The Founding Fathers Were Geniuses

The Founding Fathers of the United States left behind a blueprint for a successful Republic for hundreds of years forward.

The U.S. is rapidly approaching its 250th birthday. What will its future be? There are many things that are in common between America and Judaism. One of them is the belief that a “founding document” is relevant for all times and circumstances. For religious Jews, the Torah—given on Mt. Sinai over 3,300 years ago—is considered a document as relevant today as it was on the day it was given. Torah scholars throughout the generations have been able to determine the place and relevance of cars, electric lights, drugs, meat alternatives and every other change and invention. The principles passed along from generation to generation have led modern rabbinic authorities to rule on issues surrounding Covid and the status of a cloned human being. For a religious Jew, the Torah will always be relevant for any age and any situation.

The same would hold true for the U.S. Constitution. Whereas many on the left discuss ditching or significantly modifying America’s founding documents, those on the right look to a government and its representatives that follows the Constitution as it exists. Freedom of speech and the right to bear arms mean exactly what they sound like, and it is not for the government or the courts to abridge God-given rights set by the Constitution and its amendments. But what if the U.S. did not have a Constitution or we heeded the left’s call to have a more “living” document that can be changed or dropped at the whim of the current generation?

One can often learn a great deal about somebody or something by looking at its opposite. If one only knew of the death and destruction wrought by the Nazis, he would conclude that those who fought them must be on the right side of justice. So, while America fought Britain in 1776 and separated herself from the king, other nations did no such things. Let’s look at some of the Anglo countries that stayed true to the monarchy and today are members of the British Commonwealth, though independent. Let’s take a look at Canada, Australia, New Zealand and even England itself.

*Canada. A beautiful country with very nice people. But its government can be draconian in its treatment of the people. One can easily recall the “truck convoy” protests and how anyone who even contributed to the truckers found his or her bank account frozen. Justin Trudeau rules as a Marxist tyrant and routinely rolls over the rights of the people in the name of some leftwing goal. Canadians were heavily put upon by their government during Covid, and Trudeau’s collapsing government hopefully signals that some normalcy might return to our northern neighbor.

*Australia. Down under, they took away the people’s guns. As I wrote earlier this week, they are not giving visas to any Israeli who served in the IDF. Antisemitism is on the rise, with a synagogue in Melbourne being recently torched. The first city to have “death to the Jews” heard during the pro-Hamas rallies in October 2023 was Sydney. Australians, like Canadians, learned during Covid that their rights are given by the government—and taken away by the same when it suits the ruling party’s interests.

*New Zealand. The country may have been the most extreme during Covid. Its batty prime minister demanded no deaths and not even any infections. The country was effectively shut down and cut off from the world for extended periods of time during the pandemic. The prime minister is gone but the country remains less free by every metric than is the U.S.

*Britain. The country from which we gained our freedom has been transformed into something that not even Orwell would have recognized. Pro-Hamas goons demand the death of all Israelis, while the cops arrest some guy standing on the side while holding an Israeli flag. Old Brits are arrested for writing on Facebook that they do not want Palestinian flags flying all over the place. England has decided that its citizens’ freedoms are up to the whim of the government. If you say something or post something that falls afoul of some minister for thought control, you might be dragged off to jail by a couple of England’s finest.

We often do not appreciate the wisdom of our elders. As time passes since my parents left this world, I often find myself appreciating the wisdom they passed along or the way that they brought us up. And when looking at the U.S. compared to the countries that did not make a revolution against England, one should be grateful that we have the U.S. Constitution. Those countries also have their founding documents, but the American founding fathers described an American’s rights as being God-given and thus inviolable. In Canada, you can have a bank account until you run afoul of the authorities. In New Zealand, you might have a crazed prime minister who will keep you locked in your house because she does not know that risk analysis also has a second side, like a job or business or school or personal health and sanity. In England, your Facebook account has a new friend: His Majesty’s Nudnik. His job is to make sure that even in your own private communications you bend the knee to the left-leaning spirit of the time. Sure, the pro-Hamas guys are beating people in the streets. But woe to he who dares to criticize them online. You are worse than an IRA terrorist.

The American left would love to monitor online chatter a la England, as it tried to do through its Orwellian “Disinformation Office.” They’d love to follow Australia and scoop up the guns so that the Second Amendment remains just words on parchment. They emulated New Zealand when a lone surfer was chased by the police on an empty California beach during the pandemic—whom could she hurt? Nobody, but she was violating the dictate of the state—and that alone is punishable. And like Canada, they would love to dilute the Supreme Court and banish the filibuster so that the president from their party would act as a veritable dictator over the citizens turned peasants. When the left looks at the other former British properties, they see a road map. When the right sees arrests for online speech and gun “buy-backs” in Australia, they see warning lights. The Founding Fathers were looking way down field when they set up the basic intellectual and legal framework for the US. It’s a fragile Republic—if you can keep it. Let’s keep America going in the spirit of those who set the country on its way. 250 years young and still going.

Is Barack Obama Guilty of Mass Murder and Treason?

As Barack Obama slowly fades from the landscape, let’s consider how he has helped to destroy Western civilization, especially the United States of America. He did this via his fealty to Iran, which allowed unchecked, deadly drug trafficking into America while giving Iran the time, space, and funds to develop its nuclear weapons.

The Obama Administration killed hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing the Iran-founded and funded terrorist organization Hezbollah to operate in the Western Hemisphere, where it built a narco-terror network that shipped illegal drugs into this country. The is now below our southern border, something obvious :

Over the last several years Hezbollah and its patrons in Iran have greatly expanded their operations in Latin America to the detriment of inter-American security and U.S. strategic interests. Today, Hezbollah is using the Western Hemisphere as a staging ground, fundraising center, and operational base to wage asymmetric warfare against the United States. Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez and other anti-American governments in the region have facilitated this expansion by rolling out the welcome mats for Hezbollah and Iran.

Thirteen years ago, it was estimated that Iran/Hezbollah was to Middle East terrorists. By 2017, that number was believed to be $1 billion or double the 2011 take. Their profits were derived from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering, and other criminal activities.

Beginning in 2008 and for the next eight years, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) ran Project Cassandra, an investigation into these activities. In 2017’s “,” Josh Meyer explained that the Obama administration interfered with an ultimately blocked the DEA’s efforts to neutralize these operations:

In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation.

[snip]

Over the next eight years, agents working out of a top-secret DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, used wiretaps, undercover operations and informants to map Hezbollah’s illicit networks, with the help of 30 U.S. and foreign security agencies.

They followed cocaine shipments, some from Latin America to West Africa and on to Europe and the Middle East, and others through Venezuela and Mexico to the United States. They tracked the river of dirty cash as it was laundered by, among other tactics, buying American used cars and shipping them to Africa. And with the help of some key cooperating witnesses, the agents traced the conspiracy, they believed, to the innermost circle of Hezbollah and its state sponsors in Iran.

After all this effort, though, Obama’s Justice Department declined to prosecute major players. For example, Hezbollah’s envoy to Iran, a Lebanese bank that laundered billions in drug money and that was a central figure in a U.S.-based cell of the Iranian Quds force, got a pass.

If you read the 65-page report highlighted in the Politico article, you can readily understand that the United States missed a great opportunity to either dismantle Hezbollah’s Western Hemisphere operations or dramatically curtail them. The reason for America’s passivity was Obama’s 2015 Iranian nuclear deal, the real purpose of which was to pad the President’s resume with a fake foreign policy achievement and threaten Israel.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans died from drug overdoses because the Obama administration freed Hezbollah to operate, which it now does in conjunction with Mexican cartels and China. In my opinion, this was willful mass murder, which President Barack Obama sanctioned.

The reality, which Obama may or may not have recognized, is that Iran is our enemy. Its leaders have repeatedly called for our destruction. In 2023, the Tehran leadership announced, “Death to America is not a slogan. It is policy.”

Iran and its proxies have attacked and killed American soldiers and citizens of our ally, Israel, and interfered with the world’s shipping, undermining Western economies. We should never forget how Iran’s revolutionaries held and tortured 53 American hostages at our embassy in Tehran from 1979-1981. We should never forget that Hezbollah killed 241 American troops killed in 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. Allowing Iran to profit from illegal drug trafficking that has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans should be impermissible, even for a theoretical “higher purpose.”

And of course, it was all for nothing. Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, “the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action,” which included the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, France, China, Germany, and the European Union, was as likely to succeed as Bill Clinton’s 1994 Agreed Framework with North Korea to forestall their nuclear ambitions. (Clinton’s deal failed completely when North Korea was discovered to have been cheating for an unknown number of years.) Both deals were padding for resumes and for public consumption. Both deals had ten-year durations with partners who could not be trusted not to cheat.

History shows that Iran was cheating from day one and the deal was never worth the paper it was printed on. Unfortunately, as part of the sham agreement, Iran received $150 billion to renew and expand its terror program.

Daniel Greenfield summed up the problem of negotiating with terrorists:

Offering to negotiate with Islamic terrorists is a statement of weakness. Jihadists only offer to negotiate out of fear, weakness or to entrap us and assume we do the same.

[snip]

Western liberals believe that peace will be achieved when all the wars end, but peace in the Muslim world is not a permanent state, rather it is a temporary truce in an endless war.

In effect, what Clinton and Obama did, respective, was to give the North Koreans and Iranians space to develop nuclear weapons. These deals were corrupt betrayed the American people.

The truth is that when dealing with Islam, you can only have a civilized discussion if they know you have the bigger stick.

At the end of the day, what crime did Barack Obama commit? Treason:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000 and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

He entered into an agreement he knew would never last and that Iran would quite obviously use as time, room, and money to go nuclear. He aided the funding by allowing Hezbollah’s narco-terror campaign in this hemisphere to be left untouched, a decision that effectively killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. The money that Iran received from having its assets unfrozen and its drug-dealing unchecked enhanced Iran’s ability to expand and export its terror operations, destabilizing the Middle East and beyond and allowing it to try to destroy our best ally, Israel.

In my view, former President Barack Obama is guilty of treason and should be held accountable.

The Democrat Trump-Musk Feud Strategy

It has been a triumphant phase for the MAGA movement. President Trump won a landslide electoral victory last month. The bogus cases against him, which were part of the establishment's attempts to outlaw political opposition, appear to be winding down. Trump had a triumphant return to the global stage during the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. He effectively won a case against vicious slander by ABC News and George Stephanopoulos which compelled the outlet to initiate a settlement payment of $15 million. Gorgeous George himself had to pony up $1 million. Trump won Time magazine's Person of the Year, which meant a lot to him and his supporters. Trump secured a $100 billion investment from the Japan-based SoftBank Group Corp which will create 100,000 U.S. jobs, doubtlessly encouraging other investors.

Hamas has expressed intentions to end the conflict with Israel. Canada announced new border security rules to avoid a 25% tariff after Trump threatened them. Trump was in command during his recent presser which sent a signal globally that the U.S. is back.

Elon Musk was an important ally in Trump's massive victory last month. Musk joined the Trump campaign after being impressed by Trump's exemplary bravery and defiance following the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Musk made X a free-speech platform, preventing the Democrats from manipulating the narrative on social media as they did in 2020. This time the public had access to all information and the lies were with 'community noted.'

Trump announced that Musk and Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a watchdog focused on cutting wasteful government spending and reducing bureaucratic impediments.

To sum it up, President Trump has had a triumphant start even before being sworn in. He seems on track to be delivering key campaign promises. DOGE is already on the job, both Musk and Ramaswamy have been vocal about the scandalous recent 1500-page spending bill.

The D.C. swamp could render DOGE irrelevant by preemptively mending its ways, but will not, because its existence is based on corruption and government excesses.

The swamp dwellers are now in a quandary. They know that they cannot misuse agencies to target Trump as they did before. Their media proxies aren't going to engage in blatant lies, after the ABC settlement. They desperately need to derail this Trump train.

So what do they do?

They resort to petty ploys. Following Trump's victory there were memes by some Democrat proxies that Musk was the new first lady. In time they attempted to suggest Musk was the equivalent of Vice President and that Vance was sidelined.

But neither of these had any impact.

Now they are pushing another hoax -- that Musk is the President and Trump is the Vice President. This is similar to the Trump-Russia collusion hoax where they attempted to credit Putin for Trump's amazing victory in 2016 and suggested that Putin was in charge. This time around, Putin has been replaced with Musk.

The usual hoaxers KinzingerSanders, the Lincoln ProjectDemocrat representatives, etc. are pushing this falsehood.

Democrats allies are posting memes depicting Trump as subservient to Musk. USA Today, the WaPoMSNBC, and CNN are also pushing this hoax.

This divide-and-rule tactic has been used throughout history to overcome seemingly invincible enemies. It may appear petty but it can be effective and it doesn't cost anything. All one has to do is sow seeds of division.

This is depicted in Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece Yojimbo and its remake A Fistful of Dollars with Clint Eastwood. They are hoping that the constant bombardment of this narrative will enrage Trump. They are also hoping it will color his judgment about Musk, if he finds a comment or a Tweet that appears to be a difference of opinion, Trump will interpret it as an act of defiance. They are also hoping that Musk will succumb to the flattery and think of himself as a puppet master and make a display of it on X.

The main goal is to cause a massive feud which will lead to Musk's sacking and the dismantling of DOGE. Many Democrat proxies are openly declaring this on X. They are hoping that the rift will make Musk one of Trump's worst adversaries and that they will engage in a vicious war of words on social media.

In subsequent days, expect mainstream news outlets to use unnamed sources to declare a battle royale between Musk and Trump.

We will learn of 'sources' claiming that Musk ridiculed Trump among friends. 'Sources' will claim Trump is furious with the President Musk hoax and told allies he will 'kick Musk the f---k out of Mar-a-Lago and banish his a—forever.' In the coming weeks, months, and years both Musk and Trump have to be careful.

Musk must understand that Trump is the founder and will always be the leader of the MAGA movement. He was a great support and an ally. But it was Trump who won.

During the early 80s, rock superstar Sting's manager Miles Copeland revealed that his primary job was to keep the egos of his Police bandmates in check. He said bandmates would complain they had better ideas than Sting and he had to remind them that if Sting dropped out, the concert would be canceled. But if any bandmate quit, he would be replaced and nobody would notice.

Musk is a guitarist in the MAGA band, but Trump is the lead. Musk is a valuable bandmate, as is Lara Trump, Dan Scavino, Susie Wiles, Dana White, Vivek Ramaswamy, etc.

While exercising his opinions Musk must be clear that he reports to Trump in DOGE. Musk must not be seen to defy Trump in any way. Musk is accustomed to being the boss and doing as he pleases, and he will have to exercise restraint given this new role.

To be clear, Musk hasn't shown any disloyalty or defiance toward President Trump. There is also no indication that Musk is behind this hoax. Musk even praised Trump in a recent tweet.

Trump too must exercise caution while reacting to this hoax. During future pressers, he will likely be bombarded with questions about 'President Musk.' It would be a good idea to ridicule this premise without an answer while expressing support for Musk.

Trump, Musk, and the rest must remember that they thoroughly vanquished the Democrats last month.

The Democrats have nothing to offer but lies, petty ploys, and hoaxes.

Hopefully, everyone will remember a lesson that history frequently teaches us -- to be victorious, total unity is essential.

Who Is Going to Replace JD Vance In the Senate?

Sarah Arnold reporting for Townhall

With former Sen. JD Vance's (R-OH) vice presidential win, a new political figure will have the opportunity to step into the spotlight and represent Ohio in Washington. The race to fill the open seat has become an anticipated contest, with potential candidates from both major parties vying for the chance to succeed Vance.

Republican Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently paid a visit to President-elect Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home with as rumors speculate he is the top candidate to fill the position.

According to state law, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) must appoint a Republican to fill Vance’s Senate seat until a special election is held in November 2026 to determine who will serve the remainder of Vance’s term, which ends in 2028. The winner of that election can then choose to run again that year for a new six-year term.

Other candidates DeWine is considering for the position include Rep. Mike Carey (R-OH), who has been endorsed by Trump three times.

Carey said tht Trump "needs somebody in the Senate that will make sure that we get his agenda through.” Similarly, the president-elect said that Vance’s replacement in the senate needs to be ready to begin implementing his agenda on day one of his new term.

The Ohio representative said he would be honored to serve as a senator under Trump’s administration, echoing remarks by the incoming president.

“I think you need to have somebody that's able to start on Day One, hit the ground running as a U.S. senator," Carey said. "You don't want to have somebody coming in from the great state of Ohio who has to be on the job training. And so we've had a track record of success here in the, you know, in the 15th Congressional District. I can easily parlay that into the Senate."

DeWine must choose a new senate appointment soon, as the new Congress will be sworn in on Jan. 3. He said that whoever he chooses to fill the seat will need to be a “workhorse" and is "qualified and ready to earn the trust of Ohio voters for another term."

Parting Shots: Biden Regime May Try to Hamper Trump's Deportation Agenda

Ward Clark reporting for Redstate

During the entire 2024 presidential campaign, candidate and now President-elect Donald Trump made no bones about his plans for people illegally in the United States: He pledged to deport them, troublemakers first, and to that end, he has named Tom "The Hammer" Homan as the new "border czar" to replace Kamala Harris, who was more of a "border no-show."

This plan met with resistance from Democrats, of course. In the latest example of such resistance, the outgoing Biden administration is mulling over throwing some roadblocks at the incoming administration's deportation plans.

The Biden administration is considering extending protections for hundreds of thousands of immigrants whose status in the United States is set to expire in the first months of the Trump administration, according to U.S. officials and documents viewed by The New York Times.

The move would make it harder, though not impossible, for President-elect Donald J. Trump to deport those people. But it is a sign that the Biden administration could try, in its final weeks, to build some obstacles to what Mr. Trump has promised will be the biggest deportation in U.S. history.

Note, mind you, the weasel language: They are "considering" extending protections. This wouldn't be the first time the New York Times has floated a trial balloon on behalf of the Democratic Party.

And the thing is, if they do this, it may be harder to counter than we'd like to think.

Mr. Trump tried to get rid of the program during his first term and his advisers have made clear that he will try again as part of a broad crackdown on legal and illegal immigration. If President Biden were to extend T.P.S., even for a relatively narrow group of people, Mr. Trump would either have to wait for the protections to expire, or cut them off early — something that would almost certainly be challenged in court.

Note that illegal immigration was a significant issue in the 2024 elections, more so for Republicans than Democrats, but in the top ten overall. This may be the reason that the Biden administration is just "considering" this move.

Even so, if you look at this from the Biden administration's point of view - and by "the Biden administration's staffers or whoever is really in charge," as day by day we learn that poor, befuddled old Joe is in worse shape than even we thought - there's nothing to lose by making the Trump deportation efforts more difficult. The incoming administration, in this effort, will be focusing first on known criminals and gang members, and that's as it should be; priorities should be on lofting bad actors out of our country, and if anyone's wondering where to start looking for them, I could point you to a few apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado for a start.

Granted, this program has the potential to affect about a million people, and the odds are that most of them aren't going to be on that high-priority deportation list. If the Biden administration tries this, there may not be an easy counter, sure; that won't stop Donald Trump and Tom "The Hammer" Homan from kicking the job off by rounding up known gang members and criminals for their one-way trip back to their countries of origin.

Weaponization Subcommittee Releases 17,000 Page Report Outlining Obama/Biden Weaponization of Government

The House Subcommittee on the weaponization of government has issued a massive 17,000-page series of staff reports documenting the Obama/Biden weaponization of government.

While many of the findings are not going to be a surprise to CTH readers, the details and emails cited in the report are substantial.

EXAMPLE: A redacted Facebook executive spilled the beans in an email about a call with DHS, saying: “DHS cannot openly endorse the portal.”

EXAMPLE: • Alex Stamos of the Stanford Internet Observatory emailed NextDoor executives: “We already have partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, and Google, and we would love to chat with you and your team.”

The massive documentary report is broken down into four segments [Available Here].  It is going to take some time to go through all of the reports and extract the critical components.  If you would like to take a review, the four-segment links are below:

Read part one of the final staff report here.

Read part two of the final staff report here.

Read part three of the final staff report here.

Read part four of the final staff report here.

At its core, the Obama era weaponization of government was the motive for the entire Obama team selecting Joe Biden as the 2020 candidate who gave them the best option for controlling and concealing the activity they undertook during the tenure of Barack Obama.

Biden was the avatar giving the Obama control operatives time to continue covering for all their previous action.

The latter part of 2010 through 2011 was a key period in the Obama presidency.  On the cusp of a midterm election shellacking, with domestic focus on the issues around Obamacare, the Obama team and Hillary Clinton team were also intent on fueling the “Arab Spring” and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya and Egypt.

With background research provided by the U.S. State Dept and Rivkin Project in France, a petri-dish dish experiment to see if French culture could be diluted and enhanced with “brotherhood-style” multiculturalism, Hillary and Barry then fine-tuned the mechanics.  Secretary Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power and Susan Rice quickly convinced President Obama to help leverage his Silicon Valley allies.

As a workaround to stop Hosni Mubarak and Muamar Kaddafi from controlling information flow and putting down the protests, the social media platforms of Twitter and Facebook were enlisted to assist the Brotherhood in Egypt and Libya respectively.  The U.S-designated Brotherhood partners were given support, communication and influence through Twitter and Facebook to organize their protests.

In 2011 the official merge of U.S. social media platforms to assist the U.S. State Dept foreign policy agenda was created.  In many ways this merge was the inflection point for government to begin controlling social media, Libya and Egypt were the BETA test for what would later be deployed domestically.

Seeing the success and influence of the Arab Spring experiment, in 2012 President Obama signed HR-5736, with an addition to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013.  The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, contained within the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2013, eased some restrictions so that media produced by the U.S. Agency for Global Media and intended for foreign audiences could be distributed domestically upon request, according to its text. Prior to its passage, the propaganda content was banned from being disseminated in America.

This move made it possible to deploy the same social media tactics domestically.  Within the Twitter Files, you will note how 2012 and 2013 are key periods when the Dept of Homeland Security began exploring their new influence partnership in social media.   For the next ten years, that partnership created various sub-set silos within the government.

DHS, FBI and Intelligence Community offices now had direct communication lines into Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, WhatsAp, etc.  However, Telegram and TikTok were not around and not part of the partnership.  What two platforms have been targeted recently?… Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

The Arab Spring was the BETA test, the proving ground.  Then they went domestic with the same operation.

The results of the domestic operation, the public-private partnership, later became stunningly visible in the COVID-19 censorship operation as well as the government influence operation in the aftermath of the 2020 election.  However, most recently there has been some pushback from both originating entities; Twitter – via Elon Musk, and Facebook – via a regretful Mark Zuckerberg.

With increased scrutiny and a more awakened public seeing the consequences, it is harder for Main Justice, DHS and a weaponized intelligence community to execute their domestic propaganda operations.  Even the labeling and categorization through “mis-dis-mal-information” does not appear to be working.

Within a recent WEF discussion, Secretary Kerry outlined how freedom of speech is a ‘threat to the global democracy‘ because the governing officials have a difficult time controlling information.  Kerry goes on to posit how the next administration, he hoped at the time it would be Kamala Harris, would forcefully structure all the tools of government to stop Americans from using the first amendment to freely speak about issues.

Governing is too challenging, according to Kerry, when the government cannot stop people from seeking and discovering information that is against their interests.  Effective governing required compliant adherence to a singular ideology.

Against the backdrop of COVID-19 and a host of similarly related government narratives, if people are free to find alternative information and think for themselves, they become increasingly more difficult to control.  Yes, this is said quite openly.  This is the mindset of those in power.  WATCH:

On a positive note, millions of people now accurately understand why it is so important to refute the terms “mis-dis-mal information.”

When CTH initially warned about the labeling, most people did not understand; however, as the consequences surfaced, I would argue a majority of people now understand.

…”There is no such thing as “disinformation” or “misinformation”.  There is only information you accept and information you do not accept.  You were not born with a requirement to believe everything you are told; rather, you were born with a brain that allows you to process the information you receive and make independent decisions.”…

They lost the election.

They lost control.

The absence of control creates fear.

When fearful people become desperate, we get the outcomes visible since the election victory by President Donald Trump.  The hunters now fear they will be hunted; hence, preemptive pardon discussions are rampant.
