Yes, We’re Winning … But Don’t Get Complacent

It’s time to take a hard, objective look at where we stand in this election with about three weeks to go. Some of us are worried, very worried, and that’s not surprising. The regime media is helping the Democrats wage a psychological war to convince us that the vibe and the joy and the brat are overwhelming Trump and that we’re going to lose, and that you might as well sit out the election in your double-wide drinking non-bespoke beers straight from the can instead of voting. Don’t listen to them. That’s not how this is working out. Look, I have made predictions before, and I’ve been both right and wrong, but it seems to me that at this moment, Donald Trump is beating on Kamala Harris like her husband smacking up a flirty date.

See, it’s funny because her husband is just total trash. Enjoy your Kavanaugh Rules, Kamala.

And it’s relevant to this column not only because he’s terrible and she’s terrible for being with him but because of how the total lack of coverage of this scandal outside of the conservative media demonstrates that even with the regime media all-in – can you imagine the coverage if Don, Jr., or some other close Trump associate was accused of slapping around his gal pal? – Kamala Harris just can’t close the deal.

Let’s look at the polls. It’s not that I believe the polls – it’s that I don’t believe the polls when they tell me what I want to hear. Right now, if you look at the polls, they all show an incredibly tight race, probably the most incredibly tight race since 2004, when it was also razor-thin. But here’s the thing about the polls. The polls show Harris and Trump not only very close in the nonexistent national popular vote but even closer in the critical battleground states. Remember, fortunately and to the dismay of communists everywhere, we still base elections on the Founders’ greatest gift outside of the Bill of Rights, the Electoral College, and that’s all that matters.

Anyway, the polls are super close, with Trump doing better than he’s ever done. And what’s important is that Trump has always beaten the polls. In 2016, it was 90% likely, we were told by all the smart people of smartness, that Hillary Clinton would beat Trump. He was way back 5-10 points. And yet he won.

Even in 2020 – no, I don’t feel compelled to say it was a fair election because it certainly wasn’t – Trump was always behind by 4-5 points and, once again, he dramatically over-performed. He was defeated (sic) by the width of one of Joe Biden’s implanted hairs. Trump still massively over-performed compared to the polls. If that holds true again, if the polls are just as off as they were eight years ago and four years ago, Trump is way ahead and will end up treating Kamala like her husband treated his nanny.

Figuratively, of course.

That is unless the pollsters have massively improved since 2020. Now, it is possible that the pollsters have massively improved in the last four years, but try out this thought experiment. What other institution has actually improved in its ability to perform its basic task during the previous four years? Name one element of society that’s actually gotten better at doing its job instead of much, much worse. Add in the fact that the way you contact people to poll is changing – you can’t just call somebody’s landline and expect them to sit there for a half-hour telling you their feelings. I’ve gotten about a dozen poll calls this year, and the best they’ve ever gotten from me is a hang-up – you don’t want to know what I tell them when I’m feeling feisty, but it’s anatomically challenging.

So, to believe the polls showing Harris has a 50-50 chance, you have to believe in massive polling improvement, something for which there is zero evidence. Note also that the polls themselves are wildly divergent. Trump is sometimes five points behind, sometimes two points up. Even the pollsters can’t agree with the pollsters, which is why we use averages. Still, polling is a blunt instrument, but bottom line: The fact that the averages showing Trump and Harris are about tied is good news for Donald Trump.

So, how is Kamala acting? Scared. That tells us something. She went on “60 Minutes” and embarrassed herself even after CBS edited it to help her. She’s demanding another debate. She picked a fight with Ron DeSantis, and that ended poorly. She interrupted Obama’s permanent vacation to pester black men (who are going an unprecedented 20% for Trump) and pried Bill Clinton off his latest tramp to go stump for her. She is so worried about men rejecting them that her minions put out that cringerriffic “real men” ad with ironic femboys cosplaying as males. And she’s going on media outlets like Univision for a teleprompter-assisted town hall, that podcast for skanks, and the radio show with that elderly Stern lady, but notice something? She’s going on outlets that appeal to consistencies she should have already nailed down. None of these are the actions of someone who thinks she’s winning.

Next, let’s talk about the fundamentals, the basic indicators of who usually wins. Are they determinative? No, but they provide a useful perspective. The fundamentals indicate that the incumbent is at a disadvantage when there is unrest internationally or there are tough economic times. Kamala Harris is the incumbent, although she’s trying to run as Aunt Hopey Changey. But she’s not selling the change. In fact, as she told “The View,” she can’t think of a single thing she would change from Joe Biden. That is a mark against her. So is the existence of unrest and conflict in the world, from Ukraine to the Middle East to China. So is the economy, which is doing great for her billionaire buddies but not so hot for normals. And so is the border; the only wall she has built is between herself and the job title “Border Czar.” Of course, the chaos that came with sidelining Joe Biden goes against her. So does the fact that she’s a woman – a lot of those Arab American voters she’s been sucking up to in Michigan by backstabbing Israel might not be so excited about voting for a woman. And men in general detest Kamala, at least in part because of her obnoxious “You go, girl!” vibe. They wouldn’t feel that way if she channeled steely Margaret Thatcher instead of a Chardonnay-addled Dolores Umbridge.

And then there is the question of gaffes, as in who is making them and who isn’t. Let’s start with who isn’t. Donald Trump. Remember in 2016 and 2020 how every day we had a new tweeting outrage that would take us off task to litigate what the President really meant? That’s not happening now. Trump 47 is unbelievably disciplined compared to Trump 45, and his campaign is professional and ruthless. It’s Kamala Harris who’s making a fool of herself. She goes on friendly interviews, and no matter how slow the regime media lobs the softballs, and no matter how much they edit her word salad tossings, she still comes off like a cackling idiot. “There will be no success in ending that war without Ukraine and the U.N. Charter participating in what that success looks like,” she babbled on “60 Minutes.” Elon Musk needs to invent an AI program that can translate her English into English.

And finally, there’s the insider stuff. I’m reluctant to talk about it because insiders typically dwell inside a bubble. They may mean well, and they may be trying to give you their best information, but their perspective is sometimes skewed by where they sit. Yet, in this case, the insiders all seem pretty darn confident. I’m not going to name names because lawyers never break confidentiality, but I had the chance to talk to a number of people who are pretty deep in the know and who you may recognize. They are overwhelmingly positive about Donald Trump’s chances. They believe that Donald Trump is moving ahead and that Kamala Harris’s manifest failings are beginning to take hold and drag her down.

My Pennsylvania folks tell me that the state is nearly in the bag. In general terms, others in the game cite internal polls that show Trump ahead of the public polls. Another insider insists that Trump will win “Handily. He wins every swing state, and maybe New Hampshire, Virginia, and New Mexico.” My source predicts a 3–4-point blowout.

I love hearing that, and while I have a lot of respect for this guy, I am going to make the conscious decision not to believe him. You should not believe him either. It’s not because he’s untrustworthy – he’s not. It’s because we can’t become complacent. This isn’t done by a long shot. You should believe that we have to fight like we’re six points behind, and it’s the fourth down with 99 yards to go. What you should not do is allow yourself to be demoralized by the psyop and think that this game is over. It isn’t. We like our current position. We’re just going to fight like we’re in a bad position and that way we’re going to win this all.

Harris-Walz Burlesque

I’m so old I remember when we learned about advertising fakery by ordering stuff like sea horses and x-ray vision glasses from the back of comic books. Younger generations caught on when they compared what they’d seen in the TV ads with the actual products. For voters this time around all they have to do is scan X online. The sea horse ads were better fakes than the Harris-Walz team is churning out. Of course, there is the candidates’ utter failure in public appearances -- such as they are -- to show Harris-Walz viewers that they are phony, unserious contenders for the highest offices in the land.

My favorite satire site, Babylon Bee, nailed it on the public appearance flops.

U.S. -- Despite polling momentum swinging towards former President Trump, political pundits believe that Kamala Harris can still win the election if she can just remain completely unseen and unheard until November 6th.

"If they can just lock her in the basement with Joe, she has a shot," said NBC analyst Chuck Todd. "Kamala's favorability depends on people losing all memory of her voice, face, actions, and anything related to her in any way."

With the race a statistical tie last week, Democrat strategists made the bold decision to have Kamala attempt talking to actual humans. "It was a big risk, having her open her mouth and speak," said DNC chair Jaime Harrison. "It took approximately 30 seconds to realize we had made a huge mistake. I did not know how much I could hate listening to someone saying words. I regret everything."

Though Kamala's polling has slipped since she began her media tour, pundits believe the damage can be limited if no one ever hears from the candidate ever again. "The less people know about who they're asking to run the country, the better," explained Harrison. "It's time to pull a Joe Biden 2020 special."

At publishing time, aides had reportedly set out a trail of wine boxes to lead Kamala into the basement.

Every time she must speak extemporaneously, she reveals herself as a chuckling know-nothing.

Even the audience for the most recent rare unscripted appearance -- the Univision “townhall” which is promoted as Harris’ interaction with “undecided Latino voters” -- was fake. Paid actors were hired to pad out the audience and Harris supporters were flown in from elsewhere to ask questions.

As I discovered, having been granted the sacred opportunity to view the event from an adjacent room on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus, the carefully curated “town hall” audience was actually comprised of avowed Harris supporters.

“I already knew I was going to go for Kamala,” one town hall participant told me. “Part of the reason why I wanted to go was just, like, to also fully support her.”

“So you were already decided, before you came?” I asked another. “Yes,” she replied, declaring her support for Kamala.

The audience members I spoke to were selected with the help of a company called FansOnQ, according to the company’s founder, Conny Quintanilla, whose title for yesterday’s event was “Audience Manager.” The company puts out “casting calls” for events like the Latin Grammy Awards, which have been previously held in Las Vegas. [snip]

Another person told me he was able to attend because he “knows people” at an unnamed “progressive organization,” which somehow granted him the ability to get in the town hall audience. [snip]

These aforementioned attendees were essentially just “seat fillers” -- they were not the audience members who were called on to ask pre-selected questions. Those audience members were flown in from around the country at Univision’s expense. Which is a bit odd, because there would certainly have been plenty of genuine “undecided Latino voters” in Clark County, Nevada who I’m sure would’ve been more than happy to ask Kamala Harris a question.

NOTE: The non-question-asking attendees were still integral to the televisual production of the event, hence their recruitment. Uninformed viewers at home were under the false impression that the people they were watching react to Kamala’s answers were “undecided voters,” when numerous of them were in fact pre-committed Harris voters who sought to attend for the specific purpose of demonstrating their support for Kamala. [snip]

Of course, most journalists covering the event simply repeated the conceit that Kamala was empathetically taking questions from “undecided Latino voters.” In other words, they simply regurgitated the corporate press release.

Of course, even her bio is fake, as Harmeet Dhillion, a San Francisco lawyer who has known her for more than 20 years, detailed to Tucker Carson. That is reflected in her inability to answer anything beyond her scripted pablum throwaways.

“BILL WHITAKER: Your economic plan would add $3 trillion to the deficit over 10 years. How do you pay for it?

HARRIS: Trump’s plan is worse!

WHITAKER: But how do you pay for it?

HARRIS: Well, the rich need to pay their fair share!

WHITAKER: And how do you get this through Congress when no one has expressed support for it?

HARRIS: I’m a capitalist, ya know!”

The polls show that the least likely to vote for the Democrat ticket this year are white males, and the ticket is losing substantial support from black males, too. The prediction maps of the Midwest are getting redder every day. In response, they rolled out Barack Obama, who chided black males for misogyny for not supporting Kamala Harris. Newt Gingrich had some thoughts on that. “It took real nerve for President Obama to leave his 8 bedroom mansion on 28 acres on Martha’s Vineyard to lecture young Black men about their obligation to support Kamala Harris no matter what the price of groceries, the rising crime, the massive illegal immigration or other issues tell them.”

The Obama promotion got significant pushback from both black males and females, who, in fact, are more concerned about inflation, crime, and illegal immigration than they are in voting for an incompetent fake just because Obama will think they are women haters if they don’t.

So, in desperation, the campaign came out with an absurd campaign ad, “Men for Kamala,” featuring men none of whom are regular voters.

They are paid actors. Moreover, their real-life circumstances differ significantly from the individuals they portray in the ad. Here are their stories:

-- Wayland McQueen is a far-left, pro-Antifa comedian and actor who has, until now, found limited success. He does improv gigs at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. In a Twitter post from 2022, he explains what white privilege is and tells you why you need to acknowledge your white privilege. As of 2024 he is single.

-- Lanre Idewu is an immigrant from Nigeria. He is also an actor who works at the D.C.-based OCTET Productions. He has many intimate pictures with the Obamas and the Bidens. Idewu, who is bisexual, has done gay-for-pay movies and nude solo shoots. In the "Men for Kamala" ad, he says he is “man enough to f-ing braid his daughter’s hair,” but the only problem is that he doesn’t have a daughter. Idewu isn’t braiding anyone’s hair.

-- Mike Leffingwell, a gay man, also works at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where McQueen works. He is an acting coach, cartoon writer for Netflix and DreamWorks, and an actor in TV commercials. On his public Instagram page, he showcases his participation in his latest project -- the "Men for Kamala" ad.

-- Winston Carter, the heavyset fellow in the ad who claims to be a mechanic and rancher, lives in Los Angeles signed with Taft Broadcasting Company. He has found limited success in the acting world, mainly as an extra in films and as a character in the low-budget superhero film Spaghettiman.

-- Tony Ketcham, the tough, rugged, bearded grandpa in his garage in the "Men for Kamala" ad, is also an actor. He now mainly does low-budget independent films like Car Botz, where he played the role of PePaw. Tony is unmarried in real life. In 2001, he played the extra role of “alcoholic consumer” in the movie Ghost World.

The ad inspired ridicule, as it deserved to.  Daniel Jupp, for one, had great fun with it:

The ad presents a series of guys saying why they are ‘Real Men’ and why men who vote for Trump aren’t ’Real Men’. It’s an astonishing display of political ineptitude, the campaign ad equivalent of the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I’ve never seen anything this bad.

A whole set of incredibly camp beta males and they think having them wear chequed shirts, stand in front of a paddock or talk about engine parts makes them rugged outdoorsy types. They must be real men because some of them are fat. They must be real men because there’s a horse in the background… careful, don’t tell Tim.

Imagine getting the cast of a broadway musical called Felch! come straight from a Pride parade to have a cowboy hat thrown on their heads and then do a Tim Walz act (even worse than Tim Walz does) and you get the idea. [snip]

Guys who are probably afraid of mean tweets or breaking a nail are the guys who tell us we are “afraid of women?” Give me a f*cking break. [snip]

The people behind the ad stereotype everyone far more crudely than even my sarcasm does.

Because masculinity isn’t a chequed shirt or a cowboy hat you can transfer to a supporter who hates masculinity. It isn’t sexual orientation either although you definitely lose it in extreme perversions (the further ends of Q+ that disgust many gays too).

It’s everything this ad and this mentality lacks -- the genuine rooted in reality grasp of truth, disdain for lies, respect for skill, contempt for cant, physical AND mental self-respect and self-reliance. Masculinity is a set of mental attitudes as well as a set of physical skills.

You can’t get there with the mind of a cuckold or a simp.

No real man would star in a ‘Real Man’ ad that says and pushes the total bullsh*t this ad pushes.

We have too much self-respect for that.

If you thought they’d done enough, you’d be wrong.  The week ended with an MSNBC photo shoot of Tim Walz in a Minnesota field with a dog and a couple of guys in hunters’ vests pretending to be pheasant hunting, though not one of them carried a shotgun. I guess the thinking was Democrats want to show how manly Walz is without, however, offending the party’s anti-gun contingent. (Maybe they just think you can nab pheasants by behaving so absurdly they fall out of the sky laughing.) Late Saturday another video of Walz was posted. This time he's wearing a hunter's vest and struggling with a rifle which he said he bought for "trap shooting." He can't seem to load it and complains that it hurts his shoulder to fire it. Will this persuade white men, who have been demonized by the party for a decade, that it’s safe to trust the Dems again? Walz, by the way is not as popular with Minnesotans as Harris might have thought when she picked him over Josh Shapiro. He returned to the high school at which he was an assistant coach to see a football game -- see how manly? -- a game where the players wore Trump 2024 on their jerseys -- and the principal had to threaten attendees not to boo or shout out obscenities.

Apparently Harris is as bad at vetting vice presidents as she is at vetting husbands, now that Douglas Emhoff, who was billed as the “second gentleman,” has proven to be anything but. He is actually a real misogynist and dare not deny it because to do so would prove him as much of a liar as Walz has been.

‘More Money Than God’ Isn’t Helping Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris is one the unique forces in American politics: the more people see her, the less they like her. Nothing that instills confidence or even a sense of competence comes out of her mouth. She can’t articulate what she wants to do as president beyond “good things." I've never seen anyone rise so high without having any skills to justify that rise. And all the money in the world won’t change that.

Barack Obama rose to the presidency very quickly and without many bumps, so you might think he would fit the destruction I’ve outlined above. But Obama had beliefs – as bad and crazy as they were, he did have them. He could discuss them; he could sell them. You could question the depth of his knowledge on any subject, but the same can be said about any politician.

Well, not any politician because Kamala Harris can’t. Tim Walz can’t either, though I’m not familiar enough with his campaigns for governor to know if he’s unable to speak intelligently or has been instructed not to avoid making Harris look bad. Neither answer is perfect.

The only reason Harris is in contention this year is the corporate media is propping her up, and the billion-dollar liberal billionaires are thrown at her.

The media’s influence is waning, but it’s not gone. Never forget that fully 36 percent of Americans believed Joe Biden was mentally up to a second term thanks exclusively to their lies and biased coverage. And before they started propping up Kamala, she was less popular than he was. That’s a lot of heavy lifting and a long distance to drag a body.

The months they’ve had to drag Kamala have not been kind to her. She started gangbusters, but people see nothing from her – she’s still being dragged. She’s like that friend helping you and a few others carry something big, and you notice they aren’t really lifting anything, only pretending. Only in this case is Kamala Harris not helping herself.

Then there’s the money.

As the media’s ability to help is fading, money can fill that void. Expect the Harris team to flood the airwaves with every manner of BS in 30-second and 1-minute increments. She has raised a ton of money and will spend it all and more. She has to.

Some of it will be spent on “walking around money” and a ground game to get out the vote, which I pray the Trump campaign is countering. But the rest will be thrown at television, trying to convince voters that their gut instincts about her are wrong.

See, the more people see of Kamala Harris, the less they like her, as I said. So, that means her ads can’t feature her as much as a normal campaign.

That leaves the campaign with nothing but voice-covered attack ads against Donald Trump. But the problem for Democrats is literally everything that can be said against Donald Trump has been said and been said for years, except maybe that he’s a murderer.

It’s not that Trump is Teflon; it’s that he’s covered with all of the attacks and the reminder that none have proven true. How many times can someone be called “Putin’s tool” by the people who empowered the Russian dictator to invade Ukraine? How often can someone be called a “friend of dictators” as the dictators in Iran actively work to help Democrats because they had it really badly under the first Trump administration? How many different ways can Trump be called an “enemy of the middle class” when the middle class can’t afford to feed their families under their self-appointed “champions” while remembering the could under him?

Having more money than God is a problem anyone running for office would love to have, but to sell a candidate to the public, you have to have a candidate the public is at least interested in buying. No one is interested in Kamala Harris, so doubling God’s bank account isn’t help. All the pretty wrapping paper in the world and the gift under the most beautiful tree ever will never change the fact that the gift is a pack of socks.

JD Vance Takes Questions During Pennsylvania Townhall Event

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) holds a campaign town hall in Reading, Pennsylvania. Senator Vance is well positioned to carry the banner of America First after the reelection of President Trump. There is a great deal of enthusiasm in the final 25 days of the campaign.

JD Vance vs Martha Raddatz: “Do you hear yourself talk, Martha?”

In a very revealing ABC This Week interview Sunday, ABC host Martha Raddatz attempted to carry water for the Biden/Harris administration, when she said, “only a few apartment complexes were taken over by Venezuelan gangs” in Aurora, Colorado.  JD Vance began his rebuttal by saying, “do you hear yourself talk, Martha?”….  The exchange quickly went downhill from there as Martha realized she just stepped on a rake.  WATCH:

Bill Maher Annihilates Gen Z and Concedes That Kamala Harris Could Be in Serious Trouble

Matt Vespa reporting for Townhall

Bill Maher was back Friday night and didn’t disappoint, hosting a lively panel with CNN’s Laura Coates and conservative commentator Buck Sexton. Those two had their duels, but let’s start at the end because this month was the anniversary of the barbaric October 7 attacks, where thousands of Hamas operatives invaded southern Israel, engaging in a savage campaign of torture, rape, and murder against innocent Israelis. For normal people, it was shocking and warranted the war in Gaza that’s ongoing. For Gen Z and the rest of the Left, it’s the Palestinians and their terrorist trash society that are the real victims. Not that it needs to be said, but no one feels bad for you when you start a war you can’t win and then get your ass kicked as a result.

The HBO host couldn’t take the pro-Hamas nonsense anymore; having railed against it for months, he directed all his fire on upcoming singer Chappell Roan, who, like most in Gen Z, is hardcore in their support for radical Islamic terrorism. They think Israel is a colonizing nation, a historically illiterate position that’s as absurd as folks who think dinosaur bones are fictitious or that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. The ‘Israelis are colonizers’ folks remind me of the ‘birds aren’t real’ clowns. Maher aptly notes that taking this position is like saying the Native Americans are colonizers—it’s stupid.

As he’s done so well in the past, Maher lists the people Roan and her posse are aligning with, which are Hamas, The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, ISIS, and Hezbollah. All of which form the “terrorist mafia,” whose cottage industry is the subjugation and abuse of women. Roan and her ilk would be hurled off rooftops if they tried to be themselves in Gaza. Backing them and bashing Israel takes the attention away from their gender apartheid.

Wake up, kids. You’re the real advocates of genocide. Every single one of these terrorists wants to kill all the Jews. They’re the Nazis without the panzer divisions.

Yet, before he teed that up, Maher, Sexton, and Coates all discussed the state of the 2024 race and its issues, including how Kamala Harris isn’t looking good in the race's final weeks. She’s raised over a billion and cannot break away from Trump within a margin that would suggest she’s winning. Coates predictably said that one of the barriers is that she’s a woman of color.

No, Ms. Coates; Kamala’s grossly unqualified and fails miserably to grasp the issues facing working voters. Also, she made a great point about why men, in general, are fleeing the Democratic Party in droves. Another layer is that people don’t like being lectured to, which is what liberals do all the time. Even Barack Obama, who said at the Democratic National Convention this summer that we shouldn’t shame people based on political differences, did just that in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by taking a swipe at black men for not backing Kamala’s candidacy with enthusiasm.

What has she done to earn their support, Barry?

Kamala Collapses in ABC and NBC Polls, Previously Two of Her Best

Bonchie reporting for RedState

The bad news keeps piling up for Kamala Harris. Riding a wave of astroturfed enthusiasm in August, there was some thought the vice president could build a comfortable lead against Donald Trump. That hope is now a distant memory, and the latest polling data is an outright disaster for Harris.

For the entire cycle, her best poll has been ABC News/Ipsos, which has consistently shown her with around a six-point lead against Trump. That margin is now down to two points

Trump Jumps Four Points in Yahoo/YouGov Poll Since Vance-Walz Debate

It'd be one thing if Rasmussen, Emerson, or even Times/Sienna showed a two-point race. For this specific poll to show that is an earthquake, given how heavily it has favored Harris since she announced. A four-point swing toward Trump simply can't be ignored. For all the anecdotal evidence that the vice president has had a really bad month, this puts data to that idea.

That's not the only indicator, though. The new NBC News poll, which has also leaned heavily toward Harris throughout the cycle, shows the race tiedThat's a five-point swing toward the former president in the last month.

The other numbers in the poll aren't any better for Harris. Her favorable rating has fully collapsed.

Not only has Harris dropped significantly, wiping out all the "joy" her campaign was previously feeling, but Trump saw a rise in how voters perceive him. That is awful news for the vice president with only three weeks to go until election day.

I'm not going to speak too soon because things could change. The popular vote is also simply an indicator to suggest voter trends. With that said, it's getting harder and harder to imagine an event that changes the current status quo. What are they going to do? Charge Trump with a crime and convict him? That's already been done, and no one cares. Harris is also becoming baked into the political cake. What's she going do to change perceptions with voters already voting?

If this is going to be the status quo until the final bell, and it looks like it will be, then Trump has to be the favorite to win the election. There's no other way to describe the situation.
