Let’s Liberate Cuba and Gut America’s Left

Time to cure that communist chancre sore that’s been suppurating off America’s coast for over 60 years since that sissy JFK failed to send in the Air Force, the Navy, and the 82nd Airborne to back up the Cuban freedom fighters at the Bay of Pigs. Fidel Castro should have been swinging from a telephone pole in 1961; maybe, then Kennedy would not have been murked by some Marxist malcontent from the Fair Play for Cuba Committee.

Lesson: Always take out the commies when you have the chance, whether it’s through an open helicopter door or by applying leverage when they are about to collapse under the sheer weight of their malignant incompetence. This is where we are right now. The freedom-hating regime just below arguably the most freedom-loving state in the union is teetering. They can’t feed themselves. They can’t fuel themselves. Of course, they blame American sanctions, which is probably correct in that no communist entity can survive without either massive subsidies or capitalism supporting it – just look at America’s academia.

Right now, they are wobbling, and there’s no one left to bail them out as a way to stick it to Uncle Sam as the old USSR did. Their list of friends grows thin. Russia can’t help them. China can’t help them. Iran can’t even help itself, unless Donald Trump chickens out in the face of the mullahs (Unlikely!). And Venezuela can’t help them. It’s under new management after Delta Force easily waxed Cuba’s elite praetorians and carried off el jefe Maduro, leaving dozens of dead reds to be shipped back to Havana in shoeboxes.

Time to tell the Cuban communist cadres to go get their shine boxes. After mounting the mullah’s heads on the wall of the Oval Office, the President should mount a trophy to represent Cuba Libre

It’s not just that the Cuban communists have enslaved and imprisoned the people of an island that should be a paradise since Ike was president. Make no mistake, that’s enough to put a target on their back. They’ve murdered hundreds of thousands of freedom-loving patriots. They’ve tortured and imprisoned millions. They must be held to account. A legendary freedom fighter, asked what it felt like to kill a human being, famously responded that he did not know – he had only killed communists. He could have been talking about these Caribbean monsters, these degenerate thugs and psychotic fiends whose brutality is exceeded only by their amazing incompetence. The one thing on earth that can keep a country full of Cubans poor is socialism.

But there’s another reason to finish them. The Cuban communist cadres have targeted our country. They have infiltrated our society through their notorious DirecciΓ³n de Inteligencia (DI), the Cuban intelligence agency commonly known in English as the Intelligence Directorate. The DI punches far above its weight and is extremely effective for its size, which is no surprise. It’s full of Cubans.

The organization’s entire focus is on the United States, and it has slipped its tentacles into every part of our society, from Hollywood to academia, from the regime media to government. It is all over the bureaucracy – the prevalence of Cuban intelligence assets is well-known. Every few years, the FBI busts a spy ring, but most of Havana’s assets remain in place because the truth is far too explosive to expose. The Cubans have significant assets within and among the Democratic Party and the organizations of the activist left. Which means that there is another huge benefit to getting rid of this rogue regime once and for all. It will devastate the pro-communist NGOs behind so much of the leftist disruption in our society.

It’s easy to get agents into the United States. You just send them. Miami was and remains full of them; that’s well-known in the Cuban exile community. But once here, the case officers go to people of influence and recruit them. Most are not even Cuban. It’s easy – the DI field officers’ big problem is volume, as there are just too many left-wing Americans eager to help the Cuban regime to handle.

At various prestigious colleges, Cuban agents have cultivated professors and administrators as assets. Not only do these traitors push the party line in their work, but they also act as talent scouts among the students. They look for young people among America’s elite to turn into assets themselves, and these little creeps are only all too willing to play ball. One venue is the Venceremos Brigades. That’s a group that aspiring pinkos can join to get indoctrinated, including on annual trips to Cuba, where they can be trained and assimilated. Every year, the annual visit has a slogan. Want to guess what it was in 2015?

Black Lives Matter.

Then they come back and organize against America. If a group is protesting something, it’s probably pro-Havana. The DI’s fingerprints are all over these “spontaneous, grassroots movements.” We know that from defectors. Getting rid of Cuba’s communist regime means not only cutting off the head of the snake but getting access to the records to hold the American traitors accountable. That’s a win-win.

The Democrats won’t like it because the open secret in the counter-intel community is how riddled with Cuban agents the Democrat Party is. There are active Cuban assets working in Congress on Democratic staffs, and more likely than not, some Democratic representatives and senators are compromised. But it’s all over the country. Here in Los Angeles, clinical moron, Mayor Karen Bass was a leader of the Venceremos Brigade, and she traveled to Cuba several times. When Castro died in 2016, she issued a tongue-bath eulogy worthy of the Washington Post or Pravda, to the extent they differ, opining that "the passing of the Comandante en Jefe is a great loss to the people of Cuba.”

Karen Bass, who has “Nearly burned down Los Angeles last year” on her resume, along with being a Cuban agent of influence, was one of the finalists in the Democratic Party’s 2020 vice-presidential search.

We need to put an end to this communist subversion by this enemy right off our shores. But how? Certainly, we could invade, and the Cuban Army – accustomed only to brutalizing the people they immediately disarmed upon taking power (Memo To Americans: Buy guns and ammunition) – would get gacked before its generals can cry“¡Aye caramba!” But the best idea is to let the Cubans do it. These are a feisty people and, properly motivated – like by us blockading the island to increase the economic pressure and giving the people some guns – would be happy to do what is necessary.

What else can the President do? Make it clear to the regime that there’s a fuse and that only the first to grab the life preserver will be saved. Maybe a tweet along the lines of an offer to members of the DI, in Cuba and here in America, offering amnesty, money, and even a green card for them and their family if they defect now, with records and files showing their operation in the United States. But that’s a limited-time offer; it’s first-come, first-served. And you do not want to be the last guy standing in Havana because you’re going to personally experience whatever the Spanish word for “payback” is for 65+ years of communist oppression.

We should invite them to give up and give in, and with the fresh example of Maduro and the Mullahs there to concentrate their minds wonderfully, they may well do it. That’s the easy way. But there’s also the hard way, and if it comes to that, so be it. Just remember Scarface, where Tony Montana, offered the chance to knife a red flunky, assured his principal that “I kill a communist for fun?” And trust me, knowing Cubans, that once the Communist Revolution has been finally consigned to the depths of hell where it belongs, this will be the moderate scenario.

Set backs in life happen. What matters is how you treat yourself in overcoming them.

Democrat Officials Discard Americans as Collateral Damage

Investigative reporter Aaron Sibarium has written an extraordinary account of a condominium complex whose residents are enduring hell because the local Democrats have allowed a homeless encampment, a thriving drug market, and foreign gangs to take over the area.  This is happening in Prince George’s County, Maryland, which gave Kamala Harris her highest vote-share of any county in the United States: 86%.  It appears that the residents of this condominium complex voted closer to 90% for Harris.  So, in a very real sense, the residents are living the nightmarish consequences of voting for Democrats.

Sibarium’s detailed description deserves to be read in its entirety because it serves as a horrifying warning of the outrageous harms Democrat politicians are willing to inflict upon law-abiding citizens.  If Democrats would do this to Americans who vote exclusively for Democrats, consider what those Democrat politicians would be willing to do to American communities that vote for them only sixty or seventy percent of the time.

Here’s the crux of the story: Relatively poor, non-white condo-owners live in this private complex.  A few years ago, a homeless encampment took over the complex’s backyard and transformed it into “a crackhouse, a bathroom, and the entrance to an open-air drug market, which has become a magnet for organized crime and caused millions in property damage.”  Vandals routinely break into buildings and smoke crack in the stairwells.  Condo-owners have to “navigate needles, feces, and sleeping bodies as addicts nap half-naked in the hallways.”  After criminals ransacked the boiler room around Thanksgiving, half of the complex has had no heat.  Without heat, pipes have burst in many buildings.  Because trespassers are illegally using the complex’s electricity and because private owners have been forced to use space heaters to survive this year’s cold winter, many units have lost electricity, too.

Rather than deal with the homeless, criminal army occupying the complex’s grounds, county Democrats have ordered owners without heat and electricity to vacate their homes.  In other words, the Democrats controlling the local government and police force would rather make private homeowners homeless than deal with the dangerous and unacceptable homeless problem that Democrats have allowed to fester right outside those homeowners’ front doors.  Sibarium quotes a deputy chief administrative officer for public safety and homeland security as telling condo-owners, “We have to be compassionate,” and a police major as insisting, “We’re not criminalizing the unhoused.”

Just who are these “unhoused” and uninvited “guests”?  Trespassers regularly “assault residents, start fires, and relieve themselves in hallways, leaving some carpets with permanent urine stains.”  There are drug dealers driving luxury vehicles making drop-offs late at night.  Masked gang members patrol the encampment.  Prostitutes turn tricks.  AK-47s have been found in the nearby woods next to graffitied trees and buildings that suggest the area has become MS-13 territory.  Essentially, Democrats have allowed an international gang of narco-terrorists to build a shantytown that provides cover for an open-air market for crack, fentanyl, weapons, prostitution, and who-knows-what-else.

The real estate company that manages the condo complex has repeatedly tried to get police and local officials to address the dangerous crime — and has even “offered to pay off-duty officers to provide private security” — but the cops have no interest in defending the community from well-armed members of MS-13.  After failing to convince police and county officials to take any action against the violent criminals who “had effectively colonized the condo,” the real estate company stopped repairing broken door locks because there were simply too many break-ins to repair.  When even police officers are “afraid for their safety,” how in the world are residents expected to survive?  The local Democrats don’t appear to care whether they do or not.

In fact, Sibarium’s report exposes county officials who are more interested in punishing the residents and the managing real estate company than they are in punishing the criminals engaging in acts of vile barbarism in broad daylight.  Democrat officials have threatened to sue the condo’s management for failing to fix the millions of dollars in property damage that the criminal gangs have caused.  Permitting and inspections boards have issued “an onslaught of citations” that have essentially bankrupted the condo’s operating budget.  So many wires have been installed aboveground either to steal electricity or keep space heaters working that local fire chiefs have hit the condo association with additional citations.  Because of the local fines and the complex’s costly disrepair, banks are unwilling to finance any security improvements.  The property’s insurance carrier canceled coverage due to “ongoing vandalism.”  Building inspectors have deemed many units “unfit for human habitation,” and the county Democrats are trying to enforce evacuation orders against numerous condo owners.  Meanwhile, Democrats running the county’s social services division continue to deliver food to the homeless camp, effectively incentivizing all the criminal activity that has destroyed these homeowners’ properties.

A reader responding to Sibarium’s exposΓ© on X summed up the Kafkaesque situation nicely: Democrats “will not ‘criminalize the unhoused’ so the vagrant camp and open air drug market proceed unimpeded…but when that camp of vagrants destroys the boiler room of a nearby apartment complex, they immediately evict the residents bc it is very illegal to live in a building without heat.  that would be unsafe.  has to be dealt with, we live in a society of laws, you understand.”  That’s the Democrat Party’s brand of craziness in a nutshell.

This whole story feels like a microcosm of Democrat Party policy across the nation.  Prominent Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been encouraging leftist agitators to attend training sessions during which they will learn how to obstruct Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations and “doxx” federal agents.  Democrat members of Congress are effectively conspiring with domestic terrorists to endanger the lives of federal officers working to arrest violent criminals.  Foreign-born Democrat Congressman Shri Thanedar promised in an open committee last week that Democrats would prosecute Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott for doing his job.  In other words, Democrats refuse to arrest violent illegal aliens who have broken into the United States but insist upon arresting federal law enforcement officers for protecting Americans from foreign nationals who wish them harm.

What is the result of Democrat policies engineered to protect criminals?  Violent illegal aliens rape and murder young women and girls across the United States.  Immigrant populations run billion-dollar social welfare fraud operations in Democrat-run cities such as Minneapolis.  During the four-year Biden administration, 8% of Nicaragua’s population illegally entered the United States.  Over 7% of Cuba’s population illegally entered the country.  Over 5% of the populations of Haiti and Honduras crossed America’s borders illegally.  And these are only the official numbers.  Who knows how many people made it across without being noticed!

Democrats flew millions of illegal immigrants in the dead of night and dropped them off in unsuspecting communities around the country.  Then they sued local officials in Texas and Arizona for trying to protect their own borders.  Is there any wonder why an astounding 28% of states’ voter verifications with the Social Security Administration can’t be matched to existing U.S. social security numbers?

When aiding and abetting crime is official Democrat Party policy, elections get stolen.  Vulnerable Americans are robbed, victimized, and murdered.  Entire condominium complexes are handed over to drug dealers and international gangs.  Americans are discarded as insignificant “collateral damage.”  When the most Democrat-voting county in America treats fellow Democrats as worthless trash, there’s no limit to how much harm Democrats are willing to inflict upon citizens across the United States.

The upcoming midterm elections later this year matter.  Why?  Because American lives are at stake.  Democrats see the lives of fellow Democrats as expendable.  They certainly don’t care about yours.

Obama's Latest Interview Is an Unbelievable Rewriting of History

Former President Barack Obama continues to make the podcast rounds as he joined Brian Cohen in what could only be labeled as one of the most insufferable interviews available on the internet. Obama managed to do what he does best: pretend to take the moral high-ground while having ruthlessly targeted anyone politically opposed to him.

Obama jumped onto the leftist talking point of the Democrat Party being the party of unity, while the Republican party has a monopoly on divisiveness, anger, “us/them” style of politics, and almost laughably equating the Left to Bad Bunny’s recent profane halftime performance that nearly no one in the United States could actually understand.

“That’s their home court,” Obama said. “Our court is coming together. A great example, it wasn’t political, Bad Bunny’s halftime show.”

Of course, by “unity” he means when his running-mate labeled his opponents as racists who would work to reinstitute slavery. Or how about the “basket of deplorables" line from his would-be successor, Hillary Clinton? It seems almost daily that we hear of a leftist politician calling ICE officers Nazis.

The lunacy doesn’t end there. Obama also took shots at President Trump, alleging that Trump has harassed and intimidated states who didn’t vote for him, and claiming that he would have never done the same.

It’s hard to break down just how absurd this statement is. Trump has only had to conduct these large-scale operations in sanctuary cities who are openly and flagrantly defying federal law, and because the Democrat-run states Trump desires to withhold funds from are engaged in billions of dollars of fraud.

Obama also seems to think that he never used his government power to target political opponents after making a claim that is a complete rewriting of the work of his administration. It seems rather hard to forget that the IRS targeted Tea Party aligned groups for increased scrutiny, with James Comey running cover for their political activity, among the countless other activities his administration got up to. Does the Steele Dossier even need to be mentioned? The number of cases are simply too vast to write about.

The good news for conservatives is, that if they have resorted to trotting out Obama to try to clean up their mess, you know that we are winning. If it weren't for him and his ego, Donald Trump would have never come down that escalator and ushered in a new age of conservative governance.

The Press Goes for Gold In Trashing the U.S. While Hailing the American Competing for the Chi-Coms

RedState

We are more than familiar with the press getting excitable over controversy, to the point where they will strive to generate it when they cannot find any. Keeping in mind that these are the same cranks who claim to despise division in this country, their desire to conjure political wedges is all the more unacceptable. That they have chosen the Olympics to wield this aspect of their craft has been an expected dose of distemper.

Sports reporters are basically relegated to the minor leagues of journalism, but they are no less biased than their brethren in the news majors. This means whenever they attempt to veer into the socio-political arena, they do so with a ham-fisted manner. It’s like watching the difference between a butcher deftly using carving knives, and a meat packer using a handsaw on a carcass in an abattoir.

The first week of the Olympiad in Milan has been filled with instances of athletes being prodded to go on the record and condemn some of the activity taking place in this country. As these soundbites were trumpeted across the media sphere, what was never explained was why we should care what a 20-year-old snowboard shredder or a middle-aged rock-slider has to say about complex political policies.

What makes these efforts from the press all the more intolerable is the bifurcated approach to these issues in reference to one athlete in particular. In the women’s skiing categories, one of the stars is Eileen Gu, and the approach to her appearance in Italy is a lesson in abject contradiction. While U.S. athletes are encouraged to get vocal and slam the administration, California resident Gu is regarded as a darling of the games, despite a glaring opportunity being avoided.

Gu competes under the Chinese flag, despite being born and reared in San Francisco. This is because her mother is a first-generation Chinese resident, and Gu announced years ago she desired to promote her sport to young girls in that nation. But more elements are in play with this skier, and the media being leery about approaching those topics is a hilarious dose of professional sloth.

More than a competitive option of convenience, Eileen’s choice of national placement is rather deep. Her mother is involved in her homeland, and Eileen spent summers in China, not only visiting but also attending school. The country embraced it when she switched her allegiance with the International Olympic Committee, and this is cause for some investigation, something the press has been loath to engage in.

China does not recognize dual citizenship, so this connection becoming established creases the forehead. Then last year, it was discovered how the Chi-Coms tabbed Gu as one of a pair of Olympic athletes they dedicated millions of dollars towards her training. The government worked to erase any reference to this support, eliminating Gu’s name from the government documents and memory-holing media reports mentioning this program. This is the kind of built-in intrigue that the press should salivate over.

Instead, our media responded to this with blaring silence. And despite her relationship with the Communist leadership being more extensive than draping a different flag over her shoulders, you will not find challenging questions or calls for her to condemn the Chi-Com human rights abuses from the press. That is only reserved for those competing for the nation that allows their bleating to take place.

Gu instead has been hailed by our media. There was a glowing profile on “The Today Show”, and almost every news item about her is favorable, with no more than perfunctory mention of her shift in national allegiance. Time Magazine decided that, despite the U.S. sending over 200 athletes to Cortina, they would grant Gu a cover profile.

The nadir of hypocrisy was seen from Nicolle Wallace, who gushed over Gu for comments against the government. Not the commie authoritarians, but the Trump administration. Nicky not only praised her for speaking out against the administration’s comments on the athlete complaints, but she said Gu was “more brave than most” for speaking out against our president, not Xi.

This is completely bizarre logic. Eileen is dubbed a warrior, as she remains mum about the oppressive government she represents, and the press will not dare to even broach the topic of China. Yet they claim all involved are “brave”, including themselves. Then there is the paradox of Gu saying the political comments from the White House shamefully take away from the spirit of the Olympics, after the press DEMANDED that politics be dredged up at the games.

This is the press wanting discussions to go in only one direction, decrying responses after encouraging the initial provocative commentary. Shying away from any mention of the Chinese leadership is the polar opposite of brave; it is shriveling in the face of communist reprisals, both for the athlete and for the corporate media.

How Deep Is the Deep State?

How Deep Is the Deep State?

The deep state resists exposure—but not forever. Patience, persistence, and power may yet cauterize the Leviathan.

How deep is the deep state?  That’s a question I have thought and written about a lot.  I had something to say about it recently at The Spectator on the occasion of Abigail Spanberger’s recent election as governor of Virginia. It saddens me to report that every time I think I have taken the measure of the Leviathan that is the deep state, new precincts and vistas open up beyond the boundaries I had delineated.

Sometimes I think the deep state is like an onion. Peel back one layer, and another layer presents itself.

Sometimes I think it is like a basement with an endless procession of sub-basements. Excavate one, and you encounter another below it.  It is like that bit of Hindu cosmology that envisions the world resting on the back of a turtle, which rests on the back of a larger turtle, which rests on the back of a still larger turtle.  Asked what that larger turtle stands upon, the answer is that it is “turtles all the way down.”

That said, I suspect that the difficulty in surveying the deep state is not its depth but its extent.  That is, I suspect that its roots are shallow while its area is both indefinitely large and protean.

The deep state also seems to resemble the Lernaean Hydra of Greek mythology.  Hercules was sent to dispatch this multi-headed monster in the second of his twelve labors. Not only did the beast have poisonous breath, but its blood was so toxic that even its scent was fatal. Furthermore, the hydra had this alarming characteristic: if you cut off one of its heads, two grew back in its place. Hercules overcame this problem by having the stump of each head cauterized as soon as he had cut it off.

Another curious feature of the deep state is that exposure often fails to elicit effective condemnation.  This is due in part to the propaganda arm of the deep state, sometimes called “the media,” which does not so much report the news as echo the narrative fabricated by the deep state.

Consider the revelations about the Somali fraud in Minneapolis.  I thought, and I continue to think, that that massive fraud perpetrated by Democrats will (to continue with Hercules) cauterize one head of the deep state hydra.  What is interesting, though, is the alacrity with which the deep state stepped up to replace or at least drown out that revelation with the cacophony about ICE murdering innocent protestors.  At the end of the day, I do not think that gambit will work in the court of public opinion. If you drive your car into an ICE agent, you should first be sure that your life insurance premiums are current.  The same can be said about carrying a military-grade handgun to a protest and then getting into a fight with ICE agents.  It’s not a recipe for longevity.

Nor has the deep state been effective in countering the ongoing revelations pouring out of Georgia about voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Democrats have denounced the actions of the Trump administration, going so far as to try to prevent it from investigatingelection records, ballot boxes, and voting machines across the country.  A bad look, that.

Also ham-handed was the attempt by Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) to smear Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, over a fake whistleblower complaint. Gabbard skewered that effort like Errol Flynn dispatching a baddie. “It is a hoax,” Gabbard wrote on X. “And they don’t even bother rewriting the script: same deep state, same counsel, same playbook. Democrats in Congress & the propaganda media fall in line every time.”

You can’t blame the Democrats for wanting to shut up Gabbard.  She has been one of the administration’s most effective tools for exposing deep state corruption.  The latest revelations concern the direct, personal involvement of Barack Obama in the effort to take down Donald Trump in the aftermath of his election to the presidency in 2016. Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, outlined the findings in a press conference with Gabbard:

While pretending to engage in a peaceful transfer of power, Barack Hussein Obama, in private, went to great and nefarious lengths to sow discord among the public and sabotage his successor, President Trump.

The new evidence released by the Director of National Intelligence confirms that the Obama administration manufactured and politicized intelligence, which was later used as justification for baseless smears against President Trump—an effort to delegitimize his victory before he even took the oath of office.

The truth is that President Trump never had anything to do with Russia, and the Russia collusion hoax was a massive fraud perpetrated on the American people from the very beginning. The worst part is that Obama knew the truth, as did all the other officials involved, including former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and many others.

I suspect that other stumps are about to be cauterized. Last summer, in another meditation about the persistence of the deep state, I drew upon J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books to describe its astonishing longevity.  Voldemort, Rowling’s chief villain, had a clever way of preserving himself. Rightly worried that the forces of good might try to destroy him, the Dark Lord devised a way of infusing living bits of himself into various objects and people. Rowling called the resulting magical charm a “Horcrux.”

“If the body of a Horcrux owner is killed,” we read in a Potter gloss, “that portion of the soul that had remained in the body does not pass on to the next world, but will rather exist in a non-corporeal form capable of being resurrected by another wizard.” Nice work if you can get it. As I said last July,

I have often wondered whether the architects of the deep state have been inspired by Rowling’s tale. For, like Voldemort, they have taken care to distribute their essence in external objects and institutions. Wizards like Donald Trump and Elon Musk pronounce anathema upon their activities. They cast death spells that evaporate the elixir that imparts life—dollars in all their glory—but somehow the deep staters manage to evade death.

One problem is that a Horcrux cannot be destroyed by conventional means. It cannot be destroyed by being smashed, ripped, or burnt, for example. What is needed is Basilisk venom, the Sword of Gryffindor, or a magical, inextinguishable flame. You won’t find any at your local Costco or Walmart.

That’s one bit of bad news. Another is that it is generally difficult to discover where a Horcrux resides.  Often, they take up residence in unlikely people or places. How many smiling GOP faces, ostensibly anti-deep state campaigners, are actually hosts for the agents of darkness?

One bit of good news is that Donald Trump and his lieutenants, like Hercules, have unraveled the mystery and the methods of the deep state.  Initiatives like the SAVE Act, for example, which requires individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections, will help frustrate the efforts of the deep state to rig elections.

What is needed to destroy the deep state is patience, persistence, and power.  Donald Trump, in his second term, has marshaled all three. The deep state is clever. It is insidious. But it is not invulnerable. Trump and his team have assembled an extraordinary range of legal and political weapons to undo the machinations of the deep state. Trump has also managed a sort of economic miracle, bringing down inflation and the cost of many consumer goods while boosting wages, the stock market, and employment.

Will all that be sufficient unto the day? I hope so. I think so. It is not too much to say that the future of the republic depends on its being so.

Legend: Czech Politician Dunks All Over a Furious Hillary Clinton for Her TDS in Great Exchange in Munich

RedState

I reported earlier how Hillary Clinton was at the Munich Security Conference speaking on a panel, "The West-West Divide: What Remains of Common Values."

Clinton made a pretty stunning comment that migration had gone "too far, it's been disruptive and destabilizing." That's a big indictment of the Democratic policies over the last several years, whether she understands that or not. The big question was why she was saying it. Was it because she's trying to paint the Democrats as more moderate than the yare as they scream about abolishing ICE? Maybe, but that isn't going to work, given the mess they made of securing the border and dealing with illegal aliens.

She also appeared to attack the Trump administration's approach to dealing with the mess that Joe Biden left him, which is a disgraceful thing to do while overseas.

But while she was attacking U.S. policy, she got called out by a Czech politician who was on the panel,

Petr Macinka, a Czech deputy prime minister, took her to task, "First, I think you really don't like him."

"You know, that is absolutely true," Clinton said. Then she tried to tell him what to do when it comes to Trump, "But not only do I not like him, but I don't like what he's actually doing to the United States and the world, and I think you should take a hard look at it if you think there is something good that will come of it." She's still so burnt that Trump beat her, even ten years later.

Macinka explained that what led to Trump winning was how extreme the left had become. "Well, what Trump is doing in America, I think, is a reaction. Reaction for some policies that really went too far, too far from the regular people."

He then referred to things like cancel culture, the "woke" revolution, and gender ideologies, while Hillary made faces next to him.

"Which gender, women having their rights?" Clinton snarked. Of course, not believing there are 44 genders in no way offends women's rights. She knows that, but dishonestly attacks him. Indeed, it's the people who believe that men are women who have often stomped on women's rights in such things as the right to be safe in women's locker rooms.

Macinka didn't let her get away with that. He said there were two genders and the rest was a social construct that went too far.

Hillary's response didn't even make any sense, given the topic. "Does that justify selling out Ukraine, who are on the front lines dying to save their freedom and their two genders, if that's what you're worried about?"

What did any of that have to do with Ukraine? Plus, it's Trump who's been trying to end the war, while Democrats seem to be content to let it go on forever, pouring our money out into it endlessly.

Macinka started laughing at how desperate and angry she was, "I'm sorry, this makes you nervous." You could hear other laughs as well. She really doesn't take being challenged very well. The problem with her is that she's so twisted, she can't hide it. But the rest of the world sees it.

Good for Macinka! He shouldn't have had to do it. But he had to, because she doesn't care how her words might hurt the U.S., as long as she's attacking Trump. The difference between her and someone like the present Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is striking.

This is why she didn't win, because people can see right through her, both here and abroad. We are so lucky Trump won.

Thomas Massie Gives Update on His Epstein File Mission

Kentucky congressman Thomas Massie appears on ABC This Week with Martha Raddatz to assert his position as our nation’s ultimate judge of morality and righteousness and pass judgement upon any individual that does not meet his expectation or standard.

Against the backdrop of billionaire leftist Reid Hoffman who has financed most of the claims promoted by Epstein victims for use by Representative Massie, the congressman pledges to remain on task.  Hoffman never called as a witness. Video and Transcript below.

[TRANSCRIPT] – RADDATZ: I’m joined now by Republican Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who helped lead the efforts to release the Epstein files.

Good morning to you, Congressman.

I would like your overall reaction to the hearing this week and Pam Bondi’s performance, combativeness.

REP. THOMAS MASSIE, (R) KENTUCKY & JUDICIARY COMMITTEE MEMBER: I don’t think she did very well. She came with a book full of insults, one for each congressperson. She obviously had one for me.

And, you know, I’ve been there when Merrick Garland was there. Obviously, politically, I don’t agree with him, but he performed much better in terms of at least not looking bad. And, unfortunately, we didn’t get the answers we wanted about the Epstein Files Transparency Act from her.

RADDATZ: You — did you get any of the answers you wanted?

MASSIE: No, but she did come off her script and engage with me about this production of documents where she admitted that 40 minutes after I pointed out to the DOJ that they had over-redacted some of the documents, they did unredacted documents. So, it’s clear they’ve made mistakes in the document production. At least she acknowledges that tacitly. And it’s clear that their work is not done here yet.

RADDATZ: And I want to go to those — some of those unredacted files. Congressman Ro Khanna said names of some of the men who were redacted shouldn’t have been redacted. They then sent that back to you, and two of them were not redacted. But on Friday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche accused you and Congressman Khanna of unmasking those people, saying they had nothing to do with Epstein or Maxwell. They were from an FBI line-up years ago.

What’s your response to that?

MASSIE: Well, three hours before Todd Blanche himself unredacted those names, I told him in an X post, which I know he read because he reposted it, that those may be men in a line-up. And then I went on TV and said, those may be men in a line-up. And it was actually the DOJ who released those names, which is fine, but they omitted the context that I provided, which is these may be in a line-up.

Now, there were two men who needed to be named, one of whom has already resigned, the Emirate, a sultan, resigned for — as a CEO of a very large company because we released his name.

And there’s another man, Leslie Wexner, I’ll add him to the list with Jes Staley and Leon Black, who need to be investigated right now. They’ve appeared in these files.

Leslie Wexner is the one who — you know, Pam Bondi said, oh, he’s appeared thousands of times in these documents. We’re not covering up anything. But I pointed out to her, they redacted his name from the one document that says “child sex trafficking co-conspirator.”

And my question is, who is the person at DOJ who redacted Leslie Wexner’s name from a document titled “child sex trafficking” with “co-conspirator” next to this name?

(CROSSTALK)

RADDATZ: And I want to say right now that Wexner denies and they say he was not a co-conspirator. Wexner has a statement: The assistant U.S. attorney told Mr. Wexner’s legal counsel in 2019 that Mr. Wexner was neither co-conspirator nor target in any respect. Mr. Wexner cooperated full by providing background information on Epstein and was never contacted again.

But I’d like to move on, if we can.

MASSIE: Yeah.

RADDATZ: Yesterday, the DOJ sent Congress a letter explaining the reason for all these reactions. So, you are not satisfied with that?

MASSIE: No, they’re citing deliberative process privilege in order not to release some of the documents. The problem with that is the bill that Ro Khanna and I wrote says that they must release internal memos and notes and emails about their decisions on whether to prosecute or not prosecute, whether to investigate or not investigate.

It’s important they follow that because then we could find why they didn’t prosecute Leslie Wexner. What was the decision tree there? And also, why, in 2008 they gave Jeffrey Epstein such a light sentence?

And finally, I know the DOJ wants to say they’re done with this document production. The problem is they’ve taken down documents before we were able to go over to the DOJ and look at the unredacted versions. They took down some of the most significant documents. Two of them involving Virginia Giuffre’s case and other things, the picture of Epstein at — in a room where it’s — got CIA written on the boxes. That’s been taken down.

We want to be able to look at all these files. They can’t keep those documents down after they’ve already produced them.

RADDATZ: I want to talk to you about one of the moments in this hearing, and that is the attorney general would not look at the Epstein survivors behind her. Did that surprise you?

MASSIE: I think that was kind of cold on her part. I think she was afraid to.

And look, these survivors would love to have a meeting. It’s not about Bill Clinton, and it’s not about Donald Trump. This Epstein Files Transparency Act was about getting these survivors justice.

We’ve got some degree of transparency, but it’s called the Department of Justice, not the department of transparency.

And so, what these survivors need, they need to see some of their own 302 forms, which haven’t been released, and they also need to see some of the men that they’ve implicated prosecuted.

RADDATZ: Do you still have confidence in Pam Bondi as Attorney General?

MASSIE: I don’t think Pam Bondi has confidence in Pam Bondi. She wasn’t confident enough to engage in anything, but name calling in a hearing. And so, no, I don’t have confidence in her. She hasn’t got any sort of accountability there at the DOJ.

When I asked her specifically, who redacted Leslie Wexner’s name from the one document that mattered, she couldn’t give me an answer, she wouldn’t give me an answer. But ultimately, it’s her who is responsible for the document production according to our law, the attorney general.

It’s not Todd Blanche. It’s not the people below them. You can assign tasks to people but you can’t assign your responsibility.

RADDATZ: And just very quickly, if you will. You’ve supported most of what Donald Trump has done during his presidency. Because of your actions with these files, he is supporting your primary opponent and has waged very personal attacks on you.

I know we just have a few seconds here. But just your reaction to that.

MASSIE: Look, this is about the Epstein class, the people who are funding the attacks against me. They may or may not be implicated in these files, but they were certainly rubbing shoulders with the people who are in these files. They’re billionaires who are friends with these people. And that’s what I’m up against in Washington, D.C.

Donald Trump told us that even though, you know, he had dinner with these kinds of people in New York City and West Palm Beach, that he would be transparent. But he’s not. He’s still in with the Epstein class. This is the Epstein administration, and they’re attacking me for trying to get these files released.

RADDATZ: And again, I’m going to say, President Trump has not been accused of anything criminal here.

Thank you very much for joining us this morning, Congressman. We appreciate it.

MASSIE: Thank you. Thank you, Martha.

It is rather curious that congress has no interest in calling any of the state or federal officials, including the FBI, to give testimony as to the outcomes of their prior investigations.  Show us what was actually done instead of theater. But no, theater seemingly has a greater value.
