Democrats Insist On Destroying Themselves. Let Them.

Sometimes you can spot a disaster happening from across the room, and despite your instinct to help prevent it, you can’t and it happens – a tray of food falls to the floor, someone trips, or someone is caught trying to get away with something. Whatever it is, by the time what happens unfolds and registers in your head it is over, even though its unfolding seemed in slow motion, like a car crash. When it comes to the slow motion collapse of the Democratic Party…just sit back and enjoy the show.

Imagine losing an election in large part because of the radical fringe of your party, then embracing those people as the way forward afterwards. Doubling down on crazy is, well, crazy, right?

It is. Yet, that is what the Democrats are doing.

News broke over the weekend that David Hogg, the anti-Second Amendment activist, was elected Vice-Chair of the Democratic National Committee. He’d been endorsed by Eric Swalwell, the gassy ignoramus from California known for having fallen for Chinese Communist “honey pot” on his ascension to Congress.

Hogg had previously publicly declared, “Abolish ICE,” “Defund the police not USPS,” “The NRA needs to be designated a terrorist organization for the role their supporters played in staging and insurrectionist coup,” and “Unlike Covid there is no vaccine for climate change once we start feeling the impacts we can just implement and survive. There is only one solution- prevention.”

He's AOC with less muscle mass.

Hogg also insisted, “You have no right to a gun. You are not a militia. When you're talking about your second amendment rights you're talking about a states right to have what is today the national guard. The modern interpretation of 2A is a ridiculous fraud pushed for decades by the gun lobby.”

Then, as if some sort of plant by the GOP to torpedo the DNC from within, Hogg admitted, “Like I'm already one of the most politically toxic people in the country. Any politician doing anything with me is in effect committing political suicide. You really are barking up the wrong tree if you think I'll ever have enough power to impact anything.”

If I’d been able to appoint someone to a leadership post for Democrats, I’m not sure I wouldn’t have picked David Hogg. He brings in no one new while driving people away every time he opens his mouth. The only way he could be more out-of-touch with average Americans if he wrapped his head in an Arafat doily and chanted about how Israel and the United States need to be wiped from the Earth. You know, like your typical college leftist.

While elevating someone without a kind word to say about the country, Democrats are also attacking the most success man on the planet: Elon Musk.

Formerly a hero to the left for his work in single-handedly making the electric car viable and desirable, he’s now a monster for simply embracing the concept of free speech for all. They call him “President Musk” in an attempt to drive a wedge between him and President Trump, while doing all they can to belittle the idea of fighting government waste.

Naturally, they are the authors of much of that waste, so it would make sense they’d do all they can to distract from its discovery, but it will be discovered. There is no distraction large enough to cause people to forget how their money (more accurately, their credit because their money is long since gone) is being wasted. Scroll through the X feed for the Department of Government Efficiency and you’ll see it reads like the first credit card statement of a drunken college freshman discovering what “maxed out” really means.

Which do you think appeals most to the American people, a scolding wokester seeking to use government power against his fellow Americans or the most consequential American since Thomas Edison who has accomplished more than many countries have? My money is on Musk.

Democrats can’t help themselves. It’s not that they embrace destruction, it’s that they are destruction and aren’t aware of it. Fish don’t know they’re wet, after all.

So, sit back and enjoy the show. You can’t stop it, nor should you try. They deserve it, after all.

MAGA Is Now America’s Political Mainstream

In 2024, President Trump and the Republican Party achieved a significant win, largely because the American public viewed the MAGA/GOP as representing the political center, while perceiving the Democrats’ ideas as more disconnected from mainstream views.

Trump and the GOP promised the voters that, if elected, they would enact policies to secure the nation’s borders, reduce inflation, control government spending, ensure affordable and abundant energy, make the “American Dream” accessible to everyone, safeguard fair and honest elections, defend parental rights, and protect free speech.

The MAGA centrist policy goals resonated with Americans.  Trump won the Electoral College by a robust 312-226 margin, won the popular vote handily, and swept all seven battleground states.  Over the last three presidential election cycles, Trump has moved Ohio and Florida from swing state status to Republican locks.

Newsweek reports that the results of the 2024 election results suggest that five states once reliably Democratic — New Jersey, Virginia, New Mexico, Minnesota, and New Hampshire — now can be regarded as swing states.

The Republicans’ share of most demographic groups increased from 2020.  CNN exit polling showed growing support for Trump and GOP candidates among male Latinos, people under 30, moderates, those in rural areas, and younger and new voters.  A recent poll showed Trump garnering a 69% approval rating among blacks.

One key indicator of electoral strength, party identification, signals a core realignment around the MAGA agenda.  Polls show that for the first time since the 1928 election, more voters identified as Republicans than Democrats.

As the GOP becomes more centrist, the Democrat party has allowed its progressive faction to pull the party farther to the left.

Over the past four years, Democrats have driven up the national debt and sparked sky-high inflation through profligate government spending, especially on “green”  projects; sought out global conflicts that could lead to a nuclear war; used the federal government to restrict free speech and shut down entire state economies; defied traditional concepts  of human sexuality; and endorsed school curricula that depict America as a fundamentally racist nation in need of radical change.

No wonder a new CNN poll revealed that the Democrat party has reached its lowest approval rating in the last 30 years.

More moderate voices within the party, including James Carville, Bill Clinton, former Hillary adviser Philippe Reines, and liberal figures like Bill Maher are urging the party to shift to the center.  This strategy, which helped the Democrats recover from political obscurity starting in the late 1990s, was key to Bill Clinton’s election successes.

However, the Democrat party’s progressive wing rejects the idea that the party’s electoral losses stem from its embrace of extreme positions.  Instead, party influencers argue that the Democrats merely failed to effectively “message” their left-leaning platform.

Even if the Democrat party tries to rebrand itself by publicly endorsing pro-worker and Trump-lite economic policies, its efforts will be undermined by the actions of the party’s radical state and local leaders.

Democrats who run state and local governments will continue to tolerate lawless behavior and enact policies such as cashless bail that encourage crime on the streets, in the subways, and in the homes of city inhabitants.

California is set to implement stricter climate change policies that will limit resource use, ban fossil fuel development on state lands, and push residents into electric vehicles they may not want or even encourage them to swap their cars for bicycles.

And when their DIE and environmental policies create the conditions for tragedies of almost biblical proportions, such as the fires that are destroying parts of Los Angeles, to continue unabated, Democrat governors, mayors, and fire chiefs blame not their woke policies, but “climate change.”

Illinois and other states will push back against MAGA’s popular efforts to deport illegal criminal migrants, even going so far as to shield violent gang members from deportation.

Michigan could become a prime example of what voting for Democrats delivers.  Under Gov. Whitmer and a Democrat-controlled state government, Michigan became the only state in recent years to raise income tax rates.  The state’s Democrats’ “Green New Deal” policies have reportedly burdened residents with $200 billion in higher energy costs, all while service continues to deteriorate.

From now up to the 2026 midterm elections and beyond, Trump and his media influencers will relentlessly spotlight these unpopular Democrat policies on platforms like X, Truth Social, the Real America’s Voice network, and administration-friendly cable channels.  Immigration czar Tom Homan will ensure that the public understands that keeping Democrats in power means keeping illegal aliens in the United States.

An indication that the MAGA-dominated Republican Party is seen as representing the political mainstream is the flood of goodwill toward Trump, expressed through visits to Mar-a-Lago and congratulatory phone calls from politicians and global business leaders.  In the past two months, tech moguls and political powerhouses, including Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, have paid visits to Trump at his Florida estate.

One might wonder why a man who will be president for only four years commands such loyalty from the world’s elite.  One could logically conclude that the elites recognize that they must make peace not only with President Trump, but also with a movement they believe has emerged as the new political center, one that could shape national politics for years to come.

Recent congressional races suggest as much.  In the 2022 midterms, two years before Trump’s stunning victorythe Republican Party won the national popular vote by three million and managed to grab control of the House.  In 2024, Republican candidates garnered a total of 74.8 million votes, the Democrats 70.8 million, a four-million-vote margin.

Democrats should be wary of the political ramifications of these numbers.

They should also take note of polls that portend a MAGA-GOP supermajority.  One such survey conducted a few years ago by Harvard/Harris found that a vast majority of Americans agreed with the values espoused MAGA and then-president Trump,

According to the poll results, 60 to 75% of the American people agreed with America First/MAGA values like controlling our country’s borders, restricting immigration, and strictly limiting foreign intervention.  A recent TIPP poll revealed an overwhelming support for Trump’s fossil fuel–driven energy policy.  Rasmussen polls show that Americans favor mass deportation of criminal aliens.

These poll numbers indicate a nascent MAGA supermajority that has yet to show up in voting behavior.  Although the MAGA GOP base is currently roughly half the country, the potential MAGA support numbers are daunting.

Does President Trump sense the existence of such a supermajority?  A few months ago, Trump on the campaign stump had a curious response to Biden labeling Trump supporters as “garbage” in a campaign speech for Kamala Harris.

Trump retorted, “I have to begin by saying 250 million Americans are not garbage.”  This is an odd number to pull out of a hat at a campaign speech, but as pundits have learned, Trump’s supposedly offhand comments are often scripted, a subtle form of messaging with more than a modicum of truth at its core.

The 250 million number would align roughly with the 65–75% of poll respondents who voice agreement with many America First principles.

Currently, congressional Republicans hold a solid 51-44% lead over Democrats as we approach the 2026 midterm elections.  New voter registrations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are overwhelmingly Republican, marking an unprecedented level of popularity for the party.  Much of this surge can be credited to the appeal of the MAGA movement.

Even Mitt Romney, hardly a Trump/MAGA-supporter, admitted in a national TV interview that the Republican party is now the party of MAGA.

“The Republican Party has become the party of the working-class, middle-class voter,” said the Utah senator.  He attributes this shift to Trump, who has drawn these groups away from the Democrats.  However, it’s not just the economy driving this political transformation; there’s also a social divide.  According to Senator Romney, Americans now view the Democrats as a party of “college professors and woke ‘scolds.’”

And he didn’t just connect this movement’s success to Donald Trump.  “If you ask me who will be the candidate of the Republican party in 2028, I would say J.D. Vance,” Romney said.  “Smart.  Well spoken.  Part of the MAGA movement.”

Clearly, to retain their growing base, the Republican party must continue championing the commonsense values of reducing inflation, securing the nation’s borders, limiting foreign military adventurism, and maintaining safety on the streets.

To reinforce that notion, Donald J. Trump in his inaugural address called for  a “revolution of common sense.”

Of course, ideology alone isn’t sufficient.  The Trump administration must primarily focus on maintaining a strong, if not thriving, economy while fulfilling its promises to secure the border, deport criminal aliens, and lower prices.

Accomplishing that mission will help Republicans  keep the House and Senate in 2026 and Vance to win in 2028.  Two terms of J.D. Vance will solidify the centrist America First principles as the solid core of the American political culture.

With MAGA ascending, Democrats will have to eschew radical progressivism and adopt a MAGA-lite program to survive as a viable opposition party.  When that happens, the transformation of the nation’s underlying political value system will be complete.

Dear Dems, We're Just Better Than You

Don’t look now, but the Trump administration has done more to curb waste, secure the border, and get the ship of state on the right course in the past two weeks than Joe Biden had ever done in four years. The slew of executive orders to get the government back on track, trim the fat, excise the cancers, and bring back overall common sense and sanity has been refreshing. Yet, the best news to date is the outcome of this trade war with Canada and Mexico.

We won. The tariffs were issued, counter-tariffs were hurled back, and Trump took the victory lap in 36 hours. Canada’s eunuch prime minister, Justin Trudeau, beat his chest as if he were a top dog, and then he took a call with Trump. Liberal America is contending with a familiar cycle: whine about a Trump policy, hope it hurts his supporters, try to cast a narrative to chaos under Trump, and then only to have the president emerge totally victorious within hours. Unlike Biden, Trump moves fast and with purpose.

On his flanks, the Department of Government Efficiency, helmed by Elon Musk and his allies, has taken a katana to the waste and insanity that's infested the capital. They’re putting useless government workers on leave, gaining access to their systems, nixing leases for government offices that should have ended eons ego, and preparing to expose the levels of corruption and incompetence taxpayers have been subsidizing. The Department of Education is next to suffer a haircut.

Most federal law enforcement agencies have deportation powers on immigration. Soon, local law enforcement, contingent on the agreement signed with the Department of Homeland Security, will have the same powers. Most states, red states, will sign onto this measure so the deportation force will be a massive federal-state patchwork from which illegal aliens can no longer hide; we’re already rounding up thousands of them.

Promises were made, and thus far, they’re being kept. Democrats are shell-shocked seeing a government in action, securing the border, protecting communities, and no longer propping up these third-world s**thole countries. The outrage is blessedly contained to the DC suburbs. Outside of it, no one cares that government workers have anxiety about this, that, or the other. These coddled workers can either come back to the office or quit. It’s that simple, and all their concerns are things working people have endured for generations. No one cares, folks.

As of now, we’re just better than the Democrats. We have better people, better policies, and better messaging. The left is adrift and rudderless, incapable of cobbling together a message that can animate the left-wing base. This issue arises when your public policy positions are garbage. There’s a reason why Trump and the GOP are a multiracial working-class party and the Democrats are not. Our people are better than the overwhelmingly left-wing, white, wealthy, and overly educated psychopaths that dominate the Democratic Party. There’s also not enough of them to win a national election, and their ethos and demeanor are decidedly unwelcoming, illiberal, and insane.

Eventually, Democrats will get their act together. But, for now, take a victory lap.

Enjoy the moment.

Tulsi Gabbard Gets 'Huge' News Ahead of Committee Vote

Sister Toldjah reporting for RedState

In the aftermath of former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's confirmation hearing last Thursday, there were doubts expressed over whether she'd be able to win enough support from the nine Republicans on the Senate Intelligence Committee to advance her nomination for Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to a full floor vote.

Despite a strong showing during the hearing in the face of nasty treatment from several Democrats on the committee, some GOP Senators reportedly were conflicted about, among other things, a trip to Syria she took in 2017 and her refusal to refer to former NSA intelligence contractor/whistleblower/leaker Edward Snowden as a "traitor."

Though he is not on the committee, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) - a Gabbard supporter - indicated during a Fox News interview after the hearing that he was "worried by what I hear from some of my Republican colleagues. I’m worried that her nomination may be in jeopardy."

Tulsi Nukes Mark Kelly Over Russia Claims in Heated Hearing

On Monday, Gabbard got some good news on that front, with moderate Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) indicating she has her full support for the ODNI position - not just on voting her out of committee, but for the full Senate vote as well:

“After extensive consideration of her nomination, I will support Tulsi Gabbard to be the Director of National Intelligence. As one of the principal authors of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 that established this coordinating position, I understand the critical role the DNI plays in the Intelligence Community. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, however, has become far larger than it was designed to be, and Ms. Gabbard shares my vision of returning the agency to its intended size. In response to my questions during our discussion in my office and at the open hearing, as well as through her explanation at the closed hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Ms. Gabbard addressed my concerns regarding her views on Edward Snowden. I look forward to working with Ms. Gabbard to strengthen our national security.”

Now that Collins has made her position clear, the focus is on how two other Senate Intelligence Committee Republicans will vote, including Todd Young (R-IN) :

With Collins in the “aye” column, all attention shifts to Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.), who has been considered the other GOP swing vote on the panel.

Young pressed Gabbard during her confirmation hearing about whether she thought Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor-turned-leaker, is a traitor — and was visibly frustrated with Gabbard’s answers.

President Trump ally Elon Musk attacked Young in a post on social platform X over weekend as a “deep state puppet.” He deleted the post following a conversation with the Indiana Republican and spoke glowingly about him.

Young was asked Monday if he'd come to a decision on his committee vote, but he remained mum and said everyone would have to wait until Tuesday:

Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), who offended Gabbard during the hearing when he asked her if Russia would get "a pass in either your mind or your heart," has also expressed reservations about Gabbard but has not revealed how he will vote on Tuesday. He did say Thursday that she had answered questions "to my satisfaction," a possible indicator that he'll be an "aye."

Sen John Cornyn (R-TX), who seemingly was on the fence at one point, indicated Thursday he'd vote for Gabbard.

In an op-ed published in Newsweek Sunday, Gabbard laid out her case for why she should be the DNI and noted what her "four day one priorities" would be:

First, to assess the global threat environment and identify where gaps in our intelligence exist, integrating intelligence elements, increasing information-sharing, and ensuring unbiased, apolitical, objective collection and analysis is provided to support President Trump and policymakers' decision-making.

Second, I will deliver on President Trump's commitment to the American people to end the politicization of the IC and provide focus to the IC's essential mission, which is securing our nation.

Third, I will rebuild trust in the intelligence community through transparency and accountability.

Finally, I will assess and address efficiency, redundancy, and effectiveness across ODNI.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is expected to hold the vote behind closed doors at 2 pm ET Tuesday. As always, we'll keep you posted.

Trump Becomes First Fascist In History To Reduce Size Of Government

Trump Becomes First Fascist In History

 To Reduce Size Of Government

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump has just become the first fascist in the history of humankind to use his despotic powers to reduce the size of the government.

While most other fascist leaders throughout history have used their power to increase the scope of government influence in their respective countries, Trump has broken with tradition to become the very first fascist with a focus on dismantling his own government's overreaches.

"Only time will tell, but Trump must have something extremely nefarious up his sleeve if he's doing his fascism by making government smaller," said Lee Glyde-Jennings, who teaches several classes on the history of fascism at Harvard. "It's entirely unlike every other fascism in history to this point — I'm just waiting to see how he's going to wind up instituting a fascist dictatorship by carefully picking apart the government bureaucracy."

"You know who else laid gave and was a fascist?" said Martyn Rogers, a Yale professor. "Hitler. Hitler was a fascist who had to give up his power at the end of World War II. Be afraid of Trump. Be very afraid."

At publishing time, several Democrats had also warned that Trump would soon start World War III by making peace with other nations.

US Should Stop Being One Of Only Two First-World Countries That Allows Anchor Babies

America is an outlier among developed nations in offering unrestricted birthright citizenship.
Not a single European country does.

By any reasonable measure, unrestricted birthright citizenship, the practice of giving citizenship to almost anyone born in America, is an irrational policy. It abdicates the composition of the nation’s citizenry to chance, instead of bringing it within our control. It communicates a deep unseriousness about our sovereignty and national security to the rest of the world. Without it, we can continue to open our country to foreign talent and victims of genocide or state violence. Together, the president and Congress can choose to narrow or widen the pipeline of legal immigrants.

In 2025, America is an outlier among developed nations in offering unrestricted birthright citizenship. Corporate media outlets will remind you that we aren’t alone, that around 30 other countries do the same. But what they usually don’t report is that those countries are the likes of Grenada, Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tobago, and Barbados. Not a single European country follows our lead. Nor do Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and the list goes on. Only one country in the world with a per-capita GDP anywhere near the United States’ matches our policy — Canada. And Canada historically hasn’t had much to worry about on the illegal immigration front, because their only land border is shared with us.

More than that, the global trend is consonant with President Donald Trump’s recent executive order ending unrestricted birthright citizenship. The United Kingdom, which had birthright citizenship dating back to the “ancient common law,” did away with it in the 1980s. Ireland got rid of it in 2005. New Zealand a year later. Germany, which tried to grab the mantle of “leader of the free world” during President Trump’s first term, doesnt grant citizenship to a child of foreign parents unless one parent possesses a permanent right of residence and has legally resided in the country for at least eight years.

But somehow President Trump is “cruel” for calling for the end of unrestricted birthright citizenship in our own nation?  Why would a nation affirmatively choose to create an incentive for illegal immigration and prioritize illegal immigrants’ children over law-abiding immigrants who apply for citizenship and follow the legal process? If it were a one-for-one trade, would you rather bestow citizenship on someone we as a nation and a people deem worthy of it, or on the basis of their parents’ success in entering the U.S. illegally?

Naturalization

To be a citizen of the United States is an enormous privilege. It grants entry to the polity of the greatest government that the world has ever known. In our republic, the people are sovereign and citizens shape the course of the nation’s future. Critically, they may vote. They have access to a powerful passport and are entitled to the rights protected by our Constitution, including the right to bear arms as protected by the Second Amendment.

Naturalized citizens generally must be able to read, write, and speak English; be of “good moral character;” pass a civics exam; have been a permanent resident for a duration of years; and swear an oath of allegiance that they “will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States.” Those who become citizens after this process have embedded themselves in American society and in our ways of life; the hope is that along the way they have acquired the habits of liberty.

Why go to such lengths to ensure naturalized citizens adhere to our laws and respect our constitutional ideals, if we then freely dole out citizenship to the children of those who have thumbed their noses at our immigration laws and at the ideals of democratic self-governance that brought them about? What message does that send to those who completed the heavy lift of securing legal citizenship by naturalization?

Historical Context of 14th Amendment

Opponents of President Trump’s order point to the 14th Amendment, ratified in the wake of the Civil War, that guarantees citizenship to those “born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” But even they concede that the Fourteenth Amendment’s citizenship clause was intended to overrule the Supreme Court’s infamous Dred Scott opinion and extend citizenship to newly freed slaves. At the time the amendment was ratified in 1868, there was no clear federal law defining who could and couldn’t enter the United States — and so no equivalent of the modern-era notion of an “illegal immigrant.” Simply put, the aims of the era’s constitutional amendments were far removed from the ideas that today’s liberals read into the text.

The figures at stake are vast. In 2018, the Pew Research Center reported that in the last decade or so, somewhere between 6 and 9 percent of babies born in this country were to illegal immigrant parents — meaning at times the figure was close to one out of every ten births.  Even at the low end, the number of those births — around 250,000 in 2016 — was larger than the total number of births in any state other than California or Texas.

Others have detailed the practical benefits of ending birthright citizenship, including the grave national security risks of the practice as well as the enormous fiscal burden attending it. But more important still is that our nation’s survival depends on having a citizenry that understands its precious inheritance. We are a nation bound together by a common commitment to the rule of law and to a republic founded on enlightenment ideals. To sustain our nation, we must take basic minimum steps to guard the privilege of entry into our polity.

Every developed country other than Canada has gotten rid of birthright citizenship — if they ever had it in the first place. It’s long past time we joined their ranks.
