President Donald Trump has once again struck at the heart of the globalist machine, demanding federal racketeering charges against Democrat megadonor George Soros and his son, Alexander. For decades, Soros has funneled billions into organizations and movements that destabilize nations, bankroll violent protests, and manipulate democratic processes under the cover of “philanthropy.” His influence has stretched from American streets ─ funding BLM demonstrations, pro-Palestine agitators, disruptive protests in cities (like Los Angeles) — to violent uprisings and political meddling across Europe. The pattern is unmistakable: Soros’s empire thrives on chaos, eroding borders, undermining law and order, and crushing conservative forces wherever they rise. These efforts are not random acts of charity, but part of a calculated strategy to build an anti-Trump belt of influence designed to block populist and nationalist leaders who reflect the will of the people. Trump’s call for accountability is not only justified but urgently necessary, for no democracy can endure when billionaires purchase disorder to silence the voice of the majority.

Soros’s Domestic Operations

In the United States, Soros has built an empire of influence that feeds unrest under the guise of “social justice.” His vast financial network has poured millions into organizations connected to the Black Lives Matter movement, fueling protests that often spiraled into violence, looting, and the destruction of communities. In cities like Los Angeles, Soros-backed groups have coordinated disruptive demonstrations, paralyzing civic life, and overwhelming local law enforcement. More recently, his foundations have thrown supportbehind pro-Palestine agitators who openly target Jewish students on college campuses and stage violent disruptions in major American cities. These movements share a common thread: they mask radical activism behind noble-sounding slogans, while in reality undermining public order and deepening national division. By systematically funding such domestic turmoil, Soros has turned America’s streets into laboratories of chaos, weakening the nation from within.

Exporting Chaos and Election Interference in Europe

What Soros has engineered in America, he has exported to Europe on an even grander scale. Through his Open Society Foundations and a web of affiliated NGOs, he has funded mass protests, activist networks, and media outlets that destabilize governments resistant to globalist control. From violent clashes in France during the Yellow Vest era to orchestrated migrant demonstrations in Germany, Italy, and Greece, Soros-backed groups have turned legitimate dissent into engines of upheaval. In Eastern Europe, the pattern has intensified: in Moldova, Soros-affiliated organizations actively supported pro-European candidates, mobilizing civil society groups, and leveraging media influence to shape voter sentiment, while conservative figures faced harassment and, in some cases, arrests. In Romania, similar campaigns have attempted to undermine nationalist leaders through coordinated protests, media pressure, and the intimidation of conservative activists. These efforts are not about defending democracy ─ they are about silencing the popular will when it runs contrary to globalist designs. Europe has become a testing ground for Soros’s strategy: weaponizing protest and electoral influence to build a fortified anti-Trump belt stretching across the continent.

Far from a passive observer, Alexander has publicly embraced his role in steering progressive movements, funding left-wing media, and coordinating initiatives that mirror his father’s strategy of global influence. Together, the Soros family represents a dynastic network, blending philanthropy with political engineering, and ensuring that radical agendas persist across generations. Alexander has also taken a particular interest in supporting youth activism and social justice campaigns, ensuring the ideological continuity of the empire while targeting the next wave of conservative leaders. Protecting democracy means ensuring that citizens, not elites or oligarchs, determine the outcomes of elections and the direction of their nations. In this light, calls for accountability and transparency in political funding are important for safeguarding democratic integrity, without conflating legitimate philanthropic support with unlawful manipulation.

The Global Consequences of Unchecked Influence

Allowing billionaires like George and Alexander Soros to operate unchecked poses a profound threat not only to individual nations but to the stability of the global order. From violent street protests in U.S. cities to engineered electoral influence across Europe, their networks have repeatedly demonstrated the power of wealth to override the people’s voice. Eastern European nations, from Moldova to Romania, have seen conservative candidates intimidated, harassed, or even arrested, while pro-globalist forces backed by Soros gain disproportionate advantage. Beyond Europe, Soros has extended his reach into Latin America, Africa, and Asia, where his foundations have aligned with socialist and even openly communist movements, providing financial lifelines to parties and activists that promote radical redistribution, class conflict, and hostility toward the United States. The result is a world where genuine democracy is subordinated to the strategic ambitions of the few, leaving citizens powerless to defend their cultural identity, national sovereignty, or political will. President Trump’s call for accountability is therefore not merely partisan ─ it is a defense of democracy, law, and order against a globalist apparatus that prioritizes ideology over the consent of the governed. If such influence is left unchallenged, the very principle of government “of the people, by the people, for the people” risks becoming a hollow slogan, hollowed out by unchecked money and orchestrated chaos.

Dems Don’t Have a Prayer

The Democrats are going full “Dodgeball” by deciding, after their latest perverted, weirdo constituent went on a mass murder spree of little Christian kids, that they should take aim at the idea of prayer. Apparently, the big problem in the aftermath of yet another Dem-aligned killer is that we’re turning to God and not to our Democrat betters. We shouldn’t be on our knees before the Lord; we should be on our knees before them, submitting, obeying, and accepting the divine right to rule of the No Kings Klan. That’s a bold strategy, Cotton – let’s see if it pays off for them. 

It’s unclear whether the Democrats are stupid and bigoted about Christians (as well as observant Jews, whom they also despise as a matter of policy), or whether they are merely bigoted. Regardless, the outcome is the same. They will fire up their freak show base but drive away the normals. The Democrat Party was born of largely faithful working-class people, and it has morphed into a party of largely pagan professional managerial-class swells who embrace a bizarre quasi-religious ideology that rejects God and embraces their SSRI-driven obsessions. 

Purposefully or not, they misunderstand the purpose of prayer, which is to connect with God. The Lord is not a vending machine where you insert your prayer and get the result you want. This misunderstanding is of a kind with the over-credentialed cretins who think that Christian salvation is based on a tally of good deeds, as if Jesus is there at the pearly gates with a clipboard checking off mitzvahs until you get enough of them, and says, “Congratulations, welcome to heaven.” 

Now, of course, this may be stray voltage, that is, an attempt to create a smaller imbroglio to distract from a larger one. It certainly looks organized. Various politicians and media hacks, including Gavin Newsom, that femboy Minneapolis mayor, Jen Psaki-Longstocking, and Senator Tina Whateverhernameis, plus others, all jumped on the “How dare you pray!” bandwagon in a suspiciously coordinated manner. Perhaps they wanted to turn attention away from yet another trans freak deciding to murder normal people because he can’t become a girl. Americans are getting sick of evil, mentally ill mutants who take out their frustrations with either having or not having a penis on innocent people. Paired with the prayer calumny were the usual calls for common-sense gun control; what America needs is common-sense deviant control.

The problem for the Democratic Party is that most Americans are still people who believe in normal religions and not weird pagan superstitions, like the climate hoax, systemic racism, and feminism. These boutique beliefs may be ubiquitous in blue urban areas and pampered suburbs, but they just don’t play with the normals. The people who run the Democrat Party no longer embrace Christianity, nor even tolerate it. They actively dislike it and the people who practice it, and they barely put up with it even when practiced by groups that are still inside their shrinking tent.

Pity the poor black church ladies who still believe in that Jesus stuff; you can almost see the eyes roll back in the heads of the frigid white Chardonnay women who dominate the party when they encounter sincere belief. Black ladies of faith, the door is open to you at the Republican Party. We’re not going to mock you or laugh at you or treat you as if you’re mental defectives who will vote as directed in exchange for a pat on the head, some DEI talk, and maybe a visit to your church where the Ultimate Tiresome White Lady can tell you how she don’t feel no ways tired. Remember, until the Democrat Party is finally gone with the wind, the wine women will always insist on being Scarlet, and you will always be Mammy, expected to submit and serve as an enabler and supporting player in their neurotic psychodramas.

In the meantime, the Democrats have their own rituals and sacraments. Just the other day, at the Democrat annual convention, they had some alleged Indian come up and give a land acknowledgment. Some people fast, some confess and do penance, and some listen to Elizabeth Warren’s second cousin give them grief because Europeans conquered this continent, to which they nod in approval at their own historical abnegation. Every time you order a glass of iced tea and it comes with a paper straw that degenerates into mush after the first couple of sips, you are participating in one of their rituals. It means nothing, but the sacrifice of both the utility and the dignity that come from a plastic straw is a secular sacrament. 

Oh, and they have heretics too. That would be us, the ones who don’t believe that a woman can have a penis or that a man can get pregnant. We refuse to say the holy words that are their preferred pronouns or their euphemisms like “the unhoused” for bums, junkies, and hobos. For these heresies, we must be driven from our employment, driven from society, and – increasingly – driven from this mortal coil by murderous perverts, whose minds are twisted by sick leftist lies.

While it certainly rallies their God-free communist cadres, disrespecting prayer and people who pray is going to be a huge turn-off to everybody else. It’s not clear they understand that, since they don’t seem to know anybody who believes in God and assume anyone who does is a little bit insane (to them, believing in God is insane; believing you were born the wrong gender is not). Note that this doesn’t apply to any other religions – those are awesome. It’s just the ones that founded America that are bad, because, of course, everything about America is bad except them.

It’s not clear that the Republicans will necessarily benefit from this in the long run, though they probably will in the short run. In Europe, there are overtly Christian parties that are usually the parties of the right and are in opposition to the leftist parties. In the past, these parties were actually conservative, but, like many of the mainline Protestant denominations in America, they’ve been infiltrated, overwhelmed, and assimilated into the Bolshevik Borg. The German Christian Democrats are just as ready to submit to foreign invasion as the Social Democrats. For this reason, while it might be tempting for the Republican Party to continue towards becoming the default party of religious people in America, that might not be good either for the party or the religions. Look at the Republican parties in the red states; when it’s the only game in town, people who should be Democrats come flooding into it and water it down into a gooey bowl of ideological tofu. While perhaps it will give us an edge in the short term, it is to our long-term advantage for both parties to welcome the religious. But that’s not going to happen while the Democrat Party is controlled by a bunch of atheist pagans for whom ridiculous ideology is a substitute for a meaningful faith.

So, pray for our country even if that makes Gavin Newsom’s teen social media gurus sad. 

Europe Is a Powder Keg

Americans who don’t spend time in Europe might not fully appreciate what a powder keg the Old World has become.  However bad social relations in the United States now are, they are at least an order of magnitude worse on the other side of the Atlantic.  European self-hatred is dissolving traditional cultural bonds.  Mass immigration is compounding age-old rivalries.  Europe is one spark away from exploding.

Europe is a perennial battlefield.  Many of our ancestors, after all, left the old country to escape religious, economic, and cultural conflicts that had endured for centuries.  Those historic grievances — always simmering in times of peace before boiling over into outright violence — are passed from one generation to the next.  Modern European nations are the product of two thousand years of shifting borders and alliances, and native Europeans trace their family lineages back to regional tribes whose ancient territories do not fit neatly within the politically drawn maps of today.

If you think geographical accents in America make it tricky for a Mississippian or Minnesotan to communicate effectively with an English-speaker from the Bronx, consider that Europe is home to nearly three hundred native tongues.  Switzerland has four national languages — including Romansch, which derives from the spoken Latin of the Roman Empire.  The cornucopia of indigenous languages, dialects, vocabularies, and accents makes it possible for local residents of small towns to recognize “outsiders” immediately.  Even more impressively, they can usually tell — just by listening — which towns a stranger’s grandparents once called home.

Two world wars — both ignited in Europe and responsible for immense European destruction — propelled a mid-twentieth-century political movement calling for the eradication of national borders.  The European intelligentsia who became the founding members of the continent’s fledgling transnational bureaucracy blamed national pride for Europe’s carnage and effectively turned “nationalism” into a dirty word.  

Oddly, this was also a time when crumbling empires, such as France and the United Kingdom, were at least tepidly supporting the national independence of former colonies.  Likewise, it was the beginning of a half-century U.S.-led campaign to encourage national revolutions in European countries stuck behind the Soviet Union’s Iron Curtain.  So Western power brokers framed nationalism as a kind of intolerable ethos on par with Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s national socialism while encouraging former nations or proto-nations in Central Europe, Africa, and Asia to break away from the respective empires that controlled them.  While Western leaders pushed for the integration of distinct European nations into a single “Union,” they also promoted national independence movements under the rationale that all humans possess a natural right to self-determination.

In the eighty years since the project for European integration began in earnest, those latent contradictions have transformed Europe into a tinderbox with even greater potential energy for self-destruction than existed before WWI and II.  While the bureaucratic ruling class has actively repressed the historic identities of native Europeans, it has flooded the continent with foreigners who are encouraged to retain their own cultural identities.  In this way, a Hungarian or Pole or Dane who celebrates his country’s unique heritage is denounced as a “far-right nationalist,” while a Frenchman who insists that African and Middle Eastern immigrants assimilate to the European way of life is denounced as a “racist” and “bigot.” 

This anti-European monstrosity was created deliberately.  Simultaneous suppression of Europeans’ national identities and protections for foreign nationals create a kind of “multiculturalism dynamo” that converts Europeans into something alien.  Stripped of their native religion, culture, and historic customs and forced to praise foreign religions, cultures, and customs taking hold in the West’s civilizational void, Europeans are effectively assimilated within their own lands.  Europeans are taught to despise their own civilization and to bow down before those who seek to replicate a foreign civilization inside Europe.  Europe’s bureaucratic ruling class uses foreigners to beat the Europeanness out of Europeans.

Perhaps because a critical mass of Europeans finally realizes what Europe’s unelected bureaucrats have done, a “Great Awakening” is spreading across the continent.  After decades of submitting to cultural erasure, a patriotic fervor is taking root once again.  As many now see it, if globalism’s war on nationalism means that only nations outside Europe will survive, then European peace is not worth the cost.  

Many Americans will dismiss this resurgence of European nationalism as “too little, too late,” but I would strike a more optimistic chord.  Sometimes we must be pushed to the edge of the cliff before we find our footing and forcefully fight back.  When surrender means falling into the sea and survival requires moving in the opposite direction, the right choice is also the only one.

In the United Kingdom, a grassroots movement of ordinary Brits has initiated “Operation: Raise the Colors.”  The strategy is simple: British citizens are encouraged to prominently display and wave the Cross of St. George and Union Jack flags.  

What could possibly be offensive or dangerous about raising the flags of England and the United Kingdom?  Nothing.  Yet the globalist Establishment is losing its collective mind.  Leftists insist that the flags should be replaced with something more “multicultural” and that only “far-right racists” would stoop so low as to patriotically raise the country’s flags.  Open-borders politicians are calling the flag-waving “extremist,” “hate-filled,” and “white supremacist.”  In other words, the British people have forced Britain’s “elites” to acknowledge that they have no loyalty to and only antipathy for the United Kingdom.

This rather anodyne form of political speech is proving remarkably effective at exposing globalism’s suicidal contagion.  In London, it is perfectly normal to see so-called “gay pride” flags, “Palestinian” flags, Pakistani flags, Iranian flags, and the flags of almost every third-world nation now offloading its citizens onto the shores of the U.K.  If a British citizen were to express outrage over the fact that a panoply of foreign flags is flown brazenly throughout the capital, constables would intimidate the outspoken “offender” into silence by threatening him with prosecution for imaginary “hate speech.”  Revealingly, however, these same petty tyrants throw hissy fits when native Brits dare “raise the colors” of their own nation’s historic flags.

Similar movements are picking up steam.  Ten years ago, it was more common to see such patriotic displays on the streets of Balkan nations or amid independence parades in the Basque region or other areas of Europe seeking national recognition.  Today it is easy to stumble into a sea of Dutch, Danish, German, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, or Greek flags when crossing borders.  Eighty years after the European Union began constructing its continental empire, the “colonies” appear eager to reclaim their right to self-determination.

I think it’s fair to say that ordinary Europeans are no longer willing to remain quiet as the bureaucratic ruling class kills what’s left of Europe and hands the carcass to foreign conquerors.  As an American with absolute fidelity to the millennia-long promises of Western civilization, I find these patriotic revivals timely rebuttals to a globalist Establishment that prefers our death.

I cannot tell you how many times I have come across the words of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas translated into one of Europe’s many native languages.  “Do not go gentle into that good night” and “Rage, rage against the dying of the light” show up on message boards like faint heartbeats on an EKG machine.  Many in Europe don’t want to die.  To live, they’ll have to fight.

How is it that an insignificant corner of the internet could predict the removal of the U.S. National Security Advisor, specifically as the first administration official to be removed, more than two months before Donald Trump was sworn in as President on January 20, 2025?

To understand the complexity of the intelligence information flow, consider:

The silo system is made up, in part, of: The National Security Council (10+ desks, 15 staff/analysts per), the National Security Advisor to the Office of the President, the Dept of Justice National Security Division [DOJ-NSD (foreign review section, counterintelligence export control section, cyber section, counterterrorism section)], Central Intelligence Agency [(CIA), National Intelligence Council, Directorate of Analysis], Federal Bureau of Investigation [FBI (Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, WMD Directorate, Directorate of Intelligence, Cyber)], the Office of the Director of National Intelligence [ODNI (Requirements, Analysis, Collection, National Counterterrorism Center, Mission Managers)], the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Dept of Defense [DoD, (Nuclear, Chemical, Biological, Industrial, International)], the National Security Agency [NSA (Operations, Technology, Cyber], and many more.

Each agency/office a silo, with distinct sub-silos, each with equity stakes in the information they gather, review and analyze; ultimately attributing classification level and intersecting analysis with each other agency as mission aligned.

Sound ridiculous?  It probably is, yet we’ve merely scratched the surface of the networks and information flows that swirl around the Office of the President.

How does President Trump frame his world view?  Who organizes the information that is prioritized to reach his desk?

It is very easy to say, “President Trump has to know about (fill_in_blank),” without contemplating the process by which President Trump would know about (fill_in_blank).  The recent remarks by President Trump, surrounding COVID-19 vaccine efficacy, should put a spotlight on this consequential dynamic.

♦ PIAB – We were all very pleased to see President Trump announce the newly formed President’s Intelligence Advisory Board (PIAB), because for more than a decade we have watched how intelligence products were manipulated, shaped and constructed to create the illusion of something that was entirely false.

However, we should note the same process of selecting the PIAB membership led to the previous issue of selecting former Congressman Mike Waltz as National Security Advisor.  In that example, CTH predicted what would happen several months before it actually happened.

There are issues of great DC interest that overlay all names and positions within the Trump administration.  The subsequent behavior of NSA appointee Mike Waltz was a great reminder that sometimes those interests or judgements are not in alignment with the common MAGA priority.

Big international policy issues, like support for Israel, Ukraine support, NATO support and opinions on the threat Russia or China represents, are all part of the prism through which White House personnel references are traditionally made.

When intended policy runs counter to personal ideology, conflicts arise.

The policies of Wall St -vs- Main St, banking regulations, reciprocal tariffs, trade fairness, cryptocurrency and foundational economic nationalism can be challenging to align with the perspectives of the professional political class, in DC.

The aspect of there being “trillions at stake” applies here, and being an outsider in DC generally comes down to financial interests and financial relationships.  Then you run into the issues of the surveillance state, FISA (702) support, data collection and artificial intelligence.

In short, the interests of maintaining the status quo inside Washington DC, which may be interests carried by those in the orbit of President Trump, can stop information from reaching President Trump.

♦ Gordian Knot – As a consequence, cutting through the enmeshed interests with obvious, albeit painful truth, means delivering critical information in such a manner that, well, it cannot be refuted.

We hope this is also the goal of those who have recently been outlining the background of Russiagate. However, given a history of inaction, and the stakes at hand, nothing should be taken for granted.

What’s needed is a full spectrum outing of everything that took place throughout the targeting of President Trump.

Perhaps a lengthy press conference directly in Washington DC, where the adversarial media are confronted with overwhelming evidence of the activity around the targeting (2012-2024), in such a manner that their predictable defensive questioning can be knocked down with specific citation.

A soup-to-nuts threshing of the previous activity – a must watch TV and viral moment- cutting through the entangled issues and breaking them down to their simple core.  However, that approach first starts with the ability of a person to outline the issues with exceptional citation.

The citations, what people call the “receipts”, are key. Because the citations underpin the activity, and the citations are vast, spread throughout the entire silo system and in large measure intentionally disconnected.

The story of the Trump targeting and surveillance effort is abundantly clear when the citations are gathered in timeline sequence and order.  However, those citations must be woven into the story of how the targeting of Trump took place. It takes telling the story, the remarkably truthful story, for the impact to structurally change perception.

♦ OPTIMISM – We are aware that people in/around term-2 govt have come around to understand the scope of our research on these issues.  The 2024 Mike Waltz prediction served a serendipitous purpose; also, you guys know our rehashes are not hymnals to the CTH choir.  We are narrowing focus.

Visible confirmation comes in the appearance of change.  Specific offices have structurally changed the way they engage with the Intelligence Community.  Even while the operatives buried deep in the system are still trying to create false outcomes, the Nat Sec Advisor, CIA Director and ODNI are working with greater synergy.

Literally hundreds of embeds -across multiple silos- have been removed from the aggregate apparatus.  The National Security Council has been taken apart, staff removed, desks shuttered.  The National Intelligence Council was removed from the CIA with personnel fired.  The Directorate of Analysis is now openly confronted.  The ICIG is once again a watchdog. This creates optimism that substantive change is possible. [It’s also long overdue] However, much more work lies ahead.

As we began this outline, we shared a small sample of the myriads of silos to emphasize how each agency may not even realize the value within the information they hold.  Each extracted puzzle piece fills in a clearer picture.

Spygate targeting, which evolved into Russiagate targeting, which evolved into Mueller targeting, which evolved into Jack Smith targeting, is one continuum purposefully scattered into separate isolation silos to hide the core issue, the U.S. government was/is using NSA captured electronic metadata to conduct domestic political spy operations.

• Kennedy called false the claim from former CDC chief Susan Monarez's that he told her to sign off on vaccine recommendations that didn't have a scientific basis, and agreed that she was "lying" in an op-ed published today in the Wall Street Journal

Foreign Citizens Should Never Be Allowed To Serve In American Government

The American government has been overrun with foreign-born, foreign citizenship-holding, dual-loyalty politicians and judges.

It does not matter if individuals become naturalized citizens of the United States, so long as they retain the citizenship from wherever they came, they should not be allowed to serve in the American government.

Either they renounce their foreign citizenship, or stop serving in our government. And, it is more preferable that they self-deport if they feel strongly about keeping the other citizenship.

As founder John Jay expressed in 1787, “Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government.”

Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali and Sparkle Leah Sooknanan, two far-left appointees of former President Joe Biden, are perfect examples. Both are federal judges, both issue judicial decrees well outside what is in America’s best interests, and both are still citizens of foreign countries.

Sooknanan is a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, while Ali is a citizen of Canada.

As is the problem with anyone retaining their citizenship in another country and then attempting to serve in another, it is unclear where their loyalties lie. For Ali and Sooknanan, whether in service to their home countries or not, it is quite clear they couldn’t care less about the United States.

In Sooknanan’s latest un-American activity, she blocked a flight of hundreds of trafficked Guatemalan children who were being sent back home to their families from leaving the United States.

The Guatemalan government already agreed to take them back, and as White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said, “These smuggled migrant children were orphaned in America by the Biden Administration. The minors have all self-reported that their parents are back home in Guatemala. But a Democrat judge is refusing to let them reunify with their parents.”

“The government of Guatemala has formally requested their return,” Miller added. “And there are tens of thousands more smuggled minors orphaned in America by the Biden Administration that Democrats are refusing to allow back home with their families.”

Far from Sooknanan’s only attack on the interests of America and Americans, prior to being appointed by Biden (or, an autopen), she helped orchestrate the Department of Justice memo from Merrick Garland calling parents concerned about their children’s schooling “domestic terrorists.”

Democrats rammed Sooknanan through the Senate in the lame-duck session right after Democrats lost the 2024 presidential election and assumed office Jan. 2, 2025. It is the same story with Ali, whose nomination was approved 50-49 on Nov. 20, 2024, and assumed office two days later — all well after the election.

He became the first Muslim and Arab to serve on a federal D.C. court.

One of Ali’s first acts as a judge was ordering the Trump administration to distribute $2 billion in “foreign aid” without being able to verify how the money was being used. That funding explicitly cut USAID, which was revealed as one of the most sinister foreign policy tools, funding coups, transgenderism, and much more across the world.

There are other judges who were born in other countries who do not show the deep disdain Sooknanan and Ali do for the country that gave them citizenship.

Fifth Circuit Judge James Ho was born in Taiwan, but does not retain citizenship with that country, having been naturalized at the age of 9. He also has consistently ruled or espoused judicial philosophy as someone who understands the Constitution and the meaning of his own position of upholding it.

He is often cited as an obvious successor to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. 

The problem does not exclusively exist in the judicial branch. There are numerous members of Congress who clearly have loyalties elsewhere, whether born there, retaining citizenship there, or not. Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Randy Fine, R-Fla., and Brian Mast, R-Fla., are just a handful of examples. It would not be possible to list out the scores of congressional Democrats and Republicans who fly foreign flags outside their offices, who should also be added to the group.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., has introduced a bill along with Reps. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Clay Higgins, R-La., that would force political candidates to disclose dual citizenship as a minimal bar for running for office.

“Dual citizens elected to the United States Congress should renounce citizenship in all other countries,” Massie said. “At a minimum, they should disclose their citizenship in other countries and abstain from votes specifically benefitting those countries. If we are going to continue to allow Members of Congress to acquire and retain citizenship in other countries, they should at least be required to disclose to voters all countries of which they consider themselves to be citizens.” 

His bill seems like a low bar, but it really only scratches the surface of dual loyalty problems from foreigners and American-born members alike.

Netanyahu said to rebuff Macron request to visit Israel ahead of recognition of Palestinian state

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a request by French President Emmanuel Macron to visit Israel ahead of Paris’s expected recognition of a Palestinian state later this month, the Kan public broadcaster reports.

According to the report, Macron sought to make a brief visit before the United Nations General Assembly, where France is expected to join other Western nations in unilaterally recognizing a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu, however, conditioned the visit on Macron withdrawing the move — a demand the French leader refused.  

 

Former French-Israeli lawmaker Meyer Habib told Kan earlier today that Macron had recently sought to travel to Israel but was rebuffed by Netanyahu.

“Macron sent a message to Netanyahu saying he wanted to come, but Netanyahu replied that under the current circumstances it was not the right time,” Habib said. 

 

 In its evening report, an Israeli official tells the Hebrew network: “We will not allow Macron to have it both ways.”
