On Her 141st Birthday, It's Vital To Understand The Statue Of Liberty's True Meaning


On this exact day, August 5th, in 1884, the cornerstone for the Statue of Liberty was laid. Encased in its core were copies of the three greatest documents of liberty in the world: The Bible, The Declaration of Independence, and the US Constitution.

In celebration of this day and as we count down to our nation’s 250th birthday, it is vital to understand the Statue of Liberty’s true meaning, and not the meaning that others want to impose on it.

Some people today believe that the Statue of Liberty is like a “Welcome Wagon” for a global homeless shelter called the United States of America. They take an Emma Lazarus poem that was placed on the statue 20 years after its dedication and make the case that anyone who wants to come to the United States should be able to do so.

“Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

The Marxist progressive left desires unlimited immigration, both legal and illegal. They use our compassion as Americans against us. After all, “we are a nation of immigrants,” they say.

The new reality they advocate for is Lady Liberty with her hand upraised, not with the torch of liberty, but with coupons for the free stuff the masses of humanity will receive if they just make it into the United States. In their eyes, the Statue of Liberty should just wave them in. “Come on in, get your freebies here. No commitment to American values. No need to learn our history or follow our laws. You deserve to be here, so get here any way you can.”

This is a progressive, globalist interpretation using a fragment of a poem to manipulate us.

The real history of this poem is that it was a part of the fundraising project for the pedestal on which the statue was to stand. Emma Lazarus was a famous poetess at the time, and she was asked to produce a poem that could be auctioned at a fundraiser. She agreed and titled her work, The New Colossus.

Her poem was never a part of the design concept or symbolism being built into the statue itself. In fact, the purchaser accidentally discarded the poem at some point after the auction, and it was lost for 20 years.

Then, remarkably, one of Lazarus’s friends stumbled upon it in a used bookstore two decades later. She brought it to some civic leaders and convinced them that this would be a good historical addition to the statue. So, a plaque of the entire poem was made and placed on an inside wall of the pedestal, making it a part of the project’s history, but by no means the main point.

Today, citizens have been misled to believe the poem was a part of Lady Liberty’s original concept of Lady Liberty and that its words supersede the Constitution and even establish immigration policy.

So then, what is the true symbolism of the Statue of Liberty?

The answer to this is not as easily found as one might think. You can go to the Statue of Liberty National Park website and, buried in the FAQs, you will see a tepid attempt that falls way short of anything meaningful or inspirational.

But if you dig into the writings, history, and design concepts of the project’s sculptor, Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi, and its promoter, Edouard de Laboulaye, you will find these amazingly important truths:

“LIBERTY ENLIGHTENING THE WORLD.” This is actually Lady Liberty’s real name. In her name alone, we can see her purpose. Enlightenment means to provide intellectual or spiritual insight. The idea here is that the American concepts of liberty are offered to the world, so that other nations might adopt them and experience the same benefits that the people living in the United States of America have enjoyed. They are not forced on the world, but offered freely so that all can flourish.

LIBERTY’S CROWN. The spikes represent sunbeams from heaven to the seven continents and the seven seas. Her crown reinforces the idea that liberty is to be proclaimed to the ends of the earth.

LIBERTY’S TORCH. In her right hand is a torch that is held high. This is not the torch of revolution that seeks to set fire and destroy. This is a flame that gives light and pushes back the darkness, showing the way forward.

LIBERTY’S TABLET. In her left hand, held firmly and protected, is a tablet shaped like a keystone. Bartholdi chose a keystone because it is the central stone at the summit of an arch or structure that locks the whole thing together. It’s the central principle of a system in which all else depends.

Rising off the face of the keystone tablet is the date July 4, 1776, representing the Declaration of Independence. That document, in turn, puts the Creator at the center of America’s creation:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Bartholdi’s symbolism is that the Declaration is central to everything, and central to the Declaration is the Creator from whom inalienable rights are born into mankind. They are a gift from God, not a gift from government or men.

LIBERTY’S FEET. Liberty is depicted as walking on the broken chains of tyranny, symbolizing that all nations and all people who embrace her ideals will break free from tyranny and live in liberty.

Here too is one of the most profound pieces to understanding the Statue of Liberty. Her right heel is raised, implying that Liberty is not standing still; she is moving forward, walking out into the world.

This reinforces that American concepts of liberty, unique in all the world, are offered to the world and to all who will freely embrace them. Picture in your mind, not Lady Liberty standing on an island in New York, but walking across the world spreading her ideals the world over.

From the cornerstone of Lady Liberty where the Bible, the Declaration, and the Constitution are buried, through the tablet she holds protected and firm, to the torch held high, Lady Liberty’s entire being is electrified with the fact that our rights are God given and these rights are for all people, at all times, everywhere.

I think it is also notable that Liberty is built on a retired fort. This should remind us that liberty must be fought for in every generation, or it will slip away without our notice.

Let me close out by returning to Emma Lazarus’s much-abused poem, for it does have a place in the statue’s history. As you embrace and teach the important truths originated by Bartholdi and Laboulaye above, let me draw your attention to a vital phrase in the poem itself that is often overlooked. It is the phrase “yearning to breathe free.”

Those coming to the United States as legal immigrates should only be those who yearn to understand the principles on which our country is founded, yearn to support the rule of law, yearn to embrace American history and culture, yearn to assimilate, and yearn to be a part of advancing the American Experiment in self-government, not tear it down.

On this important anniversary day, lock down these truths in your mind and share them with others. Be a flame of liberty and spiritual awakening.

And like the Statue of Liberty, get moving, and go out and spread liberty throughout the world.

Will Restoring Justice be Trump’s Greatest Achievement?


Americans will always have different political views, but an overwhelming number of citizens agree that justice and accountability is a government imperative. The root of so many of our present problems are the two-tiered justice system and its consequences of corruption at the highest levels of U.S. government.

The White House East Room has displayed the portrait James Madison, the primary author of the Constitution and the nation’s fourth President. Let’s hope the Trump administration is all in on Madison’s assertion in Federalist, No. 51, that “Justice is the end of government. It is the end of civil society. It has ever been and ever will be pursued until it be obtained, or until liberty be lost in the pursuit.”

If Madison’s views are prescient, we are in the end game, and we had better get this right and win.

When laws are not enforced and there are no penalties for violations, we get more law-breaking. Failing to prosecute, convict, and penalize those breaking security protocol and laws while serving in government during the Obama administration served to foster and encourage more serious crime, which has recently been showcased by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. Her charges that a cabal within the Obama administration planned and executed a coup against incoming President Trump to undermine his Administration, call for adjudication. If conviction ensues, we are dealing with the highest crime committed against the country by U.S. citizens.

First, when a pass, or multiple successive passes are given to lawbreakers, you not only protect the lawless, but you empower and encourage would-be lawbreakers to do the same or worse. Second, when laws are not enforced, they cease to have meaning. And that’s when your nation enters a slippery slope of arbitrary and subjective rule and cronyism, which ends in ruin… such as no borders, the hollowing out of citizen rights, and politicization of government agencies, to name a few.

To understand how we got to where we are it is helpful to take a trip down memory lane starting with Obama’s first term.

In 2009 Obama Attorney General Eric Holder oversaw the ill-fated “Fast and Furious” gun-distribution-tracking program targeting the Mexican cartels which resulted in the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. When asked to testify before Congress, Holder refused to comply with a congressional subpoena for certain documents, leading to his being held in contempt of Congress in June 2012 -- a historical first for a sitting attorney general.

Lois Lerner, IRS Director of the Exempt Organizations Division, targeted and blocked the granting tax-exemption to some 250 conservative nonprofit groups, with "Tea Party" or "Patriot" in their filing names, prior to elections in 2010 and 2012. That prompted a May 2013 House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing, at which Lerner plead the “Fifth” -- invoking her right against self-incrimination.

On September 11, 2012, the anniversary of 9/11, there was the Benghazi, Libya, attack, in

which the Unted States effectively stood down on resolute defense measures, leading to four

Americans—including the U.S. ambassador—being killed. It was immediately followed by a

massive cover-up orchestrated by Obama U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice.

Then consider Obama Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who refused to comply with State Department protocol requiring all communication to be conducted on secure government communication networks. She insisted on using her own private computer and server located in her residence, putting America’s national security information at risk.

When controversy surfaced after her State Department term was over, an FBI investigation ensued. July 5, 2016, FBI Director James Comey itemized Hillary Clinton’s actions: 1) her use of an insecure private email server; 2) Clinton’s destruction of evidence under subpoena that included 31,000 emails by “BleachBitting” her hard drive storage devices: and 3) the physical destruction by hammer blows of some 13 cell phones and communication devices.  Federal law, specifically 18 U.S.C. $1519, prohibits the destruction or falsification of records with the intent to obstruct justice, with penalties up to 20 years in prison and substantial fines. Comey gave Clinton a pass, incredulously suggesting that the evidence did not meet the legal threshold for prosecution.

On September 6, 2016, Obama completed the “nuclear deal,” secretly transferring a total of $1.7 billion in cash to Iran, stacked on wooden pallets and loaded onto unmarked planes.

It is important to connect the dots and not forget other key players in Obama’s national security team that included John Brennan, CIA director from 2013 to 2017; and James Clapper, director of National Intelligence from 2010 to 2017.

Brennan’s record can be traced back to the late 1990s when he was CIA station chief in Saudi Arabia at the time when visas were approved and issued to several Saudis who later became 9/11 hijackers. In 2014, under Brennan’s leadership, the CIA hacked into the computers of Senate Intelligence Committee staffers. When brought before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Brennan initially denied the wrongdoing. Later he was forced to backtrack and admit false testimony when the CIA Inspector General produced definitive evidence confirming unauthorized access.

When in March of 2013 James Clapper was providing testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, he was directly asked about whether the NSA collected data on the American people. Clapper told a boldfaced lie that the NSA did not conduct surveillance or collect and store any type of data on hundreds of millions of Americans, when in fact the contrary was common knowledge.

In October 2020, only three weeks prior to the presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Brennan and Clapper orchestrated and enlisted some 51 former intelligence officials to sign a public letter, to be placed in the media nationwide, accusing Trump of being a Russian asset and suggesting the New York Post's damning report on Hunter Biden’s laptop had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation. That has all been proven false.

Now comes former Democrat DNI Tulsi Gabbard, who on Friday July 18, 2025 made recommendation to U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi that Barack Obama and his national security team be “prosecuted for a treasonous conspiracy committed in 2016 and 2017 that amounted to a coup with the objective of trying to usurp President Trump from fulfilling the mandate given him by the American people.” She further stressed that “every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happen again.”

One of the critical dates in Gabbard’s case was January 5, 2017, when Obama convened a White House meeting to discuss and plot tactics and strategy to undermine and disempower the duly-elected President Trump. Starting with Obama, those at that meeting turn out to be a familiar cast of characters, including former James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. Gabbard’s evidence includes other meetings and other lawbreakers involved with this seditious conspiracy.

Let us hope that Trump’s attorney general Pam Bondi has the courage to indict and prosecute lawbreakers to the full extent of the law wherever in the deep state ruling class they are found. The restoration of clear, consistent, and uniform standards of justice could be the greatest accomplishment of the Trump administration, creating a legacy in the league of Madison and the Founding Fathers. Achieving rapid progress in the restoration of equal justice under the law will help restore America’s moral capital and help open the way for national spiritual revival. Such would be cause for a true celebration of the 250th anniversary of America in 2026.



Trump Wins When He Does the Undoable


The greatness of Donald Trump’s second term lies in the fact that he just doesn’t care anymore about the alleged norms and guardrails that are supposed to restrict us and no one else. He just doesn’t give a damn. He showed it off the other day when he fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Predictably, but somewhat halfheartedly, the regime media immediately complained that he was firing the bureaucrat who exposed allegedly bad economic stats. Get it? He’s trying to silence the honest voices of honesty and honestness. But you could tell their hearts weren’t really in it. She’s a Biden-selected incompetent at best, but more likely, a resistance saboteur. They know the scam. And we know the scam. Everything’s a lie and a scam.

Understanding that is remarkably liberating. When you know it’s all baloney, the moral obligation you might have once felt to comply with the norms no longer applies. When you refuse to play their game, you win. And Trump is winning.

This BLS bureaucrat was continually releasing various economic statistics and then, a couple of months later, massively “correcting” them. And I mean, massively – these are huge changes to statistics that everyone from the Fed to other government agencies to businesses were using to do their economic planning. This incompetence had a real effect, and it was especially damaging to Donald Trump, who is making economic revival the centerpiece of his new administration. 

This was a case of “You had one job,” and she continually failed to perform it. But that’s just assuming that she’s incompetent. There’s no reason to assume that. At one time, maybe you could default to the assumption that a bureaucrat who screwed up so massively and undermined a Republican president was just not good at her job. Maybe she’s very good at her job and just considers her job to be the same as most of these resistance bureaucrats do – to damage the Donald Trump administration and prevent him from implementing his policies. There’s absolutely no reason to believe that she’s not intentionally misleading the American people with her fake stats. We don’t owe any other bureaucrat the default of assuming good faith. The bureaucracy’s track record of undermining this president is such that the burden of proof is on the bureaucrats to prove their good faith, not on us to prove bad faith.

But even if we did assume her good faith, this hack still needed to be punted. What should happen to a bureaucrat who doesn’t perform her job? Her boss should fire her, and her boss is Donald Trump because we elected Donald Trump president. But, in the twisted perspective of the establishment, Donald Trump has no moral authority to exercise the power of the presidency because reasons, even though he was elected president. This is known as “Our Democracy.”

Just understand that you are not part of “our.”

The statistics she released last week were disappointing, but even worse, she made massive corrections from previous months indicating that she has totally failed to perform her job adequately. Now, there are excuses. See, there were budget cuts and hiring freezes, and people just won’t respond to the BLS surveys. Oh, well, then it’s OK. I mean, those are some great excuses, so we can’t expect the bureaucrat to act accurately and perform her job. We just have to sit back and accept that she’s going to continue to fail because it’s hard. 

What could be a more Washington, DC, attitude?

That attitude certainly won’t apply to you if you try it in the private sector, unless you work as an HR person, in which case you can keep failing forever. No, in the private sector, they generally require results. The American people were not paying her to come up with a compelling excuse. They were paying her to come up with accurate statistics. Is it hard to do that? Yes, it probably is. And? We can trace back a significant number of America’s cultural, political, and social problems to the feminine idea that it’s acceptable not to do your job if you can play the violin hard enough and generate a plausible excuse.

How about demanding that the bureaucrats get it done or get out?

That’s what Trump does, because he was a businessman who built tall buildings. And when you build tall buildings, excuses don’t cut it because excuses don’t keep giant concrete structures from collapsing. You’ve got to get it right. And it’s not unreasonable for him to expect this hack to get it right once in a while, instead of consistently failing to perform to even the most minimal standard.

We should be celebrating this rare example of accountability. We should be cheering on our president for refusing to allow a bureaucrat who simply can’t hack to continue to collect a salary while failing, failing, and failing again, each time with a failure greater than the previous failure. But no. No, we can’t do that because it’s Donald Trump, and Donald Trump is special. The normal rules don’t apply to Donald Trump. Sure, he may have won the election, but that doesn’t give him the right to rule. After all, he rejected his own position in the ruling class. He’s a traitor to the elite. Therefore, neither he nor, by extension, you, the people who elected him, have any right to exercise any of the powers associated with being the president.

We see this all over the place, especially from obscure district court judges with names that sound like they came out of Mordor, breaking every procedural rule to invent reasons why Donald Trump can’t do the basic things that a chief executive can do. That leaves it to SCOTUS to awkwardly play Whack-a-Mole and beat down these uppity robed pipsqueaks. But it’s not just frustrating to have them knowingly abuse their power. It’s frustrating because when they abuse their power, they are stealing our power from us. We have a right to expect the policies that we voted for to be enacted within the bounds of the Constitution. And the Constitution gives the president the power to control the executive branch, whether the bureaucrats like it or not.

Understand that there’s no moral basis for this resistance to Donald Trump. It’s a pure power play. Donald Trump 2.0 got burned badly in his first term by what recent revelations are showing was a deliberate conspiracy to prevent him from actually being the president. They followed it up by cheating in an election, trying to bankrupt him, framing him for invented crimes so he would spend the rest of his life in jail, and then attempting to murder him twice. Yeah, murder him – the campaign of demonization and hate against him certainly had an intended fringe benefit in their eyes of provoking homicidal malcontents to try to shoot him, assuming there’s nothing even more sinister involved. It’s certainly telling that we can’t get any answers about either of the would-be assassins, who did succeed in murdering one American citizen.

No, this is a game of power. It’s a game of power where the president is now playing to win, and we need to back into the hilt. No weakness. No hesitation. Pedal to the metal, folks.



Yes, Blame the Hamas Death Cult for Every Single Ounce of Suffering in Gaza

This past weekend, I appeared on “Fox News Sunday” as a panelist, opining on matters ranging from the shambolic state of the Democratic Party to an absurd and protracted culture war skirmish. If you watch the clips in those hyperlinks, and crank the volume all the way up, you may notice a faint commotion outside the studio. A small handful of "pro-Palestinian" protesters were creating as much noise as they could, chanting, banging on pots and pans, and blaring a police-style siren (ironically, I'd bet that many, most, or all of these agitators also support defunding the police, which is another fixation of the Dirtbag Coalition they represent). Here's one video that illustrates what was going on:

This collection of pro-Hamas malcontents didn't even come close to derailing the broadcast or distracting our on-air concentration, but they have caused a great nuisance to workers inside the building, for days on end. Many organizations and companies are housed in that location, and their employees have had to listen to this relentless, pointless ruckus all day long. The gathered noisemakers have been shouting at people entering and exiting the building, often shrieking the ubiquitous left-wing catch-all epithet: "Shame!" After my segments, I tweeted a message to the mini-mob:

This prompted a characteristically gross and mendacious reply from a Hamas apologist and venomous loather of Israel. I won't be embedding his posts or naming this person, but this is what he wrote, as relayed to me by others:

Imagine supporting mass death for 22 months, one of the worst massacres of this century, thousands of kids killed, and then accusing your opponents of being/supporting a ‘death cult’.

Here is my statement on this morally-bereft nonsense:

I don’t find it productive to engage with people who are very dishonest and who noisily occupy the moral low ground while dressing it up as something noble. But I will reiterate that the Hamas Death Cult started this heinous war with a massacre of unimaginable savagery. That Death Cult has rejected every viable path to ending the misery they’ve inflicted, has refused to surrender, and has refused to release the remaining living hostages they stole (and are currently starving). They boast that their butchery was a great success. They vow to repeat their genocidal atrocities as often as possible. They revel in Jewish death, and also accept Palestinian death as propaganda opportunities. This is why they are a Death Cult. And they rely on lies from their odious allies around the world to survive to fight and kill another day. It’s ghastly and evil.

It's not an exaggeration to say that Death Cultists eagerly exploit Palestinian deaths for their purposes. They admit it openly. It is their strategy and they're proud to say so, just like they're "proud" to "sacrifice" (notice the active verb) "martyrs," including unwilling ones:

Moussa Abu Marzouk, a prominent member of the Hamas political bureau, was asked in an interview why Hamas built over 300 miles of tunnels in the Gaza Strip but has never built bomb shelters for Gazan civilians...“We built the tunnels because we are fighting from inside the tunnels,” Abu Marzouk replied. He offered no explanation at all as to why Hamas has not separately constructed bunkers for Gazan civilians below their apartment buildings, schools and workplaces...Hamas considers two million Gazan civilians, including children, as martyrs, whether they want to be or not...“We are called a nation of martyrs,” said another top Hamas official, Ghazi Hamad. “And we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.” He promised more attacks: “There will be a second, a third, a fourth.” When asked whether he sought the annihilation of Israel, Hamad matter-of-factly replied, “Yes, of course.”

Other Palestinians who despise Hamas confirm this as well:

Imagine defending this. Imagine apologizing for this. Imagine rooting for this. Imagine blaming this on the Jews. It is crystal clear to anyone in touch with reality, and not blinded by hatred, that if people are genuinely concerned about suffering in Gaza, they should be furious at Hamas for starting this war, extending this war, and entirely selfishly blocking steps to ameliorate the suffering. All of the pressure and emphasis should be on Hamas surrendering and releasing the hostages. But for the crowd that was already opposed to Israel's very existence, and against Israel's self-defense after October 7th, and ripping down hostage posters in the weeks following the massacre and large-scale kidnapping, it's never been about the people of Gaza. It's been about the demonization and intended eradication of the Jewish State. These people are at best allied with Hamas, in terms of aligned interests. At worst, and this applies to many of them, they are actual supporters of the Hamas' barbarians and barbarity. Which is why they don't care at all about the anti-Hamas voices inside Gaza. Stories like this don't help their sick narrative, and certainly don't hurt Israel, so they're ignored or even threatened. This essay was written by a man named Yasser Abu Shabab, a Palestinian whose family members were murdered by Hamas. He decided to do something about it:

For the past seven weeks, our neighborhood has become the only area in Gaza governed by a Palestinian administration not affiliated with Hamas since 2007. Our armed patrols have successfully kept Hamas and other militant groups out. As a result, life here no longer feels like life in Gaza. In eastern Rafah, people have access to shelter, food, water, and basic medical supplies—all without fear of Hamas stealing aid or being caught in the crossfire with the Israeli military. The effect has been tremendous: no more airstrike casualties, no chaotic aid lines, no evacuation orders, and no fear of booby-trapped homes or children being used as human shields by Hamas. While there is still much to improve, people now sleep at night without fear of death. This should not be the exception in Gaza—it can be the model, the new norm. The vast majority of Gazans reject Hamas. They don’t want it to remain in power after the war ends. But though they hate Hamas, they still fear it. Since protests began earlier this year calling for the group’s removal, demonstrators have been killed, tortured or forced into hiding...Hamas still controls aid access and dominates institutions like the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or Unrwa. Hamas still turns aid centers into hubs for its own operations. In some areas, the only thing preventing people from fleeing is the presence of Israeli troops, which might withdraw as part of a cease-fire.

Re-read those accurate, devastating counts (stealing aid, human shields, dominating UNRWA) against Hamas. They're coming from Palestinians, not Israel or its allies. Notice that in the Hamas-free zone, enforced by heavily armed men, people have the supplies they need to survive. They are not hungry. They are not "caught in the crossfire" with Israeli forces because the Israelis recognize they're not the enemy and are leaving them alone. (This, for the record, is the opposite of what a "genocide" would look like). The villain, as always, is the Hamas death cult. Same phenomenon here:

When much of the world had written off northern Gaza as unreachable, 30-year-old east-Jerusalem resident Sarah Awaidah and her team carved out a lifeline. Under the umbrella of Mena Aid, a regional partner coalition operating through the Multifaith Alliance (MFA), and in coordination with Israeli authorities, she built a system that moved hundreds of trucks of food and supplies into Gaza – bypassing Hamas and private contractors who had turned hunger into a business. The result: more than 100,000 families fed. The cost: her own safety..."I never imagined that creating a safe, independent humanitarian route would become the reason my life might end," Sarah Awaidah told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview that took place in a safe house in Israel. "After delivering 346 trucks of aid between September 2024 and February 2025, we reached 100,622 families," Awaidah said. "We decided to scale up distribution on June 30, 2025, at a time when no one was able to get anything into Gaza because of looting, chaos and multiple layers of obstruction on the ground." 

Operating through Mena Aid, Awaidah’s team designed an alternative route to deliver food and essential supplies..."There’s a lot of private sector businessmen – some associated with Hamas and other political groups – who try to use aid to make millions," she said. According to Awaidah, her team’s success threatened those who profit from scarcity. By flooding the market with free goods, they not only fed families but also drove down the inflated prices charged for basics like sugar and flour. "If there’s no sugar in Gaza, and we bring it in for free, they can’t keep selling it at outrageous prices," she said. "So we became their problem." ... The attacks on her came quickly. "I began receiving death threats – not just from Gaza, but from the West Bank… heartbreakingly, some came from people I once trusted."

Hamas and their allies are killing and threatening anyone who seeks to feed hungry Gazans through means that do not enrich Hamas. This is evil, Death Cult behavior. Israel, by contrast, is trying to facilitate this life-sustaining humanitarian aid. Some aid workers have been murdered.  This woman has been forced into hiding amid death threats is now living in a safe house inside Israel. And all of this is the fault of...Israel? That is the Hamas line, of course. And it's the lie being spouted by intellectually and morally broken Hamas allies. These people screech about starvation in Gaza (many of them were lying about this for the better part of two years, and some of the most upsetting photographic examples of the crisis have turned out to be false), while backing a group that is entirely responsible for the ongoing war and the resulting hunger. These vile apologists are running interference for a Death Cult that threatens, maims and murders in order to stop the “wrong” people from feeding Gaza. They are the demented public relations agents of monsters who are intentionally starving the hostages they stole:

Those awful images are from a video released by Hamas because they're proud of their inhumanity. And as we highlighted yesterday, they're openly boasting that their unspeakable acts of vicious brutality are “working” in the realm of international public opinion. To the extent that they're correct in this bragging, it's a damnable indictment of so many global institutions, leaders and journalists. People of good character and good will must never be complicit with the Death Cult and its abominable machinations and manipulations, especially as its leaders pledge to carry out more atrocities, forever. This leaked “decision,” I suspect, is a hard-nosed negotiating tool of the Israelis. They quite rightly refuse to reward Hamas for its active sabotage of any meaningful ceasefire or peace prospects, and quite rightly don't want to signal to supposed leaders in the UK, France, Canada etc. that their craven, amoral diplomatic bullying will yield even more Israeli concessions. This is a middle finger to those forces, and it's well deserved. Now not occupying Gaza can be considered an Israeli “concession” if any when a ceasefire may finally be reached.
