Has the Storm Arrived?

In my last column, I wrote about the new Independence Day, Jan. 20. This is when a corrupt and tyrannical administration exits Washington, D.C., for Delaware beaches or unwatchable and dying left-wing cable news shows.

Such a housecleaning is long overdue. Thanks to former (that has a nice ring to it) President Joe Biden, America has 10-15 million new illegal aliens, mostly young men of military age, from virtually every country across the globe.

Biden upped the national debt to over $36 trillion, with annual interest payments on this debt exceeding $1 trillion, more than we spend on defense. Crime is out of control, as exemplified by a New York City subway rider being set on fire and a flight attendant getting her throat slit on the 16th Street Mall in Denver.

We have spent hundreds of billions of dollars securing the borders of Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, South Korea, and others while leaving our borders open with a large welcome mat.

The government has been weaponized against domestic opposition, ranging from a presidential candidate to nonviolent protestors, school board attendee parents, Latin Mass aficionados, and those challenging the whimsical and fickle COVID “science.”

Inflation has wrecked the finances of middle-class America, making it challenging to put groceries on the family table, pay basic bills, and enjoy anything close to the lifestyle of past generations.

The people spoke several months ago, on Nov. 5, by a commanding margin, asking for another helping of MAGA (Make America Great Again) after four years of MASA (Make America Suck Again). We now have president (that has an even better ring) Donald Trump taking a second bite of the presidential apple.

Trump is no longer a neophyte to Washington, D.C., as he was in 2016. He visited the nation’s capital only 17 times before moving into the White House the first time. As the 45th president, he had an up-close-and-personal view of the deep state, administrative state, ruling class, swamp, blob, or whatever you choose to call the permanent and unaccountable national power structure.

America had a chance to vote based on a head-to-head comparison. Both Trump and Biden/Harris had four years to lead the country, for better or for worse. Trump also had four years off the field, planning his second-term strategy.

He has stood down a special counsel investigation based on fabricated campaign opposition research. He was impeached twice. The media criticized his every word or action for four years.

He picked his cabinet, advisors, and inner circle far more strategically and thoughtfully than eight years ago. Rather than trying to play nice with the GOP establishment and ruling class, he is going scorched earth. He has two, maybe four, depending on how the midterm elections go, years to deliver a fatal blow to the corrupt administrative state.

Trump needed his four-year walk in the wilderness to rethink, regroup, and prepare himself for battle. If he won reelection in 2020, his second term would be bogged down with treacherous and disloyal advisors and lawfare from both Republicans and Democrats, threatening to ruin or bankrupt Trump, his family, and his supporters.

Democrats and the ruling class will rue the day they pilfered the 2020 election. Instead of a weakened lame-duck President Trump serving his second term, with the lawfare chihuahuas constantly nipping at his ankles, they had the failed Biden presidency.

Now in 2025, it’s a new and improved Donald Trump, refreshed and ready to release a can of Mar-a-Lago whoop-ass on Washington, D.C.

As Obama adviser David Plouffe threatened, "It is not enough to simply beat Trump. He must be destroyed thoroughly. His kind must not rise again."

For four years, from 2020 through 2024, they certainly tried. If the 2024 presidential election turned out differently, Plouffe’s warning would have come true.

But America heeded Joni Mitchell’s words, “Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till it’s gone.”

Voters realized what they had during Trump’s first term, which was soon gone, and they paved over Obama/Clinton/Biden/Harris and put up not a parking lot but the foundation for a new shining city on a hill.

Now, it’s time for the storm. Why would a storm be helpful? Hurricanes provide many benefits as a flip side to destruction when they hit heavily built-up and populated coastal enclaves. Hurricanes bring necessary water, break up bacteria, replenish plant life, and restore heat balance.

A Trump storm might have a similar effect in Washington, D.C., bringing desperately needed liberty, breaking up the blob, replenishing freedom, and restoring the Constitutional order and balance.

Lifting the curtain for a peek behind deep state activities, the enigmatic Q, dropper of breadcrumbs, prophesized back in 2017, “Look to Twitter: Exactly this: ‘My fellow Americans, the Storm is upon us ...’ God bless.”

Whether or not posted on Twitter (which Trump currently does not use much) or on his Truth Social platform, or simply enacted, make no mistake that the storm will be upon us on Jan. 20.

Is Q a deep state psyop providing false hope or a legitimate voice from government white hats? Will Q reappear once Trump is again our commander-in-chief? Does it matter?

What does matter is that Trump will be signing 100 executive orders on day one. Cabinet secretary hearings started the week before the inauguration. Trump is rested and ready to reenter the existential battle.

Compare Trump’s official inauguration photo from 2016 to 2024, from a smiling politician to a warrior ready to take no prisoners. This is the face of The Storm.

Who knows what else Trump has planned? He is likely keeping most of his plans close to the vest. Q also spoke of “stealth bombers.” Expect many surprises beginning today and going forward, such as storms that emerge from seemingly calm and quiet skies catching everyone off guard.

The Deep State is a monstrous hydra with multiple heads. Once severed, its heads can regenerate, and the hydra can only be defeated if its immortal head is chopped off. This task is daunting even for Trump and his cabinet and advisors, but it’s now or never.

We may not see another Donald Trump in our lifetimes: thick skin, a steel spine, and unwavering determination to drain the swamp and make America great again. Trump is the storm and will unleash havoc on the dark forces in America.

Is this God’s providence, a man spared instant death by grace, turning his head at the last second to avoid a life-ending bullet?

Whatever it is, this will be a year to behold. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, and what a time it is to be alive. Enjoy the storm, and may it restore America to what our Founding Fathers imagined 250 years ago.

The Great Man Returns

It seemed fitting that President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral took place only days before President Trump’s second inauguration.  Carter has often been described as one of the nation’s worst executives — a pejorative epithet now firmly attached to President Biden’s name as well.  So it was painfully symbolic for the lost and confused outgoing president to eulogize his often-disparaged predecessor.  One could be forgiven for wondering whether, at the end of his remarks, Old Joe might try to scooch Jimmy’s body to one side and join him in the casket.  Both literally and figuratively, we buried two terrible presidents this January.

Of course, all of America’s living ex-presidents attended Carter’s funeral.  Sitting in the same pew at Washington’s National Cathedral, they appeared a perfect rogues’ gallery of corruption and failure.  Bill Clinton still looks like the “after” picture for a high school class on the consequences of contracting venereal disease.  George W. Bush has aged like a man whose conscience torments his waking hours.  Barack Obama resembles a worn photograph of a forgotten celebrity from a bygone era.

Seated among them were the former first ladies.  Well, not all of them.  Michelle Obama was reportedly so appalled at the thought of sitting next to President Trump (as protocol required) that she decided to ditch tradition and hang out with a wine box in Hawaii.  (Personally, I think she dreads having to spend time with her husband and probably resented the public expectation that she pay respects to a white Southerner — even if he was a Democrat.)  On the other side of the pew from Michelle’s void, bitter Hillary Clinton scowled while wedged between her lecherous husband and her “brother,” Dubya.  Hillary’s miserable and angry visage reflected the dark and damaged soul of someone who has given everything to the Devil for the promise of power only to see that power ripped from her claws.  Her glowering expression fairly represented the sordid group of exes as a whole.

Then there was President Donald J. Trump — no doubt a major trigger for Hillary’s shrewish ire — who almost looks younger and more spirited with each passing year.  The contrast in appearance between the vigorous Trump and the rotting Establishment that he has repeatedly outflanked was stark and revealing.  Indeed, the image of a happy and confident President Trump separated from a crusty “ruling class” in various stages of decay was difficult to ignore.  On a pew filled with failed former presidents, a returning president was most certainly not like the others.  All life gravitated toward the world-historical figure and his beautiful wife seated on the far end.  That makes sense.  Bill, Hillary, Dubya, Barack, and Old Joe represent America’s mismanaged past, whereas President and First Lady Trump are leading America away from decades of accumulated damage and toward a more promising future.

In an essay years ago, I asked a simple question: “What do Democrats fear in Donald Trump?”  I offered a straightforward answer: they fear his potential for greatness.  One look at the necrotic assembly present for Carter’s funeral provided visual proof for my asked-and-answered query.  The National Cathedral was packed with some of the most powerful Americans from the last half-century — presidents, military chiefs, intelligence heads, central bankers, and Wall Street titans.  Not one — aside from President Donald J. Trump — will be remembered as historically exceptional.

The decrepit club of failed former presidents attests to this point.  Bill Clinton will be remembered for cheating on Hillary with a White House intern barely old enough to legally drink alcohol.  He will be remembered for using the Oval Office as a bordello and renting out the Lincoln Bedroom by the hour.  He will be remembered for handing military technology and most-favored-nation trading status to the Chinese Communist Party in return for campaign cash.  He will be remembered for initiating the vast offshoring of America’s industrial and manufacturing jobs to third-world countries and the vast transfer of middle-class Americans’ wealth to foreign adversaries.  He will be remembered for privatizing the prison system and filling new cells with black Americans.  He will be remembered as a venal and lascivious liar whose proclivities for self-aggrandizement, fraud, and falsehood were surpassed only by those of his even more corrupt wife.

George W. Bush, I am sorry to say, will be remembered for only three things: (1) failing to prevent the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor, (2) launching a global “war on terror” that cost too many lives and too much money for questionable strategic objectives, and (3) constructing a post-9/11 national security surveillance state that trashed the Bill of Rights and turned every American into a criminal suspect.  By advocating for mass amnesty while using the PATRIOT Act to destroy Americans’ Fourth Amendment right to be secure from unreasonable and warrantless searches, Bush left Americans both less safe and less free.

Barack Obama forfeited his shot at greatness.  He could have united the country by framing his presidency as the visible culmination of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s worthy “dream.”  He could have offered his election as evidence that America is becoming a post-racial society that values character over skin color.  Had Obama done so, support for his brand of politics would have been so great that there might not even be a Republican Party today.  Instead, he and “wingman” Attorney General Eric Holder spent eight years rubbing salt in old racial wounds and dividing the country for expedient political victories.  Transforming the architecture of Bush’s unconstitutional post-9/11 surveillance state into a Deep State machine for monitoring, censoring, and criminally punishing political foes, Obama and Holder further dismantled the Bill of Rights and diminished America’s historic foundations in individual liberty.  Because petty vindictiveness has always blinded Obama, he squandered any chance at greatness.

The words “Joe Biden” and “greatness” look odd in the same sentence because Dementia Joe has always been an unimpressive politician of low character and even lower intelligence.  He is the poster boy for mediocrity, and the Deep State alone is responsible for his installation as president.  The Intelligence Community defrauded American voters during the 2020 election by claiming that Hunter Biden’s incriminating laptop was “Russian disinformation” and censoring the story.  Democrat officials ignored election security laws by allowing political operatives to flood Democrat-controlled precincts with unverified (and most likely fraudulent) mail-in ballots.  To this day, no mainstream news “reporter” can explain how President Trump could lose an election in which he won nearly every traditional bellwether county by double-digits.  No credentialed “journalist” can explain how Joe Biden — a man who struggled to win Democrat primaries — could wind up with more votes in the 2020 general election than any candidate in U.S. history.  No national pundit can explain why the “most popular” politician of all time would have to bow out of the 2024 race.  Americans know the truth, even if Establishment censors insist on telling lies.  Cheating his way into office precluded Biden’s achieving greatness of any kind.  Acting as a puppet for Barack Obama, in fact, precluded his even being a real president.

Sitting next to all those failures and frauds at Carter’s funeral, President Donald J. Trump stood out.  He’s faced the fire and pushed forward.  His enemies have thrown everything at him, and still he stands.  The Deep State allowed two separate assassins to threaten his life, and the man never stopped fighting.  Impeachments, Democrat-funded civil lawsuits, criminal trials, FBI raids, attempts to remove him from state ballots — the Establishment Class has done whatever it can to keep Trump from representing the American people.  Yet he returns to office with a huge political mandate.

This presidency will break the mold.  History will be made.  Buckle up.  Get ready.  This is going to be great.

Trump’s Department of Justice Needs To Go After the Biden Family Immediately

I’ve never really been in favor of the idea of endless investigations into people just because they are your political opponent. I didn’t like it when Democrats did it to Donald Trump, and I wasn’t keen on the idea of Republicans doing it to Democrats. But notice how that sentence is in the past tense. Screw those people, unleash the hounds.

I have known Joe Biden was a vindictive, corrupt little man. On his last day in office he showed just how far down the toilet he now lives.

My former boss, the late Montana Senator Conrad Burns, was not a big fan of some Democrats who were around in my time. His least favorite, and the man he told me was absolutely corrupt, was Harry Reid. While the list of people he’d have choice words for in private was not all that long, it did include Joe Biden.

Biden was “not a bright man” and full of pieces of post digested food quite often, to put it in family friendly terms. But no one really thought of him as corrupt. He rode the train, talked about how modestly he lived, etc. That should have been the first red flag.

Smart people don’t talk about how smart they are, funny people don’t waste your time telling you they’re funny, you just notice. Joe Biden has spent years telling everyone how “normal” he was – claiming the nicknames “middle class Joe” and “lunch bucket Joe,” neither of which anyone other than Biden has ever called Joe Biden.

He’s been so full of that post-digested food his whole life it’s a wonder his hair ever went grey, until you realize what happens to that “dog dirt” if it sits in the yard for a couple of weeks.

To hell with him and his wife. When Joe pardoned his family it was an attempt to cover up a conspiracy in this Joe was not only a participant, but the hub.

I don’t know the answer to this, but I believe there is a legal challenge that should clarify the answer to: Can a President pardon members of a criminal conspiracy that he is a party to?

Without Joe Biden’s position in government, his son, his brother and the rest of the clan have nothing to sell. Literally. They all, collectively, bring nothing to the table. They’ve never worked in the various industries that suddenly decided to pay them fortunes, they never been to many of the countries they got money from and they didn’t even speak the language of those countries. The only way to bring less to the table is to take things away from the table.

What did they do?

They’ve now all been pardoned, which means they have absolutely zero grounds for pleading the 5th Amendment if they were called to testify before Congress or any other criminal proceeding. That protects against self-incrimination, which the pardon makes impossible.

Congress should immediately launch an investigation into this, both the House and Senate. Subpoena everyone. Joe can shield his documents in the decision-making process, he can’t claim executive privilege over people who had zero role in the Executive Branch or were not government employees.

While the pardons may hold, they will not protect anyone from a perjury charge should they lie under oath; or a contempt of Congress charge, should they refuse to answer questions.

Veterans of the first Trump administration went to prison for this, and no one is above the law, right?

We need to know just how corrupt the Biden family was. Even if most of them are protected from prosecution by these pardons – and I think it’s an open question, depending upon if those pardons came to be as part of a criminal conspiracy – the country needs to know for posterity and to protect against future corruption.

Get on this Mike Johnson and John Thune. I know neither of you want to, it’s just not who you are or how either of you operate, but this is too important to be held to old standards of the Marquis of Queensbury Rules in a guerilla war.

The country not only needs to know just how deep the corruption of the Biden family goes but how it worked so that nothing like the Biden Crime Family ever again even sniffs the levers of power in the United States of America. Let that be Joe Biden’s legacy. Shame on them.

NAS Welcomes Trump's Day One Executive Orders on Education

National Association of Scholars

  • Statement
  • January 21, 2025

The National Association of Scholars (NAS) welcomes the first-day Trump administration executive orders regarding education. These executive orders promise ambitious and effective reform to rid American education of the many detrimental policy decisions that have accreted in the last years.

In particular, we welcome these four executive orders:

  • Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth To the Federal Government. This executive order re-conforms the government with reality by stating that the government recognizes only two biological sexes, directs the government to use the word “sex” instead of “gender,” and directs the government to abandon all policies redefining sex to accord with “gender ideology” and “gender expression.” NAS has encouraged such measures to be enacted by statute; we are delighted that this executive order begins the process of restoring the recognition of natural order to the American government.
  • Ending Wasteful and Radical Government DEI Programs and Preferencing. This executive order rescinds the government’s commitment to “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) programs, “equity” programs, and “environmental justice” programs. This begins the process of eliminating both the government commitment and the bureaucratic infrastructure devoted to this latest form of race discrimination. NAS has opposed such euphemisms for race discrimination since its founding in 1987; this too is extremely welcome news.
  • Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness. This executive order restores our public history by restoring our geographic nomenclature from the purge enacted upon it by radical ideologues. Members of our staff have explicitly called for this long since, and it certainly aligns with NAS’ mission to keep the politicization of the academy from destroying America’s public history.
  • Promoting Beautiful Civic Architecture. This executive order restores our public spaces by evicting the cult of ugliness—another unfortunate import from the radicalized academy—from our civic architecture. Members of our staff also have supported this measure, and it likewise aligns with NAS’ mission to preserve the best of Western civilization.

The Trump administration’s first-day executive orders are more declarations of intent than detailed policies. They set an agenda rather than imposing policy changes at once. The devil, therefore, will be in the details of execution. We urge the Trump administration to fulfill the spirit of these executive orders as swiftly as possible—and, wherever possible, to undergird these executive orders with statutes that confirm their broad democratic support and make it more difficult for a later administration to undo these reforms. And, of course, we very strongly urge Secretary of Education–Designate Linda McMahon and her colleagues at the Education Department to apply these executive orders as soon as possible to every Education Department policy and regulation.

Some of these executive orders could go further. We do not believe that the Trump administration has yet renounced the Title IX redefinition of “sex” to include “sexual orientation,” or the redefinition of “sex discrimination” to include “sexual harassment” and “sexual violence.” Nor has the Trump administration declared that it will rescind “disparate impact” theory. We hope that these and many other needed reforms also will be addressed in the days to come. But we say this with a deep and grateful acknowledgment of how much the Trump administration has accomplished in its first day. Even the Lord took six days to make the Earth; we realize that humans will take longer to make America great again.

We do raise an official eyebrow at renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. NAS does prefer traditional nomenclature, which allows America to retain its connections to its history and its culture. If this shift were successful, it would make it more difficult for future Americans to understand great contributions to the American songbook such as “The Battle of New Orleans”:

We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin’;
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin’
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

But the world can live with different names for bodies of water. The English Channel is La Manche in France; the Sea of Japan is the East Sea in Korea; and Arabs call the Persian Gulf the Arabian Gulf. If this name change sticks, then Mexico will call it the Gulf of Mexico, we will call it the Gulf of America, and fishermen on waterfront bars at Brownsville will have something to banter about over beer.

The National Association of Scholars has never seen a better first day for education policy from any presidential administration. More! More! Let this first day presage four years of successful education policy reform.

Journalists Horrified As Village People Perform Double Hitler Salute

Journalists Horrified As Village People Perform Double Hitler Salute

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Village People stirred up controversy with their performance at the inauguration of Donald Trump yesterday, with many media sources accusing the group of doing a double Hitler salute during their performance.

According to journalists from sources like the Washington Post, CNN, Huffington Post, and ABC, the band's gestures during the performance could be ominous indications of latent fascist support for Trump.

"It's not just one Hitler salute, either," warned CNN's Jake Tapper. "We're seeing these people literally double Trump's Nazism with two whole Hitler salutes. This could be the most dangerous threat to democracy we have ever seen in human history, besides Trump."

While some commentators have pointed out that the gesture seems to have been meant to depict the letter "Y" as part of the group's famous song "YMCA," the suggestion has been taken as an even more foreboding indication of potential fascism from Trump.

"Y? You mean like, Y, as in the second-to-last letter of the alphabet? Which is right next to the third-to-last letter of the alphabet? Just like the Third Reich was the third and last German Reich? Don't you guys see where this is going?" Tapper added. "This is a dark omen of things to come."

At publishing time, several media sources had begun reporting that the acronym YMCA is actually a secret fascist dog-whistle.

Speaker Johnson's Latest Biden Story Should Launch an Investigation Into His Presidency

We joke about Joe Biden being braindead. It’s less of a joke and more of a fact now. Ever since the president got the brakes beaten off him in the CNN presidential debate last June, the media is now suddenly devoting lengthy, in-depth pieces about the mental decline and fall of Joe Biden. On day one, his aides noticed the mental degradation but covered it up. They got massive assistance from their allies in the media. However, the stories are now too numerous to ignore the constitutional ramifications, and Speaker Mike Johnson’s latest anecdote should spur a select committee to investigate.

It's not the first time we’ve had these issues. Barack Obama had a machine affix his signature on numerous pieces of legislation, which drew legal questions. Yet, Obama had his mental faculties intact and political skills, which Joe always lacked, but that’s another issue. Speaking with journalist Bari Weiss, Mr. Johnson recounted a classic "who am I" moment involving the president, where he asked Biden why he signed an executive order banning liquefied natural gas exports to Europe last January. The president told the House speaker outright he didn’t remember signing anything of that nature:

The speaker left wondering who was running the country. The ban is there—it’s something Donald Trump is expected to reverse through an executive order. How many other executive orders does Biden not remember signing? Who’s pushing them out? How much of what the Biden presidency passed is legal?

We’re tired of select committees because the January 6 one was a crock and a waste of taxpayer dollars, but this is a different beast. The man who controls the nuclear arsenal can’t remember what he signed. Isn’t this a constitutional crisis of the highest order? And with his White House filled with many far-left acolytes, no doubt some of them conspired to push things that might not have had the president’s approval. The seal of the presidency might have been used (it’s more than likely, to be honest) to pass along the policy, no questions asked, which is why the notion that White House staffers were running the country isn’t off base.

I’m not trying to get into a neo-birther position here—Obama was born in the United States and was eligible to be president, despite some entertaining antics from Trump back in 2012 about showing us the birth certificate. However, the evidence is clear that Biden was never in charge, and it’s prudent that someone investigate whether illegal orders were carried out. It’s ironic since Democrats are obsessed about Trump issuing those to our military when Joe Biden might be guilty of such offenses because he’s senile and his overzealous staff took the reins.

If something comes of this, great. If not, we do have much bigger fish to fry, like securing the border, finishing the wall, deporting criminal illegal aliens, restoring order to the world scene, making the Trump tax cuts permanent, and a host of other issues, not least being the rebuilding of Los Angeles County.

Yet, people can walk and chew gum. The only problem is that the people who seem incapable of that skill are elected lawmakers in Washington.

Now It Can Be Told: History Will Not Be Kind To Bitter Joe Biden

Chuck Schumer’s tell-all confession about Biden’s unfitness to serve as president is telling — and dangerously too late. He’s an accomplice.

It has been said that history belongs to those who write it. That’s a big problem for Joe Biden.

That idea has been trouble for President Donald Trump, because the modern-day writers of history tend to be leftists with an ax to grind against anything resembling conservative values and America First principles. But the usual corporate media snakes that have covered Biden’s disastrous presidency as if he were competent are turning on him with a hefty dose of venom. They now have license to do so through the likes of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a special kind of weasel/snake hybrid Democrat who is now feeding his party’s accomplice media details about what we’ve long known about the unelectable Joe Biden. He’s doing it to save his political skin and, one could argue, his own position in history.

The New York senator who boldly insisted, “I’m with Joe” following Biden’s campaign-ending debate against Trump, is now telling the Democratic Party’s most reliable mouthpiece, The New York Times, that he had to beg Biden to back out of the race.

“If I were you, I wouldn’t run, and I’m urging you not to run,” Schumer reportedly told Biden on July 13 at the president’s Delaware beach house, as pressure mounted from a demoralized party for Biden to step aside before it was “too late.”

The tell-all piece laying out Democrats’ grave concerns about Biden’s fitness to serve comes as the demented old coot makes a most bitter exit from the presidency. The Schumer confessional comes some four years too late.

Ultimately, the Times’ exposé is an indictment of top Democrats like Schumer, who truly put party and power above country in propping up a cognitively diminished commander-in-chief they knew long before 2024 was unfit for the presidency. It’s an indictment, too, that played the part of shield to the detriment of national security. They should all be held accountable for their crimes.

‘The Untold Story’

The leftist authors of this better-late-than-never confession write that it is a “central piece of the untold story of how Mr. Schumer and congressional Democrats, who spent years batting away suggestions that Mr. Biden was too old and mentally frail to be president, ultimately led the effort to pressure him to step aside.”

They spent years battling the truth in the ultimate “disinformation” campaign. They let go of the lie when it no longer served them, when a Biden victory became absolutely untenable. By then, it was much too late.

Schumer, according to the Times, for months had been concerned Biden would lose to Trump. The lawfare and politically weaponized Justice Department that Schumer had wholeheartedly endorsed wasn’t destroying the Republican presidential candidate, it was only making him stronger. Schumer knew Biden was losing it, even if he insisted that he was still capable.

“During their weekly conversations, the president often rambled, but he had always rambled. Once in a while, Mr. Biden would forget why he had called, but Mr. Schumer thought little of it. He was convinced that Mr. Biden could handle the job,” the Times reported

But poor Chuck was “in a box,” the senator and the Times want you to know. If he signaled his concerns or brought up alternative candidates, the party’s growing division over Biden might leak out. Schumer, too, like others was afraid to confront the prickly president about the topic that ticked him off the most, that he was in no shape to drive a car, let alone serve another term. So Schumer decided to do nothing while a dementia patient was left in control of the country.

President Barack Obama, Biden’s former boss, knows better than anyone what a jerk his bumbling vice president was and is. And he knew for some time that old Joe was not presidential material.

“As days ticked by, Mr. Obama worried that Democrats were doing nothing. He told Mr. Schumer that he himself had a fragile relationship with his former vice president, who still carried a chip on his shoulder over Mr. Obama’s decision to support Hillary Clinton’s candidacy in 2016. Having urged him not to run back then, Mr. Obama told Mr. Schumer, he wasn’t sure if he was the best messenger to tell Mr. Biden to step aside now,” the Times reported.

In other words, Obama, the de facto leader of the Democrat Party, didn’t want to poke the bear. Schumer didn’t want to upset the grumpy old man, either, according to the Times piece. Very soon he would have little choice.

‘Two Neurologists’

Biden heard the rumblings. He — or someone signing his name — fired off a testy letter to congressional Dems, demanding they get behind him or get the hell out of the way.

“The question of how to move forward has been well aired for over a week now. And it’s time for it to end,” demanded the letter, which insisted Biden was “firmly committed to staying in the race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump.”

He would do none of those things.

Biden’s letter, not his clear signs of cognitive impairment, was a bridge too far for Democrats. They “seethed,” according to the Times. Schumer brought out the brass knuckles and told Biden campaign and White House advisers they’d better get to a meeting with his gang or the Democrat leader wouldn’t be able to hold them back anymore.

“You’re going to get half my caucus to sign a letter saying he should step down,” Schumer reportedly said.

The meeting took place on July 11. It was “grim,” according to the Times piece. Even Sen. Jack Reed, generally quiet unless beclowning himself at Senate confirmation hearings, needed proof of mental fitness in the form of two neurologists examining and issuing a report that the commander-in-chief was fit to serve. And then Biden would have to hold a press conference and take questions from “anyone,” Reed reportedly proposed.

‘One of the Darkest Figures’

The post-mortem of one of the biggest political party disasters in history follows other recent reports from a newspaper that did everything it could to shroud a disaster of a president. That is until leftist power brokers like George Clooney convinced the Times to think otherwise and serve as the voice of the silent coup that pushed out a president.

In his come-to-Stalin moment with Biden, Schumer delivered a stark warning.

“If you run and you lose to Trump, and we lose the Senate, and we don’t get back the House, that 50 years of amazing, beautiful work goes out the window,” the senator told the New York Times. “But worse — you go down in American history as one of the darkest figures.”

After Biden finally bowed out days later, Democrats and their dutiful friends in the accomplice press lauded him as the George Washington of his time. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who is widely credited as an author of the coup that replaced unlikable Joe Biden with arguably more unlikeable Vice President Kamala Harris on the ballot, suggested he should have his face chiseled on Mount Rushmore.

Pelosi knew. Schumer knew. Obama knew. Democrats who know Biden have known for a long time that he wasn’t fit to serve a first term let alone a second. Republicans knew it, too. Speaker Mike Johnson recently told Bari Weiss that he had a conversation with Biden a year ago about an executive order pausing liquefied natural gas exports. He said the president had no idea he had signed it.

“I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, ‘We’re in serious trouble. Who is running the country?’ Like, I didn’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know,” Johnson said.

Why he didn’t raise those concerns with Americans at the time, isn’t clear. He told Weiss that it’s a matter of public record now “because the Wall Street Journal got it and put it on the front page.”

If a majority of Americans didn’t know about Biden’s unfitness to serve in 2020, they certainly did in November 2024 — no thanks to the aiders and abettors of the most troubling cover-ups in U.S. history.

Schumer may be awful, but he is right. The 46th president will go down in American history “as one of the darkest figures.” Being forced out of his re-election bid by his power-consumed party will not change that fact. His administration perpetrated a laundry list of abuses on the constitutional republic, costing liberties, lives and an erosion of faith in our government that may never be restored. But Schumer and crew have a stake in Biden’s destructive legacy.

After years of complicity, the accomplice media is beginning to confess what we have suspected and what they have long known about Joe Biden. Now it can be told. The leftist press is suddenly free to write what really happened. The tell-all book deals are being signed. The phony narrative that was is being rewritten by long-time apologists.

And history will not be kind to Joe Biden.
