Trump Moves To Shut Down Birth Tourism Industry After SCOTUS Affirmed Squatter Citizenship

President Donald Trump signed two new executive orders to help rein in the birthplace citizenship crisis Thursday in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling that read automatic U.S. citizenship for illegal aliens into the Constitution.

The Supreme Court ruled in June that any random foreigner has the right to American citizenship simply by being born in the country. That decision declared unconstitutional a day-one executive order from Trump correctly interpreting the 14th Amendment to stop the practice. Notably, both the executive and legislative branches are constitutional entities with their own responsibilities to interpret the Constitution. The president is not required to follow unconstitutional edicts from the Supreme Court, but the orders are structured to maintain consistency with the court’s Barbara ruling.

“United States citizenship is among the greatest inheritances the Nation can bestow,” one of the orders states. “It embodies a sacred bond between the American people and the Nation in which they live, and carries profound rights, privileges, and responsibilities reflective of the enduring allegiance of citizens to the United States and our Constitution.”

The first order, “Continuing to Protect the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship,” clarifies situations the president does not believe are covered by the high court’s ruling, including cases of children born to an “alien enemy,” such as the children of terrorists, namely those found to be members of a Foreign Terrorist Organization or Specially Designated Global Terrorist.

It is unclear how large that class is, but the order addressing alien enemies eems to signal a move toward a much more effective way to designate that a child does not obtain American citizenship: declaring ineligible children being born to noncitizens deemed to be invaders.

As the Federalist reported, not only did the Supreme Court’s Barbara decision not address the question of children born to invaders, the court does not have the jurisdiction to block executive branch action repelling an invasion. As Iowa Solicitor General Eric Wesson noted, Trump and Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, have both declared an invasion at the southern border, which took place under the Biden administration and prior. Given that reality, those who flooded in and had children — anchor babies — acted as invaders and would have no right to citizenship for themselves or their children.

The new order also clarifies that the children of foreign government employees, like ambassadors and embassy workers, are not entitled to birthplace citizenship. Some diplomats have reportedly been obtaining citizenship for their children while they are posted to the United States.

Anyone engaged in a commercial enterprise to obtain American citizenship is also banned from being afforded the privilege, as is “the person … born in a territory or territorial waters of the United States where citizenship is not conferred by Federal statute.” American Samoa is the only territory in which children born to noncitizens are not conferred automatic U.S. citizenship.

The second order, “Ending Birth Tourism,” goes into more detail about the birth tourism industry.

“Citizenship is not a commodity to be acquired through calculated exploitation and evasion of the immigration laws, such as by entering the United States on a nonimmigrant visa for the purpose of giving birth within the Nation’s borders,” it states. “Birth tourism operators use deceptive advertisements and inducements to entice foreign nationals to travel to the United States for the purpose of giving birth on American soil. They promise citizenship; access to public benefits; and short-term stays in specialized facilities, hotels, or rentals, but often fail to deliver on these promises. These operators coach their clients to misrepresent the purpose and duration of their travel to consular and border officials to obtain visas authorizing entry into the United States.”

One major hub for birth tourism is the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory close to China where there are currently more births to Chinese nationals — all of whom obtain U.S. citizenship — than Americans. Those new “American citizens” then return to China and are raised there, but are fully free to come back to the U.S. as an adult and full-fledged citizen.

The order seeks to stop that practice, but also has a retroactive clause that would require the “denial of entry to, or removal of, any alien who previously engaged or plans to engage in birth tourism.”

Conrad Black: Iran stands no chance against Donald Trump

 The president's strategy may be confusing but the U.S. will ultimately prevail

Since U.S. President Donald Trump is acutely conscious of his credibility and of the retention of his power at home and in the world, and specifically of his leverage as commander-in-chief of the world’s most powerful military, there must be some indiscernible purpose in his waffling over what to do next in Iran. On March 21, he said that if there were any interference in the Hormuz Strait after 48 hours, he would begin destroying Iranian power plants. 

Two days later, he extended his deadline for five days and then for a further 10 days, and then in an extremely coarse social media post on April 7, he threatened Iran that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” if his terms were not met. A day later, he announced a further suspension of bombing for two weeks.

On June 11, he promised to hit Iran “very hard,” but a few hours later cancelled that. The so-called memorandum of understanding broke down days after it was signed and, on July 31, Trump began again promising to hit Iran “very hard.” But on August 1, that threat was inoperative and he claimed that “the perimeters of a deal (have) been agreed to,” which was promptly dismissed as fiction by the government of Iran. 

On June 17, he had said that Iran’s new leaders were ”very smart and much less radical” than the previous crew whom the Americans and Israelis had killed. On July 8, doubtlessly closer to the truth, he said that the same leaders were “scum.” All this toing and froing is presumably a tactic of some sort, as Trump knows the damage he has done to his own stature and standing as a result of these vacillations. But whatever their intent, they do not erase the fact that the United States and Israel did terrible damage to the military capability of Iran with minimal casualties to themselves, and that the blockade the United States imposed upon Iran (and has now reimposed) did immense economic damage to that country.

This eccentric rope-a-dope tactic induces observers to forget that the military phase of this conflict has been the most one-sided between any serious combatant countries in modern history (the fall of France and the Six-Day War of 1967 were gripping matches in comparison). It has also opened a credibility gap, slightly reminiscent of Vietnam, with exaggerated claims of the complete destruction of Iran’s missile strength as it continues to fire missiles, though its strength has undoubtedly been severely reduced. It has also persuaded the world that Trump is terrified by the November midterm elections, which is bunk. This war is not now in the slightest onerous to the United States. Nor is there any doubt that the U.S. Navy can assure passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

The outcome of the midterm election will not be influenced by global gasoline prices unless Trump suddenly becomes torpid and inert. The U.S. is not a net energy importer, and it doesn’t have to observe the world oil price, and Trump is already accusing the oil companies of price gouging. Taxes make up a significant portion of the cost of gasoline, and Trump could easily give a short-term federal rebate on some of those taxes. Also, the Democrats are a much-despised party who have had no argument except witless Trump-hate for 10 years. 

Even though the country is starting to get somewhat tired of Trump, as it usually does with presidents at this stage, Trump-hate won’t fly, especially with a party obligingly nominating droves of completely unfeasible Marxist lunatics as candidates. Anyone who imagines that this subversive Democratic dunciad is about to sweep America needs profound, ground-breaking therapy.

Under no circumstance will Trump accept a defeat from Iran, and there are no possible circumstances that will impose a defeat upon him. The most likely outcome is that Trump will state that negotiations are useless because the United States would honour an agreement and Iran would not, so there is no point negotiating one. Instead, the United States will maintain an air-tight land, sea and air blockade on Iran and strangle it economically (while the People’s Republic of China scrambles to find a replacement source of oil). The U.S. will also guarantee passage of shipping through the strait and any Iranian attack on that traffic will be responded to at once with a high multiple of applied force, probably including the destruction of at least one power plant on each such infraction. 

The Americans will continue this blockade until Iran convincingly agrees that it will end all pursuit of a nuclear military program, including the removal of enriched uranium, and cease the promotion of terrorism, specifically including Israel’s neighbours, and will not claim any right to control the international waterway of the Strait of Hormuz. Until it accepts those conditions, it will be throttled economically and severely punished for transgressions. This would assure the victory of the United States. It would not necessarily remove the incumbent government of Iran. Trump has renounced any interest in who governs any foreign country as long as that country does not threaten the legitimate interests of the United States and of the civilized world. 

This would not be at all a difficult policy to sell to the country, and it does not necessarily involve any American casualties or a substantial expenditure of ordnance, and it would certainly eventually attain all of America’s objectives.

The contemporary floundering of Russia in Ukraine should also be recognized as the great victory for the West that it is. Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to revive the greater Russia of Peter the Great and Joseph Stalin. But Peter the Great advanced to the edges of central Europe at a time (early 18th century) when Germany and Italy were not unified and the Ottoman Empire was beginning to retreat from Europe. And Stalin got within a hundred miles of the Rhine in East Germany because U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt devised the policy whereby the Anglo-Americans liberated France and occupied Italy and Japan and most of Germany while Stalin took, as between the big three, a great majority of the casualties and the physical damage in subduing Germany and ended up with much less important strategic assets in the so-called satellite countries, all of which Russia was pledged to evacuate with free elections, as the western powers did with the countries that they liberated. 

It took 45 years for these elections to be held in Eastern Europe while the U.S.S.R. was subjected to the western containment policy, but communism was rejected, and the Soviet Union disintegrated without a shot being fired. The hideous regime in Iran can be defanged much more swiftly and easily than was the U.S.S.R.

America is a hyper-active society and parts of it are always in decay. But it possesses the genius of renovation. There are often predictions of its decline, as in the Great Depression, and the times of Vietnam, the financial crisis of 2008-9 and the many fiascoes of the Biden era. Such suggestions are again audible, but they are just the envy and spitefulness of the weak.

WSJ Promotes Narrative of Putin Plan to Strike NATO Country

The article itself is weak sauce in the extreme, “according to new U.S. intelligence reports that posit possible scenarios” blah, blah, blah…  You know the routine.

However, that said, there is a general alignment of intent that tracks this narrative as expressed by the Wall Street Journal.

CTH doesn’t try to convince anyone. Convincing is an endless quest. However, if you just look at the datapoints that have surfaced since June 11th, there is a greater likelihood of some kind of western kinetic activity that can be carried out in order to stimulate more opposition to Russia.  Some form of false flag operation.

That approach would track with what we have witnessed in the past two months as Ukraine makes public claims in media that are expressly opposite of the action they are taking.  CTH has been pointing this out along the way.  It is prudent to notice things, particularly when those things can be consequential to the interests of EU-controllled intelligence.

WASHINGTON—Russian President Vladimir Putin could try to test NATO’s resolve with a limited assault on an allied country in the next few years, according to new U.S. intelligence reports that posit possible scenarios ranging from a cyberattack to a small-scale land incursion.

The assessments, described by U.S. officials, come amid a shortfall in certain critical munitions that the military would need to confront Russia or China in a potential future war. The U.S. has severely degraded its stockpile of these weapons because of transfers to Ukraine after Russia’s invasion, as well as the U.S. conflict with Iran. Stockpiles at risk include long-range Precision Strike Missiles and Army Tactical Missile Systems, as well as short-range Stinger surface-to-air missiles, other officials said.

The U.S. had previously assessed that Putin wouldn’t provoke a North Atlantic Treaty Organization country while he is still fighting in Ukraine. But that assessment changed earlier this year, the U.S. officials said, as Putin is squeezed in Ukraine and under pressure at home to secure a victory. Kyiv’s drones are inflicting growing damage on both Russia’s army and oil industry, while Putin’s forces are making smaller gains at the front line amid heavy casualties. (read more)

Leaker Identified – Dept of War Revokes Security Clearance for Former Secretary of Airforce, Frank Kendall

After a controversial leak investigation, which included New York DOJ subpoenas to collaborating journalists, it appears the Dept of War has identified the source of the Airforce One security compromise, former Secretary of the Airforce, Frank Kendall.

Disgraced former Biden appointee and staunch activist democrat Frank Kendall has now lost his security clearance, and his nongovernmental career as a contractor, consultant and lobbyist within the area of military procurement.  Kendall can no longer hold any sensitive position in the private sector that touches on Pentagon programs.

(Via Dept of War via X) – Effective immediately, the Department of War has REVOKED former Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall’s eligibility for access to classified information and his ability to hold any sensitive position.

This action follows his unauthorized disclosure of classified information regarding Air Force One’s capabilities to a media outlet.

Safeguarding classified information is a non-negotiable duty. Those who violate that trust forfeit the privilege of access and any role requiring it. (source)

This type of duplicitous scheming is one of the reasons why DC didn’t want Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth.  DC wanted someone they could count on to undermine President Trump.

Secretary Bessent Extends “Geographic Targeting Order” Restricting Financial Transactions in Minnesota

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent continues on two domestic financial approaches to block banking services for illegal aliens and simultaneously target use of the financial system by those engaged in fraud of the U.S. government.

Secretary Bessent has extended the Geographic Targeting Order (GTO) within Minnesota that covers two counties, Hennepin and Ramsey.

All financial transactions over a $3,000 limit are subject to increased reporting requirements and scrutiny from the U.S. treasury.  {citation}

The measure is intended to identify any person who attempts to transfer funds obtained by fraud who operate in the region to take advantage of HHS funding programs. “Treasury promised to follow the money, and that is exactly what we are doing,” said Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent. “We will continue to give law enforcement critical tools to trace criminal networks that siphon taxpayer dollars and move them overseas.  The Trump Administration will not allow criminals to profit from programs intended to help vulnerable Americans.”

Additionally, the Treasury Department has now concluded the 90-day assessment laid out in an executive order titled “Restoring Integrity to America’s Financial System,” on May 19 and directed the Treasury Department, Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, FDIC, National Credit Union Administration and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to strengthen customer identification and due-diligence rules and to reassess how banks weigh credit risk for borrowers without work authorization. 

Bessent is now giving banks and payroll companies additional guidelines and rules to ensure that illegal aliens are not exploiting the U.S. banking system.  Bessent is following a path that is predicted to eventually require banks to verify legal citizenship or legal status.  The guidelines are the first steps toward that process.

ARIZONA – […] The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency followed with an advisory on lending to borrowers not authorized to work in the U.S., instructing banks to weigh a borrower’s “willingness and capacity to repay” as part of standard underwriting.

Bessent said Arizona’s compliance programs, employee training, suspicious-activity reporting and information-sharing reflect the kind of partnership the executive order envisions. 

In return, Bessent said, the Treasury Department is committed to giving banks better tools to catch fraud early, and he promised officials in Washington would listen more closely to community bankers.

Legal and tax analysts caution that the order’s effectiveness will depend on how the regulations are written. In a June 3 client alert, law firm Debevoise & Plimpton noted the order doesn’t impose new compliance obligations on banks, though it does start agency actions that could reshape anti-money-laundering compliance, customer due diligence and lending standards. 

The CFPB is also weighing whether borrowers’ risk of deportation and lost wages should be factors in determinations of their ability to repay loans. The firm noted the order stopped short of an earlier, more sweeping proposal that would have required banks to verify citizenship status for all customers. (more)

During the Biden era our nation was forced to import 10 million people who are non-functioning in a first world system.  The illegal aliens are generally uneducated; most cannot speak the language; almost all don’t understand simple American customs and norms; they need housing, medical treatment, transportation and basic services.  At the same time people wonder why housing costs, insurance rates and general commodity prices skyrocket.

We do not need more H1B workers, or any visa workers at all.  Cancel them all, then watch what happens to the wages and job opportunities of young tech Americans.

Deport 1 million illegal aliens per month; shut down all welfare systems and safety nets for illegal aliens; eliminate all healthcare services and taxpayer funded education for illegal aliens; make all systems for immigration status originate from consulate offices outside the United States – effectively eliminating the process within America; ban illegal aliens from access to banking and remittance payments, and begin the process of filing criminal charges against any/all employers who have illegal alien workers in their organizations.

Immediately suspend the business and regulatory licenses for any employer caught using illegal alien labor and watch the wages of blue-collar workers jump faster than the 30+ million empty houses and apartments can hit the market.

The unemployment rate in July dropped from 4.20% to 4.10% because the labor force dropped by 257,000 in the same month of July.  That’s illegal alien workforce deportations in action.  We need this to continue only at a much faster pace.

We need 1 million forced deportations every month to turn the economy around.  If we can deport those illegal alien workers, then cancel all H1B and visa programs, American wages will rise.  American employers will compete for American talent.  American benefits will expand with employment competition. American housing and insurance costs will drop very quickly. American overall life will improve, and Generation Z will flourish.

Justice Samuel Alito channeled his inner Jordan Belfort to declare he’s sticking around, causing much heartache throughout liberal America. You can hear the collective groans. There was increased speculation about the future plans for one of the conservative wing’s most vocal voices, especially since National Public Radio posted a piece about his retirement on the final day of Supreme Court opinions in June. He’s told the Wall Street Journal he’s here to stay for another term.
