Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham Disapprove of David Weiss

Ted Cruz Blasts AG Garland for Shielding Biden Family
With ‘His Patsy’ David Weiss

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz ridiculed Attorney General Merrick Garland’s machinations, such as making Delaware US Attorney David Weiss a special counsel, to protect President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and his son R. Hunter Biden in his most recent episode of the podcast “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” which dropped Aug 21.

“The idea that David Weiss is now the special prosecutor is utterly absurd,” said Cruz, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, to his podcast co-host Ben Ferguson.

Beyond being absurd, Cruz said Garland skated around Justice Department regulations when he gave Weiss his new title.

Appointing David Weiss is, on its face, objectively illegal because he is a sitting U.S. Attorney, so he doesn't meet the DOJ guidelines of being from outside the DOJ. But Merrick Garland wants him; he knows he has his patsy here. He knows he has a guy that will protect Joe Biden no matter what.

“David Weiss, when he was leading this investigation, was prepared to sign off on zero charges whatsoever for criminal conduct that Hunter Biden unquestionably had committed,” he said.

Cruz, a graduate of Harvard Law School, said he dismissed the idea that Weiss, who ran the case against Hunter for the previous five years, would suddenly become a hard-edged prosecutor now that he is a special counsel.

David Weiss was perfectly prepared to give not just the sweetheart deal but the super, super sweetheart deal, the sweetheart deal where Hunter Biden pleads guilty to nothing. That's what Weiss was prepared to do. And it was under Weiss's leadership that the obstruction of justice occurred, that they gave repeatedly heads up to Hunter Biden to enable him to frustrate the investigation. It was under David Weiss that DOJ officials inserted themselves into the investigation to make sure that zero questions were asked about Joe Biden.

The Texan said DOJ’s goal was never justice in the Hunter case.

The objective of the Department of Justice from day one was to protect President Joe Biden; it was a political objective. And by the way, that political objective is precisely the reason the Special Counsel law exists because when you have a political Attorney General, like Merrick Garland, they have political incentives.

Cruz said Hunter's failed plea deal betrays the degree to which Weiss was ready to wall off Hunter from future prosecution.

Sadly, and by the way, if you look at the draft wording of the agreement, let me read you some of it. "The Department of Justice agrees not to criminally prosecute Robert Hunter Biden and the affiliated businesses, namely: Owasco P.C.; Owasco LLC; and Skaneateles LLC, for any federal crimes arising from the conduct generally described in the attached statement of facts, or for any other federal crimes relating to matters investigated by the United States.”

It is important to point out that Hunter is obsessed with New York’s Finger Lakes, which is why he uses Finger Lake names, such as Skaneateles and Owasco, as calling cards or toe tags.

This obsession is in full view whenever the president’s son takes off his shirt to reveal his back tattoo of the Finger Lakes topography.

Cruz said this walling off was designed to prevent the democratic process from working its influence; that is to say, political appointee Weiss was trying to prevent another political appointee from unwinding the deal.

This immunity that they were negotiating was designed to protect against that. What these emails going back and forth reveal is that Hunter's lawyers were terrified that in a couple of years, there would be a Republican president — and an attorney general who was not a Democrat partisan and a hack — and that Hunter would actually be prosecuted for what was indisputably a repeat pattern of felonies.

The senator said the staff prosecutors and the Hunter legal team worked together to prevent a Republican administration from making things right in two years.

“Garland and David Weiss were more than happy to go along with that.”

Lindsey Graham Joins Chorus of Calls for Removal
of David Weiss From Hunter Biden Case

The appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate a highly-charged political matter is never going to please everyone, of course. Most notably, the subject(s) of any such investigation and their avid supporters likely won't be keen on the appointment in general, and whoever is selected for the role is sure to draw scrutiny and criticism from those concerned he or she will pursue political ends (different from their own) rather than justice.

But the selection by Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss by Attorney General Merrick Garland to serve as Special Counsel regarding the Hunter Biden investigation was not only a day late and a dollar short, as they say, but fraught with potential conflicts of interest and plenty of grounds to question whether he can truly operate independently as the role requires.

As Bonchie noted when the appointment was announced:

Weiss remaining on the case is controversial given the allegations of corruption that have surrounded his office and the DOJ. A sweetheart plea deal that broke department protocol was originally given to Hunter Biden before a judge asked enough questions to expose it, leading to lawyers from both sides leaving empty-handed. Because of that ordeal, there’s not going to be much faith by many Americans in Weiss going forward that he will handle the case in an unbiased manner.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has now joined the chorus of calls to remove Weiss from the investigation and replace him with an independent actor. (See also: Grassley Declares Weiss Unfit for Special Counsel Job, Pledges Ongoing Congressional Investigation Into Biden Family Bribery.)

On Monday evening, Graham, citing the New York Times' Saturday deep dive into the collapse of Hunter Biden's plea deal, called for Weiss to be replaced:

An independent special counsel is needed in this case.

It is abundantly clear Mr. Weiss needs to be removed from the investigation of Hunter Biden. To say this has been botched is an understatement.

I have been calling for a new set of eyes on this case for quite a while. A huge cloud hangs over the Weiss investigative team and it will only go away when a new independent special counsel is appointed.

As we reported, both the Times and Politico were provided access to numerous email communications between Hunter Biden's lawyers and Weiss's office, which set forth efforts to reach a "resolution" of the investigation into Biden. Neither story elicits confidence that Weiss can objectively and effectively fulfill the Special Counsel role.

Then, too, there was the piece from the Washington Post on Sunday pointing out the fact that Weiss used to work alongside Hunter Biden's brother Beau when he served as Delaware Attorney General. As Bob Hoge observed:

Whenever a left-wing news outlet writes something negative about someone in Bidenworld, you have to wonder why. Is Hunter Biden Special Counsel David Weiss next to be thrown under the bus?

It's one thing for congressional Republicans like Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and now Graham to call for Weiss's dismissal. When media outlets like Politico, the New York Times, and the Washington Post start reporting critically on his efforts — even if their motivation for doing so may differ from the Republicans' — chances are better than even that his days in the role are numbered.

X22, And we Know, and more- Sept 4

Tomorrow is the end of another era: The last NCIS LA Season DVD comes out. 1 last time getting new deleted scenes, and the cast and crew talking about how much they enjoyed working. And yeah, the emotions are kind of coming in, and have been coming in for the last few days. 💔

I'd probably be handling this easier if you know, the other parts of the franchise were filming right now, but as you are very aware, The 2 most selfish groups in the whole country are at this moment, preventing that and any chance of any sort of update on Hetty!! So yeah, this is hitting harder then I thought it would because of all the damn uncertainity in the air right now!! 😭

I'm still holding on to my impossible sounding dream of a sequel of sorts, but right now, I'm emotional because everything looks so final right now, and I have no clue on what the future holds, or when or if I'll ever see Linda in anything new again. 💔💔

And to just add on to the emotional train of thought, here is the most emotional part (for me anyways) of ET's wonderful Series Finale tribute from back in May:

Look How Google Shoos You Away From The Biden Family Biz And Other Big News

Google’s ‘come back later’ message wasn’t an invitation to see the truth about the Biden family. It was an attempt to hide it.

While fact-checking for a Federalist article early Monday morning, I did a quick Google search for “hunter biden joe biden ‘an absolute wall.’”

It’s the language now-President Joe Biden used during the 2020 campaign to allege a separation between his vice-presidential duties and his son’s overseas work for the family business. It’s back in the news after the House Oversight Committee on Thursday asked the National Archives and Records Administration for unredacted communications containing three of Joe Biden’s vice presidential pseudonyms: Robert Peters, Robin Ware, and JRB Ware.

Google, however, apparently didn’t want me to find too much information — at least not from certain sources.

“It looks like the results below are changing quickly. If this topic is new, it can sometimes take time for reliable sources to publish information,” Google alerted me, prompting me to make sure the source is “trusted on this topic” and maybe just to “come back later.”

Here’s the thing: This isn’t a new topic; it’s four years old. It was all the way back in August 2019 that Biden was making the “absolute wall” pledge, according to contemporaneous articles from regime-approved media such as Politico. More than “a few hours or days” have passed.

So why did Google want me to come back later? Perhaps because in 2023, Biden’s “absolute wall” resembles the one on our southern border or surrounding the biblical Jericho: at best easily penetrable and at worst completely tumbled down.

Now that his campaign promise has been exposed as utter horse pucky — just check the receipts, whistleblower testimony, texts from Hunter Biden, assertions from former Biden family business partners, “highly credible” FBI source evidence, and more — the only journalists covering it, consistently and without burying the lede, are outside of Big Tech-boosted leftist media.

Yet those excellent reporters aren’t the types tech giants consider “reliable” or “trustworthy,” due entirely to their political leanings. Those labels are reserved for the media laundering juicy disinformation straight from the “Big Guy’s” DOJ and Hunter’s lawyers.

If the 2024 election cycle is anything like the last one, this is exactly the kind of foul play we now expect from Big Tech. Recall some of the many ways tech oligarchs interfered in the 2020 election. Remember when Google allegedly disproportionately sent 2020 GOP campaign emails to spam folders?

Perhaps worst of all, social media giants colluded with the FBI to make sure the fewest possible people could see or share the bombshell story about Hunter Biden’s laptop (which the FBI knew was authentic). That true story implicated then-candidate Joe Biden in a pay-to-play scheme.

One poll showed more than 1 in 6 Biden voters would have changed their votes had they been aware of some of the damning stories suppressed by Silicon Valley gatekeepers. That would have been enough to tip the election.

If that weren’t enough, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into local government elections offices in the blue areas of swing states to get out the Democrat vote in 2020.

Then to keep people from questioning the most rigged and irregular election in U.S. history, tech giants removed the posts and accounts of incredulous social media users, including even the sitting president of the United States.

Big Tech’s warfare goes far deeper than a single election, too. As the gatekeepers of information, tech giants control public opinion and drive traffic to certain sources and away from others with algorithmic manipulation.

YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter habitually nuke speech leftists don’t like, often relying on deceptive fact-checks and colluding with the U.S. government to do so. Google, Twitter, and other tech overlords have shadowbanned conservative thinkers.

In one particularly brazen anti-expression act, when The Federalist criticized media coverage of George Floyd’s death and the violent Black Lives Matter arsonists and vandals in 2020, Google worked with left-wing media to demonetize this website.

Now another presidential election is right around the corner, and the stage is set. Democrats and left-wing prosecutors are waging endless lawfare against Trump, the far-and-away GOP frontrunner, to keep him out of office again. Meanwhile, more scandalous information about the Biden family business is brought to light by hard-working congressional investigators and whistleblowers by the day.

For what it’s worth, I checked back about 12 hours after my initial query to see if any other sources Google considered “reliable” had gotten around to publishing something new on Biden’s “absolute wall.” Nada. “Results below are changing quickly,” my arse.

That’s because Google’s little “come back later” message wasn’t an invitation to see the truth about Biden. It was an attempt to hide it. More than that, it was a reminder as we embark on another election season: Big Tech doesn’t need to be told to prop up the regime’s candidate. It already knows its job and is happy to oblige.

Iowa Republican Party Begins to Make Their Move Against MAGA – Reminder of The Core Battle

Before outlining the moves of the GOPe/RNC/RGA as they are unfolding in Iowa, it is absolutely critical for people to understand the landscape of American politics.

The functional mission of the UniParty apparatus is not based on ideology; the core and consequential baseline revolves around the business of American politics and the motives of the people who control the institutions within it.  For this outline I focus only on the Republican wing, the GOP corporation, one side of the professional business apparatus.

WRITE THIS DOWN and force yourself to remember it every day.  “The Republican Party priority is to retain their business, to control the outcomes, and this has nothing to do with winning elections.”  The RNC would rather lose elections and retain power, than win elections and lose operational control over the apparatus.

In the past several decades, the motive of a Republican or Democrat politician advancing their influence by running for political office has absolutely nothing to do with representing the interests of the American people.  Nothing.  Their interests are to engage within the business of politics, while presenting themselves as qualified actors to retain the premise of political service.  This is why they will spend $10 million to win an office that only pays $400k/yr.

The business of buying, selling and controlling policy, is the core operation of people within the US political system.  As an outcome, the business has two wings – the RNC and the DNC.  Two private corporations inside the political industry who are in place to retain the overall business model.  The RNC and DNC are both funded by the same interests, banks, corporations, Wall St interests, and even foreign interests who purchase outcomes.

The RNC and DNC are two operational wings inside the industry of politics.  The are in the same business, but they have slightly different business models.

The Republicans (RNC) want money, the Democrats (DNC) want power.  The Republicans use power to get money, the Democrats use money to get power.  The donor activity of the Republicans drives their agenda.  The agenda of the Democrats drives their donor activity.  It is a subtle nuance, but once you really understand it, everything falls into place.

The Republican politicians are ambivalent to the outcomes of the Democrats.  The Republican group only cares about the money.  Threaten the power of the Democrats and you get a toxic and violent response.  Threaten the money of the Republicans and you get exactly the same level of response.

Democrats are triggered when you threaten their power, their ability to control.  Republicans are triggered when you threaten their money, their ability to enrich.

The primary of 2024 is the election season when we see firsthand this corporate battle explode inside in the Republican group.  Decades of entrenched power are at stake, and there have been four years of counter positioning and backroom discussion leading up to this moment.

As a consequence, and I know this might sound odd to many people – but winning and/or losing elections becomes a secondary issue.  The people who control the RNC as a private corporation, the people who fund the business, are not focused on winning elections. The RNC corporation is focused on retaining mission control.

The RNC want to give the illusion of support for MAGA conservatism, because the illusion of choice requires a base voter.  However, every move they make on an operational level is exactly in line with their previous outlook toward cocktail-class corporate republicanism.  The MAGA base of support cannot trust this corporate group, and we must not be blind or unguarded about the Machiavellian schemes they construct.

Donald Trump is not a problem for the Republican Party; Donald Trump is our response to the problem within the Republican Party.

Republicans are far more violent, hate-filled and vitriolic than Democrats when their money is threatened.  As long as the money is not threatened, Republicans happily play the game and permit the Democrats to purchase their votes and support.  However, threaten the money of the Republicans, and they will be the very first to go nuclear… including the intentional loss of any/all elections in order to preserve their stake.

This dichotomy, ambivalence and illusion, is what you saw in the 2018 midterms, 2020 general and 2022 midterms from the professional Republicans.  The MAGA team, who identify as Republicans as a method for ballot entry, are the only ones who will fight to change this dynamic.  Therefore, the Republican Party views the MAGA insurgents as the enemy that must be removed.

Now, to Iowa…

The Republican Party of Iowa Central Committee has refused to set a date by which a voter must choose Republican voter affiliation in order to participate in the January 15 caucus.  The private club is positioning to block the MAGA insurgency and advance the DeSantis operation; because if the approved RNC candidate doesn’t win in Iowa, Godzilla Trump will take the momentum and destroy the club.

The result is that Iowa Democrats (who have screwed up their own caucuses, so they will be free on Jan. 15) will swarm the Republican caucuses to cause mischief.  Iowans, who are not stupid, know exactly what “mischief” means in this context.  At best it means a rough night and some bruises.  At worst, ask Joe Biggs.

This is an inside job by the Republican Party of Iowa.  During the legislative session earlier this year, they were all set to pass a bill setting the deadline for registration at 70 days prior to the caucus date.  Then, suddenly, the “lawyers” said legislators had to take that provision out, and that the Republican Party of Iowa would handle it by resolution.

The private corporation needs control.

As we have witnessed in Georgia, watch the professional party apparatus in Iowa align with a singular mission, to protect their business model.

In Iowa – the SEA ISLAND DeSantis crew have funded and planted Asa Hutchinson and Mike Pence to camp out.  They are supported by Governor Kim Reynolds.  The goal is to use the Jeff Roe Cruz Crew, and roughly 1,000 paid Never Back Down (NBD) conscripts to do the Astroturf.

Let me emphasize a key point.  The Republican Party is not positioning to win the 2024 election. The goal of the Republican Party is to remove the threat represented by Donald Trump.  When you start there, all of the RNC weaknesses or flaws look very different, very purposeful.

Donald J. Trump isn’t the cause of the Republican failure; he is the result of their failure.

The people in control of Republican Club do not care who is in the White House, that is a secondary objective.  What they care about right now is controlling the Republican corporation and stopping the hostile takeover.

Russian military pilot reportedly defects to Ukraine with helicopter

Russian military pilot reportedly defects to Ukraine with helicopter

Flight was culmination of intelligence operation, Ukrainian military sources tell newspaper, but Russian blogger claims pilot got lost

  • A Russian military helicopter has landed in Ukraine, reportedly after the pilot was convinced to defect in a six-month intelligence operation.

A Russian military blogger said a helicopter had crossed the border with three people on board “a couple of weeks ago”, but claimed the aircraft had lost its way.

The twin-engine Mi-8 AMTSh was on a flight between two airbases, transporting parts for Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets, Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported, citing defence intelligence sources.

The pilot’s family had already been moved to Ukraine as part of the defection operation and he would join them, it said. Both crew members were killed, the Russian blogger and Ukrainian reports said.

A spokesperson for Ukraine’s military intelligence appeared to confirm that the aircraft had landed in Ukraine, but in line with government reticence about intelligence operations, did not give any details.

“There will be official information. We need to wait a little bit – we are working on it, including with the crew,” said Andriy Yusov told state television.

The news about a possible pilot defection came days after a drone attack destroyed a supersonic Russian bomber on an airfield hundreds of kilometres from Ukraine.

Russia’s airforce has been among the most destructive parts of its war machine, even though it has not been able to take control of the skies over Ukraine.

Russian jets and helicopters launch missiles and unguided bombs at civilian targets, and the support they provide to frontline troops has made it harder for Ukrainian forces mounting a counteroffensive to push through Russian defences.

Since the start of the war, Ukraine has pressed western allies to provide better air defences and aircraft to protect the country. That campaign culminated in a pledge of dozens of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark and the Netherlands earlier this week.

The planes will be handed over in tranches after pilot training has been satisfactorily completed, but because the new crews have to improve their English before learning to fly and maintain the jets, that will not happen until well into next year.

Ukraine’s small air force is currently made up of Soviet-standard planes that can run only a dozen or so low-risk combat missions a day because they are outnumbered by their Russian equivalents.

Although Moscow uses its own jets relatively conservatively in frontline areas, the size of its air force means it poses a far greater threat.

In the context of Russia’s large fleet, the defection of a highly trained pilot – after a successful Ukrainian intelligence mission – would be a more significant military blow than the loss of a single helicopter through crew error.

The cross-border flight was presented as an accident by Russian blogger Fighterbomber, who runs a Telegram channel with close links to Russia’s air force.

“The crew, for some reason, lost their bearings and crossed the border,” he said, confirming that the image circulating in Ukrainian media was that of the missing Mi-8.

“Realising where they landed, they made an attempt to take off, but were shot while the helicopter was on the ground. Presumably, two board members died and the commander was taken hostage.”

In a follow-up post, he dismissed claims the pilot’s family was in Ukraine, claiming to be in contact with relatives of all crew members.

Wealthy Democrats Aided and Abetted the Biden Border Crisis, Now They’re Whining About It

    Well-heeled Democrat-aligned CEOs
in blue sanctuary cities can cry me a river
about the migrant crisis they fomented.

Amid the scrum of news this week about Democrat-led schemes to put former President Donald Trump on trial during the GOP primaries and rig the 2024 election in plain sight, you might have missed a cautionary tale out of New York City, where Democrat millionaires are whining about a migrant crisis they helped create.

A group of more than 120 executives, including Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, Larry Fink of BlackRock, and Jane Fraser of Citigroup, sent a letter to the Biden administration and congressional leaders asking for more federal aid to New York, to help with what they call “the humanitarian crisis that has resulted from the continued flow of asylum-seekers into our country.”

Credit where credit is due: These wealthy New York executives seem to have figured out the connection between huge numbers of illegal immigrants — sorry, “asylum-seekers” — and the humanitarian crisis that always follows.

It’s a connection many of us made years ago, back when massive waves of illegal immigrants were overrunning Texas border towns and gathering in sprawling makeshift encampments along the north banks of the Rio Grande. Unable to house or even properly process these people, federal border officials resorted to dropping them off at bus stations in places like McAllen and Del Rio, Texas — relatively small towns with few resources to cope with the thousands of illegal immigrants released from federal custody, sometimes on a daily basis.

But so long as the chaos and crisis stayed in south Texas, Democrats in deep-blue enclaves like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles were happy to tut-tut anyone who claimed there was a problem at the border or suggested that maybe we should do something to stop the flow of illegal border-crossers. If you complained or proposed solutions, you were a racist — just like those Border Patrol horsemen with their “whips.” How dare they try to stop foreigners from illegally entering the country right in front of them?

But now that hotels and shelters are filled to overflowing in these cities, now that the crisis has come directly to open-border Democrats’ homes and places of work, wealthy urban elites want the government to do something about it. (A New York Times story this week mentioned that new arrivals are being forced to sleep outside over-capacity shelters, including one at the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown, “just blocks away from JPMorgan’s offices.”)

The New York letter, whose list of signatories includes people like Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and Wells Fargo CEO Charles Scharf, ends with a plea to Washington “to take immediate action to better control the border and the process of asylum and provide relief to the cities and states that are bearing the burdens posed by the influx of asylum seekers.”

Of course, to hear White House flack Karine Jean-Pierre tell it, President Biden is controlling the influx of migrants at the border and, in fact, has stopped the flow! She actually said that this week, even though as Bill Melugin of Fox News was quick to point out, it’s completely false.

Leaving aside idiotic White House spin, do the wealthy letter-signers of New York realize that one very effective way to “better control the border” is for state and local law enforcement to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to ensure illegal immigrants under an order of deportation by an immigration judge are actually deported? Do they know that kind of enforcement is a powerful deterrent to would-be illegal border-crossers abroad, and lack of such enforcement is a powerful pull factor that encourages more illegal immigration?

It would seem they do not. These are the same people, after all, who tacitly supported a 2019 law making it much easier for illegal immigrants to get a driver’s license in New York, thus shielding them from detection, while also prohibiting ICE and CBP from accessing New York DMV records.

Did the current Democratic mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, support this policy when it was introduced four years ago? He was a state senator for years; surely he knew about it. Today, Mayor Adams says that any plan to address the migrant crisis in his city that does not involve stopping the flow of illegal immigration at the border “is a failed plan.”

I hate to be the one to break it to him, but stopping the flow of illegal immigration at the border means taking away the incentives for people to illegally cross the border in the first place. Making it easy for illegal immigrants to get a driver’s license, for example, while helping to shield them from federal immigration authorities, is a recipe for more, not less, illegal immigration.

New York is of course only one state among many that has passed such laws. Indeed, a vast illegal immigrant sanctuary network has sprung up nationwide in recent years among blue cities, states, and counties that have enacted laws, ordinances, regulations, and policies that hinder immigration enforcement and shield criminal aliens from ICE.

Still, even amid the crisis, with migrant families sleeping on the streets of New York and other major cities, blue-state elites don’t quite seem to grasp what’s happening, which is why they aren’t demanding deportation but better processing and expedited work permits for “asylum-seekers” — policies that do nothing but provide more and stronger incentives for migrants to enter the United States illegally.

And make no mistake: Would-be migrants are acutely aware of the incentives and disincentives at work here. As Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies noted in a recent interview, “All U.S.-bound immigrants pay very, very close, almost academic attention, to any and all policy pronouncements uttered or implemented by American leaders about immigration. They also pay close attention to news of all immigration-related court rulings. The reason they are so disciplined is because this or that policy or court ruling either makes illegal entry easier or harder.”

Which means, in turn, that surges in illegal border-crossings of the kind we’ve seen since Biden took office — a record 2.3 million border arrests last year and on track for the same or greater this year — are driven almost entirely by policy decisions coming out of Washington, D.C., and legal rulings from the federal judiciary.

If New York millionaire Democrats paid half as much attention to border policy as illegal immigrants do, maybe they’d grasp what’s going on at the border, and why. Maybe they could then start to make sense of the anger and frustration of working- and middle-class residents of their cities, who increasingly show up at public meetings to express outrage at the migrant crisis. One woman, a Chicago resident speaking at a recent meeting about a migrant shelter in Hyde Park, was blunt about it: “I don’t want them there. Take them someplace else or send them back to Venezuela. I don’t care where they go. This is wrong. You got 73 percent of the people homeless in this city are black people. What have you done for them?”

Maybe, just maybe the wealthy elites who run our blue cities are beginning to wake up and realize that soon that woman’s question will be on the lips of every resident of New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and every other place where Democrats have helped create the conditions for this crisis.

Here’s hoping they can connect the dots. If they can’t, they can always go down to the local migrant shelter and have an asylum-seeker explain it to them.
