I can’t believe people were worried that Joe Biden was going to drag us into war with Russia over Ukraine. This is Joseph Robinette Biden we’re talking about. He’s America’s Neville Chamberlain. Why would Neville Robinette Chamberlain drag us into war when surrender and appeasement are more his style?
I saw Tucker Carlson’s monologue from the other night where he warned that the warmongers controlling the demented old American Chamberlain could convince him to take military action against Russia, and I’ll admit, Tucker had some good points.
But after what happened in Afghanistan, not to mention Biden caving to Putin over the summer, I figured it was more likely Neville Robinette Chamberlain was going to find a way to screw Ukraine big time and surrender even more to Putin.
And it looks like I might be onto something.
I just saw an article from the Associated Press that says, and I quote:
Administration officials have suggested that the U.S. will press Ukraine to formally cede a measure of autonomy to eastern Ukrainian lands now controlled by Russia-backed separatists who rose up against Kyiv in 2014.
Even though I suspected something like this was in the works, my jaw dropped into my lap when I read that.
On Tuesday, the satire site The Babylon Bee ran a “story” with the headline “Biden Warns Russia That If They Invade Ukraine, America Will Evacuate Haphazardly And Leave $86 Billion In Weapons Behind.”
Leave it to the Neville Robinette Chamberlain administration to think of something even worse than a parody.
The AP article bemoans the “challenges” facing President Chamberlain in this conflict, like Ukraine wanting to join NATO and Putin wanting Biden to stop that from happening.
But that isn’t the only “challenge” the AP brings up:
For Biden, the challenge will be encouraging Kyiv to accept some of the facts on the ground in eastern Ukraine, without appearing to cave to Putin — a perception that could embolden the Russian leader and unleash a fresh line of condemnations by Republicans as Biden’s popularity is already in decline.
Ah, yes. Of course. The “challenge” is surrendering to Putin without giving the appearance of surrendering to Putin so he can avoid the Republicans “pouncing” on his surrender to Putin.
Let me bottom-line it for you.
Joe Biden is willing to avoid war by surrendering a portion of Ukraine’s territory to Putin in hopes Putin will be a good boy and not try any other funny business.
How’d that work out when Neville Chamberlain tried that with Hitler in 1938? He appeased Hitler, handed him the Sudetenland by forcing the Czech government to surrender it to Germany, all the while believing that Hitler would stop his aggression there. Yeah, it didn’t work. Hitler took all of Czechoslovakia, not just Sudetenland. Then he just kept invading.
Is Biden planning to screw Ukraine the way Neville Chamberlain screwed Czechoslovakia?
If this AP article is right, yeah, he just might.
Does this mean Biden won’t drag us into war with Russia anyway?
Honestly, after Afghanistan, I couldn’t even hazard a guess what this administration would do next.
One thing is certain. Neville Chamberlain may have been a naïve appeaser, but at least he had complete control of his mental faculties.
The same can’t be said for Neville Robinette Chamberlain.
