Short Bus Tim strikes again

Compared to Tim Kaine,
Joe Biden looks like a member of Mensa.

After the one and only VP debate of 2016, I began referring to Hillary’s running mate, Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia as Short Bus Tim.

I don’t know if you remember that debate.  But Short Bus Tim came off as a petulant, rude, childish buffoon.  Mike Pence, on the other hand, was calm, articulate and on-message – no matter how loudly or frequently Kaine interrupted him.

I have no earthly idea what possessed Hillary to choose this bellicose little clown for her running mate back in 2016.  But I feel confident in saying it was not because of his sparkling brilliance.

Now, that isn’t to say Short Bus Tim hasn’t any book learning.
He has a law degree from Harvard for crap’s sake.

Which only confirms my long-held belief that universities are garbage and we should bulldoze all of them to the ground and salt the earth.

The other day, this Harvard Law Grad claimed – from the floor of the US Senate – that “The United States didn’t inherit slavery from anybody. We created it.”

Finally! Pharaoh is off the hook! Take that, Moses!

And, said Short Bus Tim, “we created it and maintained it over centuries.”

The United States was founded in the late eighteenth century.  Slavery was abolished in the United States less than one hundred years later.  So how the hell could Short Bus Tim claim we “maintained it over centuries?” Maybe he doesn’t know how many years make up a century. Hey, it’s possible. Tim Kaine is so dumb he makes Joe Biden look like a member of Mensa.

This level of historical illiteracy coming from the floor of the “World’s Greatest Deliberative Body” isn’t just kooky; it’s dangerous and destructive.

Does Short Bus Tim actually believe the United States of America – a nation less than three hundred years old – created slavery?

My guess is, despite how congenitally stupid Tim Kaine is, he really doesn’t believe that.

But he knows that whole generations of Americans will buy this lie hook, line and sinker.

Why?  Because, as I’ve said countless times, History is the least taught subject in public schools.

The only way this kind of historical illiteracy can flourish is by ensuring that no American knows his own history, let alone the history of the world.

Slavery was a part of world civilization for millennia — the Macedonians, the Romans, the Egyptians, the Gauls, the Vikings, African tribes, South American tribes, need I go on?

For crying out loud, there are active slave markets in what was once Libya right now as I write this. And they didn’t get the idea from the United States.

But for the Democrats, it isn’t enough just to portray the United States of America as evil; it has to be seen as uniquely evil – a level of evil we have never seen before in the history of the world.

Remember last summer when Kamala Harris decided to pander to American Indians by claiming the United States stole land from Tribes?

Like Short Bus Tim and his “we created slavery” boloney, Kamala’s “we stole the land” is yet another example of portraying America as possessing a level of evil we have never before seen.

I wrote at the time of Kamala’s pandering:

Nations conquered indigenous people everywhere on this planet. It isn’t unique to the United States. Nor is it unique to the French, Spanish, Dutch and British who first colonized the Americas.

The Phoenicians (Lebanon and Syria) conquered North Africa and Southern Iberia (Spain). That’s why you can visit a Phoenician fortress in Malaga Spain. [I’ve been. It’s pretty awesome.]

The Macedonians conquered the Phoenicians.

And then there were the Romans who conquered pretty much everybody.

Those Romans went all the way up into the British Isles and conquered the indigenous peoples there (the Picts). You don’t find Roman ruins in Britain because the Brits bought them on Ebay for crap’s sake.

The first kings of England spoke French. Why? Because the French conquered England.

This is the history of the world.

And you know what all those conquering nations did?  They made slaves of the peoples they conquered.

But America invented slavery. Good grief.  Even for the “teach Americans to hate themselves” Left, that seems way over the top.

I mean, are there really Americans so congenitally stupid that they would believe Short Bus Tim?

Then again, when you have an education system hell-bent on portraying the United States as singularly the worst country to ever come down the pike, flat-out lies masquerading as “history,” like the drivel Short Bus Kaine and Pandering Kamala are peddling, is a feature, not a bug.

The goal is to instruct whole generations of Americans to hate their country.  So maybe there are American citizens who heard this version of “Reality-Detached History with Short Bus Tim” and actually bought it.

The Left doesn’t want American citizens who are educated in history.  That much is certain.

Because if you learn history, if you understand that the United States is unique in the history of the world, not because of its awfulness, but because it embraces Liberty and the sovereignty of the individual, you’ll be less inclined to embrace this Marxist revolution the radical Left and its accomplices in the Democrat Party are hoping to bring about.

Jesse Kelly touched on this last night on his show.  Give it a watch.
