Ford, Bush presidential adviser Brent Scowcroft dies at 95

Ford, Bush presidential adviser Brent Scowcroft dies at 95

Brent Scowcroft, who played a prominent role in American foreign policy as national security adviser to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush and was a Republican voice against the 2003 invasion of Iraq, has died, a Bush spokesperson said Friday. He was 95.

Scowcroft died Thursday of natural causes at his home in Falls Church, Va., spokesman Jim McGrath said.

Scowcroft was the only person to serve as national security adviser to two different administrations. His appointment by Ford in 1975 came as Scowcroft retired from the Air Force with the rank of lieutenant general. He advised Bush, by then a close friend, during the four years of the Bush administration, 1989-93.

In a study of Scowcroft’s career, historian David F. Schmitz noted that Scowcroft had been at the center of numerous post-Vietnam War discussions of American foreign policy. He was part of the presidential administrations that grappled with U.S. responses to the collapse of communism in Europe, the crackdown in China after the Tiananmen Square protests, and Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait and the subsequent Gulf War.

“The key tenets of his thinking, shaped by the Second World War, were that national security policy had to protect the nation from aggression, provide international stability, control arms while maintaining preparedness, and shape an international environment that was conducive to America’s goals and needs,” Schmitz wrote.

Described as both gentle and tough, a brilliant coordinator most concerned with results, a tireless worker used to 18-hour days, Scowcroft offered a self-assessment to The Washington Post on the eve of the George H.W. Bush administration: “I don’t have a quick, innovative mind. I don’t automatically think of good, new ideas. What I do better is pick out good ideas from bad ideas. ... It is comforting to be doing things that make a difference. In the end, it’s the job that’s more important.”

Scowcroft was born March 19, 1925, in Ogden, Utah, where his father owned a wholesale grocery business. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1947 and then joined the Army Air Corps, which soon became the Air Force. Only a few months after completing pilot training, he broke his back in the crash of an F-51, which put him in the hospital for two years.

Refocusing his military career on strategy and planning, Scowcroft earned a master’s degree at Columbia University in 1953 and then taught Russian history at West Point. In 1957, he began studying at the Strategic Intelligence School in Washington. Two years later, he was an assistant air attaché in the American Embassy in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, then taught political science at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Scowcroft was assigned to Air Force headquarters and the Defense Department during the 1960s and earned a doctorate in international relations from Columbia in 1967. He was appointed military assistant to President Richard Nixon in 1972. A year later he became deputy assistant for national security under Henry Kissinger, Nixon’s national security adviser.

After leaving the White House with the election of Democrat Jimmy Carter in 1976, Scowcroft set up a consulting firm serving international businesses and eventually joined Kissinger in creating Kissinger Associates, a consulting firm with similar goals.

Scowcroft served on Carter’s advisory committee on arms control and was chairman of President Ronald Reagan’s Commission on Strategic Forces, which focused on the effort to modernize U.S. nuclear weapons. He also served on the three-member Tower Commission, which investigated the arms-for-hostages affair that occurred during the Reagan administration.

Scowcroft had been a close friend of George H.W. Bush since they had served together in the Nixon administration. With Bush’s election in 1988, Scowcroft was interested in leading the Pentagon as defense secretary during the Bush administration. He accepted a return engagement as national security adviser when he realized he would be at the president’s side instead of running the massive bureaucracy at the Defense Department.

After Bush lost his reelection bid to Democrat Bill Clinton in 1992, Scowcroft returned to consulting. He co-wrote with Bush a book about the Cold War, “A World Transformed,” published in 1998, and with Carter national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski the book “America and the World: Conversations on the Future of American Foreign Policy” in 2008.

In 2002, Scowcroft angered the White House of his friend’s son, President George W. Bush, when he publicly expressed the view that little evidence tied Saddam Hussein to terrorist organizations and warned that war with Iraq could damage if not destroy U.S. alliances in the region.

In a column for The Wall Street Journal, Scowcroft wrote: “The central point is that any campaign against Iraq, whatever the strategy, cost and risks, is certain to divert us for some indefinite period from our war on terrorism. Worse, there is a virtual consensus in the world against an attack on Iraq at this time. So long as that sentiment persists, it would require the U.S. to pursue a virtual go-it-alone strategy against Iraq, making any military operations correspondingly more difficult and expensive.”

Given his relationship with the Bush family, Scowcroft’s criticism of the administration carried particular weight. “I thought they were rushing to judgment and making a serious mistake,” Scowcroft recalled during an interview with the West Point Center for Oral History. His concerns, made privately before he spoke out publicly, were “pretty much rejected” by the younger Bush’s White House, he said.

President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, said in a statement Friday that they were saddened to learn of Scowcroft's death.

“This patriot had a long career of distinguished service to our country. As a retired Air Force general, he gave sound and thoughtful advice to several presidents. He was an especially important advisor to my father — and an important friend,” Bush said.

The current national security adviser, Robert O'Brien, said he had long admired Scowcroft and made it his goal to follow the "Scowcroft Model” while serving President Donald Trump.

“General Scowcroft set the standard for effective leadership and defined the modern role of the NSA, acting as an ‘honest broker’ by moving to the President’s desk well-vetted and thoroughly debated policy options and advice for his consideration,” O'Brien said in a statement.

Scowcroft married Marian Horner in 1951; she died in 1995. He is survived by a daughter, Karen, and a grandaughter. Meghan.

Kerala plane crash: 16 dead after Air India plane breaks in two at Calicut

An Air India Express plane with 191 people on board has crashed at an airport in the southern state of Kerala, killing at least 16 people, officials say.
The aircraft, en route from Dubai, skidded off the runway and broke in two at Calicut airport upon landing, India's aviation authority said.
Rescue efforts are under way, with emergency services at the scene.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was "pained by the plane accident".
MK Raghavan, a lawmaker from Calicut, told the BBC at least 16 people died in the crash.
Most people on board the Boeing 737 jet have been evacuated, with dozens of them taken to hospital with injuries, some serious, authorities said.
"We have at least 89 people, many of them with serious injuries, admitted at different Kozhikode hospitals. The ambulances are still coming in," a senior police official, Sujith Das, told AFP news agency.

The airline said there were 184 passengers, including 10 children, and seven crew members on board flight IX-1344 when it crashed in rainy conditions at Calicut, also known as Kozhikode.
The flight was being operated by the government to repatriate Indians stuck overseas during the coronavirus crisis.

What do we know about the crash?

The plane attempted to land just before 20:00 local time (15:30 BST) on Friday, as heavy monsoon-season rainfall lashed Kerala.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the plane fell into a valley and broke in two after skidding off the end of the runway. No fire was reported at the time of landing, the aviation regulator said.
In a tweet India's Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, said the aircraft "overshot the runway in rainy conditions", then plunged down a 35ft (10.6m) slope, before breaking in two.
He said a formal inquiry would be carried out by India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).

Images broadcast by Indian media show the aircraft broken in two pieces at the bottom of the slope, with people searching through the wreckage.
The aircraft circled the airport several times and made two attempts to land, NDTV reported, citing flight-tracking data.
At the time of the plane's descent, Kerala was being battered by heavy rains, which are usual in India at this time of year, due to the seasonal monsoon.
Earlier on Friday, dozens of people were feared dead in Kerala's Idukki district after monsoon-season floods triggered a landslide

Considering the Durham Timeline

There’s a lot of debate about the timeline for John Durham’s investigation and when the information will likely become public. Toward that end here’s some food for thought.

First, *if* the “criminal investigation” (as confirmed officially by DOJ spox) resulted in evidence that would push toward a grand jury seating, it must be remembered that could not have started until after June 15, 2020:

The entire DC justice system was frozen in place until after June 15. Now considering a time-frame for typical GJ seating and processing, that would put evidence into the GJ around, say June 20th.

Now take a typical DC grand jury timeline of 5 weeks (Wolfe case May 3rd through June 7th); and contrast that against the complexity of the Durham inquiry (twice duration); and consider recent reports that investigators have only just reached principals (Brennan); then an approximate timeline would be two months +/-.

That puts a seated grand jury for Durham’s purpose around June 20th through Mid-August.
Coincidentally, when we first discovered the totality of the background corruption story back in the third quarter of 2018, the targeted date for a determination of whether the DOJ was willing to address the scale of the internal corruption issues was mid-August.

Absent action by the DOJ to address the most explosive evidence that outlines the totality of fraud upon American voters by the corrupt DOJ and FBI interests; CTH began compiling all the data into a comprehensive brief on a specific aspect that cuts directly to the heart of the issues.

For the past month, all in phase-one, I have been sharing the contents of that evidence with anyone who can make a substantive difference. I have traveled to several states and briefed staff, principals and some select media. Every person briefed is stunned by the specific evidence compiled and how the dots were never connected; nothing is refuted.

Phase two is making that briefing material well known to everyone.  That material reconciles everything that took place in 2017, 2018 and 2019.  Most long-time CTH readers are already familiar with it…. however, the rest of the electorate are not.

Today someone all of us think has a very granular understanding reached out and discovered they only knew a small segment.  This is good, very good, because they will likely be the bridge to the phase-two delivery.  More conversations are planned.

Hopefully Mr XXXXX and Durham will deliver on behalf of AG Barr and the American people.  However, if they don’t address the dual justice system -mid August- then things will be even bigger and even uglier.

Think about the lessons inside the hidden details of the Wolfe case. Think about the ramifications to the Gang of Eight; to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; to the entire system of intelligence oversight; to the system of inspectors general in the intelligence community; to the separation of power dynamic; to checks and balances; to the entire purpose of the Mueller probe; to an internal coup to remove a sitting president by actions that touch all three branches of U.S. government;…and more importantly to the administration of justice…

Colorado Congressional Candidate Lauren Boebert Appears on Hannity

Lauren Boebert is a candidate for Colorado CD-03 and represents a voice of familiarity for those who remember the Tea Party movement.  An ordinary patriotic citizen who stands up and says “I’ll go”, and here she is.  [WEBSITE Available Here]

It takes courage to throw your hat into the ring and take action; but action is exactly what is most needed right now.  Our role is to support these citizen candidates with steadfast appreciation for their effort.

Senator Hawley Comes Closest.....

In the questioning of former DAG Sally Yates, only Senator Josh Hawley came close to identifying the edges of the issues with Yates responses. What we see from the overall questioning is what I shared with y’all last week.

The term “delicate balance” has been used so much it now generates a gag reflex. Every conversation begins with: “understanding all the issues are entwined in a precarious delicate balance”… and then the nudge-nudge, wink-wink, non verbal communication of interpreting between the lines starts. After a while of playing this game the frustration is enough to make you an expert at turning billiard ball into a stress ball. Annoying as heck.

When I share that most officials, staff and investigators are genuinely clueless, I do mean they are genuinely clueless. This includes FBI and Main Justice officials. Thus the important reason for actually getting on planes, meeting people, looking in their eyes, watching their inflection and seeing their responses.

I know the difference when a person is using the Mamet Principle and pretends not to know…. believe me, most of these people are genuinely clueless – they are not pretending. They are more concerned with who is getting the bigger muffin from the taxpayer provided snack bar. They care far less about what middle-America thinks about their lack of corrective action on corrupt issues they are comfortable working with/in/around all day. (more)

The issue(s) surround the aggregate investigation of candidate, president-elect and President Donald Trump.  Those who participated in the soft-coup and ongoing impeachment effort would like nothing more than to discuss all of the DOJ and FBI actions they took when faced with the possibility that Vladimir Putin had installed a Russian asset in the White House.

All of the outrage about lying to the president-elect; hiding information from the president-elect/President; planting spies in the White House; placing bugs and seeking wiretaps and surveillance on the administration etc.  All of what is known, and buckets more action that is unknown – all of which will stir up jaw-dropping outrage, is exactly the narrative that benefits the DOJ/FBI and intelligence group.

The group would love to stir up the outrage into a frothing boil of shock and awe only so they can openly admit everything, and say: “yeah, so what?”  “What we faced was unprecedented; remember, the Russians attempted to influence the election; there was evidence Trump was participating…. What else were we supposed to do?”  Etc.

The FBI, DOJ, ODNI, CIA and intelligence officials were intentionally not being direct and honest with President Trump and key members of his new administration. Obviously their lack of honesty was a serious issue, and in some cases had serious ramifications.  They were trapping President Trump inside the corrupt apparatus that they controlled.

The Mueller special counsel was the insurance policy.

The expressed finding by Robert Mueller’s two-year probe of ‘no Trump-Russia collusion, no Trump-Russia conspiracy, and no Trump-Russia obstruction’ has led to some hindsight reviews where anger surfaces about the now visible deception. However, there is a trap laid here and the resistance are hoping outraged voices will walk straight into it.

At 12:15pm on January 20th, 2017, Obama’s outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice wrote a memo-to-self. Many people have called this her “CYA” (cover your ass) memo, from the position that Susan Rice was protecting herself from consequences if the scheme against President Trump was discovered. Here’s the email:

This is a justification memo, written by an outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice to document why there have been multiple false and misleading statements given to the incoming President Trump and all of his officials.

This is not a “CYA” memo, this is a justification memo for use AFTER the Trump-Russia collusion/conspiracy narrative collapsed; if the impeachment effort failed.

The “By The Book” aspect refers to President Obama and Susan Rice being told by CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, that President Trump was the subject of an active counterintelligence investigation to determine if he was under the influence of the Russian government.

Even the timing of the memo, written 15 minutes prior to the end of the Obama administration, is ex-post-facto useful as evidence of the author’s intent.

Put aside the nonsense aspect to the origination of the investigation for a moment; that part doesn’t apply here…. Accept their position ‘as if’ it is substantive.

We are talking about Brennan, Comey, Clapper and Yates telling President Obama and NSA Susan Rice that President-elect Trump is under a counterintelligence investigation where the suspicion is that Donald J Trump is an agent of a foreign power.

Under that auspices (fraudulent though it may be) the incoming President is a counterintelligence investigation target. A potentially compromised Russian asset. Under this auspices all of the officials would be permitted to lie and mislead their target, so long as they did so “By The Book.”

That’s their justification for a lengthy series of lies and false statements.

That’s why FBI Director James Comey can lie to the President and tell him he’s not the target of the ongoing Russia investigation. That’s the justification for keeping the accusations inside the Steele Dossier (remember, the Dossier is evidence) from the President-elect. That’s the justification for all of the officials to lie to President Trump, and even mislead the media if needed.

The Susan Rice email is one big Justification Letter; setting the stage for all of the participants to have a plausible reason for lies to anyone and everyone.

Call out John Brennan for telling Harry Reid about the Steele Dossier during his gang-of-eight briefing, but not telling Go8 member Devin Nunes about it. Brennan escapes by saying Nunes was on the Trump transition team; and briefing a conflicted politician on the dossier would have compromised the FBI investigation. See how that works?

Call out James Comey for lying to President-elect Trump during the January 6th Trump Tower meeting…. Comey escapes by saying Trump was a target of the FBI investigation for potential compromise as a Russian asset; informing the target of the evidence against him would have compromised the investigation. See how that works?

Every lie, every omission, every false and/or misleading statement, must first be filtered through the “By The Book” prism of Trump being considered a Russian asset. This is the justification trap democrats are waiting to exploit for maximum damage and diminishment of counter attack.

The “By the Book” justification, where every action could have been taken because Trump might have been an actual Russian operative, is the weapon under the camouflage tarp as the radical left lures-in their political opposition. They shrug their shoulders and say in condescending voice: ‘well, we didn’t know; we had to be prudent‘, etc.

The ‘By-the-Book’ framework is based on a false-premise; but the action, just about any action, taken to mislead (even undermine) the incoming administration is excusable under this carefully crafted justification memo. That’s exactly why Susan Rice wrote it; and each of the participating members knows they can use it, when needed.

The way to get around the legal and political defense inside this justification memo is to ignore the activity of those protected by it and go directly to the origin of how they created that false premise in the first place.

In short, avoid the “justification trap” by ignoring the downstream activity (stemming as a result of the fraudulent origin), and focus on revealing the origin of the fraud.

The special counsel team authorized and released the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages to the public in December 2017.  It was a very smart Mueller team using a laser pointer to get their political opposition chasing remote controlled rabbits.  The special counsel team controlled the remote.

The special counsel team took control over and then filtered the FBI investigative file of FBI Washington Field Office Supervisory Special Agent, Brian Dugan.  The special counsel removed the evidence that James Wolfe leaked the FISA application on March 17th, 2017.
The special counsel team released the Adam Waldman text message capture to the SSCI as a head’s up after likely informing SSCI Vice-Chairman Mark Warner it was coming.  On February 9, 2018, Warner had his pre-scripted defense in place.  It appears Warner gave the Go8 the text documents knowing it would be leaked to media.  Smart maneuver.

The special counsel team informed the FISA court on July 12, 2018, the predicate for the Carter Page FISA application was still valid.  They lied.   They did this because they planned to release another segment of SSA Dugan’s file to the public to water down the issue.  Nine days after telling the FISC the application was valid, on July 21, 2018, the special counsel used the guise of a FOIA release to put the Dugan FISA equity into the public consciousness.  What we know as the Carter Page FISA application was/is actually SSA Dugan’s work product.  Again, this was from his investigative file.

The special counsel released Dugan’s work product (FBI equity), while simultaneously redacting the dates on the copy they released.  It was the special counsel who redacted the dates.  They had to do this because Dugan’s FISA copy had incorrect dates as seeded to capture the leak by SSCI Security Director James Wolfe.

Every public release of information from May 2017 through April 11, 2019, came from the special counsel.  Neither Main Justice (AG Sessions) nor the FBI (Wray) released anything.  The special counsel were releasing information in a controlled method and withholding other documents detrimental to their purpose of framing President Trump.

Richard Grenell Discusses Yates Testimony

Richard ‘Ric’ Grenell appears with Liz MacDonald to discuss yesterday’s testimony by former Deputy AG Sally Yates.  Notice in the Yates testimony she defends the NSD lawyers; that would be David Laufman and Michael Atkinson, both part of the coup.

Grenell points to Yates effort in setting up the ridiculous case against Michael Flynn vis-a-vis the definition of “sanctions”.   Grenell notes the issues with Yates and then shifts to the issues with Susan Rice and connects the dots to VP Biden and how the overall administration was weaponizing against the incoming Trump team.

“Maybe It's Time to Admit Joe Biden Doesn't Think Very Highly of Black People”

Left or right, liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat — we all have the tendency to dismiss a lot of problematic behavior from the politicians we support. It’s human nature, and sometimes it’s just willful ignorance. Whatever it is, it isn’t uncommon. We’ll let a lot slide in the name of an election. Also, we know these people aren’t always the smartest people in the room and they spend a lot of time each day talking. When you talk for a living, idiot things are bound to slip out once in a while. It’s a statistical fact.

So I’m willing to give a little leeway to some politicians, particularly in an election cycle. I’m no longer a Democrat voter and never will be but as a talker myself I understand that sometimes your mouth gets ahead of your brain. Whether it’s Obama saying he’s been to 57 states or Romney telling us about his binders full of women, I can accept that sometimes you just get tongue-tied in front of the world.

What I can no longer accept is that Joe Biden is just a sweet old man who gets his words awkwardly tangled up sometimes. As I age, my memory has become less reliable, but I’m not too old to remember nearly every lesson I was taught in school about facts, math, and research…look for the patterns. Eight years of Joe Biden as the Vice President and now over a year into his presidential run, the patterns of the Delaware Senator are too striking to ignore.

It is time to admit that Joe Biden doesn’t think very highly of Black people.
Just look.
I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.

And then there’s this:
Poor kids are just as smart as white kids.

But wait, there’s !
If you have a problem figuring out whether or not you’re voting for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black.

But wait…if you take advantage of this offer and call right now, you can get this bonus “Joe Says Offensive Things To Black Men Clip” for free!
“No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test?” Biden asked incredulously. “C’mon man. That’s like saying you – before you got in this program, if you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not. What do you think huh? Are you a junkie?”

Oh, you thought it was over? It’s never over, friends. . .

It is clear to me — and many others by now — that Biden is suffering some kind of cognitive breakdown. Whether it’s Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia, or simply old age, the pathways between Biden’s brain and mouth are degrading. That isn’t something to ridicule. It is the sad reality of living to an old age for many people. I don’t begrudge the former VP the occasional awkward expression.

But getting back to patterns — it seems to me that no matter what the state of his mental faculties is, we are seeing an undeniable pattern here. In fact, sometimes the degradation of those mental faculties comes with a decreased ability to censor oneself. The part of our brain that helps us adhere to social norms and appropriate public behavior no longer works, and what is in the heart comes gushing out the mouth.

It has become painfully obvious that in Joe Biden’s heart, he harbors a deep distaste for Black people. He no longer possesses the ability to self-censor and the problem is exacerbated by the fact that he is now required to be on the spot — alone — more and more each day. What ideas are left for him to grasp are those that have been so innate to him that they are now muscle memory, and unfortunately those ideas are clearly related to a disdain for Black America.

If I’m reading the patterns, I can easily surmise that Biden thinks most Black men are foul, uneducated, and “wiseguys” (a word he uses a lot for people who annoy him). He thinks all Black people are the same and think the same and want to hear the same thing. He thinks Democrats have a right to the Black vote by virtue of not being Republicans. He thinks of Black constituents as 100% poverty-stricken and in need of Democrat charity. He is offended by the notion that any Black man would intellectually challenge him in public.

It doesn’t take a genius — or even a Trump voter, for that matter — to read the Senator, here. It is understandable that in a contentious election cycle, people feel justified in overlooking the more disturbing aspects of a candidate’s character. Many 2016 Trump voters have been trying to explain this to the crowd who insults them as morons and demons for four years. If you want to ignore the obvious here in the name of ousting the Big Bad Orange Man, be my guest.

But we are all adults here. Let’s stop fooling ourselves about it. Joe Biden doesn’t care much for Black people and let’s not pretend Biden voters along with the rest of us can’t see that.

The jig is up, Cornpop!

Cheeky boar leaves nudist grunting in laptop chase

A nudist in Berlin got too close to nature for comfort when a wild boar snatched his plastic bag - which had his laptop inside.

The naked man gave chase to the boar and her two piglets - much to the amusement of fellow sunbathers.
Adele Landauer, an actor and life coach, took photos of the chase at Teufelssee - a popular bathing spot - and put them on Facebook.
"Nature strikes back!" she wrote, adding that the man laughed it all off.
"He gave it his all", with not a stitch on, she reported. "I then showed the photos to the man, he laughed soundly and authorised me to make them public."

'He was very focused'

Ms Landauer provided more details on her Instagram page, saying the incident was a good example of someone persevering to achieve their goal.
She said there were many nude sunbathers at the spot when the wild boars appeared.
While the man was bathing, she writes, the boars calmly ate a pizza from his backpack and then "they were looking for a dessert".
"They found this yellow bag and decided to take it away. But the man who owned it realized it was the bag with his laptop.
"So, he was very focused and run [sic] behind the boars in order to get it back."
The onlookers "adored him how focused he stayed and when he came back with his yellow bag in the hand we all clapped and congratulated him for his success".
There is a strong tradition of naturism in Germany, where in summer it is quite normal for people to strip off in parks. The back-to-nature movement is known as Freikörperkultur - "free body culture" - or FKK for short.
Wednesday's incident comes just days after a particularly bold urban fox in Berlin was found to have walked off with dozens of people's shoes, which they had unwisely left in their gardens.
In the coronavirus lockdown there were many reports of animals becoming more daring, taking advantage of empty public spaces. Wild boar have already made themselves at home in some Berlin suburbs.

Nashville COVID Compliance Force Arrests Black Man For Not Wearing a Mask Outside

Democrat Dictator/Mayor – Nashville COVID Compliance Force Arrests Black Man For Not Wearing a Mask Outside – Where is Black Lives Matter Now?

As you absorb just how far the communists running Nashville Tennessee have gone in this story, it is worth remembering this is the same city where people were picked up off the street and forced into involuntary internment/quarantine camps in May.  One man jumped the fence and escaped the detention camp. The Nashville police hunted him down and recaptured him.  [BACKSTORYThink about this people !!

In the latest development a non-domiciled Nashville citizen named Joseph Bryant (61) was arrested for refusing to wear a face mask outside.  His bail was set at $500.

Again… THINK ABOUT THISThis is Democrat Mayor John Cooper.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 61-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after police said he repeatedly violated a Nashville public health order requiring masks to be worn in public.
According to an arrest warrant, Metro police issued Joseph Bryant a citation just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Broadway for not wearing a mask, violating Metro Code 2.36.190, which states “it is unlawful for any person to violate an order of the board of health or of the chief medical director.”
The warrant states Bryant was spotted again just before 8 p.m. in the same area, committing the same violation, so rather than issue a state citation, an officer arrested him “due to the obvious likelihood the offense would continue.”
Bryant was booked into the Metro jail around 9 p.m. on a charge of county board of health regulation violation. His bond was set at $500. (read more)

As you can see from this example, the Tennessee Ministry of COVID Compliance cares about the health of its compliant citizens.  Authorities empowered by the Ministry will actively hunt down subversive citizens and forcibly detain them in the ongoing effort to build a new society where compliance will always provide the security you seek.

If wrong-thoughts or requests for arbitrary freedom continue to be expressed, it may become necessary for the Ministry to take enhanced enforcement action.  Please do not put the Ministry in the position of having to make such decisions. Compliance is in your best interest and re-education facilities are costly to maintain.

Relax comrades, the Ministry is sensitive to your previous rights as we initiate our new, safer, society.  The COVID Compliance Ministry appreciates good citizens who voluntarily participate in the rules of our new society. We will continue to reward good citizenship status with enhanced tax credits and social benefits allowing greater access to a safe COVID Compliant Society. A safer society; where the odds will always be in our favor.

A rogue citizen could put a compliant society at risk of infection. They may not just carry biologics they could carry a more alarming virus of wrong-thought against the interests of the state. Rogue citizens would be subversive to our new society.
Social Distancing or House Arrest…. Details, comrades,… details.

Beirut explosion: Lebanon's president doesn't rule out 'rocket or bomb' as possible cause

Lebanon's president has said an investigation into the Beirut explosion is exploring the possibility it was caused by "a rocket or a bomb".
Michel Aoun spoke on Friday after the number of victims in the explosion rose to 154, with another 5,000 people injured.

"There is a possibility of external interference through a rocket or bomb or other act."
International rescue teams are still searching the rubble of Beirut's port nearly three days after the explosion hit the city.
At least three more bodies were recovered in the 24 hours leading up to Friday morning, bringing the total to 149.
Lebanon's health minister later said at least 154 people had died in the blast on Tuesday.

French and Russian rescue teams with dogs were seen searching the port area on Friday.
Among those located in the rubble was Joe Akiki, a 23-year-old port worker who had been missing since the explosion.

Dozens of people are still missing.
Some 300,000 people, more than 12% of Beirut's population, are unable to return to their homes because of the explosion, which blew out doors and windows across the city and left many buildings uninhabitable.
Officials have estimated losses at $10bn to $15bn (£7.6bn to £11bn).

Comrade deBlasio Sets Up New York City Check-Point Charlie

Well, visits into NYC have just become a bit more covert… LOL.  Apparently Comrade Mayor Bill deBlasio is intent on surrounding New York City with transportation checkpoints to capture subversive citizens from freedom states before they can spread free thought amid the heavily controlled populace.

NEW YORK – Out-of-state travelers could face up to $10,000 in fines if they break New York City’s two-week quarantine rule and checkpoints will be set up at entry points into the city, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Wednesday.
Currently, travelers from 35 high-risk infection states and Puerto Ricomust quarantine for 14 days. Those flying into New York airports are also required to fill out a special travel form — or face a $2,000 fine.
The new crackdown includes random checkpoints at major bridge and tunnel crossings and up to $10,000 fines for those caught breaking quarantine. (read more)
