We've left 1 historic year behind, and have now began another! 🎉
Happy New Year, GLORIOUS Year, everyone!! 🥳🥳🎈
I kind of expected 2024 to suck. It didn’t, at least not completely. All’s well that ends well, they say, and 2024 ended well. It’s amazing what a good ending can retroactively do to an otherwise mediocre movie, and it’s amazing what an electoral victory can do to an otherwise mediocre year. That encapsulated 2024 for me.
The year wasn’t that great – inflation continued, people suffered and the political party in charge didn’t give a damn. Democrats spent the year trying to convince people they didn’t realize how good they had it. It was never a winning strategy, no matter who their candidate was.
They also spent the year trying to rewrite history, recent history. It’s one thing to try to claim Abraham Lincoln was gay because you’re desperate to push a left-wing gay or trans agenda and there’s no one left alive to call you out for the lie first hand, it’s another to attempt to do it to convince people they had it worse just a couple of years ago when they can unambiguously remember the truth.
It takes balls, I’ll give Democrats that much, whether they’re theirs or ones they keep in a jar as a trophy from one of their pre-pubescent “tolerance” victims. But it was never going to work because reality is relentless and undefeated, and it is not dependent upon your belief in it.
It seemed that Democrats really believed they could convince people that failure was success. Hell, they had a billion and a half dollars to do it, so you can sort of see why.
And never let anyone tell you that money was raised because Kamala Harris was their ultimate candidate, they raised it because Donald Trump was ours. For all the talk of money corrupting politics and the whining they do about Elon Musk spending $200 million to elect Republicans, their billionaire class gave 6 times more and has for years. This just happened to be the time where the emperor had no clothes, and not just because Joe Biden likes to walk around naked in front of female Secret Service agents.
That money would have been spent if Biden hadn’t been knifed, and maybe more effectively – there was no way to spend it any dumber, honestly. Maybe Oprah wouldn’t have gotten more than a million dollars for a 90-minute streaming disaster or any of the other celebrities she paid might not have gotten richer off it, but other people – probably also with the last name “Biden” – would have.
Until it wasn’t, the election was up for grabs. That made much of 2024 uneasy. The polls sucked, naturally, but they were the only unit of measure we had for much of the year. When they shifted from a Trump blowout against a senile Joe Biden after that disastrous debate to a margin of error white knuckler, everyone had a hard swallow (and no, that is not a Kamala Harris joke, sick-o).
On top of that, there was a real question as to whether or not the Republican candidate would survive the election, with two attempts on his life…that we know of.
Isn’t it weird how we know so little about either of the men who tried to assassinate the President-Elect and no one in the media seems interested? Hell, if they would’ve had a unibrow or succeeded, just imagine the fawning over them Democrats would have done – Trump is obviously a bigger fish than the CEO of a health insurance (not care, as insurance companies do not deliver “care,” medical professionals do).
With all that in mind, 2024 will do down not only as the year Donald Trump was reelected, it will also be remembered as the year Democrats became even more disgusting than they’d been since they started a war to protect slavery or invented segregation and Jim Crow laws. They called everyone who wasn’t one of them a Nazi, promised the “end of democracy” if they lost, then immediately started fundraising for the next election once they did.
They didn’t even take a breath between any of it. They truly are a testament to sociopathy.
2024 left the left reeling, but they are not dead. They still control the education system and will continue to churn out more and more drones.
Reality struck back and gave Republicans the House, Senate and the White House. If things improve – and how could the not? – and Democrats continue to double-down on the hate, child genital mutilation, embracing of mental illness and calling everyone else names there is no reason to think this will change in 2026. But we have to get through 2025 first, and no group of people excels at self-destruction like Republicans.
Buckle up and sharpen your elbows. Happy New Year.
In name, Joe Biden is America’s 46th president. His “signature” is on official documents. He is photographed periodically, whether in the Oval Office, wandering in foreign lands, or inappropriately sniffing or nibbling young children.
But he is the president in name only.
Is Joe Biden even real? As illustrates, his height varies. In one photo, Donald Trump and Barack Obama are the same height. In another, Obama is taller than Biden, and in another photo, Biden is taller than Trump. Like an Escher print, this optical illusion begs the question of whether there is more than one “Joe Biden.”
I doubt Barack Obama is growing or shrinking, and the universe isn’t big enough for more than one Donald Trump. So, it must be Biden who’s changing.
The Wall Street Journal, taking a break from Donald Trump and his supporters, a long-overdue piece of serious journalism, “How the White House functioned with a diminished Biden in charge.”
This article was years late, but better late than never.
The article’s timing is convenient, as Trump is less than a month away from becoming president. He has been the de facto president since Election Day, while Biden appears to be on a slow glide toward a memory care facility on a Delaware beach.
President Biden was treated like a child, as the article :
Presidents always have gatekeepers. But in Biden’s case, the walls around him were higher and the controls greater, according to Democratic lawmakers, donors and aides who worked for Biden and other administrations. There were limits over who Biden spoke with, limits on what they said to him and limits around the sources of information he consumed.
Throughout his presidency, a small group of aides stuck close to Biden to assist him, especially when traveling or speaking to the public. “They body him to such a high degree,” a person who witnessed it said, adding that the “hand holding” is unlike anything other recent presidents have had.
This isn’t from one or two anonymous or unreliable sources that corporate media like the New York Times or CNN relies on to confidently declare Trump is urinating on Moscow beds or raping eccentric women in upscale department store dressing rooms.
Instead, this story is sourced from Biden’s inner circle:
This account of how the White House functioned with an aging leader at the top of its organizational chart is based on interviews with nearly 50 people, including those who participated in or had direct knowledge of the operations.
Special Council Robert Hur described Biden “as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” American nursing homes and memory care facilities are filled with such men. But the Oval Office?
Biden was a toddler, the WSJ noted:
At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person. Biden’s team tapped campaign co-chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg, a Hollywood mogul, to find a voice coach to improve the president’s fading warble.
Yet Biden’s handlers and media cheerleaders stayed silent and gaslit the public about how well Biden performed as commander-in-chief.
Ten months ago, Morning Joe Scarborough offered his own Biden confabulation, confidently asserting:
“F-you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.”
Mitch Landrieu, a former senior adviser to Biden and co-chair of his re-election campaign, told NBC News:
“This kind of sense that he’s not ready for this job is just a bucket of B.S. It’s so deep your boots will get stuck under.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas echoed:
“The most difficult part about a meeting with President Biden is preparing for it because he is sharp, intensely probing and detail-oriented and focused.”
Gaslighting knows no international boundaries. This past July, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer assured us Biden appeared mentally sharp and was “on really good form” after their meeting at the NATO summit.
Biden is not the only one.
Rep. Kay Granger, an enfeebled Texas Congresswoman, has been missingfrom Congress for the past six months. She is reportedly residing in a memory care or assisted living facility. Like the White House is doing for Biden, her staff and family kept this under wraps.
Peggy Noonan, a WSJ columnist, having tiptoed around the matter since at least 2020 finally acknowledged the obvious:
The president has been in apparent cognitive decline for some years, perhaps since before taking office, and wasn’t fully up to the job. His family and friends, top White House staff and other administration officials covered it up. Some no doubt thought his presidency was good for the country and some, perhaps, good for them.
After propping Biden up for years and now that he is heading out the door, the media admits they kinda sorta knew all along that Biden had dementia and can tut-tut over this massive coverup, dancing around their complicity in one of the worse political and journalistic scandals in history.
Lies, lies, and more lies. This is truly “The Big Lie.” Borrowing a Watergate phrase, “What did they know and when did they know it?”
His cabinet certainly knew:
Interactions between Biden and many of his cabinet members were relatively infrequent and often tightly scripted. At least one cabinet member stopped requesting calls with the president, because it was clear that such requests wouldn’t be welcome, a former senior cabinet aide said.
Yet they claimed Biden was sharp and focused. He was so intensely probing that he hardly met with his cabinet:
Over four years, Biden held nine full cabinet meetings—three in 2021, two in 2022, three in 2023 and just one this year. In their first terms, Obama held 19 and Trump held 25.
When did they know? Was this why Biden campaigned from his basement in 2020? Did Obama know Joe was losing his marbles as vice president and, in 2016, promoted Hillary Clinton rather than his natural successor, his vice president?
Who has been running the country these past four years?
Jake Sullivan? Anthony Blinken? Susan Rice? Barack Obama? Jill Biden? Three-quarters of Biden’s top cabinet picks worked for Obama. This unelected cabal usurped the will of the voters, assuming dubiously that Biden was legitimately elected.
Who opened U.S. borders? Who pushed the war in Ukraine and keeps poking the Russian bear closer to nuclear war? Who has been prosecuting Trump and his advisors and supporters? Who is appointing judges and other key government officials?
Who pardoned 8,000 criminals, including 37 on federal death row? Who is instituting last-minute rules and regulations to thwart Trump and the DOGE commission? Who is leaving political landmines in Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, and elsewhere?
America has a shadow government, not an elected president. Anyone who challenges the narrative is a conspiracy theorist. Videos of Biden getting lost or falling were explained by the White House as “cheapfakes.” MSNBC claimedBiden wandering off at the G7 summit was a “deepfake.” These are words that obfuscate their lies.
The executive branch parroted the commander-in-chief’s charade and lies, which followed Biden’s illusion of competence. The FBI and DOJ lied about the Trump-Russia collusion, Jan. 6, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the handling of classified documents.
The CDC and NIH lied about most things related to COVID-19. The FDA lied about COVID-19, other vaccines, and therapeutics. The DOD and State Department lied about Ukraine and Afghanistan. The Treasury Department lied about inflation, and the Department of Labor lied about employment numbers.
This is the real insurrection, a group of nonelected bureaucrats deceptively taking over the executive branch and running the country. Why are we hearing about it only now rather than years ago?
Never mind Woodrow Wilson’s debilitating stroke, or FDR’s rapidly declining health, Biden’s dementia, and coverup by the bipartisan ruling class and corrupt media is a scandal for the ages.
If Biden is not calling the shots, are his decisions legally binding? Senator Tom Cotton summarizes this potential constitutional crisis, although I wonder why he or any other elected official waited four years to state the obvious:
Contracts, wills, and other legal actions are null and void if a party is mentally incompetent, as Joe Biden obviously is. The Congress and the Trump Department of Justice should investigate whether these pardons for depraved murderers are binding.
Who is making these decisions?
Will the last four years have to be adjudicated to the U.S. Supreme Court? Where is Congress? Why are myriad government officials who swore an oath to “protect and defend the Constitution” silent or complicit?
In the meantime, who the hell is running the country?
It’s another massive baseball bat to the dome of liberal America. Donald J. Trump will be president again, with an Electoral College and popular vote win. The left can’t say anything because either way, Kamala Harris would’ve lost. In this exercise to smear Trump, the media has fizzled away what’s ever left of their credibility. It’s got to the point where we’re just waiting to watch these people do faceplants because they don’t know anything. It’s quite simple how the legacy press can turn it around, but they’ll likely fail this exercise.
It's pretty simple: shut the hell up for four years. If you think you have a bombshell story against Trump, stow it. It’s either not real, or no one cares. It’ll only end up embarrassing your employer. Everything these people thought would come true in 2024 went up in smoke: voters weren’t motivated by a female candidate, abortion didn’t push Democrats over the top, and the “Trump is Hitler” narrative was destroyed by voters out of the gate.
The alternative media is rising, which has led to a flurry of tantrums from the old school, who think they control the narrative and hold sway over the electorate. They’re tapped out. These outlets have a monopoly on lefty voters, but they’re not the majority and never will be. Democrats thought insane, wealthy, and college-educated whites could win the elections. All it did was lead to a Trump sweep of the swing states and a total shattering of the blue wall again. Trump has done it twice in eight years. If that’s not a sign that your message sucks, I don’t know what is.
No one cared about January 6 or the phantom threat to democracy; some polls even had Joe Biden posing as the more significant threat with this overt weaponization of his Justice Department. Ironically, he tried to blame the politicization that he caused as the reason behind his predictable pardoning of his son, Hunter, for various crimes he may or may not have committed between 2014-2024.
The real stories were the ones that all made Democrats look bad, so, of course, the media bypassed them. We said Joe Biden was mentally unfit to be president. The media said that was a conspiracy theory, and we turned out to be correct. For four years, one could argue we have had unelected bureaucrats running the country. We said Biden could be replaced on the ticket. The media said, “No.’” And what happened in late July? Biden got dumped, and Kamala took over. The Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. We knew it was authentic; the media played catch-up months later. Russian collusion was a crock. We knew better. We were right. The media was wrong. Every time there’s a declarative statement from these people, which comes soaked in arrogance, wait for it to be set aflame by the facts.
It's got to the point where it’s almost like the media and the people are in an abusive relationship: we keep beating these people mercilessly with the belt and then throwing them down some steps over every major story because they’re simply wrong. And every significant story this cycle has been one that we, on the right, have been correct about because it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see right through the window dressing.
The hilarity begins when you realize the media’s campaign to attack Trump only fueled what will be the most incredible political comeback of all time. This is twice now, folks. Maybe you need to accept that Trump will always own you. In the meantime, shutting up will do the press some good, but we know you wouldn’t be able to help yourselves.
I very much look forward to dragging the liberal media again over the next four years.
Like so much else about the Biden presidency, the claim that he never met his son’s business partners was built on a series of falsehoods.
Joe Biden’s latest lesson in deceit. It’s New Year’s Eve, and as we close out 2024, now is a good time to reflect on the past 12 months, or as I like to call it, the big year for big lies. Consider this far-from-complete list. There were the Democrats’ repeated claims that Joe Biden was “sharp” as a tack and at “the top of his game”—in fact, he was clearheaded enough to run the country for another four years! Or remember when Kamala Harris was the “border czar”—until she wasn’t, and, really, had never been the “border czar?” Or the Ohio “cat eaters” who were nothing of the sort? Then there was apostrophe-gate. After comedian Tony Hinchcliffe joked at a Trump rally that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of garbage,” Biden retorted: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” To anyone with eyes and ears, Biden was plainly calling Trump supporters “garbage.” But liberal pundits insisted he actually said “supporter’s.” In other words, Biden wasn’t really disparaging half the country, just the garbage belonging to the Trump-supporting Hinchcliffe. But nothing could top Biden’s vehement denials that he had any knowledge of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings. Indeed, he consistently said he never even met with any of Hunter’s business partners, or spoke to his son about his business ventures. And yet, here we are, weeks before Biden leaves office, and one last incriminating piece of evidence has emerged. The official photos of the 2013 visit to China by then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter were just released by the National Archives. They show Biden shaking the hand of future BHR Partners CEO Jonathan Li, and Hunter speaking with Chinese president Xi Jinping. Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee has documented 16 separate times that Biden lied about his knowledge or involvement with his family’s business. “If this were just a case of a president and his aides trying to wriggle out of a scandal, it would be one thing. But the peculiar dynamics of the Trump era made the Democrats, the FBI, and the legacy press co-conspirators in the cover-up, Such is the case with the belated release of official photos of a 2013 visit to China by then-Vice President Joe Biden, accompanied by—whaddya know!—his son Hunter. In several photos, Hunter is shown meeting with China’s leader, Xi Jinping, and in another he’s seen shaking hands with China’s then-vice president, Li Yuanchao. In other pictures, Hunter’s dad shakes hands with Jonathan Li, the CEO of a Chinese firm seeking to acquire energy companies across the world. Shortly after the trip, the Chinese government approved the license to create Li’s company, BHR Partners, in which Hunter would eventually acquire a 10 percent stake. BHR Partners is primarily funded by Chinese nationals and entities, including the country’s primary investment bank. Between 2013 and 2019, it invested $2.5 billion in energy and other ventures across the world, according to an investigation by The Wall Street Journal. Hunter held on to his 10 percent stake in BHR through at least 2017. He said he eventually relinquished his stake to the entertainment lawyer Kevin Morris, perhaps as a means to repay the millions of dollars in loans Morris had made to Hunter over the years. The details of this buckraking scheme were unearthed thanks to the Republican-led House Committee on Oversight and Accountability and the dogged reporting of the New York Post, which broke the first stories on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop in the run-up to the 2020 election. It was in 2019, during former president Donald Trump’s first impeachment inquiry, that Hunter’s business in China first became a national story. At the time, Congressional Democrats were probing Trump’s efforts to get Ukraine to investigate Hunter’s lobbying on behalf of a Ukrainian energy company. Trump then floated the notion that Hunter was not only corrupted by Ukrainian interests, but Chinese interests as well. In response, Joe Biden flatly denied ever meeting with his son’s many business associates or even speaking with Hunter about these matters. He’s repeatedly made that statement ever since. In March 2024, when confronted on the White House lawn about the House impeachment committee’s findings into his interactions with Biden family business associates, Biden said, “I did not interact with their partners.” Really? The House Oversight Committee has documented 16 separate times that Biden lied about his knowledge or involvement with his family’s influence peddling. These deceptions began when Biden was running for the Democratic nomination in his party’s primary. “I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” he said two months before the election—a line he repeated throughout the presidential campaign. Once Biden was president, his White House continued to promote this fiction. If this were just a case of a president and his aides trying to wriggle out of a scandal, it would be one thing. But the peculiar dynamics of the Trump era made the Democrats, the FBI, and the legacy press coconspirators in the cover-up. This all starts, of course, with Hunter’s abandoned laptop at a Wilmington computer repair shop. That laptop was like a skeleton key, unlocking a series of Biden family secrets, from Hunter’s addiction to crack cocaine to the emails and texts between Hunter and his father on the very business arrangements the president was insisting he never spoke about with his son. When the New York Post first reported on the laptop three weeks before the 2020 election, social media companies, the mainstream media, and the Biden campaign all insisted the story was fake. Fifty-one former senior U.S. intelligence officials signed a letter claiming the Post story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” When Trump debated Biden before the election, Biden referred to that letter and claimed the laptop story was “garbage.” It wasn’t. In fact, the FBI had verified the contents of the laptop a year earlier. Yet in an act of shocking deception, the bureau told social media companies that Russians were planning to interfere with the 2020 election by planting false stories or hacked or forged materials. When asked by the social media companies whether the FBI knew if the laptop was authentic, the bureau offered no comment, according to 2023 testimony from a senior member of the FBI’s foreign influence task force. The successful laptop cover-up fed Biden’s hubris when he was president. Sure, conservative outlets like the New York Post and House Republicans would dig into the matter. But these were not considered “legitimate” sources by bastions of the legacy press like The New York Times or The Washington Post. This summer, after the Justice Department presented Hunter’s laptop as evidence in a felony trial against him, The Washington Post’s Philip Bump still made the case that the media did nothing wrong in 2020. “It is politically useful for the right and for Trump to suggest that the Hunter Biden trial revealed something novel and incriminating about the traditional media,” Bump wrote. “It didn’t, but readers of this article probably don’t need to be convinced of that.” With coverage like that, Biden never faced much pressure from the press or members of his own party to explain his past denials even as they were being discredited by the drip, drip, drip of more damning evidence. Nor did Biden have to worry about these embarrassing photos from China being released by the National Archives. Like the FBI in 2020, the organization was also willing to play politics to help him. The Trump-aligned America First Legal Foundation had initially sued the National Archives and Records Administration in 2022 for the photos. After objections from former president Barack Obama and Biden himself, the archives delayed the release until after the 2024 election, when the scandal was likely to be overtaken by events. As, indeed, it has been. In some ways this final sordid chapter of the drama captures the broader scandal in miniature. The evidence that Biden’s son monetized the family’s name was always there. But too many of Washington’s elites believed that acknowledging this scandalous behavior would lead to the election of Trump, first in 2020 and then later in 2024. So they ignored Biden’s obvious lies. And in so doing they made a better argument for the endemic corruption of the Washington swamp than Trump himself ever could. |
