The people who were involved in pushing Russia collusion should have slunk away and hid in shame over how much they hurt the country. Unfortunately, they have no shame.
Disgraced fired former FBI agent Peter Strzok had the nerve to push yet more Russian outrage nonsense, attacking Tulsi Gabbard and Tucker Carlson and accusing them of “coordinating” on Russia.
This is pretty funny — two people saying the same thing is now “coordinating” and is supposed to have some evil meaning behind it. But unfortunately, this was the level of intelligence behind the Russia collusion push.
Then Strzok tried to downplay the comments mocking him — all of which raised great points, smacking him with a little reality.
Strzok followed up by pushing a Mother Jones story about an alleged Russian communication regarding Tucker Carlson.
So let’s consider that a moment. First, Mother Jones is not a reliable source for anything. But they suddenly get a mysterious memo allegedly from a Russian source that Russian media should play what Tucker says. So wait, who’s pushing Russian information here? They’re pushing something they say came from Russian sources and not even questioning why suddenly they are getting this. Didn’t they learn anything from what the media did before with Russia collusion? Does it not occur to them that they could be — once again — pushing Russian disinformation? But the left is falling for this kind of thing yet again.
We’re a free society, unlike Russia. Americans can say anything they like — including intelligent things, stupid things, and things with which I disagree. Unlike Democrats, I’m not pushing to censor or arrest people for saying things with which I might disagree. That’s what makes us different than Russia.
We see a new McCarthyism rising from the left as we noted with Ana Navarro’s statement on “The View” on Monday saying that people who they consider to be “shilling” for Vladimir Putin should be investigated by the DOJ. Again, that goes against the very nature of our Constitution. Folks on the left are all cool with this because it involves two people they don’t like and buys into the Russia delusion they want to push.
As I observed on Monday, we’re entering again into more mob mentality — just as we saw with the left regarding COVID — and those who don’t adhere to the dictate of what is right to think are to be targeted; that one should even shun Russians for the sake of being Russian, even Russian cats. That’s a dangerous slope to start down.
