Ten People Killed, 3 Wounded, After 18-year-old Gunman Opens Fire in Buffalo Supermarket

What appears to be a horrific racially motivated attack has left 10 people dead, including a store security guard at a Buffalo grocery store earlier today.

Police arrested 18-year-old Peyton Gendron at the scene after Buffalo police charged into the store and confronted the gunman in the vestibule.

Press Conference VIDEO:

(Via Daily Mail) – […] Gendron was caught by police emerging from the Tops Friendly Supermarket, at 1275 Jefferson Avenue about 2.30pm after shooting 13 people, 10 fatally.

Police said 11 of those shot were black, with the other two white, and suggested Gendron had walked through the supermarket looking for specific people to target, although didn’t say whether this was based on the color of their skin.

Aaron Salter Jr, a former Buffalo police officer, is the first victim that’s been named in the attack. The father of three is being hailed as a hero after exchanging gunfire with Gendron inside the market.

Gendron apparently scrawled the n-word on his rifle before carrying out Saturday’s massacre at Tops Friendly Supermarket in Buffalo.

Three gunshot victims are being treated for their injuries, and cops say 11 of those shot were black.

Gendron lived-streamed the assault as he opened fire inside the Tops Friendly Supermarket, at 1275 Jefferson Avenue, at about 2.30pm.

Police described the incident as a ‘heavily armed’ attack.

‘He exited his vehicle. He was very heavily armed. He had tactical gear. He had a tactical helmet on. He had a camera that he was livestreaming what he was doing,’ city Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said at a news conference. (read more)

Ultra MAGA sounds so cool!

Biden thinks Ultra MAGA is a smear. Biden is wrong.

Just how bad is this White House at messaging anyway? In an effort to make the America First agenda sound radical and dangerous, the Biden administration decided to dub it “The Ultra MAGA agenda.”

I don’t know about you, but Ultra MAGA doesn’t make America First sound radical and dangerous; it makes it sound awesome.

The America First Republicans could spend millions trying to come up with the perfect slogan, and still, nothing would come close to being as awesome as Ultra MAGA.

Thanks for stepping on that rake, Joe!

Sure, it sounds like a sports drink or a men’s antiperspirant. But an Ultra MAGA sports drink or antiperspirant would have the coolest ads. Hot, sweaty, muscular men with rippling abs. Oh, Mama.

Ultra MAGA sounds so cool!

According to Jen Psaki, Ultra MAGA was a Joe Biden original idea.

But I have my doubts about that, to be honest. If Joe Biden had an original thought, the world would careen off its axis. It’s more likely some speechwriter in the West Wing thought of it, but they’re letting Joe take the credit.

Because taking credit for other people’s ideas is a Joe Biden specialty.

But whoever came up with it, is probably kicking himself or herself or xirself.

My guess is, there’s a group of people in the White House communications office whose job is to come up with slogans pithy enough for old Joe to remember that he can then deploy any time he needs to shift the blame for his failures to someone else.

That’s how they ended up with “Putin’s Price Hike.”

It was reported last week that old Joe planned to start going after Republicans hard now that we’re into the primary season.

I think all the little brains in the White House burned the midnight oil for a few days trying to find the perfect pithy slogan and Ultra MAGA was the result.

It amazes me that nobody saw the phrase in print and said, “You know what? This doesn’t make the Republicans sound bad. It makes them sound totally bad-ass.”

The other day in a speech to union members, a shouting, angry Joe took it a step further, referring to Donald Trump as “the great MAGA king.”

Instantly, people on Twitter were all pointing out that Trump was going to embrace that nickname with pride.

And he did.

From his account on Truth Social, Trump tweeted a Photoshopped image of the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King movie poster with him as the bearded King and the title “The Return of the Great MAGA King.”

I’ll admit, the Photoshopped image isn’t half bad.

If only Joe Biden had stuck to the Ultra MAGA script and not ad-libbed “the great MAGA king,” he would’ve been spared stepping on that second rake.

But even without “the great MAGA king,” Joe Biden’s Ultra MAGA is blowing up in his face like a trick cigar. Just like Hillary’s ill-advised “Deplorables” remark, the America Firsters have embraced the name with gusto.

Update:

I told you Biden didn’t come up with it.

But the truth is even more outlandish than I thought:

Sweet, merciful Zeus, these people are congenitally stupid.

Spent the last 2 days watching this epic mini series on DVD. Old school Hallmark was so good back in those old days. Here's tonight's news:

The Coming COVID Midterm Frau

The Coming COVID Midterm Fraud

One million deaths, billions of dollars have been misspent, and Democrats are warning of another virus wave.

Brian Mark Weber for Patriot Post

As summer nears, tens of millions of Americans are getting beyond COVID and getting back to their normal routines. They’re heading to the beach or to a campsite, or maybe to a nearby national park. Or maybe they’re just heading downtown to a favorite restaurant, or gathering with friends for a cookout. Regardless, they’re no longer worrying about masking up or showing proof of vaccination — at least for now.

But it might not be time to burn those face diapers or vax cards just yet. Why? Because Democrats are warning of another COVID wave — a wave they expect to hit us, conveniently, just in time for the midterms. We did, after all, just reach one million American COVID deaths.

When we passed 200,000 deaths in October 2020, Joe Biden said during a presidential debate, “Anyone who … is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America.” What does he have to say now that we’ve passed one million?

(Insert caveat here for the numbers — many more Americans died with COVID than because of COVID.)

The Democrats face a twofold problem: On the one hand, the Biden administration is already requesting more relief funds. On the other, Democrats will be making demands for mail-in voting. Our country cannot afford either one of these approaches. One will drive us even deeper into debt and a likely recession, and the other will allow Democrats to hold off the coming red wave — or at least soften the blow — of a Republican-administered shellacking in November. Both are designed to help the Democrats hold onto power, and both will result in less freedom, less trust in our electoral system, and less faith in our economic system.

As for the additional funding Biden wants, how quickly he seems to have forgotten the massive fraud that plagued our nation’s pandemic relief programs during the past two years.

For example, the Paycheck Protection Program was touted as a means of making sure businesses weathered the storm of COVID shutdowns. According to Fox Business, fraud resulted in billions of dollars in lost taxpayer funds.

How many billions? NBC News reports that 10% of the PPP funds, around $80 billion, was pilfered. And nearly half, up to $400 billion, was stolen from COVID unemployment funds by international fraudsters who used the money to buy homes and cars. If it weren’t so sad, it’d be comical. No wonder no one trusts the government.

Making matters worse, the Biden administration didn’t use COVID funds exclusively to fight the virus — far from it. As a letter penned by House Republicans claims, “The $2 trillion in funding in the Biden Administration’s so-called COVID ‘rescue’ bill allocated less than 9 percent to combatting the virus, with the remaining 91 percent spending hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out state governments, and build bike trails, new high school weight rooms, apartment buildings, and golf courses.” Caught red-handed, Team Biden has refused to comply with GOP requests for info about how the funds were allocated. So much for transparency.

Fraud and deception won’t stop these Democrats from pushing for more “aid,” though. And the best way to get the support they need is to instill fear.

This time, they’re warning Americans that a massive spending splurge for new vaccines is the only way we can stop the next COVID surge. That’s right: If the government doesn’t spend billions more that it doesn’t have, COVID deaths this fall and winter will make last year’s look like the common cold.

As The Wall Street Journal reports, “The cases would amount to a million a day over the course of three to four months, according to a senior administration official, who shared the estimate as part of a White House push to secure $22.5 billion in new funding to combat the pandemic.”

Democrats, of course, are merely reverting to what worked last time, says historian Victor Davis Hanson, and what worked then was using fear to attract voters and “desperately looking for some magic escape route” to avoid facing real issues like the border and inflation.

Time’s running out for them to salvage something from the midterms, thus the COVID Hail Mary. “Democrats’ push to make permanent the voting rules put in place during the pandemic is a near last-ditch effort to keep their 2024 hopes alive,” opines columnist Kristin Tate. “The combination of reversion to pre-pandemic voting measures and shifting demographics means that without a thumb on the scale in the next elections, they lose.”

Democrats are hoping voters will be too focused on those summertime activities to notice the phony fearmongering. But maybe, just maybe, Americans won’t get fooled again.

Federal Reserve Economists Destroy Biden's Excuse of 'Oil Companies Profiteering' for Skyrocketing Gas Prices

Mike Miller reporting for RedState

If we know anything about the Democrat Party and Joe Biden, it’s that Democrats gonna Democrat and Biden gonna Biden. We also know Democrats Democratting and Biden Bidening includes creating crises, and when the polls go south, blaming Republicans, billionaires, and evil corporations for them.

Case in point: The Biden Oil Crisis™, which was soon followed, of course, by Biden Gas Price Hikes™.

“Shockingly,” that’s not how Biden and the Democrats see it.

Nope, skyrocketing gas prices are the fault of oil-company “profiteering” — a favorite go-to bogeyman of Democrats. And laugh-out-loud ridiculous, Vladimir Putin, as in “Putin’s price hikes.”

So naturally, as gas prices across the country hit new record highs this week, Biden and the Democrats again busted out the worn-out “oil and gas companies are profiteering” talking point and miraculously found a way </sarcasm> to recycle it back into the national conversation — with the liberal media sock puppets again leading the charge.

LIke clockwork, The New Yorker ran an op-ed titled As Gas Prices Reach New Highs, Oil Companies Are Profiteering, in which the left-wing rag claimed “the Biden White House is confronting a form of shareholder capitalism that has no place for modest profits or rallying around Ukraine.”

With the price of crude oil soaring to more than a hundred dollars a barrel this year, and A.A.A. reporting that the average national gas price reached a new high of $4.37 per gallon last week, Big Oil has been making historic profits. In the first three months of 2022, ExxonMobil pocketed $5.5 billion after taxes; Chevron gained $6.3 billion, and ConocoPhillips made $5.8 billion.

Smaller energy producers, which are concentrated in the U.S. and often referred to as wildcatters, are also profiting enormously. Last week, Pioneer Natural Resources reported first-quarter earnings of two billion dollars, and Marathon Oil reported revenues of $1.3 billion.

Beautifully (as if for this conservative political pundit’s benefit), The New Yorker even shared quotes from Biden, including the following, from March:

The CEOs of major oil companies have said they’ll increase investment and production. They have the capacity to do it. My message is: it’s time—in this time of war, it’s not a time of profit. It’s time for reinvesting in America.

But alas, The New Yorker lamented, flying wingman: “Overall U.S. oil production is still running far below its pre-pandemic level. In February 2020, U.S. oil fields generated around thirteen million barrels of crude a day; last month, they produced less than 11.9 million barrels a day.”

And while we’re at it, the piece also quoted Biden blaming the Republicans: “They have no plan to bring down energy prices today, no plan to get us to a cleaner, energy-independent future tomorrow.”

Just one problem with “all of the above.”

As reported by Breitbart News on Friday, economists at the Federal Reserve of Dallas this week published an analysis debunking the Democrats’ “profiteering” excuse for high gas prices. Senior economic analysts Garrett Golding and Lutz Kilian explained that profiteering and price gouging are not contributing to the staggering price of gas.

While U.S. retail gasoline prices in many regions have remained stubbornly high since March, this situation reflects frictions in the retail gasoline market rather than the supply of oil or the price of oil.

Um, Joe?

Golding and Kilian explained two facts in particular that disprove the Democrat myth:

Gas station operators set prices: “Gas station operators set retail prices based on their expected acquisition cost for the next delivery of fuel from the local distributor, federal and state tax rates, and a markup that covers operating expenses, such as rent, delivery charges and credit card fees.”

Nearly every gas station is owned by a company that does not produce oil: “Since only 1 percent of service stations in the U.S. are owned by companies that also produce oil, U.S. oil producers are in no position to control retail gasoline prices.”

I’ll try to avoid the deep weeds, here, but according to Golding and Kilian, the cost of crude oil accounts for roughly 59 percent of the price of gasoline, so a 34 percent increase in the price of oil should reflect a 20 percent increase in the retail price of gas.

Likewise, a 22 percent decline in the cost of oil should translate to a 13 percent decline in the pump price, according to their analysis. However, that has not happened at the national level.

Moreover, the analysts said, the asymmetry of the response of retail gasoline prices does not provide evidence of price gouging — another favorite Democrat charge.

Finally, one potential explanation, according to Golding and Kilian, is station operators are recapturing margins lost during the upswing — when gas stations were initially slow to increase pump prices. The reluctance to lower retail prices also likely reflects concerns that oil prices, and hence, wholesale gasoline prices, may quickly rebound, eating into station profit margins.

The bottom line:

Again, Democrats gonna Democrat, and Biden gonna Biden; the hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds. From the Biden Oil Crisis to the Biden Border Crisis to the Biden Afghanistan Debacle to the Biden Supply Chain Crisis, Bidenomics, Bidenflation, and Biden Gas Prices Hikes, nothing — as in zero — is ever Biden’s fault.

Oh, but it is. All of it.

Netflix Goes Scorched Earth on Woke Employees

When you go woke, you run the risk of going broke, and apparently, Netflix is pulling the ripcord before the streaming giant good and fully faceplants.

Following a financial report that saw its stock price plummet 37 percent in late April, Netflix is now moving to adjust its culture and reengage its frustrated audience. A new “culture memo” dealing with “artistic expression” has been sent out, and it’s clearly a shot at the woke staffers who have been sandbagging the company.

Excerpts come via The Daily Wire.

“If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you,” the memo states, later adding that employees may be required to work on projects that they “perceive to be harmful” and that if they have a hard time accepting their work assignment, they might want to consider working somewhere else.

“Entertaining the world is an amazing opportunity and also a challenge because viewers have very different tastes and points of view. So we offer a wide variety of TV shows and movies, some of which can be provocative,” the new section reads, later adding, “we support the artistic expression of the creators we choose to work with” and that “we let viewers decide what’s appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices.”

Most of this appears to center on the controversy over a comedy special by Dave Chappelle that Netflix put out. In it, he made a few relatively mundane transgender jokes. Of course, he also made Jewish jokes and took a variety of other shots are other demographics. That’s what comedy is, and the idea that certain groups are off-limits is not something Chappelle is ever going to abide by.

But the trans jokes led to a “trans walkout” and other protestations from Netflix employees. At the time, the CEO came out and defended Chappelle before bending the knee, attempting to coddle the woke employees that were lashing out by seeking an ill-advised middle ground. Once that financial collapse happened, though, it looks like a sudden change in direction happened. You can imagine that the board of directors and the shareholders were none too happy with seeing their company burn to the ground in order to make a small minority of far-left activists happy.

I believe the physical attack on Chappelle was the last straw, though. A man with a knife (hidden in a fake gun muzzle for some reason) tackled the comedian on stage and came out far worse for it. Netflix obviously said enough is enough and wanted to make it clear that they will not have any more internal incitement toward those that actually make the company successful.

The new hardline isn’t just in words, either. The employee who led that walkout has been fired. Further, the recommendation for those who object to Netflix’s work to find another job is about as tough of a line as I’ve seen from a company on this issue. It’s heartening to see that perhaps, just maybe, we might see a return to sanity, at least on some fronts.

Biden Effort to Turn Ultra MAGA into a Disparaging Epithet Came from Six Month Study Headed by Anita Dunn

The Washington Post is reporting the shift from the White House to disparage their political opposition with the terms “MAGA”, “Ultra-MAGA” and President Trump as the “Great MAGA King,” came from a six-month poll study led by Anita Dunn, the latest senior advisor in the White House.

Keep in mind, a few days ago White House spokesperson Jen Psaki said the terminology “ultra-MAGA” was an “organic utterance” from Joe Biden.  Whoops.

WASHINGTON DC – […] Biden’s attempt to appropriate the “MAGA” brand as a political attack was hardly accidental. It arose from a six-month research project to find the best way to target Republicans, helmed by Biden adviser Anita Dunn and by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, a liberal group.

The polling and focus group research by Hart Research and the Global Strategy Group found that “MAGA” was already viewed negatively by voters — more negatively than other phrases like “Trump Republicans.”

In battleground areas, more than twice as many voters said they would be less likely to vote for someone called a “MAGA Republican” than would be more likely. The research also found that the description tapped into the broad agreement among voters that the Republican Party had become more extreme and power-hungry in recent years. (read more)

On May 5th the White House announced Anita Dunn would return to the JoeBama administration as senior advisor.  Dunn’s specific expertise is using pressure, blackmail and political leverage to control information distribution by media organizations.  Apparently “ultra-MAGA” was Dunn’s first branding effort for the White House.

The reappearance of Anita Dunn aligns with the expressed intent of the DHS ‘disinformation’ board.  Dunn’s professional political skillset surrounds being a paid media fixer.   She has done this for multiple democrat politicians including Obama.  It was Anita Dunn who used her position in the Biden campaign to demand that media stop allowing Rudy Guiliani to explain the Biden family ‘pay to play’ financial system of selling influence.

Anita Dunn also advised Harvey Weinstein how to remove media stories of his Hollywood rape issues.  Dunn reappearing makes sense, as the U.S. government objective to control information is now in full swing.

Last point.  The group that spearheaded the six month study, Hart Research, is the same outfit who does all the polling for NBC and CNBC.  Partisan much?  lol

Are we afraid to govern?

Article by Allan J. Feifer in The American Thinker

Are we afraid to govern?

Is the ever downward spiral of American governance a consequence of political expediency over thoughtful leadership?  You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see the abject failure of government to get ahead of issues that were both foreseeable and fixable.

If these failures were few and far between, we might be able to forgive the occasional error.  But what we are witnessing today is an acceleration of a trend that has been building for a generation that sees our ability to use common sense and intellect failing over and over.

Let's examine four recent and differing monumental failures of government action/inaction:

  • The baby formula crisis.  Unless you have been living under a rock, you've heard about a massive undersupply of baby formula in the U.S.  Not so in Europe or in other countries.
  • The Afghanistan retreat.  Our government suffered a massive loss of face by committing an unforced error in undertaking an uncoordinated headlong retreat that cost lives and left thousands to the tender mercies of the Taliban.
  • COVID Policy.  We all know that with the benefit of hindsight, we should be able to identify our failures.  Eighty percent of COVID-19 deaths were for individuals over 65.  Yet the government continues to push costly and questionable policies that are broad-based and not targeted.
  • Inflation.  Inflation is great if you own a home with a fixed mortgage.  Buy with Dear Dollars and pay back with Inflated Dollars.  But for nearly everything else, inflation brings misery, poverty, and depression to American households, and it needn't have been so.

There are literally thousands of decisions that government functionaries and politicians make that fail the test of common sense and reason.  All of the above are connected by the same failures of leadership, responsibility, and accountability.  Everyone knows it, yet they ignore past negative results and do it all over again the next time.  Why?

We see two primary reasons:

  1. The government is structured to avoid accountability
  2. Rewards and promotions reflect a preference for organizational loyalty over performance

Could it be that simple?  That the answer is as simple as was the conclusion that the drunk master of the Exxon-Valdez was not culpable for one of the most avoidable oil spills in history due to his self-reporting the accident in a timely manner?  Have we lost our minds?  By letting regulations become more important than actions, we have eliminated culpability for results.  In a nutshell, almost every scandal, mistake, or policy that failed spectacularly has at its core decisions or actions that any sane and sober individual would immediately understand are going to fail.  But we keep doing it, over and over.

Remember the Peter Principle?  In a given organizational hierarchy, individuals are promoted until they reach a position where their incompetence becomes manifest, at which they remain.

Our federal government is the ultimate hierarchy.  What Laurence J. Peter either missed or ignored was one more thing: bureaucrats and politicians love conformity.  You see it in bloc-voting in the Senate, where there appears to be unanimity of action.  You see it in the IRS, where mindless automatons who used to be thinking individuals follow policies and rules that frequently don't make sense and harm taxpayers.  You see it in government regulations like an old OSHA one that didn't allow ice in thermoses at construction sites because of a fear of contamination from when ice was sourced from frozen rivers.  (I got cited in the '70s for this violation.)  European baby formula is denied importation because of labeling or other knit-picking issues.

The bottom line is that Americans die or are harmed needlessly each year through a focus on regulation and process versus common sense.  Beleaguered President Donald Trump notably failed in his desire to reform government regulations.  The system is just too entrenched for any one-term president to overcome.

This is what we should be debating — not the daily drumbeat of political partisanship so very much on display every day.

Top Democrat Leader Declares 'We're at War,' Asserts Joe Biden off Limits for Criticism

Top Democrat Leader Declares 'We're at War,' Asserts Joe Biden off Limits for Criticism

(AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)

In one of the most “wait, what?” moments of 2022, a top Democrat leader in the House has declared that the United States is currently at war. That’s not an exaggeration nor an uncharitable reading of the situation. Apparently, unbeknownst to the public at large, Congress and the White House have managed to enter into a war with Russia without going through any of the constitutional steps to do so.

Truly, nothing surprises me anymore.

Perhaps having an 82-year-old as the House Majority Leader isn’t that good of an idea? I’d like to think that someone with more cognitive capacity would at least couch their words instead of just blurting out that the country is at war, when it’s most certainly not at war. I’m probably being too kind to the rest of the Washington apparatchiks, though, by suspecting mental decline is at play here. After all, we’ve had multiple Republicans assert we are in a proxy war over the last few days.

Regardless, I think we all know what this is really about. Joe Biden’s presidency is a disaster. Inflation is through the roof, the border is a crisis zone, and the sanctions that were put on Russia for invading Ukrainearen’t having their desired effect. Those realities have the Democrat Party barrelling toward an electoral cliff in November. What better way to try to turn things around than to start falsely proclaiming that Biden is a war-time president?

Hoyer goes so far as to suggest that Biden shouldn’t be criticized during these supposedly trying times. It’s a strategy so overt and stupid that you almost have to respect the fact that Democrats are willing to try it. Putting economic sanctions on another country does not make a president a war-time president. The same is true for giving lethal weapons to another nation while it does all the fighting. If those were the standards, essentially every president has been a war-time president, at least since the turn of the 20th century.

Come on, no one is buying this, right? I know pretending Biden is something he’s not is kind of a trend on the left, but there’s just no chance this attempt to make him into a war-time president works. Further, it risks a backlash from war-weary Americans who want to help Ukraine but might not take too kindly to the government once again shipping billions in unchecked dollars overseas.

Unfortunately, Republicans are playing right into this Democrat ploy by full-throatily supporting the $40 billion slush fund bill, which is currently on hold in the Senate. Sen. Rand Paul has stood alone trying to put boundaries on the spending package (he wants an amendment that will make the money accountable to the inspector general), and GOP leaders have lambasted those who’ve expressed skepticism. The uni-party is back, and it’s the same as the old uni-party.

There Will Be Blood

Article by Blaine L. Pardoe in The American Thinker

There Will Be Blood

Progressive activists have long fallen on the tactic of resorting to violence, destruction, and even bloodshed to get their points across. With the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on abortion, I feel assured they will once more pull this oft-used tool from their belt, and once again resort to carnage and mayhem. Already, they vandalized several Catholic churches last weekend, and firebombed a Right to Life group’s headquarters. A bullet was fired into the office of the Virginia Attorney General this week as well. Violence is already here. These were all pre-game activities as they warm up for what is to come.

In reality however, members of the far Left have consistently resorted to violence and sanctioned attacks against civilians. Many of the Vietnam protests turned into riots. Domestic terrorists belonging to the Weather Underground bombed school buildings, the U.S. Capitol, and the Pentagon. The SLA robbed banks, set off bombs and murdered innocent people.

In recent years, staff of the Trump Administration, such as Sarah Huckabee Sanders, faced confrontational harassment and were asked to leave businesses – actions fully supported by politicians such as Maxine Waters. Mad Maxine encouraged her followers to publicly accost Trump officials. Ten years earlier, such a statement by a politician would earn a well-deserved censure in the House. Now, it is accepted and even supported with nary an uproar. Let’s not forget that in June of 2017, a Bernie Sanders supporter shot and wounded Representative Steve Scalise during a baseball game. Encouraging acts of aggression gets you one thing – more aggression.

The characterization of the riots of 2020 as “mostly peaceful protests” by the mainstream media and Democrat leadership simply reinforces their willingness to cross the line into outright violence to make their point. The media love the violence because violence equals ratings and clicks on the web. They will highlight the carnage that is to come and make sure we all see it on the nightly news. They will paint the domestic terrorists as patriots. They, like the Democrat leadership, see the violence as the justified ‘means to an end’ of their social agenda.

Fear-mongering to whip their constituents into a frenzy has already begun. Warnings that same-sex marriages could be on the chopping block, and interracial marriage rights will face removal are the calling cards left by the ‘progressive’ Left. The View went so far as to warn that “….fascism is coming!” While we all joke that The View is far from a credible source, they do have a voice, no matter how cackling and grating it may be. Progressives are literally stoking the coals to start a fire that simply is nonexistent. In doing so, they are complacent in whatever violence may come.

In the past, the extreme Left was the source of mayhem, far removed from the Democratic party of John F. Kennedy. The problem today is, the Democrat Party and the extreme Left are one and the same. The Party shifted so far left, that the violent fringe is where the mainstream party now resides. As such, they have no issues with utilizing violence to achieve their ends. Machiavelli would be proud.

There will be blood because their other, more traditional tactics, are failing. Labeling people/groups as ‘Nazi’ or ‘racist’ ceases to have meaning. Painting parents as domestic terrorists backfired. Defaming and degrading, perhaps the most choice weapons in the Left’s arsenal, only further alienate people. Most grow tired of the rhetoric. America is numb to their false polls, their pundits, and their late-night-show hit jobs. Censorship and demonization of conservatives on social media reached a tipping point with Musk’s Twitter purchase. With midterms coming, even the most jaded person can see the tide is turning against the Left. What remains is brute force.

The best barometer of support for this tactic was the lack of action from the White House itself over the protests outside the homes of the Supreme Court justices. On their own, these protests were clearly attempts to influence the Justice’s decision which has not been issued – a violation of federal law. Did the White House condemn these actions and warn off the protestors with arrests? Did the Mumbler-in-Chief speak out against this and attempt to quell the anger? No. While they asked for no violence or threats, they saw no issues with this kind of personal harassment. In essence, they signaled to the crowd, ‘go for it!’

We are in no man’s land – between the illegal leak of the High Court’s decision and the formal announcement of its ruling. Rest assured, protest signs are being printed and plans for large-scale riots are underway. The Progressives are akin to spoiled children – if they don’t get their way, a temper-tantrum is inevitable. While I hope that I am wrong; I fear what is to come. A people who would advocate for the killing of unborn children will have few qualms about harming adults that think differently. We are potentially looking at a long and painful summer, one where viciousness and bloodshed are bound to occur.
