Why Are Politicians So Weak?

Why are politicians so weak?  Remember last year when we were all waiting for the Republican-led House of Representatives to (justifiably) impeach Joe Biden and investigate the Biden crime family?  It never happened, and we know why—Republicans are largely squish.  Democrats seem able to do things like that, but then, the best defense is a good offense.  The utterly corrupt Democrats must do it to protect themselves.

I was having lunch with a friend recently.  “The Republicans need to indict Mayorkas and Garland next year,” he said. And I told him, “It will never happen.  The Republicans are too weak, too cowardly to do that, especially with the RINO leadership they have in the House and Senate.”  My friend reluctantly agreed with me.  “Yeah, you’re right, they won’t.” With nothing to lose anymore, Joe Biden pardoned his criminal son of all offenses.  There’ll be no blowback on Joe, no price to pay, so there was no reason not to.  I’m going to be some kind of mad if Donald Trump doesn’t pardon every J6 “offender” on January 20.  I think he will, or soon after that.

But, by and large, politicians are weak creatures because they are afraid of offending too many people.  And it is all because their first concern—every politician’s—is power.  They love it.  They worship it.  They lust for it.  They live for it. They’ll do anything they can to get it and hold onto it.  And if that means compromising justice, the law, and the well-being of the people, they’ll do it.  They are weak; they will sacrifice virtue and character for any disgusting cause, and they are rarely strong enough to stand up and defend what is truly noble, righteous, and virtuous.

If they can have power and help people, too, well and good, and occasionally those two things do coincide.  Occasionally. But if there is a conflict between power and the welfare of the people, 99.9% of the time, they’ll ransom the people to keep their selfish grip on power.  That is true all through history.  And our beloved government is no different than any other in that regard.  Politicians are the scourge of the earth and always have been.

Doing the right thing isn’t difficult.  Well, let me amend that.  Knowing the right thing to do isn’t difficult.  Through his word and natural law, God has told us what is right and wrong, and politicians should follow the right and point the people in that direction.  True leaders WILL do that.  Finding such leaders has been difficult from time immemorial.

You see, a virtuous populous won’t need politicians very much.  And, to power-craving politicians (a redundancy), that is a serious conundrum.  “If all men were angels, we wouldn’t need government,” James Madison said.  So, it is in the supreme interest of politicians to make sure that all men are NOT angels and never get close, at least not on this earth. Being “wanted” and “needed,” which leads to having power over others, is a temptation that no politician can resist.  Thus, they deliberately create and stir up as many “crises” and as much chaos as possible so that the government—they—can step in and provide the “solutions.”  It makes them feel good about themselves; it makes them feel morally superior to others, that they are “doing” something.  It feeds their monumental egos.  And what they usually end up doing is making things worse.  It takes a person of extremely weak moral character to act like that.  Politicians are weak, which is why they rarely do the right thing.

How many problems have politicians, worldwide and in America, really solved in the past few generations?  Have they ended wars, or are they responsible for starting them?  How many trillions of dollars have been spent since Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” and “War on Poverty” began?  Has poverty ended through these efforts of politicians? Have our beloved elected representatives ended racism?  Have they cured it?  Hardly.  Indeed, they are the ones shouting the loudest about its continued existence.  And believe me, they WANT it to continue.  You wouldn’t need them otherwise.

Do these people really, really believe they can change the earth’s climate, and how many hardships have they caused hard-working, struggling citizens in their vain attempt to do so?  How much money have they wasted on it?  Have they lessened crime, strengthened the family, reduced illegitimacy, improved America’s education system, and protected the country from illegal invasion?  Have American politicians shaped a country with more virtue and righteousness that is safer for its citizens?  I’m thinking very hard, trying to come up with ONE major success they’ve had.  They ARE good at one thing—politicians are very good at killing people, which is one of the major goals of the Marxist, communist, socialist, globalist, utopian, atheistic Leftists, at least given their history.

If they even know what is right—which many of them obviously do not—then it is quite apparent they lack the strength of character, the personal moral fortitude, and the godly virtue to do it.  They are puny people.  They love power, and only weak people with inferiority complexes love to exercise power over others.

And we give it to them.  We feed their childish little egos by exalting them every night on the news, giving them the audience and attention their bottomless selfishness craves, and turning to them as the only “solution” to our country’s ill.  They aren’t the solution, folks.  More often than not, they are the problem and usually worsen things. Isn’t it interesting that, as the American government has grown, we have seen an increasing decadence in the nation and its moral character?  That isn’t coincidental.

The light is in our hands if we’ll only look at it.  But most people don’t, and no politician.

Reagan Revolution 2.0: Burying Communism for Good

It’s always been a perennial lie of the political left to falsely claim they’re all about fresh ideas, bringing in “new” winds of change, and that communism has never really been tried before.  Anyone with a passing familiarity with history knows that’s a colossal pile of B.S., but if they can bluff their way along, they can hawk their societal slavery once again.  The strains of collectivist control of the economy were in the cards in the last election, and if they had won, they would be crowing about how we’re all commies now.

Thankfully they lost, and they lost “bigly,” given the long odds with the national socialist media and every leftist celebrity on their side, so now is the time to take a good hard look at the damage their genocidal dreams have wrought upon humanity over 400 years and finally declare enough is enough.  It’s time to make the case for burying these collective ideologies for good.

Our headline harkens back to the 1980s; back then it was President Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher setting the communism of the old USSR and the Warsaw Pact on a path of destruction.  The problem is that like roaches after atomic testing, leftists will come back propagandizing that the same ancient ideas are brand spanking new, untried, and untested, so there’s a good chance they’ll “work” this time even though they’ve failed, untold times before.  Recall the Cold War boast of Nikita Khrushchev from 1956: “Whether you like it or not. History is on our side. We will bury you!”

We now know that history isn’t on their side, we also know that there is a very high cost to humanity with their Utopian fantasies.  Fantasies that can never work, but always end with a mountain of corpses.

If there is one common thread running through collectivist thought down through the millennia, it’s an upper-crust, self-styled intellectual authority class that appears to think it knows better than the rest of humanity, and thus should rule over them.  Thus, this intellectual authority class develops collectivist systems to control everyone else and bring about a perfect Utopia — at least, that’s been the sales pitch for the past 2,000 years.

These communist concepts were discussed in Plato’s Republic, composed sometime between 380 to 350 BC, or approximately 2,400 years ago.  These concepts were referred to in the 1516 publication Utopia, with the concept of a socialist society appearing 300 years before Karl Marx.

We can skip ahead in time to the early 20th Century when leftists didn’t understand why the “proletariat” around the world didn’t follow the lead of the revolting Bolsheviks.  They didn’t understand why the people rejected what they were offering them. Why didn’t Europe accept Nazism? Why didn’t the people want the intellectuals of the Khmer Rouge who had spent time in elite Parisian universities and written doctoral dissertations about how great socialism is?

We saw this in the last election with whole swaths of groups who were normally the target of leftist vote-buying efforts, voting instead for President-Elect Donald Trump.  Finally, we saw an example from today in which Fidel’s grandson Sandro Castro angrily defends his right to party like a rockstar — the epitome of the far-left communist ruling class.

The far-left authoritarian ruling class always wants to impose its collectivist ideologies (communism, fascism, socialism, etc.) upon the people and rule with an iron fist — for their own good, of course.  Remember, these are people who pretend to be for “progress” with concepts that are over 2,000 years old.  How exactly is that progressive?

The natural response from some will be that the people should be free to make this choice.  Except that, we know from experience, leftists are liars.  Again, their perennial favorite is that ‘communism has never really been tried before’ (or some variation thereof).  This deprives the people of that choice because they aren’t fully informed of the situation.

The left also uses force to impose their collectivist ideologies, taking the question of choice out of the equation.  The fiction of “democratic” socialism quickly devolves into mob rule, negating any further decision-making abilities on the part of the people.

There are numerous reasons to bury communism for good and see economic liberty flourish around the world.  Countries based on economic freedom aren’t aggressive toward each other, making for a much more stable planet.  Economic liberty always favors a clean environment along with protecting common sense human rights.  Can any of the collectivist countries even get close to offering those benefits?

We’re limited in space, so we’ll outline the primary reason these hideous collectivist ideologies need to go away and be shunned for all eternity.  One reason that distinguishes the collectivist authoritarian abominations from the individual liberty-based, economic liberty systems.  And it’s that collectivist systems require force (and its mental equivalent — lies) to operate.

Force is the primary differentiating factor between communistic (or whatever) systems and those based on economic liberty.  It's the only way those systems can work, and it’s the reason they need to finally be on the ash heap of history.  Because in the 400 years of failure from the concepts that ‘have never really been tried before’ billions of people have been oppressed, and untold millions (we know that at least over 100 million) have been thrown into cattle cars, shipped to concentration camps and gulags, and murdered.

It's been 400 years of running the same experiment on something that “has never really been tried before” — over and over, in every country, and under every possible condition, and it’s failed to work every time.  The result has been misery and mass murder.  Experiments where a country has been divided, with economic liberty on one side, and socialistic slavery on the other.  Where you could easily see which side was free by looking at which side of the wall had graffiti, and which side had anti-personnel mines with trip wires so sensitive that they needed an extra wire so birds wouldn’t set them off.

It’s more than obvious that we must be rid of these ideologies, humanity can no longer afford their cost in lives and liberty.

In Secret Meeting, Xi Jinping Ordered New Strategy to Attack Falun Gong Globally

Too many images ... I cannot copy and Paste...

In October 2022, Chinese leader Xi Jinping held a secret meeting instructing top state officials—overseeing political, intelligence, and influence operations—on a new strategy to target the Falun Gong religious group internationally, The Epoch Times has learned.

At the core of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s new anti-Falun Gong strategy is launching disinformation campaigns via social media influencers and Western media outlets; and using the American legal system to go after companies started by Falun Gong practitioners.

Details of the 2022 secret meeting were provided by Yuan Hongbing, a Chinese legal scholar living in exile in Australia who has maintained connections within China’s top political circles. His account is based on information he received from two sources: an individual from a veteran CCP family, who now opposes Xi; and an insider with knowledge speaking out for reasons of conscience.

Conrad Black: Biden about to be relegated to the dustbin of history where he belongs

Most of the current international problems in the world are directly traceable to the vacuous ineptitude of the superpower.

Despite the remarkable development story of China, there is only one superpower and for the past four years the United States has been somnambulating through a nightmare of millions of desperate illegal immigrants streaming across the border.

Despite warnings even from his own supporters, the senescent outgoing president poured gasoline on the fires of inflation and allowed the United States to fall behind China and Russia in the development of hypersonic weapons (though it remains in other respects the world’s greatest military power — that couldn’t be so quickly squandered). U.S. President Joe Biden’s ambiguity about Russian designs on Ukraine was an invitation for a Russian invasion and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, who should have been court martialed for incompetence and insubordination, confidently told lawmakers that the Russians would capture Kyiv within a few days.

President Biden graciously offered the Ukrainian president and his family asylum, and when it became clear that Ukraine was going to resist Russia seriously, he promised to support Ukrainians for “as long as it takes,” without ever providing the necessary weapons or approving rules of engagement that could bring the conflict to a relatively swift and satisfactory end. There has never been an exit strategy, except to assure that Ukraine is armed but under-armed, so it can fight to the last Ukrainian.

The policy in Gaza has been dictated by a failed ambition to retain Jewish votes without losing Islamic votes in the recent election. The formula has been the coy bromide that “Israel has a right to defend itself,” which is defined in practice as meaning that it can expel the barbarous Hamas invaders who inflicted the greatest Jewish bloodbath since the liberation of the Nazi death camps, but cannot take comprehensive countermeasures against the Hamas terrorist organization itself. Israel was not engaging in a tit-for-tat response following a border incident; it has been making war after enduring what was — and was intended to be — a clear act of war.

The Biden formula, mindlessly endorsed by the Canadian government and many others, is a recipe for the continuous resupply of Hamas and the endless provocation of Israel by terrorists who have made it clear that they will never accept the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state.

While the United States election last month was reasonably close, it was also a decisive rejection of wokeness, racial atomization and collective self-hate on grounds of falsely perceived systemic racism, the green terror based on fears of planetary destruction unless fossil fuel use is terminated and a general moral abdication in favour of appeasing America’s enemies abroad and the domestic forces of lawless protest, theft and vandalism.

It is a delicious spectacle to see the advocates and apologists for the abdication of America from its rightful and long-held position as the premier nation in the world fumbling in confusion and denial, still babbling their malicious, ignorant nonsense of Trump-hate like Neanderthals who have wandered out of their caves into the modern world self-consciously mumbling their gibberish.

According to Shannon Gormley in the pathologically anti-American Toronto Star, Donald Trump “is an avowed racist, a proven rapist and a de facto Russian asset who calls for the use of force against migrants, women, sovereign states, political opponents and critics.” His proposed cabinet “is violent.… But that’s the least of it.… A full frontal attack on the United States Constitution” has been promised, and it  will “tear through American society with the inherent threat of violence.… Trump has mainstreamed misogyny.”

Trump-hate is in fact collapsing. Instead of the monster of Gormley’s imagination, he has emerged as a courageous underdog. Despite being greatly outspent in the late election and rabidly opposed by 95 per cent of the national political media (which has virtually committed suicide and Gormley is an example of it), and being subjected to an avalanche of perverted politicized prosecutions as the Justice Department has become an arm of the dirty tricks division of the Democratic National Committee, Trump has won a clear mandate in a fair and peaceful election to clean up the cesspool of American government and American declinism, institutional incompetence and official self-loathing. He is enjoying the normal honeymoon of an incoming president with an approval rating of nearly 55 per cent.

Joe Biden, as the most incompetent and corrupt American president in U.S. history blunders into history and dementia as the figurehead of an anti-American government and the genuine head of a third-rate crime family, he has violated his sanctimonious claptrap about no one being above the law by pardoning his son, largely to prevent being implicated himself in his shabby influence-peddling.

The civilized world will soon have good reason to rejoice that the vacuum in Washington has been filled. The war in Ukraine will end on a satisfactory basis very quickly: Russia has some historic rights that will be recognized by modest territorial acquests and Ukraine’s status as a legitimate sovereign state will be universally recognized, and Russia will gradually depart the potentially smothering embrace of China and recognize that the culture of Tolstoy and Tchaikovsky belongs in the West and not the Orient.

Iran will be prevented from becoming a nuclear military power and terrorists will cease to govern in Gaza, and Israel and Saudi Arabia will compose their few remaining differences. There will be no more talk of Chinese strangulation of Taiwan, or of China surpassing the U.S. economically, than there is now that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. The dust-bin of history will overflow.

Flummoxed by Trump’s Victory, the Left Now Attempts To Torpedo His Cabinet Nominees

 Victor Davis Hanson

Trump’s point in naming outsiders is to insert reformers into a bloated, incompetent, and weaponized government who are not part of it.

Deflated by the resounding November defeat, the left now believes it can magically rebound by destroying President-elect Trump’s cabinet nominees.

Many of Trump’s picks are well outside the usual Washington, D.C./New York political, press, and corporate nexus.

Yet that is precisely the point — to insert reformers into a bloated, incompetent, and weaponized government who are not part of it.

Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, is already drawing severe criticism.

His furious enemies cannot go after his resume, since he has spent a lifetime in private, congressional, and executive billets, both in investigations and intelligence.

Instead, they claim he is too vindictive and does not reflect the ethos of the FBI.

Just what will Mr. Patel not do as the new director?

He will not serially lie under oath to federal investigators as did the interim FBI director, Andrew McCabe, a current critic of Mr. Patel.

He will not forge an FBI court affidavit, as did convicted felon and agency lawyer Kevin Clinesmith.

He will not claim amnesia 245 times under congressional oath to evade embarrassing admissions as did a former director, James Comey.

He will not partner with a foreign national to collect dirt and subvert a presidential campaign as the FBI did with Christopher Steele in 2016.

He will not use the FBI to draft social media to suppress news unfavorable to a presidential candidate on the eve of an election.

He would not have suppressed FBI knowledge that Hunter Biden’s laptop was genuine — to allow the lie to spread that it was “Russian disinformation” on the eve of the 2020 election.

He will not raid the home of an ex-president with SWAT teams, surveil Catholics, monitor parents at school board meetings, or go after pro-life peaceful protesters.

Decorated combat veteran Pete Hegseth is another controversial nominee for secretary of defense.

What will Mr. Hegseth likely not do?

Go AWOL without notifying the president of a serious medical procedure as did Secretary Austin?

Install race and gender criteria for promotion and mandate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training?

Insinuate falsely that cabals of white supremacists had infiltrated the military — only to alienate that entire demographic and thus ensure the Pentagon came up 40,000 recruits short?

Oversee the scramble from Kabul that saw $50 billion in U.S. military equipment abandoned to Taliban terrorists?

Watch passively as a Communist Chinese spy balloon traversed the continental United States for a week?

Allow the chairman of the Joint Chiefs to promise his Chinese communist counterpart that the People’s Liberation Army would first be informed if the President of the United States was felt to issue a dangerous order?

Rotate into the Pentagon from a defense contractor boardship and then leave office to rotate back there to leverage procurement decisions?

Oversee the Pentagon’s serial flunking of fiscal audits?

Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is certainly a maverick. He may earn the most Democratic hits, given his former liberal credentials.

Only what will Mr. Kennedy also not do as HHS secretary?

Oversee his agencies circumventing American law by transferring money to China to help it produce lethal gain-of-function viruses of the Covid sort — in the manner of Dr. Anthony Fauci?

Organize scientists to go after critics of mandatory masking and defame them?

Give pharmaceutical companies near-lifetime exemptions from legal jeopardy for rushing into production mRNA vaccines not traditionally vetted and tested?

Leave office to monetize his HHS expertise and thus make millions from the pharmaceutical companies?

Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, a former congressional representative and military veteran, Tulsi Gabbard, will soon be defamed in congressional hearings.

Yet what has Ms. Gabbard not done?

Joined “51 former intelligence authorities” to lie on the eve of the 2020 election that the Hunter Biden laptop “had all the hallmarks” of a Russian information/disinformation operation” — in an effort to swing the election to the incumbent, President Biden?

Lied under congressional oath like former a DNI, James Clapper, who claimed he only gave the “least untruthful answer” in congressional testimony?

Encourage the FBI to monitor a presidential campaign in efforts to discredit it — in the manner of the CIA director, John Brennan, who lied not once but twice under oath?

Fail to foresee the American meltdown at Kabul, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, or the Houthis’ takeover of the Red Sea?

We are going to hear some outrageous things in the upcoming congressional confirmation hearings.

Yet one thing we will not hear about are the crimes, deceptions, and utter incompetence of prior and current government grandees.

The current crew, not their proposed Trump replacements, prompted the sick and tired American people to demand different people.

Voters want novel approaches to reform a government that they not only no longer trust but also now deeply fear.

The True and Visible Mission of DOGE – What to Expect

I have been waiting for someone, anyone, to outline the reality of what the Dept of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is all about.  Unfortunately, perhaps due to the history of the matter, it appears no one really “gets it.”  So, with that in mind, and accepting that even the operators of DOGE may not have a fulsome comprehension of the dynamic, here is what it all means.

Few people realize the last Federal Budget that passed through “regular order” was for Fiscal Year 2008, signed by President George W Bush in September of 2007.  Every budget since has been outside regular order; a series of continuing resolutions, omnibus spending packages and short-term funding mechanisms.  {CITATION}

That is correct.  In the past 17 years, all federal spending has been ‘short-term’ or ‘stop-gap’ spending measures, generally known as “Continuing Resolutions,” where the govt (House and Senate) continue to perpetually resolve to fund the government.  The CRs as they are known, punt the spending debate by accepting a baseline of prior spending and tweaking around the edges.

The key takeaway to begin thinking about DOGE is to understand that REGULAR ORDER has not been used since Fiscal Year 2008.

Title III of the Congressional Budget Act outlines a legal timeline that each President and Congress must follow {SEE HERE}.  Prior to 2007, Continuing Resolutions were only used to resolve short term arguments about spending priorities.

♦ BACKGROUND – The President is required by law to submit his budget by the first Monday in February.  Yes, even when an election takes place and a President doesn’t assume office until January 20th, the first Monday in February is still the legal requirement for the new White House budget proposal.

The Presidents’ budget is then submitted to The House of Representatives, where two weeks later the Congressional Budget Office, reviews the budget and issues an opinion as to the cost of the budget.   No later than six weeks after the President submits his budget all House committees send the House Appropriations Committee their spending proposals [April 15].

Through May and June, each budgetary appropriations bill from the House is sent to the Senate.  The Senate receives the House appropriations bills, then reviews through the Senate Appropriations Committee (Thune just picked Susan Collins as Chair).  The Senate proposes their spending priorities based on the House bill because the House has constitutional authority to originate all spending [June 15].  The House and Senate budgets are “reconciled” using parliamentary procedures [June 30] and then sent to the President for signature.

The fiscal year begins October 1st.

That’s the regular order process.

Again, regular order has not been followed since Fiscal Year 2008, signed by George W Bush in September of 2007.

♦ The Problem – When congress doesn’t follow regular order they end up with a series of “continuing resolutions” (CRs) where spending is decided on a short-term basis because they don’t have an agreed budget.  The problem with CRs is what’s called “baseline budgeting” where all prior spending is the baseline for the continuation of spending proposals.  The baseline accepts all previous spending priorities, then adds to them with the new spending needs.

Baseline Budgeting means congress keeps spending on all historic programs regardless of merit or benefit.  All the prior spending just continues, and new spending is added.  That means when an omnibus spending package is created (instead of individual appropriations bills), all the previous government waste is baked into the cake, and the funds are spent again – regardless of need.

EXAMPLE – If congress funds a trillion-dollar Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), and then doesn’t follow regular order in the next year, the TARP funds spent become part of the baseline of spending.  The trillion-dollar TARP can be spent again, and again, and again, as each subsequent year of CRs continues unfolding.

Now, imagine what exists within the system of federal spending when most of the expenditures of the past 18 years are never filtered out.  Eighteen years of smaller, albeit not insignificant, amounts of money continually piled on top of each other.  Imagine what lays underneath all those layers and layers of unreviewed spending.  That’s where we are.

To be fair, the House of Representatives under Republicans did pass almost all of their individual spending bills this past year and sent them to the Senate.  However, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer just ignored the bills, put them on a shelf and awaited the govt funding problem to surface so that another CR debate could take place.

Now, you might ask yourself how this ridiculous system can be stopped or put into check.  Well, the mechanism to shut down this nonsense lays in the power of a Presidential Veto.

A President can veto a federal budget that he/she feels spends too much money and subsequently send that budget back to congress.  This is where politics comes into play because essentially if the funding runs out the Presidential veto is shutting down the government.

Again, this has been our reality for the past 18-years as congress blames the President and the President blames congress.  Each of them playing

Again, regular order has not been followed since Fiscal Year 2008, signed by George W Bush in September of 2007.  It’s been CR politics ever since.

♦ Now, along comes President Trump in term #2 which begins January 20, 2025.

As you start to think about DOGE, remember, in the background of the transition, using OMB Budget Director Russ Vought, the first Trump budget has been organized and will be submitted to the House of Representatives by the required legal day of February 1, 2025.

In part, it is transparently obvious why House Speaker Mike Johnson has been visiting Mar-a-Lago so much.  There is strategic budget planning afoot.

A Republican President Donald Trump is going to submit a “regular order” budget to a Republican controlled House.

The now Republican controlled Senate (John Thune) will be responsible for accepting each of the House Appropriations bills and responding accordingly to create a federal budget for Fiscal Year 2026.

I highly suspect President Trump is not going to accept another failed budget and yet another CR from a Republican House and Republican Senate.

The problem Trump faces is the Republicans will not want to be responsible for cutting out 18 years of fat from the spending process.  The democrats will wield the politics of these cuts in order to achieve electoral victory in the 2026 midterms….

…. Enter, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy and DOGE.

That looming regular order budget, and/or the looming veto if it is not followed, is the sum and total purpose of DOGE.

Can you see it now?

.

In essence, Elon Musk is assembling DOGE as the weapon needed to hold a UniParty congress accountable to deliver a regular order budget.

Yes, hundreds upon hundreds of billions, perhaps trillions, can be cut out of the budget if “regular order” is followed. Each committee in congress will have to submit their spending proposal to the House Budget and Appropriations Committee, while Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are reviewing each of those proposals and putting them on BLAST!

DOGE may start reinforcing rules within the federal government as controlled by the Executive Branch.  However, DOGE isn’t going to be going into federal agencies per se’, to cut their spending.  DOGE can just wait for the Fiscal Year 2026 spending proposals those agencies are legally required to submit congress to come to them, then review and BLAST any of the fat.

Through this process, the Executive Branch is not in constitutional conflict with the Legislative Branch.  Congress can accept and submit any spending proposal they want, but DOGE can outline it happening in real time and pour sunlight on to it.  This is why DOGE and a Republican Congress working together is more effective.

When you understand what I have outlined above, then what follows below from Representative Tim Burchett makes more sense.  WATCH:

Burchett is saying that congress will never cut that 18-years of CR fat out of the spending bills, no matter what they say.  That 18-years of CR fat is huge. Think of the scale of 18-years of layers of spending as a result of baseline budgets and CRs.

What Burchett is not fully absorbing, is how a VETO from President Trump is now framed against the visibility of the political BLAST that Musk can provide.

Can you see it now?

Last point. Perhaps, just perhaps, one of the people with strong familiarity of this issue, Matt Gaetz, is going to be a key player.

Maybe there was a reason no one else wrote this.

Love to all
