Biden’s Pardons Prove His Corruption

Nothing more highlights the reasons why President Trump (and Republicans) won, why the Kamala/Biden regime lost, and proves Biden’s corruption than the pardons given by Joe in the final days of his failed presidency.

In one of Biden’s final interviews, he ranted that he is “concerned about how fragile democracy is,” implying that President Donald J. Trump (DJT) is a threat to our democracy. Hey Joe -- nothing makes our republic more fragile than having a dishonest president intent on becoming wealthy, and making family members wealthy using criminal means similar to those of organized crime, along with a corrupt Department of Justice and equally corrupt FBI that refused to investigate any of the Biden family corruption while simultaneously investigating political opponents for made-up crimes. And then, after years of using his elected offices to stuff his bank account, on the way out the door, he gives “preemptive” pardons to his entire family, ensuring their ill-gotten gains would never be investigated, and if investigated, never prosecuted. This is cronyism, nepotism, and corruption on a scale the United States has never before seen.

For years, the Dems and their media cabal screamed that DJT was an authoritarian and corrupt. They called him a Hitler, an American Mussolini, an American Caesar, and numerous other names. American voters heard what was said about Trump, saw how Biden put a bullseye on his political opponents, witnessed the unequal justice administered by his Department of (in)Justice, heard the media echoing every accusation the Dems and Biden claimed about DJT -- and soundly rejected all those lies. It was Biden, Harris, the Dems, and their media cabal that are everything they accuse Trump of being. Biden is and the Dems are the authoritarians. Biden is and the Dems are corrupt. Biden is, Kamala is, and the media are dishonest.

We need look no further than the recent pardons handed out by Biden. First off, people receive pardons because they have been found guilty of a crime. Every president has used his “pardon power” to exonerate people, but no president has used that power more than Obama (1,927 pardons and/or commutations) until Biden. Biden issued over 8,000 pardons/commutations (three times more than any previous president), including last-minute preemptive pardons to Biden family members, to January 6 Committee members, Anthony Fauci, and Gen Mark Milley.

Is a preemptive pardon even legal? We’ll soon find out if they’re legal, but, at a minimum, they’re unethical. (If PPs are allowed to continue, nothing would prevent future presidents from running a crime syndicate, like Biden’s family, and simply granting blanket preemptive pardons on the way out.) After the 2020 stolen election, in his final days, the Dems and their media insisted that Trump could not give PPs to himself, family members, or anyone else. They said, “You don’t need a pardon unless you’re guilty of something.” In Dec 2020, Biden said PPs set a bad precedent, and he was concerned about how the rest of the world might view us. He continued, “In my administration, you’re not going to see that kind of approach to pardons,” meaning he would not give PPs. (For the record, DJT never gave PPs.)

To the surprise of nobody, Biden lied. He did exactly what he promised he wouldn’t do -- pardon his family members. Just last December, he gave a full pardon to Hunter for his convictions of gun crimes and tax crimes. Then, during Trump’s inauguration ceremony (literally the final minutes of Biden’s presidency) he gave PPs to Biden family members. He gave those PPs because he and his family are corrupt and guilty of something. For years, probably decades, Biden has engaged in influence peddling and set up bogus shell corporations to hide his money from the IRS. Dishonest, corrupt, and loathsome are not strong enough words to adequately describe Biden and his family. For enriching himself at the expense of the United States, Biden and his entire family are well deserving of every ounce of scorn and shame that will come their way. The pardons Biden gave are his admissions of guilt.

A 2022 House Oversight Committee investigation led by Rep. James Comer (R-KY) proved that Biden sold access and engaged in influence peddling, illegally received millions, and funneled/laundered money to family members via shell corporations. The investigation uncovered bank records proving at least twenty bogus shell companies received over $24 million dollars (Comer’s remarks begin at 23:45) from foreign entities (in Ukraine, China, Russia, etc.), laundered the money, and then deposited millions into Biden family bank accounts. At least six different banks filed over 150 suspicious activity reports that alerted the IRS about questionable financial transactions tied to Hunter and James Biden (Joe’s brother). Strangely (not really), the IRS and DoJ did nothing. In response to Biden’s pardons, Chairman Comer said, “President Biden’s preemptive pardons of the Biden Crime Family serve as a confession of their corruption as they sold out the American people to enrich themselves.”

Remember the numerous times that Joe told the nation that he had no idea about Hunter’s business dealings and never met any of Hunter’s business associates? All lies. Joe met them all. Hunter and his business associates visited the White House at least 100 times while Joe was vice president. Biden Inc. was Hunter’s business, a business of influence peddling and receiving millions from foreigners to gain access to the highest levels of our government. The corruption of Biden and the Dems was made possible because of the corrupt media. Even after Comer’s House investigation proved that Biden lied about being involved with Hunter’s business dealings, the big three networks, ABC, NBC, and CBS, spent zero minutes of news coverage on it. They had no interest in reporting the corruption uncovered by Comer. (Fake news by omission.)

Some argue that Biden’s PPs are no different than DJT pardons granted to J6 political prisoners on his inauguration day. That’s not true. First, Trump campaigned on pardoning the J6 political prisoners. By pardoning them, he did exactly what he promised. Second, the J6 political prisoners were the target of the DoJ’s selective lawfare directed at Trump and his supporters. Third, the J6 political prisoners have all been brought to trial and convicted. Fourth, Trump didn’t use the J6 pardons for personal gain. Biden used his pardons to enrich himself and his family members. Finally, Biden did exactly what he said he wouldn’t do.

The reason that Biden granted the preemptive pardons is because he and his family are guilty of every crime uncovered (likely many others) by Comer’s investigation. Also, he knows how corrupt his regime has been and is projecting his corruption onto DJT’s administration. Incoming AG Pam Bondi should investigate every aspect of Biden’s corrupt presidency as though these pardons never occurred and leave it up to Joe and his crime family to endure the legal battle they forced Trump to endure the past several years. That would be justice.

Just as we must continually remind our children to take out the trash and to say please and thank you, we must be continually reminded about the evil nature of Democrats. And if Dems don’t like being called evil, then they should stop supporting corrupt, vile, and evil politicos like Biden, Kamala, Stacey Abrams, Hillary, and most others with a “D” behind their names.

Democrats Scrambling for a Scalp Show Just How Pathetic They Are

Democrats are desperate for some kind of win, any kind of win. Hell, they are desperate for anything they can just call a win and quickly run away from. As President Donald Trump racks up accomplishment and victory after accomplishment and victory, Nancy Pelosi and the gang are as empty as a Kamala Harris welcome home party or Joe Biden’s head. If you thought the left was pathetic before, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

What can Democrats claim they’re doing well on, anything? They’re sort of slow-walking a couple of nominees for Trump’s Cabinet, but that hasn’t even slowed down the progress the President is making in ridding the government of racist DEI, costly regulations, or anything else the President promised to do.

Democrats don’t matter. Yes, they’re suing because, well, that’s pretty much all they do, but it’s so insignificant at this point as to not matter. Plus, it’s all backfiring. The ACLU is promising to fight the deportation of illegal alien criminals and those who’ve exhausted and lost all their appeals and are now only left with deportation, but this is an issue with clear majority support. Even CNN is shocked by just how popular removing illegals is, demonstrating once again they have their finger firmly on the pulse of…Jimmy Carter (no offense).

For people who scream, “THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE,” usually at people simply trying to give or listen to a speech by a person these little Nazis don’t like, they sure find themselves on the wrong end of the popular will of the public an awful lot. It never stops them – these “champions of democracy” always sue to stop the implementation of every referendum they lose, and they do so without irony or shame.

That last bit is key. A normal person with a functioning brain would not do what they do. They would try to win people to their side, which would require acknowledging that people are not on their side now. Instead, they’ve burrowed back into the cocoon; preferring the echo chamber turned up to 11.

This makes them very dangerous. Nazis didn’t engage in open dialogue, communists weren’t known for discussions on the virtue of their policies, and progressives are the Hellspawn of both ideologies.

One thing they need to give their lives purpose and justify the hate they continually foment is a scalp. Any scalp. If they can get just one Trump nominee to fail in their bid for confirmation, they will be able to justify to themselves the horrible things they do and say. After all, they will have prevented “insert person they’ve decreed to be horrible here” and that makes it all worthwhile.

The only problem is they don’t have any good prospects. They thought they could get Secretary of Defense designee Pete Hegseth because he’s been unfaithful to previous wives, but he’s been faithful since he found faith. Redemption is an important aspect of Christianity, and it’s what Democrats are incapable of understanding. To them, you are forever your worst day and you’ll never be anything more. They aren’t their worst day because they don’t view anything other than not toeing the liberal line as something a human being can do that is wrong.

They dragged out Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law to claim his former wife was afraid of him and he drank too much, things everyone involved has denied – especially his ex-wife.

The truth doesn’t matter to the left because it does them no favors. So they ignore it. Hopefully, this Trump administration will be more aggressive in pursuing criminal charges against people who lie in affidavits, to Congress and are held in contempt of Congress. It’s what Democrats did, and they’ll tell you (when not screaming) that we can’t have two tiers of justice, right?

Who’s next? They want Tulsi Gabbard, but the “she cozies up to America’s enemies” doesn’t hold water when you realize Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry met with Bashar Assad too. Robert Kennedy Jr? I look forward to Democrats attacking a Kennedy – trying to claim domain over his name and family. Hell, maybe it will work – they did get his siblings to denounce him for daring to think for himself, so anything is possible…no matter how unlikely.

Then there is Kash Patel at the FBI. I can’t wait to see a bunch of white liberals telling an Indian-American they find him to be unacceptable. Maybe Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse can explain why he will oppose Kash’s confirmation because he couldn’t become a member of the whites-only beach club his family belongs to and his wife sits on the board of. That would be fun.

Sleazy Democrats are desperate for any kind of win after a year of losing. Their only problem is they don’t have the truth on their side. That has never stood in their way before, so don’t expect it to now. Also, don’t expect their usual tactics to work this time. People don’t trust Democrats anymore, nor should they.

MAGA and the Legacy Media Trap

Years ago, I knew a guy who desperately wanted to make a mark as a conservative activist. He was seriously naïve and ill-informed about most things (he’d been raised in a kind of self-segregated immigrant community). He used to call me up at five in the morning – don’t ask me what he was doing running around at that hour – and say things like, “I just saw the New York Times. They were saying bad things about President Reagan.”

So here I am, half asleep and scarcely able to think (not an uncommon problem with me). I tell him, “The Times, huh. The leading leftist paper in the U.S. What do you expect them to say?”

A long pause. “But…” A real sense of desperation here. “They’re saying bad things about President Reagan!”

It would go around a couple more times before I could get him off the phone, well aware that I hadn’t convinced him because he was beyond convincing. He fancied himself a movement conservative, and all the movement conservatives at the time believed in institutions. Ancient establishments that no matter what the field -- media, finance, government, what have you -- could be trusted implicitly and must not be questioned. So when a media institution -- the NYT above all -- said bad things about Reagan, they had to be true. (That “bad things,” with its kindergarten aura of “if you don’t actually say it, it won’t come true” is a tell. And no, he never did make any contribution.)

I’ve been thinking about this a lot over the past few weeks. Because recent behavior among MAGA conservatives -- the new populist conservatism that has pushed the movement types into well-earned obscurity -- has made it clear that this attitude, toward the legacy media in particular, this attitude that “it was in the noospaper, so it must be twoo,” still exists. And that, playmates, is a problem.

Some people are just not cynical enough. It’s clear that naivete and misplaced trust has a firm grip on MAGA populists. Think for a moment about the hundreds just freed from lengthy, unwarranted sentences because they believed it when the nice policeman invited them into the Capitol and even held the door open for them.

The two most recent examples deserve a close look: The drone invasion and the H-1B uproar.

Both came out of nowhere, apropos of nothing, and both were media-driven. Legacy media – tube and newspapers – not social media, at least not at the start.

Let’s take a look at those drones – if we can find one. The last week of November, they were suddenly all over the place. Thousands of them. Big as SUVs. Or even bigger. Iran had sent them, from a “mother ship.” Or maybe ISIS. They’d already taken over New Jersey, and were ready to spread all over the country (in the end, they didn’t).

Anybody who has ever looked into the UFO crazes of the late 40s and 50s will recognize this narrative immediately. Most people spend their lives without much in the way of looking up. When they do, when they are persuaded to actually pay attention to what is going on over their heads, they tend to see things that were always there but are unfamiliar to them. Someone on the news starts going on about “flying saucers” or “mystery drones,” and this is exactly what happens. I was child during the last -- and largest -- of the UFO “flaps,” as they were called, in 1965, when, triggered by an extremely goofy and ambiguous UFO report from Michigan, thousands of people across the country raced out of their homes, saw Venus or Jupiter, and screamed that the aliens were here. It made quite an impression on me at the time.

That’s exactly what happened these past six weeks regarding the drone attack. I’ve looked at some of the videos. They come in two varieties: 1) small lights too distant to see what they are, and 2) airliners. (I kid you not. The majority of the videos – well over half – were airliners showing the standard lighting arrangement of all such.)

Not to put too paranoid a point on it, but how is it that all this started only a couple weeks after one of the biggest political upsets in modern history? It’s not unusual for political upheavals to have this kind of effect. Look into the Great Fear that gripped revolutionary France just before the Terror or the same panic that spread across the South in the weeks after Lincoln was elected.

I can’t tell you how many drone submissions I’ve fielded over the past few weeks. The frustrating thing is that all of them, with one exception, repeated the panicky, fearful tone of the legacy media coverage: “The drones. They’re coming! They’re from Iran! Or the hollow earth! They’re as big as houses, as aircraft carriers… God help us, can nothing be done…” (The one exception was this sensible piece from Ed Sherdlu, a licensed pilot.)

As we reached the holidays, the drones faded out, as was to be expected. But then they were replaced by something else: the H-1B visa conflagration.

The controversy suddenly sparked out of nowhere when it became apparent that neither Elon nor Vivek Ramaswamy had any intention of targeting the H-1B skilled visas program, on the grounds that it worked and was necessary for the U.S. economy. This was immediately met with an explosion of outrage, much of it from MAGA circles and much of it overwrought and ill-informed. Why, you’d think that Elon had been sending drones over New Jersey.

Elon handled it badly, but he’s a billionaire unused to backtalk. He was also right, being well aware that the U.S. university system turns out streams of feminist interpretive dancers and lit theorists specializing in early Bazooka gum comics but not so many highly-trained techs.

The media, and the Democrat/DEI structure, want desperately to drive a wedge into the MAGA movement, and that’s exactly what they did here. It’s appalling how many MAGA kids went along with the joke, immediately concluding that the H-1B visa was a dagger pointed at the heart of a helpless America. That anybody who supported them was in league with the Chinese and the Cartels. That Musk and Ramaswamy were the very worst of RINO carpetbaggers. I’m quite sure that the legacy media, the Dems, and the elites couldn’t be more pleased.

Fortunately, the damage hasn’t been permanent. But we need not congratulate ourselves. Once again, paranoia is uncalled for. But it wouldn’t hurt to consider whether these convenient episodes were something along the lines of proof-of-concept, a demonstration that MAGA can be manipulated as easily as the old movement conservatives, or, for that matter, pink-haired lefties.

We have to do better. Become suspicious, cynical, more enquiring and intuitive. We must not, in the words of Patton, “take counsel of our fears.” We must extend no trust to the legacy media at all, on any topic, at any time. Above all, we must upgrade and retune our BS detectors.

The next time such a panic ignites, ask yourself: Does this make sense? Why now? What happened last week that somebody would like to see disappear? Where does this come from? Who does it serve? Who does it hurt? For a long time, conservatives have insisted that they can’t be fooled, that they know too much, that they’re way smarter than all the pink pussyhat wearers. Well, playmates, the drones tell me that is not the case.

We’re going to be hearing a lot of wild tales in the months to come. A lot of demented claims, a lot of accusations, a lot of signs and wonderments. It’s safe to say that not a single one will have any weight. It will be best to discount them all.

We can take it for granted that anything coming out of legacy media is suspect. Legitimate journalists are bailing out. Newspaper owners have had enough. Jeff Bezos, WaPo owner and the most humane and fundamentally decent of the Third Millennial moguls, and Patrick Soon-Shiong of the LA Times have both embarked on reforming their newspapers. There’s also Bari Weiss, a smart lady who quit the NY Times out of disgust and has been extraordinarily critical of the media in the Free Press and her own podcastsince.

Don’t fall into the legacy media trap. Don’t let yourself be led around by the nose by your enemies. Don’t give in to panic. And above all, don’t go calling people up at five in the morning.

WATCH: What's Going On With Schiff's Face During Hissy Fit About Trump's Executive Orders?

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

President Donald Trump has come in like a whirlwind and he's done more in 24 hours than Joe Biden probably did in all his time occupying the Oval Office.

It's been pretty stunning so far.

You know how much Trump is doing by the fits being thrown by the Democrats.

Among the Democrats throwing hissies, there was new Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA). Schiff tried to suggest that Trump's executive actions would somehow result in more wildfires and floods.

This sounds like a ridiculous effort to deflect from the Democrats' leadership failure in the California wildfires. It's the Democrats who have "weakened California...standards."  Trump is the one who encouraged preventative actions like clearing brush. Here's a thought: how about not having an empty reservoir before the wildfires hit? Adam is just desperate to attack, but there's nothing in Trump's executive actions to attack -- just common sense.

Beyond that, people noticed something else in the video, and asked: what the heck is going on with his face? Schiff claimed that he "banged [his] head," adding that it was  "[r]eally dumb, clumsy."  What's going on with the cheeks, too?

Trump did make a reference to Adam Schiff during the signing of his executive actions.

He said he used to say that real estate developers were probably worse than politicians, but then "after three months of getting to know scum like Adam Schiff," he changed his mind and said it was the politicians.

Then of course, the former House member's also one of the people that Joe Biden pardoned in his last minute on the way out the door, when he pardoned the people on the Jan. 6 Committee.

Here's what Schiff said about such pardons back in 2020, when he was trying to attack Trump, suggesting he might pardon members of his family:

Swap in Joe Biden there for Trump, because Biden actually did give sweeping preemptive pardons for his family members; Trump did not. But that's the Democrats, always yelling about the norms -- while their side breaks the norms.

J6 Investigation To Move To Judiciary Committee To Help Republicans Uncover FBI Abuses

Details about the funding and composition of the select subcommittee are still being arranged. Authorizing language is being drafted and will be finalized within the next two weeks.

Liz Cheney was pardoned by former President Joe Biden for her crimes against America, but congressional investigators will continue to uncover the truth of what really happened at the 2020 election protest at the United States Capitol — including the presence of FBI informants in the crowd, the placement and discovery of pipe bombs at party offices, and various other FBI abuses.

A new select subcommittee led by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., will be established under the Judiciary Committee to continue the work of the previous Congress, according to multiple sources familiar with the plan. Loudermilk led the previous effort as chair of the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee. That subcommittee released and published 40,000 hours of security footage from Jan. 6, uncovered interviews suppressed by Cheney’s committee that disputed her made-for-TV allegations, and referred Cheney for prosecution over her tampering with star witness Cassidy Hutchinson. Hutchinson, a low-level Trump aide, began dramatically changing her story after clandestine correspondence with the former Republican representative. Cheney, who was hand-selected by former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to run the committee and its televised show trial, accepted a pardon for her alleged witness tampering and other crimes she may have committed.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson announced the work would continue and be fully funded in a Jan. 2 social media post after President Biden awarded Liz Cheney the Presidential Citizens Medal for leading a controversial committee that shaped the left’s understanding of the Jan. 6 protest.

“The Jan 6 Select Committee manipulated AND destroyed evidence — created a fake, phony narrative all to try and hurt Trump. They even hired a TV producer from the legacy media in a desperate attempt to legitimize what Americans knew was a total hoax and complete waste of time,” Johnson said on X. “Be assured of this: House Republicans WILL continue our investigation into this corrupt committee and it will be FULLY FUNDED so it can continue next Congress.”

As noted earlier, Loudermilk and his staff uncovered transcribed interviews Cheney’s committee had suppressed because they were at odds with the narrative she was creating. For instance, Cheney suppressed evidence that President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital, falsely claiming she had “no evidence” to support Trump officials’ claims the White House had communicated its desire for 10,000 National Guard troops.

In fact, an early transcribed interview conducted by the committee included precisely that evidence from a key source. The interview, which Cheney attended and personally participated in, was suppressed from public release. Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato’s first transcribed interview with the committee was conducted on Jan. 28, 2022. In it, he told Cheney and her investigators that he overheard White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows push Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser to request as many National Guard troops as she needed to protect the city. He also testified President Trump had suggested 10,000 troops would be needed to keep the peace at the public rallies and protests scheduled for Jan. 6, 2021.

In addition, Ornato described White House frustration with Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller’s slow deployment of assistance on the afternoon of Jan. 6, 2021. Not only did the committee not accurately characterize the interview, it suppressed the transcript from public review. On top of that, committee allies began publishing critical stories and even conspiracy theories about Ornato ahead of follow-up interviews with him. Ornato was a career Secret Service official who had been detailed to the security position in the White House.

Hutchinson’s televised testimony included claims Donald Trump had lunged at the steering wheel in order to commandeer a vehicle to the Capitol. The driver of the vehicle testified that Trump did not grab or reach for the steering wheel. “I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all,” the driver, a Secret Service agent, testified. Cheney hid the full testimony, Loudermilk revealed.

Details about the funding and composition of the select subcommittee are still being arranged. Authorizing language is being drafted and will be finalized within the next two weeks.

What The Founding Fathers Would Have To Say About Biden's And Trump’s Presidential Pardons

In four years, Biden used his Article 2, Section 2 powers more than 8,064 times.

On Jan. 20, 2025, both former President Biden and President Trump issued pardons pursuant to Article 2, Section 2 of the United States Constitution. While President Biden pardoned five members of his family, Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, and the members and staff of the House special committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol demonstration, President Trump issued pardons to all individuals “convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.”

President Biden clearly ignored the warning of Alexander Hamilton, who instructed us in Federalist 74 “that the benign prerogative for pardoning should be as little as possible fettered or embarrassed.” In four years, Biden used his Article 2, Section 2 powers more than 8,064 times. That is more pardons and clemencies issued than the last 10 presidents, who served over 57 years.

James Wilson, the most prolific speaker during the debate over the United States Constitution with more than 172 speeches and later an associate justice of the Supreme Court, called the presidential pardon power “extraordinary.” In his 1791 Lectures on Law, he taught us that this extraordinary power was to be used “after they have been apprehended, tried, convicted, and condemned.” Let us be clear, Biden’s family, Fauci, Milley, and the members of the House J6 Committee have never been apprehended, tried, or convicted, let alone condemned. They were not eligible for a presidential pardon.

Article 2, Section 2 of the Constitution clearly states that the president has the power to pardon “for Offences against the United States.” However, Biden understands that these individuals he has pardoned have not committed an offense against the United States because his pardon statement says, “The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense.” How can former President Biden pardon someone for an offense against the United States when his pardoning message says that they are not guilty of any offense?

While our Founding Fathers would have said the president could not pardon someone who has not been convicted, the Supreme Court has indicated that a president might have the power to preemptively pardon an individual. However, for someone to avail himself of this Supreme Court precedent that is not fully developed and is over 100 years old, the individual must first confess to an offense against the United States. If an individual does not confess to an offense against the United States, the court in Burdick v. U.S. made clear the pardon is not valid.

Should President Trump’s DOJ decide to investigate the Biden family, Fauci, Milley, or the members of the Jan. 6 Committee, these individuals could be prosecuted until they publicly confessed to an offense against the United States. However, even if they did that, Trump’s DOJ could still pursue the matter, arguing that Article 2, Section 2 did not give President Biden the right to preemptively pardon anyone. That issue would eventually be heard in the Supreme Court. Only then would the nation have a definitive answer as to whether a president has the power to preemptively pardon someone who has never been convicted and who has not confessed to an offense against the United States.

According to Alexander Hamilton, the purpose of the pardon power is to help heal the nation after a time of turmoil. In Federalist 74, Hamilton wrote, “In seasons of insurrection or rebellion, there are often critical moments, when a well timed offer of pardon to the insurgents or rebels may restore the tranquility of the commonwealth.” George Washington understood this principle when, in 1795, he issued amnesty to those engaged in Pennsylvania’s Whiskey Rebellion.

President Trump is simply following the advice of Alexander Hamilton and the example of George Washington. Democrats in Washington, D.C., have called the events that transpired on Jan. 6, 2021, an insurrection. President Trump is using the intended purpose of his pardoning power to restore the tranquility of the nation after years of public political prosecutions.

After J6 Pardons, The FBI And DOJ Have Nothing To Show For Four Years Of Ignoring Terrorists And Child Traffickers

Over the last four years, Americans watched as the FBI and the Department of Justice worked overtime to imprison the citizens who bankroll them for daring to dissent from the Biden regime’s narratives. On his first day in office, with one stroke of a pen, President Donald Trump not only reversed that lawfare, but effectively solidified the premier federal law enforcement agencies’ places as some of the most corrupt, inefficient, and incompetent arms of the federal government.

For both the DOJ and the FBI, the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot witch hunt was everything. Both devoted an unprecedented amount of resources to tracking down anyone and everyone with a connection to Jan. 6 events, from grandmas who were let into the Capitol by police to those who merely attended Trump’s Save America rally miles away from the chaos.

The FBI and DOJ manipulated data and narratives to exaggerate the prominence of “domestic terrorism,” portraying it as the greatest terrorism threat to the country. The department and the agency used this manufactured campaign not only to go after Trump supporters, but also to pursue Trump himself.

The FBI, spurred by the DOJ’s promise to prosecute so-called “threats to democracy,” was so committed to its J6 inquisition that it reassigned agents tasked with tackling child sexual abuse cases to capturing people who entered the Capitol. Similarly, the DOJ shirked its duty to investigate Hunter Biden — whose tax, gun, and apparent Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) misconduct were only the tip of the Biden family corruption iceberg — in favor of harassing Catholicsconcerned parentspro-lifers, and J6ers.

Even after devoting excessive time, resources, and agents to the partisan persecution of the Biden regime’s political enemies, the FBI still can’t answer key questions about what went down on Jan. 6, 2021.

Who planted the pipe bombs at the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee headquarters remains a mystery. Exactly how many FBI informants were involved in the Capitol chaos was also a guessing game until the recent release of an inspector general report, which circumvented the agency’s refusal to disclose that fact.

Both Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray were too busy playing victim in the pages of The Washington Post and in front of the same Congress they did everything to stonewall to do accomplish anything positive. Instead, they squandered an unconscionable amount of taxpayer dollars to throw their opponents in prison.

Trump’s swift decision to pardon the more than 1500 Americans who found themselves the target of a Democrat operation to portray them as the villains in the “darkest day in U.S. history” wasn’t just a victory against the deep state. It was also a testament to the DOJ’s and FBI’s all-around worthlessness and ability to waste time on investigations that did nothing to make the country better or safer.

Libs Can Now Use Virtue-Signaling Flags to Wipe Away Tears, Because They Won't Be Flying at US Embassies

I remember visiting Kingston, Jamaica, a few years ago and we stayed right near the American Embassy. It was all lit up in rainbow colors to celebrate Pride Month, and it stuck out like a sore thumb and just seemed wildly out of place. All the locals I spoke to hated it. Right in their own capital, they were being told what to believe.

It also seemed incongruent to me because in my mind, United States embassies shouldn’t be used to promote sexual orientations of any kind. Their point is to conduct diplomacy, not make woke statements.

As RedState's Streiff noted in his story about changes at the State Department, Donald Trump evidently feels the same way because they're adopting a policy banning Pride and BLM flags at embassies and outposts around the globe.

There are some important exceptions:

The Washington Free Beacon first reported that it obtained a copy of the "One Flag Policy" order, which permits only the American flag to be flown at U.S. facilities at home and abroad, with two notable exceptions: the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) emblem and the Wrongful Detainees Flag.

"Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content," the memo states, according to the outlet. "The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy. These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present."

Trump was just inaugurated on Monday, but already he and his administration have fundamentally changed how things are going to operate--from the border to the embassies and more.

Both Biden and Obama before him were big fans of flying the virtue-signaling flags:

The policy comes after the Biden administration courted controversy over the last four years over flying such flags, igniting lengthy debates between Democrats and Republicans

Former President Joe Biden caught flack for flying the Pride flag outside the White House during a Pride Month celebration in 2023, and in 2021 for a leaked State Department memo that encouraged U.S. embassies to display Black Lives Matter flags on the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder.

The State Department outlines their mission on their website:

To protect and promote U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values and shape an international environment in which all Americans can thrive.

I don’t know how flying BLM flags in honor of George Floyd shapes “an international environment in which all Americans can thrive,” nor do I see how putting up Pride flags around the world promotes “U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values.”

The message from the president and his newly-installed Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is: stop goofing around with all this woke stuff, and get back to doing the actual work of statesmanship and strengthening America.
