Remember Adam Schiff’s weepy star Shampeachment witness Marie Yovanovitch?

Sure, you do!

Yovanovitch was the former US Ambassador to Ukraine appointed by Barack Obama in 2016 and recalled by President Trump.

Her tear-filled testimony about losing her cushy job because of Bad Orange Man made her a media sensation.

Well, according to documents obtained through a FOIA request, Marie Yovanovitch wasn’t entirely truthful in her testimony before the House Shampeachment Tribunal.

Why mince words?

The bitch lied.

During President Trump’s impeachment, former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch testified to Congress that she knew little beyond an initial briefing and “press reports” about Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian natural gas firm that had hired Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and was dogged by a corruption investigation.

“It just wasn’t a big deal,” she declared under oath on Oct. 11, 2019.

But these documents and emails reveal a totally different story.

Turns out, Burisma was, to use a Joe Biden phrase, a big F-ing deal to Yovanovitch and her embassy staff.

The discussions about Burisma inside Yovanovitch’s embassy were so extensive, in fact, that they filled more than 160 pages of emails, memos and correspondence in fall 2016 alone, according to the State Department records obtained under FOIA by the conservative group Citizens United.

In fact, less than 45 days before President Trump took office, Yovanovitch met with a representative from Burisma in her embassy office.

The contacts included a detailed private letter hand-delivered to Yovanovitch by one of Burisma’s lawyers in September 2016, a briefing later that month from her staff on Burisma’s issues, and a meeting scheduled between the ambassador and a Burisma representative shortly before Christmas 2016 as the Obama administration was preparing to leave office.

This isn’t the first proof that the weepy star witness was less than honest about her knowledge of Burisma.  Elise Stefanik called out Yovanovitch in the public hearing over a lie she told in her opening statement.

This is the lie:

“And although I have met former Vice President Biden several times over the course of our many years in government, neither he nor the previous Administration ever raised the issue of either Burisma or Hunter Biden with me.” [bold emphasis Dianny’s]

During the Q&A Congresswoman Stefanik pointed out that in her previous deposition, Yovanovitch said the Obama State Department prepared practice questions and answers in the lead up to her Senate Confirmation that included questions specifically about Hunter Biden’s role with Burisma.

Here is what Weepy Marie said in her deposition:

“The way the question was phrased in this model Q&A was ‘What can you tell us about Hunter Biden, you know, being named to the board of Burisma?’”

As Stefanik put it at the time, the Obama State Department was so concerned about the conflict of interest between Hunter Biden and Burisma, they felt the need to prep the ambassador nominee on the subject before her confirmation.

I said way back when WhistleblowerGate first erupted that heading down this Ukraine rabbit hole was going to detonate over the wrong target — namely Joe Biden.

But Yovanovitch wanted payback for President Trump taking away her cushy job. So she was more than happy to join the pig-pile against him — even though she knew Biden and Burisma would be front and center. So her solution? Commit perjury to protect Joe.

Now, I’m not naïve enough to believe anything will happen to this woman for lying under oath.

She isn’t Roger Stone, after all.

No FBI SWAT team is going to conduct a pre-dawn raid of her house with a CNN camera crew in tow.

And I doubt any national “mainstream” news outlet will even report on this explosive story – especially given their mission to provide a protective shield around the Democrats’ presumptive nominee.

Speaking of Joe Biden and Ukraine:

According to Joseph Duggan at American Greatness, three days before Trump’s inauguration, Vice President Biden hopped on a plane and flew to Kyiv.

The timing is, shall we say, suspicious.

The cover story was that Biden was in Kyiv to give a speech exhorting Ukrainians to repent and renounce their centuries-old habit of public corruption. Think about it: A man who in three days would have no power gave a public speech demanding that his corrupt hosts—people who only fear overwhelming power—give up their addiction to corruption. Preposterous.

Duggan’s theory is Biden opted for a face-to-face rather than a phone call so there would be no White House record of what was said. I suspect Duggan is correct.

I have no doubt that it is Burisma/Ukraine, not Tara Reade, that is Joe Biden’s biggest scandal. Maybe that’s why Joe is flat-out refusing to open his recordsat the University of Delaware.

You just have to look at the way former Obama people are obfuscating and flat-out lying under oath to know that there is something deeply corrupt that they are desperate to hide.

If only we had a free and independent press who could do a little digging and find out what they’re hiding.
