Smoke and Mirrors Middle East Diplomacy

The Biden administration manufactures 'wins' to bolster its abysmal foreign policy record

Despite recent media stories about two supposed Biden Administration foreign policy “wins” in the Middle East, a closer look indicates these wins are not what they seem and may harm U.S. national security.

One of the alleged wins concerns the Biden Administration’s effort to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. On August 9, the Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. and Saudi officials agreed to a framework for a deal under which Saudi Arabia would recognize Israel in exchange for Israeli, Saudi, and American concessions. Although Biden Administration officials said this agreement would take nine months to a year to finalize and faced long odds, they also described it as potentially “the most momentous Middle East peace deal in a generation.”

Another alleged Biden foreign policy win, announced on August 10, is a tentative deal to swap American and Iranian prisoners in exchange for unfreezing $6 billion of Iranian assets held by a South Korean bank. Biden officials said these funds would go through a Qatari bank to ensure they are used only for humanitarian purposes. Five Americans have been released from an Iranian prison under the deal but are under house arrest in Iran until an agreement allowing them to leave the country is finalized.

On the surface, both initiatives appear to be diplomatic breakthroughs. But a closer look indicates the Biden Administration is trying to claim credit for dubious, unfinished agreements and hide some dangerous details from the American public and Congress.

The alleged Saudi/Israel normalization agreement is years away if it ever occurs because it is based on many conditions that will be impossible to meet. Although Congress might agree to the enhanced security assurances that would be part of the agreement, it is very unlikely to approve Saudi Arabia’s demand that the U.S. help it develop a nuclear power program that includes uranium enrichment.

There are other major obstacles to a normalization agreement. For example, the Saudis want concessions from Israel to advance an eventual peace agreement with the Palestinians. Israeli officials say they are open to this but will not agree to a Saudi demand for Palestinian statehood. It is improbable that Palestinian leaders will agree to a new deal without this concession and probably will not agree to any agreement because of their long history of rejecting Israeli peace offers.

The Biden Administration also wants Saudi Arabia to substantially cut back its growing relationship with China as part of a normalization agreement, including not permitting China to establish military bases in the country, not using sensitive technology from Chinese companies like Huawei, and not allowing China to purchase oil with Chinese currency.

Although Saudi Arabia might agree to limit its military relationship with China, it is unlikely to make any significant concessions on its economic or energy relationships because China is Saudi Arabia’s top trading partner and the leading buyer of Saudi oil.

Moreover, Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS), the country’s de facto leader, is implementing more independent foreign and defense policies to make his country less reliant on the United States. The prince has doubled down on this effort since 2021 because the Biden Administration’s hostility toward Saudi Arabia made him question America’s reliability as an ally. As a result, MBS probably will not agree to curtail the growing Saudi relationship with China to get a normalization agreement and instead will continue to hedge his bets with the U.S. by building relationships with China and other American adversaries like Russia and Iran.

Because of these factors, a Saudi/Israel normalization agreement is unlikely for the foreseeable future.

The new agreement to swap American and Iranian prisoners is more problematic for two reasons.

First, the American prisoners are hostages freed by a $6 billion ransom payment. The U.S. repeatedly paying ransom to Iran to free innocent Americans has set a bad precedent that has emboldened Iran to take more American hostages.

This is at least the third time the U.S. has paid ransom to Iran to win the release of unjustly imprisoned Americans. In 2011, the Obama administration paid Iran $500,000 “bail” through Oman to win the release of three American hikers who accidentally wandered into Iranian territory and were charged with espionage. In 2016, the Obama administration paid Tehran $1.7 billion in the form of “pallets of cash” to free five Americans as part of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran (the JCPOA).

Second, as I discussed in an Aug. 4 American Greatness article, the U.S./Iran prisoner exchange is part of a new, secret agreement on Iran’s nuclear program that the Biden Administration is trying to hide from the American people and Congress.

Under the agreement, Iran reportedly will get $20 billion in sanctions relief and be permitted to enrich uranium to the near weapons-grade level of 60% uranium-235. Iran also will be allowed to keep all of its nuclear weapons-related infrastructure.

I agree with Caroline Glick, an Israeli foreign affairs analyst and journalist, who said during an Aug. 16 Newsmax TV panel that the Biden Administration’s new concessions on Iran’s nuclear program mean it has decided to enable Iran to become a nuclear-armed state but wants Tehran to delay its official entrance into the nuclear club until after the 2024 presidential election.

In addition, this secret deal reportedly is silent on Iran’s sale of drones and other weapons to Russia for its use in its war against Ukraine.

To conceal this agreement from the American people and evade a 2015 law requiring congressional oversight of nuclear agreements with Iran, the Biden administration negotiated it as a set of unwritten understandings. Many Members of Congress, including House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, have protested this arrangement as a ploy to circumvent congressional oversight and are demanding the Biden administration submit this new nuclear agreement for congressional review.

From the war in Ukraine, a surge in tensions with China, Iran, and North Korea, a new Chinese/Russian alliance, and other national security threats, Americans see the world as much more unstable and dangerous today than when President Trump left office. Biden officials know the American people blame President Biden’s foreign policy for this.

As a result, the Biden Administration is promoting the Saudi/Israel normalization agreement and the prisoner swap deal as major wins even though both agreements are unfinished and have significant drawbacks to manufacture wins to bolster its abysmal foreign policy record. Although the mainstream media is sure to swallow this line, because of the growing severity of foreign threats facing this country and the weakness of these Middle East initiatives, most Americans won’t be fooled.

#PhonySolidarityHasConsequences💪: Woke remake Season 2 renewal reversed at Amazon

Source: https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2023/08/19/amazon-cancels-woke-a-league-of-their-own-after-one-season-latest-queer-series-to-flop/

Amazon Studios has canceled A League of Their Own after just one season, making it the latest “queer” series to flop with audiences.

A League of Their Own had received an abbreviated second series order of four episodes but Amazon has scrapped those plans, according to multiple reports. Deadline claimed without citing sources that the cancellation is due to the ongoing actors and writers strikes that have brought Hollywood production to a standstill.

Like other streamers, Amazon doesn’t release viewership numbers. Despite heavy promotion, the show has failed to generate much hype since debuting last year and has all but vanished from the cultural conversation.

A League of Their Own was based on the popular 1992 Penny Marshall movie of the same name that followed the formation of an all-female baseball team during World War II.

Amazon’s series sought to woke-ify the premise by making some of the characters “queer,” making many of the main characters lesbians. The show featured gay sex scenes, with some sequences set in an underground gay bar run by another lesbian played by Rosie O’Donnell.

The show’s co-creator Abbi Jacobson claimed that the original movies is an “iconic gay film,” even though none of the characters is gay.

A League of Their Own is the latest “queer” series to flop with audiences.

Paramount+ recently nixed Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies after just one season. The series, inspired by the movie musical Grease, sought to impose an anachronistically woke interpretation on Rydell High School, creating lesbian kissing scenes and focusing on the racial identity politics of ethnic minority characters.

Disney+ recently canceled and removed its woke Willow series after just one season. Willow also imposed wokeness on what was a piece of family-friendly intellectual property. The series featured a lesbian romance between two main characters and cast a transgender “woman” in the role of a non-trans character.

GOP Primary Obviously Isn’t Over, but the First Debate Is Crucial

Republican voters want someone who will fight for them

If one is to believe the prevailing narrative from Donald Trump’s current campaign to retake the White House, the 2024 Republican presidential primary might as well be over. The former president has been consistently dominating the top-line horse race polling for months now, the argument goes, despite (or perhaps because of?) the fact he has now been criminally indicted four separate times, by three different prosecutors, in four different jurisdictions. Therefore, the Trump triumphalists shout from their rooftops, the other candidates should just drop out right now. “Spare your dignity and coronate Trump today!!!”

This argument is absurd for approximately a million different reasons.

First, and perhaps most important, the last time I checked the calendar, it still said, “August 2023.” While commentators, campaign operatives and political junkies with apparently nothing else better to do in their free time are already intensely following the Republican presidential primary, the same is simply not true for the vast majority of Americans who largely tune out the news during the dog days of summer. A political party’s first televised presidential primary debate marks the unofficial beginning of its normal, non-activist voter base paying attention in earnest. Yes, Trump has maintained a stubborn lead in the national horse race polls for months now. But it is still ridiculously early.

Second, and perhaps next important, it is totally unclear what shape Trump might find himself in six months from now, to say nothing of one year from now. Many of the former president’s “coronate him today!”-style enthusiasts tend to suppose, because of the thoroughly unjust nature of the ruling class’s sprawling multistate legal persecution of Trump, that he will be inevitably exonerated from all charges and acquitted of all legal woes.

Trump’s supporters are right on the unjustness of the Regime’s jihad against Trump – though the former president’s often-myopic conduct, from his ignoring a grand jury subpoena in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents retention case to the outlandish, infamous Jan. 2, 2021, phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in the Fulton County, Georgia case, makes it all-too easy for his foes. But Trump’s supporters are wrong about the very nature of these four indictments, each one of which necessarily involves a different judge and a different juror pool, and all of which present differing likelihoods of guilt, acquittal or some sort of ultimate plea deal. In the interim, furthermore, Trump will be strapped for time as he is forced to physically jet off to courtrooms in four jurisdictions, and his campaign and supporting super PAC will continue to have their coffers bled dry with ever-mounting legal bills.

Third, there is a low but non-zero possibility that, at some point next year, the result of at least one of these criminal cases will be Trump in handcuffs in a prison cell. This is truly the stuff of third-world banana republics, and no American patriot should wish this outcome no matter what his partisan leanings or candidate preferences may be. But we have already crossed the Rubicon here – reached the point of no return. It is all uncharted waters, henceforth. Trump will try to delay all four criminal trials until after the election season, but he will probably be unsuccessful in that effort. And while he could indeed pardon himself for his own federal crimes if he is found guilty in one (or both) of Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith’s two indictments and (against all odds) elected president again, he would have no such luck on the state-level charges – particularly in Georgia, the most perilous of all four indictments.

The idea that now is the time to coronate Trump as the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, therefore, is simply ridiculous. But Trump’s continued polling dominance, especially in national horse race metrics, is also undeniable. For that reason above all else, next week’s first GOP presidential primary debate in Milwaukee matters a lot to every other candidate not named “Donald Trump.” And it matters a lot regardless of whether Trump decides to show up for it – which is unclear, as of this writing.

Every Trump rival who will be in Milwaukee is presumably preparing in earnest for the big night, but the stakes are clearly highest for Trump’s top rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Despite sky-high (perhaps unreasonably high) expectations at the time of formal campaign launch and a supporting super PAC touting massive sums of cash on hand, the DeSantis operation has thus far underperformed at the national level. Partially, that can be blamed on the fact that DeSantis, who has an extraordinarily impressive gubernatorial track record and a telegenic young family seemingly made for Inauguration Day photo ops, has thus far been whacked with more negative advertising expenditures than Trump and incumbent President Joe Biden combined.

DeSantis will need to resist taking the inevitable debate moderator bait about the Mar-a-Lago-dwelling elephant in the room (or not in the room, as the case may be), and confidently redirect the conversation back to his own terrain. He will need to use his time on stage to tell his own compelling political story: someone who made the nation’s third-largest – and formerly purple – state a deep-red bastion, and who can similarly engender both economic recovery and restore civilizational sanity on the national stage, if given the opportunity. He will need to do this while simultaneously reminding people, perhaps when former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie inevitably attacks him, that he can be a bare-knuckle brawler when the time calls for it. DeSantis is the same man whose frequent COVID-era sparring with a deeply hostile Florida press corps made for many viral social media moments, after all.

Ultimately, Republican voters want someone who will fight for them – for their priorities and their values. And they need to be inspired to believe in someone. Barack Obama is in one sense the last person alive Republicans should take advice from, but perhaps there was a kernel of truth to be found in the success of his ubiquitous “Hope” branding from 2008.

Donald Trump remains the favorite to capture the Republican presidential nomination. He was always going to be. But this race is very, very far from over yet. As the aphorism from the world of sports goes, that’s why they play the game.

Ramaswamy's '10 Truths' Hit the Conservative Bullseye

Mike Miller reporting for RedState

Vivek Ramaswamy, the previously little-known 38-year-old multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur who has risen from relative political obscurity to the upper echelons of conservatism and the 2024 race for the Republican presidential nomination, on Thursday revealed his "10 truths" on social media.

The 10 Conservative Commandments? They should be; unshakably so.

As has proven to be his style, Ramaswamy wasn't afraid to wade into the hot-button issues of the radical left, right off the bat, beginning with "God is real," and "There are two genders."

  1. God is real.
  2. There are only two genders.
  3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
  4. Reverse racism is racism.
  5. An open border is no border.
  6. Parents determine the education of their children.
  7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
  8. Capitalism lifts people from poverty.
  9. There are three branches of government, not four.
  10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.

It occurred to me as I typed the above list that Vivek's "10 truths" constitute the foundational beginning of America, and devoid of any one of them, this country would not have become what it became — a country that the Democrat Party continues to try to destroy as we know it — insidiously so, and never-ending.

During a recent event at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California, Ramaswamy shared several details of his upbringing and his concern that the American Dream may not exist for further generations. Incidentally, Vivek was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.

My parents came to this country 40 years ago with no money. In a single generation, I have gone on to found multi-billion dollar companies and did it while marrying my wife, Apoorva, and raising our two sons. That is the American dream, and I am deeply worried that that American dream will not exist for my two sons and their generation.

Ramaswamy's revelations reveal not only hope for all Americans with a dream who are willing to work to achieve their dreams — but also a feeling of despair, given the efforts of the far-left to fundamentally change this country into a wealth-redistributing juggernaut the likes of which the world has never seen.

I'm reminded of a line from the lyrics of  "I'd Love to Change the World" by the classic 70s rock band, Ten Years After:

Tax the rich, feed the poor, til there are no rich no more.

The entire Democrat Party was seen vigorously nodding in approval. That is, except for taxing themselves. You know, the Democrat "Rules for thee, but not for me" thing.

Ramaswamy also shared his vision for keeping America strong on a recent Fox News appearance. One of the things that continue to impress me about this guy is his resolve. Politicians make promises, some of which they keep, some of which they have no intention of keeping. (See: "Joe Biden," "Democrat Party.")

In my not-so-humble opinion, Vivek Ramaswamy is the real deal.

Ain’t That a Peach, Ron DeSantis Holds Private Meeting with Brian Kemp in Georgia

The tripwire was clearly outlined before {GO DEEP} as all the indicators were in place.

If you have followed the background, the purpose of Ron DeSantis meeting privately today with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, is very clear.   Georgia is the fulcrum state of the 2024 Sea Island “Roadmap for Ron.”

(Via Politico) Ron DeSantis met privately with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Friday, the latest in his effort to fortify relationships with three Republican governors alienated by Donald Trump.

The meeting, at a hotel in Buckhead, Georgia, preceded DeSantis’ appearance at a gathering of presidential candidates hosted by conservative talk radio host Erick Erickson. The two talked for about 30 minutes and did not discuss an endorsement, according to two people familiar with the meeting.

[…] Kemp represents one of the most critical general election swing states in the country, and the meeting Friday comes on the heels of Trump’s indictment in the state.

Earlier this week, Kemp ripped into Trump’s false claims about voter fraud there, writing, “For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward — under oath — and prove anything in a court of law. Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.”

DeSantis, the Florida governor, is still running second to Trump in national Republican primary polls, though he has fallen further behind.

In their meeting Friday, DeSantis and Kemp discussed DeSantis’ recent appearance at the Iowa State Fair and the first primary debate next week, according to the two people familiar with the conversation. They also talked about what it’s like to campaign with family members on the road and about college football.

It’s the second time in recent months that DeSantis has met with Kemp. He also huddled with the governor at the Georgia statehouse earlier this year. (more)

Georgia examples include the Sea Island reference points, the Mike Pence rally to support Kemp, George W Bush rallying support for Kemp, the intentional non requests for Trump ’22 campaigning, True the Vote’s Catherine Englebrecht documenting the systemic vote system corruption by Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp and his entire administration, or the MSM push to use Kemp as an example of a Trump slayer.

You guys already know the background of Georgia grassroots activists booing Kemp at the state convention, and the recent issue of Brian Kemp adviser Cody Hall joining team DeSantis while remaining a Kemp advisor.

The Sea Island group of billionaires, influence agents, GOPe politicians, multinationals, Wall Street hedge funds and corporate Republicans are manipulating the events in Georgia to support the roadmap that contains their nominee, Ron DeSantis.

Control is the key in these totalitarian illusions of democracy.  If Fani Willis is targeting the group who organize against the interests of Brian Kemp and the Republican club leadership, she is doing them a favor.  Brian Kemp and his Republican Party crew support corrupt District Attorney Fani Willis, just like former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell supported U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in the targeting of the Tea Party (2011, 2012).  The alignments are exactly identical.

Again, for reference, this is not a short-term issue.  This is a long-term construct on behalf of the right-wing of the UniParty and the Bush clan apparatus to remove the threat of MAGA politics from their controlled party.

DeSantis is a tool, a willing vessel for these interests. The benefit DeSantis provides is not contained in his winning the 2024 primary, but rather in stopping Donald Trump from winning it.

In 2010, the Tea Party caught the corporate Republican Party off guard; they reassembled their machinery, and then attacked and removed the Tea Party influence in 2012.  In 2016, the counterinsurgent Tea Party base found a way to fight back with Donald Trump; we reassembled and added more support from the middle and working class around the America First agenda and defeated Wall Street Republicans again.  However, every moment thereafter has been this battle between the party control operatives and the MAGA insurgents.

That battle has continued, and Georgia is the latest visible evidence of the war raging in the background.

We told you this was going to be very ugly, and it is unfolding exactly as we would expect.

It will get worse, much worse.

Cowboy up!

Kirby's New Shameful Response About Kabul Airport Bombing Digs the Hole Even Deeper

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

We've covered Joe Biden's apparent lack of empathy in response to the disaster that happened in Maui, saying "No comment" with a smirk, and then on Thursday, insisting he didn't want to talk about his planned trip to Hawaii on Monday.

But that isn't the first time he -- and his administration -- have displayed that attitude. We saw the Gold Star parents speak recently about how upset they were over their children having been killed at the Abbey Gate bombing at the Kabul airport during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and yet, they got no answers from the Biden administration — and particularly the callous way in which Joe Biden dealt with them, checking his watch, and even telling them his son died in action as well.

On Thursday, CNN's Jake Tapper asked National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications in the White House John Kirby if Joe Biden was going to talk with any of the Gold Star families or talk about what happened. Kirby's response was shameful.

"He certainly has talked about Afghanistan and the decision to withdrawal and the evacuation and how it was conducted," Kirby said.

That wasn't even responsive to the question being asked. How can you duck a question about talking to the families? But that's exactly what he did. That's just simply shameful when you treat families that way, as though they aren't worthy of your respect or time, and you're treating their children who gave their lives for this country as though they are expendable. Yes, Biden has spoken about the withdrawal -- without ever admitting the bad decisions he made. This makes one very concerned that it could happen again and holds no one -- including himself -- to account for any of the failures.

But if Kirby could make his response to the question worse, he did so with the next answer to Tapper.

Tapper told him how Sgt. Taylor Hoover's mother described the messages she got from her son during that time -- that it was chaos, that the "chain of command was unclear," and they were "sitting ducks." Tapper said a lot of people were concerned about how the withdrawal was conducted.

Kirby's answer was incredible. He said that CENTCOM did a "pretty exhaustive investigation into this" and that "barring any decision that could have impacted mission success, there wasn't much that could be done to prevent that attack from coming, as tragic as it was."

What a cold-hearted response to a Gold Star mother's plea for answers.

Not to mention that that's just not true. All of this would have been prevented by a competent withdrawal.  It could have been prevented by holding on to Bagram and defending that, a much more defendable position, as my colleague Matt Dempsey has observed in a great post

The Kirby clip went viral and was excoriated by people, saying what a horrible person he was. Imagine any former military person throwing the military under the bus like this to defend Biden. But John Kirby has shown before how low he can go when he even denied the chaos Sgt. Hoover spoke about — what we all saw unfolding before our very eyes in the reports.

Many things could have been done, but perhaps one that was so poignant was testified to by Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews. They had a lot of information about an attack coming, including descriptions. They spotted the suspect, but they were denied the authority to shoot.

“Plain and simple, we were ignored. Our expertise was disregarded, no one was held accountable for our safety,” he told the committee.

He also described the moments after the blast:

“I’m thrown 12 feet onto the ground but instantly knew what happened. I opened my eyes to Marines dead or unconscious and lying around,” he said through tears.

“A crowd of hundreds immediately vanished in front of me and my body was catastrophically wounded with 100 to 150 ball bearings now in it.”

Vargas-Andrews lost an arm and a leg, lost a kidney, and has endured 44 surgeries.

Here he is at the grave of his friend, Sgt. Hoover, whose mother now wants answers.

Vargas-Andrews also said that Joe Biden tried to shake his hand, although he had lost his arm, then started talking about his son.

These are the people to whom Kirby is saying, "Oh, hey, nothing we could have done," when he offers such a shameful response.

Perhaps one of the worst things about this response and denial of any responsibility is that these are the people still in charge at this point. Because they fail to take responsibility for anything, it could happen again.

This is Donald Trump’s Most Brilliant Inside Move to Benefit the MAGA Movement

If you understand the war inside the machine {GO DEEP} then this move by President Trump will make a lot more sense.

Going all the way back to 2016, the #1 value to the RNC from the candidacy of Donald Trump has always been the supporter data, the donor files and data of the people who support Donald Trump.   This data floored Reince Priebus in 2016, because the RNC had never before seen such a scale of grassroots donor support in the history of the organization.

The RNC administrative leadership were floored when the data-sharing requirement forced Trump’s team to turn over the data right before the GOP convention. It was so far beyond the scale of what they had ever seen before, they could not believe it.  Millions and millions of new first-time names. The core of middle-class America.

Data are people.  MAGA people. Lots of them. More than the RNC has ever known.

Right now, the corporate club known as the RNC is as much the enemy as the Biden DOJ.  Readers here know exactly what I am talking about, and there is no need to rehash all the facets and examples.  The battle inside the RNC is between the billionaire Wall Street club who controls it, and the MAGA voting base who operate within it.

President Trump snubbing the RNC debate in Wisconsin is a direct shot against the RNC as a private corporation. An RNC club that is covertly in alignment with the DNC, another private corporation funded by the same Wall Street billionaires.  The RNC is now going to justify the next attacks against Trump by pointing out his non-compliance with the debate.

The RNC has been covertly hostile, but you will now see them become openly hostile.  President Trump knows this, and his next move is brilliant.  President Trump has created an “official seal of approval” which must accompany any campaign endorsement, donor request or ancillary aspect implying Trump support.  This is directly done to counteract the ability of the RNC to exploit Trump’s affiliation and essentially hostage status.

In essence, the RNC cannot exploit the MAGA brand for RNC/MAGA endorsement, and or use the donor data files, without the Trump “seal of approval.”   The data becomes worthless, because without the Trump seal any request is ignored. Additionally, without the seal any RNC candidate is ignored.  This creates leverage.  This is how the insurgency forces the compliance of the GOPe.  At least that appears to be the goal from Donald Trump.

If the RNC, or any vendor or candidate they have sold the files to, including any candidate who runs but does not align with Trump, attempts to exploit the files without the Trump seal of approval, the fracture between Trump and the RNC becomes openly visible.

It is not coincidental this ‘Seal of Approval’ is announced after the debate decision was made public.

Donald J Trump – Bedminster, NJ — President Donald J. Trump will grant the right to use his “Seal of Approval” to an exclusive group of candidates and committees that the President endorses or otherwise supports. The purpose of the Seal is to help President Trump’s donors distinguish between authorized uses of his name and likeness, and unauthorized uses including oftentimes outright scams. It is intended to protect the President’s donors and supporters from illegitimate organizations falsely claiming some affiliation with President Trump and his campaign.

President Trump’s endorsement power is the most powerful force in American politics. His influence is election defining. When President Trump posts an endorsement on Truth Social, or a candidate onstage before tens of thousands of voters, America First patriots rally behind President Trump’s choice and deliver a decisive victory.

Unfortunately, some candidates, PACs and their fundraising vendors have drained millions of dollars from President Trump’s donors by falsely claiming that they support President Trump, that the President supports them, and that funds received in response to the solicitations will support, help, or defend President Trump. To fight this scam, President Trump’s endorsement will now include the right to use his name and likeness in fundraising solicitations and other campaign communications, as signified by this Seal. The Seal will be a powerful signal to President Trump’s loyal donors that the sender is on Team Trump and is not a scammer.

Candidates and committees authorized to use the Seal shall be permitted, and indeed encouraged, to use the Seal in connection with their activities on social media, in paid advertising, and on merchandise.

This Seal is revocable, non-exclusive license, and the digital art file containing the Seal is non-transferable. Any entity that mimics or unlawfully uses the Seal without explicit approval from a representative of President Trump’s campaign may face legal action.

Before responding to a fundraising solicitation from a candidate or committee, President Trump’s donors should visit DonaldJTrump.com/SealOfApproval to review an up-to-date list of candidates and committees the President has endorsed or supports. Candidates and committees that wish to be a part of Official Team Trump and receive the right to use the Seal should visit DonaldJTrump.com/SealOfApproval to apply.

By granting a candidate or committee the right to use this seal, President Trump does not solicit contributions for or on behalf of such candidate or committee. Additionally, the seal does not indicate or imply that President Trump or Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc. has reviewed or approved any fundraising solicitation or other communication in connection with the seal appears. Indeed, it has not done so and will not do so. (link)
