Keep in mind, Dianny wrote this even before Iran's little missile show, so before the enemedia was repeating Iranian propaganda about "30 Americans killed"
Major media corporations in the US are unquestioningly, uncritically regurgitating the Iranian regime’s propaganda to an American audience.

As I said in my previous post, Iran is not a military superpower. It is a bankrupt, isolated terror state. But it is waging a full-scale propaganda war.
In fact, Soleimani wasn’t done smoldering when Iran launched the first salvo in this propaganda war. And they immediately found allies to help them wage it.
The American news media.
For several days now, major media corporations in the US have been unquestioningly, uncritically regurgitating the Iranian regime’s propaganda to an American audience.
CNN has been especially grotesque.
Though, I did a search of CNN’s Twitter feed for “Iran’s foreign minister,” and apparently CNN’s been Iran’s ally in their never-ending propaganda war against the US for years – happily regurgitating all of Zarif’s bilious garbage.
Yesterday on Anderson Cooper’s show, Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders actually compared Soleimani to Russian dissidents killed by Putin. And CNN’s Cooper simply nodded along as if it was a totally not insane thing to say.
They’re breathlessly reporting on the sheer number of people forced to attend Soleimani’s funeral demonstration as if it was totally unprompted and 100% authentic.
They’re visibly moved by the sight of the decrepit old Ayatollah weeping for his dead terrorist buddy.
Tom Elliott from Grabien put together a montage of the most egregious examples of Iran’s allies in this propaganda war. And it is, to put it mildly, appalling.

Are these brothers-in-arms happy, eager allies in Iran’s propaganda war or just gullible useful idiots?
Probably a smattering of both.
Ask yourself this. If Barack Obama had taken out Qassem Soleimani instead of President Trump, would the media willingly parrot Iran’s bilge if its propaganda war was directed at Obama?
I’m thinking no.
But as the old saying goes, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
The fact is, the American news media despises Trump as much as the Iranian regime does. And their hatred for America is nearly as seething. Though, in fairness, they haven’t yet started chanting “Death to America.”
So while some of them are probably no more than gullible useful idiots, I’m thinking a lot of them willingly enlisted in this propaganda war because they hope promoting Iran’s narrative will hurt President Trump. And they care nothing at all about the cost to the nation.
But they won’t do that. Because they’re fighting on the side of Iran.
And if their complicity further hurts this country, our national security or the lives of Americans? Ah, well. Too bad. Because in this propaganda war to destroy President Trump, any collateral damage would be an acceptable loss.
