Some Men Just Want...

In the movie The Dark Knight, Bruce Wayne (the Batman) confides to his butler Alfred that he’s having trouble anticipating the psychotic Joker’s next move and figuring out his motives.

Alfred blinks his owlish, bespectacled eyes, and then, in his British accent, says, “Some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money.  They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with.  Some men just want to watch the world burn.”

So true.

And with that excellent answer, Alfred the butler has just educated the rather naïve Master Wayne on the presence of pure evil in our world.

Doing bad just for the fun of it.

Sacrilege for sacrilege’s sake.

This brings me to our sad, decaying country, led by our sad, decaying president and his Deep State/media minions.

Let’s pretend for a moment that you’re a naïve bleeding-heart, albeit quite muscular, orphan like Bruce.  (I was an orphan; therefore, by The New Rules, I can say orphan.)  And I’ll be Alfred.  Ancestry DNA says I’m overwhelmingly British, plus I’m paler than freshly bleached bedsheets.

You start.

Why would the people in power leave our country open for anyone in the world to waltz in and potentially bring with them terrorism, crime, disease, drugs, a welfare mentality, and illiteracy?

Me: Because some men just want to watch the world burn.

Why would politicians, academicians, and the media labor strenuously to convince minority children that they’re helpless victims of an unjust system, while telling white kids they’re the problem, whether they know it or not?

Because some men just want to watch the world burn.

On the subject of kids, why on Earth would our leaders, child psychologists, and medical “experts” allow minors — who, last time I checked, are not allowed to smoke cigarettes, drink booze, own guns, or drive a car — to take dangerous hormones, amputate their penises or breasts, and consign themselves to a life without procreation or sexual pleasure?

Because some men wanna watch the world burn, that’s why.

Can you explain to me why certain of our public health experts helped fund the Wuhan, China lab that synthesized COVID-19, then lied about that, then tried to float a narrative that the bug came from eating pangolins or bats, and then attacked anyone trying to tell the truth about the disease’s origin?

And why these same supposed caregivers, along with their political compañeros, made up social distancing; promoted useless (against aerosolized viruses) paper and cloth masks; and mandated improperly tested vaccines that, while failing to prevent the acquisition or spread of disease, did and continue to do grave damage to the poor souls who trustingly bared their arms for multiple injections?

Because some men just...well, you know the rest.

OK, please explain this.  Why would anyone who purportedly cares about the welfare of his parents, spouse, or children, not to mention his fellow man, think it’s a good idea to hamstring law enforcement while making it easier for criminals to roam the streets?  Or useful to allow the mentally ill to roam the subways while arresting good Samaritans seeking to protect their fellow riders?  Or prudent to allow some folks to riot, causing deaths, injuries and destruction — even during a pandemic — while other folks go to prison for a long, long time for taking a walk in the Capitol, with the Capitol Police kindly opening the doors and providing tours?

(See watch the world burn, because some folks just want to.)

And why would our leaders make it ridiculously easy to cheat in our elections?  When elections used to be decided on Election Night, why must we now wait days or weeks for early, late, remote, harvested, no-ID, or cured votes to be counted?  And why does our entire court system studiously look the other way if so much alleged cheating is occurring?

BSMJWTWTWB, that’s why!

Well, can you explain to me why some people, who can’t even accurately predict tomorrow’s weather, want to build costly solar farms and bird-killing windmills that produce negligible energy, and under the wrong circumstances, none?  And why the most dedicated environmentalists want us to eat bugs instead of steaks, to have sex but not children, and to turn down our heat but raise the A.C. — all this while they — the environmentalists, not the bugs — fly their private jets or yacht their way around the world to tony conferences ostensibly committed to saving the planet?

#WatchTheWorldBurn

And could someone, for God’s sake, explain to me how anyone can justify ripping an unborn baby from its mother’s womb?  And while you’re at it, tell me how something that hurts society, the mother, the father, and most definitely the baby could possibly be called reproductive health care instead of filicide?  While there are circumstances where an abortion is an unfortunate necessity, why would anyone promote, facilitate, or celebrate it?

Because...well, you know the rest.

I could go on forever, but I’m old and, although marginally wiser, must get my rest.  Suffice it to say that evil walks freely along our mountains and valleys, and across our fruited plains.

We’ve got cocaine in the White House, a demented grifter in the Oval Office, and a man exposing his fake breasts on the South Lawn.

We help a totally corrupt country fight to a stalemate with an equally corrupt aggressor; we equate the ruthless, rapacious thugs of Hamas with Israelis fighting to survive; and we look the other way while China steals us blind.

We pretend our president’s not deep-fried; our deficit’s not a ticking time-bomb; and it’s OK that our kids can’t really read, write, or take their faces out of a screen.

We look the other way as the Uniparty, federal law enforcement, the media, academia, and left-wing attorney generals and courts all abuse Donald Trump, an American citizen, worse perhaps than anyone in U.S. history.

That’s evil, folks.  That’s bad.

And sadly, other than tending to your own garden, I have no solutions to offer.  For these men who are destroying our once great country can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with.  They just want to watch the world burn.

And we Know, On the Fringe, and more- March 30

The Democrats Have Some Serious Problems

I long believed—and I still believe it—that the Democratic Party’s main strategy in all the lawfare against Trump was to build sympathy and support for him among the Republican base so that he would win the Republican nomination.   They surmised that Trump had absolutely no chance of ever being elected president again; thus, they helped him get nominated.  In that effort, they succeeded royally.

I suppose if Trump got tossed in jail for some reason, that would all be well and good, too.  Republicans would still support him, but most Americans probably wouldn’t vote for a convicted criminal.  But there are enough lawyers in the Democratic Party to know that the cases against Trump are largely high-cholesterol pig slop.  Only juries in 100 percent Democratic cities would ever find him guilty of anything, and it would be overturned on appeal.  So, the Democrats got what they wanted—Trump at the top of the Republican ticket, a man whom they think (thought) could never win the election.

But they never counted on a few problems arising.  One of them is the backlash against these utterly hateful, totally unjust attacks on Trump.  THAT appears to be building support for Trump in locations the Democrats never dreamed of. Not all Americans are Democrats, thus not all Americans are robots.  And plenty of our countrymen can see the repulsive, smearing politics the Democrats are playing, and are finding it a bit off-putting.  Even Donald Trump doesn’t deserve THIS.  Nobody likes a hater.  And in politics, people want to hear what you are going to do, not just who you hate.   The Democrats, so far, have offered nothing positive to the American people; only loathing of Trump.  I don’t know if they thought that would be enough to win this November, but right now, it doesn’t appear to be.

Of course, another problem the Democrats have is that they don’t HAVE anything positive to offer America.  Joe Biden is the worst president in American history, and every month, he gets worse.   He keeps digging an increasingly deeper hole.  If he continues to do that, he will lose.  And the Democrats are feeling that.  They are falling back onto their strategy of “Look what Trump just said!,” but that is only pleasing their base.  And if Americans truly look at what Trump DID say, they will be repulsed even more by Democratic antics.  But how can anyone defend Biden?  Attacking Trump is all the Democrats have at the moment.

I’ve gone back and forth on whether the Democrats are going to dump Biden or not.   I first thought they wouldn’t because, historically, replacing an incumbent president who wants a second term is virtually impossible.  A president has awesome power, far more than the Founders ever intended.  Thus, countless hangers-on in the Democratic Party owe their cushy, useless jobs to Biden, and are going to stick with him through thick and thin.  It will be difficult to get rid of Biden, even if the Democrats could do it.  It would be...pardon the word...a bloodbath.

Then, for awhile, I thought that the Dems, because of certain problems Biden has, such as his age and obvious mental slippage (not to mention his poll numbers), would be able to gently (or not so much) remove him.  Currently, I really don’t know what they will do, so I’m not even going to speculate.  I’ll just sit and wait and laugh.

I do know that, not only will it be challenging to drop Biden, but the Democrats face the serious conundrum of whom they would replace him with.  Really, who do they have?  Michelle Obama said again recently that she does not want the job, and I think she means it.  She’s said it too many times.   Kamala would certainly take it, but the Democrats aren’t going to give her the top spot.  She’s less popular and more obviously incompetent than Biden is.  Gavin Newsom gets some talk, but I’m not so sure the Democrats want him, either.  How will flyover America—and that includes some very crucial states—react to the possibility of the rest of America, particularly their states, ending up looking like California?  Newsom has been as bad a governor in California as Biden has been president of the United States.  And many Americans know that.  Problem, indeed.

People may not especially like Trump, but the country didn’t fall apart during his administration. In fact, until the Wuhan virus hit, things were actually going pretty well. Trump is going to look a whole lot better than Kamala or Newsom to a whole lot of Americans.

So, drop Biden?  For whom? Who else do the Democrats have? Yes, they’d nominate somebody, some virtual unknown, and obviously millions of people would vote for him/her/it. I’m reminded of the 1844 election. The Democratic Party was deadlocked for a long time and finally nominated James K. Polk, a near unknown outside of his native Tennessee, just to have somebody on the ticket.  It was reported that when one man heard about the nomination of Polk, he said, “Hurray for...who did you say it was?”  He’d never heard of Polk.  But Polk won the presidency that year.  It could happen to “Unknown Democrat” this year.

But my point here is, the Democrats have some problems.  They are turning a lot of people away with their single-minded hatred and vituperative attacks on Trump. They are out-Trumping Trump, making him look like the nice guy.  They have a serious Biden problem.  If they can’t get rid of him, they are stuck with him, will have to defend him somehow, and will be offering an obviously unpopular, senile president to America for four more years.  If they succeed in ditching Biden, who can they present as a positive alternative?

Right now, their strategy is “Trump is more disgusting than Biden.”  That’s all they’ve got.  Well, and they intend to cheat.  That goes without saying.

Tucker Carlson and Mike Rowe Discuss AI

For his recent episode, Tucker Carlson revisits a former guest, Mike Rowe.  Mr. Rowe has good and humorous sense of curiosity about things, about stuff, about the real world around us, and he provides good context for examination of this pretending world that swirls our orbit at a speed greater than we can grasp.

Toward the end of this segment, Rowe is asked the oft familiar question, “Where does all this go,” and his answer opens the door to other avenues I happen to agree with. WATCH:

In response to the ‘where does all this end’ question, Rowe notes that at a certain point everything becomes personal, and in the larger context all outcomes have to manifest in reality.  I concur with Rowe on many levels, and a great example of that esoteric -v- reality position can be found all around us in the sphere of geopolitics and manipulation.

Think about the White House and State Dept message at the very beginning of Russia’s military operation in Eastern Ukraine.  Do you remember the White House briefing when questioned about “where this will end”?  {Background}

Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council, Daleep Singh, was presented at the podium on the day of Russia’s first moves into Ukraine, to explain the strategic policy of the Biden administration toward Russia.

…”Ultimately, the goal of our sanctions is to make this a strategic failure for Russia; and let’s define a little bit of what that means. Strategic success in the 21st century is not about a physical land grab of territory; that’s what Putin has done.  In this century, strategic power is increasingly measured and exercised by economic strength, by technological sophistication and your story – who you are, what your values are; can you attract ideas and talent and goodwill? And on each of those measures, this will be a failure for Russia.” (Video Link)

What Daleep Singh said was essentially that Biden policy toward Russia boiled down geopolitical power to a cultural issue of social likeability.

President Putin was also asked about NATO’s likely response, and his reply was more akin to ‘What is the West going to do, put tanks in the forest’?

The disparity between the Biden response and the Putin response can be looked at as esoteric vs realist.

At a certain point in the real world, if you want to change something, you have to physically act upon it.

NATO could gnash their teeth, try to diminish the Russian economy from the sanction approach, and shout at the diplomatic corps.  However, so long as words were the answer, the physical reality of the situation would never change.  This was the baseline for Putin’s confidence.

The same thing can be said for this collective Western effort to financially control all the citizens within the region.  At a certain point the talk becomes action, and that action then creates an outcome.

Mike Tyson famously said, “Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face.”  The same may be true for the plans and schemes of the globalists.

Can the triggering of their plan be stopped?  I think that’s arguably, doubtful; people are just complacent.  However, in the outcome phase, will the consequences of that globalist plan be accepted?  That’s where I’m cautiously more optimistic the people impacted will punch the globalists in the mouth.

I’m not sure we can vote our way out of this in advance, but I am more confident we can punch our way to victory.

Additionally, if you look at what the globalists are doing, punch-avoidance-planning is consuming a lot of their time.

The need for control is a reaction to fear.

Biden Regime Issues Strongest-Ever Emission Rules on Heavy Duty Vehicles, Including Trucks and Buses, to Force Adoption of Electric Vehicles

The rules will go into effect beginning in 2026 for model year 2027 vehicles and become more stringent through model year 2032.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/biden-regime-issues-strongest-ever-emission-rules-heavy/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=the-gateway-pundit&utm_campaign=dailyam&utm_content=2024-03-30

The Biden regime has issued the toughest-ever regulations targeting emissions generated from heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and buses, in their latest effort to force drivers to adopt garbage electric vehicles.

As Fox News reported, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the new regulations Friday morning.

The outlet notes this will force more trucks and buses to be zero-emission vehicles within that time frame. Less than 1% of all new truck sales in America are currently zero emissions.

White House Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi laughably claimed these new regulations will “unlock extraordinary public health, climate, and economic gains.”

“EPA’s standards complement President Biden’s unprecedented investment in our workers and communities to reduce harmful emissions while strengthening our manufacturing capacity for the transportation technologies of the future,” said Zaidi. “By tackling pollution from heavy-duty vehicles, we can unlock extraordinary public health, climate, and economic gains.”

Fox News reports the new mandates apply to short-haul and long-haul tractor-trailer trucks, as well as vocational trucks like delivery vehicles, garbage trucks, school and public transit buses, concrete trucks, and fire trucks. By 2032, 50% of vocational trucks, 35% of short-haul tractor-trailers, and 25% of long-haul tractor-trailers could be electric, according to EPA estimates.

The EPA estimates the new limits will wipe out a billion tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

Todd Spencer, president of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, told Fox News the Biden regime seems determined to eliminate small businesses with these destructive regulations.

“Small business truckers, who happen to care about clean air for themselves and their kids as much as anyone, make up 96% of trucking,” said Spencer. “Yet, this administration seems dead set on regulating every local mom-and-pop business out of existence with its flurry of unworkable environmental mandates.”

As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Biden regime has been on a warpath against the gas-powered vehicles. Just last week, Biden issued the most radical environmental rules in American history to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles and force customers to drive ineffective electric cars.

Automakers will be forced to rapidly curb the emissions of greenhouse gases, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter from new passenger cars, light trucks, and larger pickups and vans, beginning with the model year 2027 vehicles.

When the tailpipe emissions rules kick in, automakers will be compelled to increase production and sales of EVs, plug-in hybrids, traditional hybrids, and fuel cell vehicles. Under one “low cost” model EPA outlined in the rule, automakers must ensure 56% of light-duty car sales are battery electric and another 13% are hybrid by 2032.

The Regime has also received backup from eight states to force Americans to drive environmentally damaging electric vehicles. These states are California, Rhode Island, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. The District of Columbia has also signed off.

IMO - Americans should listen to Biden ! He Knows Trucks and Truckin ...

President Joe Biden claimed in July 2021 that he once drove an 18-wheeler truck during a visit to a Mack Truck factory in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania.

However, it does not appear that he ever drove an 18-wheeler. Biden rode 500 miles in a "47,000 pound cargo truck" in 1973 to get a firsthand look at what it was like to be a trucker, according to an article published in The News Journal in December 1973.

Biden did drive a school bus to make extra money during law school, according to the United Federation of Teachers, but buses are not 18-wheel vehicles.

The White House spokesperson could only point to a December 1973 article from the Wilmington Evening Journal that showed Biden rode in an 18-wheeler, not that he drove one.

American YouTuber Kidnapped in Haiti After Trying to Meet Gang Leader 'Barbecue'

Brittany Sheehan reporting for RedState

On Friday, the recent kidnapping of an American YouTube star in Haiti by one of the gangs assuming de facto control of the island nation was confirmed by other internet personalities close to the hostage. Addison Pierre Maalouf, widely known online as YourFellowArab or simply "Arab," left his Atlanta home and traveled to Haiti to meet and interview Jimmy "Barbecue" Chérizier,  a former police officer and the leader of the notorious G9 and Family gang. Within 24 hours of his arrival in the country, Maalouf, along with a Haitian colleague, was abducted and held for ransom by members of the 400 Mawozo gang on March 14th.

The 400 Mawozo gang ("400 lame men"), led by Joseph Wilson, known as “Lanmò San Jou,” is the largest criminal group in Haiti. This gang has established dominance in Croix-des-Bouquets and other areas through numerous kidnappings, including the high-profile abduction of 17 Western missionaries in 2021.

Fellow streamer "Lalem" confirmed Maalouf's kidnapping on social media on Friday, writing,

Tried keeping it private for 2 weeks, but it’s getting out everywhere now, Yes Arab has been kidnapped in Haiti and we’re working on getting him out. Love y'all he’ll be out soon [heart emoji]

Lalem also shared Maalouf's last video online, filmed from his hotel in Haiti, where he expressed apprehension about being in the country. In the video, Maalouf said Port-au-Prince is "completely run by gangs" and foreshadowed the situation by saying,

All it takes is one stupid gang member holding an AK-47 for one thing to go wrong.

Maalouf was initially being held for a staggering $600,000 ransom, while reportedly, the demand has decreased, and $40,000 has already been paid.

Another YouTuber, Miles "Lord Miles" Routledge, disclosed that he had direct communication with Maalouf using his captors' phone. Routledge revealed details of the kidnapping, writing that Maalouf and his fixer, Sean Jean Sacra, were kidnapped in Haiti while filming riots. The ransom was demanded, then negotiated downward, but an attempted payment failed.

Routledge, a British citizen, said that despite knowing Maalouf's location, the U.S. government's assistance has been limited. Routledge reports that Sacra chose to stay with Maalouf despite being offered release and that Maalouf maintains a positive attitude while being held in a cage on the eastern outskirts of the Capital city, Port-au-Prince.

On Friday, Routledge wrote on social media,

Arab went in with Sean Roubens Jean Sacra, a fixer in Haiti, who Arab met up in the Dominican Republic. Sean has also been kidnapped. Sean was the fixer for the excellent Youtuber @ChrisMustList and many others. Arab entered the country 10 days ago to film the riots.

24h [hours] they were both kidnapped. Less than 2 days later I heard from Arab as he was permitted to talk to his friends through the kidnappers' phones. The ransom was $600k, then it went down to $300k, then it went down further to 5 figs [figures].

The U.S. gov and state department is very hands off on helping, even though Arab is a U.S. citizen. Arab has been kept in a cage in a place on the eastern outskirts of the Capital, Port-au-Prince. His location is known.

There was an attempt to pay the ransom but it went wrong and, truthfully, everyone was out of their depth to help Arab. An exchange went bad / done incorrectly and Arab was not released. Arab is still in excellent spirits.

Arab has stated that despite the hardships, he's going to come out with a great video after this and he should be out in no time. Sean was actually offered to be let go but he's a great guy and doesn't want to leave Arab on his own, so he has decided to stay.

Routledge warned against raising, donating, or attempting to pay the ransom money, writing,

If it is not coming from my mouth, @ChrisMustList's mouth, @Tommygreturns2's or Arab's own social media, controlled by his family, do not trust the information. We will give updates when we can and will help any way we can.

Do not start a GoFundMe or donate to one, there are a lot of scams out there and nobody who isn't aware of what's going on should try to raise and deliver ransom money.

All we can do is pray for Arab and Sean, may Christ look after them. I am taking steps to help Arab get out, I know the grim reality of what could go wrong in Haiti. I have volunteered to go in to do the exchange with 3 mercs, there is other help that has volunteered itself.

The State Department confirmed it is “aware of reports of the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen in Haiti” but did not provide specifics. Haiti has been under a "Do not travel" advisory for U.S. Citizens since July of last year.

In a statement, a State Department spokesperson said:

The US Department of State and our embassies and consulates abroad have no higher priority than the safety and security of US citizens overseas.

Routledge wrote that he doesn't "appreciate" those criticizing Maalouf's dangerous expedition and attempt to interview the Haitian gang leader, writing:

...he was trying to bring good content about a collapsing part of the world. He does not need this right now.

On March 10, Maalouf posted about his travel plans and the fatal risks, writing,

Going on another one of those trips

If I die, thanks for watching what I’ve put out. If I live, all glory to God.

Haitian media reported that Maalouf often "investigated" gangs and cartels and called him a "fearless professional," writing:

It is important to emphasize that Adisson Pierre Maalouf was a fearless professional, accustomed to investigating the heart of gangs and drug cartels to inform the public.

The State Department emphasizes the travel restriction, saying, "We reiterate our message to US citizens: Do not travel to Haiti."

The Value of Trump

An oft familiar set of questions circles around a variation of ‘does President Trump know this’, or ‘can President Trump eliminate this’, or ‘is President Trump the solution’. The most brutally honest short answers are: unlikely, doubtful and no.

That said, the longer answers are much more complicated, involve the reader separating their emotion from logic and accepting that few people in this current American world we are forced to endure truly understand just how purposefully siloed the administrative state of government has become.

Those you think know, don’t.  Those who should know, are fed information to keep them aware of only those aspects that the intelligence apparatus wants them to know.

You are more functionally aware of the details of our issues than any politician you can name. I will go deeper on this again, but it should not be a surprise.

A very elegant outline is worth reading. HatTip to Doug Ross for drawing attention to it.  I particularly like the non-pretense within this section.

By TL Davis – […] “The people want a secure border. They want their veterans to be taken care of instead of illegal aliens. They want fiscal responsibility that will lead to an end to inflation. They want a budget that does not devalue their currency. They want their children to grow up without being force-fed communism and abnormal sexuality from kindergarten on. They want to be left alone to raise their families and enjoy the fruits of their labor, but the communists will never allow that, so they must be defeated and driven back into the holes from which they’ve sprung.”

“Like it or not, the only way to begin that long, arduous battle is to use Trump as your bludgeon. He is not the answer to your problems, but he is their most-feared enemy and necessarily your biggest weapon. A lot of people hated Joseph McCarthy for calling out the communists in government. McCarthyism is the euphemism for political witch-hunts, because the communists in media and the government wanted a term that would cow their opposition, that if they branded them with that moniker, they could destroy them politically. Had we listened to McCarthy, we would have delayed our current predicament by a decade, maybe fifty years. But the communists never give up, so it would have come about.” (please read full essay)

The truthful way to express the value of President Donald Trump is to accept that We the People are the solution, not necessarily Trump the man.

The question then becomes, ‘who gives us the best opportunity to save ourselves‘?  The overwhelming answer is President Donald J Trump.

If we are looking for a person to be the solution to this matrix of mess, we are ignoring our responsibility.  However, if we are looking for a person who will provide the greatest opportunity for us to be the solution to the problem, then President Trump is indeed the best weapon we have against them, these embedded communists.

Within the greater awakening, this reality was always going to be the destination of our journey.

If we are honest, at the core of our beginning most of us knew this, we just didn’t talk about it that much because the admission is scary, complicated and fraught with self-awareness.
