Americans Shouldn’t Have to Subsidize Their Own Mistreatment

There is plenty of evidence that taxpayer dollars are funding the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles and elsewhere.  Here’s how that happens: domestic agitators set up “non-profits” and other kinds of “non-governmental organizations” with deceptively innocuous names.  They apply for monetary grants from state and federal agencies.  Government agencies use their discretion to award outside groups.  These groups then pay rioters to cause mayhem on the streets.  Voila!  Government-funded pop-up revolutions are ready to go!

This isn’t anything new.  Politicians have been diverting taxpayer funds to their favorite “public policy” groups for so long that a large professional class now exists whose entire business model consists of establishing new “foundations,” bilking government agencies of fresh taxpayer dollars, filling their own bank accounts, and occasionally doing the bidding of the government bureaucrats responsible for doling out the “free” money.

Have you ever wondered why so many government-adjacent “influencers” who show up on cable news are the “president,” “founder,” or “CEO” of organizations with serious-sounding names whose activities sound peculiarly vague?  Most of those empty suits with fancy titles are the heads of recently made-up entities that specialize in leeching off the taxpayer.  Whenever their prefabricated organizations miss out on easy government money, they simply create new ones and play the game again.

These government-funded third parties produce nothing of value.  Their names suggest that they pursue charitable missions, but they help only themselves.  They are parasites that suck taxpayer wealth from working families, and if their own “work” impacts a local community at all, it is usually in the form of organized “protests” that block traffic, shut down businesses, and prevent Americans from getting to actual jobs.  They are government-subsidized agents of chaos.

Consider how insane this arrangement is.  In Los Angeles alone, dozens of law enforcement officers have been injured during the last two weeks of riots.  Shops have been vandalized and looted.  Citizens are effectively blackmailed to support anti-ICE terrorists or suffer serious consequences.  As the famous “Libs of TikTok” social media account has repeatedly pointed out, “Democrats are funding the riots and destruction of our cities.”  While speaking in Los Angeles, VP Vance noted that California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass “actively encouraged illegal migration” and then put American citizens in harm’s way by fanning the flames of the anti-ICE riots.

Let’s break this down.  Taxpayers fork over money to pay the government salaries of Newsom and Bass.  They pay for a police force and provide that force with the vehicles and equipment necessary to defend the civilian population.  They pay for public infrastructure, such as roads and bridges, and pay for trash removal and sanitation crews to keep their cities clean.

However, they also pay the agitators — who receive taxpayer grants — to destroy city parks, vandalize businesses, graffiti streets, and attack residents.  They pay for Newsom, Bass, and other Democrat blowhards to make speeches that defend the actions of rioters and condemn the actions of law enforcement officers.  They pay for damaged police vehicles and equipment and cover overtime expenses.  They pay for the hospital bills of injured officers.  They pay to repair broken windows, busted concrete, and burnt-out buildings.  They pay in the form of higher insurance premiums.  They pay in lost time and money while government-subsidized domestic terrorists block traffic and threaten drivers.  They pay by diverting police resources away from other assignments that might prevent or solve crimes.  Most seriously of all, taxpayers pay big time if they or their loved ones are hurt or killed during these government-financed, Democrat-sponsored riots.

How does it make sense to pay for government officials who cost taxpayers even more money?  It seems more reasonable to cut the whole government off and start paying for private services.  Better to be the mayor, policeman, and governor of your own home than to pay for Democrats to send thieves, arsonists, and violent barbarians into your community.

At the very least, Democrat politicians who give aid and comfort to criminals should be held legally liable for the costs of those criminals’ destructive actions.  When Democrat politicians and Democrat-funded groups give aid and comfort to foreign soldiers and terrorists, they should be charged and tried for treason against citizens of the United States.  Why should American taxpayers be expected to fund a foreign invasion?  Why should Democrat politicians responsible for opening the nation’s gates to foreign invaders not be branded traitors?  This is not Mexico, Venezuela, Yemen, Somalia, or China.  Government officials who act as foreign agents and against the interests of American citizens are domestic saboteurs and enemies of the United States.

Who profits from this government-subsidized treachery?

As regular commenter Lydia points out, Democrat politicians profit greatly.  Because U.S. congressional and Electoral College representation depends upon census calculations that include non-citizen residents and illegal immigrants, Democrat politicians profit by encouraging the flow of millions of foreign nationals into their jurisdictions.  The more illegal aliens that California has, the more members of Congress California sends to D.C. and the greater California’s influence is on presidential elections.

California officials who flagrantly break U.S. immigration laws are rewarded with more power and taxpayer money.  In any other line of work, such ongoing criminal conspiracies would be prosecuted as straight-up Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) cases.  Instead, Democrat politicians get new districts, and Democrat-aligned NGOs get new grants to bankroll new crimes.

Businesses that are willing to break federal and state laws also profit from government-sponsored riots in support of illegal immigration.  As commenter Mark Anderson notes, businesses save a lot of money when they can ignore minimum wage laws, workers’ compensation requirements, social security obligations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and mandated medical expenses.  When companies publicly support anti-ICE riots, they are cynically supporting their supply of cheap labor and the unregulated system that allows them to exploit workers while profiting from systemic violations of employment law.

What do American citizens get in return for all this government-subsidized, Democrat-sponsored lawbreaking?  As commenter Eric explains, Americans suffer from downward pressure on their wages, more crime, larger prison populations, housing inflation, increased homelessness, more crowded public school classrooms, more uninsured motorists driving without licenses, more dangerous highways, greater demand upon emergency services, packed emergency rooms, higher healthcare costs, greater risk of terrorist attacks, and an accelerating number of “anchor” babies providing a hook for extended families of foreign nationals who don’t always acclimate well to American culture and who often don’t speak any English.

What else do American citizens get?  They get to pay for illegal aliens’ attorneys!  That’s right!  Democrats are so convinced that this is a winning policy issue that New York Governor Kathy Hochul even held a press conference promising to use taxpayer dollars to help illegal immigrants fight their own deportations.  So once again taxpayers are forking over money to government officials in order to help Democrats defend foreign nationals who are actively breaking our laws!

So let’s get this straight.  State and federal governments steal money from hard-working Americans.  Government bureaucrats then reroute that money into the bank accounts of privileged professionals running NGOs.  Some NGOs aid and abet illegal immigration into the United States.  Other NGOs finance riots and domestic terrorism in defense of illegal immigration.  The more successful that this ongoing criminal enterprise is, the more that American citizens suffer.  But rather than help Americans suffering from the harms of illegal immigration, Democrat-controlled governments are using taxpayer dollars to pay for illegal aliens’ lawyers.

Maybe Americans should keep their money, prosecute the NGOs, and exile the politicians to the foreign countries they really represent.  Why should taxpayers have to fund a government that hates them?

The Current Thing: Programmed Protesters Are Unfurling Yet Another Country’s Flag on America's Streets

The story unfurls here. (WATCH)

That meme captures the absurdity of it all.

The Democrat Party rolls out something new for its drones to latch onto with regularity. Posters call it the ‘current thing.’

It’s all performative nonsense.

All these protests seem far from organic, and many suspect the majority of participants are being paid. Commenters have a message for the dummies doing it for free.

You’ll get no argument from us.

Some point out that over two million Iranians are living in America. Commenters point out why those Iranians aren’t waving the current flag of Iran in the streets.

They want their country back and its old flag restored.

Commenters say with all these ‘current thing’ protests, flag companies in China must be killing it.

We wouldn’t be surprised if a protester sewed all their flags together and made that pic a reality.

πŸ’©DooDyπŸ’© Note: Leading up to these riots and the "No Kings, Only Cartels" marches ---- ANTIFA INTERNATIONAL has been advertising for "riot specialists" --- paying from $6,500 to $12,500 PER WEEK ---- PER WEEK ---- PER WEEK!

Trump's Attack on Iran Will Not Destroy the America First Movement

The critical follow-on function for a devastating strike like the one Donald Trump just launched against the goat-molesting seventh-century semi-humans ruling Iran is battle damage assessment. BDA is a crucial function – you need to understand how much pain you inflicted and calculate whether you need to inflict some more. But you don’t just do it on the enemy; you have to do it on yourself, too. It’s vital that we, as America First conservatives, conduct our own BDA on what this strike did to our movement.

As it has become clear, America First is not a monolith. There are various factions within the America First coalition, including some ravenous hawks who have yearned for 46 years to see this righteous retribution delivered to those drooling barbarian fanatics – on this issue, I’m a hawk – as well as those who, at various levels of rationality, run from skeptical to actively opposed to busting the mullahs’ bunkers. In the run-up to the bomb run, we heard dire warnings that Trump launching this attack would shatter our coalition, crumbling the unity that brought disparate factions together into a united front to defeat the grotesquely evil establishment that had infected our great nation. The question is whether Donald Trump’s decision to send in the B-2 Spirits will break the spirit of the America First force he has built.

My take: That’s not going to happen.

We keep hearing from people who insist that they weren’t voting to bomb Iran when they voted for Donald Trump, but I was totally voting to bomb Iran when I voted for Donald Trump. I knew that Donald Trump wasn’t going to be a pathetic pushover like Barack Obama, the soft new fish of world politics who sold himself for cigarettes and security on the cell block. I was a high school freshman when these creeps first dared to put their stinking paws on Americans after invading our embassy. America never avenged that or the deaths at Desert One. In the decades that followed, Iran’s legacy of terrorism, torture, and murder has run the tally to well over 1,000 dead Americans. That atrocities from Beirut to Khobar Towers to the explosively formed projectiles in Iraq have gone unavenged until now – and it is only partially avenged as it stands – is a disgrace. Third World potentates should shiver in cold horror at the thought of our unmerciful vengeance should they ever presume to harass an American.

This isn’t “Iraq 2: Electric Boogaloo.” When people complain that Donald Trump promised us no new wars – you can see that the memo for that went out to the Democrats, and when you agree with the Official Democrat Talking Points™, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself – they are missing the point. This is not a new war. We’ve been at war with these fanatical creeps for half a century, and it’s long overdue that we finally struck back.

But, of course, the people who think like me are only a part of the America First coalition – the polling suggests we are a very big part. Still, a significant part of the American First coalition, including friends of mine who I greatly respect, disagree, and deserve a hearing when they feel strongly about something. They think differently about this issue. And you know what? They’re not crazy to do so.

As a soldier, you always want to understand what the other side thinks. Part of the reason we prevailed this weekend was that we followed that and other teachings of Sun Tzu instead of the teachings of Ibram X. Kendi. As a lawyer, I always had to understand the other guy’s arguments to win in court. Moreover, since literally everybody you talk to as a lawyer disagrees with you, you also learn not to take it personally. This isn’t personal; we can disagree, the decision gets made, then we move forward together – and we must.

The fact is, most of those on the right who were against the strike had quite reasonable arguments in support of their position. They were not crazy. They were not evil. Sure, there are the weirdos and dummies out there pretending to be part of our movement who spew out things like “I won’t die for Israel” and blame the Jews for their inability to attain and sustain turgidity – we have idiots in our party just like the Democrats have idiots in theirs although, in the Democrats’ case, the idiots are the party instead of the exception.

Let’s consider the case made by those who disagree with me about crushing these vermin:

1. The United States has a long track record of total failure in the Middle East, with promises of short and painless victories that turned into endless bloodbaths that slaughtered and maimed the best of the American people.

2. America has real problems at home, and we ought to focus our efforts here.

3. We can’t trust the intelligence.

4. This is Israel’s fight, not ours.

5. Lindsey Graham, Mike Pence, and Adam Kinzinger think it was a good idea.

6. This will shatter the American First coalition.

Again, none of these arguments are crazy. These are good points, offered in good faith, that require fair consideration. You can rationally conclude that we should not have attacked Iran without being a nut, a fool, or an antisemite. Many of my close friends have. But I think they are wrong to do so.

Yes, America’s foreign policy elite has completely screwed up everything east of Suez in the last 25 years, but history is longer than 25 years. I was there in the Gulf War 35 years ago, and we had a short, sharp, total victory. We are not condemned to eternal reruns of the failures of Iran and Afghanistan, operations that started brilliantly and only went off the rails because the Foggy Bottom geniuses wanted to impose their faculty lounge version of democracy, including such wine woman obsessions as gender weirdness, upon an unwilling foreign populace. With solid leadership of the kind we now have in the Pentagon and a proper mission that has us acting as warriors rather than cultural missionaries, our troops can achieve victory.

The American people, especially our troops and their families, have suffered unbelievably because of our garbage elite’s screw-ups. Thinking about this column, I tallied up friends and acquaintances who were hurt or killed in the wars of the last 25 years. There’s the officer wounded by an American traitor and another officer wounded by an Afghan traitor. I have two friends whose lungs are permanently wrecked. I have another whose head was nearly taken off by a 122mm rocket. And then there was the son of a former client who was killed at Abbey Gate.

Don’t ever minimize what happened to our troops or how it has properly influenced so many of our vets to be skeptical of, or even actively opposed to, any military action over there. America’s failed ruling class squandered their trust, and they are absolutely justified in applying their experience to the present. I don’t agree with them – I think this situation is readily distinguishable because Iran is (was) a very real threat and we required payback for past injuries, but their argument is well taken. We should listen respectfully and not insult or belittle them. They’ve got a point.

As far as having real problems at home, we’re always going to have problems at home. The problem at home I worry about most is having an Iranian nuclear device detonate over Los Angeles. I don’t have to believe the intelligence, which can be corrupted in both directions, to recognize the peril. The fact is, the Iranians did have a nuclear capability because they said so, and everybody agreed that they did. They also said they wanted first Israel, then the US, obliterated. I believe in taking people seriously when they tell you they’re going to kill you. It might not have happened this year or in five years, but in ten years, it would have. Apocalyptic death cults seek to cause apocalyptic death.

And that’s why I disagree about it being Israel’s fight. It’s not just Israel’s fight. It’s Western civilization’s fight, and unfortunately, most of Western civilization has decided to take the femboy option of cowardice and decline. It’s not fair that the job of defending humanity has fallen to us almost alone among Western nations, but life’s not fair. Israel’s been fighting our battle alone for far too long.

Then comes perhaps the most compelling argument against Iranian intervention. That Lindsey Graham, Mike Pence, and Adam Kinzinger are in favor of it should make anyone reconsider. Statistically, we were always going to have some number of terrible people happen to side with us. But yes, when you find that these guys agree with you, it’s time to do a recheck. But like broken clocks, these guys are going to be right once in a while.

Now, the big question – will this ruin Trump? Will this break up our fragile new coalition? No. America First is not a pacifist movement. America First is a Jacksonian movement, where we leave you alone until you mess with us, and then we kill you. Some people will disagree with Donald Trump’s actions. Every time Donald Trump does something, some faction of the coalition will disagree with it. However, we need to stick together because we agree on most things. Those who did not support intervention in Iran are not going to find friends on the Democrat side – the Democrat side opposes it because they hate America. In contrast, those in our coalition who opposed intervening in Iran did so because they think that’s best for America. They are patriots. This is a key difference.

Disputes about the America First doctrine are adjudicated by Donald Trump. Down the road, Donald Trump will inevitably leave the scene, but right now, he’s the guy we decided to trust to be the referee. He’s the guy we put our confidence in. He’s the guy that we picked as our leader. He hasn’t lied about who he is or tried to fool us. He wanted peace and worked for it, and when that didn’t work, he pulled the trigger to make peace happen despite the Iranians. Leaders lead; thank goodness America has one after four years of President Eggplant.

What we America Firsters are going to do now is move forward, supporting our troops and supporting our president. America First is going to survive this crisis – the ham-handed efforts by the Democrats to exploit it to break us up, notwithstanding – and the attack on Iran will make us stronger because normies will see Trump‘s leadership as decisive and strong. We need to have a debate about where we go from here, not a fight. Tomorrow, we’ll stand shoulder to shoulder once more to make America great again.

Are the Wheels Coming Off the DNC?

A sure-fire sign that your political party is out of touch and awful is when people stop giving money to it. Without money, there is nothing any party can do, from outreach and running ads to simply paying people to show up to work (there are a lot of “true believers” out there, but even they have limits on what they’ll do for free), the word is the Democratic National Committee may need to borrow money to cover essential bills in a few months. Let me just say this: I love it, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people.

But does it mean the party is falling apart and could go bankrupt? Yes, actually. Though it’s not likely.

While it has not happened in a very long time in this country, political parties come and go—they collapse and reform as something else. There is no reason it couldn’t happen to the Democrats or Republicans in the future—it’s just that the Democrats are there right now.

The one question I have is whether the party is not just about whether or not it will go broke and collapse; it is about why it is happening.

I honestly don’t know if people have kept their wallets shut because the party has gone too crazy or if their donor base doesn’t think the party has gone crazy enough. Their donor base, after all, is largely progressive, wealthy suburban women who revel in being the belle of the garden party by having a “trans” kid or some an illegal alien maid they pretend is “like family.” For them, the party hasn’t gone crazy enough because they base their existence on being able to correct people over gender and pronouns.

Think of a room full of Karens.

Have they stopped giving? We don’t know. It could be the other, old school Democrats looking around a room full of people they don’t recognize and can’t relate to. How can you give to a political party full of people who not only pretend to have no clue what a man or a woman is, but also fight harder to continue to mutilate the genitals of children than they fight a terrorist state like Iran?

It has to be odd to be a member of a party that stands up to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents by cheering violence against them, while forming a human chain around anyone in the country illegally, no matter how heinous the crimes they’ve committed are. It’s not a growth industry to protect child rapists over children simply because your donors want their grass cut cheaper, yet that’s where they are.

It could also be that Democrat donors are just not as stupid as the party heads think they are.

While it seems unlikely, and they are plenty stupid no matter what, maybe their base is sick of the attempted manipulation the liberal establishment used to try to pry open their wallets? When you get an email highlighting a “HILLARY CLINTON ANNOUNCEMENT” (their capitalizing, as they type like a teenage girl with a crush) that declares they need your money “Because Hillary Clinton delivered a STUNNING call to action for grassroots supporters everywhere to rise up and DEFEND our House Democrats.” What was this “STUNNING” message? “Our work isn’t done – not while Mike Johnson holds the Speaker’s Gavel.”

Are you stunned?

That email asked for 22,918 donations, another asks for 23,418 donations, and others asked for various other random numbers of donations simply to set a “goal” no one will ever know if it was met (or will never be met because it’s irrelevant) because if someone dumb thinks they’re part of achieving something they’re more likely to act.

But the manipulation isn’t working anymore for the Democratic National Committee because the purpose of the manipulation – the election of Democrats for the advancement of a left-wing agenda – is less appealing now than it has ever been. “You can’t polish a turd,” what Democrats want to impose on the country is a big, steaming pile of just that. Fewer and fewer people are buying it anymore.

While the world would be better off if the DNC were no more, my only fear is that whatever comes next will be worse. The pendulum swings in each direction, and right now, it is in ours. God help us with whatever comes next, for the other side is crazier when that swing shifts in the other direction.

President Trump Targets Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie

The frustration with the Rand Paul and Thomas Massie political opposition is understandable.  However, this approach by President Trump comes with the possibility of a backfire.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him. He is a negative force who almost always Votes “NO,” no matter how good something may be. He’s a simple minded “grandstander” who thinks it’s good politics for Iran to have the highest level Nuclear weapon, while at the same time yelling “DEATH TO AMERICA” at every chance they get.

Iran has killed and maimed thousands of Americans, and even took over the American Embassy in Tehran under the Carter Administration. We had a spectacular military success yesterday, taking the “bomb” right out of their hands (and they would use it if they could!) but, as usual, and despite all of the praise and accolades received, this “lightweight” Congressman is against what was so brilliantly achieved last night in Iran.

Massie is weak, ineffective, and votes “NO” on virtually everything put before him (Rand Paul, Jr.), no matter how good something may be. He is disrespectful to our great military, and all that they stand for, not even acknowledging their brilliance and bravery in yesterday’s attack, which was a total and complete WIN. Massie should drop his fake act and start putting America First, but he doesn’t know how to get there — he doesn’t have a clue!

He’ll undoubtedly vote against the Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, even though non-passage means a 68% Tax Increase for everybody, and many things far worse than that. MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague! The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary, and I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard. MAGA is not about lazy, grandstanding, nonproductive politicians, of which Thomas Massie is definitely one. Thank you to our incredible military for the AMAZING job they did last night. It was really SPECIAL!!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.” (LINK)

(VIA AXIOS) – President Trump’s political operation has launched an aggressive effort to unseat Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, its first such effort to defeat a sitting Republican incumbent, Axios has learned.

Trump’s $500 million political apparatus is the most powerful, well-funded force in American politics — and gives Trump a weapon with which to target any lawmaker who crosses him.

Trump’s team has launched Kentucky MAGA, a super PAC devoted to defeating Massie in the May 2026 primary.

The organization will be run by Trump’s senior political advisers, Tony Fabrizio and Chris LaCivita.

LaCivita said the PAC would spend “whatever it takes” to defeat Massie.

Plans for taking on Massie were in the works before the congressman decided to call Trump’s attack on Iran unconstitutional, a Trump aide said. (more)
