'You Don't Have to Apologize for Being White Anymore' – JD Vance Brings the Heat to TPUSA AmFest
It’s been a busy weekend at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona, with speakers from DNI Tulsi Gabbard to Tucker Carlson to House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-4) to the Target employee who was harassed for wearing a Charlie Kirk T-shirt. On Sunday, Vice President JD Vance was there to deliver the closing keynote speech, and he delivered fire.
He honored slain TPUSA co-founder Charlie Kirk, who was shot down by an assassin in September.
Vice President JD Vance closed out Turning Point USA's AmericaFest Sunday with a call for action, encouraging the audience to "promise" to stand for Charlie Kirk's principles.
Vance recalled that in the days following Kirk's assassination, he rewatched video of the incident over and over, staying up late nights, trying to search for clues and "researching conspiracy theories."
"I owed it to Charlie," he said, adding, "I was consumed by fear."
"It is better to die a patriot than to live a coward," Vance said, adding that Kirk’s killing was a "kick in the teeth."
The VP covered a number of topics in his speech, which was a little over half an hour long, and numerous moments stood out. Noting that the Trump administration had been dedicated to stamping out discriminatory DEI practices in government and academia, Vance said white people no longer need to feel ashamed:

Vance continued, saying that America is first and foremost a Christian nation, a notion that will surely enrage leftists.
He clarified those remarks because he knew the lying media would try to demonize him:
The fake news media will twist everything that I say.
I’m not saying you have to be a Christian to be an American. I’m saying something simpler and truer. Christianity is America’s creed. The shared moral language from the Revolution, to the Civil War and beyond.
Speaking of leftists, Vance took the opportunity to mock Democrats, who seem to be in disarray and have only one unifying theme: despising Trump. We’re going to defeat them in the midterms, he vowed:
Let’s hope he’s right. From your lips to God’s ears, as the expression goes.
Vance, who was endorsed for president by Erika Kirk on the conference’s first night Thursday, touched on other subjects as well, including sexuality, vaccines, and more. He described the conservative movement as being tolerant and open, and anybody could be part of it as long as they met one key requirement: "The only thing that we demand is that you be a great American patriot. And if you're that, you're very much on our team."

Elections, Human Rights, News, Politics Citizens In Eastern Ukraine Will Not Be Allowed To Vote, Zelensky Says
President
Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that Ukraine and Washington are in talks about
holding elections, after earlier this month he much belatedly said while under
pressure from Trump that he's ready to allow national elections, so long as
they can be done fairly and freely.
Zelensky
indicated current discussions also hinge on the US and other partners
helping set the conditions so Ukrainians can vote in safety. He
previously stated the country could hold a vote within 60 days - but only if
there are security guarantees.
Already over
the weekend he erected more barriers to holding a vote, stipulating
that citizens in Eastern Ukraine would not be able to participate.
"Any
election in Ukraine can not be held in Russia-occupied parts of the
country," Zelensky
has been quoted in international press as
saying, and he once again added that a proper voting process can take place
only if security is ensured.
He has also lately said that Ukraine's foreign minister had started the initial work on the infrastructure needed for Ukrainians living abroad to participate.
The four oblasts that President Putin has called "our four new regions" and "our citizens forever" include Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions - and were annexed after a popular referendum during the first year of the war.
Putin has blasted Zelensky's rule as illegitimate given the canceled elections based on enacting a state of martial law, and President Trump has expressed increasing agreement with this perspective.
Still, Zelensky's new 'openness' with holding an election has been coupled with plenty of caveats and likely immense barriers. For example last week he said--
...that a ceasefire with Russia must be in place before elections can be held in Ukraine, "at least for the duration of the election process and voting". Ukrainian law forbids wartime elections but US President Donald Trump is pressuring Zelensky, whose term ended last year, to hold a vote.
But Trump this month finally put some real pressure on him, it appears. Given Zelensky had put the brakes on the US-proposed pace plan by definitively rejecting the territorial concessions aspects to the document, the US president's assessment in a recent Politico interview was blunt and highly critical, going so far as to basically call Ukraine not a democracy.
"They haven’t had an election in a long time," Trump said. "You know, they talk about a democracy, but it gets to a point where it's not a democracy anymore."

The EU is Out of Control
European leaders were forced to back down on stealing the Russian assets, and have agreed to keep Ukraine funded for two years with a loan of 90 billion euros, or about $105 billion. There is growing discontent within the EU, for a few countries I speak to are starting to realize that the EU is leading Europe to its utter destruction. NATO is pushing the EU into war. They are occupied by NEOCONS, including Americans who are using Europe to try to wage war, since they failed to defeat Trump.
Any peace deal with Russia means the death of NATO. Their entire existence depends on the old theory that Russia is communist and seeks the conquest of Europe. Those days are gone. They died in 1989. NATO should have been shut down then, when the WARSAW Pact collapsed. They pushed eastward and consumed the very Warsaw Pact countries. That is not enough for these NEOCONS. They are intent upon the conquest of Russia and are intent on unleashing WWIII. They are relentless.
The Neocons own the press. Every article begins with Putin losing, implying that we can take Russia with one hand tied behind their back. Putin invaded Ukraine unprovoked. As soon as an article says that, it is a NEOCON supporter. Russia has NO interest in occupying Europe. There is nothing of value in the EU. Trump is after Venezuela because it has the largest oil reserves in the world. Trump is not interested in invading Mexico or Guatemala. Any student of military history knows well that war is waged for profit. It is the EU that salivates over the conquest of Russia for its $75 trillion in natural resources. They actually are talking behind the cameras about how they will rise again to rule the world.
Stealing the Russian assets violates every principle of international law. NO country should have any assets parked in EUROPE – Period!. The EU will NOT survive! There are already discussions about jettisoning troubled countries like Italy, and the EU will be regrouped among only the northern member states. This is a failed system. The idea of a trade union quickly gained power, and the idea that they could dictate to every member, overruling their culture and imposing their dictatorial views, which were always extremely left-wing. They proved Margaret Thatcher correct.
That ambitious frozen-asset plan was killed at the 11th hour as European heads of state and government met in Brussels. There is a rift unfolding in the EU and this division risks pushing the EU ever closer to collapse because Brussels has lost its mind. They are desperate for money and that is what this war with Russia is all about. The NEOCONS control all of the press. Every article always claims Russia invaded Ukraine and has lost when Putin never intended to conquer all of Ukraine in the first place. The European press does NOT even try to report the news. It is always one-sided and the enemy is always anyone who is anti-war.
One must question how much in kick-backs are these EU leaders getting from Ukraine. It is no secret that billions are missing. Ukraine hosts one of the most corrupt governments in the world. The West and NATO have provided Ukraine with billions in funding but have been unable to track where the money is spent. They do not investigate where the money is spent because they also lack ethics and are only concerned that the war rages on. It comes as no surprise that Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has uncovered a major arms corruption scheme. Zelensky publicly admitted that half of all the money sent to Ukraine is unaccounted for. Yet not one EU leader even wants an investigation? WHY? Are they grabbing what they can before the EU collapses?
Ursula still refuses to release emails with Pfizer over what appears to be serious corruption. Ursula and Bourla’s exchanges could be vital to break the COVID scam wide open. Bourla is on tape – saying in the spring 2021 that the Europeans would need more shots and seasonal shots enriching Pfizer beyond belief. Ursula will not come clean on that and on top of this, her leadership regarding Russia and war is the total destruction of Europe and nobody will do a damn thing about her.
Now the EU is sanctioning attacking private oil tankers under the theory that they can crash the Russian economy. This is WWIII and this is what the US did to Japan that caused Pearl Harbor. The QENDIL tanker, flying the flag of Oman and allegedly part of Russia’s shadow fleet, was deliberately attacked by Ukrainian drones in the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea, thousands of kilometres from Ukraine. The tanker was empty of oil to avoid angering its ‘partners’ with a spill. It has been alleged that the UK provided the targeting info. The strike reportedly occurred about 140 miles southwest of Crete.

Coast Guard Intercepts Third Venezuelan Oil Tanker
The U.S. Coast Guard is underway with an operation to seize yet another Venezuelan oil tanker.
This is the third operation of its kind to take place in the past week, and it comes just one day after the last seizure. It is the latest development in the U.S. effort to deprive the South American state of sanctioned oil assets. Video was released of the boarding of the second vessel soon after the incident.
Axios reported that a statement was released regarding the American military action from Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, who "denounces and rejects the theft and hijacking of a new private vessel transporting oil, as well as the forced disappearance of its crew, committed by military personnel of the United States of America in international waters."
Celebrating the successful operation, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem released a statement on X:
