Multiculturalism

A fundamental problem in the West is accelerated deculturation. It is as if we have lost touch with our own history and given up our very identity. Afraid of our own shadow, we insist on being open-minded and gullible. At least for the sake of appearances, the constant focus of modern-age leaders. However, we become all the more vulnerable to hostile claims about our sinfulness as Westerners and alleged debt to the rest of the world.

For years, the same progressives, who accuse the West of sins such as “racism, colonialism, and slavery”, have been praising “diversity” and “multiculturalism”.

In Western Europe, it was after the world wars, which nearly wiped out every trace of our common past, that democratic parties succeeded in building welfare societies with an unprecedented degree of prosperity and social security. What many overlook, however, is that the welfare society presupposes a culturally homogenous population to function. In any case, society loses its cohesion through the presence of conflicting population groups that actively work to dominate each other (cf. Lebanon).

Insofar as he is expected to make sacrifices, sharing his wealth with them, the average taxpayer must be able to identify with his fellow citizens. Another requirement is trust in the rule of law. Redistribution of wealth on a larger scale only meets with something like general approval in a high-trust society. In clan societies such as those, from which Europe’s immigrants originate, nobody expects impartiality and fairness from state institutions. On the contrary, man is taught from childhood to look after his own, whatever his position in society.

Whereas Western European countries originally represented rather homogeneous populations characterized by shared religious traditions (or moral principles rooted in those traditions), millions of immigrants from North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia have introduced cultures whose values are in conflict with Christian and humanist ones.

Nostalgics may fantasize about the multicultural empires of the past (e.g. Roman, Habsburg, and Russian). On a smaller scale, Yugoslavia embodied the multiethnic society. What the empires — and Yugoslavia — had in common was the unhesitant suppression of tensions between ethnic groups by a strong central power. As soon as this power crumbled, furious conflicts broke out, tearing communities apart.

The history of the Old World is essentially the story of the rise and fall of cultures. Typical of “millennial kingdoms”, whose records we study, is the belief that they cannot pass away but will endure forever. The same illusion exists today.

Superseding primeval urban societies (e.g. Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Phoenician), the polytheistic Greco-Roman culture, fertilized by Judaism, became the birthplace of Christianity. In reversal of widespread persecution of Christians, their heresy became the official religion of the Roman Empire. At its peak, Christianity spread to the most distant provinces of the empire, displacing pagan customs.

All of this came to an abrupt and bloody end with the Islamic invasion from the Arabian Peninsula. To begin with, the enemy advance cost Christendom its lands in North Africa and the Levant, besides leading to the breakdown of the Sasanian Empire in the east. When Anatolia eventually fell to advancing Turks, Christendom had lost three-quarters of its original territory.

In past centuries, Christians have been brutally oppressed in countries where Muslims initially formed a dominant minority, following military conquest, but later became a majority. This transformation is due to various constellations of forced conversions, massacres, and expulsions of Christians — in addition to the high fertility of the conquerors.

Multiculturalism is not practiced in any civilized way in former Christian countries or, for that matter, in any other countries with a dominant Muslim population (majority or minority, as it may be). On the contrary, the “victim-oppressor” trend is the same everywhere. Christians are reduced to “second-class citizens”, legally disadvantaged and virtually defenseless in conflicts with Muslim “first-class citizens”. In the middle of the twentieth century, Christians were still subject to a special tax in “secular” Turkey.

It remains the case that Christians in Egypt and Pakistan must stay low so as not to provoke conflict with first-class citizens and risk kidnapping of daughters, murdering of sons, and looting or burning of property. In none of the Muslim-majority countries, there are freely elected assemblies with independent courts, incorruptible law enforcement officers, and a free press.

Showing the weight of change in Western Europe, Muslim immigrants are now in a position to exploit the rules of democracy to take over governance of urban areas. As their numbers increase, their self-confidence and demands on the surrounding society are growing. Thus, special consideration is expected for Islamic customs and religious prohibitions. A disturbing sign of where things are heading is the bold assumption that not only Muslims, but also Christians (or atheists), must comply with Sharia rules. It is like a foretaste of what will irrevocably await Westerners in a few decades.

Our Christian ancestors in the southern provinces of the Roman Empire never surrendered without a fight to the invading tribes from the Arabian Peninsula, but tried to adapt after the conquest.

The truly remarkable thing about Islamic expansion in our time is that the original citizens of Western Europe have long resigned themselves to the transformation of their society without offering any unequivocal resistance.

It appears as if Westerners have first been de-Christianized and then robbed of their history by the progressive elite. Left to fate without “faith” and “place in history”, they lack the concepts to articulate their longing for the pride of the past and their unwillingness to submit.

Consumerism has truly numbed our senses. As long as there is sports on TV and a car in the garage, we put our trust in the hope that everything will fix itself. Of course, it will not. However, it takes historical insight to know this.

The “democratic window” is closing. In Britain, once the pinnacle of Western civilization, freedom of expression for those who fear Islamic supremacy has been severely restricted. At the same time, authorities allow anti-Semitic demonstrations glorifying terrorism and death threats against Jews on the streets of the cities.

The transition from post-Christian to Islamic society is already underway.

Contrary to utopian fantasies, multiculturalism is in fact a purely transitional phenomenon. In the end, given the current migration rate, Islam becomes the only remaining faith, totally dominant and intolerant. And the rest of society will have to bow in the dust before the new masters. Those cursed by the imams will have to flee: pious Christians, Jews, homosexuals, etc.

Truth be told, we have behaved like happy idiots in the West. As if we have forgotten everything about who we ourselves are and who the Muslims are, we have invited our historical oppressors and tormentors into the remnants of the Christian Roman Empire and encouraged them to multiply and dominate us.

Should we really think that the “rules of the game” have changed in modern times, we are wrong. Oppression of non-Muslims is justified in the holy scriptures. And they are not subject to revision.

The progressives imagine that they may pass as “tolerant” role models, though fundamentally hypocritical and vain. By the same token, they consider themselves superior to those who doubt the benefits of mass immigration and are condescendingly labeled as “right-wing bigots”.

Unlike revolutionaries with a flair for tactical thinking, forming alliances with Islamists to destroy Western civilization, temporarily united by a common enemy, those with historical and cultural self-awareness are outraged by the tendency towards surrender. The profound changes sweeping our society resemble cultural suicide. Symbols of the familiar (e.g. churches and celebration of Christian holidays in schools) are being mocked and disappear one by one.

In Christianity, we stand for love towards our neighbor, whether he is a believer or a sinner. However, nothing in our faith obliges us to betray ourselves and submit to evil, whatever its form of manifestation. On the contrary, we must imitate our Savior, who died for us on the cross, and be courageous in the hour of danger — speak the truth and act justly.

Multiculturalism is a utopian illusion cultivated exclusively by the “ignorant”, the “stupid”, and the “evil” in the West.

The Western Media’s Role in Genocide, Assassinations, and the Near Destruction of the U.S.

As I see it, there were three big stories this week: the media’s pretense that it was ignorant of Biden’s infirmities when it mattered; the cold-blooded assassination in D.C. of two young employees of the Israeli embassy, and the president’s refusal to join in the whitewashing of the genocide in South Africa. Examination of the details of these events reveals beyond the possibility of doubt that the mainstream press here and abroad is guided by anti-truth, antisemitic, anti-white, and anti-Western civilization animus. The press deserves a harsh reckoning: ignore them, drive down circulation and views, expose their lies and agenda.

Press: Like Sergeant Schultz, They Saw Nothing, Knew Nothing

The announcement this week that former President Biden has late-stage prostate cancer revived last week’s claim by Jake Tapper and others that they were unaware of Biden’s obvious infirmities while he ran for president and served as the zombie head of the auto pen corps. Utter nonsense. We all saw it, and there are many videos of Tapper and other media figures telling us to ignore the evidence of our own eyes. In doing so, as I explain, they played into the hands of those like Congressman James Clyburn who wished to destroy us with leftist policies and personnel.

Dr. Randall Bock reveals the timeline of the scam to invest in the Oval Office a malleable blank slate.

In the lead-up to the 2020 South Carolina primary, James Clyburn’s endorsement of Joe Biden was a (necessary) masterstroke, rooted in Biden’s malleability and desperation. Clyburn saw Biden as a blank slate -- his name recognition from the Obama years made him electable, yet his lackluster campaign and advanced age (77) rendered him pliable to party insiders’ demands. Conversely Biden in his last hurrah and with his tremendous and unjustified ego needed Clyburn.

Clyburn leveraged Biden’s need for Black voter support to push for progressive policies. Biden’s age and perceived infirmity weren’t liabilities but assets, positioning him as an immediate, one-term lame-duck as well as empty vessel for a Trojan horse strategy: a Black VP -- ultimately Kamala Harris -- who could ascend to power if Biden’s health or mental acuity faltered, ensuring a de facto Black leader while maintaining a familiar, moderate face for the actual ticket.

post-South Carolina all the other candidates were paid off in material or promises and immediately dropped out. Super Tuesday was a dud. And this was not so much "deep state" as the perversely powerful strongest characteristic of the Democrats, coalescence for power over principal.

timeline:

February 26, 2020: Rep. James Clyburn endorses Joe Biden in South Carolina, three days before the state’s primary. He tells NBC he wants a running mate who can “excite the base,” hinting at a promised Black VP.

February 29, 2020: Biden wins the South Carolina primary decisively via Black voters, credits Clyburn’s endorsement.

March 1–3, 2020: Post-South Carolina momentum shifts to Biden. Everyone drops out, but Sanders, consolidating support around Biden.

The endgame was always to ease the incompetent and unlikeable Kamala Harris into the White House.

“So it seems the deep state took a career politician with dementia & cancer, staged a riot to certify his mathematically improbable election, arrested anyone who contested it, sanctioned an invasion, weaponized the courts, silenced speech, and turned the US into sodom & Gomorrah.”

Ignore the press’s make-believe mea culpa

“The press has decided to spend a couple months on what I'd call "circular self-rehabilitation through self-criticism." It's a modified log-rolling technique with fake confession & interrogation elements which will end w/ a Declaration of Purification & a round of self-applause.”

The South African Genocide and the Trump “Ambush”

Daniel Jupp has the best analysis of the press “airbrushing” the genocide against whites in South Africa. He makes hash of the claim that President Trump “ambushed” the president of South Africa with fake evidence of genocide when the latter sought a meeting to beg for funding, and the press claimed Trump was racist for granting refugee status to white South African farmers.

It’s of a piece with the demonization of Israelis and Jews, which is unsurprising if you’ve been sentient. He lifts the veil of sanctity the press placed over Nelson Mandela, who refused to ever rule out terrorism, “Murdering women and children, planting bombs, putting rubber tyres on people then setting them alight, was all OK if it was a black majority fighting a white minority.” There were innocent and decent whites who were never acknowledged or credited by the press, just as murderous and racist blacks were never called to account. The ANC was unable to govern, crime increased, and “politically connected black families… suddenly became very, very wealthy.” The incidence of rape of all South African women is “hideously” high.

It’s not only possible but certain that racism and hate can flow in any direction from any source, and it’s equally certain that the positions of victim and oppressor are not fixed for eternity but shift by circumstance and change.

South Africa today is not an example for the world. It has neither peace nor reconciliation. It has some of the most disgustingly casual attitudes to rape and extreme violence on the planet, and it is a living hell for the current white victims of racism there.

But western mainstream media would prefer to cling to their simplistic, idiotic fantasy of post apartheid success, because the idea that only whites are ever evil is dear to them, and innocent suffering families who are white, are not.

If someone shows you real footage of actual genocide and your reaction is “President Trump disgustingly ambushes the South African President” or if someone shows you a family with little kids fleeing murder and torture and property seizures, ready to join your nation and waving your nations flag, and your reaction is “they aren’t real refugees because they are white”, then you are the conspiracy theorist, you are the morally dead uncaring one, and you are the western media and the kind of thoughtless western citizen who believes the western media.

And maybe South Africa’s racial politics wasn’t quite as simple and clear cut as you thought it was.

The Press Lies Create a “Permission Structure” to Target Jews Everywhere

Sarah Milgram and Yaron Lischinsky were assassinated in cold blood outside the Jewish Museum in D.C. The admitted assassin, Elias Rodriguez, traveled with weapons from Chicago to D.C. with the intent to kill. That he was aided by others is not idle speculation on my part. He seems to have known when and where this event would take place and whom he wished to target. Reportedly, the FBI has searched his Chicago apartment and should be aware by now with whom he was in contact and their role, if any.

In media accounts, violent political acts are the hallmark of the Right. In fact, like BLM, Antifa, and the university rioters, Rodriguez was part of, coddled by, and supported by the Left.

The 30-year-old suspect in the slaying of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., was, until the middle of 2024, an employee of a left-wing nonprofit underwritten by some of the country’s largest philanthropic foundations that claims to be devoted to chronicling the lives of "historically significant Black Americans."

Elias Rodriguez, an anti-Israel radical and longtime left-wing activist, was arrested on Wednesday evening at Washington, D.C.’s Capital Jewish Museum shortly after shouting "Free Palestine!" and "I did it for Gaza!" Moments earlier, Israeli embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were gunned down at close range, witnesses told police.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Rodriguez worked as an oral history researcher from March 2023 to July 2024 at The HistoryMakers, a nonprofit that claims to be "committed to preserving and making widely accessible the untold personal stories of both well-known and unsung African Americans." [snip]

The HistoryMakers’s website warns that the "achievements of historically significant Black Americans are at risk of going unpreserved, as important figures die without documenting their stories for future generations."

Though touted in a 60 Minutes profile as a "nonpartisan, nonprofit organization," the group’s work suggests a left-wing political bent. Its digital archive of "first person video oral testimony," for example, includes a number of left-wing heroes but ignores America’s most famous black conservatives. Clarence Thomas, the second black Supreme Court justice, is omitted, but Anita Hill, who accused him of sexual harassment, is included. The renowned economist Thomas Sowell is omitted, but Al Sharpton is present. Its biography of Nation of Islam chief Louis Farrakhan omits any mention of his long history of anti-Semitism, noting instead that he’s "at times a controversial figure" who pushes a "message of a unified community."

The organization’s praise for noxious figures like Farrakhan hasn’t proved an impediment to its ability to raise money. The HistoryMakers is underwritten by left-wing philanthropies, including the Ford Foundation, which has provided at least $1 million to the nonprofit since 2024, $500,000 of which was awarded in March. The MacArthur Foundation has also provided the group nearly $1 million since 2003, including $500,000 last year. A partnership with PBS resulted in several hours of programming aired on the publicly funded network.

Rodriguez’s far-left activism began before he joined The HistoryMakers, and he appears to have started an X account pushing radical anti-Israel views while working for the group.

The account, "kyotoleather," shared a manifesto allegedly signed by Rodriguez soon before Wednesday evening’s shooting, touting "armed action" against the "perpetrators" of "genocide" as "highly legibile [sic]" and "the only sane thing to do." The account, which has posts dating back to Oct. 21, 2023, shared videos on X of assassinated Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and a post that said "Don’t Blame Me, I Voted For Hamas." It also includes posts such as "Death To Israel" and "De@th 2 Amerikkka."

Rodriguez was also a member of the Chicago chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), which regularly organizes anti-Israel protests and collaborates with anti-Israel student groups, including at Columbia University, though the PSL claims Rodriguez hasn’t been involved in over seven years.

PSL’s newspaper, Liberation, identified him as a member of the party while reporting on a speech he gave during a Black Lives Matter protest in 2017. "The wealth that Amazon has brought to Seattle has not been shared with its Black residents," Rodriguez said, according to the post, which was deleted Thursday morning. "[Amazon’s] whitening of Seattle is structurally racist and a direct danger to all workers who live in that city."

Melanie Phillips accurately places the blame on Rodriguez, but others also have blood on their hands:

It was inevitable that the pre-pogrom climate created by the “globalise the intifada” mobs in the streets and on campus over the past 19 months would result in murder. On Wednesday night, this became a sickening reality when two young Israel embassy staffers in Washington, DC were gunned down outside the Capital Jewish Museum by a man shouting, “I did it for Gaza!”

This is what “Free Palestine!” looks like.

The murderer pulled the trigger. But many others have the blood of these two innocents, reportedly soon to have become engaged, on their hands.

The university principals who have allowed hate mobs on campus to incite the murder of Jews and destruction of Israel, week in, week out; the politicians who have allowed the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and Iranian extremists to spread their influence throughout western civil society; the media and all those who relentlessly demonise Israel with blood libels and murderous lies, including the British, French and Canadian governments that this week threatened to punish Israel for defending itself -- these all bear responsibility for what happened in Washington.

This week, another falsehood about Israel’s war in Gaza was added to the relentless incitement against the Jewish state. This one came from the UN’s emergency co-ordinator, Tom Fletcher, who told the BBC that “14,000 babies will die in 48 hours” from malnutrition.

A moment’s thought would suggest that such a synchronised mass mortality event was simply incredible.

The media, however, parroted it as valid. It duly spread like wildfire. Countless Israel-haters leapt upon it to validate their loathing. In a poisonous debate about Gaza in Britain’s House of Commons, members of parliament referred to it no fewer than 13 times.

It soon turned out, however, that it was indeed nonsense. As the BBC later clarified, Fletcher had misrepresented a claim made on May 12 by the UN’s IPC food classification system -- a claim that was itself highly questionable -- that an estimated 14,100 severe cases of acute malnutrition were expected to occur among Gazan children aged between 6 and 59 months from April 2025 to March 2026.

So two days actually turned out to be one year, and 14,000 certain deaths turned out to be 14,000 possible cases of malnutrition.

[snip]

What we do know is that the United Nations and the entire global humanitarian establishment constitute a bubbling sewer of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish hatred.

False claims of imminent famine and starvation in Gaza have been made on a regular basis since the very start of the war. It’s an emotive blood libel that has incited murderous hysteria of the kind that led to the gunning down of the young couple on Wednesday night.

The famine and starvation never materialised. Instead, video footage has regularly been shown on social media showing Gaza’s markets and shops groaning with food.

[snip]

Some of this hunger is indeed real. But it’s been caused not by a dearth of food entering Gaza but by Hamas stealing it for themselves or selling it on the black market at prices the Gazans can’t afford.

The global humanitarian establishment, however, speaks with one voice to tell the world that Israel is wantonly killing children and causing the Gazans to starve. People assume that the humanitarian establishment is inspired by the most pure and elevated motives of compassion and justice. So they believe absolutely every statement it makes about famine, starvation and the cruelty of Israel.

On this issue, however, the humanitarian establishment is the voice of bigoted hatred. It subjects Israel to a campaign of demonisation and delegitimisation that it inflicts upon no other people, country or group anywhere else in the world.

The United Nations is the world’s principal engine of these falsehoods and distortions. It routinely pumps out Hamas statistics that turn out to have no basis in reality; it both draws upon and feeds in turn the malevolent untruths issued by bodies such as the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice and the big NGOs like Amnesty and Human Rights Watch.

The consequences of this behaviour go far beyond harming the State of Israel to put every Jew at risk and to trap the West inside a sinister mindset that undermines civilisation itself.

Institutions created to make sure atrocities like the Holocaust never happen again have been captured by leftists and Islamists to do everything to make it happen again. The indigenous people of Israel -- the Jews -- are targeted as “colonizers,” and the victims, the Israelis, are painted as the oppressors. In a brilliant essay Phillips shows how we’ve gone through a looking glass where “for the Western liberal antisemitism has become a moral obligation.” Read it all.

Bari Weiss also weighs in on how the “venomous, untrue statements about Israel and its supporters have created a “‘permission structure’ for violence against jews in America.”

As if on cue, the leftists at Columbia University praise Rodriguez.

Calm Down, Conservatives

Many of my fellow America First conservatives need to take a chill pill and calm the hell down. I get the frustration. I get the irritation. We’ve waited decades for justice. We’ve waited decades to use the power granted to us by the American people to reshape this country back into something like it was rather than the gross, formless blob of neo-commie failure it has become. But this Gramscian Rome wasn’t built in a day, and we’re not going to burn it down overnight, no matter how hard we fiddle. Start taking “Yes” for an answer, conservatives.

Let’s take some of the more common gripes, starting with the complaint that our Congress hasn’t passed anything. But, of course, Congress has passed several things. It passed the Laken Riley Act to keep Third World savages who are illegally here locked up. It just overturned the ridiculous California “no gas engines” law. So, the objection is not that the Republicans haven’t passed anything. It’s that the Republicans haven’t passed enough.

But there’s a structural fact that frustrated conservatives refuse to admit exists. This is why most of our actions must be taken via executive orders. Because of the Senate filibuster, we have to get 60 votes, but we have only 53 Senators. All the Democrats hang together, breaking the neck of our legislation.

What is so amazingly difficult to understand about this? Do people not know what the filibuster is? Do they not care? Look, I get the anger. I’ve been a conservative longer than many of you people have been alive. I was a conservative in the 80s, faithfully reading America’s only right-wing outlet, National Review, before it became the Teen Vogue of conservatism. All the stuff we are trying to do today is stuff that we’ve been dreaming about for decades. But we’ve been lied to, spat upon, disregarded, persecuted, and generally treated like crap not only by the Democrats but our own Republican Party for as long as I can remember. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – the Republican base is the abused spouse of American politics. We are naturally suspicious and looking for any reason to validate our gut instinct that we are about to get screwed over yet again.

That’s why we act like we do, but let’s not pretend it’s always rational. The fact of the filibuster is not an excuse for inaction; it’s the reason for it. Gravity is not an excuse why you can’t jump 50 feet high. The filibuster is a structural reality that we have to work around – unless we make the major decision to get rid of it. If you want to do that, make that argument. But don’t whine because Congress is not doing something it literally cannot do.

Yes, I know a lot of this is just emotional catharsis. I know it makes some of us feel better to complain incessantly about the failures of our Republican Party, and it doesn’t help that the Republican Party has given us sufficient material to complain incessantly for days without repeating ourselves. But that doesn’t change reality.

We should celebrate the Big Beautiful Bill, which can pass because of arcane Senate rules that get around the filibuster. But no. Cue the handwringing. Yes, it spends too much. Yes, it fails to cut many things that richly deserve cutting. No, it doesn’t include a bunch of things we want. Yes, it includes many things we don’t want, like the SALT increase. But you know what? It’s a compromise bill. With only a four- or five-vote majority in the House, all those blue-state Republicans have outsized leverage. You don’t have to like it, but you do have to recognize reality. They’ve got the power, and they’re using it to do what they think is best for their district and their reelection chances. This is called politics. That’s how it works. The idea that every politician must be a disinterested, economically rational person who happens to agree with every policy choice we prefer is silly. We can’t create a majority out of a minority. It’s better to have this bill passed than not to pass it, so we should pass it through the Senate if those chuckleheads can get their egos in check and get it done.

And then there’s the court. Liberal court judges are breaking the rules to keep Trump from governing. What are we doing about it? We are going through the appellate system and getting them overturned. Almost all of them will be. Is it frustrating? Yes. Shouldn’t we just ignore the court? Not if we want to avoid an entirely different fight that we might not win. We’re going to win doing what we’re doing. We should keep doing that.

And here’s another gripe. What did we want from the investigations of some of the key scandals of the last decade? We wanted to know the truth about Epstein, for example. We got good people to look at the evidence from the inside. I don’t know Kash Patel (people who say he’s squared away), but I do know Dan Bongino and trust him implicitly. These guys had a lot of credibility with our movement. Well, they looked at the facts about Epstein, and they’ve determined that he did kill himself, but some of us apparently didn’t get the answer we wanted.

I was under the impression that we wanted the truth. The whole thing about Epstein was exceedingly sketchy. Obviously, the Deep State has no default to our trust. But, when a guy like Dan Bongino takes a look at the relevant materials and tells us that there was no murder – it’s not unreasonable that a guy like him might not want to spend the rest of his miserable existence in an 8’ x 10’ concrete box – it’s weird to see people disappointed. We were looking for the truth, correct? What if the truth is this perv killed himself, aided by the entirely routine incompetence of government employees who failed to do their job, just like millions of other government employees fail to do their job every single day?

So, now Dan Bongino is “compromised?” Now, he’s a tool of the Deep State? Dan Bongino? Come on. There are only three real options. You could believe that somehow, he allowed himself to be corrupted. That’s ridiculous. You could believe the Deep State fooled him, but he is no amateur. The guy was a federal law enforcement officer and presumably knows what to look for. The final option is that he examined the relevant evidence and came to the conclusion that Epstein did kill himself. But the reaction of some people is disappointment, as if they wanted that perverted degenerate to have been killed within the web of some giant conspiracy. Of course, being familiar with and distinctly unimpressed by the kind of unaccomplished people who tend to control institutions, I tend not to believe in conspiracies because the alleged conspirators aren’t smart enough to pull them off.

In any case, it’s baffling that we would send one of our most trusted surrogates to wade into the swamp to find the truth and then get mad at him when the truth isn’t what we thought it was. I thought we wanted the truth, but some people want validation of what they already decided is true. Now, I think everything should be released, including any video of that creep offing himself.  We also need to see the non-perverted videos the FBI seized, as well as a full and complete list of his grody associates. But Dan Bongino has earned the benefit of the doubt through years of loyal service to the movement. It’s pretty crappy to start making accusations about him because the answers he has found are not the answers some people want.

Finally, there are complaints about prosecutions. I was a lawyer for 30 years. This stuff takes time. You want to do it once, and you want to do it right. Many people require accountability. In reality, we’re not going to be able to hold all of them to account. We don’t have the resources or the bandwidth; that’s another unpleasant reality we must accept. But for those we are going to hold to account, it takes time.

Trump’s been president for about four months. He’s got four years. I think Donald Trump has earned our trust over the last decade. I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt that what needs to get done is going to get done, even if it’s not right away.

That’s the bottom line. Do we trust Trump and our movement? Are we ready to accept that we’re not going to get everything we necessarily want? Are we prepared for answers that don’t fit our preconceived notions?

Johnny Rotten Lydon observed that anger is an energy, but we can’t only run on anger. We must be ruthless. We must be cold. And for heaven’s sake, we must calm down.

Matt Gaetz Interviews Ed Martin on Current Status of Weaponization Review

Former congressman Matt Gaetz interviews the current head of the Government Weaponization Review working group, Ed ‘Columbo’ Martin.

Ed Martin discusses his current perspective of the “autopen” issues that surround the recent revelations of Joe Biden’s mental incapacity, as well as other events under review by the Weaponization Working Group.  WATCH:

Trump Admin Sends Team to Investigate Free Speech Violations in Britain

Sarah Arnold reporting for Townhall

The Trump administration is expanding its defense of free speech globally, raising concerns about growing censorship in allied nations, such as the United Kingdom. According to reports, the administration deployed a group to meet with victims of Britain’s speech restrictions.

Recently, the Trump administration dispatched a team of five State Department diplomats to engage with pro-life activists in the UK who were arrested for quietly praying outside abortion clinics. The Trump White House has openly criticized the United Kingdom for its strict speech regulations. This issue is reportedly becoming a key topic in trade talks between the U.S. and the UK. Britain has also faced backlash for proposing fines against American social media companies that don’t adequately monitor content on their platforms.

In addition, in March, diplomats from the US Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) visited London to emphasize the significance of protecting freedom of expression both in the UK and throughout Europe. Senior advisor in the state department, Samuel Samson, met with officials from the Foreign Office and challenged Ofcom regarding the Online Safety Act.

This follows a diplomatic clash in March when Vice President J.D. Vance challenged British Prime Minister Keir Starmer over the UK’s increasing restrictions on free speech. The Trump administration has warned that if these actions persist, particularly when they impact Americans or American businesses overseas, they are ready to take action.

Vance warned that free speech is under threat in the U.K. and across Europe, specifically pointing to the erosion of conscience and religious rights in Britain. He expressed concern that religious Britons are increasingly being targeted as fundamental liberties decline.

In February, during a meeting with Trump at the White House, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer pushed back on claims that his country is restricting free speech. He stated that free speech has been a longstanding principle in the United Kingdom and expressed confidence that it will remain a vital part of the country's future.

However, a recent report from The Times of London reveals that British police are making over 30 arrests each day for allegedly offensive remarks made online or through other channels, adding up to roughly 12,000 arrests annually.

“US-UK relations share a mutual respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. However, as Vice President Vance has said, we are concerned about freedom of expression in the UK," a state department spokesman said. “It is important that the UK respects and protects freedom of expression.”

Trump Delays 50% EU Tariffs to July 9 After Productive Call with Ursula von der Leyen

Sarah Arnold reporting for Townhall

President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he would delay the 50 percent tariff on European Union goods, pushing the deadline back to July 9 after a productive phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Trump emphasized that while the EU has shown some willingness to address unfair trade practices, there’s still work to be done. This delay gives the EU extra time to prove it’s serious about negotiating a fair deal, but Trump made it clear that if progress isn’t made, the tariffs will move forward as planned.

“I agreed to the extension — July 9, 2025 — It was my privilege to do so," Trump wrote in a Sunday Truth Social post. "The Commission President said that talks will begin rapidly. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

While speaking to reporters at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, Trump said von der Leyen called him, requesting an extension on the June 1 tariff hike. The president said she was is ready for a "serious negotiation.”

“July 9th was the date she requested. … And I agreed to do that," Trump said. "[von der Leyen] said we will rapidly get together and see if we can work something out.”

Von der Leyen described the conversation with Trump as “good” and expressed her readiness to move negotiations forward quickly.

“The EU and US share the world’s most consequential and close trade relationship,” von der Leyen wrote on X. “Europe is ready to advance talks swiftly and decisively. To reach a good deal, we would need the time until July 9.”

On Friday, Trump said he was “not looking for a deal” with the EU. Still, just moments after speaking to reporters on the tarmac before heading to Washington, DC, the president wrote on social media that “talks will begin rapidly.”

“Their powerful Trade Barriers, Vat Taxes, ridiculous Corporate Penalties, Non-Monetary Trade Barriers, Monetary Manipulations, unfair and unjustified lawsuits against Americans Companies, and more, have led to a trade deficit with the U.S. of more than $250,000,000 a year, a number which is totally unacceptable," Trump said. "…Therefore, I am recommending a straight 50% Tariff on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025."

If the EU’s 50 percent tariff had taken effect, it would have followed Trump’s imposition of a 20 percent reciprocal tariff on the EU in April.

Antifa Thugs Storm Christian Rally – Guess Who the Mayor Blamed for the Violence

Jeff Charles reporting for Townhall

Seattle police officers arrested 23 Antifa operatives on Saturday after they physically assaulted people attending a Christian rally in a park.

The incident occurred at Cal Anderson Park when violent leftists showed up to demonstrate against the MayDay USA Tour. The organization is a grassroots faith-based initiative that advocates against abortion and gender ideology.

The group has been holding events in major cities across the United States. “As millions of babies are aborted every year, hundreds of thousands of children are trafficked, and the nations of the earth are in crisis—we can no longer sit silent and remain quiet,” said founders Jenny Donnelly and Ross Johnston.

The Seattle event featured a number of speakers and praise and worship. The violence began shortly after Johnston took the state, according to WCAX

Anitfa organizers claimed their objective was to counter the “well-funded anti-trans, anti-queer event that is led by far-fight Christian activists,” the Seattle Times reported.

Video footage circulating on social media shows Seattle police working to apprehend those who physically assaulted the rally’s attendees.

Naturally, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell blamed the Christians for the violence. In a statement, the mayor wrote, ““Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice.”

He further stated that “Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”

“When the humanity of trans people and those who have been historically marginalized is questioned, we triumph by demonstrating our values through our words and peaceful protest – we lose our voice when this is disrupted by violence, chaos, and confusion.

“Anarchists infiltrated the counter-protestors group and inspired violence, prompting SPD to make arrests and ask organizers to shut down the event early, which they did.

“While there are broad First Amendment requirements around permitting events under free speech protections, I am directing the Parks Department to review all of the circumstances of this application to understand whether there were legal location alternatives or other adjustments that could have been pursued. The Police Department will complete an after-action report of this event, including understanding preparation, crowd management tactics, and review of arrests and citations.

While the police arrested left-wing agitators, it appears the mayor plans to try looking for ways he can target Christians who showed up at the rally, which is par for the course for a left-wing city like Seattle.

Must-Watch: Shock and Awe As Nearly Every Type of Fighter Jet and Bomber We Have Flies Over Miami Beach

Bob Hoge reporting for RedState

If you love this country, sometimes you just want to say, “’Merica!"

Spectacular footage from the “Freedom Flyover” in Miami Beach Saturday will evoke exactly that reaction from plenty of folks. Nearly every fighter jet and bomber that we have was showcased in the event, and the videos bring you the sheer might of our air power.

It was a Memorial Day tribute like no other:

Seven of the top military aircraft, called the “Freedom Flyover,” united as “one unstoppable force” for thousands of people to take in over Memorial Day weekend at the Hyundai Air and Sea Show in Miami Beach.

The historic formation was led by the B-2 stealth bomber and followed by the B-1B Lancer, B-52H Stratofortress, F-22 Raptor, F-15C Eagle, F-16C Fighting Falcon and the attack aircraft A-10 Thunderbolt II, according to Air Force Global Strike Command.

Watch:

Only a few pieces of our hardware were not featured:

The only bomber missing was B-21 Raider, while the lone absent fighter jet was the F-35A Lightning II. The AC-130J Ghostrider gunship was also not included.

The AFGSC also gave a shout-out to other members of the military:

Additionally, this formation also showcased the strength of total force Airmen; active duty, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard pilots all had a part in the flyover, representing the Air Force’s ability to collaborate across components.

There were some firsts on the day:

While other air shows have featured a tri-bomber flyover, this was the first time fighter aircraft were also part of the formation, according to military officials.

“This wasn’t just an air show – it was a powerful tribute to those who gave everything and a celebration of the strength that defends our nation every single day!” the AFGSC wrote in a social media post.

Want more video? Me too. Here we go—just another day at the beach:

If you live within driving distance of Miami Beach, hop in your car—because they will be flying the same formation Monday

On this Memorial Day weekend, we honor all the fallen who have sacrificed for our country. This amazing show of our military’s capabilities reminds us that there are enemies of freedom out there, and if and when the time comes, they must be defeated.

I’m putting my money on ‘Merica.
