Racist Joe Biden and the Black Vote

Joe Biden is a racist. He’s always been a racist, and he always will be.

He’s never really caught the hell he deserves for his history of racism because he’s a Democrat – George Wallace with a big, fake-toothed smile and an “aww shucks” attitude. But bigotry with a smile is still bigotry, and Biden has been marinating in it since the days when he used to let black kids pet his leg hair (his words, not mine).

From calling Barack Obama “clean and articulate,” to insisting it is impossible to go into a 7-11 in Delaware “without a slight Indian accent,” Joe has a long list of racist quotes, and that’s without even mentioning his opposition to school integration because he didn’t want his kids going to school in a racial jungle.

Still, Democrats insist Joe is Jerry Maguire – “I’m ‘Mr. Black People!’” Why? Why not?

After generations of control in majority black cities across the country, nowhere is better. Hell, nowhere isn’t a place people of all colors are and wouldn’t flee if they could. Yet, no Democrat in Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis, etc., runs risk of losing their jobs. Why change what you do when it works?

That seems to be the attitude of the Biden campaign – where are black people going go? To Republicans?

Well, maybe.

The black vote has been something Republicans have been dreaming of for a long time. But they mostly think they can never win it, so they give up before trying.

Joe Biden, however, has been singularly horrible as President that he could actually lose a large section of it, or at least inspire many black people to stay home. Either option would ruin him.

With that in mind, the crotchety old racist’s campaign has embraced a pander tour – campaign events for black people, featuring black people, in an attempt to make Joe Biden seem acceptable to black voters.

It’s a bit odd watching the very party calling Clarence Thomas an “Uncle Tom” and Tim Scott as a “prop,” parade out every black elected official and political reverend to extol the virtues of an elderly white guy who tearfully eulogized a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klu Klan. Talk about sell-outs.

Of course, to truly sell-out you have to mean what you say, and then change. In politics, very few people mean what they say, which makes it impossible to sell anything once your soul has been purchased.

Now, Axios reports “Biden launching new strategy to win black voters.” In it, they report, “Following a rally at Girard College, a private boarding school in Philadelphia, Biden will attend an organizing event at a local Black-owned small business, where he'll tout his administration's record on improving Black household wealth.”

He isn’t going to a public school in Philadelphia to highlight those students, but a private academy. Granted, it takes in around 300 student per year and gives them full scholarships (apparently). Think of those kids as the people who got on lifeboats as the Titanic was sinking, everyone else – most of whom are black – as steerage passengers locked below deck, sacrificed to the gods of a progressive caste structure where the government “helps” you by making sure you are trapped in failing schools in crime-ridden, economically depressed cities.

The question isn’t why would black people be loyal to the Democratic Party, it’s why have they been?

That’s a question for the ages, and one Republicans hope ends this year.

Unfortunately, there is nothing Republicans can do to hasten the break-up of Democrats and black voters, it can only be initiated by black voters. They’ve caught Democrats cheating more times than Hillary caught Bill, and it didn’t matter. Bodies pile up in Democrat-controlled cities…and it hasn’t mattered. Generational political control and generational poverty has not mattered. But Joe Biden might.

There is something singularly awful about Biden. Honestly, he is completely devoid of redeeming qualities. His personality is condescending, his constant lying about his own life to make himself seem interesting is simply grating. He’s part of a horrible family of degenerates and junkies that he constantly cites as evidence of his character, while ignoring the existence of his youngest grandchild because his junkie son prefers to pretend she was aborted.

Joe Biden is a judgmental douche pot-stirrer who swears he just wants everyone to get along. No amount of public schooling will square saying you want to unite the country while simultaneously calling half of it Nazis. Who would want to unite with Nazis? I sure don’t, which is why I oppose Democrats.

Joe Biden is a bad person; always has been. And he’s a racist; always has been. Will this be the year black voters recognize that fact and realize blind, slavish loyalty to the Democratic Party hasn’t protected them from problems, it caused them?

I don’t know. The media is still very powerful, and pop culture very good at applying peer pressure.

For most people to make the dramatic change that improves their lives, they must first hit rock bottom – things need to get so bad that you open yourself up to the possibility of the exact opposite of what you’d been doing or even considered. Polls are interesting at this point in the game, but they don’t tell you anything more than the score at halftime, and history is loaded with Super Bowl Halftime Champions who never won a ring. Time will tell if Joe Biden has made things bad enough to break the chains Democrats created to constrain the black vote. I hope so, for all our sakes.

Karl Marx is alive and well in 2024 America (and he just convicted his political rival)

Marxism was easily the most destructive political theory ever to be put into practice. Over the course of the 20th century, it was responsible for purposefully killing well over 100 million people. To put that evil into context, the slave trade into the United States was 400,000 people, the number of Congolese dead during the reign of King Leopold II of Belgium is estimated as high as 10 million, and the total number of deaths during WWII was 73 million. But communism beats them all combined. And most of those numbers came from governments killing their own citizens! I mention all of this because the father of Communism, Karl Marx, has been on my mind lately.

Marx was a despicable human being. It’s often said that he never had a job in his life. That’s not technically true. Although he had a doctorate, his radicalism kept most universities from hiring him. He was a writer and editor for several publications, most of which went bankrupt because no one was reading them or were shuttered by governments seeking to quell what they saw as sedition. He wrote for the New York Daily Tribune for a decade and later for the New York Sun. None of these jobs paid particularly well or consistently (other than the Tribune), and what they did pay Marx often spent on alcohol and tobacco.

Marx’s family lived in poverty and debt his entire life and, often, they went hungry and were evicted several times. This was despite Marx having received substantial inheritances from his parents and taking numerous “loans” from friends. He fathered at least seven children with his wife, but only three survived to adulthood, in part due to the family’s poverty and its consequent malnutrition. But Marx never once took a job that would economically support his family and give them sufficient sustenance. In reality, Marx spent most of his adult life supported by his friend, co-author and de facto vassal, Friedrich Engels, the son of a textile manufacturer.

Aside from being a hypocrite, arrogant, condescending, and violent with words and sometimes deeds, Marx was also a slovenly man. He drank to excess, smoked, and almost never bathed. A German spy, after visiting Marx, reported, “[Marx] leads the existence of a Bohemian intellectual. Washing, grooming and changing his linen are things he does rarely, and he is often drunk.” He was a racist and an antisemite as well, despite his Jewish heritage (his father converted to Christianity for political and economic reasons).

Marx spent virtually his entire adult life decrying the inequality and “failures” of capitalism and proffering communism as the replacement for capitalism and democracy, a theory he and Engels outlined in The Communist Manifesto. But the thing is, Marx had no direct connection to actual capitalism other than taking the money it produced to support him and his family. He had no experience starting a business, building a business, managing payroll, insurance, suppliers, customers, employees, unions, or anything else. No, he learned everything he knew about business and economics from reading.

It’s not impossible to learn about economics from reading. I’ve read Thomas Sowell’s books and feel better informed for having done so. But unlike Marx, Sowell actually worked in the government and observed the real consequences of government programs. In addition, he directly ties his work to specific data from a wide variety of real-world sources. He cites specific companies, government programs, economic measures, and studies when he writes.

Marx does none of that. Most of the information Marx gathered during his career was that of various philosophers, political, economic, and otherwise. These included, among others, Adam Smith, James Mill, Robert Owen, Charles Fourier, and, of course, Friedrich Hegel. But he never visited a factory, a mill, or a mine, nor did he interact with the proletariat he championed. He did interact with one virtual slave, however—his lifelong family maid, whom he never paid and with whom he fathered a child he refused to acknowledge.

Engels, on the other hand did have experience in his family’s manufacturing business. In 1842, his German father sent him to Manchester, England, to get the impressionable lad away from the radical politics infecting Prussia. It was too late, however, as Engels was already radicalized and headed on the path that would define his legacy.

Engels would visit the most downtrodden slums of England and would share his observations with Marx. He left his family company in 1844 and would not return until 1850, two years after the publication of The Communist Manifesto. Much of what Engels would write however was either embellished, taken out of context or an outright lie, a characteristic he and Marx shared.

Although Engels had limited experience with the proletariat, Marx had none and wanted none. He demurred when Engels invited him to visit factories with him, nor would he query his merchant uncle about business other than on a single family matter. However, the lack of actual evidence or experience with anything outside of reading didn’t stop Marx from writing about the destruction of the entirety of Western civilization.

Individual liberty and private property would be gone, while the government would control the means of communication, transportation, and production. It would simultaneously undermine the family and dictate where citizens would live. Marx proffered a communist world with no understanding of how the world actually works. In doing so, he ignored the lessons from New Harmony, Indiana, Robert Owen’s failed attempt to build a socialist nirvana in America, a topic about which Marx would most certainly have known.

Marx understood that, to achieve his preferred goals, democracy wouldn’t work, but violence would. In 1848, he wrote, “there is only one way in which the murderous death agonies of the old society and the bloody birth throes of the new society can be shortened, simplified and concentrated, and that way is revolutionary terror.”

That commitment to violence brings me to why Marx has been on my mind. Does any of the above sound familiar? A vile, self-centered, and arrogant individual with poor hygiene, highly educated, with little or no experience doing anything resembling productive work, while spending his time railing against society and advocating for its violent overthrow?

It should, because we’re seeing thousands of individuals—many highly educated (including lawyers!) and most with no experience in producing anything in the real world—violently demonstrating for the overthrow of the United States as we know it. From Portland to New York to Atlanta to Tampa every time we get the mugshots and reports from the police of the arrestees, they look exactly like you would expect: unkempt, modern-day wannabe Karl Marxes. A majority are professional agitators, going from place to place causing trouble.

While Marx had a vision (albeit an absurd and impossible one) with which he wanted to replace democracy and capitalism, today’s agitators are nihilists with no plan beyond destroying America. They, like Marx, are parasites who do nothing productive for society. They don’t know how the world actually works or  how to build anything productive. All they know how to do is throw fists, stones, and Molotov cocktails while complaining about the society that nourishes them.

But then, that’s the beauty of the left: There never needs to be a connection between ideas and reality. It’s enough to criticize, theorize, and legislate, with no proof necessary, and then let the chips fall where they may.

With Marx humanity paid a terrible toll for such folly. You’d think Americans would have learned something from that history. Sadly, however, looking at the support the Democrat party maintains—and make no mistake, the Democrat party of today is a modern incarnation of Marx’s theory—many apparently haven’t.

Trump Wins. What Next? (Part 2)

When Donald Trump beats Grandpa Badfinger in November, he better hit the ground ready to fight. In my Monday column, we discussed how the Democrats will completely freak out and attempt to disrupt the peaceful transition of government – an act that’s going to be absolutely fine and necessary to maintain Our Democracy even though last week it was the worst thing ever. This second columns talks about what must happen right after Trump is re-inaugurated, God-willing, and what he must do immediately upon taking office. Momentum and inertia are vital. Trump must take his objectives quickly. He must put points on the board immediately on Day One.

Speed is not just of the essence – it is everything. Look at what happened with Israel in Gaza. It should have destroyed Hamas immediately. No waiting. No screwing around. Get in there and get it done. Nothing wins like winning. There’s no victory like victory. You’ve got to get in there and make it happen fast. When you hesitate, it gives the enemy the time to rebuild, re-orient, and counterattack. The IDF should’ve been hanging scumbags from what few lampposts that remain standing in Gaza within the first month, well before all the little keffiyeh-clad scumbags started occupying campus quads and President Gumby started showing his spinelessness.

Audacity, audacity, audacity.

The same is true with Trump taking power again. Take power and use power ruthlessly and without hesitation or lose – those are the choices. He’s got to get wins quickly and needs to pile wins upon wins so fast that the regime media and the institutions can’t decide what to react to. You’ve got to overwhelm the left, and you can only do that with proper planning. You have to plan the transition out so that on Day One, right after he takes his hand off the Bible and goes back to the White House, Trump starts signing things. Orders. Pardons. Regulations. They need to be waiting for him to sign. You take the initiative and you get inside the enemy’s decision cycle. You hit them with so many things so fast that they can’t pick out what to focus on. Overwhelm them with conservatism.

Not only does this tactic neutralize the ability of the regime media to create fake media firestorms, but it also has a morale effect by cheering up us voters when we see our priorities finally put into action. And, of course, it achieves substantive results. In other words, we not only want to do things that are going to help us, but we also want to be seen as doing things that are to help us so that our voters know they are winning and the damn communists know they are losing.

Day One is when we end the two-track justice system. Just recently, some Palesimpian scumbag knocked over a cop in Washington, DC. He’s getting probation. The guys who allegedly did that on January 6 are getting ten years. That can’t be tolerated. The left can’t be allowed to win. It’s not a matter of whether pushing cops is a good or bad thing. It’s a matter of allowing the Democrats to create and perpetuate a dual-track justice system. Allowing conservative-linked people to rot in jail while leftist–linked people run free perpetuates the unfairness. The lawfare by the left must end.

The President has the power to pardon. He should use it. Day One, Trump must pardon every single J6 defendant. Every one of them for everything. No exceptions, no hesitation. Pardon every single one of them, and not just J6 defendants. How about those abortion protesters held in jail for years? How about Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro – prosecuted for contempt of Congress while Democrats get away uncharged (we’ll fix that too). How about that guy who is sitting in prison because he made a mean meme about Hillary Clinton? Pardon him. Pardon everybody who’s been treated unfairly by the Democrats. Then Trump needs to pardon everybody associated with his prior administration. And he needs to pardon himself.

Will the Democrats freak out? Well, yes, though if Trump does it right, they’ll be a lot more things to be freaking out about on Day One. But who cares if they freak out? Caring is the only thing that stops us from using our legitimate power. They’ll say that we don’t care about the rule of law. Who cares what they say? Ensuring that the law has been applied equally – which these pardons would do because Democrats don’t get prosecuted – supports the rule of law. But this isn’t about clichés. This isn’t about pleasing the Democrat elite. They’re never going to be happy. It’s foolish to try. It's about neutralizing the Democrat’s misuse of power. You cannot let them win.

Here’s a radical notion for Republicans. Make Republican voters happy. Trump should aggressively use his power to support the interests of the Republican voters who elected him. Serving those who elected him should be his number one priority. The Democrats understand how power works. They violate the law on immigration and on student loan debt transfers to support their constituents. We need to support ours – legally – and we need to do it without apology and without hesitation.

Trump needs to shut down the border on the first day. Summarily reject all asylum applicants. Just turn their butts around. No more flying illegals anywhere except home. We need to keep doing that even if some Hawaiian judge orders us not to enforce the law and kick these bums out. Fight that obstructionism. As Biden’s student loan scam shows, you find a technical argument to ignore it, ignore it, and get the benefits before the lower court can say, “No, we really mean it” – or the SCOTUS says, “Go for it.” He also needs to cut off the cash to the parasitical NGOs that have gotten billions of dollars to facilitate this invasion of Third World peasants. No more money to any of them. Nothing. Starve them.

And as for student loan forgiveness, Trump simply needs to order that the purported forgiveness is unforgiven and that the USA is going to start collecting those monies. Let the deadbeat gender studies majors sue to enforce an executive action that the Supreme Court has already said is unlawful. After all, Trump must enforce the laws, and the laws say that these debts have to be paid back. Biden’s unlawful waiver of these obligations is legally ineffective. Enjoy the cry of a million gender studies graduates screaming in anger!

We need to start recruiting foot soldiers for the administration. Trump is going to need a lot of conservative bodies to fill the jobs in the myriad federal agencies. Right now, they’re packed with Democrat activists. We need to change that, and we need to not apologize for it. He must fire scores of senior staff at various agencies. Ones he can’t fire need to be transferred to their new place of duty in Ticklebooty Springs, Wyoming.

He needs to fix the military. He needs to fire the joint chiefs. He also needs to fire the heads of all the military academies and war colleges. He must order DEI is completely out of our armed forces. He needs to make clear that our military’s purpose is to destroy our enemies and nothing else. Not screwing around about the climate hoax. Not diversity. Killing our enemies. He’s commander-in-chief, dammit, and he should command. Not ask. Command.

There should be a towering pile of executive orders waiting for him on the Resolute Desk when he gets back from the inauguration, executive orders that will make the Democrats scream. For example, the only reason that federal government employees can unionize is because of an executive order. He should revoke that on Day One and ban government employee unions. Sure, they’ll scream and yell. They’ll sue. Maybe they’ll go on strike, which would be great because when these flunkies disappear and nothing changes, we’ll see that they weren’t necessary to begin with. Obviously, you want to put a hiring freeze in place. Obviously, you want to ban DEI throughout the government.

Federal law enforcement needs new rules to stop the persecution of political opponents, which inevitably means Democrats persecuting Republicans. His first action should be an order that there is no investigation, evidence gathering, prosecution or any other activities directed at any member of the administration without the personal approval and signature of the Attorney General. Yes, Trump should interfere with the operations of the Department of Justice. It’s a corrupt organization full of Democrat activists who have demonstrated that they are unworthy of our trust. He shouldn’t give it to them. He’s the chief executive elected by and accountable to the voters. The unelected Attorney General, and therefore every single other unelected employee of the Department of Justice, works for the President. He should delegate to his Attorney General, and to no one else, the ability to approve an investigation of any kind of the administration or any other political official. No more Russiagates. No more Flynn frames. The Department of Justice has shown that it cannot be trusted not to abuse its power, so it will lose its power. The elite won’t like it – they want a fourth branch of unaccountable government bureaucrats, but that’s not a thing, and we can’t let it continue to be a thing.

It’s vital that this all happens on Day One because of what will appear on Day Two’s front pages of the New York Times and Washington Post. What will the headline be? He will have done dozens and dozens of things. Do they go with the pardons? Do they go with DEI? Do they go with his other executive orders? We want them pulling out their purple hair, trying to figure out what they will focus on as the biggest outrage in the face of dozens of outrages. They will scream and yell. They will cry. Maybe they will riot – of course, the insurrectionists will feel the full wrath of a Trump Justice Department. The Democrats and Congress will go nuts. Who knows, they may obstruct the Senate from conducting business – we will probably have a majority, but a minority can do that. That’s fine. Let them. We need to remember that it’s the Democrats who mostly benefit from government largesse. Let the Democrats shut down the government. Throw us in that briar patch.

Most of all, Trump must stand firm – something that will not be a problem. He’s tough, and he’s mad. Any other Republican would’ve wilted under the attacks on Kavanaugh, but Trump didn’t. You know, they say that Trump is going to use his second term to get revenge because he’s so vindictive. Good. That’s a strength. We want him vindictive. We want him to seek righteous retribution – since when were Republicans against punishing wrongdoers? We want Trump utterly focused on breaking the stranglehold on, if you pardon the expression, Our Democracy that these leftist jerks have had for the last decade.

He must exercise his constitutional power without apology or hesitation. He must move fast and ruthlessly. The way to do that is to plan the transition in detail. It needs to be comprehensively plotted so that he’s ready to act immediately, Day One. His last administration was largely improvised because, at some level, people didn’t really believe that he was going to win, and they didn’t really prepare for it. Well, there’s no excuse now. There are thousands of Republicans who have had administration experience thanks to Trump, people who can come aboard for Trump 2.0, and this time, they can utterly lay waste to the Swamp.

It will be glorious.

Democrats Want an Early Debate So They’ll Have Plenty of Time to Dump Biden

Democratic National Committee rules and state laws create a simple path to oust Biden before, during, and after the convention.

Donald Trump and Joe Biden are set to make history yet again by squaring off in the earliest general election season debate in history on June 27. This matchup will force the opponents to face each other before they have even clinched their party’s official nominations at their respective conventions. The reason is obvious: Democrats will have plenty of time to replace Biden as the nominee when he inevitably stumbles through the first debate.

People like pollster Nate Silver are starting to call for Biden to step aside, despite many commentators still saying that’s an impossibility. However, both Democratic National Committee (DNC) rules and state laws have a plain and simple path to oust Biden.

State and territory delegates select the presidential nominee for each party, with a certain number of delegates allotted per state. Under DNC rules, there are two types: (1) pledged and (2) unpledged, or “automatic,” delegates. Contrary to what their titles suggest, the classifications matter little. Unpledged delegates may vote for whomever at the convention, but pledged delegates are free to do the same under DNC’s Call for the 2024 Convention, Article IX.F.3.ddespite the outcome of state primary elections. (“All delegates to the National Convention pledged to a presidential candidate shall in all good conscience reflect the sentiments of those who elected them.”). Contrary to oft-repeated dogma, no DNC rule mandates that delegates are bound to vote for a particular candidate.

Before the Convention

The Democrat Party would typically formalize its presidential nominee at its convention, although due to a conflict with Ohio ballot deadlines, the party announced plans to virtually nominate Biden. (No date has been set for the “virtual roll call,” but Ohio’s deadline is Aug. 7, more than a month after the debate.)

In what typically happens at the convention, the permanent chair receives nominating petitions and holds a vote once all are received. Nomination requests for a candidate are made in writing and can be submitted up to the day before the vote. To become a candidate at the convention, one only must present petitions signed by at least 300 delegates, no more than 50 from any one state. With an estimated 4,672 delegates, it takes less than 7 percent of those to sign a candidate’s petition to be certified.

Any individual who submits a complete nominating petition at the convention can receive delegates and become the nominee, even if that person was never voted on by a single member of the general public or on any state primary ballot.

During the Nomination: Not Picking Biden

Even if Biden’s supporters put forward his name for candidacy, the Democrat machine can still handpick the nominee. On the first round of voting, only pledged delegates are permitted to vote, unless a candidate has been certified by the DNC secretary to have “obtained a number of pledged delegates equal to a majority of all pledged and automatic delegates to the Convention,” in which case unpledged delegates can also vote on the first ballot. Biden has obtained the requisite number of delegates, which means all delegates can vote in the first round.

If Biden receives a simple majority, he officially becomes the nominee. Yet, as previously mentioned, no rule mandates that delegates must vote for Biden, even if “pledged,” and since all delegates could vote in the first round, there is nothing preventing another candidate from being chosen via a simple majority too. Since automatic delegates are comprised of the Democratic Party elite, nothing is preventing them from choosing a candidate more to their liking than Biden.

After the Nom Before State Ballots Are Printed

If, at the conclusion of the nomination process, Biden is the nominee, there are still many opportunities post-convention for withdrawal, whether he is ousted, withdraws, or is incapacitated after the convention but before all state ballots are finalized. Only one vague DNC rule governs this process, and it also allows the party elite to decide who runs:

In the event of death, resignation or disability of a nominee of the Party for President or Vice President after the adjournment of the National Convention, the National Chairperson of the [DNC] shall confer with the Democratic leadership of the United States Congress and the Democratic Governors Association and shall report to the [DNC], which is authorized to fill the vacancy or vacancies.

There is no requirement that the vice presidential nominee must become the presidential nominee.

The rule is unclear: What does it mean by the terms “shall confer” or “disability”? Without further clarity, the rules would appear to give the DNC unilateral authority, besides the loose requirement of conferring with senior Democrat Party officials, to choose the nominee.

Instead, the only concrete requirement for any new nominee appears to be the constitutional requirements (i.e. a natural-born citizen at least 35 years of age who has lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years, and who is not a citizen of the same state as the vice presidential nominee). Once these basic qualifications have been met, all bets are off as to whom the party elite may select under these circumstances.

Without additional processes or mechanisms, DNC rules not only allow but would require the Democrats to convene certain members of the party to effectively overturn the outcome of the state primaries. It is the proverbial “smoke-filled room” of D.C. lore.

Under the scenario whereby the Democrat elite unilaterally select a nominee following the convention upon the candidate’s death, resignation, or disability, state ballot access laws then kick in to determine legally what happens within each state. Most states defer to the party, and provided that the state party tells the state’s election authority (such as a secretary of state or board of elections) of the nominee’s name before a state-prescribed cutoff date, the name on the ballot can be whomever the party selects, as state ballot access laws do not rely on the results of the convention itself.

States that do have a specified process typically require only an individual or body within the state party (i.e., state chair or an executive body) to be responsible for naming the nominee. As long as that designated individual tells the state government the name of the replacement nominee, the process is formalized in most states, and that nominee’s name is printed on ballots.

Closer to the Election: Biden Is Ousted, Withdraws, or Is Incapacitated

Once Biden’s name is printed on ballots — or after the second scheduled debate in September — it gets trickier for him to drop out and still have a Democratic nominee in every state. Many states (i.e., Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia), would count Biden votes as actually counting for a replacement, while others (i.e., Georgia and Illinois) would not count any ballots cast for Biden. Yet some (i.e., California and Nevada) would, in the situation of a Biden win in that state, treat the office of the presidency as vacant — meaning no candidate is entitled to the state’s electoral votes — and others (i.e., Wisconsin) do not seem to recognize candidate vacancies in any event other than a candidate’s death.

This is further complicated by some states’ electoral vote laws (i.e., Nevada, Georgia, and Illinois), which appear to restrict electoral votes for nominees replaced late in the process. Because of the lack of clarity and uniformity on naming a nominee successor, any Democrat nominee replaced late would face extensive litigation and utter chaos.

That’s precisely why the Democrats pushed for at least one early debate. They know Biden is a disastrous candidate and need to have a plausible reason to replace him, knowing their own rules make it mechanically straightforward to do so even after the first debate.

Record Number of Americans Think Joe Biden's America Is 'Out of Control'

As the 2024 presidential election nears, Americans are becoming increasingly frustrated with the trajectory of the country under President Joe Biden.

According to a Hart Research/Public Opinion Strategies/NBC News poll, more than half of all Americans believe the country won’t survive another four years under Biden.

Seventy-three percent of likely voters say Biden has driven the United States “out of control,” indicating that former President Donald Trump is the favorite to win the November election. (Via the Decision Desk HQ and the Hill.

In addition, nearly three-quarters of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track— the highest negative number for any president recorded by Hart Research/Public Opinion Strategies/NBC News.

In comparison, in 2008, 70 percent of respondents said that the country was heading in the wrong direction under George W. Bush’s term and 65 percent said the same about former President Obama.

This number trumps what voters thought about the country just three months ago.

In February, only 69 percent of respondents said things in America are heading in the wrong direction.

In addition, an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found that most independent voters believe Biden is a greater threat to democracy than Trump.

This comes as polls reveal Biden struggles to retain votes from non-whites and young voters.

In 2020, Biden won voters under 30 by 23 points, Black voters by 79, and Hispanics by 35. However, flash forward four years, and the president has taken a backseat to these demographics.

On the contrary, Trump is leading Biden by three points among young voters and surging among black and Hispanic voters. A recent Fox News poll found Biden tied with Trump among Americans under 30 in a two-way matchup. When third-party candidates were included, Trump led Biden by ten points with younger voters.

A USA Today/Suffolk University survey found that Trump leads Biden by five points among Hispanics, while a Wall Street Journal poll found that 30 percent of black men and 11 percent of black women plan to vote for Trump.

It appears the anti-Israel/pro-Hamas lobby in America is getting desperate. In fact, they are so desperate to push their agenda that they are employing a ridiculous strategy: begging singer Taylor Swift to speak out in favor of the Palestinians.

A group of social media fans have launched a full-on effort to persuade Swift to chime in on the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas, which has been raging since the terrorist group carried out a brutal surprise attack on the Jewish state on October 7.

Using the hashtag #SwiftiesForPalestine, this intrepid gaggle of keyboard warriors are writing posts demanding that Swift, a noted expert on Middle Eastern geopolitics, make a statement against Israel. “[Y]ou can’t tell me taylor or her team aren’t aware about this hashtag,” one user posted, with a screenshot of the hashtag trending on X.

Another user also chimed in, saying she is “proud of Taylor for what she has achieved this year” but also asked, “What use is her ever-growing influence if she stays silent?”

Since the start of the war, several celebrities have expressed their opinions on the matter. Former adult film actress Mia Khalifa came out against Israel and criticized members of Congress who voted to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), the leading member of the House Hamas Caucus. She claimed those who voted against Tlaib were being paid by a pro-Israel political action committee.

However, some celebrities have expressed support for Israel, including Star Wars actor Mark Hamill and Kylie Jenner. They were almost instantly pilloried for doing so, of course.

This campaign comes amid widespread unrest on college campuses related to the war in Gaza. Pro-Hamas protesters have engaged in violence and other unruly activities in their effort to pressure their schools to divest from the Jewish state.

Here’s the thing: What would it matter if Swift spoke out on the situation in the Middle East? For starters, the Swiftie crowd has no idea where she stands on the matter. What if she did what they wanted but ended up supporting Israel? As stated previously, she would not be the only celebrity to do so. Each of these folks would likely have a supreme meltdown if she dared to condemn Hamas and affirm Israel’s right to defend itself.

On the other hand, what would happen if Swift did come out in support of the Palestinians? Then what? Do these people actually believe this would prompt President Joe Biden to cease all support for Israel?

Of course, they don’t. Just like these people don’t actually believe that setting up encampments on college campuses or attacking Jewish students will actually have an impact on support for Israel.

Nearly everything we have seen from the supposed pro-Palestinian crowd has been purely performative. It is nothing more than a way for these impressionable young people to signal their virtue by pretending to care for the plight of the brown folks living in the Gaza Strip. If these people truly cared about the situation on the ground, their anger would be directed at Hamas and other terrorist groups that have been oppressing the Palestinians for decades.

Yet, you never hear the activists utter an unkind word about these entities. Why? Because the truth is that they really don’t care.

AOC Claims Abraham Accords ‘Absolutely’ Caused October 7 Hamas Massacre

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) believes the Abraham Accords, the landmark agreements made between Israel and Middle Eastern nations four years ago, “absolutely” caused the Hamas massacre on October 7.

The progressive lawmaker made the comment last week on a Twitch stream with progressive political commentator Hasan Piker, who, like Ocasio-Cortez, frequently accuses Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians. On the Friday livestream, the pair reacted to former president Donald Trump’s May 23 Bronx rally, where he claimed Israel would not have been attacked if he were still in office.

Piker argued the Hamas attack was a “direct consequence of the Abraham Accords and many of Jared Kushner’s and Donald Trump administration’s actions like moving the embassy to Jerusalem,” Piker said in comments first reported by Jewish Insider. Ocasio-Cortez responded, “10,000%.”

Nodding in agreement, she responded “absolutely” to Piker’s following comment: “He is just as responsible for October 7 as anyone else. The fact that he is saying that October 7 would have never happened is ridiculous when it directly happened as a direct consequence of him moving the embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing the annexed territory of Golan Heights as Israeli territory, going against international law, and also conducting the Abraham Accords completely sidestepping the Palestinians on the conversation.”

National Review contacted Ocasio-Cortez for further comment.

In 2020, the Trump administration helped broker the Abraham Accords to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco. The bilateral agreements, according to their mutual declaration, sought to maintain and strengthen peace in the Middle East and abroad. The Abraham Accords were named after the biblical Abraham, the common ancestor of Jews and Arabs.

Months prior to the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita said the Abraham Accords have “created an incredible momentum for peace and prosperity in the entire region.”

While the war is perceived to have set back peace efforts, a report released by the Abraham Accords Peace Institute in April found that diplomatic and economic ties between Israel and Arab nations remained relatively stable. Israel’s trade with countries that signed the Abraham Accords dropped by only 4 percent in the last quarter of 2023, compared to an 18 percent drop in Israel’s overall trade.
