Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has a way of exposing the idiocy of the left that she pulls out on social media now and again. She’s put out jokes/trolls on social media to draw in the left with a deeper point behind them.
For example, there was her masterful troll of Joe Biden after he said this.
“Let me start off with two words: Made in America,” said poor Joe, who doesn’t seem to know how to count anymore. That was October 2022, and as I reported on Thursday night, it’s gotten much worse since then.
But Democrats continue to ignore and deflect from the problem. So Boebert tweeted this.
“Two Words: Let’s Go Brandon!” Boebert said.
The left all fell on her, calling that stupid for saying “two words” and suggesting she resign, not realizing (because their media doesn’t tell them) that Biden just said that. But they spread it and then ultimately have to find out how hypocritical they all are if they don’t care about the problem with Biden. She also slipped in a “Let’s go Brandon” and got them to spread that too.
Now, Boebert was trying to make a point about Biden’s new ATF rule against pistol braces that would do nothing at all to reduce crime but would violate the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
The rule, called Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces, took effect on Jan. 31 after it was finalized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives (ATF). It will treat any firearms with stabilizing accessories as short-barreled rifles, which require a federal license to own under the National Firearms Act.
According to Republicans, the rule would require gun owners to either register pistols with stabilizing braces with the ATF, turn over those firearms, or face 10 years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines.
It’s a ridiculous abuse, trying to violate the rights of Americans by executive fiat, and the GOP has come out in force proposing legislation to stop it. Biden’s budget proposal would also increase ATF funding by roughly $200 million. What does that mean? Well, it sounds to me like he wants the ATF to go after Americans on things like these rules.
So Boebert tweeted the following, knowing it would get a reaction, but it would highlight the critical issue.
“Biden’s ATF rule banning pistol braces is extremely dangerous,” Boebert said. “It’s causing millions of boating accidents nation wide,” she joked, referencing the common joke that gun owners have — if the government tries to unconstitutionally take their guns, those guns tend to get lost in boating accidents.
As before, she had folks on the left spreading the tweet and attacking her for being “stupid,” not understanding either the joke or the unconstitutional nature of the Biden administration’s actions. Meanwhile, they were spreading the tweet about Biden’s new rule being dangerous to many who were not even aware of the rule.
One of the people who bit hard on this one was Rachel Vindman, the wife of the execrable impeachment witness, Alexander Vindman. Here’s her spectacular self-own.
“MILLIONS OF BOATING ACCIDENTS!!!” she trumpeted. “It must be physically painful to be this stupid,” she said.
I don’t know, Rachel, why don’t you tell us? Is it? Not only didn’t she get the first part of the joke, but she also didn’t understand the part that was spelled out more plainly — that it’s a comment on Biden trying to act by fiat.
No, it’s calling out unconstitutional behavior. But that went right over her head. Considering who she’s married to, it all makes sense.
People on the right had a good laugh over her reaction and similar reactions from many on the left.
