America Has Long Had a Racist Political Party

The Democratic Party prospers on the votes of the very people it has spent much of its history oppressing. And the names of those oppressors are well known.

The official Donkey Party website, Wikipedia, and a hundred other prejudicial sources online such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, would never tell you what I am about to relate. It is not a secret; many noted historians have written about it at great length, but the Left does not want you to know it. They have obscured the facts or tried to rewrite their whitewashed version of history. Why?

The Democratic Party was founded in 1828 by the backers of General Andrew Jackson, a Southerner and ardent racist who owned slaves and thought nothing wrong with the practice. Jackson, who became the 8th president, earned his fortune in a cotton industry based entirely on slaveholding.

“Old Hickory” as his troops called him, was one tough son of a bitch. Compromise was not in his lexicon. Aside from his attitudinal superiority over blacks, Jackson is also famous for the “Trail of Tears” which forced Native Americans off their ancestral lands. These are the seminal beginning roots of the Democratic Party tradition in America.

Leading up to the Civil War, the Democratic Party had only one platform: Keeping slavery and the plantation economy intact.

In an attempt to settle sectional conflicts about the expansion of slavery, Congress passed the Kansas-Nebraska Act in 1854. The Act stated that the residents of those states, rather than the federal government, would determine the legality of slavery in those territories. The Republican Party was created largely in response to the Act; their 1856 platform of “free labor, free land, free men” aimed to protect poor white farmers and laborers from competition with slave labor. In response, the Democratic Party took a position of non-interference with the institution of slavery, which they favored and defended.

The Democratic Party was founded in a racism that was intended to support the interests of the ruling class and its party grandees as its first political principle. It was the core tenant of their political philosophy, public policy, and actions for the better part of a century.

The Democrats controlled the South and fought the Civil War as “Confederates,” to protect and preserve slavery and their way of life. The Confederacy never had political parties because they were all Democrats. All of the governors, generals, and leaders of the South in its war of secession were, in fact, Democrats.

The Republican Party was formed to abolish slavery and maintain the Union. In Ripon, Wisconsin, former members of the Whig Party meet to establish a new party to oppose the spread of slavery into the western territories. The Whig Party, which was formed in 1834 to oppose the “tyranny” of President Andrew Jackson, had shown itself incapable of coping with the national crisis over slavery.

With the successful introduction of the Kansas-Nebraska Bill of 1854, an act that dissolved the terms of the Missouri Compromise and allowed slave or free status to be decided in the territories, the Whigs disintegrated. When Lincoln, the first Republican president, was elected with a split vote in 1860, it took only three weeks for the states of the South, all Democratic, to secede from the Union and start the Civil War, the bloodiest tragedy in all of American history.

After the surrender of the Confederates, the Democrats were implicated in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. John Wilkes Booth, a well-known actor, was a staunch supporter of slavery and the Southern Confederacy during America’s Civil War. On the night of April 14, 1865, three days after the war ended, he entered Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C., and shot Lincoln. The assassin shouted, “Sic semper tyrannis! [Ever thus to tyrants!] The South is avenged,” as he jumped onto the stage and fled on horseback. Booth was funded  and supported by the Democratic Party and the Confederacy, and his known plan was to reignite the Civil War and keep slavery.

The turbulent era of Reconstruction (1865-77) following the Civil War saw an effort to reintegrate Southern states and four million newly freed black people into the United States. The Democrats had a different plan for Reconstruction  based on a reversion to their supremacist racist policies and ideology. Under the administration of President Andrew Johnson (a Democrat from Tennessee) in 1866, new southern state legislatures passed highly restrictive and harsh “Black Codes” to control the labor and behavior of formerly enslaved people and other African Americans.

Outrage in the North over these racist measures eroded support for the approach known as Presidential Reconstruction and led to the triumph of the more radical wing of the Republican Party. During Radical Reconstruction, which began with the passage of the Reconstruction Act of 1867 by Republicans, newly enfranchised black people gained an active voice in government for the first time in American history, winning election to southern state legislatures and even to the U.S. Congress. In less than a decade, however, reactionary forces—primarily the Ku Klux Klan—would reverse the changes wrought by Radical Reconstruction in a violent backlash that restored white supremacy in a South that was still totally Democrat controlled.

At the conclusion of the Civil War, six Confederate veterans, all Democrats, gathered in Pulaski, Tennessee, to create the Ku Klux Klan (Greek for circle), a vigilante group mobilizing a campaign of violence and terror against the progress of Reconstruction and the Republicans. As the group gained members from all strata of Southern white society, they used violent intimidation to prevent black people—and any white people who supported Reconstruction (namely, Republicans)—from voting and holding political office. All of the members of the Klan were Democrats; participation in the Democratic Party was explicitly mandated by the Klan, and the linkage between that political party and its extremist, violent terrorist wing is well documented.

In an effort to maintain white hegemonic control of government, the Klan, joined by other white Southerners in the Democratic Party, engaged in a violent campaign of deadly voter intimidation during the 1868 presidential election. From Arkansas to Georgia, thousands of black people were killed. Similar campaigns of lynchings, tar-and-featherings, rapes and other violent attacks on those challenging white supremacy became a hallmark of the Klan for decades. Again, this was informally sanctioned by the Democratic Party.

Jim Crow allegations are all the rage today, but the real thing originated with Democrats and included these abhorrent practices. These laws enforced racial segregation in the South between the end of Reconstruction in 1877 and the beginning of the civil rights movement in the 1950s. (Jim Crow was the name of a minstrel routine that mocked black people. The term came to be a derogatory epithet for all African Americans and a designation for their  segregated life.)

From the late 1870s, Southern state legislatures, totally controlled by the Democrats, passed laws requiring the separation of whites from “persons of color” in public transportation and schools. Segregation was extended to parks, cemeteries, theaters, and restaurants in an attempt to prevent any contact whatsoever between blacks and whites as equals. Although the U.S. Constitution forbade racial discrimination, every state of the former Confederacy, all with Democratic governors and state legislatures, moved to disenfranchise blacks by imposing biased reading requirements, stringent property qualifications, and complex poll taxes. Jim Crow laws were a Democratic invention and lasted until the 1960s.

Democratic leaders like the late Senator Robert “Sheets” Byrd (D-W.Va.), were high-ranking officials in the KKK. Byrd was himself a grand cyclops of the KKK. He actively recruited hundreds of members and bragged about it. He held political office as a Democratic leader for five decades and was the longest serving Democrat in Congress. In December 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationist Democrat Mississippi Senator Bilbo:

I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side . . .  Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

During the Civil Rights Movement Democrats did everything in their power to forestall the rights of minorities and continue the subjugation of black voters.  When all of their efforts to enslave blacks, keep them enslaved, and then keep them from voting failed, the Democrats came up with a new strategy: If black people are going to vote, they might as well vote for Democrats. As President Lyndon Johnson was heard to have said about the Civil Rights Act, “I’ll have them n—–s voting Democrat for 200 years.”

So now the Democratic Party prospers on the votes of the very people it has spent much of its history oppressing. And the names of those oppressors are well known.

Theophilus Eugene “Bull” Connor was an American politician and dedicated member of the Democratic Party who served as Commissioner of Public Safety for the city of Birmingham, Alabama, for more than two decades. He strongly opposed the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s and was famous for his racist rhetoric and use of police dogs against protestors. He came to typify the Democratic attitude against equality and the 13th Amendment.

George Wallace, the fiery Democrat governor of Alabama was infamous for standing in the doorway of the University of Alabama to block integration in 1963. He attempted to keep his inaugural promise of “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever” and stop the desegregation of schools and society. He came to personify the Democratic attitude to race relations and later went on to mount a losing run for the presidency.

Dixiecrat Democrats, formed in 1948, were opposed to civil rights, and bolted when Harry Truman took the Democratic nomination. Southern Democrats tried to forestall the signing of both the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act in 1964. If Republicans had not sided with certain Northern Democrats to end the longest filibuster in history by then-Democrat Senator Strom Thurmond (D-S.C.), the Act would not have become law.

People like then-Senator Joe Biden, (D-Del.) from the border slaveholding state, Delaware, below the Mason-Dixon line, got elected on a segregationist banner and opposed integration and school busing throughout the 1970s and 80s. Biden worked closely for years with Democratic Mississippi Senator James Eastland and Democratic Georgia Senator Herman Talmadge, two demonstrably racist Democrats, who opposed civil rights legislation and all integration efforts. “We didn’t agree on much of anything. We got things done,” Biden said in his 2020 campaign, joking that Eastland “never called me ‘boy’; he always called me ‘son.'”

The tortuous history, when actually read and studied, demonstrates one abundantly clear fact; America has long had a racist political party.

They are called Democrats.

CNN Forced To Reset 'Days Since Trump Was Proven Right' Counter To Zero Again

ATLANTA, GA—After information was released yesterday that hydroxychloroquine can increase the survival rate of patients diagnosed with COVID-19, a sad, forlorn Brian Stelter was forced to shuffle over to the "Days Since Trump Was Proven Right" counter and reset it to zero once again.

"Ugh. Not again!" said Stelter as he fumbled with the buttons on the side of the sign and changed it from "00001" to "00000" for the third day in a row. "One of these days we're gonna get up to 3!"

"Curse you, Bad Orange Man!"

Just in the last several weeks, the CNN crew has had to reset the counter almost every day, as Trump's blaming of the virus on China, the Wuhan lab leak theory, and his claim that the police didn't clear Lafayette Park just for his photo op were all proven to be true. Some CNN employees were reportedly taking a shot every time Trump was proven to be correct about something that the media relentlessly called him a liar about, but they were forced to stop before getting alcohol poisoning.

"Boys, it's been a tough week, but we'll turn things around soon," said Stelter in an attempt to rally the troops. "Things are looking up already, see? Toobin's back!"

Blackrock owns America’s homes – and a whole lot else

Article by Andrea Widburg in The American Thinker

Blackrock owns America’s homes – and a whole lot else

If you’ve been thinking of buying a house, you’ve probably noticed that house prices are soaring everywhere, not just in the usual preferred zip codes. You might have thought this is simply because of market deformations thanks to COVID and the lockdowns. In fact, the soaring prices reflect something much more sinister: Blackrock, an investment company is buying up housing stock, turning America into a nation of renters – that is, people with no stake in their communities or their futures. However, what’s really sinister is that it’s not just housing stock. BlackRock, along with The Vanguard Group, owns a disproportionate number of American corporations, more even than you realize.

Let’s start with the housing stock issue. Here’s a short Tucker Carlson segment about the way the multinational investment company BlackRock is driving up prices and decreasing housing stock by buying up whole communities:

What Tucker and Pedro Gonzalez describe is bad and should have you deeply worried. What’s worse is something I learned about some months ago but sat on because I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.

It’s a video made by a Dutch woman in which, using publicly available information, she points out that very few corporations are the personal playgrounds of millionaires and billionaires. Instead, most of them trace back to BlackRock and The Vanguard Group. For example, if you think Coke and Pepsi are competitors, they might be at a micro level but, at a macro level, both have the same primary owners: BlackRock and The Vanguard Group:

(I CAN'T GET THE VIDEO TO TRANSFER FROM THIS ARTICLE. GO TO THE SOURCE TO WATCH IT)

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/06/blackrock_owns_americas_homes__and_a_whole_lot_else.html

If you don’t want to watch the video or don’t have 45 minutes to spare, you can read the transcript here. The following is just one segment of the video to give you a flavor of the video:

Facebook is the owner of Whatsapp and Instagram. Together with Twitter, they form the most popular social media platforms.

Alphabet is the parent of all Google companies, like YouTube and Gmail but they are also the biggest investor in Android, one of the two operating systems for nearly all smartphones and tablets.

The other operating system is Apple’s IOS. If we add Microsoft, we see four companies making the software for nearly all computers, tablets and smartphones in the world.

Let’s see who are the biggest shareholders of these companies.

Take Facebook: we see that 80% of the stock is owned by institutional investors.

These are the same names that came up in the food industry; the same investors are in the top three.

Next, is Twitter. It forms with Facebook and Instagram the top three.

Surprisingly, this company is in the hands of the same investors, as well. We see them again, with Apple and even with their biggest competitor, Microsoft.

Also, if we look at other big companies in the tech industry that develop and make our computers, TVs, phones and home appliances, we see the same big investors, that together own the majority of the stock.

It’s true for all industries. I’m not exaggerating.

When I first watched the video, I decided that it was too conspiratorial for my taste or, as I like to describe it, something using imaginary dots to connect invisible lines. I might have ignored it forever if it hadn’t been for Tucker’s segment about BlackRock. And with the recent revelations about Bill Gates, it suddenly mattered that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Clinton Foundation (which I long presumed to be entirely corrupt) have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, most or all of which are tied to Vanguard and BlackRock.

Once upon a time, I might also have shrugged off concerns about institutional investors owning everything. After all, institutional investors are what enable ordinary people, through mutual funds and other large funds, to have a chance at investing in the stock market – and, moreover, to have professionals manage their money.

However, I recently began rethinking that viewpoint when I realized that the fact that institutional investors ultimately own the shares in most corporations probably explains why there haven’t been shareholder lawsuits when corporations have made social justice decisions that caused their shares to decrease in value (e.g., Gillette’s woke ad). While ordinary shareholders might once have objected, the institutional shareholders don’t – because they hold the same values as the woke corporations. Everything is intended to steer American society (and European society) in a single direction.

So maybe this is all lunatic fringe craziness or maybe Tucker’s point about BlackRock and that Dutch lady’s video point the way to something that ought to worry us a lot.

New Video Shows Capitol Police Letting Jan. 6 Rioters Inside — And Sen. Ron Johnson Is Demanding Answers

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is pressuring Capitol law enforcement officials to answer questions about Jan. 6 and why Capitol Police were not prepared to stop people from entering the building.

In a letter to Acting Chief of U.S. Capitol Police Yogananda Pittman, Johnson explained that his team’s review of the video footage from the Capitol riot raised some questions about how law enforcement chose to handle the situation.

First, Johnson explained that more than 300 people appeared to enter the building through the upper west terrace door after it was left ajar by a group exiting the building under the supervision of a Capitol Police officer. Just one minute later, Johnson said the footage shows that the officer, “who was in the vicinity of this door one minute earlier, walked into another hallway away from this door and out of the view of the security camera” while people poured in.

“At 2:35 p.m., five police officers who were not wearing riot gear or carrying any protective equipment, such as shields, arrived at this doorway,” Johnson said, noting that these officers were “blocking people from continuing to enter the building at this location.” “About a minute later, four unauthorized individuals, including two people wearing helmets, pushed past the officers’ line and a surge of people entered the building walking past the officers. These police officers did not appear to take any further action to stop or block people entering the building until a few minutes later.”

Minutes later, the officers formed another line and then engaged in discussion with the group near the door. This conversation was not recorded because the security system did not pick up audio, but Johnson said no one in the group appeared “aggressive or violent.” The officers, however, eventually began to “slowly retreat from the doorway, allowing a surge of people to, once again, enter the building.”

“Security footage then showed an increase of law enforcement officers outside of the building directly in front of this doorway. At 2:47 p.m., law enforcement closed these doors. Over the span of this 14-minute period, it appeared that approximately 309 unauthorized individuals entered the Capitol through the upper west terrace doors. USCP estimated at least 800 unauthorized individuals entered the Capitol on January 6. If that estimate is accurate, it appears this doorway was the entry point for as much as 38 percent of that total,” Johnson wrote.

Not only did Johnson ask if Pittman believes her office’s assessment of the events at those particular doors is correct, but he demanded that Capitol Police answer questions about their actions during the short time period.

“In order to fully understand what happened at the upper west terrace doorway, it is important to hear from the officers that were present at that location. Have these officers filed detailed reports of this incident? Has USCP conducted transcribed interviews with them? If so, I request copies of these reports and transcribed interviews. If not, I respectfully ask for the opportunity to interview these officers,” Johnson said.

He also asked if Capitol police know why the left door to the entrance didn’t appear to be working at first but eventually opened later. “Does USCP know why at approximately 2:26 p.m. an individual could not open the left door at the upper west terrace entrance, but seven minutes later, at 2:33 p.m., another individual could open that same door?” Johnson asked. “Does USCP have any indication that this door was locked at 2:26 p.m. and then unlocked by 2:33 p.m.?”

Lastly, Johnson requested the “security footage of the interior and exterior cameras located near the upper west terrace doors from 2:20 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.” to better assess the situation.

“The American people deserve an accurate and complete understanding of what happened on January 6. To provide that historical record, it is important that all aspects of that day — from the peaceful protests on the Ellipse to the acts of violence in and around the Capitol — are fully and fairly examined,” Johnson explained.

Pelosi Asks Omar To Clarify Ambiguous Statement That We Should 'Kill The Jews'

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has sent a letter to Representative Ilhan Omar asking her to clarify her ambiguous and possibly concerning statement "We should kill all the Jews."

"It's rather unclear what you meant by 'Kill the Jews', Rep. Omar, and we'd appreciate some clarification," Pelosi wrote in a letter to the congresswoman. "We look forward to hearing from your unique perspective as a woman of color and are excited to hear what it is you meant. We know you don't always know how to use words good like we do, so sometimes that can be tough for an oppressed immigrant like yourself. We deeply appreciate any clarification you can offer."

Other members of "The Squad" immediately jumped to Omar's defense, saying her "freedom of speech" was being trampled upon for even asking for clarification on her "Kill the Jews" statement.

"This is outrageous," said Representative Rashida Tlaib. "We oppressed female Muslims can't even eat, breathe, or call for the killing of an entire people without the whites jumping in to attack us. Until we women of color can safely call for the killing of the Jews without raising an eyebrow, we won't truly have freedom of speech in the United States of America."

Omar did eventually clarify her statement, saying she didn't mean "kill the Jews" but rather "murder the Jews."

The collective insanity that’s rapidly erasing America

The collective insanity that’s rapidly erasing America

Many of us older than half a century no longer recognize the country we grew up in. We have a hard time reconciling that past America with what we see happening today. America, to our view, was predominantly a place of light, freedom, and joy. Now, as we witness a massing storm of iniquity, we either don’t understand what we’re seeing or we choke back the language to describe it because the words all sound too harsh or politically incorrect. We look for other demons to blame such as Socialism, and Marxism, and while they are definitely part of the problem, what now haunts us is even darker than those malignancies.

This baleful presence has been gathering over the American landscape for some time and the pandemic provided just the right catalyst for it to become a clear and present danger. It would now take an act of will to ignore its existence but we still, too often, turn our faces away.

The individuals who make up the component parts of this devilry may believe that they act out of good intentions, but the sum of those parts empowers an evil system of racism, corruption, and violence. It is an evil that is largely driven by a lust for absolute political power and complete control over the individual. The modern world has seen this storm before and we ignore it to our great peril.

This plague on our society has pushed us to many forms of mass hysteria:

  • We shun those who do not comply with outrageous and unconstitutional mandates.
  • We blindly believe government officials and their allies in the media, though they have proven time and again that they lie and should not be trusted.
  • We’re emptying our jails of violent offenders while imprisoning law-abiding citizens -- sometimes for simply exercising their rights.
  • We’re taking political prisoners like any third-world dictatorship.
  • We allow our cities to be torched and looted with few repercussions.
  • We’re tearing down our history, our culture, and our traditions in the name of progressivism.
  • We invite seemingly anyone who wants to enter the country illegally to take our jobs, receive public services, and drag down wages.
  • Our national debt reaches into the stratosphere while politicians go whistling past the graveyard.
  • We abort the innocent and defenseless while vigorously defending the guiltiest among us.
  • We scare our children into radicalism with tales of impending doom due to climate changes that are as old as the earth.
  • We’re wrecking entire industries to “protect the earth” while propping up those same endeavors for our enemies.
  • We deny biological realities and allow men to use women’s facilities and participate in women’s activities, provided that they “self-identify” as women.
  • We subject the military to ideological litmus tests.
  • We fraudulently change election results while casting those who push for transparency as “conspiracy advocates” and add their names to a list of domestic terrorists.
  • We allow the government to censor those who oppose the lunacy that passes for public policy.
  • We teach dependency and hatred at many school districts across the country, and within our colleges and universities.
  • We accuse, disarm, and punish the law-abiding while acquitting the guilty.

This is the short list of our collective insanity. We deny science in the name of science. We obfuscate truth for the purpose of compliance, conformity, and profit. We have forsaken the Constitution to silence and disarm our population. We deny God and accommodate evil.

This darkness will continue to spread until people inside the government are willing to identify and confront it. There are a few brave souls who are standing against the madness but most still shrink from that responsibility. If they do not act, this burden will eventually fall to the American people but by that time, and at immense cost to all, the world’s great experiment in freedom and self-government will likely be teetering on the brink of extinction.

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” -- Edmund Burke

Defector Provides Evidence That the Chinese Military Orchestrated the Creation of COVID-19 and Lab Leak

Article by Jennifer Van Laar in RedState

Defector Provides Evidence That the Chinese Military Orchestrated the Creation of COVID-19 and Lab Leak

One week ago we reported that a man believed to be the highest-ranking Chinese defector ever was working with the Defense Intelligence Agency and that he had direct knowledge of special weapons programs in China, including bioweapons programs. We also reported that the defector provided an extensive, technically detailed debrief to US officials, that the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) was able to corroborate very technical details of the information provided, and that in DIA’s assessment, the information provided by the defector is legitimate.

RedState has now learned some details of the information provided by the defector, including that he provided data proving that SARS-CoV-2 was manmade and leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, in addition to evidence confirming that the People’s Liberation Army managed the Wuhan program (and others), as Chinese virologist Yan Li-Meng told the FBI last year.

Technical details provided by the defector, RedState is told, were given to scientists (who were not told how that information was given to the government) who then re-analyzed data from published sources in conjunction with the new data and concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was engineered. And, the defector was able to confirm numerous non-public details Yan provided the US government.

Pause for a moment and consider this. Our government now has additional evidence that a virus that killed 600,000 Americans, sickened millions more, nearly destroyed our economy, and inflicted untold collateral damage, was a bioweapon created by the Chinese military and deliberately released.

I say “additional” evidence because the FBI has had some of this evidence for more than a year and the person who brought it forward has only been subjected to a thorough smear campaign for her efforts – which is highly relevant when attempting to understand the newest defector’s actions.

As reported in my original story about the defector, sources told RedState that the FBI, the State Department, and CIA were intentionally kept in the dark about the fact that the defector was working with the DIA. Many in the intelligence community were highly skeptical of that claim for logistical reasons (i.e., China obviously knew the guy was gone as soon as he was gone, and any assets/spies within our foreign government also knew, so how could they keep his location a secret for so long?), but the fact that the FBI had a lot of this information from Yan for more than a year and nothing to investigate or validate it makes it easy to understand why this defector wanted nothing to do with the CIA or, especially, the FBI.

Also, a separate source confirmed to RedState that several members of Congress who have been working on investigating the virus’ origin have been briefed on many of DIA’s findings, including Rep. Matt Gaetz. That explains Gaetz’s grilling of FBI Director Christopher Wray Thursday on Capitol Hill.

Gaetz laid out the thumbnail of Yan’s story to Wray and low-key accused the FBI of being part of the coronavirus origin coverup because they did not attempt to verify the scientific or intelligence information she provided, and they did not prevent the massive effort to discredit Yan undertaken by both the Chinese government, the United States media, and “scientists” like Dr. Peter Daszak. (They may have even been part of that effort.) He said (not in this order):

“On April 28th, Dr. Yan Li-Meng landed at LAX. One of your agents interviewed her at that time. She then traveled to New York. Your agent from Los Angeles followed her to New York and sought an interview on both the 1st of May and the 2nd of May in 2020. The FBI took Dr. Yan’s phone on which she showed evidence of WeChat communications between herself and the director of the CDC in Beijing dating back to December 2019 regarding the Chinese military’s involvement in the development of the virus and specific links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“It is hard to believe that the FBI did not believe Dr. Yan was credible or significant, because she lands on April 28th. Your agent, Dana Murphy, takes her phone that day. I am holding the receipt from when you got the phone that had the WeChat messages that had very important information regarding Beijing and the Chinese Communist Party. It is not every day an FBI agent flies from Los Angeles to New York to follow a Chinese doctor who is a whistleblower and a fact witness. Even if Dr. Yan’s technical analysis of the virus is incorrect, the fact that she showed up saying she wanted to provide information and tell the truth seems significant.

“On October 14th, 2020, FBI agent Andrew Zitman [sp] brought a scientist who was working with FBI to meet with Dr. Yan in New York. They met for nearly six hours.”

Gaetz asked Wray:

  • “When did you become aware of your agency’s interface with Dr. Yan? When did you review those [WeChat] messages?”
  • “Can you tell us anything about that [Oct. 14] meeting and what it tells us about the origins of this virus?”
  • “Will you provide to this committee any scientific analysis that the FBI has done regarding Dr. Yan’s claims and regarding messages she provided to you regarding Beijing’s knowledge of the origins of this virus, and the military’s involvement, and even efforts to try to present to the world a fake genome sequence at the beginning of these developments?”

Wray’s answer to each was essentially that he can’t comment on ongoing investigations and some things might be classified.

Gaetz also mentioned that from that the moment Yan made the “pronouncements” about the Chinese military’s involvement people were trying to discredit her and asked if the FBI was able to determine whether that was part of a counterintelligence campaign by the Chinese government. No answer there, either.

Tellingly, Wray repeatedly said he knew what Gaetz was referring to in his statements. Could he have been referring to the fact that Yan wrote in her papers that the double CGG amino acid sequence was the smoking gun evidence showing that SARS-CoV-2 was an engineered virus (since that sequence hasn’t ever occurred naturally) and was dismissed, but a Wall Street Journal opinion piece published just this week by a Stanford virologist agreed and found that Beijing omitted that sequence from the genome it provided the world at the beginning of the outbreak?

And just how was it that Yan’s information was able to be so effectively dismissed? As we’ve covered over the last few weeks, EcoHealth Alliance’s Peter Daszak strongarmed other researchers into writing pieces in influential journals, like Lancet and Nature, dismissing the theory, and specifically dismissing Yan’s claims. Those pieces were used by Science Feedback, Facebook’s fact-checker, to deplatform news organizations who shared the information and wouldn’t take it down and to shut down the accounts of individuals who shared the information. News organizations couldn’t even report about Yan’s appearance on Tucker Carlson without being censored by big tech.

But back to Wray. The kicker is the ending to his answer regarding the information gleaned from the October 14 meeting:

“There are differences of view within the intelligence community about the origins of the coronavirus and so forth, and we are taking a deeper dive on the subject.”

A deeper dive? Just now? Not when you got the intel over a year ago? As Gaetz said, you can’t say that you didn’t find Yan at least somewhat credible, and since she was at the very least a fact witness it made sense to fully investigate what she said. If she wasn’t credible that would be learned in quick order. Also, if the FBI took a woman’s phone filled with a lot of information that can get a lot of people killed, did nothing to investigate her claims, and participated in a smear campaign designed to get the world to ignore her, that would look a lot like they were in on the scam.

Is it any wonder that the entire Democrat/Media Complex is trying to destroy Matt Gaetz? Think about when the questions into his supposedly improper relationships with females started flooding the airwaves and which government organization is “investigating” Gaetz. I’m sure it’s all just a big coincidence and not an attempt to silence or intimidate Gaetz.

A lot of bureaucrats in the federal government are justifiably panicking right now, not knowing what other information is going to come to light to show just who knew what, when.

Watch Gaetz’s questioning of Wray below.

Going to War Against Critical Race Theory In Education, Demolishing Leftist Narratives in the Process

Brandon Morse reporting for RedState

Critical race theory (CRT) has become one of the largest concerns in America as various groups attempt to make it a required part of professional and educational life. CRT is the idea that America is, at its foundation, a racist country that continues to allow white people to benefit from the continued practice of discrimination and prejudice today. It advocates a form of original sin for white people and a perpetual status of victimhood for minorities, especially black people.

The bottom line is, it teaches racism, bigotry, hate, and dependence, and the war against CRT has begun, and one Florida mother is on the front lines, tearing it apart. While the left would love to write this opposition off as an attempt by white people to hold onto power, but Quisha King is a black woman, and she has some things to say about CRT that everyone needs to hear.

Representing the group Moms for Liberty, King demolished CRT and the obvious division of race it’s attempting to push on the population.

“Just coming off of May 31st, marking the 100 years of the Tulsa riots, it is sad that we are even contemplating something like critical race theory, where children will be separated by their skin color and deemed permanently oppressors or oppressed in 2021,” she said.

King then immediately checked one of the aspects of the left’s arguments that they haven’t yet considered.

“That is not teaching the truth unless you believe that whites are better than blacks,” she added.

King explained that what CRT really is isn’t the education of oppression of black people in American history but that a hierarchy exists within America that lists groups as evil, namely the white, heterosexual, able-bodied male and puts them in the status of oppressor and everyone else as “oppressed.”

“I don’t know about you, but telling my child or any child that they are in a permanent oppressed status in America because they are black is racist, and saying that white people are automatically above me, my children or any child is racist as well,” she said.

King said that we can’t allow this kind of thinking in our country after we’ve spent so long fighting and dying for the exact opposite of what CRT is trying to accomplish.

“Our ancestors, white, black, and others hung, bled, and died right alongside each other to push America towards that more perfect union,” said King. “If this continues, we will look back and be responsible for the dismantling of the greatest country in the world by reverting to teaching hate and that race is a determining factor on where your destiny lies.”

As Alex Parker reported earlier today, Critical Race Theory has been banned as a curriculum option in the state of Florida.

This makes it one of four states that have done so, including Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Idaho. Texas has banned schools from requiring teachers to teach it to students. Many more states are considering legislation or working on passing it.

King wouldn’t be the first black woman to speak out against CRT either. As Kira Davis wrote, another black mother also gave a fiery speech denouncing the practice in Loudoun County, Virginia. If Democrats were hoping they could write this off as resistance by whites attempting to keep the status quo in what they think is the American system, then they’re wrong.

As it turns out, no matter what race you are, many parents don’t want their child growing up believing in hate, nor the idea that they are worse than someone else because of their skin color, and as King pointed out, that’s exactly what CRT does.

Joe Manchin Is Driving His Own Party Insane

 Bonchie reporting for RedState

The procedures of the Senate may be complicated, but the politics really aren’t. Democrats are learning that the hard way as a throwback senator from West Virginia continues to stand in the way of their grand plans.

Sen. Joe Manchin has not only steadfastly refused to blow up the filibuster, but now he’s also refusing to even vote for the election security killing For the People Act.

As my colleague Streiff shared this morning, the failure is the point for some in Democrat leadership. Chuck Schumer has been around the block long enough to understand that blowing up the filibuster would be a disaster for his party long-term. He also knows that’s there are more Democrats aside from Manchin who have no interest in doing so. Failing dramatically while having a scape-goat lined up is Schumer’s best play because it keeps the Democrat base riled up for future elections.

The problem for Democrats is that they have a growing majority within their ranks who have no interest in being smart. Thus, you get hysteria like this on a now daily basis.

Someone clearly didn’t take any lessons in the art of persuasion, right? Aside from sharing the ridiculous contention that the For the People Act is a barometer on how much someone is “for America,” Harrison’s nonsensical rant is sure to only push Manchin further away

The real question is how long Manchin is willing to play his role. It’s one thing to take the fall for Chucker Schumer in the Senate over the filibuster. It’s another to be called a racist, America-hating bigot over and over by your own party every single day. Manchin’s political future is already tenuous. He only won his last election by three percent, a sharp drop-off from his prior victories. Any continued regression and he’s toast. He has to be feeling that reality in conjunction with the intense hatred his supposed allies have for him.

Does Manchin continue to be a good soldier? Or is there a breaking point we just haven’t reached yet? Democrats have absolutely lost their minds over Manchin’s obstruction of their far-left agenda, moving to open warfare against a senator in their own party. That doesn’t seem sustainable to me. Manchin has to know he’s going to lose his next election if this keeps up. He can continue to play the sucker, or he can save his career by telling his left-wing detractors to jump in a lake by switching parties. What’s it going to be?
