How unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats, corrupt politicians and a complicit media launched an information warfare operation on the duly-elected President of the United States.
Last night I watched the documentary The Plot Against the President based on the book of the same name by Lee Smith.
And watching this ninety minute documentary was an odd experience. I’ve never become blind with rage watching a film before.
The Plot Against the President chronicles the events that we now refer to as SpyGate, FISAGate and RussiaGate. It covers a lot of the ground we already know. But it does so in a way that gives the viewer a window into what went on behind the scenes – most notably how Congressman Devin Nunes worked to peel back the layers of the onion to reveal the intricate plot against the Trump campaign and the subsequently the Trump Administration.
It’s all in there – the set-up of Mike Flynn, the unmasking, the FISA abuse against Carter Page, the absurd “Steel Dossier” financed by the Clinton campaign and the DNC. From bad actors Comey, Brennan, Susan Rice, the odious Adam Schiff — and of course the cooperative activist news media – The Plot Against the President covers all of it.
You can see quite clearly how the spying operation morphed into a cover-up. And, worse, how the plot against the President was the cover-up – a multi-layered, sinister attempt to hide their dirty deeds by destroying the Trump Presidency through an information warfare operation commonly used by US Intelligence against foreign countries.
The Plot Against the President will infuriate you.
There’s something about seeing it all laid out step-by-step in one film that will push your blood pressure into the red zone.
It is well-produced and directed by Amanda Milius who uses visuals quite effectively.
For example, one of the shots used when they talk about the FBI’s involvement in this plot against the President is an exterior shot of the J. Edgar Hoover building in Washington. And mounted along the outside of the building are flags. And one of the American flags is off its track and, rather than waving majestically, is flapping untethered in the wind.
Boy, if ever there was a visual to drive home the point that the FBI and the DOJ had untethered the very foundations of our Republic, that was it.
Nothing is said of that visual. Nothing has to be. It speaks for itself.
The Plot Against the President mainly features Republican Congressman Devin Nunes and the two staffers who worked along with him to peel back the onion on SpyGate and FISAGate.
And because Nunes began looking into the genesis of this plot, the same information warfare tactics used in the plot against the President were turned on him.
Just writing about this is making me angry all over again.
The whole reason I waited until this morning to write this review was because immediately after watching this film, I was so infuriated I knew half my review would’ve consisted of curse words.
Now, some of you might be thinking, “Yeah, Dianny. I don’t need to see this because I’ve read the news stories, I know everything that went on.”
But seeing it all laid out in one film is very different; trust me.
Back when I was a kid, my step-father’s father was a magician. And in the basement of their house was his workshop with a long counter/cabinet that stored all of his magic tricks and props.
One time my brother and I were down in the basement playing and we decided to poke around and check out all the stuff he kept in this workshop.
Well, I found this small table he often used to perform some of his tricks. And I discovered a hidden trap door in the tabletop. Beneath it was a small black fabric bag from which he could retrieve a rabbit or a dove, or what-have-you.
Once I understood how that trick worked, I could never un-see it or un-know it. And I could spot exactly what he did and how he used it in his magic.
Seeing The Plot Against the President is much the same.
Once you see the workings of this information warfare operation, you will always see it. You will spot it a mile away.
And what they did to Trump is not in the past.
It is happening still.
Why do you think Lee Smith’s latest book is titled The Permanent Coup?
Whether it’s the Impeachment or COVID — the information warfare operations are still going on.
This is why Trump was absolutely correct when he said that they are exploiting COVID in the same way they did RussiaGate and the Shampeachment. It is just another information warfare operation against him – or, in his ham-handed way of describing is, another “hoax.”
When you watch this film, you won’t be able to un-see just how nefarious this permanent coup is.
Will The Plot Against the President make you see red? Yes. Absolutely.
But we can’t look away.
This isn’t just about Donald Trump. It’s about our nation as founded.
This is unelected bureaucrats, a complicit media, our law enforcement and intelligence apparatus, and corrupt politicians using information warfare to destabilize the nation and undermine the very bedrock of our Republic.
We are supposed to be a nation founded on the idea of self-government — where decisions over our lives are made only by those who are directly accountable to the people.
But that isn’t what we are today.
Today those who have no accountability to We the People are seeking to control our government.
You saw that in the bogus impeachment, remember? Unelected bureaucrats who believed that they, not the duly-elected President, should be determining US foreign policy.
But that is absolutely counter to our system of self-government.
This is exactly what the “Deep State” is — the unelected taking and wielding power that doesn’t belong to them. It belongs to those directly elected by and accountable to the people.
Okay, I’m getting angry again.
Anyroad.

I purchased it through Vimeo. But you can also rent it there if you prefer.
It’s worth it. Believe me. It is worth it.
