This morning I was watching the clips from last night’s Gutfeld!, and they were discussing how the Biden Administration is taking us back to the bad old days of the 70s. Which, as you recall, I mentioned on Monday. Anyroad. One of the guests referred to the Biden Administration as That 70s Show — which I found too good to pass up.
Though, admittedly, there aren’t a lot of laughs in this version of That 70s Show. In fact, the only person who will find it funny is that cackling hyena Kamala. Then again, she finds the crisis at the border a laugh riot.
Here’s the segment from last night’s Gutfeld!
Over the weekend, Donald Trump Junior tweeted that Biden isn’t the next FDR, but the next Carter.
Naturally Twitter did its best to obscure the rather obvious point Don Junior was making by running an editorial note in their “trending” sidebar that read:
“People are confused by a Tweet from Donald Trump Jr, saying that President Biden ‘isn’t the next FDR he’s the next Jimmy Carter,’ given that former president Carter is a Nobel Peace Prize winner whose humanitarian record is largely respected.”
Really Twitter? Is that all Jimmy Carter is known for?
You’d either have to be idiot or someone too young to remember the 70s to fall for this stupid editorial note.
Speaking of idiots. In his article about this non-story, Huffington Post “reporter” David Moye wrote, no doubt with a straight face:
Donald Trump Jr. attempted to insult President Joe Biden on Friday by comparing him to former Democratic President Jimmy Carter.
He didn’t “attempt” to insult him; he succeeded in insulting him, you dimwitted clown.
And, to paraphrase every single Scooby-Doo villain, he “would’ve gotten away with it if it hadn’t been for that meddling social media platform.”
He did get away with it! Just because Twitter and the anti-Trump Leftists who haunt the place pretended to not know what he meant doesn’t mean normal human beings didn’t understand what he was saying.
Everyone who isn’t a mouth-breathing quarter wit knew exactly what Don Junior meant. Thanks to Biden’s bungling, we are going back to the Carter years of the 70s.
This isn’t hard.
How does David Moye manage to get through a day without a cartoon anvil dropping on his head?
I looked up this David Moye, and he’s been a “journalist” for 20 years. Does he know nothing about the Carter years and the economic malaise of the 70s?
I get it. I do. American reporters are young and dumb. I doubt there are many of them that were even alive in the 70s.
But I wasn’t alive during The Great Depression but I still know what happened.
Moye, like Twitter, is being deliberately obtuse in order to deflect attention from rising inflation, exploding consumer prices, and, of course, the 70s style gas lines.
How much worse do things have to get before the corporate news media stops coddling Biden like a baby bird and starts hammering him for dragging the country into the shitter?
I’m afraid they’ll let it get monstrously bad before they even consider calling this feckless administration to task.
