Despite not even reading President Trump’s powerful letter,
Nancy Pelosi declares it “sick.” But it isn’t the letter that’s sick, Nancy.
Nancy Pelosi declares it “sick.” But it isn’t the letter that’s sick, Nancy.
Have you read President Trump’s letter to Nancy Pelosi yet? If you haven’t, I strongly encourage you to read it (you can find it HERE).
In six pages, President Trump lays out the case for why ramming this impeachment through makes Nancy and the House Democrats guilty of all the things they accuse him of.
This letter dismantles the Democrats in general, but it makes mincemeat of every stupid thing Nancy has said since the beginning of this farce.
But when Adam Schiff’s buddy CNN’s Manu Raju asked Nancy about President Trump’s letter, this was her response. “I mean, I haven’t full read it. We’ve been working. I’ve seen the essence of it though, and it’s really sick.”
“I haven’t full read it?”
It’s six pages long. It took me less than three minutes to read the damn thing. And despite how solemn, prayerful and “historic” Nancy sees this impeachment, she won’t take three minutes to read a letter from the man she hopes to impeach?
This tells me all I need to know.
And, how exactly does one see the essence of a letter?
But this is Nancy Pelosi we’re talking about. The woman is, as I said last week, completely clueless about her own solemn, prayerful and “historic” impeachment. She hasn’t read a damn thing.
Remember, she also thinks that Adam Schiff’s fictional recitation of the Ukraine call transcript was using the President’s own words.
Clearly she didn’t “full read” the transcript either. And apparently she failed to even “see the essence” of it.
You’d think Nancy would be more cautious about admitting that she is clueless and uniformed.
If Nancy can’t be bothered to read a six-page letter from the target of her impeachment farce, do you actually think she’s ever read a single word of any of the monstrous bills her caucus has written?
Nancy and her obedient Democrats have been bleating endlessly about wanting to hear from President Trump. And here he presents her with a six-page letter addressing every point of their farce. Don’t you think Nancy would be a wee bit curious about what the President has to say?
Who am I kidding?
Of course she doesn’t care what the President has to say.
This has never been about getting to the truth.
It has never been about facts, evidence or even a friggin’ crime.
And President Trump is exactly right when he says in this letter:
You are turning a policy disagreement between two branches of government into an impeachable offense – it is no more legitimate than the Executive Branch charging members of Congress with crimes for the lawful exercise of legislative power.
And this:
You are the ones interfering in America’s elections. You are the ones subverting America’s Democracy. You are the ones Obstructing Justice. You are the ones bringing pain and suffering to our Republic for your own selfish personal, political, and partisan gain.
And this:
Any member of Congress who votes in support of impeachment – against every shred of truth, fact, evidence, and legal principle – is showing how deeply they revile the voters and how truly they detest America’s Constitutional order. Our founders feared the tribalization of partisan politics, and you are bringing their worst fears to life.
So, no, Nancy. President Trump’s letter isn’t what’s sick.
You are.
In your mindless quest to undermine the will of the people and pursue a weaponized impeachment, you have lost what little reason you had left.
President Trump is right, this is nothing more than an attempt to interfere with the 2020 election and seek vengeance on the voters who elected him in 2016.
Even if that means running you neck into this noose and destroying your own party.
That, Madam Speaker, is truly sick.
And as President Trump says in the close of this letter:
I have no doubt the American people will hold you and the Democrats fully responsible in the upcoming 2020 election. They will not soon forgive your perversion of justice and abuse of power.
He is absolutely right.
In truth, I really can’t blame Nancy for not wanting to read this letter. It is a blistering indictment of her own derangement.
