Parental Authority is the Basis of Civilization

When parents don't rule the home, chaos will rule society. And chaos always breeds tyranny.

As most Americans now realize, America is experiencing a societal breakdown. This should be obvious to anyone, even those facilitating this breakdown, as they openly acknowledge they seek to break down American society.

This is a society that teaches its youngest citizens a suicidal lie: that America was founded in 1619, that it was built on slavery, and that even today it is systemically racist. At the same time, it does not teach the fundamental moral fact that every culture practiced slavery—Arab, Muslim, African, Asian, Native American—and usually more viciously (e.g., Arab slave masters routinely castrated black slaves so that they could not reproduce) than in America.

This is a society that robs its youngest of sexual innocence. Teachers—nearly all of them women, the sex that society has always regarded as the natural guardians of sexual innocence—now routinely sexualize young people with discussions of sexual behavior and by having drag queens perform for them.

This is a society that has taken as a given that there are more than two sexes; that has Jewish and Christian clergy sign emails with “preferred pronouns”; that will praise the Disney Corporation for dropping all references to “boys and girls” from its theme park announcements.

This is a society in which refusing to say that men give birth can lead to social banning and the loss of one’s job and income.

This is a society that encourages violent crime. It elects prosecutors who allow violent criminals to avoid having to pay bail. Its elites advocate defunding police. It keeps raising the dollar amount of stolen goods that constitutes a felony. In short, America is now a society in which the dominant message to would-be criminals is that crime pays.

This is a society in which fewer and fewer young people are marrying, fewer are having children, and more and more are having children without being married, usually without a father in the life of the child.

This all began with the demise of moral authority—and moral, social and intellectual chaos is the inevitable result.

Prior to the 1960s, America had moral authority—God, country, parents, the Bible, teachers, police, and clergy.

Not one of them is a normative authority today.

Starting in the 1960s, each one was overthrown. The ’60s motto “Never trust anyone over 30” perfectly embodied this—given that every one of these was older than 30. Soon, teachers were called by their first names and frequently talked back to, even cursed; on college campuses, “America” was often spelled “Amerika,” and the flag is now declared a symbol of white supremacy; police were referred to as “pigs”; clergy was rendered irrelevant; the American motto, “In God we trust,” was ignored or mocked; and the Bible went from the dominant book in American life to the trash heap of history.

Most important, parental authority rapidly declined.

Moral stability—in other words, civilization—depends on parental authority. Once that breaks down, all the others mentioned here also break down.

If you look at the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, you will notice that each tablet has five commandments. The first five are laws between man and God, while the second five commandments govern behavior toward fellow human beings (do not murder, steal, etc.). The first four “rest” on the Fifth; and the second four “rest” on the Tenth.

Taking the second tablet first, the four commandments that precede the Tenth depend on obedience to the Tenth Commandment. When people murder, commit adultery, steal or offer false testimony, it is almost always because they “covet” what their neighbor has—his property, his animals, his spouse.

Likewise, the first four commandments regarding God as the One Moral Authority rest on people obeying the Fifth Commandment: “Honor your father and mother.”

Parental moral authority is the vehicle to divine moral authority. That is why the Fifth Commandment, to honor one’s parents, is the only human-to-human commandment on the first tablet. It is also the only one of the Ten Commandments that promises a reward—”that your days on the land will be lengthened” and “so that it goes well with you.” You will have a long-lived civilization, and things will go well with you when parents have moral authority.

Beginning in the ’60s, parents stopped telling their children what to do and instead began asking them to do things. Parents became much more interested in being loved by their children than in being honored by their children. Children stopped fearing parents, and parents began fearing their children. Parents became much more interested in their children’s feelings than in their behavior.

Today, elementary schools and high schools work to diminish all parental authority. The most obvious example is hiding from parents that their 10-year-old says he or she is not their biological sex. And should a parent tell his or her 10-year-old, “This is not so, you were born a boy and you are a boy” or “You were born a girl and you are a girl,” those parents run the risk of having the child taken away from them, not to mention severe condemnation from doctors, psychotherapists and social workers.

One result of the breakdown of parental authority is that we probably have more child-parent alienation than at any time in American history. There are millions of parents whose adult child will not talk to them—many of them because of the way the parent voted (if the parent voted for former President Donald Trump, not if the parent voted for Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden).

The bottom line is this: when parents don’t rule the home, chaos will rule society. And chaos always breeds tyranny. So, the choice is stark—either we have strong parents, or we will have a strong state.

After the Coming Winter of Discontent, Putin Either Goes Nuclear or Dies

Our leaders have chosen to make war on Russia through Ukraine. We must now prepare for the consequences of those decisions while we still can.

The current view from the Kremlin is not pretty. After initiating a foolish war of choice with neighboring Ukraine, Russia’s conventional military strength has been sapped. As a result of Ukraine’s unprecedented and ongoing military success, Russian President Vladimir Putin has had to do the one thing he had thus far refused to do: escalate the conflict by calling up his reserves.

Until now, Putin’s regime had insisted the majority of Russians supported the war effort. But the stakes were relatively low, since many people were not impacted directly by the war. Now, as the new mobilization commences and the Russian position in Ukraine is faltering in the face of Ukrainian counterattacks, Putin is about to see just how deep—or, more likely, how shallow—the support for his war really is among the people.

Russia’s capacity for suffering may be legendary, but even the Russians have their limits.

Putin’s apparatchiks have delighted in highlighting for the public how Russia’s economy has not collapsed in the face of intensified sanctions the West imposed in the wake of the invasion. Russia is the world’s largest nation in terms of land and sits atop vast mineral and natural resources. The Putin government has done an able job of exploiting its natural resources to become a major energy exporter and agricultural superpower. Russia’s natural resources have become essential for Europe’s economy.

Naturally, Russia’s aggression prompted European governments to cut off Russian energy supplies until Moscow ends hostilities. Instead, nations like China and India have stepped in to pick up Russia’s excess capacity—helping  ensure that Russia’s economy and its war machine grinds on, despite sanctions and embargoes.

Russia’s Economic Woes

After several months of dealmaking with New Dehli and Beijing, however, the Indians and Chinese have started to balk at subsidizing Russia’s Ukrainian misadventure. To Putin’s credit, he has skirted a complete economic collapse that many Westerners predicted in the wake of intense sanctions. The fact that the war has lasted this long—and does not appear to be ending any time soon now that the Western-backed Ukrainians are pushing back hard—means Russia’s economy has plenty of time to implode. Viewed in this light, Putin’s management of the Russian economy appears more like coasting on inertia and much less of a deft reorientation of the nation’s economic and trading policies.

According to a comprehensive Yale University study, things are about to change. The Yale economists predict Russia’s economy will collapse within the next six months absent drastic policy changes. That, coupled with the growing unpopularity of the war at home (unpopularity now being exacerbated by Putin’s desperate conscription order), would spell the end of Putin’s regime.

While Western observers may be dreaming of precisely such an outcome, remember that the enemy gets a vote. Putin understands the stakes better than anyone. He knows what happens if he fails in Ukraine and his economy implodes: He’ll be overthrown and likely wind up with a bullet in his head.

So, Putin is unlikely to abandon his drive for the total destruction of Ukraine. He has shown in the past year that he is willing to escalate militarily—and to keep doing so until he can change the facts on the ground and the fight to his favor. He may never be able actually to win, but Putin cannot be seen as losing. If his latest gambit fails, Putin will seek another solution that strikes directly at the Western powers supporting Ukraine—especially the United States.

With no good options left, Putin would not hesitate to use nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons of mass destruction against Ukrainian targets.

Putin’s Changing Nuclear Calculations

For Putin’s forces to have a chance in effectively using WMDs against Ukrainian targets, though, Russia would need to attack Western targets in space, cyberspace, and across the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum. Russia’s goal is to divorce Western military support for Ukraine at all costs. Of course, there are several steps between that point and where we are today. But, it is imperative to see where these trends are headed. Remember that Russia under Putin cannot sue for peace under present conditions and Putin cannot be perceived as a loser by his people—but he is now being viewed that way.

As Russia mobilizes mostly unwilling citizens to go fight a Ukrainian force enjoying generous Western assistance and galvanized because they are defending their homeland, Putin will seek to pressure European governments with his energy lever. Countries such as Germany still need cheap Russian natural gas to heat their homes during what many are predicting will be an unusually cold winter. Putin will throw more troops into the meat grinder to slow the Ukrainians down and prevent them from pushing Russian forces out of Ukraine entirely. Meanwhile, he will insidiously attempt to divorce Europe from the United States (and therefore from Ukraine) by effectively freezing Europeans out this winter. (Update: Countermeasures have been taken.)

Despite his best efforts thus far, however, Putin has been unable to play the energy card in Europe as effectively as he believed he could. It is unlikely the Europeans will buckle, even as their own economies descend into recession and their people suffer in the frigid conditions of a European winter.

Coming out of what many are calling Europe’s “Winter of Discontent,” Putin will be in a bind. His war plans will have failed as will his strategy of breaking Western resolve by strangling Europe from critical energy sources. At that point, Putin is likely to escalate in a dramatic fashion.

Putin’s Risk of Overthrow Comes from Within

It isn’t just Western analysts who claim Putin’s personal and political survival depend upon success in Ukraine. Aleksandr Dugin, one of the most influential thinkers on the Russian imperialist Right, has made similar predictions about Putin’s longevity. Shortly before the bizarre attempt on his life in August (which resulted in his daughter’s death), Dugin predicted publicly that Putin’s regime would be taken down by the Ukraine War. The gonzo Russian geopolitical theorist called for Putin’s removal from power and argued his replacement should be an even more strongman who would finish the war with Ukraine by any means necessary.

The Russo-Ukraine War is likely to be to Putin’s rule what the Russo-Japanese War a century ago was to that of Czar Nicholas II: the triggering event that will lead to the regime’s destruction. Like that war a century ago, the Russians assumed they would easily defeat the smaller, upstart power. Instead, they are being routed. The blowback for Russia will be immense. The difference between then and now, however, is that Russia has thousands of nuclear weapons, and its leaders are moving to a place where they appear increasingly willing to use them.

Now is the time to prepare. America needs to deploy a rudimentary space-based missile defense while enhancing protections for its existing satellite constellations. Washington must prepare critical infrastructure for a massive cyberattack that will come once Putin decides he has no choice but to use nukes in Ukraine. Six to eight months is not a long time, but it is still some time. Our leaders have chosen to make war on Russia via Ukraine. We must now prepare for the consequences of those decisions while we still can.

Winchentucky Wayne Charged After Trying To Meet Up With 12 And 13 Year Old Girls For Threesome In Westminster, Tried To Get 14 Year Old Girl To Have Dog Lick Her Sexually In 2019

Uncle Turtleboy Posting for TB Daily News

Two months ago we published a blog about a new vigilante predator poachers group on YouTube called For The Kids, after they busted a pedophile who worked as a manager at the Honey Farms in Rutland. On Friday night they had another very disturbing catch in Westminster, but this time the chomo was looking for a 12 year old girl named Ava. The poacher even through in a 13 year old girl named Haley for a threesome, and he was all about it. Usually when these guys get caught they make up excuses or try to run away. But this guy was different. He actually stuck around for almost 2 hours at the Cumberland Farms and admitted to everything in an interview. Finally someone watching called the cops, they took down his information, and he ended up leaving.

You probably didn’t have time to watch the whole thing, but he admitted to literally everything. He also claims to have a 12 inch penis, but the poacher claims that the dick pics he sent the decoy 12 year old says that is fake news. He was also so familiar with the conversations that he was able to correct the poacher about the things that he said, often admitting to much worse things than he was initially accused of. Like how she was a bed wetter, or how he hooked up with a 16 year old girl when he was 22 and she had hair “down there.” At any point he could’ve just run away, but instead he thought he could win the poacher over and sat down for an interview like Trump talking to Maggie Haberman.

Another COVID-19 Vaccine Claim Collapses, No Apologies to Be Found

Bonchie reporting for RedState

Over the course of the last several years, there have been a series of claims about the COVID-19 vaccines that have collapsed in light of various studies.

Most infamously, the idea that the vaccines stop the transmission of the virus permeated all the way to the highest levels of government, including the President of the United States. Those false assertions then formed the basis of federal mandates, including a vicious campaign against the “unvaccinated” that never made any scientific sense.

Unfortunately, there’s another example to add to the list after it was revealed that prior claims about mRNA not being transferred through breast milk were false. That despite “fact-checks” back in 2021 asserting that wasn’t possible.

Here is the summary of the study, which gives the nod to the vaccines before noting that breastfeeding mothers were never tested by the CDC to see what was being transmitted.

Vaccination is a cornerstone in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the initial messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine clinical trials excluded several vulnerable groups, including young children and lactating individuals.1 The US Food and Drug Administration deferred the decision to authorize COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for infants younger than 6 months until more data are available because of the potential priming of the children’s immune responses that may alter their immunity.2 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends offering the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to breastfeeding individuals,3 although the possible passage of vaccine mRNAs in breast milk resulting in infants’ exposure at younger than 6 months was not investigated. This study investigated whether the COVID-19 vaccine mRNA can be detected in the expressed breast milk (EBM) of lactating individuals receiving the vaccination within 6 months after delivery.

As Thomas Massie notes in his post, there is no safe dose of mRNA vaccine for infants. The concern is that early exposure could prime a baby’s immune responses and affect their long-term immunity. That’s a fancy way of saying that there could be side effects. What those might be is unknown without more study.

Regardless, the science of all this isn’t really the point. The point is that Joe Biden and the federal government tried to mandate these vaccines, even for breastfeeding mothers, without doing the due diligence necessary to ensure they were safe for all those who could be impacted. And for what? To stop community transmission? But as I said at the beginning of this piece, that was also a lie, rendering the mandates utterly pointless.

Still, don’t expect the White House to offer an apology or even a clarification on this point. The COVID-19 vaccines have become the centerpiece of a cult that denounces any questioning of its idol. And I say that as someone who is not anti-vaccine, though I’ll be accused of being such just for writing this article. I actually think the shots are useful for people in certain age ranges and those with certain pre-existing conditions.

That doesn’t change the fact that the mandates were wrong. They were wrong on a legal level, and they were wrong on a moral level. Power-drunk politicians soldiered forward with them anyway, paying no mind to the possible risks they were imposing on people who didn’t want to bear them. And while defenders of the vaccines will claim that the amount of mRNA being transferred to nursing children is small, that still doesn’t make it acceptable to do what the administration did.

The fact that so many things once deemed “conspiracy theories” have turned out to be true harms the credibility of the scientific community, especially those working in or in league with the federal government. To turn that around, there needs to be honesty and transparency. You aren’t going to get that from the Biden administration, though.

Idaho Mom Arrested In 2020 For Letting Kids Play At A Public Park Is Still Being Prosecuted By Republican AG’s Office

‘Idaho should be one of the most conservative states if not the most conservative … but I think Covid really brought out the true colors of our supposed-Republican leaders,’ said Sara Brady.

While Sara Brady may not be a recognizable name among many American households, the video of her arrest most assuredly is.

Two years ago, during the early weeks of the 2020 Covid lockdowns, a video went viral of Brady getting arrested by local police after the Idaho resident allowed her children to play on the city of Meridian’s Kleiner Park playground, which was closed as a result of Covid restrictions. After warning Brady and other parents present that they needed to vacate the area, police officers proceeded to arrest Brady, much to the dismay of the other parents.

“He is arresting her for being on a public playground,” one witness said in a video documenting Brady’s arrest.

Following her detainment, the Meridian Police Department charged Brady with trespassing for failing “to adhere to the rules [in these] trying times.”

The incident also sparked the launch of protests supporting Brady, which were held outside the locality’s city hall.

“You don’t expect when you take your kids to a playground and you’re just simply trying to redress an officer for a grievance of a playground closure to end up in an arrest. I never went there that day and anticipated that,” Brady said in an interview with The Federalist.

While the arrest of the Idaho mother of two was outrageous to begin with, what’s even more abhorrent is that Brady is still currently being prosecuted by the office of the state’s Republican attorney general, Lawrence Wasden.

After spending about $25,000 on four sets of lawyers, Brady was finally given her day in court last Tuesday when oral arguments were heard following two years of her trial repeatedly getting delayed due to Covid restrictions. During the Sept. 20 hearing, Brady’s attorney, Seth Diviney, made the motion to have the trespassing charges against Brady dropped and issued “some arguments about the constitutionality of the charges, and whether or not they involve free speech.”

“It’s exhausting to go two and a half years, that’s a really long time to fight the state of Idaho, who has unlimited resources, and can continue to prosecute this indefinitely,” Brady said. “Our family has been through so much. We’ve been doxxed, we’ve been harassed, we’ve had [Child Protective Services] called on us simply for me taking my kids to a playground. And knowing what we know now about Covid and all the falsehoods that have been perpetrated on the American people, the fact that they’re still prosecuting me just adds insult to injury.”

According to Brady, her case is being prosecuted by Ken Jorgensen, who, in addition to representing the state in the trial, is one of Wasden’s deputy attorneys general.

“I just knew if they [were] making it such a big deal for me to take my children to a playground, I had to hold strong and I ha[d] to keep going to the end, because at the end of the day, I didn’t do anything wrong,” Brady said.

Wasden did not return The Federalist’s request for comment about why his office has continued to prosecute Brady, especially given the widely known, scientific data showing the low transmissibility of Covid outdoors, the failure of lockdown-style policies, and the extremely low risk Covid poses to children.

Led by Republican Gov. Brad Little, Idaho instituted some of the most illogical Covid policies among Republican-led states. On March 25, 2020, Little issued a statewide stay-at-home order, which forced government-deemed “non-essential” businesses to close their doors, including “bars, nightclubs, gyms, recreational facilities,” and “entertainment venues,” among others.

But Little’s horrid Covid mismanagement didn’t stop there. In January 2021, the GOP governor released a statement decrying efforts by the Idaho legislature to end his Covid emergency declaration, saying it was “critical in order for Idaho to receive federal assistance” and that the idea that the order “somehow shuts down Idaho or takes away your rights” is a “myth” and “patently false.”

Moreover, Little previously attempted to guilt-trip Idahoans into getting the Covid shot by claiming the jab is the “best shot at keeping kids in school.”

“Our students need to be able to learn in their classrooms with their teachers and peers. We can give our kids the best chance at a normal school year if more Idahoans choose to receive the vaccine,” he said in an August 2021 statement. “To those friends and neighbors of ours waiting to receive the vaccine, the time to get the vaccine is now — when our students are going back to school. We can minimize or eliminate disruptions in the delivery of education, as well as sports and extracurricular activities during this school year, if more Idahoans choose to get vaccinated.”

Other nonsensical Covid-related actions taken by the Idaho governor include the vetoing of legislation earlier this year that would have barred most private businesses from mandating the coronavirus jab for their employees.

“Idaho should be one of the most conservative states [in the country] if not the most conservative … but I think Covid really brought out the true colors of our supposed-Republican leaders,” Brady said. “I truly believe if I was in Florida, [Gov. Ron] DeSantis wouldn’t be putting up with this. I don’t think I’d be being prosecuted.”

According to Brady, neither Little nor anyone else from his office has ever contacted her regarding her arrest or ongoing prosecution.

Little did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment about whether he supports the prosecution against Brady or whether he has ever taken any action or encouraged Wasden to have his office drop the case against Brady.

European Voters Are Rejecting The Failed Policies Of Globalism From Italy To Sweden

Several ruling, pro-globalist European coalitions lost control of their nations’ respective governments in elections over the past several weeks, marking a major victory for some of the continent’s more right-of-center political parties.

On Sunday, Italian voters elected their most conservative government in decades, putting Giorgia Meloni, the leader of the Brothers of Italy Party, on track to become the nation’s first female prime minister.

“Partial results place the Brothers of Italy on 26 per cent, making it the leading party, with Meloni’s allies Matteo Salvini, 49, the leader of the League, on 9 per cent and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia on 8 per cent,” The Times, a U.K.-based outlet, reported. “The coalition’s combined share of more than 40 per cent is likely to translate into majorities in both houses of parliament thanks to electoral law, which benefits party alliances.”

While speaking with a crowd of supporters in Rome, Meloni noted that the election results demonstrate that Italians “want a centre-right government led by Brothers of Italy” and that her party will govern “for all with the aim of uniting [the] country.”

“The situation Italy and the EU head for is particularly complex and needs the contribution of all of us, requiring a serene atmosphere with reciprocal co-operation,” she said. “The biggest ambition we have in life is for Italians to be proud again of being Italian, of unfurling the tri-coloured flag.”

Throughout the election cycle, Meloni campaigned on the slogan, “God, homeland, and family,” and has been a staunch defender of the Christian, nuclear family.

In predictable fashion, America’s corporate media has gone into overdrive to label Meloni and Italy’s new governing coalition as “far-right” and even “fascistic.” (An NBC News write-up of Meloni’s anticipated victory used some version of the term “fascism” 16 times.)

“Italy election results set up first far-right government since [Benito] Mussolini,” a headline from The Washington Post read.

“Far-right leader Giorgia Meloni on course to win power in Italy,” another from CNBC reads.

Meloni and her party’s success in Italy is not the only instance of European voters rejecting failed globalist policies at the ballot box this year. Earlier this month, Sweden’s populist right-wing leader declared victory in the country’s nationwide elections, and leftist Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson resigned from office.

“Populist Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Akesson declared victory for the four-party bloc,” the Associated Press reported. “He said his party would be ‘a constructive and driving force’ in the work of rebuilding safety in Sweden. He said it was ‘time to put Sweden first.'”

As they have regarding Italy, left-wing rags such as The Washington Post and The New York Times have gone out of their way to label Sweden’s election outcome as a win for the “far-right.”

Biden Is Beginning to Confuse Which Script He's Supposed to Be Operating From

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

I think Joe Biden is starting to forget what script he’s reading from now.

Previously, Biden blamed Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine for the rise in gas prices, even though the prices had been going up since he came into office. He also tried to blame gas companies for price gouging. But then, when the prices went down a little (albeit, still far higher than they were when he came in), he tried to take credit for it.

But it’s funny that now he seemed to get lost on Monday and fell back into the “blame the gas companies” mantra.

“And — but, look, my message is simple,” Biden said. “To the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump: Bring down the prices you’re charging at the pump to reflect the cost you pay for the product. Do it now. Do it now. Not a month from now — do it now. And it’s going to save people a lot of money.”

Whoops, prices must be going back up again. Does Biden think he’s going to convince us this is somehow the fault of the poor guy who runs the gas station? Those guys barely make anything on the gas, pennies per gallon at best. But again, anything to deflect from Biden’s own failed policies.

He thinks that he can flip on a dime: if one week it goes up, it’s the greedy companies and he has no control over it; if the next week it goes down, it’s because of his brilliant work. Who does he think would fall for this illogical claptrap? But it’s the ranting of someone bent on lying his head off to you. And that creepy way of saying “do it now,” with those eyes like saucers again. What’s up with that?
We used to understand it was wrong for the government to try to dictate to and control private companies. But Biden has long since gone over the radical slide on that point; he doesn’t seem to care he’s just a little bit fascist.

But he didn’t leave the confusion there. I’m not even sure of what he’s saying here, half the time. I’m not sure he is; he just starts reading and then goes off into the abyss. It should concern the liberal media that he makes no sense, but it doesn’t.

I do get that he’s saying he’s asking banks to reduce fees for bounced checks and overdraft fees. Exactly why is the government getting involved in forcing the banks to waive fees? Now, much as I would like a variety of fees to be waived, I understand basic human nature that if you waive fees for bad behavior like bounced checks and overdrafts, you are going to get more of that behavior. But what business is that of the government, anyway? Unless, again, they are trying to dictate behavior, both to banks and customers.

More importantly, what does any of this have to do with inflation and resolving Biden’s bad policies that have contributed to inflation? It’s like a ridiculous flag-waving exercise, to deflect from the fact that on average, he’s swiped $4,200 from the average American’s annual income, between inflation and higher interest rates. How does any of this move the needle on that? It’s not even clear that the companies are going to do any of this either — he’s just saying he’s urging this.

This is Biden — and it’s getting worse.
