Liawatha Heap Big Mad

Senator Liawatha is big mad because she might not be able to kill babies any longer. WATCH:

There is something very disturbing about people who cannot control their physical, mental or emotional state.  Expressing rage because the abortion issue could potentially be reversed back to the states for rules and restrictions on the murder of babies reflects a particular instability.

I love being a patriot these days. :) Here's tonight's news:

When Nina Met Joey

When it comes to picking a disinformation boss, don’t discount the possibility of poontronage.

Asked about Nina Jankowicz, the executive director of the federal government’s new Disinformation Governance Board, Department of Homeland Security boss Alejandro Mayorkas said, “I don’t question her objectivity.”

“There are people in the department who have a diverse range of views, and they’re incredibly dedicated to the mission,” Mayorkas added. “We’re not the opinion police. She has testified before Congress a number of times, she’s recognized as a tremendous authority, and we’re very fortunate to have her.”

But Jankowicz, 33, has already provided reasons to question her objectivity.

As Roger Kimball explains, Nina Jankowicz is an “anti-Trump hack,” already on record that Hunter Biden’s laptop is a “Trump campaign product” and “Russian influence op.” Jankowicz is also a big fan of Christopher Steele, author of the pissing prostitutes dossier, a Clinton campaign product now exposed as pure disinformation.

Jankowicz also criticized Trump Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe for his declassification decisions. According to our new government disinformation chief, Ratcliffe “dredged up the whole Hillary Clinton email scandal and the hack and leak operation perpetrated by the Russians, and again, that seemed like a political decision designed to help President Trump.”

Such faithful service is doubtless the primary reason for the selection of Jankowicz. On the other hand, another possibility cannot be discounted.

Nina Jankowicz is a wannabe chanteuse who croons “I want to be rich, famous and powerful, step on all my enemies and never do a thing,” on YouTube. That tune, David Friedman’s “My Simple Christmas Wish,” asks “who do I have to fake?” to get rich, famous, and powerful. In one rendition, Jankowicz changed that lyric to “who do I have to fuck” to get rich and powerful.

The most likely candidate is the “the Big Guy” referenced in the Hunter Biden laptop. Aside from his plagiarism, Joe Biden has a record as a hands-on guy with a nose for the ladies. As Bill Clinton confirmed, the White House is an ideal place for the most powerful man in the world to get some action with Monica Lewinsky, the 21-year-old intern who gave Bill the benefit of hindsight.

Joe’s second-in-command, Kamala Harris, owes her start to poontronage from Democrat queenmaker Willie Brown, a married man 30 years her senior. Brown set up his steady girlfriend in lucrative sinecures and backed her runs for district attorney of San Francisco, state attorney general, the U.S. Senate, and now vice president. As it turned out, a little poontronage went a long way.

At 79, the married Joe Biden is some 46 years older than Nina Jankowicz, but the Delaware Democrat believes he is ageless. He’s been known to challenge people to push-up contests and brags about taking rival candidates out behind the gym for a whipping. So it’s not a stretch that Joe Biden would want to test his virility, especially with both a willing partner and pharmaceutical boosters at the ready.

Some day Biden’s disinformation boss may post a video about how it all went down. The self-styled “Mary Poppins of misinformation” is going to be busy.

Biden has openly touted voter fraud, but the Delaware Democrat does have a devious side.

As Hunter Biden’s laptop reveals, in emails to his son, Joe Biden used the pseudonym “Peter Henderson,” which has a history of sorts.

In several Tom Clancy novels, including The Hunt for Red October, Peter Henderson is the name of a Soviet spy embedded in the U.S. government. Joe Biden started using the pseudonym in October 2016, to forward a YouTube video to Hunter. The National Pulse first picked up on the ruse in October 2020.

For Jankowicz, that’s all Russian disinformation. Maybe she’ll clear it up in her powerful new post with the Department of Homeland Security, which could also stand some scrutiny.

Established in 2002 in the wake of 9/11, the DHS failed to prevent terrorist attacks at Fort Hood, Texas, in 2009 (14 dead, more than 30 wounded); San Bernardino, California, in 2015 (14 murdered, more than 20 wounded); Orlando, Florida, in 2016, with 49 murdered and more than 50 wounded. Under Mayorkas, the DHS now targets anyone less than worshipful of the Biden regime.

According to a February 7 DHS bulletin, the United States is now under a heightened threat from “an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis-, dis-, and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors.”

The bulletin neglects to mention any of the “actors,” foreign or domestic. The DHS finds a threat in “the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions.” How about the DHS, for example?

In 2002, the late P. J. O’Rourke said the Department of Homeland Security sounded like a failed savings and loan. By 2022, the foundering security agency had been fundamentally transformed into an organ of thought control. Look for that to continue under anti-Trump hack Nina Jankowicz, a “tremendous authority,” as Mayorkas said, and incredibly dedicated to the mission.

6 Dystopian Things Biden’s ‘Disinformation Board’ Pick Nina Jankowicz Has Done

Nina Jankowicz wants to police memes, but is totally cool with lies fabricated by the Clinton campaign to take down Trump.

Mere days after eccentric billionaire Elon Musk’s buyout of Twitter sent the political censors into a tizzy, the Biden administration debuted a “Disinformation Governance Board” to crack down on online speech the White House doesn’t like. The proposed agency, which would fall under the Department of Homeland Security, already merits the comparisons many have drawn to George Orwell’s “ministry of truth,” but Joe Biden’s appointment of Nina Jankowicz to be the board’s executive director makes the hackery even more obvious.

Here are six of the most dystopian things Jankowicz — whom DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas ridiculously called “absolutely” politically neutral — has ever said or done.

1. She Helped Choke the Hunter Biden Bombshell

Shortly after The New York Post broke inflammatory news of damning emails and photos on a laptop belonging to then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter, Jankowicz aided the coordinated effort by legacy media and Big Tech to quash the story right before the election.

The Associated Press (among many other outlets) pooh-poohed the explosive news, citing Jankowicz’s input to claim “disinformation experts say there are multiple red flags that raise doubts about their authenticity, including questions about whether the laptop actually belongs to Hunter Biden.”

“We should view it as a Trump campaign product,” Jankowicz told the AP.

More than a year later, even corporate outlets including both The New York Times and The Washington Post quietly, grudgingly admitted the laptop is indeed real. In other words, the woman tapped to lead Biden’s disinformation Gestapo has herself engaged in textbook disinformation.

2. Her Creepy Mary Poppins Disinformation Song

In February 2021, Jankowicz posted a very weird video on TikTok singing about so-called disinformation to the tune of an iconic “Mary Poppins” song.

“Information laundering is really quite ferocious. It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious, by saying them in Congress or a mainstream outlet, so disinformation’s origins are slightly less atrocious,” she sang in the bizarre jingle.

3. That Time She Called for Censoring Memes

“The biggest challenge in identifying this content both for our team and for platforms is what we’ve dubbed ‘malign creativity’ — the coded language, memes, and context-based content which allow harmful posts to avoid detection,” Jankowicz tweeted in a thread about content she thinks needs more censoring.

A related report she co-authored went so far as to claim that “malign creativity,” including “iterative, context-based visual and textual memes,” is “the greatest obstacle to detecting and enforcing against online gendered abuse and disinformation.”

4. She Suggested Using Cops to Police Online Speech

Discussing “online abuse” toward women in an April interview, Jankowicz insisted, “We need to at least upskill police officers and local law enforcement to deal with these things and perhaps start some collaboration.”

“In the UK, they’re looking at making the content that they call ‘awful, but lawful’ illegal,” she continued. “I think we need to think about that as well, because again, going back to the comparative situation, if I were walking down the street and there were a bunch of men yelling these slurs at me, the police would intervene, I could get a restraining order against these people who are coming back again and again to say these things to me. Online, that just doesn’t exist yet. So I’m hopeful for that architecture to come into play.”

5. She Praised for RussiaGater Christopher Steele

In August 2020, Jankowicz tweeted about what a great authority Christopher Steele was on disinformation.

“Listened to this last night- Chris Steele (yes THAT Chris Steele) provides some great historical context about the evolution of disinfo. Worth a listen,” she tweeted about a podcast appearance.

Steele is the infamous ex-MI6 agent who was hired in 2016 by FusionGPS (which was hired by Perkins Coie, the law firm representing Hilary Clinton’s presidential campaign) to manufacture a collection of sensational lies about then-candidate Donald Trump, which became known as the Steele dossier. The dossier was then peddled to the FBI and various media outlets, and serves as the basis for years of false slanders about Trump via the Russia collusion hoax.

Jankowicz’s praise of Steele is just one more instance of her support for actual disinformation when it fits her agenda. She wants to police Twitter memes, but is totally cool with lies fabricated by a Democrat presidential candidate’s campaign to take down her opponent and choke his presidency.

6. She Called Insulting Kamala a Threat to Democracy

“I wrote about the online gendered abuse I experienced, and the attacks we tracked against
@KamalaHarris, @AOC, @IlhanMN, & more,” Jankowicz wrote on Twitter, referring to an article she wrote for Wired. “Platforms and governments aren’t doing enough. It’s time to act. Our national security and democracy are at stake.”

It’s certainly unpleasant when cowardly people choose to tear down others for no good reason from behind a computer screen. But you don’t have to defend any actually malicious comments about Democrats like Kamala Harris to remember that the same media types whining now have hurled countless and inexcusable slander at Republican women like Sarah Palin without batting an eye. Double standard aside, online insults are hardly the biggest national security threat to America today.

By no means is Jankowicz’s disturbing history alone what makes the “disinformation board” so foreboding. It’s not unlikely Biden will yank her name from the ring once her radicalism becomes more widely known, or in an attempt to tamp down criticism of the new unit.

But with or without her, the proposed agency is just as dystopian as it sounds — and any Americans who value the First Amendment should speak out against it while they still can.

Sony Refuses to Bow to China’s Censorship Requests in Spider Man Movie

Sony Refuses to Bow to China’s Censorship Requests in Spiderman Movie

The Chinese government is walking a tightrope in the 21st century, both holding their citizenry hostage via authoritarian communism, and also importing plenty of intellectual property from around the world in order to improve their meager standard of living.  The only problem being that the messages in art and culture around the world just don’t jibe with being under the boot of a tyrannical government.

And so China leverages the consumer power of their enormous, captive population against western media giants in hopes of influencing their art.  Beijing simply cannot have freedom-centric plot lines infiltrating their citizen’s minds.

While many companies have capitulated to China on account of the massive buying power of the nation, Sony has turned down Beijing’s recent request to alter one of Marvel’s recent blockbusters.

Sony reportedly refused the Chinese government’s demand to scrub the Statue of Liberty from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

According to Puck on Sunday, citing “multiple sources,” the Chinese government requested the Statue of Liberty be digitally removed from the film, despite its inclusion in a pivotal scene. Sony rejected the request.

The Chinese government then asked if the Statue of Liberty could be, according to Puck, “minimized in the sequence: if Sony could cut a few of the more patriotic shots of [Tom] Holland standing atop the crown, or dull the lighting so that Lady Liberty’s visage wasn’t so front-and-center.” Sony considered the request, but declined.

Not everyone has the same integrity as Sony, however.

The NBA recently ran into trouble in China after a team owner tweeted their support for Hong Kong’s long-held independence.  Beijing threatened to boycott the league altogether, and the next thing you know LeBron James was trotted out to say heavily complimentary things about China.

Democrats Push Incredibly Dangerous Response to Roe v. Wade Being Overturned

Bonchie reporting for RedState

We are currently in the midst of the biggest left-wing breakdown since Donald Trump won the 2016 election, and to be honest, I think that was child’s play compared to what we are seeing now. The responses to a draft decision overturning Roe v. Wade being leaked have been absolutely hysterical and deranged.

As RedState reported earlier on Tuesday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren had an emotional (and nearly physical) collapse on camera, screaming about how angry she is over the fact that fewer children might be killed in the womb. Elsewhere, liberals either appeared to call for revolution or outright did.

But if you bet on the dumbest, most vicious responses coming from the so-called “squad,” you can go to the window to collect your winnings. Rep. Cori Bush went on MSNBC with far-left host Andrea Mitchell to suggest something I can only describe as dangerous, and I’ll explain why below.

Clearly, Democrats do not actually care about protecting our system of governance or its norms and traditions. Rather, they gauge their “respect” for our system on whether it gives them what they want or not. When it doesn’t, they are willing to burn down anything to get their way.

The United States Supreme Court is a legitimate branch of government, with appointees placed there by presidents and senators duly elected by the people. Bush doesn’t care, though. She wants to pack the Supreme Court (which is the stuff of dictatorships), but perhaps worse, she wants to violate the Constitution by “codifying” Roe into “law,” while forcing pro-life Americans to pay for abortions as some kind of sick revenge ploy.

What kind of deranged, evil person even suggests such a thing? To force Americans to do something that violates their very being?

I don’t say this lightly, but that kind of thing is dangerous. In no way am I calling for any internal conflict in the United States. Quite the opposite, as I’m the one currently telling all the triggered libs that their calls for revolution are asinine and short-sighted. But even still, doing something as openly hostile and damaging as what Bush suggests would push the nation to a point of division where violence could break out. I say that not to promote the idea, but to say that everyone needs to take a step back and stop the escalation.

The “right to abortion” was invented out of thin air by the Supreme Court. There is no question the Supreme Court has the authority to reverse it. Such a decision does not justify blowing up the filibuster, packing the court, and exacting harmful vengeance on pro-life Americans. We either live in a Constitutional republic or we don’t. Bush and the rest of her party do not get to pick and chose when to uphold it. This lunacy needs to stop.

‘Insurrection’ Trends After Hysterical Democrats at Long Last Get Hoist by Their Own Petard

'Insurrection' Trends After Hysterical Democrats at Long Last Get Hoist by Their Own Petard

AP Photo/Anna Johnson

Ever since the Capitol riot, Democrats, the media, and of course ankle-biting Never Trumpers desperate for a perma-gig on MSNBC have tried to portray what happened on Jan. 6th, 2021 as an “insurrection” coordinated and signed off on at the highest echelons of power in America.

There is no evidence to support such sensational claims, not about it being an “insurrection,” not about it being planned by powerful Republicans, none of it. In fact, what we know so far suggests a ragtag bunch that unfortunately took advantage of an opportunity to storm the Capitol building on the same day then-President Trump held a rally urging supporters to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard” regarding their concerns about the presidential election results.

Nevertheless, the accusations continue to be made as the farcical Capitol riot “investigation” by the Jan. 6th Committee continues to play out despite the fact that it has not been the political election-year game-changer Democrats had planned for it to be.

While opinions between Republicans and Democrats vary as to what an “insurrection” actually means, if we go by what appears to be the left’s definition, it would seem that’s exactly what they’ve been calling for in the aftermath of the blockbuster report from Politico about the draft majority opinion from SCOTUS in which Justice Samuel Alito wrote in response to the Mississippi pro-life case currently before the court that “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled.”

We documented late Monday several instances of prominent Twitter blue checks on the left calling for, in so many words, total war in response to the story, similar to their hysterical reactions to the news of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death in September 2020.

For instance, Vox.com senior correspondent Ian Millhiser tweeted“Seriously, shout out to whoever the hero was within the Supreme Court who said ‘f*ck it! Let’s burn this place down.'”

“Progressive pastor” John Pavlovitz wrote “This is war.”

Agitators who the media will soon be calling “peaceful protesters” were screaming their heads off behind barricades just feet away from the steps of the Supreme Court building in scenes reminiscent of the brutal Supreme Court confirmation fight over Brett Kavanaugh, where at one point we saw radical leftists pounding on the doors of the Supreme Court to stop Kavanaugh from being sworn in.

But it’s not just random leftists in Washington, D.C. and the verified ones on Twitter who are whipping the outrage mobs into a frenzy – it’s powerful elected officials on the left and those who want to be who are using similar and in some cases worse language, language that if the words were coming from a Republican we’d have 24-7 wall to wall coverage for weeks on end about how Republicans were “inciting” folks to riot.

Here’s a screengrabbed version of a tweet from California Gov. Gavin Newsom calling on folks to “fight like hell”:

Independent journalist Andy Ngo caught DeSantis hater, moonbat Democrat and current candidate for Florida Attorney General Daniel Uhlfelder of “Grim Reaper” infamy calling for “revolution”:

As a result of calls to action like that and similar ones like it, conservatives were quick to put the label “insurrection” on it, causing the word to trend on Twitter for hours as liberals got hoist by their own petard.

After all, we elect presidents. Presidents get to nominate Supreme Court justices. The Senate has a very important “advise and consent” role in the process. When the Supreme Court decides a case, that’s the final word regardless of whether someone likes it or not (at least until the next court case presents itself on down the line). If Democrats are going to “fight like hell” and “revolt” against the Supreme Court assuming the draft majority opinion holds, doesn’t that amount to an insurrection, after all?

Just askin’.

The Blue Check Hysterics are Melting Down

I haven’t seen this level of over-the-top histrionics from the Blue Check hysterics on Twitter since the wee hours of November 9, 2016.

The Blue Check hysterics hadn’t even stopped screeching over Elon Musk buying Twitter and already they have something new to screech about.

Honestly, I haven’t seen this level of over-the-top histrionics from the Blue Check hysterics on Twitter since the wee hours of November 9, 2016.

Some activist working as a Supreme Court clerk leaked the draft of Justice Samuel Alito’s opinion on the Mississippi abortion law case last night and instantly the Blue Check hysterics screeching about Musk just days ago started screeching that abortion is about to be “overturned.”

Guys, if you’re going to start melting down about the contents of a draft opinion, perhaps you should at least be accurate about it.

If the Supreme Court rules in favor of Mississippi, it won’t “overturn abortion,” you ass cracks.

What it would do is leave abortion law in the hands of each individual state.

Some states already made abortion legal up to birth, including my garbage state of New York.

Here in New York, a doctor or midwife can be in the middle of telling the mother “Deep breath, and PUSH!” and Mom can say, “You know what? On second thought, kill it,” and it would be totally legal.

If the SCOTUS decision nullifies Roe v. Wade, it would remain totally legal in the state of New York to kill your child at any stage of pregnancy for any reason you want.

That may come as a shock to anyone who only gets their news from CNN or MSNBC, or heaven forbid the screeching Blue Check hysterics on Twitter. But there you go. Overturning Roe v. Wade wouldn’t make abortion illegal in the United States.

Governor Gavin Newsom huffily tweeted that the California legislature would amend its Constitution to make abortion legal through all three trimesters.

Does Newsom not realize he’s proving Alito’s point? An issue as politically fraught and divisive as abortion shouldn’t be decided by 9 unelected judges, but by the representatives most closely linked to the people – namely, the state legislatures.

If California lawmakers want to codify abortion in the state constitution, then they’re doing precisely what Alito said should happen.

But see, the Blue Check hysterics don’t want each state to decide. They want a one-size-fits-all federal dictate allowing unfettered abortion.

They need all control centralized.

It’s the same reason they want the United States Congress to determine the voting laws for all fifty states. It’s why they want gun laws, school curricula, health insurance requirements, and pretty much everything else decided in Washington DC.

Federalism terrifies these drama queens because it takes power out of the hands of a centralized federal government and places it where it belongs, in the hands of the people.

That is precisely why they are lying about what overturning Roe would do.

They know their rhetoric is false. They know it won’t “overturn abortion.” But they lie about it because they believe that the lie will help them maintain political power. They think there are enough slack-jawed morons out there who will believe the “overturning abortion” lie and vote Democrat in the midterms.

Of course, most of those slack-jawed morons were already planning to vote Democrat in the midterms, so I’m not entirely sure screeching inanities about the Court “overturning abortion” is going to have the effect the Blue Check hysterics desire.

And if the purpose of this strategic illegal leak is to help Democrats in November, then the leaker leaked too soon. It’s only May and they’re already working themselves into such a screaming lather, by the time November rolls around, most voters will have tuned out the screeching if for no other reason than to preserve their sanity.

There’s only so much screaming histrionics a body can take.

The other problem is, the bulk of the hysterics is coming from Twitter and the cable news networks nobody watches. Out here in the real world, life goes on. And right now, life in the real world is crippling inflation, rising consumer prices, stagnating wages, and the very real possibility of a recession making everything worse.

Compared to those real-world problems, the prospect of some states being free to limit abortion to the first trimester (which is broadly supported in polling) isn’t going to rate very high on the list of voter concerns.

Ismael Borrero: Cuba's Olympic wrestling champion defects

Wrestling star Ismael Borrero has become the latest Cuban athlete to defect.

Borrero, who won gold in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, abandoned the Cuban delegation while they were in Mexico for the Pan-American Wrestling Championships, a Cuban official said.

Cuban athletes have a long history of defecting while competing abroad.

The Cuban Institute of Sport said his defection was "a serious indiscipline within the Cuban sports system".

His current whereabouts are not known.

The 30-year-old athlete is one of Cuba's top Greco-Roman wrestlers, winning the world championship in 2015 and then again in 2019 - the same year Cubans elected him sports personality of the year.

The Cuban delegation had hoped that Borrero would shine at the championships in Acapulco, Mexico, after a disappointing performance at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where he lost his second bout after twice contracting Covid.

While defections of Cuban athletes are nothing new, recent months have seen a string of them - coinciding with an economic crisis on the Communist-run island.

In March, sailors Iris Laura Manso and Carlos Miguel Expósito fled to the United States, while long jumper Lester Lescay abandoned his delegation during a competition in Spain.

In July of last year, thousands of Cubans demonstrated across the island to voice anger over food and medicine shortages, price increases and the government's handling of the Covid pandemic.
