The Devil and the Death Shots

The United States is the only country in the world now injecting children under 5 with the COVID-19 vaccine.

I am energized. I’m angry. I’m more determined than ever to stand against this evil.

What got to me was a photo of Joe Biden holding an innocent baby reaching up to touch his masked face.

Biden the Idiot. The court buffoon. The puppet hobbling along, falling off his bike, staring into space, saying weird and unintelligible things, guided along by his poor little wife and his anxious handlers, setting the example for the masses so that they, too, will happily be led along. Close your eyes, shut off your mind.

Yes, that photo brought it all together and made it difficult for me to contain my rage. If ever I was convinced our government leaders serve the Devil—the actual Devil—that photo brought it home. No mincing of words today.

And then the headline associated the photo: “Biden visits clinic, celebrates COVID shots for kids under 5.

Celebrates.

He celebrates that 17 million more children, down to the age of 6 months, are now eligible for the death shot.

Six months-old, surely that will be the end of it. But you know what? They still aren’t satisfied. Those CEOs at Pfizer and Moderna, Albert Bourla and Stéphane Bancel, are in a little competition with one another. Who can inject the most babies and make the biggest profit?

Moderna is wasting no time: “Moderna to Study Its Covid-19 Vaccine in Babies as Young as 3 Months,” reports the Wall Street JournalAs many as 700 infants would be enrolled to test proper doses for ages 3 months to 6 months.

This evil is out of control. Where are the angels, the warriors? How does one fight against an enemy that cannot be attacked by sword or reason?

Visiting the Washington, D.C. clinic where the first shots were being administered, Biden proudly proclaimed to parents: “Relief, isn’t it? Being able to do it? We’re the only country in the world doing this right now.” Turning his dead eyes on one young girl, the White House occupant said, “This is a great place for you all. We’re going to beat this thing. You’ll be able to go anywhere you want.”

You’ll be able to go anywhere you want.

What kid doesn’t like the sound of that? Freedom! Just like any drug pusher on the street, take this little pill and you’ll fly. Except you will always and forever be their slave.

Come on just this one shot—or is it two or three or infinity? And then, who knows? Maybe when you’re 10 years old, you’ll want to change your sex, something your school will encourage you to do. By then, you’ll be so pumped full of drugs and used to it, what will be the harm of adding puberty blockers to the mix? Don’t worry, you won’t even need your parents’ permission.

Shh! don’t tell them! The state will take care of you. We will oh-so-lovingly pick you apart, piece by piece, and then put you back together again, scarred and addicted to our drugs forever. Or maybe we won’t put you back together again. Maybe we will extract your organs, your cells, your DNA, your young, fresh blood, so that the elite can tinker and play with it, finding ways to live longer while you die.

Think about it. All of these drugs and procedures are being approved. By the Biden puppet regime—owned by the pharmaceutical companies. They want every person in the United States to be an addict, starting at birth, or if they can achieve it, before birth. Little by little by little the public has been led to believe they cannot survive without their injections, pills, patches, and microchips.

Shame on us for not stopping it sooner. Because there were plenty of opportunities to stand up and refuse if we had just paid attention.

They did it with Ritalin, in 2011, lowering the age of prescription to 4 years-old. Ritalin was an important “gateway” drug easing parents into accepting governmental control of their children.

The American Academy of Pediatrics issued new treatment guidelines for “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” that said ADHD can be diagnosed in kids as early as age four, and that Ritalin and similar drugs are an appropriate treatment even for children this young.

Never mind that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration categorizes Ritalin in the same class of highly addictive drugs as cocaine, morphine and opium.

Some severe side effects of Ritalin include:

  • cardiovascular reactions, including sudden death, stroke, and heart attack;
  • increased blood pressure;
  • increased heart rate (tachycardia);
  • psychiatric adverse reactions, including worsening of a pre-existing psychiatric condition;
  • development of new psychotic or manic symptoms;
  • sustained and sometimes painful erections in males;
  • poor circulation, including Raynaud’s phenomenon;
  • long-term suppression of growth and weight loss in pediatric patients;
  • potential for abuse and dependence.

And yet, if a psychiatrist determines that a child has a mental “disorder” (ADHD) based on a checklist of behaviors such as “loses pencils or toys,” “often does not seem to listen,” “is easily distracted by extraneous stimuli,” “fidgets” or “runs about or climbs excessively in situations when it is not appropriate” he or she may be administered this drug.

Parents agreed, willingly sedating their children in order to comply with the state.

We complain about injecting our children with an mRNA gene therapy. Yet, vaccines previously given to our children contained poisons like mercury, or ethylmercury (commonly known as thimerosal).

CounterPunch article in 2012 lays bare how the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), surely an organization parents should be able to trust, vehemently opposed the United Nations proposed “binding treaty to ban ethylmercury from all medications and vaccines worldwide.

In the December 17, 2012, issue of Pediatrics, former AAP president Louis Cooper wrote:

Science clearly documented that we can’t find hazards from thimerosal in vaccines . . . The preservative plays a critical role in distribution of vaccines to the global community. It was a no-brainer what our position needed to be.

This despite its official position on mercury being made clear as far back as July 2001: “The developing fetus and young children are thought to be disproportionately affected by mercury exposure, because many aspects of development, particularly brain maturation, can be disturbed by the presence of mercury. Minimizing mercury exposure is, therefore, essential to optimal child health.”

Isn’t it amazing how “science” changes its position to validate the agendas of powerful drug companies?

America Is More Fragile Than the Left Understands ~ VDH

“There is a great deal of ruin in a nation.”
Adam Smith

The Left has been tempting fate since January 2021—applying its nihilist medicine to America on the premise that such a rich patient can ride out any toxic shock.

Our elites assume that all our nation’s past violent protests, all its would-be revolutions, all its cultural upheavals, all its institutionalized lawlessness were predicated on one central truth—America’s central core is so strong, so rich, and so resilient that it can withstand almost any assault.

So, we can afford 120 days in 2020 of mass rioting, $2 billion in damage, some 35 killed, and 1,500 police injured.

We can easily survive an Afghanistan, and our utter and complete military humiliation. There was no problem in abandoning some $70-80 billion in military loot to terrorists. Who cares that we tossed off a billion-dollar new embassy, and jettisoned a $300-million refitted air base, as long as our pride flags were waving in Kabul?

Certainly, we can afford to restructure all our universities, eliminate free expression and speech, and institute Maoist cultural revolutionary fervor in our revered institutions of higher learning—once the world’s greatest levers of scientific advancement and technological progress.

We can jettison merit in every endeavor, from banning the world’s great books to grading math tests to running chemistry experiments. And still, a resilient America won’t notice.

We assumed that our foundational documents—the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution—our natural bounty in North America, our cherished rule of law, our legal immigration traditions that drew in the most audacious and hardworking on the planet, and our guarantees of personal freedom and liberty led to such staggering wealth and affluence that nothing much that this mediocre generation could do would ever endanger our resilience.

But such inheritances are not written in stone. America, as the world’s only successful multiracial democratic republic, was always fragile. It was and is always one generation away from disappearing—should any cohort become so foolish as to mock its past, dismantle its institutions, revert to tribalism, redistribute rather than create wealth, and consume rather than invest.

We are that generation. And we have an accounting with nature’s limitations, given there is always a corrective, not a nice one, but remediation nonetheless for every excess.

Our major cities are no longer safe. Somehow, the Left has nearly wrecked San Francisco in less than a decade. A once beautiful and vibrant city is lawless, dirty, toxic, often boarded up, and losing population. It has turned into a medieval keep of well-protected knights in secure fiefs while everyone else is engaged in a bellum omnium contra omnes.

We know it is so because California public officials talk of anything and everything—Roe v. Wade, transitions to electric cars, hundreds of millions of dollars in COVID-19 relief for illegal aliens—to mask their utter impotence to address feces in the street, the random assaults on the vulnerable, and the inability to park a car and return to it intact.

Ditto the Dodge City downtowns of Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Baltimore, Washington, and a host of others. In just four or five years, they have given up on fully funding the police, aggressive prosecutors indicting the violent, and ubiquitous civil servants ensuring the streets are free of trash, vermin, flotsam, jetsam, and human excrement.

There are natural reactions to such excess. The most terrifying is that our once-great cities, especially their downtowns, will simply shrink into something like ghost towns—our versions of an out-West Bodie, or an abandoned Roman city in the sand like Leptis Magna, or a Chernobyl.

But the culprit will not be a played-out mine, or encroaching desert, or a nuclear meltdown, but the progressive leadership of a worn-out, bankrupt people who no longer possess the confidence to keep their urban civilization safe and viable. And so, they either fled, or joined the mob, or locked themselves up in fortified citadels, both in fear to go out and terrified of losing what they owned.

We are seeing that deterioration already in our major cities. Stores are boarded up. Women cease to walk alone after sunset. Police officers walking the beat are now rare. Hate crimes, smash-and-grab robberies, and carjackings go unpunished. Streets are filthy and littered. Commerce and human interaction cease at dusk, as if in expectation that zombies will emerge to control the streets. Criminals when arrested are not always identified—the media censoring names and descriptions on their own selective theories of social justice.

But again, the culprit is not the COVID plague or want of money. It is us, we who turned over our cities to the incompetent, the selfish, the timid, and the violent.

There is again an antidote. But doubling the police force, bringing back broken-windows policing, electing tough prosecutors, moving the homeless from the downtown into hospitals and supervised shelters beyond the suburbs, arresting, convicting, and incarcerating the guilty—all that seems well beyond this generation’s capacity.

Would not such efforts be unfair to the mere rock-thrower? Who says the fentanyl user has no right to defecate on the street? Would not our jails become overcrowded? Would the incarcerated be unduly overrepresented by this or that group?

Joe Biden took a strong economy—albeit one that after three serial spendthrift presidencies faced huge national debt and a rendezvous with fiscal sobriety—and has utterly ruined it.

He discouraged labor participation with federal checks. He ensured that his minions on the politicized Federal Reserve Board would keep interest rates artificially low. Biden inflated the money supply while debasing the value of the currency. He brought back mindless regulation and put ideological commissars in place to ensure the corporations, banks, and Wall Street would be woke, allowing ideology to warp ancient economic laws that kept prices stable, supply and demand in balance, and incentives to work and profit.

Many thought Biden would have needed at least four or five years to wreck such a strong economy with such nihilism rather than a mere 16 months.

Yet nature is about to step in with a recession and perhaps even a depression to correct the Biden madness. If interest rates rise, capital dries up, businesses close, employers cut back, consumers no longer have access to easy money, and the nation becomes inert, then the country will be worse off, spend less—and that too will be a brutal solution of sorts to Biden’s hyperinflation and stagflation.

Still, it is hard to see how anyone in the government might prefer the proper and necessary medicine at this late hour. An updated Simpson-Bowles plan still could address long-term insolvency. Meaningless regulations could be pruned back. The tax code could be radically altered and simplified to encourage investment rather than consumption. Entitlements could be calibrated by incentives to become productive rather than to remain inert. All of that might return us to a sound currency, a strong GDP, long-term financial solvency, and general prosperity for all. But are not such medicines perceived as worse than the disease?

There is an answer to the open border, when upwards of 4 million illegal aliens will flow into the United States in a mere two years, for the most part without audits, English, capital, income, and vaccinations—and with no idea how to house, feed, or provide health care for millions without background checks.

At this late date, the corrections of stopping catch and release, ending amnesties, hiring more border patrol officers and immigration judges, or building more detention centers are too little too late.

Eventually, Americans will become acculturated to large enclaves of endemic poverty, as millions with no familiarity with the United States are neither assimilated nor integrated.

The border will then disappear, and northern Mexico and the southern United States will become indistinguishable, as millions simply drift back and forth in the manner of an ancient Gaul or Germania. Large areas of Texas, Arizona, and California are already returning to such pre-state status.

Or the alternate corrective will be the completion of a massive wall from the Pacific to the Gulf, with strict audits of all would-be immigrants, immediate deportations for lawbreakers, and legal only immigration that is measured, diverse, and meritocratic.

We are reaching the inflection point quickly and will either experience the absolute destruction of the border or a radical backlash, given that the current mess is unsustainable. Either a nation with borders survives or a tribal and nomadic region supplants it.

If America chooses to shut down refineries, put our rich oil and natural gas fields off-limits, cancel pipelines, and demonize the fossil fuel industry, then, of course, prices for carbon fuels will explode.

The Biden Administration talks nonsensically about Teslas, batteries, and electric replacements. But it is not greenlighting mining for the critical minerals needed for batteries. It is not encouraging nuclear power plants to provide enough power for a clean fleet of 200 million electric cars. There is no Marshall Plan to wean America off mostly non-polluting natural gas and gasoline onto electricity-hungry engines.

Instead, Biden begs the Saudis, the Russians, the Venezuelans, and even the Iranians to pump the fuel he will not. He seeks to drain the Strategic Petroleum Reserve that can supply only a fraction of the oil America gulps daily. He defines his own pre-midterm, self-created mess as a national emergency to tap a reserve he could never fill or refill.

So, what is the natural corrective to unaffordable fuel?

A likely Biden recession or depression, in which the middle classes simply do not enjoy jobs that pay enough to afford $6-9-a-gallon gas. And so, they will not drive. Vacations, optional shopping trips, and visits to friends—all that and more will taper off. Gas will stabilize at near-European levels, and the people, as planned, will be rerouted into dirty and unsafe subways and mass transit.

Biden will be happy. But America won’t be the same mobile country.

America’s bounty was predicated on each generation following the prompt of the prior, modulating when change was necessary, but not daring to tamper with the foundational principles and values that explained our singular wealth, power, and leisure.

This generation in its arrogance tested fate. It felt itself smarter and morally superior to its betters of the past. It lost that wager and now we the public are paying for its foolishness. To destroy America as we have always known it, there was far less necessary to ruin than our elite believed.

Like a stunned adolescent whose reckless incompetence totaled the family car, the Left seems shocked that America proved so fragile after all.

Joe Biden and Democrats Stare Into the Abyss After Latest Poll Drops

Bonchie reporting for RedState

While pro-life individuals are celebrating a massive victory following the Supreme Court’s decision to overrule Roe v. Wade, Democrats have spent the last several days coping and seething.

One of the ways the radical left has attempted to self-medicate is by telling themselves that the abortion issue will somehow be an electoral winner in November. As the story goes, masses of voters will suddenly change sides, ignoring everything actually affecting their lives, in order to vote for Joe Biden’s party.

Sunday’s polling drop paints a different picture, though. Naturally, the president’s approval remains in the dumps. He hit a new high in disapproval in the CBS News survey

Biden at 40 percent approval is actually higher than a lot of other polls, but you always have to compare a poll to its prior iterations to see what the trends are telling you. CBS News/YouGov has been consistently kind to the president over the last year, and for him to drop to a new low in even a friendly survey is noteworthy. If Democrats were hoping for a late-game rebound, that’s nowhere to be found.

But it’s the breakdown of the issues that Americans care about that offers the most instruction. While Democrats hope to make abortion their biggest wedge issue for the mid-terms, it simply doesn’t register outside of diehards who made up their minds long ago.

Guess what happens when one side is running on an issue 82 percent of people rank as a top priority, while the other side is running on an issue that only 42 percent say is a top priority? The former wins every single time. Worse, for Democrats, some percentage of that 42 percent saying abortion is a top priority are pro-lifers, which does nothing to help their electoral chances–and actually works against it.

To put it simply, the strategy of making the mid-terms about abortion is going to fail. It’s akin to Liz Cheney’s ploy to appeal to Democrats in Wyoming. The math just doesn’t work, and there’s no reason to think the economy and inflation will do anything but remain the top issues for 80+ percent of Americans. Heck, not even Biden’s own officials are pretending anymore that prices are coming down anytime soon. With interest rates continuing to rise, the stock market will remain depressed as well.

The real question is: Why did Democrats think abortion would be their saving grace in the first place? The Dobbs decision leaked two months ago. If anything, Republicans have gained ground over that time. The fact that the decision is doubly official now is not going to do anything to change the national landscape. In fact, I think the radicalism of the progressive left getting laid bare on abortion could actually alienate some voters. They aren’t out there talking “safe, legal, and rare” anymore. It’s abortion through birth, and relatively few Americans support that.

In the end, Democrats are staring into the abyss, and their big solution is to douse themselves in gasoline near an open flame. They’ve got no good options, they know they have no good options, and they are going to ride their fractured base to total defeat in a few months.

U.S. Navy Pushes Transgender Pronouns While Allowing Massive War-Preparedness Gaps

Instead of giving the U.S. Navy the necessary resources to maintain peace and prepare for the next war, the Biden administration has focused on pushing wokeism in the U.S. military.

The U.S. Navy has issued an instructional video training its members to create a “safe space” by using “correct” pronouns. The video emphasized how service members must use “inclusive languages” and not “misgender” others.

For example, “Instead of saying something like ‘Hey, guys,’ you can say, ‘Hey, everyone,’ or ‘Hey, team.’” The video warned not to pressure others to disclose their pronouns because “some people may be going through the process of discovery.”

The video also offered a tip for memorizing someone’s pronouns by “going through a progression of three good things about the person using their pronouns … i.e. ‘They have a nice shirt. They have a nice smile. They are really smart.’”

This cringe-worthy video was reportedly modeled after a children’s show, which explains why the two hosts acted as if they were talking to kindergartners, even though their intended audience is full-grown adults. The video was part of the Biden administration’s and Pentagon top brass’s push to make the U.S. military a welcoming place for transgender service members. The U.S. Army offers similar gender identity training and coaches officers on when to provide soldiers with gender transition surgery.

Imposing Politicized Lies While The World Burns

These mandatory trainings occur at a time the U.S.-led liberal world order, which has guaranteed peace and prosperity for seven decades post World War II,  faces grave threats from adversaries such as Russia and China.

The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for almost four months. It has resulted in the loss of lives, millions of refugees, rising energy prices, worldwide food inflation, and food shortages. Sen. Marco Rubio warned, “Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is not the first time an authoritarian regime invaded its neighbor and, unfortunately, it won’t be the last.” He’s right, because China is currently planning a war over Taiwan. Between Russia and China, China presents a much more serious military challenge to the United States.

Take the Chinese Navy as an example. China has tripled its naval battle force within two decades and built the world’s largest navy, measured by the number of battle force ships. According to CNN, “Between 2014 and 2018, China launched more submarines, warships, amphibious vessels, and auxiliaries than the number of ships currently serving in the individual navies of Germany, India, Spain, and the United Kingdom.”

China today has 355 battle-force ships and continues to build more. Early this week, China launched its third and largest aircraft carrier, domestically designed and built. In a provocative move, China named its new aircraft “Fujian,” the coastal province closest to Taiwan. Experts project that the Chinese Navy will have 460 battle force ships by 2030.

In addition to building ships, China has also expanded its overseas military base. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) already has a base in Djibouti, an East African nation. Early this year, China and the Solomon Islands signed a security pact, which many people suspect would grant the Chinese Navy a permanent base in the South Pacific. Last week, The Washington Post reported that China is building a naval facility in Cambodia for its exclusive use “and taking extraordinary measures to conceal the operation.” The PLA is also rumored to be actively looking for a base in West Africa or the Middle East.

Depleted U.S. Navy Wastes Time on False Pronouns

While China is expanding its navy capacity and footprints, the U.S. Navy has been going in the opposite direction. The number of U.S. Navy battle-force ships has shrunk from 318 in 2000 to 296 in 2021. In addition to a smaller fleet size, many ships are reaching their expiration date without replacements. The shrinking fleet size and aging naval assets have already affected the U.S. Navy’s ability to maintain its peacetime commitment worldwide.

Last summer, the U.S. Navy reportedly had to “divert its only Pacific aircraft carrier to deal with the withdrawal from Afghanistan.” Some also pointed out that the U.S. Navy had spent less time patrolling the Black Sea in recent years, which might have inadvertently emboldened Putin to take action on Ukraine.

Jim Townsend, a fellow at the Center for a New American Security think tank in Washington, D.C., said, “so much of deterrence and dealing with other nations geopolitically has do with presence… If you’re not there one way or another, then the assumption is you don’t care about it.” Even though some experts believe the U.S. Navy is more capable of naval warfare than any other navy, including the untested Chinese Navy, the quantity of battle force ships still matters in deterring wars, preserving peace, and winning the wars if they start.

Future Shrinkage Expected

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday estimated that to effectively counter adversaries like China and meet the U.S. global security commitment, the U.S. Navy needs “about 350 ships and another 150 unmanned or lightly manned vessels, for a total of 500.” Since shipbuilding takes time, Gilday was describing a vision for 2045. Meanwhile, China doesn’t wait idly. Adm. Philip Davidson, commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, warned that China could invade Taiwan within six years.

Recognizing the precarious situation U.S. Navy was in, the Trump administration announced an ambitious fleet plan toward the end of its first term. But the Biden administration shelved the project and continued to downsize the Navy in the name of “divest to invest.” The Navy’s 2023 budget plans to purchase nine ships while retiring 24. The projection is that by 2027, the U.S. Navy will have only 280 battle force ships. The Wall Street Journal editorial board put it bluntly, “The truth is the Navy finds itself without the resources to expand its fleet or sustain its current ships, and some of its inventory is ill-suited for the next fight.”

Instead of giving the U.S. Navy the necessary resources to maintain peace and prepare for the next war, the Biden administration has focused on pushing wokeism in the U.S. military. According to information obtained by the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Department of Defense has spent close to 6 million man-hours and $1 million on trainings across the military regarding climate change, extremism, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

This training took place as the military already reported not getting enough preparation for combat due to budget constraints. For example, the Navy said it had to reduce pilots’ flying hours by 10 or 20 percent.

Any concerned citizen ought to ask: Is providing pronoun training the best way to deploy the U.S. military’s limited resources? How does such training prepare our service members for wars? If our soldiers need a “safe space” to escape any perceived harm of “misgendering,” what happens when missiles are flying and bullets are fired during combat? Do our military top brass and the Biden administration truly believe that wokeism is America’s best defense? Will it deter adversaries and keep the United States and its allies safe?

One of the critical lessons of America’s humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan is that regardless of our military capability, disaster can happen when our political and military leaders are distracted. Our adversaries are constantly looking for opportunities to exploit our weaknesses in order to advance their own geopolitical ambitions. If the political and military leaders of this country continue to invest in getting the military woke rather than preparing it for growing geopolitical threats, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan may not be the last failure we witness.

Celebrities Deliver Nasty, Uninformed Hot Takes on Roe Reversal

Bob Hoge reporting for RedState

It’s strange that so many “celebrities” think that just because they’ve been successful singing, acting, or posing in skimpy outfits for a living that their opinions are somehow important. Often their “hot takes” are downright nasty, usually uninformed, and in a word, stupid.

We knew they’d come out in full force if Roe were overturned, and now that it has been, they’re lining up to deliver their loathsome opinions. Take credit card hawker Samuel L Jackson rushing quickly to throw out racist taunts:

“Uncle Clarence” is an obvious nod to Harriet Beecher Stowe’s celebrated 1852 novel, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” which described a “saintly and dignified” slave named Uncle Tom who was famously compliant and even friendly to his oppressors. Today, calling someone an Uncle Tom is a clear racist insult, but it seems to be used solely by the “tolerant” left.

Imagine if Trump called someone an Uncle Tom. The world would explode.

Meanwhile, Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of the band Green Day–which was last popular in the Nineties–decided his hysterical opinion needed to be shouted out to the world. At a concert in London, U.K., Friday night, he railed:

Warning: coarse language, below

F**k America. I’m f***ing renouncing my citizenship…

There’s just too much f***ing stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f***ing excuse for a country.

Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.

Oh great, “you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.” Because what we really want this week is more of your ranting. Not wanting to be left out, Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland, mostly famous for posing nude, being threatened by her father, and getting tattoos, decided her voice was essential to the argument:

F*** this absolutely disgusting country,’ Ireland wrote on Insta Stories. ‘”Well move” Maybe I will. I’m ashamed to be an American.

Buh-bye; don’t let the door hit you on the way out. She posted this startlingly intellectual argument while also posing naked in a bathtub, with a wineglass full of a presumably tasty beverage. Just the voice we need.

Singer Billie Eilish, meanwhile, was too tired to think during her own, U.K. live appearance:

I’m not surprised she’s too tired to think. Thinking doesn’t seem to be a strong point for many celebrities—emoting is clearly enough.

I think what’s frustrating to so many conservatives is how uninformed and frankly idiotic many of these opinions are. Forget the racist language or the maniacal rage that spews from their tweets and statements. It’s that they simply have the facts wrong. The SCOTUS decision does not outlaw abortion, and it does not abolish any rights that were originally enshrined in our Constitution. It simply overturns one of the worst legal decisions ever made, Roe v Wade, and hands the power to decide back to the states, which is what our founders intended.

There are many, many more of these angry opinions, from Bette Midler to John Legend to every minor celebrity who ever existed, but the question remains: why should we care what these airheads think? The answer is, increasingly, we don’t.

Curious How the Department of Justice and FBI Are Trying to Bolster the Failing January 6 Commission, Isn't It?

streiff reporting for RedState

When the clownish January 6 Committee kicked off operations, its mission was laughably transparent. The intent was to falsely label a demonstration at the US Capitol as an “insurrection.” With that at the springboard, the committee, in best Stalinist style, would link individual Republican members to the insurrection, and they would be able to keep Donald Trump on the ballot in November 2022 to run against him.

So far, the plan isn’t working out all that well. Two Republican members of Congress who the lunatic left tried to get kicked off the ballot under a bizarre interpretation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment survived the storm of stupid powering that effort (see Madison Cawthorn and Marjorie Taylor Greene Are Not “Insurrectionists” and Progressive Lunatics Can’t Keep Them off the Ballot). The January 6 goobers then slandered GA Republican Barry Loudermilk, claiming he’d guided an insurrectionist reconnaissance party through the Capitol in advance of the demonstration. That story blew up when the US Capitol Police, no less, laughed at it; see January 6th Committee Has a Laughable New ‘Bombshell,’ Lefties Promptly Run With Disinformation, and J6 Committee Gets Busted Trying to Spread a Whopper.

The “must-see” television event turned out to be a ratings flop with every demographic except nursing home residents (How Bad Is It When Even Democrats Are Calling Your Big January 6 Hearing a ‘Flop?’). Polls indicate that January 6 is a non-issue with just about everyone other than Beltway journalists (New Poll and Congressional Dems Sweep the Leg out From Under J6 Committee).

So how do the Democrats rescue this fiasco and keep it going until November?

If I thought that the Department of Justice was a hyper-partisan hive of progressive Democrats willing to use the coercive power of the administrative state to meddle in a federal election by creating facts, I’d be suspicious. If I thought the FBI was a thoroughly corrupt Democrat Gestapo happy to frame political figures for crimes and even eavesdrop on the conversations of a president-elect, I’d be concerned. But since I don’t believe either of those things, just let me toss this out here.

In the past few weeks, the FBI has been carrying out some very high visibility operations tied to the January 6 dumbfu**ery. It started out with the FBI arresting one of the GOP primary gubernatorial candidates in Michigan. The charges against Ryan Kelley are all misdemeanors and include such notorious offenses as gesturing, filming protestors, and helping a protestor to his feet. This is Third World stuff. Really, it is stuff that would shame a Third World autocrat, but our DOJ and FBI are on the job 24/7 to show that they don’t care about appearances; see FBI Arrests GOP Candidate for Governor of Michigan Over January 6 Misdemeanors and What That Means for 2024. Next, Jeff Clark, a Trump Justice Department official, got the full Roger Stone treatment when an FBI SWAT team arrived in the darkness to execute a search warrant; see Jeff Clark Describes Disgusting Scene to Tucker Carlson After FBI Raids His Home for 2020 Election Wrong-Think. Finally, the state chairman of the Nevada GOP and the Trump Campaign’s director of election day operations for Arizona have had electronic devices seized via subpoenas that seemed to arrive at CNN at the same time the subjects of the investigation received them.

These actions are obviously choreographed with the January 6 Committee because the FBI would have done all of this a year ago if they were real.

My prediction is that we will see these highly publicized subpoenas and search warrants for increasingly prominent GOP politicians cascade as we get closer to November 2022. While there is no evidence of any sort of a “conspiracy” to “overthrow” the government, the Department of Justice and the FBI, working at the behest of their political masters in the House Democrat caucus, will try to create an illusion that GOP politicians at every echelon of government were involved in this nonsense scheme.

The January 6 demonstration has been under investigation for a year and a half. It has shown the federal bureaucracy at its most brutal and that the Democrats are willing to manufacture an alleged “Constitutional crisis” where none existed for political gain. The strategy of making this silly self-licking ice cream cone of a commission the Democrat electoral strategy for 2022 is backfiring. No one cares about January 6 because sane people know that the entire story is bullsh**. No number of bogus FBI raids and subpoenas are going to change that.

What conservative members of Congress, and Senators, and conservative activists need to do, however, is keep track of who handles these search warrants and subpoenas. When the day comes that there is a Republican president, a top priority must be given to driving everyone, no matter what their rank, who touched the paperwork or participated in carrying out these Stasi-like operations from the federal government.
