President Trump Ratchets Up The Pressure On Joe Biden’s Involvement In Hunter Biden’s Rampant Grifting

Yesterday, I predicted that the whole “whistleblower” kerfuffle is likely to end up damaging Joe Biden much more than it will Donald Trump. The reasons for that are simple. The whole allegation is nonsense as we now know the whistleblower had neither heard the phone call nor even seen transcripts. In fact, by legal definition he’s not really a whistleblower he’s what’s called a “rumormonger” and there is no statute that protects those. Secondly, even if it is true, it is hard to see the foul play as the allegation of Hunter Biden’s grift has been the subject of media attention on the past and the Obama administration had leaned on Ukraine to stop their investigation. This, alone, merits asking the Ukrainians to reopen the case. Third, as the left told us about Trump during the Russia Hoax, if he’s not guilty he not only has nothing to fear but should welcome the opportunity to clear his name. And while Trump is merely contending with piss-ants like Adam Schiff, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are pushing the Biden story behind the scenes which will make it much harder to ignore.

But the main reason this is likely to fatally damage Biden’s nomination hopes is because of who he is facing: President Donald Trump. Not only does Trump have the megaphone to keep this story going, he is rarely constrained by convention in what he will say. For instance, this is from today:
Not only Ukraine, take a look at China. They [Biden’s] took a tremendous amount of money out of China. If they over took over China negotiations he would sell us out. Look at all the money he made in China. The son, he knew nothing. The son is the stiff, he knew nothing. And he’s making hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars. And he did the same thing in Ukraine. He knows nothing. This is a very dishonest thing that Joe Biden did.
And then he said he never spoke to his son. Does anybody believe that one? But then he also said, long before, that he did speak to his son. So he lied. Again. But what he said, that he wouldn’t give, I think it was billions of dollars to Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor who was looking at his son and his son’s company, the company that his son worked with. Thats a very dishonest thing.
I’m not looking to hurt Biden, I’m not even looking to hold him to it, to be honest. But he said a very bad thing. He said a very foolish thing.
Now me, on the other hand, my conversations with the president, the new president was perfect. They put out a statement last night. They said the same thing. It was a warm friendly conversation. There was no quid pro quo. There was nothing. It was a perfect conversation.
And, quite honestly, Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s grift needs to be looked into. Hunter Biden, with no relevant experience, got a seat on Amtrak’s board of directors. Joe Biden encourages Ukraine to increase gas production and Hunter Biden gets another board seat that paid, depending upon who you quote, $50-80,000/month. Hunter Biden travels with dear old Dad to Beijing aboard Air Force Two and returns with a private equity deal valued at $1.5 billion.

Some of the mainstream media will sandbag this story and cover it with the usual hand-waving and assurances that there is nothing going on, but there is something going on. If they choose not to cover it, you can bet Trump’s twitter feed will make that known. And even if Biden is not actively involved in criminal activity, something that remains unproven at this juncture, the narrative is very easy for everyone, Republican and Democrat, to understand. And that narrative is not helpful to Joe Biden.
