Andrew Cuomo isn’t a hero; he’s a slime ball

The media makes a hero of the corrupt, incompetent slime ball who dithered for weeks while tens of thousands of New Yorkers got infected with the Wuhan virus.

As a New York resident, the media celebrating Andrew Cuomo as a hero has left me shaking my head in amusement.  The guy is a slime ball to be honest.  He’s a dishonest, corrupt demagogue in love with the sound of his own voice.

And yet this slime ball is actually being promoted as a replacement for Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee.

Just how desperate are the Democrats that they hail as a “hero” a hapless fool who crippled New York’s economy, berated New Yorkers who didn’t fall in lock-step with his radical agenda, and spent more time over the last three years suing President Trump than actually governing the state?

Sure, slime ball Cuomo wins reelection with ease – thanks in large part to the sheer number of Democrat voters that live in New York City and the surrounding areas.  Truth is, Cuomo is the governor of New York City, not the governor of the entire state.
Cuomo has nothing but disdain for those of us who reside outside of the Blue Sea of Manhattan. Then again, the feeling is mutual.

He famously berated New Yorkers who had the temerity to oppose abortion and support gun ownership – telling us to leave his precious state because we don’t share his values.  “They have no place in the state of New York,” the slime ball proclaimed. “Because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

In other words, slime ball Cuomo is like every other Democrat.  It’s his way or the highway.  And if you don’t fall in line, you have no values and should get the hell out!
Cuomo has a long history of treating some New Yorkers better than others.

It’s just who he is.

Two years ago, today’s Media Hero claimed that his job as Governor was to “put my thumb on the scales for social justice.”

Which explains why this idiot signed New York’s disastrous “bail reform” into law.  Criminals get preference over law-abiding citizens – especially if those law abiding citizens do not share Prince Andrew’s “values.”

Since the election of President Trump, Cuomo has railed against the President’s position on illegal immigration – even going so far as to repeatedly claim that he is an immigrant.  He sanctimoniously demanded that if President Trump wants to deport immigrants, then “start with me!!!

[Spoiler alert: Trump wants to deport illegals, not legal immigrants. Slime ball Andrew isn’t an illegal.  In fact he isn’t even an immigrant. Cuomo, like his father before him, was born in Queens – you know, just like President Trump.]

Cuomo’s tenure as governor has been fraught with corruption.  In that respect, he is far better suited to be Mayor of Chicago than Governor of New York (let alone President).

It is this corruption that prompted me to start calling Mario’s dumb son a slime ball to begin with.

Then, there’s the time back in 2018 when this snotty, sanctimonious prat sniffed at the idea of making America great again, claiming America was never that great.
And now this same corrupt, duplicitous bastard is being hailed as a Giant Among Men because his state is the epicenter of a global pandemic?

Yesterday, in her column “Cuomo Deserves No Plaudits for His Handling of Crisis,” Julie Kelly eviscerates the slime ball over his bungling response to the Wuhan virus.

But neither Cuomo nor New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio deserve attaboys. A toxic combination of Big Apple hubris, devotion to open borders regardless of the imminent threat, and Trump-hating obstinacy fueled a stubborn strategy that left their citizens vulnerable for months.

Further, New York’s political leaders have acknowledged that the world’s financial capital—a city home to nearly 9 million people, the most densely populated city in the country—has no comprehensive plan to deal with a pandemic or any viral public health threat. Cuomo and DeBlasio have cobbled together a last-minute, slapdash strategy as COVID-19 spread across the globe and closed in on New York City.

By January 31, the day President Trump suspended flights from China, “outbreaks were already growing in over 30 cities across 26 countries, most seeded by travelers from Wuhan,” according to one model by the New York Times.

But even by late February, Cuomo boasted about his state’s accessibility to foreign travelers—his state, the governor said on February 26, is the “front door” for visitors from around the world—while only instituting voluntary quarantines for suspected coronavirus carriers.

“Our operating paradigm has always been, prepare for the worst but hope for the best,” Cuomo said.

That paradigm, apparently, did not include prohibiting hundreds of thousands of potentially infected travelers from entering his state since January. Tourists and business travelers continued to pour into the Big Apple during the first several days of March without any comprehensive screening or restrictions.

Cuomo this week again bragged about his state’s open arms, which resulted in New York’s current crisis. The reason New York now has so many more cases of coronavirus, even more than California, is “because we welcome people from across the globe,” he said on March 25. “We have people coming here, we have people who came here from China, who came here from Italy, who came here from all across the globe.”

No one, of course, should be surprised that a leading Democratic politician prioritized open borders diversity politics over public health.

[I know I’m quoting a lot of Kelly’s column.  But the whole thing is so good.  You really should read it in its entirety.]

And after screaming for days that New York didn’t have enough ventilators, yesterday this histrionic slime ball finally admitted that New York has a stock pile of thousands of unused ventilators at its disposal.

But by then the narrative was set: Meanie Meanie Jelly Beanie Trump is letting New Yorkers die because he won’t give Saint Andrew all the ventilators he needs!!!!!

So on top of everything else, Cuomo is a partisan demagogue who is using the pandemic raging in New York (thanks to his own bungling mismanagement and open borders sanctimony) as a way to attack the President.

Man, I really loathe this guy.

Now, I realize that corruption and incompetence are not deal-breakers for Democrats.  If they were, Hillary wouldn’t have been the 2016 nominee and Joe Biden wouldn’t be on the cusp of getting the nomination now.

Sure, Cuomo would play well among deep blue coastal cities who vote Democrat no matter who the candidate is.  But in states whose economies rely on energy production and manufacturing?  Not so much.  Cuomo has killed manufacturing in New York.  He has banned all fracking (and plastic grocery bags because that’s so important, don’t you know).  He signed into law the most radical pro-abortion legislation ever and was so proud of it, he lit up the Empire State Building in pink to celebrate.

And don’t get me started on New York’s idiotic SAFE Law.

I’ve said many times that New York could be the biggest economic powerhouse in the country.  We have the potential to be Texas of the Northeast.  But our potential lies dormant thanks to the guy Democrats and the media are now hailing as a hero.

A hero.

The corrupt, Job-Killing, Freedom-hating, “America was never that great” slime ball with his thumb on the scales who dithered for weeks while tens of thousands of New Yorkers got infected with the Wuhan virus. He’s their hero.

It really is laughable.
