Florida or California?

If you were to reproduce these models nationally,
Americans would have an easy choice to make.

Which will it be come 2024?

Is America going to choose the Florida model or the California way? What if it comes down to Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom versus Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for president of the United States? One has an America First philosophy and the other a socialist one. One works, the other fails, badly. One sees people and businesses moving to the state in droves, the other, people are moving out in record numbers.

Which will it be, if the faceoff occurs? The Sunshine State or the Golden State?

Let’s do the full comparison as it may foretell a storyline that is rapidly unraveling before our eyes. Just suppose, Biden and Trump are not the candidates in 2024 and the baton gets passed on to the next generation of leaders. That could mean the choice becomes even more vivid and personal, and the country would get to pick its future direction based on the experience lived and the policy records, in these two contrasting states.

Already, we see Pelosi’s nephew, Newsom, running ads in Florida against DeSantis’ reelection bid but it portends far more. It may in fact be a precursor of the larger battle to come.

Factually, there couldn’t be a bigger difference in the two states, both of which have long coastlines, plenty of sunshine, great beaches and large, diverse populations, with significant Hispanic minorities and dynamic political cultures. California features one-party rule, a far-left bias, and socialism for all. Florida, by contrast, is a vibrant two-party state, tilts rightward, and in recent years has featured all-out entrepreneurial capitalism, small business growth, low taxes, and individual liberty.

How do they fare on a host of relevant statistics, if voters were to actually look under the hood and do their homework? Let’s check them out.

On the Economy

California’s population stands at 40 million, while Florida’s is roughly half that size at 20.5 million. California’s gross domestic product is $3.4 trillion compared to Florida’s GDP of $1.2 trillion. One features Hollywood and high-tech industry and the other, tourism and agriculture. The job growth rate in Florida is 2.4 percent but just 1.2 percent in California, which is depopulating and losing jobs. Net legal migration is 1.3 percent in Florida and an astonishingly negative 0.2 percent in California. Florida gained a congressional seat in the last U.S. Census. California lost one. Famously, California had the harshest lockdowns during the COVID pandemic, while Florida was the earliest to fully reopen and reap the benefits.

On the Cost of Living

The cost of living index clearly favors Florida. California has become too expensive. Gas is priced at an average of over $6.50 a gallon. Housing is unaffordable. California has record healthcare costs, food costs, higher obesity rates, and an equal percentage of uninsured.

On Taxes

The tax rate in California is among the highest in the nation, when combined, close to 9 percent. The corporate rate is 8.4 percent. There is a 7.5 percent average sales tax. Florida has no state income tax at all and ranks fourth lowest in the nation in overall taxes. It is very pro-business, with a low 5.5 percent corporate tax rate and a 6 percent sales tax.

On Crime

Florida ranks in the middle of all states on crime per thousand, while California is in the top 10. Florida has 378 crimes per 100,000 adults per year and California’s rate just keeps climbing. Murders, rapes, and burglary are at all-time highs. Its cities are among the most dangerous and unsafe. With a low incarceration rate, California prosecutors do not enforce the law and let criminals back on the streets, often without bail. Police have been defunded.

On Education

Florida has excelled in education and is now ranked third in the United States. California is not even in the top 20 and its scores are below average on every measure and have been dropping precipitously. It’s illiteracy rate is on par with Mississippi’s. There is little school choice in California and a great deal of indoctrination around sex, gender, race (CRT) and civics—or lack thereof.

On Environment

Florida has 18 days of unhealthy air a year compared to California’s staggering 201 bad days. It also has wildfires and water shortage problems. Brown outs have become commonplace. Florida has almost no homeless problem and is well ordered. In California, especially in its largest cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, homelessness and drug abuse are out of control. It has taxpayer funded encampments with no legal enforcement whatsoever and some open drug zones, where the government dispenses needles and drugs.

On Infrastructure

Florida has come a long way and ranks in the top 20 states, with only 13 percent of its roads considered “poor,” and it boasts good internet access. California ranks 31st among the states for infrastructure and has horrible roads and long commute times.

On Guns

Florida gun laws allow the right to bear arms in the state constitution. The state allows concealed carry and open carry. It has “stand your ground” self-defense laws. Bump stocks are not permitted and new red flag laws apply. In California, assault weapons are banned altogether, magazines are highly restricted, and gun buyers must be 21 or older. California has a reputation for being tough on legal gun ownership and no other state regulates firearms as much as California.

On Abortion

California has among the most liberal abortion laws in America. Abortion is permitted up to the point of “viability,” around 24 weeks into a pregnancy, with widespread exceptions for the life or “health” of the mother. The state actively supports abortion and plans to pay woman to come there as abortion tourists. Florida has enacted strict abortion laws and only allows the practice up to 15 weeks, while restricting it otherwise. Florida imposes injuries on those who illegally provide abortions.

On Financial Stability

Florida is very stable and ranked in the top few states, with a strong AAA bond rating, a balanced budget, and liquidity at 5.8 percent. California, on the other hand, has been slipping and now has an AA2 bond rating and its liquidity rating is quite low, 36th in the United States.

Overall Evaluation

When you tally up all these standings, clearly Florida wins hands down. Florida in a recent survey ranked No. 1 on freedom while California came in dead last.

If you were to reproduce these models nationally, Americans would have an easy choice to make. Without even more massive cheating, there is no way Newsom could get over 81 million votes. I doubt he would get six states to swing his way. America would be choosing freedom over government control, honesty over hypocrisy, and economic success over proven disaster.

Evening. Here's tonight's news:

Biden’s Bonkers Idea to Welcome Terrorist-Tied Foreigners into America

The Biden White House, after all the damage it has caused to our border security, thinks now is a good time to loosen standards for refugees with terrorist connections.

Just when we thought it was impossible for Joe Biden to make his immigration policies any more ridiculous, he finds another low. Against the backdrop of America’s current border crisis and with adversaries increasingly viewing the United States as a paper tiger, the Biden Administration will now make it easierfor foreign nationals with terrorist ties to enter the United States and take advantage of immigration benefits.

A joint statement by the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and State in the Federal Register explained that the two agencies have made changes to the application of the Immigration and Nationality Act, our country’s immigration law. Going forward, the U.S. government will grant entry into the United States to those who provided “limited” or “insignificant” support to designated terrorist organizations.

The absurdity of this policy evokes the legendary standup comedian Robert Klein, who once remarked on the federal government’s acceptable amount of rodent hair in a can of tuna fish: “I have no acceptable amount.”

Similarly, when confronted with this abominable interpretation of the law, Americans grounded in common sense will conclude that there should be no acceptable amount of foreign nationals with ties to terrorist groups allowed entry into our nation.

The White House is framing the change as a debt owed to Afghans who assisted the U.S. military during our two decades-long presence in Afghanistan. Like most things with this administration, however, a closer look reveals a deeply flawed policy serving a partisan agenda to the detriment of American security.

The amended INS language makes no reference to Afghans. Without limiting the policy to Afghan refugees, the change can apply to anyone seeking entry into the U.S. from another state designated as a sponsor of terror.

Despite its claims that arrivals last year from Afghanistan were rigorously vetted, the administration still cannot give a clear answer on how many Afghan refugees actually worked with the U.S. military. In an interview last June with the Washington Post, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “I can’t really quantify it or measure it against expectations.”

In February a report from the Department of Defense’s inspector general found that Biden’s administration has been importing large numbers of unvetted Afghan refugees. The report found that many of these refugees have “significant security concerns,” but that Defense Department personnel cannot locate them.

Even those who did work with our military in Afghanistan should not be above suspicion. Sean Parnell, decorated Afghan war veteran and former U.S. Senate candidate, told Tucker Carlson about a longtime translator for his unit who turned out to be working with an Iranian terror cell. He betrayed the unit and led them to a hidden explosive device that killed one American serviceman and seriously wounded several others.

“Just because an Afghan works with us and is friends with us does not actually mean they are safe to bring here,” Parnell said. “And this is precisely why we cannot bring 30,000 unvetted Afghan refugees to the United States of America. It’s an irresponsible policy.”

The language in the Federal Register also says that normal bans on entry for reasons of national security will not apply if individuals can show they “pose no danger to the safety and security of the United States.” That’s a nice-sounding fig leaf for the administration to hide behind to appear responsible, but it also leaves us wide-open to exploitation by those who mean us harm.

Aside from the impossibility of proving a negative, the standard is likely to miss potential threats in the mass relocation of people from a radically different culture. According to a 2013 study, 99 percent of Afghan Muslims support sharia law, and 61 percent believe that all citizens should be subject to sharia law. Of the Afghan Muslims who favor making sharia the law of the land, 81 percent support hudud punishments including amputation of limbs and flogging for crimes such as theft and robbery.

Such extreme social differences may help explain the growing number of sexual assault charges against Afghan refugees in the United States, in many cases for doing harm to children. There have been calls to relocate Afghans to nearby Muslim countries that would provide a better cultural fit. Such calls fall on deaf ears in the Biden Administration, which practices the warped ideology that America must somehow be punished through its immigration processes.

There is no shortage of evidence that America’s enemies are using our naïve ideas about immigration to further weaken us. The Biden White House, after all the damage it has caused to our border security, thinks now is a good time to loosen standards for refugees with terrorist connections. Never again should Americans grant so much authority to those so irresponsible.

Latest Times Poll Has People Talking About the End of Joe Biden

Bonchie reporting for RedState

The further Joe Biden sinks into the abyss, the harder it becomes to imagine any kind of recovery. That’s the story of the latest Times/Sienna poll, which shows the president’s approval at a record low of 33 percent. And to be sure, there’s nothing else about the survey that provides any positive news.

Even college-educated whites, long a bulwark of sorts for Biden’s presidential approval, are finally abandoning him.

Those numbers are just brutal. 25 percent with independents, a political identity that is only growing, might as well be the death knell of Biden’s political career. Even black Americans, while still the strongest demographic for the president, only approve slightly over 60 percent.

But it’s the Latino numbers that are truly something to behold. For decades, Democrats have banked on increased Hispanic immigration as a path to a permanent majority. But as is prone to happen in politics, the best-made plans can quickly be laid to waste. While the 32 percent approval for Biden among Hispanics is terrible, another number in the poll tells the tale.

38 percent of Hispanics are now voting in GOP primaries, which is equal to the share voting in Democrat primaries. It’s hard to express how game-changing that is, and it shows a seismic shift that could scramble expected political results for years to come. If Hispanics are now just as likely to vote for Republicans as they are Democrats, that puts all kinds of formerly unwinnable races in play for Republicans. We’ve seen that play out more recently in Texas, but the same effect will be felt all the way to California.

Moving past that to the issue-level polling, only one percent (yes, one percent) rated the economy as “excellent” while 75 percent said the economy is important to them, and even among the broader Democrat electorate, Biden is floundering. As my colleague Levon Satamian shared in his write-up on this poll, two-thirds of Democrats don’t even want Biden to be the nominee in 2024. And when your bench consists of Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg, you start to get an idea of how much of a corner the left has painted itself in.

But what choice do they have? They can’t allow Biden, who will be just shy of 82 years old on election day, to run again. We are now at the stage where the White House is falsifying transcripts to protect the president’s senility. Imagine how bad things will be two years from now?

Still, the Times/Sienna poll provides one glimmer of hope for Democrats. It finds that Biden leads Donald Trump 44 to 41 percent in a hypothetical matchup. That’s nothing to brag about, though. Any incumbent not breaking 45 percent is usually toast. Trump also has an electoral college advantage, which means he can lose the popular vote by more than three points and still win a presidential election. And if Trump isn’t the nominee, you are looking at a blowout in 2024 of epic proportions.

In short, it’s all bad news, all the time for the current president. Is this the end? It sure feels like it, and all the recent internal divisions within the Democrat Party point to Biden being tossed overboard sooner rather than later. The period after the mid-terms is going to be very interesting.

Texas Authorities Urgently Beg Residents to Turn Off Air Conditioning Because There is No Wind to Power the Windmills

This is not The Onion or any form of spoof.

This was real life, and it was happening yesterday.

Amid a heatwave throughout most of Texas, The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, is urgently asking Texas residents to conserve electricity because “it has projected a shortage in energy reserves Monday “with no market solution available.” Voluntary conservation is needed between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday.”

The problem, as the Texas power authorities have identified it, is outlined via NBC News:

According to ERCOT, factors driving the need for this important action by customers:

      • Record high electric demand. The heat wave that has settled on Texas and much of the central United States is driving increased electric use. Other grid operators are operating under similar conservative operations programs as ERCOT due to the heatwave.
      • Low wind. While solar power is generally reaching near-full generation capacity, wind generation is currently generating significantly less than what it historically generated in this time period. Current projections show wind generation coming in less than 10 % of its capacity.

Conservation notifications are issued when projected reserves may fall below 2300 MW for 30 minutes or more, according to ERCOT. (link)

Hispanic Journalists Drag Jill Biden for Comparing Them to 'Breakfast Tacos'

Bonchie reporting for RedState

No, that headline isn’t satire. Jill Biden did actually compare Hispanics to “breakfast tacos” on Monday while speaking in San Antonio. She also apparently can’t pronounce the word “bodega,” instead going with “bo-gah-da.” Was she trying to cop a faux-Spanish pronunciation to up her street cred? The First Lady has a history of such, including her infamous “si-se-podway” gaffe during the 2020 campaign.

As RedState reported, these latest flubs came during something called a “LatinX IncluXion” conference, which can be translated to “Democrats want to lose Hispanic voters.” And while the right has had a good time with the “breakfast tacos” comment, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists didn’t find it funny at all.

They released a statement dragging Jill Biden and her speech writers for coming up with such a line.

I’m honestly surprised the NAHJ put this statement out. You’d expect most of them to be Democrats given nearly everyone in the press is a Democrat, and no one on the left is handled with kid gloves more than Jill Biden. But this was a bridge too far, I guess, or maybe the shift among the Hispanic electorate is reaching the journalism ranks as well? You’ve got to love the snark about “Dr. Biden and her speech writing team” needing to “take the time in the future to better understand” Hispanic cultures.

Still, I’m left wondering how this happened? As someone who has traveled to many Central and South American countries, I can assure you that, much to my disappointment, they don’t all eat tacos. You would expect the First Lady and her staff to know that, keeping things simple in her remarks. After all, what is there to gain with such stupid pandering? Yet, for reasons completely unknown, Jill Biden went with the “breakfast tacos” line anyway.

The broader red flag here for Democrats, though, is just how screwed they are with Hispanics. The fact that the First Lady even appeared at an event that included the made-up, ridiculous word “Latinx” was a huge misstep. Democrats need to be seeking a return to normalcy with Hispanic voters, not leaning into leftwing insanity that alienates them. Yet, here’s Jill Biden talking about “Latinx” and “breakfast tacos.” If she was actually trying to make Hispanics recoil in horror, what would she be doing differently?

This is a prime example of how hubris in politics can be destructive. Democrats, having previously convinced themselves that Hispanics would be part of their permanent majority, simply refuse to believe that things have changed. And instead of shifting their messaging, they keep going full-bore into a brick wall of woke-ism. Don’t get me wrong, as a Republican, I’m happy to watch the meltdown, but as a political observer, it makes me wince.

Jan. 6 Committee Admits It Isn’t Even Trying To Verify ‘Bombshell’ Claims

‘We never call in witnesses to corroborate other witnesses or to give their reaction to other witnesses,’ committee member Rep. Lofgren said.

Two weeks after the Jan. 6 Committee introduced a new series of "blockbuster" claims from surprise witness Cassidy Hutchinson, most of which have failed close scrutiny, panel members are expecting the press to take her testimony at face value.

California Rep. Zoe Lofgren, a 2019 House impeachment manager who now serves on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s latest anti-Trump probe in the Select Committee, went on CNN Sunday to conduct damage control as the Democrats’ desperate narrative ahead of the November midterms fell apart.

Lofgren was asked about the panel’s questioning of former Trump White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, who spoke with the committee in April but was asked back after explosive allegations from Hutchinson were left uncorroborated. Hutchinson told lawmakers in public testimony that Cipollone pressured the low-level White House aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to keep the president from going to the Capitol on Jan. 6 or “we’re going to get charged with every crime imaginable.”

“I saw Mr. Cipollone right before I walked out onto West Exec that morning, and Mr. Cipollone said something to the effect of ‘please make sure we don’t go up to the Capitol, Cassidy. Keep in touch with me,'” Hutchinson said.

Multiple sources told The Federalist, however, that Cipollone was not at the White House on the morning of Jan. 6, 2021. Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, who is leading House Republicans’ investigation of the Capitol riot after Pelosi expelled him from his minority appointment as ranking member of the Select Committee, demanded White House visitation records to probe Hutchinson’s claims.

When pressed on whether the panel asked Cipollone to confirm Hutchinson’s testimony, Lofgren said the committee was uninterested, despite the episode serving as a focal point in Hutchinson’s narrative.

“We never call in witnesses to corroborate other witnesses or to give their reaction to other witnesses,” Lofgren admitted on national television to CNN’s Jake Tapper.

In other words, Lofgren conceded the committee’s proceedings are a Soviet-style partisan show trial operating for the sole purpose of smearing political dissidents, with no regard for the truth.

One day after Hutchinson appeared before lawmakers, Tapper pressed panel member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., who also served as a House impeachment manager last year, on how the committee would corroborate its newest star witness. Among her series of unsubstantiated claims, Hutchinson shared a story on how Trump attempted to violently hijack the presidential limousine and drive himself to the Capitol. The story, however, relied entirely on supposed conversations she had with others who refuted her testimony hours after she took the stand.

“She did not see it happen,” Tapper told Raskin. “Do you have any corroborating evidence?”

“Well, the story that she told is the evidence that I’m aware of,” Raskin said. “And I’ve not seen anything to contradict it.”

Except those who supposedly did see the episode in question said they were prepared to testify on-record and under oath that Hutchinson’s story of a president in rage assaulting Secret Service agents was a fable.

Hutchinson’s appearance is far from the first time the Jan. 6 Committee has injected fictitious narratives into a friendly media environment, whose more than two hours of testimony even became a comic book tale in The Washington Post. In December, committee members deceptively manipulated text messages twice, and panel Vice Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., fabricated a false timeline of Jan. 6 to indict Trump as complicit in the chaos. In its recent hearings, the committee also lied about a DOJ attorney’s involvement in the president’s efforts to halt the certification of the election.

Lofgren admitted, however, that the Jan. 6 show trials aren’t about uncovering truth anyway.

It Looks Increasingly Like the Story About the Ohio 10-Year-Old Pregnancy and Cross-State Abortion Was a Hoax

It looks increasingly likely that Dr. Caitlin Bernard, the OBGYN who originally made the claim to the Indianapolis Star, lied about the 10-year-old child rape story in order to sell a sympathetic abortion narrative to the public.   An ideologically compliant and incurious media then promoted the false story, which led to Joe Biden repeating the story as part of his pro-abortion speech and executive action.   It’s Jussie Smollett all over again.

The Washington Post previously tried and failed to verify the story and wrote an article saying the only attribution for the claim comes from Dr. Caitlin Bernard {link}.  There is zero evidence the story is true, and considerable evidence the story was a complete hoax.  Including the lack of any police report and no documentation of any rape despite a legal responsibility to do so.

Now Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is saying his office has no evidence of a raped ten-year-old child who was impregnated, including a request for lab results. Yost also noted that Ohio law would have allowed for an abortion in such a case.  First, the summary of the likely hoax.  WATCH:

Hopelessness is all the Democrats have left

5 Ways Addicts Feel Hopeless About Overcoming Addiction - Bridges Of Hope

Article by John Green in The American Thinker

Hopelessness is all the Democrats have left

It looks like President Gremlin may be done. The Dems are starting to turn on him. Both the New York Times and The Atlantic have run stories that Democrat party leaders are questioning old Joe’s ability to do the job. Duh! In fact, according to the Daily Mail, one anonymous Democrat lawmaker called the Biden administration, “rudderless, aimless, and hopeless.” And that was from somebody on his own team – ouch.

But I have to disagree with whoever coined that term. They’re more wrong than right. There has been nothing aimless or rudderless about anything Biden has done. The Biden administration has been misguided, not unguided.

They’re only feeling hopeless because Joe tried to give them everything on their Christmas wish list. Now they don’t like what that wish list looks like under the hard light of reality. Be careful what you wish for – and all of that.

You see, there is nothing aimless or rudderless about Biden’s actions. “Aimless” implies a lack of an objective – not having a goal to aim at, or a destination that he wants to take America to. Reagan was aiming for something – the shining city on the hill (which came from a 1630 sermon by John Winthrop). Trump had an objective too – American greatness. Joe’s aim for America is a bit different, but he’s not wavering in the slightest.

The party radicals sold him on the notion of a socialist utopia – with the new politburo going by the initials DNC. And by Gaia (his base being environmentalist wackos), that is what he has been shooting for. He hasn’t taken his eye off of that sight picture for even an instant. You’ve got to give the man credit. He knows what his base wants. Unfortunately, he foolishly decided to serve his base, and not all Americans. That’s going to cost him.

It's a mistake to consider him rudderless as well. “Rudderless” implies that the ship of state is wandering around randomly. Nothing could be further from the truth. To get to that leftist paradise he envisions, Joe has swung the rudder hard to port, and is keeping it there with ruthless determination.

Government spending is being used to make everyone wards of the state. That it has triggered runaway inflation has not changed Joe’s determination to spend more.

Academic indoctrination has sought to separate children from their families and churches. When parents tried to push back, our Department of Justice targeted them as terrorists. There was still no course change.

A pandemic has been used to test the limits of autocracy. The government closed some businesses while leaving others open. Our president mandated that we all take an experimental drug treatment. Lockdowns violated our right of assembly. We were even told what we could and couldn’t do with our own property. When the courts said “no’ to all of the above, the administration began attacking the courts. Notably, Biden did not accept the court decisions and begin adhering to the Constitution. He began looking for work arounds to the Constitution, to stay on his chosen course.

Our constitutionally protected liberties have also been under attack. First, they tried to restrict our freedom of speech in the name of preventing disinformation. Of course, it would be leftist bureaucrats who would decide what constituted “disinformation.” Next the Dems tore the blindfold off of Lady Justice – creating one set of rules for Democrats and another for everyone else. Now they are attacking our right of self-defense with red flag laws and onerous regulations and fees. Finally, environmentalism has been used to justify government expansion into all aspects of our lives – in the name of saving the planet. But it has given us skyrocketing fuel prices and a broken supply chain.

But just because Joe has decided to collide with an iceberg doesn’t mean he isn’t steering this ship. He’s being stupid and stubborn, but not rudderless.

Socialism is a perverted compromise between two entirely incompatible systems – capitalism and communism. It has been tried many times, but has never worked. It fails because it runs counter to human nature. To keep it going requires massive government control and spending. Ultimately, it crushes the human spirit and lowers the standard of living. For it to continue the state must eventually control every aspect of human existence, placing itself above God, family, and individual liberty. It requires humans to assume a hive existence. Freedom and socialism cannot coexist.

As the socialist experiment fails, its practitioners must make a choice. They can choose to return to capitalism. Or they can double down and commit to full-blown communism – state control of everything. That’s why the Dems are feeling hopeless. We’re at that fork in the road. Returning to capitalism would require the Dems to admit that they’ve been wrong about everything for the past 90 years (when the New Deal was started). That’s a mighty big pill to swallow. But communism is repugnant to people who have known freedom – and that destination is becoming visible over the horizon.

This experiment in leftism was destined to fail. Joe just had the ineptitude to make it fail faster than anyone thought possible. He did it faster than FDR, LBJ, Jimmy Carter, or Barack Obama. A clever President may have kept the ruse going for a few years. But that’s a level of clever that Biden does not have in his toolkit.

For the Dems, going back (to capitalism) represents failure. But going forward (to communism) also means failure (at the ballot box). Given their current predicament, hopelessness is the only emotion available to them.

They are locked into a path that is destined to treat them to a few electoral cycles in the wilderness. Maybe more than a few, if they don’t learn their lessons.

So are the Democrats

  • Rudderless – Nope
  • Aimless – Nope
  • Hopeless – Gloriously so

Joey from Scranton gave the spoiled kids on the left everything they wanted (just like he did his actual kids). He took a hard left turn and made a beeline for communism. But it resulted in $6 gas, empty store shelves, runaway inflation, and disappearing liberties. The number of Americans who think the country is on the wrong track is up to 88 percent. That is almost 9 out of 10 Americans who think we made the wrong choice at the capitalism/communism fork in the road. I’d feel hopeless too – if I were them.
