I know math can be hard for many of us – even those not suffering from dementia. But how exactly did Joe Biden come up with zero dollars as the cost of the $3.5 trillion boondoggle Democrats want to ram down our throats?
Really?
Did Joe find $3.5 trillion tucked between the sofa cushions in the Oval Office?
Then, in the same tweet, he says it won’t add $3.5 trillion to the national debt because the tax increases in the bill will allegedly “pay” for it.
So which is it? Is it that it will cost zero dollars? Or is it that it won’t add to the national debt?
Now, the first sentence is insane. The last sentence is illogical.
To believe that Congress can pass a $3.5 trillion spending bill and nothing will be added to the debt beggars belief.
Nobody is this stupid.
Okay, some people are this stupid. How else could Joe Biden become the President of the United States?
Here’s what will happen if, God forbid, this pile of garbage passes.
Before Joe Biden even signs it into law, every billionaire whom Joe plans to tax to death to “pay” for this boondoggle will have already made the necessary arrangements to shelter their wealth far from taxing eyes.
They’ve got a zillion ways to avoid paying taxes; and they will deploy every single one of them.
The money Joe is counting on to fund his “Build Back Better” agenda will dry up before he can say “Trunalimunumaprzure.” And either they’ll have to rely on deficit spending and add to the national debt, or they’ll have to start taxing everybody else.
“Build Back Better.” Man, that slogan irritates the crap out of me.
More like “Fuck Up Faster.”
Sure, Joe promised that he wouldn’t raise taxes on anyone making less than $400K.
“My word as a Biden.”
Yeah, we know what your word as a Biden is worth. It’s about zero dollars.
That’s the funny thing about Democrats. They have a blind spot when it comes to real life.
They actually believe “the rich” will just stand still and accept being forced to pay “their share in taxes” — as if they don’t already.
But, as Newton’s Third Law tells us, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. It’s science.
When government taxes the living crap out of “the rich,” “the rich” react by sheltering their money where government can’t get to it.
Corporations and businesses don’t just stand still either.
They push back by raising prices on consumers.
But this, for some odd reason, comes as a surprise to the dopes in this administration.
Yeah, but the American people aren’t going to be pissed off by the companies who raise their prices, Jen you ignorant slut; they’re going to get pissed off with the Democrats for forcing through the unsustainable spending bill that caused the problem in the first place.
Because most Americans understand the science of cause and effect.
And let’s just play along with President Stupid for a moment. Let’s pretend this $3.5 trillion spending bill will add zero dollars to the national debt.
Americans are still going to pay a steep price if this bill becomes law.
We’ll be paying more to heat our homes, to fill our gas tanks, to run electricity. Our grocery prices will go up. The cost of “green compliant homes” will price even more Americans out of the housing market. Automobiles, clothing, household items – there won’t be a single thing that won’t get more expensive.
There is absolutely no way in hell Americans won’t get stuck paying more.
And here’s a little secret. Most Americans don’t give the national debt a moment’s thought. Not smart of them to be sure, because one day the bill will come due, and when that happens, hoo-boy are we screwed. But the fact is, most Americans don’t think about it at all.
But they care about their own debt, their own expenses, and the cost of the things they buy. And this bill is going bite them so hard in the ass they won’t know what hit them.
In reality though, this $3.5 trillion sack of crap will add a hell of a lot more than zero dollars to the national debt. Because, at the end of the day, there aren’t enough billionaires in the world to keep this boondoggle funded decade after decade after decade. Eventually the “rich” that we do have will be the ones with zero dollars.
Because as Margaret Thatcher famously said:
