The New Trump Era

Now that that’s settled and Trump has achieved what seems to be a comfortable victory, from a historical perspective, there’s some virtue in killing all of your enemies, at least figuratively. Julius Caesar didn’t and was killed almost immediately after having himself declared dictator for life.

In 49 BC, “dictator” meant something different than it does today. Being the “dictator” was an honorable, temporary position implemented only when the Republic faced some dire or existential threat that required a firm hand to fix. Although vested with almost absolute power, a dictator would often be appointed for a finite period, perhaps six months, to deal with the problem and then would return to being whatever he was before, whether a senator, a general, a citizen, or whatever.

Caesar’s problem was that he had kept extending his dictatorship until he had himself declared dictator for life. A month later, he was killed by senators, some of whom were his friends, including, famously, Brutus.

Caesar’s reign starkly contrasts with that of his adopted son, Caesar Augustus. Augustus reigned for 41 years (the longest of any emperor) and ruled over a relatively peaceful period of consolidation and prosperity. He set the stage for the Romans to remake the Western world, saying: “I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble.” While speaking literally about the city, he was also metaphorically speaking about the Empire, having prepared the way for its long life.

The difference between Caesar and Augustus? Augustus killed all his enemies when consolidating power. By the time he took absolute control over the Republic and transformed it into the Empire, he had no enemies left, or at least none willing to stick their necks out to challenge him. Unlike most Emperors, Augustus died of old age…

Fortunately, Trump doesn’t need to rely on political murder to achieve Augustus’s success. That’s because Augustus isn’t known as Rome’s greatest emperor because he killed all his enemies, something many later Roman emperors did without Augustus’s stellar reputation. Instead, he’s known as Rome’s greatest emperor because he laid the foundations for a relative time of peace and prosperity throughout the Roman world for the subsequent two centuries. Donald Trump can do the same in America without first killing his enemies.

Last week, I listed ten somewhat high-level things Trump should do immediately upon taking office. These included sealing the border, deporting illegal aliens, and cleaning house in the justice / military departments. Here, I’ll suggest two specific things Trump can do that will set America up to prosper and do so without rivers of blood.

First, Trump must target those people in government who have weaponized the state to delegitimize him and keep him from office. That doesn’t mean people who disagree with him, even if they do so vociferously. No, the people he needs to investigate are those people who used the police power of the state to persecute him and illegally jail his advisors and J6 defendants.

Of all of the things that distinguish a tyranny from a free nation, freedom of speech is paramount. A close second is a police power exercised based on actual laws, not on the whims and lies of politicians. If citizens cannot feel confident that staying within the law will keep them safe from the government, what motivates them to obey any laws?

I’m not suggesting that people like Clinton, Pelosi, Schiff, Chaney, etc., be jailed unconstitutionally. On the contrary, I’m suggesting they be investigated, legally and transparently, and, if appropriate, charged. And it’s not only the household names that must be investigated. So too should the leadership of every agency that played a role in putting the country through the last eight years of unconstitutional hell, bringing America to the brink of becoming a third-world tyranny.

Second, Trump should immediately rescind JFK’s most infamous legacy from 1962:

That year, JFK signed executive order 10988 allowing the unionization of the federal work force. This changed everything in the American political system. Kennedy's order swung open the door for the inexorable rise of a unionized public work force in many states and cities.

This in turn led to the fantastic growth in membership of the public employee unions—The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the teachers' National Education Association.

They broke the public's bank. More than that, they entrenched a system of taking money from members' dues and spending it on political campaigns. Over time, this transformed the Democratic Party into a public-sector dependency.

That Executive Order, more than any other in the 20th century, changed American history for the worse. From that point forward, federal employees—and, over time, state and local employees—could and did unionize against the American people. Rather than carrying out the directives of the Executive Branch, their goal was to extract as much money and benefits as possible from the American people and do so while accomplishing the least amount of actual work possible.

Skeptical? In 2021 the average American private sector employee earned a compensation (salary + benefits) of $88,152, while the average federal employee earned $143,643, fully 62% more. Federal employees quit at a rate that is 75% lower than private sector employees. Today, there are 2.95 million federal employees, or one federal employee for every 118 Americans, whereas, in 1962, it was one for every 226. This is the enforcement arm of the regulatory state that has a chokehold on America.

And this is where Trump can change the trajectory of America’s future. The Heritage Foundation states that federal regulation costs America approximately $300 and $700 billion a year. If Trump can rein in the federal leviathan, that money would stay in American pockets, potentially adding 1% to our GDP annually.

To put that in perspective, GDP has grown by 2.1% over the past 20 years. A 1% addition would result in a doubling GDP in 24 years versus 36 years at that rate. (Rule of 72,) If Trump were to cut the federal workforce back to 1962 levels, Trump would eliminate another $200 billion from federal spending which would add to productivity.

There is no single bigger opportunity today to free Americans and American industry to compete and create, whether it’s creating better widgets, writing smarter AI, making more efficient cars, or developing the next Pet Rock or Christmas antlers. As Johan Norberg chronicles in The Capitalist Manifesto, it’s not capitalism per se. that creates prosperity; it’s free markets and choice.

History shows that no one is better at finding and filling opportunities than American businesses and no one better at creating products and services consumers desire than American entrepreneurs. If Donald Trump can unleash American creativity and productivity even back to the 1980s levels (3.1% GDP growth), never mind 1950s levels (4.2%), he will vanquish his enemies to the dustbin of history far more effectively than he would by turning them into martyrs.

X22, And we Know, and more- November 7

Six times the legacy media had a meltdown when covering the election of Donald Trump

Between doomsday-saying op-eds and fear-mongering pundits, the Canadian legacy media was in a full-blown meltdown when covering President Donald Trump’s election victory on Tuesday night.

True North compiled a list of some of the legacy media’s most dramatic moments in the wake of Trump’s victory.

Trump’s election strategy “directly out of Hitler’s playbook”

The CBC’s US election coverage hosted a Democrat strategist who compared Trump’s election strategy to “Hitler’s playbook.”

After a question from the CBC regarding Trump saying the 2020 election was rigged, Kevin Sheridan, the Republican strategist noted how the Hunter Biden laptop story was suppressed by the media and tech giants like Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta. He referenced a poll that found that Americans would have voted for Trump if the laptop story was real.

Aisha Mills, the Democrat’s Strategist on the show, began saying that Trump’s strategy to win the election came “directly out of Hitler’s playbook.”

“You’re talking about the propaganda campaign and the playbook of Trump. This is not new. This is not surprising. This is directly out of Hitler’s playbook. This is out of an autocrat playbook,” Mills said.

She said Trump has “masterfully” gotten the majority of Americans to believe “the game” is rigged against them, to sow distrust in public institutions and “the free press.”

“There might not be many Latino’s left” after Trump’s done deporting illegal immigrants

Mills then stoked fears that “there might not be many Latinos left” after Trump finished “rounding up” illegal immigrants during his plan to deport illegal immigrants from the US.

There may not be many left after Trump decides he’s going to round them up and deport everybody,” she said. “ I don’t think anybody’s illegal,” she said. She later agreed that many immigrants are “just here illegally,” before comparing Trump’s plan to internment camps for Japanese people during World War 2.

“I’m just reminded of a time when there was authority to have internment camps and to round up Japanese people and someone who is of Japanese descent,” Mills said.

“There’s a white power element” at play in Trump’s election

The Democrat strategist on the CBC panel also said there was a “white power” element at play in the election as Trump was leading in the election race.

“You have this other idea of ‘let’s make America great’ and go backwards. Where, essentially, the power structure in America was made up mostly of a certain kind of person, right?” Mills said.

“There was a white power element to that and you’re seeing that play out in these elections, too.”

Connecting Elon Musk to Russia and China

CBC’s Adrienne Arsenault questioned how Americans will react to Elon Musk, who has been promised a role in cutting government spending by Trump’s government.

While speaking, Arsenault implied ties to industries in Russia and China compromised Musk.

Despite Musk’s international business ties, he has notably donated Starlink to Ukraine to help in its fight against Vladamir Putin’s invasion forces.Trump’s victory a global “crisis like no other”

Another outlet, The Globe and Mail, released an op-ed calling Trump’s victory a global “crisis like no other.”

Columnist Andrew Coyne said NATO will become “effectively obsolete” and claimed Ukraine was “done for” and that China will invade Taiwan as a result of Trump’s previous presidency.

He also said Trump will begin arresting those who “displeased him”  and his proposed tariffs will “tank the world economy,” and that the illegal immigrants he deports will be put in internment camps “probably for years.”

Stoking fears about Jamil Jivani’s friendship with VP-elect JD Vance and connecting Pierre Poilievre to Donald Trump

The CBC News anchor Janyce McGregor, in response to Pierre Poilievre’s congratulatory message to Trump said the Conservative leader’s message of caring about Canadian jobs echoes that of Trump’s campaign for the US.

“The interesting thing about even this initial message by Pierre Poilievre is this is all about jobs that exactly echoes the kind of rhetoric you do hear from the Trump campaign that you hear from people who supported Donald Trump in the US as voters,” McGregor said.

She then began to sound the alarm about the recently elected Conservative MP for Durham, Jamil Jivani, going to Yale with the US VP-elect JD Vance.

“Someone in Pierre Poilievre’s caucus knows the minds of this incoming administration better than most. His name is Jamil Jivanii…he knows (Vance) quite well,” she said. “Sort of someone very close to the mindset of the incoming administration, sitting right there in Conservative caucus this morning.”

She then went on to note that about 50% of the Conservative base said they “would welcome a Trump presidency.

The Coming Chaos

Maybe by the time you read this you’ll know something about the result of the election. Obviously, I had to write this column before Election Day, and obviously I’m not Nostradamus. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I think I know what’s going to happen. I think Trump is going to win. But I’ve been wrong before, and I could be wrong now. Regardless, something will happen, and that something will have huge consequences down the road. So, you better get ready for whatever comes, and being ready for a glorious Trump victory or an awful communist tragedy look pretty similar.

Remember, you can only control one thing. You can only control what you do. So, do the smart thing. Be prepared because everything from a relatively peaceful transition of power to tumbling down a slippery slope toward civil war is on the table. I think things will work out. I think America will muddle through, even if it makes the idiotic choice. But, again, I’m not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet, nor the second cousin twice-removed of a prophet. I could be wrong. Things could get bad. Things could get really bad. That is why it makes sense to take reasonable steps to hedge against the worst-case scenario.

Again, you can only control one thing—what you do. So, here are some smart things to do to be ready.

Get your butt in shape. The abundance of America has spoiled us. A lot of us are out of shape. A lot of us are just plain fat. I was just in France and everybody there is thin. And when I say everybody there is thin, I mean you don’t see young people who are huge like you do here. I suppose they exist, but there aren’t a lot of them. Everybody walks everywhere. They get exercise. They don’t stuff their faces, but they eat well and don’t worry about carbs. That’s not our culture. In America, you have to go out of the way to get in shape. You should get in shape. I hit the gym three days a week. When I’m not at the gym, I’m out doing long walks – thanks to our friend Larry O’Connor, I’m now carrying a pack when I do. Am I in top shape? No. I can and will lose a few pounds, but I can move, have stamina, and am strong. If I had to take action to get myself out of a situation or to fight, I’m capable of doing those things. You need to be capable, too, not just for yourself but for those around you. You don’t want to be a burden. You don’t want to be the person who can’t keep up. Remember, those around you don’t have to be faster than the bear. They only have to be faster than you.

Keep informed. Know what’s going on not only in the country but in your neighborhood. Stuff can change for the worse very, very quickly. I was in the Los Angeles riots. I was going to law school in downtown LA when the Rodney King verdict came down. I got back to Pasadena and turned on the TV and the first thing I saw was what was happening to Reginald Denny at Florence and Normandie. And when I saw that, I knew stuff was going to go down. I had just joined the National Guard after leaving active duty and called into my unit to see what was up. They thought the new lieutenant was crazy because, of course, we were not going to be mobilized. I packed everything anyway. And we were mobilized.

Sadly, at the time, I had sold all my guns in Germany, and I didn’t have a gun. That became a problem when I had to drive through the riots to get to my infantry unit in Inglewood. Learn from my mistake. Have a gun. Actually, have a handgun, a semi-automatic rifle, and probably a shotgun, too. Buy guns and ammunition and train. You need to be ready to defend yourself, your family, your community, and your Constitution if it comes to that.

And I will bet you money it will not come to that. I will bet you money that we are not going to break down into total chaos. But you know, a couple of days before the LA riot, I would’ve made that same bet, and I would’ve lost big. You don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t know what’s going to happen. But anything can happen. If you haven’t taken that lesson from the last quarter century, the lesson that the normalcy that we grew up with, if you are within the boomer/Gen X demographic, is done and gone, then you just aren’t paying attention.

You’ve got to be able to fight. You’ve got to be able to defend yourself and those around you. There’s no cavalry coming. Well, maybe there is, eventually, but do you want to bet your life on a government institution? Do you have a lot of faith that your local government is going to make everything OK for you at a moment’s notice? We just saw what happened with Hurricane Helene. The FEMA feds were AWOL for weeks and even now they won’t pick up the phone. I like the cops, in general, but cops are there to keep the peace. They aren’t there to suppress active chaos. Again, I saw that in Los Angeles. I remember a cop crying in front of me because things were completely out of control. I remember how they put a lot of us soldiers on the street with automatic weapons, and we subdued the bad guys. And I’ll tell you, some of the stuff that happened was pretty ugly.

Things can get ugly fast. People can get hurt. People can get killed. You’ve got to be ready. And you’ve got to be ready to handle the fallout of chaos. Do you know how to stop the bleeding if someone you love comes to you with blood spurting from a severed artery or a sucking chest wound? Well, you better learn. If you don’t have time to take a Red Cross class, maybe take the phone you’re reading this on and study up on how to apply pressure to a wound and even make a field expedient tourniquet.

Now, everything isn’t necessarily going to get turned up to 11. You may just be inconvenienced. We were without power after the recent Houston tropical storm for seven days. We were ready. We had a generator. We also had some food laid in, just in case. Make sure you’ve got a few days of food. Make sure you’ve got some water. Fill up your car so you’ve got a tank of gas. This is just common-sense stuff in case everything goes to hell.

And again, the chances of there being the kind of fallout from this election that significantly disrupts your life in the short term are pretty low. They’re really small. But one of the principles of risk management is that you need to prepare for something that is very unlikely but has devastating consequences much like something that is very likely but has only moderate consequences. You’ll feel better if you’re ready. Best of all, you’ll be ready.

Now, the obvious thing you have probably been telling yourself as you’ve read this is that I’m a little late. You can’t start now and be ready for the immediate aftermath of the election, and that’s totally true. You can’t. But the problems in our society are not going to be fixed immediately, no matter who wins. The risks our society faces are not going away anytime soon. You’re not just getting ready for this election day. You’re getting ready in case the changes that America is undergoing get out of control over the coming months and years. We have some rough times ahead. It’s going to be a while before we have another Era of Good Feelings. Anything can happen, and you should be ready for it all.

Start getting in shape. Keep your head on a swivel. And buy guns and ammunition.

Democrats Have Learned Nothing, Maybe They’re Too Stupid Too

Well, that was fun, wasn’t it?

I love a good election ending with Rachel Maddow being sad and Joy Reid angry. When people like that are having a bad day, America is having a good one.

While the fun of watching Democrats cry over losing never gets old, I’m always concerned about what comes next – Election Day isn’t a finish line, after all – so I look to see if the other side is showing signs of having learned anything from having their rear ends handed to them. I can report that they have not, not even close.

In the lead-up to the vote, Democrats assured us that this election was a fight for the very soul of our country – the existential threat to the side of righteousness, with Democrats being the left’s version of righteousness. Hitler reincarnated was on the ballot; whether the United States of America would become Nazi Germany 2.0 was at stake.

Then Donald Trump won.

Weirdly, none of the people who’d clutched their pearls so tightly that their hands were fused to them had packed up their belongings and fled the country. The View is not planned to originate from Canada or Cuba, and Jimmy Kimmel is not moving to Europe or Mexico; life is continuing as before.

The cast of MSNBC is upset, no doubt, but Comcast is unlikely to fire any of the personalities who’d spent the entire election lying to their viewers about how hated and feared Trump is and how loved Kamala Harris was.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the ratings of CNN and MSNBC suffer a long-term drop. I’ve often wondered if Democrats enjoy being lied to by their media figures or if they really don’t know it’s happening. This will tell me. After years of “the walls are closing in” and “Mueller will nail Trump” turning into a greasy nothing burger, there was a dip in the ratings. But viewers soon returned, either assuming the Maddows of the world were wrong and not lying, or they didn’t care they’d been misled because they preferred the lies to reality. This should give us the data necessary to conclude what it is.

While we can learn about them, it’s abundantly clear they have learned nothing.

Democrats losing is the only time it’s worth watching MSNBC, and I’ve been watching a lot of MSNBC in the last 48 hours. It’s been glorious. Not just because of their whining but because it is clear that they have learned absolutely nothing from Kamala’s defeat.

Since Tuesday night, the list of usual suspects has blamed everything from sexism, racism, the patriarchy, homophobia, pretty much everything short of triskaidekaphobia.

They’re right, of course, just not in the way they think they are. The American public is sick to death of this crap – the elevation of victimhood, making it something to aspire to. They’re sick of the division.

Noted race grifter Al Sharpton argued what others on the left have: that Kamala lost because of her gender, skin color, and the fact that she’s in an interracial marriage. No one cares about those things, but that is the lie they have to tell themselves so they don’t lose the ability to use each of those lies to mobilize a mob in the future. It’s sad, really.

After her “concession” speech, MSNBC personalities literally cried on air, and they immediately returned to Trump is a friend to dictators and a fascist, etc. They’re a one-hit-wonder whose only “hit” barely cracked the top 100. Pathetic doesn’t begin to cover it.

I, for one, hope they keep it up. There are few things the American public likes less than being lectured by judgy child genital mutilators claiming the moral high ground because they insist people who are not them must accept things the preeners use their wealth to insulate themselves from. Illegal aliens for thee, not for me.

“Shut up and obey, bigot,” wasn’t a great campaign slogan. Doubling down on it isn't a sign of commitment, sure; it’s more of a sign of stupidity. I’m glad Democrats are, not just because it is stupid but because it shows they have learned nothing. Maybe they can’t bring themselves to, or maybe they’re too stupid to. Either way, it's good.

Leftist Meltdowns Part Two !

Scientific American editor blasts 'f---ing fascists' who elected Donald Trump

Scientific American editor-in-chief Laura Helmuth blasted Trump voters as the "meanest, dumbest, most bigoted" group and "f---ing fascists."

On her Bluesky social media account, Helmuth documented her reaction to the presidential election over the course of Tuesday night. She began optimistically, celebrating campaign efforts.

"Thank you to everyone who knocked on doors, sent post cards, organized, participated in get out the vote events, donated, registered voters, and just plain voted. I'm so glad we're all in this together," Helmuth wrote.

She also added, "Welp. Gonna be a long night. Cheers, everybody."

TRUMP'S PROJECTED VICTORY DOESN'T GO OVER WELL WITH LIBERAL MEDIA: 'I'M GONNA THROW UP'

As more results came in that showed former President Trump, now President-elect Donald Trump, pulling head in multiple key states, Helmuth grew more heated, appearing to attack his voters.

"Every four years I remember why I left Indiana (where I grew up) and remember why I respect the people who stayed and are trying to make it less racist and sexist. The moral arc of the universe isn't going to bend itself," she wrote.

"Solidarity to everybody whose meanest, dumbest, most bigoted high-school classmates are celebrating early results because f--- them to the moon and back," another post read.

Helmuth also wrote, "I apologize to younger voters that my Gen X is so full of f---ing fascists."

The next day, she shared a Scientific American article titled "Election Grief Is Real. Here’s How to Cope" which featured comments from University of Minnesota emeritus professor and psychotherapist Pauline Boss.

Helmuth referred to members of her generation as "f---ing fascists."

"Now we have a kind of loss that I think is causing some grief for people who wanted a different outcome of this election. It’s really quite important to understand the feeling. It is a normal response if you’re in the midst of something you didn’t expect and you don’t like, and it came suddenly, unexpectedly. It’s a major loss," Boss said in the article.

She added, "The loss of hopes and dreams and plans that they thought were coming from the other candidate; a loss of certainty in the future that was what they wanted; loss of trust in the world as a safe place; loss of feelings of freedom over your own body; the loss of support for people who have lesser means than the rest of us do; the loss of support for your neighbor and people who are different from you—it’s a grief that remains unresolved."

Leftist Meltdowns Part One!

 America Voted for Dictatorship’:

Malcolm Nance Predicts Mass Deaths, Warns Minorities of ‘Roundups,’ ‘Camps’

Donald Trump’s presidency marked the end of American democracy and return to autocracy, according to former MSNBC security analyst Malcolm Nance, who blamed Americans for having “voted for a dictatorship” where “loads of people” will die, warning of “free hunting season for blacks with immunity for white cops” and that Muslims and Latinos “will DEFINITELY die in mass deportation roundups/camps.”

Following Donald Trump’s election as the 47th President of the United States, left-wing author Malcolm Nance penned a fiery “emergency article” expressing alarm, portraying the election result as the death of American democracy to his over one million followers.

“I had written another one just in case things went South. That moment has come. The United States has voted for a dictatorship … and decisively,” he wrote.

He also takes aim at those who voted for Trump, accusing “white people [who] happily voted to impose tyranny over all other races and creeds.”

According to Nance, Trump’s victory heralds a transition to “autocracy ruled by the white tribe,” calling it a decisive end to what he dubs the American experiment of democratic governance.

“My dear readers, if you are reading this, then the worst has happened. Donald Trump has been elected the 47th President of the United States,” he writes.

In the essay, Nance equates Trump’s rise to a loss of liberty akin to America’s colonial struggles. He declares that Americans now live under a “dictatorship,” with Trump wielding powers comparable to those of a king.

“We do not have a president; we now have a King with all the powers George III had at the time of the American Revolution,” he writes.

He also asserts that Americans who opposed Trump now face tyranny that threatens every aspect of daily life.

Nance even likens the Trump administration to George Washington’s army hypothetically defeated at the Delaware River crossing.

He suggests that “if the nation is to be saved,” those who resist Trump must act as “loyal and ardent defenders of the founding principles at the risk of your life and fortune.”

“Soon, you may have to choose if you will protest if and when America lurches into a complete dictatorship and/or civil war,” he argued.

Nance presents this resistance as essential, citing both the Declaration of Independence and Thomas Jefferson’s words as mandates to oppose what he perceives as Trump’s despotic rule.

“Tell everyone what you think is right, honorable, and true … before it is illegal,” he warned.

He urged his readers to reject complacency, writing, “You must Hold Fast … to what you know is right and true, and that is not MAGA,” while challenging them to prepare for a struggle he believes is necessary:

You can surrender to an America that is dictatorial and fascistic and will grind into the day-to-day affairs of your life without any input from you, your friends, or your family. You can let other people dictate what your life will be. That’s why it’s called a dictatorship. Information will now be sent to you in any form of “truth” they want you to see. Or you can commit to taking some time off between now and inauguration day and prepare yourself for the upcoming political battle.

In Nance’s view, Trump’s reelection signals a divisive era where, he warns, “your MAGA neighbors will likely view you as a foreign enemy to be intimidated, detained, or destroyed.”

He cautions that the coming years will bring “turmoil, economic hardship, and possibly civil unrest,” urging those opposed to Trump to first organize before preparing to confront these anticipated challenges.

“We have work to do,” he declared.

In a radical post from Wednesday, Nance accused American voters of endorsing policies that will lead to widespread suffering under Trump.

He warned that, with Trump’s reelection, Americans have “voted to absolutely make sure LOADS of people would die at Trump’s hands,” highlighting supposed dangers for various groups — from increased school shootings and racial violence to the persecution of immigrants and a hardline stance on international conflicts:

LETS GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT.

The American People voted to absolutely make sure LOADS of people would die at Trumps hands.

– Their daughters, their wives, children & their fellow citizens will die from school shootings, pregnancy & easily cured diseases.

-It’s free hunting season for blacks with immunity for white cops.

– Muslims & Latinos will DEFINITELY die in mass deportation roundups/camps.

– Gaza will be bulldozed if not ethnically cleansed.

– Iranians who want democracy will die.

– Ukrainians are dying in droves already.

If you think your family is immune from Trumps dementia & chaos that is coming? Did you forget about Covid

Nance has long positioned himself as a staunch critic of Donald Trump and his supporters, often describing Trump’s presidency in apocalyptic terms.

In September, he condemned Trump’s criticisms of Kamala Harris as racially charged, asserting they were aimed at motivating “racist white men to outvote African Americans.”

Warning that “Trump’s racist rhetoric is not just a throwback to the past — it’s a threat to our future,” he insisted that the former president’s “attacks on Harris are not just racist — they are emblematic of a broader strategy to delegitimize Black leadership.”

Nance argued that Harris embodies the American Experiment, warning that efforts to delegitimize her reflect a broader threat to inclusive leadership in the U.S., stating that “We must not let Trump — or anyone else — take that away from her or from any of us.”
