Biden’s Border Chaos Damages America’s Schools

Our Schoolchildren are Jeopardized

By now almost every American child starts a new school year. Many challenges confront families seeking solid formations for their children — from school violence, to radical secular humanist indoctrination, to the ongoing severe harm inflicted by the 2020-2021 lockdowns.

But Biden’s created border crisis now adds to that list of hurdles, as schools across the country – not just in border areas – grapple to deal with an illegal influx that prioritizes foreign migrants above our own American children.

Of course, most of corporate media prefers to either ignore or explain away the broader border crisis that Biden and the Democrats inflict upon America. But credit to the normally dependably biased Washington Post for conceding the intensifying scale of the current chaos, running a recent article titled: “Families Crossing the Border Illegally Reached All-Time High in August.”

Through some good reporting, WaPo secured the Customs and Border Protection numbers early, which showed a staggering 91,000 illegal migrants crossing in America as part of family groups in August. That total marks the highest monthly crossing ever. What makes this dubious new record even more alarming is that it unfolded during the most scorching temperature days of summer, which normally temper the stream of illegals at the US Southern Border.

This fresh record for lawlessness also upsets the prevailing narrative because Mayorkas and Biden’s Department of Homeland Security were supposedly going to improve the optics of the chaos there by streamlining a lot of the mass influx via an online app.

But the underlying reality remains: America’s front door is wide open. Our government not only allows, but aggressively incentivizes, a human tsunami of unvetted illegal migrants to pour into our homeland.

Here is the 2023 data, presented in my latest “Chalk Talk,” showing the steady progression higher this year: https://twitter.com/CortesSteve/status/1699170054858772521

This accelerating trend is not our friend, clearly. So, what are the tangible consequences of not just allowing, but actually aiding, this torrent of millions of illegals into America?

As usual with the leftists, our children bear a disproportionate burden.

Children in the United States already face huge education challenges because of the lost year (or years) due to draconian lockdowns and unscientific school closures during the created Covid crisis. Reading and math scores for students in America dropped by stunning amounts since 2020, to the lowest levels in decades. Nationally, 13 year old Americans children saw a 4 point decline reading and a 9 point drop in math compared to pre-lockdown scores, per NPR reporting. Among black students, math scores plunged by 13 points.

Given the hard work ahead for students, teachers, and parents to try to close these massive learning deficits, the last thing America needs is a wave of largely uneducated foreign children. Few of these illegal migrant children speak English, of course – and many of them are illiterate even in their native languages.

For this upcoming school year, New York City strains to accommodate a staggering 19,000 new illegal migrant students being housed by taxpayers there. Even biased CBS News concedes that the system is “overwhelmed” with the “influx” as the school system struggles to hire a whopping 3,400 English as a second language teachers.

Adding to the insult to American families, this wave of illegal migrant children is exempt from the onerous vaccine requirements compelled upon citizen children. The “science” of vaccine mandates bends for politics, apparently.

Of course, young migrant children did not decide to violate US law and disregard our sovereignty as a nation. In addition, many of these parents make a rational risk/reward calculus to break-and-enter into the United States, because they are quite literally being waved right in by our federal government and affiliated NGOs.

The blame lies squarely with Joe Biden, the Democrat Party, and allies like the corporate media and Big Business which seeks a constant flow of cheap labor. Many of these migrant children are abused, in fact, in the process of crossing a border that is now controlled by the vicious Mexican cartels.

On our side of the border, the open borders globalists debase the welfare of millions of American children, and this madness must stop.

What Game is Hunter Biden Playing? ~ VDH

He either cannot control his behavior,
or he is an embittered, angry son.

What shameless act or felonious activity was not evidenced on Hunter Biden’s laptop? Racist attitudes toward Asians? Soliciting prostitution? Felonious use of drugs? Photographed nudity and perverse sex? Admissions to illicit foreign shakedowns?

Hunter all but accused his own father President Joe Biden of also being on the foreign take: “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family… Unlike Pop I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

Hunter’s alleged felonies range from bribery to tax evasion. That he has not yet been prosecuted for anything is scandalous. His exemption is attributable only to Attorney General Merrick Garland’s likely weaponized directives to federal prosecutors to downgrade or forget altogether felony charges against Hunter.

So given such wild behavior, why would not Hunter tone it down, stop the global grifting, cease the reckless behavior—and quit redirecting attention to the likely illegal acts of his father, the President?

Why did not Hunter early on just settle the child support suit filed by his paramour Lundeen Roberts? Why haggle over money for his own daughter?

Hunter instead outrageously claimed near poverty. That excuse was hilarious given he flies on private jets and pays nearly $16,000 a month to rent a house in tony, celebrity-ridden Malibu.

Why did Hunter ever get involved with a performance stripper in the first place after his past widely publicized liaisons with prostitutes? Why also with his own widowed sister-in-law?

Given Hunter has little or no experience or training in high-stakes international finance and investment—and thus has no market value as an investor or broker. But he was infamous for translating that nothingness into millions in lucre due solely to his ability to monetize the influence of then Vice President Joe Biden.

So why now when under 24/7 scrutiny, would Hunter dare recreate himself as an “artist,” by blowing through straws in his mouth?

His amateurish canvasses somehow have sold for up to $500,000 a pop. Both Biden donors and gamers saw their buys of such mediocre art as gambits either to meet with or profit from his father, Joe Biden.

But would not his painting grift only bring greater prosecutorial scrutiny, greater embarrassment to the president?

Hunter Biden’s attorneys sought to leverage federal prosecutors into agreeing to drop their charges—by threatening to call in as a pro-Hunter witness President Joe Biden himself and thereby likely invoke a constitutional crisis!

In such a scenario, the President under oath would be forced to lie again that he had no knowledge of or involvement in Hunter’s illegal behavior. Or if he admitted the truth that he did, he would thus contradict years of his adamant denials.

Why would Hunter put his father and president in such a publicity circus?

Hunter has lost an incriminating laptop by abandoning it at a repair shop. He has forgotten his crack pipe in a rental car. His illegally registered handgun turned up in a trash dumpster near a school.

So would not the carefree Hunter insist that all the Bidens in the spotlight remain extra careful never to abandon incriminating drugs—especially in the White House.

Yet in a West Wing first, recently cocaine was found lost in an entrance vestibule. Various media outlets claimed it belonged to someone in the “Biden family orbit.”

One of two things explain the continuous reckless behavior of wayward son Hunter Biden:

One, he is either still on drugs or so suffers from past addiction that he has lost all common sense and judgment, and simply cannot control his behavior.

Or, two, Hunter is an embittered, angry son. As the Biden bagman for foreign shakedown cash, he did the dirty work and most risked the legal exposure that made all the Bidens rich.

Yet, instead of familial praise—or so the broke Hunter seems to whine on his laptop—Hunter gets no respect from those he enriched.

And now he, not they, might first go to jail.

As a result, does his continuous recklessness send a not so-subtle reminder to all the Bidens—his father the “Big Guy” especially?

That is, Hunter is not going to take the fall. He will not end up in prison for decades while the other exempt Bidens continue to enjoy their ill-gotten riches, due to Hunter’s imaginative cons.

No wonder the first family for months moved Hunter into the White House and put him on Airforce One.

Is it now, “Keep Hunter close and self-important—or else”?

Biden Cancels Previously Issued ANWR Oil and Gas Leases in Alaska

24 hours before Joe Biden announced he was cancelling all previously issued oil and gas leases in Alaska’s ANWR region, Saudi Arabia and Russia announced oil production limits would continue.  Oil prices spiked near $100/bbl and then Joe Biden amplifies the problem by cancelling previously sold oil and gas leases.

There’s no other way to look at the timing here, other than to accept this is Joe Biden intentionally driving up the cost of domestic energy in the U.S. and creating as much pain as possible.

(Reuters) – Sept 6 (Reuters) – The U.S. Interior Department on Wednesday said it would cancel oil and gas leases in a federal wildlife refuge that were bought by an Alaska state development agency in the final days of former President Donald Trump’s term.

President Joe Biden, a Democrat, has pledged to protect the 19.6 million-acre (7.9 million-hectare) Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) for polar bears and caribou.

“As the climate crisis warms the Arctic more than twice as fast as the rest of the world, we have a responsibility to protect this treasured region for all ages,” he said in a statement.

Trump’s Republican administration had issued the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) seven leases a day before Biden’s inauguration.

Environmentalists praised the decision, but it was lambasted by a Republican Senator from Alaska, where officials have sought to open up drilling in the reserve to secure jobs and revenues for the state.

The government also said it would forbid new leasing on more than 10 million acres in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, a 23-million-acre area on the state’s North Slope that is the largest undisturbed public land in the United States. (read more)

WHITE HOUSE – […] Canceling all remaining oil and gas leases issued under the previous administration in the Arctic Refuge and protecting more than 13 million acres in the Western Arctic will help preserve our Arctic lands and wildlife, while honoring the culture, history, and enduring wisdom of Alaska Natives who have lived on these lands since time immemorial. From day one, I have delivered on the most ambitious climate and conservation agenda in our country’s history. But there is more to do… (link)

Democrats Have No Choice but to Bring Back COVID

It's that time again. The 2024 presidential election season is just getting underway. The candidates are out there giving their stump speeches and making their case for why they should be the next president to the American people. For a variety of reasons, we will be talking about the 2020 election for many years to come. It will stand out as one of the most unusual elections in American history, primarily because of the COVID-19 outbreak. But using the "never let a crisis go to waste" principle, Democrats managed to achieve their goal of removing former President Donald Trump from office using — yes using, let's call it what it is — the COVID pandemic. But in 2024, it is a new day, and Democrats have a whole new set of problems going into 2024. Their best option: Bring back COVID-19.

On the plus side for Democrats, Joe Biden did what Democrats wanted him to do: get rid of Donald Trump. The question of whether there were voting "irregularities" is not the issue. The goal was achieved. Trump was out, and Biden was in. But as is usual with Democrats, they never seem to be able to look much beyond next week, and it tends to come back to bite them. They are perpetually Wile E. Coyote, always opening that box from the Acme Dynamite Company. Now, in the run-up to 2024, even though he says he is running, it is becoming more apparent with each wandering trip he takes off a stage that Joe Biden's mental faculties are dwindling fast. His legal issues, both his own and those intertwined with his son Hunter, are going to do nothing but heat up and will become very uncomfortable for Democrats. The end of the year could see Democrats looking to dump Joe. Enter problem number one for Democrats.

What to do? Well, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has already stopped by the White House to measure the drapes but insists he is not running. But when Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity asked him outright, he wouldn't answer. If, for whatever reason, Joe Biden were to drop out of the race (and the easiest reason of all for them to cite would be "health reasons"), and Democrats were to go with Newsom, enter problem number two. Vice President Kamala Harris told a reporter in Jakarta, Indonesia, this week that she would be ready to go if Joe Biden could not complete his term in office. Besides the fact that she seemingly cannot complete even a word salad of a sentence without giggling, if Democrats so much as look like they are contemplating moving the white guy with the hair gel ahead of the black woman, well, let's just say that would not be pretty. The Biden people have already headed that off at the pass, saying such a move would be...wait for it...racist. Joe Biden picked her to be his Veep because she was a black woman, but because Democrats love identity politics, they are stuck with her for the same reason.

Problem number three is the fact that a new CNN poll shows that 67 percent of Democrat and Democrat-leaning voters want someone other than Biden to be the nominee. Of those polled, 46 percent said any Republican nominee would be better than Biden, 58 percent say Biden's economic policies have been bad for the country, and 70 percent say things are going badly in the country. A CNN/SSRS poll shows that in addition to Trump, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Scott, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie would all beat Biden. But wait, could COVID 2.0 be some sort of backup plan?

Democrats were no doubt sure that Donald Trump would be in jail at this point for something. But four indictments and 91 charges later, his poll numbers keep going up. They, along with their media accomplices, are beginning to panic, realizing that not only could Trump be the Republican nominee, but he might actually get reelected. That panic is also a sure sign that maybe they are not completely confident in all of those indictments. If they are totally sure Trump is going to prison, why do they need a backup plan?

Never mind if they will need it; they already appear to be putting it into place. On the heels of the cold and flu season, there are conveniently — at least for Democrats — new variants of COVID being detected. Last week, First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID, and recently, an elementary school in Montgomery County, Maryland, reinstituted mask mandates for students. So, what do Democrats get out of a sequel to COVID? Plenty. Joe gets to stay in his basement again, the return of mail-in voting, and ballot harvesting, and best of all, no massive Trump rallies. Voila, problem solved.

Fortunately, some Republicans are seeing this for what it is: more election interference. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is expected to introduce a bill that would ban federal officials from issuing mask mandates in public schools, domestic air travel, or public transportation. But if Democrats decide to stick with Joe Biden, regardless of what kind of condition he is in, they may see pulling the COVID trigger as their only option, but it will have a very different result.

President Trump Takes Commanding 50 Point Primary Lead at 62% – Gains Largest Polling Lead Against Biden 42/37

Premise Polling conducted by 538 Project [DATA HERE] shows President Donald Trump with a commanding 50-point lead over the rest of the field.   President Trump holds 62% of primary voters, while Ron DeSantis shrinks even further to 12%.   This poll, along with all the state polls show a similar trend pattern.  He would win all the delegates in the key primary states.

In a head-to-head matchup with only Trump and DeSantis, President Trump crushes the Florida Governor 67% to 24%.  The demographics are again consistent with Trump dominating every subset of voter and DeSantis holding tepid support from rich white men over 55, with graduate degrees who say they don’t follow politics.

This poll reflects an almost identical outcome to the Wall Street Journal polling released a few days ago.

Additionally, in this poll President Trump is easily beating Joe Biden 42/37, while Joe Biden beats Ron DeSantis 35/33.

There are too many aligned datapoints now showing almost identical outcomes.  This reality is likely why DeSantis PAC senior official Jeff Roe recently said the next 30 to 60 days were do or die for the DeSantis operation.  They are simply running out of money.

Despite Media Pearl-Clutching, Paxton Has A Clear Path To Beating Impeachment

At the end of the day, Ken Paxton’s team only needs to persuade two to four jurors to beat the impeachment.

AUSTIN — In Texas, the impeachment trial of popular Attorney General Ken Paxton has gotten off to its historic start. The state has never impeached an AG before, and the last time a statewide elected official was removed from office was in 1917 — more than 100 years ago.

For many in corporate media, the day of trial was a long time coming. For more than a decade, Paxton and his wife, Sen. Angela Paxton, have been relentlessly pursued in the press on allegations of misconduct and impropriety.

“The End Is Near for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton,” reads a Wall Street Journal headline. “Ken Paxton’s team said there was no evidence to support impeachment. The House published nearly 4,000 pages,” crooned the Texas Tribune. The overwhelming negativity from establishment media has led many to assume the impeachment trial in the Senate would lead to the forgone conclusion: Paxton’s conviction and removal from office.

Why wouldn’t it? Especially considering how the Texas House, under the leadership of moderate Speaker Dade Phelan, R-Beaumont, forced the body to vote on 20 articles of impeachment less than 72 hours after revealing that a secret investigation into Paxton had been taking place behind the scenes.

However, contrary to the prognostications of commentators and the wishes of the press corps, the first day of trial showed that Paxton has a very clear and very attainable path to victory.

In order to convict the attorney general and remove him from office, two-thirds of the Senate must agree. While Sen. Paxton will be recused from casting a ballot for or against her husband, she is permitted to remain on the floor, meaning that out of the 31 senators, Paxton needs only 10 to vote for his acquittal.

During pretrial, Paxton requested that the 20 articles be dismissed in a variety of motions. Although none reached the majority vote needed to throw anything out, the totals boded more positively for Paxton than most pundits realized.

Six members voted in Paxton’s favor on every single motion, while two more sided with him for many of the motions. This means that Paxton already has six out of his needed 10 votes, with two more being a strong likelihood.

Moreover, on several motions to dismiss particular articles, Paxton secured nine votes and even reached 10 votes in one instance. While that did not reach the threshold to dismiss the article of impeachment, 10 votes would be enough to acquit him. At the end of the day, Paxton’s team only needs to persuade two to four jurors to beat the impeachment.

After the pretrial matters were settled, the parties gave their opening statements. It became immediately clear that Paxton’s team was there to win.

His two high-powered and energetic defense attorneys, Tony Buzbee and Dan Cogdel, told the senators that many of the allegations they had heard in the press would be easily disproved. They walked through several of the articles, highlighting exculpatory information.

Buzbee specifically highlighted Paxton’s unparalleled record in advancing conservative causes in the courts and defending Texas against the Obama and Biden administrations. The opening framed the impeachment as an attempt by establishment Republicans and Democrats to oust the effective attorney general. The senators were seen to be actively taking notes and engaged in the defense’s arguments.

On the other hand, Rep. Andrew Murr, R-Junction, the chief impeachment manager and the person responsible for the investigation into Paxton, gave a short and anemic opening statement that did not seem to land well with the audience.

The next few weeks will see hours of testimony and vigorous legal arguments as Paxton fights to preserve his political career in Texas. Ultimately, however, out of the nearly 30 million people in Texas, Ken Paxton has to persuade only 10, and he is well on his way.

Paxton Impeachment Defense Attorney Cuts Right to the Heart of It, Bush Family Influence

As the second day of the impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton took place, his lawyer Tony Buzbee brought immediate sunlight onto the motives of those who want Paxton removed.

Ken Paxton defeated George P. Bush in the primary race.  The Bush clan and professional republicans in the Texas political circle were not happy.

Jeff Mateer was the Asst. AG when Paxton took office; Mateer is part of the professional republican apparatus who did not like Paxton, and Mateer became a whistleblower against his boss.  In this soundbite Tony Buzbee puts the timeline of activity in front of Mateer, including the date that George P Bush reactivated his law license.  WATCH:

Accuser Admits He and Seven Bush Allied Cohorts Secretly Went to FBI
to Report Ken Paxton Without Any Evidence of Wrongdoing

People are discovering why I have said for several years that Texas is a Red State citizenry led by a majority of Blue cloaked politicians.  The establishment Republicans are thick in Texas, led by the Bush tribe and Karl Rove – the exact same group that supports the con that is Ron DeSantis.

The third day of the Senate impeachment trial of Attorney General Ken Paxton continues today, with the group of deputy attorneys in his office (the Bush Clan) admitting they went running to the FBI for investigative support against Paxton, despite having no evidence of wrongdoing.  WATCH:

Notice how all of the AG office witnesses look exactly like George P. Bush?  They are clones.

Paxton’s crime was easily defeating George P. Bush, which triggered all of the corrupt GOPe appointees, bureaucrats and politicians.

Biden Pursues Vindictive 'Remain in Texas' Immigration Policy as the Statue of Liberty Weeps

Bonchie reporting for RedState

On Wednesday, Mayor Eric Adams decried the influx of illegal immigrants coming to New York, claiming that the "migrants" would destroy his city. He cited a budget deficit of $12 billion as officials struggle to house and transport those who have arrived via the bussing campaigns of Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis.

Perhaps the Biden administration heard his cries, but instead of doing the rational thing, i.e. securing the border, the president is considering a vindictive "Remain in Texas" policy.

This may be the largest example of NIMBYism in American history. Democrats are happy to have illegal immigrants flood border states, but the moment those illegal immigrants head to liberal playgrounds in the Northeast, suddenly they want to put in place policies to stop it. The Statue of Liberty is weeping right now, at least according to the rhetoric left-wingers have used in the past. I don't recall the poem at the base reading "give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, except they have to stay in El Paso."

Adams complained about having to absorb 120,000 illegals in his speech. That's nothing compared to what Texas has had to deal with, yet Biden's idea is to overwhelm the state even further. Why? Because Biden has never cared what happens to people in red states. It's the same reason he still hasn't visited East Palestine, OH, but he's on the ground within days of any mass shooting that occurs. Everything for the president is about politics, to the extent that he can't even process such matters anymore.

With that said, there's every reason to believe a "Remain in Texas" policy would be completely ineffective. How exactly would the administration even enforce that? CBP and ICE are already facing massive manpower shortages. Those agencies don't have the time to monitor released illegal immigrants to make sure they don't take a Greyhound to New York or Massachusetts.

Again, the solution remains simple: Secure the border.

In the meantime, Abbott and other Republican governors should keep the bussing campaign going. Biden may not even have the power to contain illegal immigrants in Texas. Push the issue. Keep the pressure on. Continue to make Democrats face the consequences of the policies they support.

House Judiciary Committee Launches Inquiry into Prosecutorial Abuses by Jack Smith's Office

Jennifer Van Laar reporting for RedState

The House Judiciary Committee announced Thursday afternoon that it has launched an inquiry into alleged prosecutorial abuses by the office of Special Counsel Jack Smith. Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to Smith.

Jordan's letter references reports that one of Smith's top deputies, Jay Bratt, acted improperly when trying to secure the cooperation of Trump valet Walt Nauta, who was eventually indicted. Nauta's attorney, Stanley Woodward, reported that Bratt first said Nauta had provided conflicting testimony to investigators and could be charged with giving a false statement, which Woodward disputed. Then Bratt switched tactics, essentially telling Woodward, "That's a nice application for a judgeship you've got there... it'd be a shame if something negative happened to it."

Jordan also referenced an August 2, 2023 filing in Nauta's case by Bratt in which Bratt alleged that there were "conflicts of interest presented by Mr. Woodward's representation of two other witnesses 'who could be called to testify at a trial in the case involving classified documents at Mar-a-Lago'" and "suggested that the court should 'procure independent counsel' to be present at the hearing 'to advise Mr. Woodward's clients regarding the potential conflicts'" - something the court has full authority and ability to do on its own.

Jordan asked Smith to produce documents and communications related to any appointment/meeting/visit by Woodward to DOJ concerning Nauta, documents and communication between/among the Office of the Special Counsel, Office of the Attorney General, or Office of the Deputy Attorney General related to Woodward and his representation of individuals "involved in the matters before" Smith, and documents and communication related to Woodward's judicial application.

Jordan instructed Smith to produce those materials as soon as possible but no later than close of business on September 21. It's likely that Smith will invoke the standard "this relates to a current/ongoing investigation and prosecution" as a way to avoid producing the documents, but hope springs eternal.
