Lots of hubris in that tiny body

Imagine the level of hubris it must take to believe Mini-Mike Bloomberg is the Superhero come to save the Democrat Party from Bernie Sanders.

According to Axios, Mini-Mike Bloomberg’s campaign is urging the other 2020 Democrat candidates to drop out so that he can stop Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination.

Can you believe the hubris of this man?

Bloomberg has yet to receive a single vote, let alone a single delegate.  It takes a hell of a lot of hubris to demand everybody else clear out so he can take on Bernie mano-a-mini-mano.

In a Team Bloomberg memo with the subject line “The State of the Race,” Mitch Stewart and Dann Kanninen break down the polling and determine that right now in the Democrat primary, it is effectively a two-man race between Hubris von Tiny-Man and Bernie Sanders.

Here’s how they conclude their memo:

The bottom line is that if Biden, Buttigieg and Klobuchar remain in the race, despite having no path to appreciably collecting delegates on Super Tuesday (and beyond), they will propel Sanders to a seemingly insurmountable delegate lead by siphoning votes away from MRB [short for Michael Bloomberg] with no upside for themselves.

How hilarious is it that they shorten his name to MRB? I’d avoid any additional “shortening” when it comes to Mini Mike, but that’s me.

“The nerve of those guys who have been campaigning for a solid year siphoning votes away from a guy who has yet to win a single vote!” is quite an argument.

And what hubris to believe that Mini-Money-Man is just the guy to save the world from Bernie Sanders.

And if the other candidates do as they demand and drop out, how does Team Tiny know their diminutive guy be the one to pick up their supporters?

Did Team Hubris ever stop to consider that maybe those supporters might just switch to Bernie?

But the self-important drivel didn’t stop there.

Taking a step back: this is now a 3-candidate race between MRB, Sanders, and Trump.

Hey, idiots! Trump isn’t running for the Democrat nomination, you prats.

Both Sanders and Trump know that MRB poses the greatest threat to their chances of winning this election.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Sure, Jan.

As we ascend …

No doubt with the aid of a box.

…and begin (hopefully) consolidating support …

No doubt by purchasing it.

… there will be blowback from both Sanders and Trump – both candidates themselves, but also their supporters, who share some attributes. We expect them to escalate their attacks on MRB, our campaign staff, and our supporters.

Well, welcome to the world of presidential politics, guys.

Candidates attack each other.

Have you been up in Mini-Money-Man’s Fortress of Solitude for the last two hundred years? How do you not know that?

And don’t get me started on the “who share some attributes” part.

Boy, I really hope the other candidates bring this up in tonight’s debate.

Fact is, I hope they hammer the hell out of Mini-Money-Man over a lot of things.

Right now, all voters k now about Mini Mike is what they see in his TV ads.  Like I said yesterday, it’s about time voters got to see him on the debate stage.

If the other candidates can really challenge him (on the issues, past statements and positions, not his money) I think Democrat voters will discover the secret identity behind the Superhero he portrays himself as in his commercials.

If the other candidates are smart (big IF) and play their cards right, they can pull away the mask, reveal the real Mike Bloomberg, and, in turn, deflate the artificially high polling this untested, unproven candidate is receiving right now.

But since these are the Democrats, I’m not holding my breath.
