Trump has a Full Plate and Limited Time -- So a Charm Offensive Will Help

If you're a Trump supporter you know that there's no time to waste when it comes to accomplishing your goal of reintroducing Americans to their basic core values and to get the Left to believe the incoming administration when it says that making America great again is not just a cheap slogan.

There are now less than two years left before the 2026 midterm elections to make the course correction necessary to return American culture and the economy back to some semblance of stability. From there, the country can begin to heal itself.

If Republicans fail to assure the electorate that they are better off two years from now than they were when Trump took office then the Republican majority will be lost and with it the hopes and aspirations of the administration to accomplish its goals. It's just that simple.

Make no mistake, the expectations of those on the right are sky high right now, but we who are students of history know that absent any real successes in the coming 24 months, the majority in the House could well shift to the party out of power (this time the Democrats) as it has many times in recent memory with George W. Bush getting a "thumping," Barack Obama a "shellacking," Donald Trump with a "blue wave," and Joe Biden with a "red spurt."

There are no guarantees or absolutes in politics only educated guesses to probable outcomes, but America's midterms are generally the easiest elections to predict.

With that in mind, the Trump administration must marshall all of its efforts to hit the ground running  and make several important decisions and take critical important steps, simultaneously.

The first is bringing down the cost of energy (principally refined petroleum products), replenishing our depleted oil reserves, re-authorizing pipeline constrction and drilling permits, and encouraging the construction of new refineries.

We also must face the ugly fact that our energy grid needs replacing.

In addition, the U.S. must wean itself off the Democrat-led commitment to replace gasoline-powered vehicles with 100% electric cars.

Finally, the U.S. must threaten to exit the Paris Climate Accords given that the other members have not agreed to place tough limitations on the amount of pollutants that China and India are allowed to spew into the environment.

Protecting our border

America's Southern border must be made secure and quickly. Border Patrol agents must be free to detain any and all immigrants that have come across our border illegally. They must be returned to their home countries and told that if they wish to apply for asylum they can do so legally at U.S. embassies or if they choose to remain in Mexico they can apply at official U.S. points of entry.

Employers must be given notice that they have 120 days to clean up their workplaces and regularize the status of their employees and dismiss those without proper identification or permission to be in the U.S. or else face stiff penalties.

Sanctuary cities and states must lose their federal funding unless they allow ICE the information it requires to authenticate an alien's bona fides.

In addition, the Congress must take up a new, revised immigration bill that is vastly different from the one introduced by the Democrats under Joe Biden. A series of public hearings must be held well in advance of any bill leaving the House for the Senate.

Cleaning up the culture of government

Starting with the military, a thorough review of all mandatory "cultural" indoctrination now taking place must be done. All "woke" related DEI, CRT and similar conditioning of military personnel must cease. All requirements for attending such courses must be dropped and any servicemember who has been denied promotions or forced to retire for refusing to attend such courses must be reinstated and be placed in contention for the promotions they were disallowed or be permitted to reenlist and receive back pay from the time of their retirement. Any military officer that supports promotions or awards or better assignments based on sex or race quotas must be removed from his position.

The "deep state" attitude of slow-walking the implementation of presidential directives or purposely obstructing the use of those directives by creating onerous regulatory measures must be eliminated. Any federal employee found to be actively impeding such implementation must be reprimanded and in some cases, terminated. All departments of government have a sworn duty to be non-partisan and act, lawfully. None is above the law nor should any allow themselves to be "weaponized" and used against a sitting administration.

Incentivizing inward investment

Instead of immediately imposing excessive tariffs on imported goods, the administration should consider establishing a clear, reasonable and advantageous tax abatement program for U.S. companies that return a portion of their production back to the U.S. These incentives should also apply to foreign partnerships with other countries that could result in improving our exporting capabilities and assist in bringing down our trade deficit with specific countries.

A "renewing urban America" program should be created that provides for additional opportunity or enterprise zones for start-up companies in many of America's decaying urban areas where long-term unemployment has been traditionally high.

Poor health care is a disease in itself

America's health care industry is in shambles. Everyone knows it, especially the patients, but the health care providers have been particularly hard hit since the pandemic. Since the U.S. system is largely private, a commission must be set up to create a roadmap for making health care in America affordable and accessible that takes into consideration the contribution that the industry makes to America's bottom line (it represents about 17% of our gross domestic product). The only workable solution is to develop a system that does not bankrupt insurance companies, health care providers or the average citizen while guaranteeing care to all. Of all the immediate domestic issues facing Americans, this one stands out as the one affecting the largest number of people and must be addressed over the course of this coming administration.

How high is too high?

Inflation must come down and the rise of prices must not exceed Americans' ability to pay. Many citizens are making dangerous choices in order to stay afloat, economically. Some are foregoing their prescription medicine in order to buy their food and pay their rent. If the administration ignores inflation and does nothing to impede its upward progress, they will pay the price at the polls in 2026. Price controls don't work. We saw that under Richard Nixon.

Walking and chewing gum

The Trump administration has some tough choices to make, right from the start. But one choice is self-evident and must be implemented in tandem with the practical choices outlined above. It is that of engaging in a "charm offensive" (CO) to assure the American people that the government has their backs and that their votes in November are not being taken for granted. COs have long been used to smooth over mistakes that have been made and to calm the rough waters of an aggressive media. They have not traditionally been used as a preventative measure to strengthen bonds between groups or for bridging the ideological gaps between people. Anyone who's lived in the U.S. the last decade or so knows that these gaps are great and that our comity is a tragedy of American politics and that bringing people together who have been at each other's throats will require more than a simple P.R. campaign administered by a few spin doctors.

That's why the administration must reach out to Americans with an offensive that is more than a "feel good" effort to calm people's nerves and tempers. The new Trump CO must be carefully constructed for today's Americans. It must remind them that despite our many differences, the documents that bind us together like our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights are the most important things that keep us from losing our way and becoming our own enemies from within. This campaign must be directed at our schools, our communities and even our places of worship, for this message is not one of politics; it is one of survival. In fact, it may be America's last chance to begin to heal its wounds.

The New Weaponization Process: Blackmail: Trump team weaponizes Elon Musk in threat to senators who won’t confirm cabinet picks

Trump team weaponizes Elon Musk in threat to senators who won’t confirm cabinet picks

Donald Trump's team has threatened to weaponize Elon Musk against any Republican senators who plan to block the confirmation of his cabinet picks, according to a report.

One of the president-elect’s senior advisers warned senators that if they vote against his nominees, they could be forced to face primary challenges funded by Musk, ABC reported.

“If you are on the wrong side of the vote, you’re buying yourself a primary,” a senior adviser told ABC’s chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl.

“That is all,” the adviser said. “And there’s a guy named Elon Musk who is going to finance it.”

“The president gets to decide his Cabinet. No one else,” the adviser added.

Musk was instrumental in bankrolling Trump’s presidential campaign and has been weighing in on the president-elect’s cabinet choices.

The billionaire and Vivek Ramaswamy have been tapped to head up the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency to gut federal agencies and cut funding.

The warning comes after Matt Gaetz, Trump’s pick for attorney general, was forced to withdraw from consideration on Thursday following enormous backlash.

His future job as America’s top law enforcement official came to a crashing end with a phone call from Trump landing the final nail in the coffin.

The announcement that he was dropping out came as allegations of sexual misconduct involving a 17-year-old girl and illicit drug use resurfaced and fueled doubts that he would pass the Senate nomination process. Gaetz denies all the accusations.

CNN reported that, just an hour before announcing he was stepping aside, the publication had asked Gaetz for comment about new allegations that he had had multiple sexual encounters with the underage girl.

But, according to a report, the decision to step aside came during a call between Gaetz and Trump himself.

A source told The Bulwark that the president-elect called Gaetz just hours before his withdrawal, warning him that he didn’t have enough support in the Senate.

“You don’t have the votes,” Trump told Gaetz, according to the source. “These senators aren’t moving.”

According to a second source, the former Florida lawmaker is said to have acknowledged that he was four to six Republican votes shy from the threshold needed.

Trump could now have a fight on his hands to confirm Fox News host Pete Hegseth as his defense secretary.

Hegseth’s nomination is in jeopardy following an allegation of sexual assault from 2017, which he denies. The allegation was reported to have taken Trump’s transition team by surprise when it emerged last week.

A newly-released police report revealed previously unreported details about the alleged assault which took place after a Republican women’s conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Monterey, California, on October 8, 2017.

The woman at the center of the allegation told police that Hegseth physically blocked the door to stop her from leaving his hotel room and took her phone away, before sexually assaulting her, according to the report, seen by The Independent.

The woman, referred to throughout the 22-page report as Jane Doe, also told police she remembered saying “‘no’ a lot” to Hegseth.

Hegseth has maintained that the encounter was consensual and, in the police report, he stated “there was ‘always’ conversation and ‘always’ consensual contact” between the two of them.

His lawyer said Hegseth paid the woman in 2023 to head off the threat of a baseless lawsuit. No charges were brought against Hegseth.

Is The Deep State Pushing Nuclear War To Prevent A Trump Presidency?

On November 18, 2024, Politico reported that London and Paris had given Ukraine their Storm Shadow/SCALP long-range missiles to Ukraine. As of this writing (Wednesday, November 20, 2024), Reuters reported that Ukraine fired a volley of up to twelve Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles into Russia’s Kursk region, a day after Ukraine fired six U.S.-manufactured ATACMS missiles into Russia’s Bryansk region.

That Ukraine fired a UK missile today makes evident that Biden must have permitted Kyiv to launch NATO long-range missiles into Russia. The redefinition of Russia’s policy on nuclear deterrence that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed this week, makes clear that Russia now considers the United States, the UK, and NATO at war with Russia.

Lobbing a few NATO-manufacture long-range missiles into Russia is unlikely to make any tactical or strategic difference in the war, not when Russia controls much of the Russian-speaking areas of Ukraine, including the Crimea as well as Donetsk and Luhansk provinces in eastern Ukraine. As I wrote in a previous essay, the Biden decision is best explained by what appears to be a preemptive military coup in which U.S. generals fearing prison terms and possible convictions for treason prefer the risk of triggering a global thermonuclear war rather than allowing Donald Trump to take office on January 20, 2024.

For months, Putin has left no doubt that he will launch a retaliatory tactical nuclear response if Ukraine launches NATO-manufactured long-range missiles into Russia. On May 6. 2024, Moscow summoned the British ambassador to the Russian Foreign Ministry to issue “a warning that Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory with British-supplied weapons could bring retaliatory strikes against British military facilities and equipment on Ukrainian soil or elsewhere.”

Then, on September 12, 2024, former Russian President and current Deputy Chair of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev threatened the UK following a meeting between Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Ukrainian President Zelensky in Ukraine. During that meeting, Lammy promised Ukraine 100 years of British support. In a post on X, Medvedev claimed, “So-called Ukraine will not last a quarter of that time. The island called Britain is likely to sink in the next few years. Our hypersonic missiles will help if necessary.”

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the U.S. and several Western embassies in Kyiv closed after receiving “specific information of a potential significant air attack.” Just a few days before that, on November 17, 2024, NATO member Poland scrambled fighter jets close to Poland’s border with Ukraine “after Russia launched ‘a massive’ aerial attack on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure overnight.

The Deep State initially had available only three strategies to keep Trump from returning to the White House. All three have failed, requiring a more extreme strategy—nuclear war.

  1. The Department of Justice, along with prosecutors in Georgia and New York, did everything possible to bring criminal legal indictments against Trump to diminish his financial resources with the goal of imprisoning him. The criminal prosecution strategy has failed so far, with Judge Merchan postponing sentencing indefinitely in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s cases winding down.

  2. Trump survived two assassination attempts. On July 13, 2024, Trump turned his head to the right to look at a chart, causing the bullet to miss his skull, hitting only his ear. Trump’s survival appeared to many to be an act of God.

  3. Embedded algorithms were discovered in the State Board of Election voter registration databases that permitted certifiable votes to be cast by “false voter records” created by a cryptographic scheme that assigned legitimate state voter IDs to “non-existent votes.” As reported on our website, GodsFiveStones.com, Andrew Paquette, Ph.D., discovered cryptographic algorithms in New YorkOhioWisconsinPennsylvania, and Arizona, with algorithms yet to be reported also found in New Jersey, Texas, and Hawaii.

With these efforts having failed, what’s left is to escalate the weaponry that the U.S. and various NATO partners supply to Ukraine to provoke a nuclear response from Russia. Fearing that Trump would fulfill campaign promises to dismantle the “woke” Deep State, the New World Order military/industrial/intelligence complex prefers to risk nuclear war rather than allow Trump to return to the White House.

Even a limited Russian nuclear response would hamper Trump’s ability to end the war in Ukraine quickly after his inauguration. Should a Russian nuclear response lead to a global thermonuclear war, the World Economic Forum’s depopulation goals would only be achieved much sooner than anticipated.

It’s important to remember that Vladimir Putin does not have a history of bluffing. Putin appears to speak consistently and calculatedly, carefully choosing his words to have a particular desired effect. Since his interview with Tucker Carlson on February 6, 2024, Putin has been telegraphing that the two eastern provinces in Ukraine are closely allied with Russia, explaining that, from Russia’s perspective, the greatest threat to Russian national security was the possibility that Ukraine would be accepted into NATO. The disclosures that the CIA had secret spy bases established on Ukraine’s border with Russia, along with Russian claims that the U.S. has operated gain-of-function biological laboratories in Ukraine, are obvious threats to national security. Putin has pleaded to have them verified by credible international investigations.

In an overabundance of caution, Trump’s senior advisors have prevented him from meeting with foreign heads of state, respecting concerns Trump would be accused of violating the 1799 Logan Act that criminalizes unauthorized American citizens attempting to negotiate a dispute between the United States and a foreign government. But with the world on the precipice of nuclear war, what is desperately needed is a reliable backchannel within which Trump can begin negotiations with Putin over terms and conditions to end the war in Ukraine.

Given that Trump is officially President-Elect, his status is arguably elevated above that of an unauthorized citizen. Clearly, members of President-Elect Ronald Reagan’s senior advisory team had back channels with Iran to release on Reagan’s inauguration day the 444 American hostages Iran had held in captivity since November 4, 1979.

Reagan managed to communicate to Ayatollah Khomeini that he did not have Jimmy Carter’s initial sympathy for Khomeini’s radical Islamic revolution, nor did Reagan intend to lead an inept military that could not successfully conduct a helicopter rescue mission in the desert. Here, too, President Trump must convey to Putin in words of one syllable that he will abandon NATO if NATO persists in reckless military strategies originating with a lame-duck president who apparently suffers from some form of mental disabilities, making him vulnerable to shadow advisers.

We cannot Make America Great Again if we allow the Biden administration to get us into a thermonuclear war. Trump must derail the Deep State’s fourth and last strategy to make sure Trump does not have a successful second term in office.

Trump must block the Deep State’s plan to bait Putin into using nuclear weapons on the battlefield for the first time since the end of World War II, thanks to Biden allowing Ukraine to lob tactically pointless US- and NATO-manufactured missiles into Russia’s sovereign territory. With Putin having promised to retaliate with a tactical nuclear strike against Ukraine, President-Elect Trump risks catastrophe if he fails to communicate with Putin.
