Climate ‘Experts’ Are 0-54 with Their Doomsday Predictions

 

  For more than 50 years Climate Alarmists in the scientific community and environmental movement have not gotten even one prediction correct, but they do have a perfect record of getting 54 predictions wrong.

 In other words, on at least 41 occasions, these so-called experts have predicted some terrible environmental catastrophe was imminent … and it never happened.

 And not once — not even once! — have these alarmists had one of their predictions come true.

 Think about that… the so-called experts are 0-53 with their predictions, but those of us who are skeptical of “expert” prediction number 53, the one that says that if we don’t immediately convert to socialism and allow Alexandria Ocasio-Crazy to control and organize our lives, the planet will become uninhabitable.

 Why would any sane person listen to someone with a 0-53 record?

 Why would we completely restructure our economy and sacrifice our personal freedom for “experts” who are 0-53, who have never once gotten it right?

 If you had an investment counselor who steered you wrong 53 times, would you hang in there for number 54?

 Of course not. You’d fire him after failed prediction two or three.

 And if that’s not crazy enough, the latest ploy is to trot out a 16-year-old girl to spread prediction number 42, because it is so much more credible that way.

 Sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh.

 Anyway, I want you to have the data, so go ahead and print this out in advance of Thanksgiving dinner with your obnoxious Millennial nephew.

 Don’t litter, be kind to animals, recycling’s for suckers (it’s all going to end up in the ground eventually), so stop feeling guilty… Go out there and embrace all the bounty that comes with being a 21st century American — you know, like Obama, who says he believes in Global Warming with his mouth but proves he doesn’t with the $15 million he just spent on oceanfront that we’re told is doomed to flooding.

Joe Biden Comes to Town

President Biden is attending a fundraiser, hosted by Michael Douglas, Eileen Fischer, and a few other wealthy, liberal elites who live in my town.  The disruption to residents’ lives and local small businesses is intrusive and appalling.

Irvington, New York is a sleepy little river town famous for being home to Washington Irving and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  It is less than two miles long, with one Main Street of businesses and New York State Route 9 running through it, separating the homes on the Hudson River from those located in the hills overlooking the river.

When my husband and I moved here 35 years ago, it was quite a different town.  We chose it for its quiet vibes, scenic views and parks, good schools, proximity to New York City, and friendly and low-key residents, many of whom were “townies” who were raised here and become police officers, volunteer firefighters, coaches for the high school sports teams, and business-owners.

The scenic views and proximity to the city remain.  Otherwise, the once slightly conservative town is now a liberal bastion of hell for those of us who don’t support sanctuary cities, defunding the police, and the antisemitic Black Lives Matter movement.

When we moved here, Irvington had a Republican mayor.  The mayor who oversaw most of the changes was born and raised here.  He served six terms — the first two as a Republican, next two as an independent, and the last two as a Democrat.  He finally became honest about his ideology as he and the boards of trustees over the years followed the same path as many blue cities across the country.

Former mayor Brian Smith’s proudest accomplishment was turning Irvington into Westchester’s first sanctuary city.  When I attended the meeting to fight this, I was a lone voice.  By this point, liberal ideologues had moved from the Upper West Side and Park Slope, bringing their crazy and destructive ideas with them.  I was shouted down, laughed at, and belittled.

The mayor lied in order to pull at the heartstrings of town residents, making up a story about his young son asking about a poor immigrant busboy in a local restaurant.  Perhaps he learned the art of lying about family members in order to manipulate constituents from the king of such tactics: Joe Biden.

A year or two after Irvington became a sanctuary city, it also experienced its first murder in 40 years, when two kitchen staffers in a local restaurant got into a fight.  Coincidence?

A few years later, the liberal powers-that-be decided that it was unfair for Irvington to have private parks that couldn’t be accessed by the public.  Two of the largest and most scenic parks are on the Hudson River, next to the train station, which would provide easy access to everyone who wanted to spend an afternoon utilizing the facilities — playgrounds, basketball courts, barbeques, and picnic tables.  That taxpayers were footing the bill for maintenance, clean-up, and most importantly security didn’t matter, as long as the liberals didn’t have something that others couldn’t also have.

The craziness in town culminated in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the Black Lives Matter protests, during which the town formed a committee to conduct a review of the Irvington Police Department.  The committee of about 25 individuals consisted of the board of trustees and volunteer residents.  I participated as the sole conservative voice on the committee, and several police officers listened in on meetings.

The town paid tens of thousands of dollars for two facilitators to run the meetings — a black man and a Hispanic woman.  During the first Zoom meeting (this was during COVID), I was immediately labeled a racist when I questioned the black man stating that the next George Floyd could happen in our town.  It was a ludicrous statement, indicating that he knew nothing about Irvington, but the progressives on the committee ate it up and literally spent the next several months labeling me a racist for defending the IPD.

After months of me sharing information on the lack of evidence of endemic racism in police departments (that went ignored), we held a community meeting with Irvington residents, who were asked to provide their input.  A Hispanic woman accused the police of attacking her husband simply because he had brown skin.  I FOIAed the video of the incident as well as the police report, both of which proved that the woman was lying and had made up the entire story.  The police actually intervened as her husband aggressively approached a white woman in the lobby of the police station — they simply stood between him and the young woman.  I sent the video to the committee members.  Their response: it was her truth, and we had to respect it.

As the committee prepared its recommendations, many of the members wished to defund the police and replace them with social workers.  Thankfully, that did not get enough support.  But the experience led to officers — several of whom were born and raised their children here — retiring immediately upon their pension vesting rather than staying on.  Some even moved away.  And of course, the hiring of new officers would now be based, in part, on skin color.

I share all of this to provide background on the insanity that now pervades my formerly special, beautiful home, which progressives destroyed.  Biden is here, and I’m stuck at home, not able to drive my car off my street, walk my dogs on the path that I usually do, or go into town to dine in one of the restaurants we frequent.  My husband can’t get home from work.

Route 9 has been closed from one town north through Irvington and down many miles through four additional towns.  Interstate 287 was also completely closed from Westchester Country airport through the Tappan Zee Bridge.  The disruption to residents across the county is extensive.

Schools in all of these towns were forced to close early, and after school activities were canceled.  Biden just pulled into town, but the Secret Service and state, county, and town police shut our town down at around hours earlier.

I don’t want to even think about how much this is costing Irvington (every officer was forced to work) and Westchester residents in order to protect the man who has consciously chosen to ignore his duty to protect us as Americans.  The selfishness on the part of Michael Douglas and the other hosts isn’t surprising — the world revolves around liberals as they live in their blue bubble of entitlement and progressivism, all so that the worst president in the history of America could make some money while hobnobbing with rich and famous idiots.

Irvington’s Metro-North train station provided easy access to the pro-Hamas, terror-supporting Jew-haters who marched up Main Street and are protesting as close to the venue as possible.  Their lives weren’t disrupted by this, but the rest of ours were.  Biden didn’t care, since some of the attendees paid upwards of $100,000 for a few minutes in a living room with a senile, inarticulate, bumbling liar.

My town was thrown into chaos when Biden came to town.  But the world was thrown into chaos the second he entered office, so I’m not surprised.  And while I can try to sell my house (taxes are ridiculously high, the schools are liberal indoctrination centers, the residents are intolerant progressives), Irvington was my home that progressives destroyed.  If they get another four years, there won’t be many places to which escape is possible.

It’s hard to imagine that anyone who didn’t hate our country would deliberately continue to take us even further towards the path of self destruction than Biden.

If you believe, correctly, that the entirety of Joe Biden’s presidency has been one unmitigated disaster after another—not only for the American citizenry, but for the United States’ standing on the world stage and for our allies around the globe who have embraced the cause of freedom and religious liberty—fasten your seatbelts, because you haven’t seen anything yet.

If you believe, correctly, that under Biden we are no longer a country that has any interest in securing our border, curbing inflationary spending and excessive taxation, bringing down the price of energy, ridding our institutions of disastrous DEI initiatives, and returning our education standards to one that embraces merit, respect for our Founding Fathers, and our Constitution—brace yourselves, because we may be nearing the point of no return if we aren’t already there.

If you believe, correctly, that in the first three and a half years of Biden’s presidency we have turned our back on America’s greatest ally in the Middle East, failed to come anywhere close to holding the Mullahs accountable for their belligerent behavior towards the U.S. and the Jewish state, and have done next to nothing to instill any sort of fear or deterrence to the nefarious grand visions of Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping—just wait, because the current chaos we’re seeing across the world will seem rather tame for what may be in store in the not so distant future.

If, God forbid, Biden finds a way to end up back in the Oval Office come high noon on January 20, 2025, the gloves will be completely ripped off.

It’s hard to imagine that anyone who didn’t hate our country would deliberately continue to take us even further towards the path of self destruction.

But make no mistake: a potential second Biden administration, freed from the burden of having to win another election without having to pathetically pander to moderate and independent voters or pretending to support Israel and throwing a bone to leftist Jews every now and then, will not only double down on its ruinous policies that will have deleterious effects for years to come, but a potential second Biden administration will do so with impunity, without any regard for the consequences that the American people will be forced to reconcile with.

Take the border crisis. Since Biden took office, there have been 9.2 million encounters with illegal immigrants nationwide—including more than 7.6 million encounters at the Southwest border. Nationwide encounters have now increased by 28 percent compared to March 2021. And this past March, it was reported that there were 107,298 border encounters by the Office of Field Operations (OFO), specifically at ports of entry—an increase of 375 percent compared to March of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021.

This includes 113,742 encounters with single adults at the Southwest border. So no, contrary to the leftist myth, it is not merely mothers and children who are entering our country.

And as if those figures are not horrific enough, so far in FY24, 24,376 Chinese nationals have already tried to enter the country at the Southwest border. Encounters of Chinese nationals in March 2024 have now increased by a whopping 8,500 percent compared to March 2021, surpassing all of last fiscal year—just six months into FY24.

We do not know who these people are. We do not know if they have good intentions or not. We do not know if they love our country or if they want to assimilate. We do not know if they wish to cause harm to American citizens. What we do know is that they broke the law to come here and are overwhelming public resources across the country at taxpayers’ expense. We cannot afford to accommodate them, nor should we.

As horrendous as these border crossing numbers are now, in a second Biden term, these figures will only further be exacerbated as the Democrat Party looks to import millions of likely new voters without a care in the world for what it will do to our cities. The lack of respect that Biden and the Democrat Party have for the citizens of this country knows no bounds.

How about inflationary spending? During Biden’s first three years, his administration has already accumulated $6.32 trillion in debt, including by spending $391 million on Green New Deal initiatives that will do virtually nothing to stop so-called “climate change” but will dramatically raise the cost of energy. Prices are now up by 19.4 percent since Biden took office. Gas is up more than 50 percent since January 2021, and inflation has been at or above 3 percent for 36 straight months.

But don’t expect Biden to change his drunken spending habits with our money anytime soon. The best we can do is stop complaining about the price at the pump and buy an electric vehicle, says Pete Buttigieg.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that in the final year of his first term, Biden will rack up another $1.582 trillion in debt, meaning our total debt will reach $7.902 trillion by the end of his first four years in office. Only President Barack Obama, who oversaw a debt increase of more than $9.5 trillion during his two terms, dug us into a deeper hole.

In a second Biden term, without any constraints towards continuing to deceive the public about the illusion of fiscal sanity, Biden will likely blow Obama’s figures out of the water as he looks to fully enact his progressive wish list—so that his favorite historians can compare him to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

How about Biden’s proposed tax plan for his second term? If implemented, it would impose a corporate tax burden on businesses that would be among the highest in the world. This includes a $5.5 trillion tax increase on the wealthy and corporations, while spending $7.3 trillion on defense and much of the rest on federal entitlement programs, including affordable housing and student debt cancellation.

If Biden returns to the White House, he intends to let the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) expire at the end of 2025. This would cause a family of five earning $90,000 to see its marginal tax rate jump from 12 percent to 15 percent and would cause its $6,000 in tax credits to fall to $3,000 under the Biden plan.

A second Biden term will not only constitute a tax increase for the rich; it will apply to the middle class as well. But the concerns of working class families are no longer of any importance to Biden or the Democrat Party—and they haven’t been for quite some time.

Look at Biden and the left’s support for DEI. If he serves a second term, he will continue his war against white America—including when he unconstitutionally chose to exclude billions of dollars from white business owners and farmers regardless of need. Never mind that a federal appellate court and the United States Supreme Court already issued an injunction against the measure—but that won’t stop Biden from trying to enact similar discriminatory policies in the future, because, as we have already learned, he is the divider in chief.

Finally, look at Biden’s betrayal of Israel. Biden and his ilk, including Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, keep prefacing every public comment with the hollow perfunctory statement that the Jewish state has a right to defend itself, and yet, apparently killing Hamas terrorists, who seek its destruction and use its citizens as human shields, is crossing a line—so they’re calling for Benjamin Netanyahu, the Democratically elected leader of Israel, to be ousted. Never mind that 62 percent of the Israeli public supports Netanyahu’s plan for achieving victory in Gaza, while just 16 percent oppose his plan.

If Biden really supported Israel, he would keep his mouth shut and allow Netanyahu to do his job—and he wouldn’t keep funding the terrorist Iranian regime. Just wait and see what happens in a second Biden term, when the Jewish vote no longer matters to Biden.

Instead of Biden working on strengthening our relationship with our strongest allies, he undermines them. Meanwhile, China and Russia are watching closely because they know we have a weak president who is unlikely to make good on any of his threats in response to continued acts of aggression towards our allies, including when he repeatedly tells Iran, “Don’t.” A second Biden term will only further embolden our enemies to do whatever they want.

So what can be done?

To all those who decided to vote for Biden the first go around because they wrongly believed that he would resemble a “return to normalcy” and would supposedly govern as a moderate, what more evidence do you need in order to not vote for him? How many more catastrophes and physical and mental gaffes need to happen before people connect the dots and say this man cannot and should not serve again?

We are led by unserious people who cannot even keep the peace and figure out how to protect Jewish students on college campuses—but these are the people who could be dictating our foreign and domestic policy for the next five years.

Unless, of course, the American people have finally decided that, come November 5, enough is enough.

When I’m sometimes foolish enough to state a political view while out in public -- you can’t be held in jail without bail for talking about January 6, can you? -- the person I’m speaking with typically responds, “Oh, so you must be a Republican!”

And I laugh heartily, and shake my head no.

The Democrats may very well want to off unborn babies; encourage adolescents to lop off their breasts or penises; counsel African-Americans to expect financial reparations from Whitey as penitence for past offenses; allow any Tom, Dick or Juan to waltz into this country unvetted, possibly unemployable, and potentially criminal; convince anxious middle schoolers that the Earth is doomed; and staunchly support all the vile college brats and anti-Semitic educators advocating for the extermination of Israel, I say.

But at least they have the courage of their conviction.

The GOP, or “Gutless Old Party,” as I call them, is the biggest bunch of overpaid, overstuffed wussies since Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.

They promise to fight the people trying to burn our country down to the ground, and then go paws up the next time the corrupt, lawless FBI asks for permission to continue spying on Donald Trump and his supporters without a warrant.

They run for office on reducing government spending, and then agree with every absurd, wasteful, and unaffordable -- considering we’re the most indebted country in world history by a considerable margin -- Democrat-sponsored giveaway.

Think of Republicans as beta-Democrats in sheep’s clothing.

Democrats will fight, riot, lie, cheat, steal, and collude to win. They’ll sic the feds on Americans with the wrong thoughts, the IRS on folks of the wrong political party, provide the media with the official government-approved message, and make it ridiculously easy to cheat electorally while importing millions of new voters from abroad.

GOP politicians, on the other hand, harrumph loudly, demand investigations, send subpoenas that are promptly ignored, and send sternly, I tell you, sternlyworded letters.

What a bunch of poseurs and clowns.

I can see why weak-minded people flock to the Democrat party. They’re the strong horse. The GOP, although I agree with most of their professed views, exudes weakness.

Let’s take a trip down Gutless Old Party Lane, shall we?

Recall the photo of a smiling George W. Bush in 2017 -- who actively opposed candidate, president (R), and citizen Donald J. Trump -- laughing it up with his good buddies Slick Willie and Barry O. at the President’s Cup. Yes, that’s “Dubya” who, when he wasn’t mangling the English tongue or starting two deadly, costly, and ultimately fruitless wars, was more than happy when the time came to drop his conservative beliefs and mosey on over to the other side.

And how ‘bout Sen. John McCain? McCain ran for office on the Republican platform of abolishing Obamacare. Still, despite being terminal with a brain tumor, McCain revealed himself to be just another slithery operator, as he single-handedly saved Obamacare and gave President Trump and every single Republican voter one final middle finger.

Speaking of spineless, failed GOP candidates for president, how ‘bout M. Pierre Delecto?

Can you imagine a Democrat senator voting to impeach a Democrat president under any circumstance? No?

Me neither.

But Ol’ Mittens, who was perhaps the progenitor of Obamacare in his time in Massachusetts, was more than happy to throw the president of his own party under the bus, further buttressing Democrat claims that Romney purposely left his dog on top of his car during a road trip. Whether he’s abusing dogs or Republican presidents, M. Delecto clearly can’t be trusted.

And who was a bigger turncoat than Obama-supporting Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (D-FOX)? That’s right, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy gave in to the opposition at every opportunity, he put the “less” into spineless, he would have easily been the most supine Republican House Speaker of all time until his removal gave us ... Mike Johnson.

Let’s face it, when your GOP street-fightin’, lib-slaying, ‘Merica-saving hero looks suspiciously like Chris Hayes, you’ve got a problem.

Little Mikey wasted no time giving in to aid for the unwinnable war in Ukraine, comfort to the plotters in the FBI, and absolutely no protection for our Southern border as promised. How would a Democrat Speaker of the House be any different?

And who can forget the pathetic efforts, travails, and absurd recusal of President Trump’s first attorney general, Jeff Sessions?

No one? Anyone?

Bueller?

Seriously, could you be a bigger wimp? Of course, the answer to that is yes! 

Attorney General Bill Barr (R-Dunkin’s) was a much bigger wimp. Like his waistline, his promises were big -- he vowed to get to the bottom of the Clinton/DNC/FBI Russia collusion Scam -- but his results were, sadly, small.

He and his pal John Durham, the guy with the bad goatee, did a wonderful job covering up an orchestrated coup against a sitting president. No one was charged, no one was punished, no one lost their pension, and Barr’s Democrat masters no doubt heartily approved.

But, could there be an even more ginormous GOP fraud than Bill Barr? (Hint: Yet another pathetic Republican presidential candidate.)

Mais oui! Chris Christie, waddle on down!

When not skating on charges of purposely tying up traffic on the George Washington Bridge to settle political scores -- a capital offense in this former New Yorker’s mind -- or single-handedly filling up a Jersey shore beach during the COVID lockdowns that mere commoners were forbidden to attend, Christie misses no opportunity to diss the most conservative, pro-life president and candidate in my lifetime. Recall the photo of Christy Kreme hugging Barry O. and tell me Christy’s not the biggest RHINO, er . . . RINO, of them all.

No, the GOP is truly gutless. They help to expel a sketchy Republican House member, George Santos, while Democrat Bob Menendez continues to flourish, and numerous Democrat reps call for the total annihilation of Israel.

They investigate the corrupt, dried-up vegetable in the Oval Office and his conniving crackhead son, and somehow come up with absolutely nothing, knowing the despicable, lying mainstream media will totally obscure their fey pronouncements.

Frankly, the Gutless Old Party, the Democrat’s pretend opposition, seems to turn tail at every opportunity, they’re the Sir Robin of American politics. At present, they run away, away at every confrontation.

They allow their nominally Republican presidential candidate to be law-fared to death. And then look the other way while the media, academia, FBI, CIA, and DOJ all do their thing to take former president Trump down.

They allow the January 6 rioters to rot in jail while the mostly-peaceful BLM rioters look forward to further opportunities to break the law with impunity.

They support and fund the Deep State that would gladly jail President Trump, you, or me -- if only I could write clearly and powerfully enough.

They support budgets spending money we don’t have, on foreign wars we don’t need, and on pork that the GOP pretends they’re against.

They allow our Southern border to remain open; Jews, Christians, and white males to be openly discriminated against; MAGA supporters to be demonized for caring about our formerly great country; and mentally ill boys to beat up on girls in athletic competitions.

They pretend to represent us while becoming fabulously wealthy on dentist salaries.

Ukraine's commander-in-chief has said the situation on the frontline has worsened in the face of multiple Russian attacks.

Oleksandr Syrskyi said Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from positions in the eastern Donetsk region.

Russia is trying to take advantage of its superiority in manpower and artillery before Ukrainian forces get much-needed supplies of new US weapons.

The US last week agreed a $61bn (£49bn) package of military aid for Ukraine.

But new US weapons are yet to make their way to the frontlines, where Ukrainian troops have been struggling for months with a shortage of ammunition, troops and air defences.

"The situation at the front has worsened," Gen Syrskyi said in a post on the Telegram messaging service on Sunday.

He confirmed Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from some of their positions in an area of Donetsk that had formed part of a defensive line, established after Russia captured Avdiivka in February.

Much of the fighting has been taking place around Chasiv Yar, a Kyiv-controlled stronghold which Russia has been trying to reach after seizing Avdiivka.

New defensive lines had been taken up further to the west in some areas, with Gen Syrskyi conceding the loss of territory to the advancing Russians.

Moscow had secured "tactical successes in some sectors," he said.

Gen Syrskyi added that rested Ukrainian brigades were being rotated in those areas to replace units that had suffered losses.

Russia's defence ministry earlier on Sunday reported its troops had captured the village of Novobakhmutivka, around 10 km (6 miles) north of Avdiivka.

Gen Syrskyi became commander-in-chief of the country's armed forces in February.

It followed speculation about a rift between his predecessor, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier this month, Gen Syrskyi warned the battlefield situation in the east of the country had "significantly worsened".

The commander of Ukraine's National Guard, Oleksandr Pivnenko, said this week that he was expecting an attempt by Russian forces to advance on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second city, which is near the Russian border.

US President Joe Biden this week signed off on a $95bn (£76bn) package of aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan after months of gridlock amid opposition to the aid from some in Congress.

The Senate passed a similar aid package in February, but a group of conservatives who oppose new Ukraine support had prevented it from coming to a vote in the House of Representatives.

On Friday, the Pentagon said it would "rush" Patriot air defence missiles and artillery ammunition to Ukraine as part of its new military aid package.

Between February 2022 and January 2024, the US gave Ukraine more than $40bn in military aid, according to German research organisation, the Kiel Institute.
