Well, now we know why the Bidens took off for Delaware over the weekend. Turns out that lovable scamp Major is in the doghouse for “ongoing aggressive behavior” that culminated in what the New York Times calls a “biting incident.”
Major apparently decided to chomp on a member of White House Security.
I wonder if that pet psychic saw this coming.
According to the New York Times, at the time he was adopted, “Major underwent ‘special training’ to become acclimated to the Biden household.” Well, apparently that special training included aggressive, inappropriate physical contact.
And while that kind of inappropriate contact would certainly acclimate him to a life with Joe, it doesn’t work well within the White House.
Now, as a longtime dog owner, I can tell you that dogs often take on the personality of their owners – even without “special training.”
Ah, yes. I can see where Major picked up that nasty habit.
Perhaps the Bidens should change his name from Major to Cujo – or Cu-Joe.
I confess this story makes me chuckle.
After all the slobbering press coverage the Biden dogs received – even holding their own “indoguration” — having them turned out of the White House for aggressive behavior and biting is all kinds of entertaining.
The media portrayed them as lovable pups who make the new Administration look more relatable and down-to-earth. But the reality doesn’t match the media hype. That damn Major – “special training” notwithstanding — is so out of control he’s lunging, attacking and even biting anyone who crosses his path.
Seems almost allegorical if you get my meaning.
The Biden dogs, much like their owner, were built up to be one thing only to have reality crash the party.
Meanwhile, their hapless pap continues his ongoing battle with the English language.
And language is still winning.
Check out this screen grab from the end of that clip:
The exasperation and frustration is absolutely crawling all over his face.
I think at this point, even Joe knows it won’t be long before he joins Major and Champ in exile in the basement in Delaware.
