The Democrat Hypocrisy Team is deep, America, just as it’s always been. I don’t know if South Carolina Democrat Rep. James Clyburn is the MVP, but I do know he’s on the starting five.
For his latest display of hypocritical prowess, Clyburn chose no less than MSNBC clown car driver Chris Hayes as a trusty sidekick, with whom he put on quite a show. Hayes kicked off the idiotic festivities by asking the veteran Democrat congressman to share his thoughts on the upcoming GOP investigations of The Family Biden™ as reported by Breitbart:
Congressman, having been through this a number of times now, having gone for the majority to the minority, having watched Republicans launched a series of investigations when they get the gavel, what is your expectation and posture towards these various investigations that they are gearing up to do?
As you can clearly see, above — which you already knew — Chris Hayes is no amateur in the field of professional hypocrisy, himself, but when Clyburn stepped into the box to take a few swings (make that whiffs) at House Republicans, he quickly displayed his deft skills:
I think they are very, very unnecessary. They are really a waste of time. I think they have proved that with Benghazi. We know what the result of that was, two and a half years. I don’t know how much money was spent, and it was all for naught. It may have been of some detriment to Hillary Clinton, but that is not what we run government for.
Awesome already, ain’t it? Just wait. But… before we continue… a House Democrat moaning about “waste of time” investigations? That’s some funny crap, right there, given the Democrats’ two show-trial impeachments of former President Donald Trump, topped off with stage 4 TDS-riddled Nancy Pelosi’s pathetic waste of time, the House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack to investigate the “insurrection,” and other stuff that didn’t happen. Gall, Mr. Clyburn? Oh, hell yeah.
Next up, the distinguished South Carolinian explained the purpose of the federal government to the clown car driver:
Government is here to really address the things that are really responsible and things that really get the country moving, get people, lives in order. Not to score political points. If we are going to run this government to score political points, I think the result is going to be the same.
Okay, I’m gonna stop you right there, Congressman. Explain to us one more time how your two show trials and worthless television production were “really responsible” and “really addressed” meaningful legislation designed to “get the country moving,” again. And for extra credit, please scoop us about how your extravaganzas weren’t for the sole purpose of scoring political points. I’ll wait.
Clyburn hit his hypocritical talking point one more time:
We saw that time and time again when they were in power before, and I think that will be the end result this time as well. But then, a lot of money will have been spent and wasted, and a lot of time, but we could be devoting it to improving people’s lives.
This is way too easy, Rep. Clyburn, but how much taxpayer money and congressional time did you and your Democrat colleagues waste on your Trump Derangement Syndrom afflictions? An affliction from which Democrats across America continue to suffer (wallow in.)
And, James? How much of that time and money could’ve instead been devoted to “improving people’s lives,” which, by Democrat definition, means doing your damnedest to introduce wealth-redistribution scam after wealth-redistribution scam, pass tax increase after tax increase, continue to ignore the real causes of violent crime while instead exploiting horrific crimes as excuses to attack the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners, and certainly not least, import and many what you wrongly believe will ultimately become Democrat voters, as you can get away with?
Again, I’ll wait. And please continue doing exactly what you’re doing, won’t you? Why? Because more and more Americans continue to see through your party’s hollow hypocrisy. Nice chat.
