Jasmine Crockett: Fake Progressive Hero of the Year

Before 2024, I don’t really remember hearing the name Jasmine Crockett. I probably did, I can’t believe her stupidity can be contained in one year. But she hit peak idiot in 2025, which means she rose in the esteem of liberals across the country over the last year, which lands her on our list of progressive heroes for the year, naturally.

It’s hard to know where Crockett begins, with 50 pounds of fake hair woven into her head to make Cousin It look bald. Maybe horse hair lowers IQ points? Then again, I can’t imagine anyone could be this stupid without actually trying, and Jasmine’s efforts must be exhausting

This spoiled rich kid who went to the best private schools her family’s money could buy, code-switches into fake Ebonics when talking to a black audience. Seems weird that someone famous for crying racism over literally everything (defending ideals she doesn’t have the mental capacity to understand is an awful lot like work) would engage in the ultimate racism – assuming minorities can only relate to someone if they speak like an illiterate boob.

Jasmine Crockett speaks with black audiences the way every uptight white guy in a bad Hollywood movie does, only she means it.

As a child, her family sent her to the Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School, an expensive private school with tuition costs currently at $26,530 for elementary school and $37,090 for high school

Jasmine doesn’t talk much about this, or the fact that her family had the money to blow on her education (or why the public schools in the St. Louis area weren’t good enough for this voucher-opposing moron to attend), she just spends most of her time in public trying to act like she didn’t attend it. Like she grew up on “the streets.” She is the ultimate poverty tourist.

Of course, were anyone other than a Democrat with the loyalty to the party’s agenda being that of an abused dog to do the same thing, Jasmine would cry racism like it was an Olympic event and she was going for the gold. The loudest victims are always the biggest perps, aren’t they?

Now, after having her district go from a gerrymandered easy win for Democrats to one that no longer favors her because of her party, she is quitting. For all the tough talk about being a fighter, she sure is quick to run away from one when it presents itself.

Not wanting to squander the attention she’d weaseled herself into, and preferring to not have to get a real job (there are no current openings on MS Now, plus they don’t hire black people as daily hosts anyway), Crockett is opting for the Stacey Abrams career path.

You’d be surprised how much money you can make as a professional candidate. You can pay yourself a salary, though not a huge one. Still, you can cover almost all of your living expenses, as long as they are “campaign related.” Anyone who’s ever been on a “business lunch” with a friend who says, “Business is good, we’re working on X,” then moves on to quickly announce they will pick up the bill because you discussed business knows how this racket works. Running state wide in Texas will require a car, gas, meals, hotels, clothes, pretty much everything you can imagine – perfectly legal corruption. Then, when she loses, there might be a white person who left MS Now and maybe private school Jasmine could be in the running.

Crockett, in a campaign for Senate email, wrote, “Trump and his Republicans are throwing every insult in the book my way because they know that no matter what, I’ll always stand up for the truth — and nothing terrifies them more than accountability. From blowing open his Epstein cover-up to standing against Republicans’ racist and corrupt attacks on working families across the country, I’ve won some of the toughest fights against Republicans in the House.”

As honest as a Democrat, as loyal as a dog and as dumb as a rock.

Jasmine Crockett has won exactly zero fights in the House, never having had a piece of legislation even come up for a vote, let alone pass and become law. But anyone inclined to give her money has a head full of rocks, thinking she’s done anything other than made-for-TV monologues. She’s like Anthony Weiner was – a TV politician with no accomplishments or original thoughts, only she probably has fewer crotch shot pics sent to kids.

If Jasmine Crockett didn’t exist, Republicans wouldn’t even try to create her because no one would believe she’s real, or other Democrats would cry racism over the character she plays depending on the color of the audience she’s speaking to.

But she does exist, and thank God for that. The real Jasmine Crockett may excite Democrats, but non-political people are turned off by the racist garbage, fake cadence, square yard of horse hair and caterpillar eyelashes and 20 feet of Lee Press-On Nails. She’s actually quite helpful to the GOP, as she is the type of person Americans enjoy voting against.

Congratulations, Jasmine, you're a progressive hero of 2025.

'Best' way to wrap up a challenging year: Small cold 🙄

The Founders’ Understanding Of The Phrase ‘Natural Born Citizen’

For the Founders, only the children of citizens are themselves “natural born citizens.”

Who shall be considered natural-born citizens? The term “natural born citizen” first appears in Article II, Section 1, and Amendment XII of the Constitution. For the Framers to have used such a term without explanation means there must have been a commonly understood, contemporary definition—and, in fact, there was. This definition can be found in Book 1, Sections 212-217, of “Law of Nations,” by the Franco-Swiss political philosopher, Emerich de Vattel, and first published in 1758.

§212. Citizens and natives. The citizens are the members of the civil society: bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights ... I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.

§213. Inhabitants. The inhabitants, as distinguished from citizens, are foreigners, who are permitted to settle and stay in the country.

There is no doubt that the Framers were aware of this work, cited it, and relied on many of its concepts and terms. How do we know all this? Because the Framers told us so in their writings. Benjamin Franklin wrote this to Charles Dumas on December 9, 1775.

I am much obliged by the kind present you have made us of your edition of Vattel. It came to us in good season, when the circumstances of a rising state make it necessary frequently to consult the law of nations. Accordingly, that copy which I kept, (after depositing one in our own public library here, and sending the other to the college of Massachusetts Bay, as you directed) has been continually in the hands of the members of our congress, now sitting, who are much pleased with your notes and preface, and have entertained a high and just esteem for their author.

This means that the Framers were well aware of de Vattel’s work fully 12 years before the Constitutional Convention. Franklin himself was a member of both Continental Congresses and the Constitutional Convention.

When George Washington died, his list of overdue library books included a copy of The Law of Nations.

If you want more evidence that the Framers were aware of de Vattel’s definition of natural born citizenship, look at the stated reason for imposing this qualification on the office of President, taken from a letter John Jay wroteto George Washington on July 25, 1787:

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government, and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolved on, any but a natural born Citizen.

Clearly, the object of the “natural born citizen” qualification was to exclude from the Presidency, as much as possible, foreigners, dual citizens, and those with strong foreign sympathies. de Vattel’s definition exactly satisfies this goal, and it is logical to infer that the Framers used the term because it best expressed their intentions.

Anyone who tells you the Framers were ignorant of de Vattel’s work or his definition of natural born citizenship is simply mistaken or worse.

In the years since the Framers’ time, and particularly since the ill-conceived 1898 decision in United States v. Wong Kim Ark (another misstep of the same Court that decided the Plessy v. Ferguson segregation case in 1896), the waters surrounding natural-born citizenship have muddled. What really muddied the waters was the 14th Amendment’s citizenship clause.

The authors of that text never mentioned natural-born citizenship or the qualifications for the presidency during its ratification debates, making it clear that the amendment was not intended to change any of that. The intent and debate surrounding birthright citizenship are topics worthy of their own discussion and will not be addressed here.

By 1875, the 14th Amendment had already influenced perceptions of who was a natural-born citizen. This can be seen in 1875’s Minor v. Happersett, in which Chief Justice Morrison Waite wrote,

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. (Emphasis mine.)

Notice that Waite all but literally quoted de Vattel, but added the portion in bold, which neither appeared in de Vattel nor does it agree with the Framers’ goal to exclude foreign influence from the Presidency.

Wong Kim Ark, as noted, confused things. In it, SCOTUS found that Wong Kim Ark, by virtue of birth to immigrant parents on U.S. soil, was by birthright a U.S. citizen despite neither of his parents possessing such citizenship; in essence, the now-controversial “jus soli” birthright citizenship.

Today, a great many, if not most Americans, have come to believe that birth on U.S. soil, regardless of parentage, is natural born citizenship. Clearly, persons of this description are not isolated from foreign influence as the Framers had clearly desired. Therefore, they cannot be the natural-born citizens the Framers envisioned.

It is worth noting that if we apply the tests of Wong Kim Ark to Kamala Harris, she does not even qualify as a U.S. citizen, much less a natural-born citizen. Note what the case requires:

The Supreme Court held that citizenship as prescribed in the Fourteenth Amendment extends to U.S.-born children of foreign subjects or citizens who, at the time of the child’s birth, are permanent residents and are carrying on business in the United States. (Emphasis mine.)

Kamala Harris’s parents were not lawful permanent residents at the time of her birth, but were present on academic visitor visas.

It should be clear from these facts that, owing to their foreign parentage and upbringing, neither Barack Obama nor Kamala Harris was, or is, qualified for the offices of President and Vice President, since neither is a natural-born citizen of the United States as the Framers understood that term. Since a significant part of our judiciary, Congress, and Executive Branch have been unable to discern this truth, we require a Constitutional Amendment to clarify the meaning of the term, ‘natural born citizen.’

Proposed Amendment XXIX

“No person but born of two citizen parents permanently residing in the United States is a natural born citizen of the United States.”

How Jobs Become ‘Jobs Americans Just Won’t Do’

I’m seeing it happen in real time.

In the eighties, I had a friend who worked for me on and off.  He was a competent handyman and could do an oil change without screwing it up, something that was always useful in an auto shop, which I ran.  Eventually, however, he got a better paying job as a drywaller.

Anyone who has ever done a home project with even a small drywall repair knows how difficult it is not to have even a small repair stick out like a sore thumb.  Stevie was good and patient.  He has that ability to measure with his eye.  And so he was a very good drywaller, making a respectable wage with some benefits.

But about a decade later, he came back to my shop, needing work.  He explained that his business had been taken over by mostly Hispanic workers, who worked as sub-contractors and were paid not by the hour, but by the number of sheets of drywall they hung.  No benefits, of course.  Their work may not have been great, but it was acceptable.

In all likelihood, many if not most of these new drywallers were illegal aliens.  And in a one-decade cycle, drywalling became one of those jobs Americans just won’t do.

There is no such thing as a job Americans just won’t do.  There are jobs Americans don’t want to or can’t get hired to do at the prevailing wage.

Some guys have the balance of a cat. They can walk on a 60-degree slope as easily as I walk on a treadmill.  They tend to make good roof, chimney, and gutter masters if these are the fields they choose to enter.  A fair number of guys would do this work when it pays a fair wage with benefits to cover the risk.  I would say that in today’s market, that would start $35 an hour up to $45 and top out at $65 to $75 an hour.  But not too many guys would want to do that kind of work for $15–$20 an hour, paid in cash, to illegal aliens.  And if one of those illegal aliens happens to roll off a roof, he will be dropped off at the emergency room with instructions to “no hablar.”  The taxpayers, not the contractors, will pay the medical bills.

Being a truck driver used to be a respectable “lower middle class” job.  Most respectable truck-driving jobs require a CDL (commercial driver’s license) which once required a certain level of study, integrity, and skill to obtain.  Now we are discovering the wonders of the “non-domiciled” CDL, which seems to have no function other than to act as a pipeline to allow a mass of migrants, many illegal, to poach those good jobs and turn them into “jobs Americans just won’t do” by running the wages down and destroying the fair working conditions that limit driving hours, so that zombified drivers running on caffeine and other unregulated stimulants don’t turn our roads into scenes from The Road Warrior.  According to Victor Davis Hanson, this has already happened in his part of California.  And it’s not just the “open road truckers.”

I work maintaining a large fleet of cars and trucks, and we regularly “out service” vehicles.  Once they have been stripped of our logos, radios, and specialized equipment, the company we pay to help manage the fleet arranges to pick them up (they must be towed out), and eventually they go to auction.  Vendors call contractors, who call sub-contractors.  And at the bottom of that chain, someone shows up at my lot with a flatbed truck or trailer to haul the vehicles away.

Three years ago, the men at the end of this chain showed up with tow trucks and flatbeds and seemed “American” in their speech and demeaner.  Over the past year and half, this has changed.  Guys wearing shorts and sandals (not a scrap of safety gear, such as boots or steel-toed shoes, or at least long pants) with little to no English started showing up with what looked like converted landscaper’s trailers pulled by pickup trucks.  Often, they could not communicate and spoke into their phones in strange tongues (not Spanish).  Through inquiry, I found that most of these guys came from “the Stans” (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan...also one from the Republic of Georgia).  It was clear from their frequent phone calls that they were directed by personnel located outside the United States.  How did they get here?  Who found this loophole to take over this seemingly insignificant industry?  What lack of laws, regulation, and common sense allows this?

So another set of jobs is suddenly “work Americans won’t do.”

There seems to be no stopping of the flow of immigrants, legal, illegal with green cards, without green cards, with H1-B visas and without.  I truly believe that the president is doing all he can do, but now it is time for Congress to step up to the plate and call a halt to all immigration for 25 years.  If there is a dire refugee crisis somewhere, then refugee camps can be set up outside the United States that can act as true temporary safe havens for genuine refugees.  If there is a group of refugees who seem like a good fit into our culture, Congress can go into session, carve out and exemption, and pass it.

But perhaps Congress as envisioned in the Constitution is just one more job Americans won’t do.

The Left’s Top 25 Lies Of 2025

From the ‘Maryland man’ to that ‘misleading edit,’ liberals flooded the zone with falsities aimed again at stopping Trump. They failed.

If it felt like 2025 was just one big psyop orchestrated by the Democrat Party and its accomplice media stooges, that’s because in many ways, it was.

Learning nothing from the political and ratings beatings they took in 2024, the left and its corporate media allies doubled down on twisting the truth during the first year of Trump 2.0. Here are the top 25 lies of 2025:

1. The ‘Maryland Man’

Illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia has allegedly made a career out of smuggling fellow illegal aliens. Law enforcement officials in 2019 found him with “rolls of cash and drugs,” hanging out with members of the vicious MS-13 gang, as the Department of Homeland Security detailed. Abrego Garcia’s wife sought a protective order against him and said he physically abused her.

But when the Trump administration deported the criminal illegal immigrant, Abrego Garcia was transformed into a “Maryland man” by shameless liars like Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen. The Democrat, assisted by a shameless corporate media, painted a picture of a gentle migrant “wrongly” caught in the Department of Homeland Security’s cruel campaign to round up the “undocumented” and remove them from their adopted country. DHS rightly called out the twisted narrative for what it was — one of the biggest lies of ’25.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia is not and will never be a Maryland Man—he is a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and public safety threat,” a senior DHS official said in August. Democrats and liberal activist federal judges have chosen to stand by their phony “Maryland man” in defiance of the separation of powers and in the pursuit of paralyzing President Trump’s campaign promise to clean up the illegal immigration mess Democrats left him.

2. Lies About ICE

Liberals and their corporate media water-carriers have been caught in myriad lies about Immigration & Customs Enforcement operations. As The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd reported in tracking the lies Dems and the media are peddling to demonize ICE, CBS News did some serious spinning. The network news outlet reported a U.S. citizen was “forcibly removed from her car” and temporarily held in custody. CBS had to acknowledge that the woman was detained after she “refused to present her driver’s license and roll down her window when stopped.” And DHS clarified that she “was driving her illegal alien boyfriend’s car (who had been arrested prior)” and “refused to comply with law enforcement’s repeated lawful orders to identify herself.”

3. ‘Kidnapping People’

Sadly, law enforcement in sanctuary cities have gotten in on the ICE lies. As Boyd reported, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara urged residents to call 911 on “masked” people who “may be kidnapping people.” In other words, call the cops on ICE agents who are enforcing federal law.

“The community should know that if you see something like that that is legitimate, you don’t know if someone is law enforcement, you should call 911, and you should provide as much information as possible,” the chief said.

4. ‘Shipwrecked Sailors’

Democrats have had a hard time with meanings. And they sure have struggled of late understanding the difference between “shipwrecked sailors” and enemy combatants climbing back into their burning drug-running boat to fight for control of their poisonous cargo. The Dems scream, “War Crimes!” and call for Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s head. But their latest political sortie against Trump and company can’t escape a bombardment of the truth. Just ask the Washington Post and its egregiously bad hit piece that collapsed under the weight of shoddy reporting

5. Illegal Alien Superintendent

Sometimes liberals are the unwitting victims of lies. And often others get hurt by their woke preferences. Case in point, the liberal-led Des Moines Public School Board. Its members were duped by Ian Roberts, the Guyana-born illegal immigrant they hired to lead Iowa’s largest public school system. It turns out Roberts was a criminal illegal alien with gun and reckless driving convictions, along with drug-related charges, on his rap sheet, as ICE documented in October. The agency also revealed that Roberts, who had overstayed his legal right to be here, was carrying “a loaded handgun, hunting knife and $3,000 cash” in his car at the time of his arrest. The educrat was hired by urban school districts over and over again — Des Moines the latest, in spite of his lying about his qualifications. Why? Probably because Roberts fit their DEI priorities.

6. One Stupid Step for Womankind

Lasting less than 11 minutes, the much-heralded “all-female” space flight on Jeff Bezos’ super phallic-shaped Blue Origin rocket was perhaps the stupidest lie of the year. Katy PerryLauren Sanchez, and Oprah’s BFF, Gayle King, were the featured crew on this over-hyped, Space Mountain-esque ride. Perry dramatically kissed the ground upon touching down from the brief trip into “space,” and King compared the voyage to pioneer astronaut Alan Shepard’s historic trek.

7. Ukraine on the Verge of Victory

Arguably the most deadly lie of the year is that corrupt Ukraine can survive the brutal war with corrupt Russia long enough to achieve a better peace deal. That logic is the stuff of the military industrial complex, its congressional beneficiaries, and the delusional Ukraine flag-wavers. Iuliia Mendel, press secretary for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from 2019 to 2021, disabused the delusional sanguinity of that notion, asserting that things are only getting worse for her beloved country.

“My country is bleeding out,” Mendel wrote last month on X. “Many who reflexively oppose every peace proposal believe they are defending Ukraine. With all respect, that is the clearest proof they have no idea what is actually happening on the front lines and inside the country right now.”

8. Shutdown Meltdown

The longest and dumbest government shutdown in U.S. history was more kabuki theater from Democrats. They did what they always do in such standstills: They blamed Republicans. And, again, corporate media, helped nurture the lie. But the Democrats own this shutdown. They refused to pass a clean continuing resolution (the refuge of a modern Congress that refuses to do its job) offered by Republicans to keep the government open. Instead, the liberals held on to costly Covid-era Obamacare subsidies that should have gone away with the departure of the pandemic. They lost big and ended the year getting nothing from their month-plus temper tantrum.

9. The Autopen Presidency

The lies of the Biden era came into sharper focus this year. In many ways, we got more details on what we already knew: Joe Biden was a PINO, a President in Name Only. That became startlingly clear with revelations about the Biden administration’s, well, liberal use of the autopen. It was so bad that the House Oversight Committee’s report on the scandal deemed void “all executive actions signed by the autopen without proper, corresponding, contemporaneous, written approval traceable to the president’s own consent.”

10. SAVE Lies

Nearly every House Democrat voted against a bill requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. Dems insist there is no need for the SAVE (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) Act because federal law already makes it a felony for a noncitizen to vote in federal elections. But that’s a flawed honor system, to say the least. Noncitizens are showing up on state voter rolls across the country. Dems made their usual specious claims that the SAVE Act would disenfranchise voters and be a hardship, in particular, for recently married women who have changed their names. Their disinformation campaign was readily assisted by the Pravda Press.

11. Epstein Deceit

When you think corporate media can’t sink any lower, the bottom falls out. The left’s desperate campaign to tie Trump to dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has imploded at every turn, even as the accomplice media look past the records showing the many Democrat connections. Earlier this month, several media outlets ran a black-and-white photo of a younger Trump posing with six young women. Democrats on the committee investigating the “Epstein files” distributed the photo with the faces of the women blacked out, “fueling speculation” from outlets like MS Now that he was surrounded by Epstein’s victims. Turns out the women were models for Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion, posing in a photo with a man one of the models described as “very gentlemanly” at an event at Trump’s home, according to The Telegraph. An unredacted version of the photo reveals the models to be “adult women,” the New York Post reported.

12. ‘Misleading Edit’

If the BBC can’t find the truth, it will invent it. The British government’s leftist propaganda broadcaster has come under fire for a “misleading edit,” as NPR described it, which debuted right before the 2024 election. The documentary Trump: A Second Chance? — commissioned by the BBC — “spliced” together separate parts of the president’s speech on the day of the Jan. 6, 2021 riots. The fabricated clip omitted the part of Trump’s speech in which he called for peaceful protest. BBC Chair Samir Shah apologized on behalf of the BBC, admitting that the clip gave “the mistaken impression that President Trump had made a direct call for violent action.” Trump is suing the media giant for $10 billion, alleging defamation.

13. California Scheming

When Gov. Gavin Newsom talks about “free and fair elections,” he means whatever is most politically expedient for the Democrat Party — and him. California’s slimy chief executive likes to say his state’s mid-decade gerrymandering to secure more Democrat congressional seats is all about “democracy.” It’s not. It’s revenge for red-state Texas’ redrawing of its maps to benefit Republicans. But Newsom, undoubtedly filled with sugarplum visions of himself in the White House, is very comfortable with the lie that California Democrats are manipulating the state’s political maps to save democracy.

15. Fascistizing

Sticking with their favorite attack line from 2024, Democrats continued to compare Trump, members of his administration, and plenty of Republicans to “Nazis” and “fascists,” because they are doing what they were elected to do. It seems they have forgotten what real fascism looks like. It is interesting that the guy whom the left likes to villainize as a Nazi presided over a historic peace deal protecting millions of Jews, even as Democrats rally behind anti-semites calling for the destruction of Israel.

16. Weaponizing Lies

An overseas publication declared that “Trump is weaponizing the DOJ to ‘bully, prosecute, punish and silence’ his foes.” That’s the gist of the left’s lie throughout the first year of the 47th president’s second nonconsecutive term. The hypocrisy is stunning. The Biden administration spent four years using the Justice Department and blue state law enforcement allies to target and prosecute their political enemies — Trump at the top of that list. Lies are the trusted tools of the hypocrite.

17. Jimmy Kimmel as Victim

When late-night cockroach Jimmy Kimmel momentarily lost his troubled gig for his abhorrent and absurd rant about slain conservative icon Charlie Kirk, his TDS-suffering defenders claimed Jimmy was the victim of a speech suppression campaign. ABC parent company Disney yanked Kimmel from the airwaves after he crudely and falsely attempted to link Kirk’s assassin to “the MAGA gang.” Hundreds of lefty celebrities and activists signed an open letter peddled by the far-left American Civil Liberties Union. They called Disney’s decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live! “a dark moment for freedom of speech in our nation.” It wasn’t. It was an employer disciplining an employee for saying something stupid that caused problems. Disney quickly capitulated and saved a late-night show watched by a declining number of poor souls.

18. Socialism Will Save Us

Ugandan-born communist Zohran Mamdani is soon to become New York City’s next mayor. Mamdani won the Big Apple’s top leadership post in large part on his promises that socialism would save the day. New Yorkers bought the lie. The purchase will prove very costly. As The Federalist previously reported, “Mamdani has reportedly voiced support for taxpayer subsidization of so-called ‘trans’ surgeries (including for minors) and health care for illegal aliensgovernment-owned grocery stores‘free’ bus fare and child carehiking the corporate tax rate, and limiting the NYPD’s ‘duties relating to mental-health crisis intervention, homelessness outreach and traffic ticketing,’ according to the [New York] Post.” Mamdani preached affordability in a city long run by liberals whose policies made life tremendously expensive for its 8.5 million residents.

19. Iran Doesn’t Want Nuclear Weapons

The Islamic regime had long protested claims that it was developing nuclear weapons while it was in the process of developing nuclear weapons. Democrats believed the lies, ultimately carrying water for one of the world’s leading sponsors of terrorism. Trump didn’t share his political opponents’ optimism. In June, the president sent Iran a message — and bunker buster bombs crippling the regime’s nuclear capabilities. Democrats went ballistic. Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., the Armed Services Committee ranking member, said “Trump has now started a war with Iran.” But the war Democrats predicted never arrived, and Iran’s nuclear threat was substantially diminished.

20. NPR Is ‘Unbiased’

In March, National Public Radio CEO Katherine Maher told a congressional committee that NPR delivers “unbiased, nonpartisan, fact-based reporting to Americans.” That was a bald-faced lie. The leftist executive and her public broadcasting colleagues claimed federal funding made up a very small portion of revenue. The outlet still came hat in hand when Republicans threatened to cut $1.1 billion in funding to public broadcasting. After they didNPR announced it was trimming its budget. The leftists controlling public broadcasting are learning what FAFO means.

21. The Fallacy of Mahmoud Khalil

The left has depicted the America-hating and Palestinian political organizer as a free speech casualty after the Trump administration ordered his deportation. Khalil, a Columbia University graduate student, has spent much of his collegiate time agitating on campus. He was a big player in the riotous and antisemitic “pro-Palestine” demonstrations that paralyzed Columbia. The Department of Homeland Security says Khalil led “activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization.” As the New York Post reported, “Khalil and Columbia United Apartheid Divest, which has vowed to escalate its tactics ‘until the empire crumbles,’ were among those taking part in the campus takeover at the start of the school year.” Columbia United Apartheid Divest “sympathizes with terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah,” according to the outlet.

22. Spartacus’ Long, Meaningless Speech

When grandstanding Democrat Sen. Cory Booker gassed on for 25 hours on the Senate floor, The Conversation insisted that Booker’s record-breaking speech offered “a strategy for Trump opponents in a fragmented media landscape.” The publication believed that Spartacus’ political stunt disrupted “the constant public spotlight on Trump.” It didn’t. It was pointless and self-serving. It changed no one’s mind. It proved an excruciatingly long exercise in futility.

23. Texas Floods Truth Twister

After powerful floods swept through the Texas Hill Country, killing at least 135 people, Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin said he was “personally praying that Donald Trump finally understands this is not a game — it’s real life and there are serious consequences to playing politics with our security and emergency preparedness.” Democrats hoped to lay the blame on Trump for staffing shortages at the National Weather Service. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called out the “depraved lie,” noting that “NWS offices in the region, including centers in San Antonio and San Angelo, were fully staffed and issued ‘timely and precise warnings,'” as The Federalist reported.

24. No Kings

In October, corporate media gleefully reported 2,500 “No Kings” events in communities across the country would push back on Trump’s “assault on America’s democratic foundations.” But the resistance movement backed by some of the biggest liberal sugar daddies isn’t a defense of democracy but an effort to protect the leftist power players and the system they control. “As such, when progressives say they are ‘protecting democratic norms’ they are in reality protecting their dominance within the unelected government bureaucracy, the mainstream media ecosystem, academia, and other institutions that operate beyond the reach of American voters, all of which Trump is seeking to either reform or dismantle,” Adam Johnston wrote in The Federalist.

25. The Lie That Lives On

In 2013, Politifact declared President Barack Obama’s false claims about Obamacare the “lie of the year.” Who could forget Obama’s promise that, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it?” That 12-year-old lie continues to resonate today in the broken, government-driven health insurance program. We’re living with the disastrous law Democrats created, one about which then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi infamously said, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
