FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino Says “Much More to Come” from J6 Pipe Bomb Investigation

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino appears on Fox News to listen to Sean Hannity tell him everything that happened in the J6 pipe bomb investigation.

But seriously, despite Hannity’s annoying and ongoing narrative explanation that eventually leads to a pause for the interviewee to quickly fill, Dan Bongino repeats and emphasizes a point that the J6 investigative stuff is only just now beginning to surface, there is much more to come.  WATCH:

Judge Grants DOJ's Request to Unseal the Grand Jury Records From Epstein Sex Trafficking Case

RedState

Movement seems to be happening in the releasing of grand jury records related to the DOJ's (Justice Department) investigation and prosecution of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, in the wake of new legislation passing, then being signed into law by President Trump.

As RedState previously wrote, Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act of 2025 in mid-November, taking away a cherished narrative of the Left against the Trump administration and putting in place a law stating that all unclassified documents in the cases must be expeditiously made public. More on that in a minute,

On Thursday, as my colleague Rusty Weiss wrote, the Democrats ended up with egg all over their faces, when they made a big deal over releasing what they claimed were "'never-before-seen' photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private island," that were previously shared in an investigative report by James O'Keefe/O’Keefe Media Group. Later in Nov., the Dems did more sputtering with a new debunked claim on a connection between Pres. Trump and the late convicted sex offender.

The DOJ requested in both New York and Florida that the courts allow it to share the transcripts and other documents with the American people, something which, up to now, has been rejected:

Federal judges in Florida and New York previously refused to release the material, saying it would violate grand jury rules, but passage of the transparency law has now changed that calculus in Florida.

As part of the earlier requests, judges said the contents that would be unsealed likely contained no new evidence.

Now, a Florida federal judge has granted the request, issuing an order for the documents in the cases to be unsealed on Friday:

A federal judge in Florida granted the Justice Department’s request on Friday to unseal grand jury transcripts related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, citing a new federal transparency law.

Judge Rodney Smith found that the Epstein Files Transparency Act of 2025 overrode the secrecy requirements of federal grand jury rules. The law, signed by President Donald Trump on Nov. 19, requires the attorney general to make public all unclassified DOJ records connected to Epstein and Maxwell.

While this move by the judge in Florida is a step forward, other requests for Epstein-Maxwell case documents to be unsealed are still pending in NY, Fox News reported in the story linked above, adding that the Justice Department can decide how and when it will release the transcripts and other materials from the Sunshine state cases. The new law requires their release within the next 30 days. Stay tuned!

Today In Republicans Being Useless: House GOPers Surrender On Obamacare Fight

By every measure, the GOP is more useless than that raccoon that broke into an ABC store, got drunk, and passed out on the bathroom floor.

After successfully holding strong in the face of a Democrat-led government shutdown over Obamacare, a cabal of House Republicans is now waiving the white flag on the issue.

On Thursday, nearly three dozen Democrats and Republicans introduced a proposal to extend taxpayer-funded Obamacare subsidies. As Federalist Senior Contributor Christopher Jacobs has regularly reported in these pages, these Biden-era subsidies — which are set to expire at the end of this year — have been a complete and total disaster.

Spearheaded by Reps. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J., and Jen Kiggins, R-Va., the measure “would extend and reduce the tax credits in a two-step process, requiring two separate votes by Congress,” according to The New York Times. While the first vote “would extend the tax credits for a year with some modifications, including the addition of a new income limit,” the second vote “would implement what the group described as ‘more significant reforms,’ including potentially eliminating $0 premiums, with exceptions for need-based support.”

During a press conference introducing the proposal, Democrat-turned-Republican Jeff Van Drew laid out his best case for forcing taxpayers to keep bankrolling this broken system. The New Jersey congressman’s explanation as a self-declared “conservative” was (naturally) unconvincing.

“I do not like the Affordable Care Act. … And it’s fraught with all kinds of problems, there’s a lot of corruption … But that’s not the point today, and that’s not the discussion for today,” Van Drew said. These subsidies haven’t “been good. But ladies and gentlemen, we have a responsibility. … So, I believe that we have two responsibilities. One, to have a bridge for the American people … that would allow them to keep their health insurance. I think the second responsibility we have is to do much, much better with health care.”

If you’re left wondering what should happen at the end of the next proposed subsidy extension, you’re not alone. As my colleague Eddie Scarry observed in response to Van Drew’s comments, “So you’re creating a ‘bridge’ by extending the subsidies but you have no plan for what happens when that extension again runs out? Literally a bridge to nowhere. Laughable.”

Perhaps the richest part of Van Drew’s remarks, however, is the part in which he whined about wishing lawmakers could’ve been working on health care rather than having “43 days off” because of the government shutdown.

Forty-three days? What about the 15 years Republicans have spent campaigning on “repealing and replacing” Obamacare? It’s 2025, and the GOP still doesn’t have a plan to revoke the disastrous law and institute a market-oriented solution that fosters competition and naturally drives down costs.

Fortunately, the Gottheimer-Kiggins proposal seems unlikely to make any significant headway, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., shooting down the idea on Thursday. (House Republican leadership is reportedly expected to introduce its own health care package sometime next week, although it’s currently unknown if that proposal will include any extension of the Obamacare subsidies.)

But whether or not the “bipartisan” proposal passes is beside the point. That a group of Republicans would take it upon themselves to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and hand Democrats exactly what they’ve been wanting is a disgrace.

Then again, it’s not shocking when considering that the Republican Party has no ability or interest in governing and no collective vision for what success for the country looks like. By every measure, it’s more useless than that raccoon that broke into an ABC store, got drunk, and passed out on the bathroom floor.

But according to House Speaker Mike Johnson, everything is just hunky dory. The Louisiana Republican recently claimed that the current GOP-run Congress is “the most productive and consequential Congress in our lifetime.”

If by “most productive and consequential,” he means squandering a rare opportunity to enact real and significant change for the American people, then he’s absolutely right.

Canadian Media Catch On, U.S Trade Rep Jamieson Greer Says Trump Likely to Exit the USMCA (CUSMA)

In the world of Trumpian geopolitical trade stuff, three issues are very interesting to watch. (1) The strategic reset with Russia which could break the official western construct of financial control. (2) The proactive and defensive positioning of Mexico (desperate attempt to retain economic attachment), and (3) the certain dissolution of the USMCA what Canadians call CUSMA.

Canadian media are starting to realize something we have talked about on these pages for years; President Trump intends to end the USMCA because the USMCA was used as a fracture point to eliminate NAFTA.

Wall Street, the U.S. Congress, the massive K-Street lobbying network around the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the entire political apparatus of business and industry would never permit the end to NAFTA; too many trillions at stake. So, President Trump replaced NAFTA with the interim USMCA, which was better but factually more useful in elimination of the original.

Now, as we have discussed by highlighting President Trump’s no-so-subtle words on the issue, the Canadian media is realizing the USMCA will be dissolved in favor of two independently negotiated bilateral trade agreements; one with Canada and one with Mexico.

(CTV) – U.S. President Donald Trump could decide next year to withdraw from the Canada-United States-Mexico trade agreement (CUSMA), Politico reported on Thursday, citing U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

“The president’s view is he only wants deals that are a good deal. The reason why we built a review period into CUSMA was in case we needed to revise it, review it or exit it,” Greer told Politico’s White House bureau chief Dasha Burns in a podcast episode that airs Friday.

Greer also raised the idea of negotiating separately with Canada and Mexico and dividing the agreement into two parts in the podcast, adding that he spoke with Trump about that possibility just this week.

The White House, Canadian and Mexican governments did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.

Trump on Wednesday said that the CUSMA agreement – which faces an upcoming review- will either be left to expire or another deal will be worked out.

The USMCA, which replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement in 2020 and was negotiated during Trump’s first term as president, requires the three countries to hold a joint review after six years. (link)

I have talked to a lot of Canadians on the issues of economics and trade. As a result, I can say with complete sincerity that not since the COVID-19 examples of New Zealand (lockdowns) and Australia (vaxx), has a nation engaged in such a level of mass cognitive dissonance as the govt of Canada on the issue of economics and trade – in the past few years. It is stunning.

To understand the reality of the situation Here’s an IN-DEPTH LINK. Apparently, few really understand the full scope of the issues.

For those who have followed along with the U.S-Canada trade positioning, the current status of conflict between the Trump administration and the government of Canada is not surprising.  {GO DEEP}

Going all the way back to the replacement of NAFTA, with the USMCA, President Trump always said he did not favor multilateral trade deals with multiple countries; instead, he preferred bilateral free trade agreements.

Some people have construed the bilateral preference of President Trump to be the elimination of globalism in favor of nationalism in trade agreements.

While the outcome of the Trump approach indeed aligns with that theme, it is not specifically the objective of President Trump to eliminate global trade, but rather to focus on specific interests in trade that benefit the unique nature of each party involved.

As a result, the USMCA -or CUSMA as said in Canada- is not in alignment with a bilateral free trade agreement, and the conflicted differences between trade with Mexico and trade with Canada are an outcome of this dynamic.  The solution is simply to eliminate the multilateral in favor of the bilateral approach.  This is the objective of President Trump as expressed.

There is zero leverage on the Canadian side of the trade negotiation, zero.

There is nothing that Canada provides to the USA that the USA cannot create, produce or secure independently.  The nature of the economic relationship is entirely lopsided, with the USA getting nothing in return for the massive outflow of U.S. dollars (USD).

Our trade relationship with Canada is based on the U.S. government simply liking our northern neighbor and giving them terms and conditions for their economy to benefit from proximity.  Take the friendship out of the equation, which is key to understanding the polar political ideology of the two nations, and there is simply not much reciprocal trade benefit.

Take away the soft wood lumber, we have our own.  Take away the oil, we have multitudes of domestic production options. Take away the minerals, again we have both our own unused capacities and enhanced trade agreements with other Free Trade Agreement nations.

Then look at the possibility of a strategic U.S-Russia economic alliance, and all those contracted icebreakers take on new meaning.

Some may think this is an overly harsh view of our Canadian friends.  However, the Canadian majority believes in climate change and unfortunately leftist politicians control their industrial economy [SEE HERE].

Climate change is a cult belief, and Canada is in the middle of a mass formation psychosis. Canada needs to get hard, stop this global warming nonsense, dispatch cultural Marxism and put deliberate men in charge.

A Canadian conservative is essentially a milquetoast politically correct Mitt Romney; not strong enough to make a difference.

The best thing President Trump can do for our Canadian friends is to help strategic regions while their overall GREEN ENERGY economy collapses around them.  Then we hope guys like this surface to rebuild the Great White North.

Junior Cartel Member Excited To Already Be Getting To Drive Boat

CARACAS — A young employee's burgeoning career took a massive step forward this week, as a junior cartel member was excited to find out that he was already getting an opportunity to drive the boat.

Luis Delgado, who had only been hired by the cartel two months ago, was notified by his supervisors that he had been promoted to boat driver for the upcoming shipment of narcotics to the United States.

"This is the most amazing day of my life!" Delgado said after hearing the news. "I knew joining the cartel gave me a career with a lot of potential and room for growth, but I never imagined that I would be moving up the ladder so quickly. My boss, Javier ‘El Burro' Marquez, told me that this promotion could really be explosive for my future. If I do a good job and things go well, things could really blow up for me."

The Venezuelan cartel had experienced a spike in turnover in recent weeks, with sources saying the organization was struggling to fill boat positions quickly enough to keep operations running smoothly. "We need more men," one insider said. "It can be so hard to find good help these days. At least help that will survive more than one or two trips. It's a good opportunity for these young guys to step up and draw some fire — er, I mean, show us what they can do."

At publishing time, witnesses said they had seen large flashes of light and heard loud booms from the direction where Delgado had driven his boat, leading them to assume he was setting off fireworks to celebrate his new job.
