Day Five Update, Oklahoma, The People’s Convoy Crosses America

Friend of the Treehouse, John Spiropolous is traveling with The People’s Convoy and sharing ground reports along the route.

John has reported today, the convoy is gathering participants along the route and now encompasses approximately 20 miles of trucks. The truckers drive anywhere from a minimum of 250 to 375 miles a day. Travel times range from a minimum of three and a half hours of driving to a maximum of five and three quarters hours of driving a day.

As John shares, “the People’s Convoy, now more than 20 miles long, rolls through Oklahoma to cheering crowds at overpasses across the state.” The overpasses along the route are filled with cheering supporters.  Here’s the Day Five report.  WATCH:

The People's Convoy: 6 more trucker convoys plan on merging

The American truckers are gearing up for a massive protest in Washington DC in opposition to tyrannical COVID mandates.

Similar to the truckers in Ottawa, the US Convoy plans to disrupt traffic in DC over the coming days and weeks, beginning around the time of Joe Biden’s upcoming State of the Union Address that’s scheduled for Tuesday, March 1st.

Thousands of protesters are expected to arrive for the demonstration, with several groups departing from across the country daily.

One of the largest of these groups – The Peoples Convoy – is rapidly growing as it finishes day six of eleven of its cross-country journey to the DC swamp. On Monday morning, the convoy had grown to around 3,000 vehicles as it reached the state of Missouri, which is about double what it was just two days ago when the convoy passed through Texas.

Just like the other states on this journey, the truckers were greeted with a warm welcome in Missouri, with countless supporters showing up at several overpasses to demonstrate their support.

Watch, from El American:

After picking up several more additions throughout the day, the convoy made camp for the night in Cuba, Missouri. Once again, a crowd was waiting to greet them when they arrived, bringing another round of donations, food, drinks, and supplies with them to be used in the upcoming protest.

The support that Americans have shown for the convoy has been overwhelming everywhere they have gone.

Tomorrow, the people’s convoy will depart Missouri and make its way to Indianapolis, where several other groups of vehicles are expected to merge with the convoy as it enters the last leg of its journey to Washington DC. Convoy Organizers who spoke with El American explained that they have been speaking with at least SIX other convoys that are planning on meeting up with the main group on Wednesday.

When the groups merge, the convoy is expected to be over 10,000 vehicles strong.

EPIC!

If this keeps up like this, Biden and the DC Swamp won’t know what hit them – the convoy is already 3,000 strong, and that’s without the reinforcements from the other groups who are planning to join.  This protest is gearing up to be something truly historic.

‘It’s Racism!’

Crying racism is the way you make sense of everything when you already know how to see everything.

Could it be any clearer that the mainstream media actively wants to divide the country and make us hate one another? How else to explain that they are constantly running stories like this at the top of their website front pages?

Outraged! Racism! Remove these officers from the force! Investigation! Apology!

But if you want to believe the headline, don’t watch the video. And if you do watch, be sure to keep the sound up so you can hear how you are supposed to understand it.

What do you see in the video, objectively? Two male teens fighting, and the fight being broken up by two police officers, who handle the chaos in a decisive way that has nothing demonstrable to do with any racial animus and that results in no physical harm, arrests, or charges to either teen.

But CNN is here, of course, to make sure you won’t see the video absent the correct underlying narrative. They want to help you penetrate below what your eyes see to what they think is really going on.

According to the narrator, it’s obvious that the white teen is the aggressor. This is the implied narrative: whites are always looking to violently attack blacks, who are always innocent and defensive victims of that aggression. But the video evidence is more complicated. The white teen points his finger at the black teen, but he does not touch him. The black teen is the one who first initiates physical contact by shoving the white teen’s hand aside. The white teen responds to this by pushing the black teen. The black teen is the first one to throw punches and, in this footage at least, he throws many more punches than the white teen does.

Who is the aggressor, then? Not clear how you’d easily determine that from this, though if by “aggressor” you mean “the one who initiated physical contact,” then your answer is not the one CNN gives. To get a better perspective, we would need to know more about what happened prior to the finger-pointing. CNN tells us the black teen claims he was protecting another kid from the white teen. Notably, CNN does not give us the white teen’s perspective. That is not an accidental omission. It is in keeping with the narrative.

The CNN narrator then says the white teen tackled the black teen and then threw him to the ground. What happened by the evidence in the video is that the black teen began to throw punches after the white teen’s shove and the latter closed the distance between them to take away the black teen’s punching ability, driving him backward into the couch. Then both wound up falling to the floor. As they were getting up to continue the fight, the black teen lost his balance and fell.

As to the police stoppage of the fight, the narrative of endless racist violence against blacks shapes the CNN account entirely, when more obvious explanations fit the video evidence and common sense better. How much of the difference in how the two teens were taken under control is accounted for by the fact that one officer here is male and one female, and the female is the one who treated the participant in the brawl she had to deal with less aggressively—though notably only after her male partner had physically separated the fighters by shoving them apart? Males are more aggressive than females, and that includes male police officers.

It is not clear from the video if the black teen struggled at all with the officer, and perhaps the officer used more force than needed to subdue him. It would be invaluable to hear the accounts of the officers involved to get more insight into how things happened. There is no obvious reason, though, to imagine that the officers made the decision only to handcuff one because of his race. Are we to believe that the male officer made the split-second decision that he was going to leave the white teen to his female partner because he wanted a chance to tackle the black teen? If their physical positions had been reversed and the black teen had been closer to the female officer and thus easier for the male officer to push in her direction, I would not feel at all confident betting the white teen, left to the male officer, wouldn’t have gotten the handcuff treatment, especially if he resisted.

The question of unnecessary escalation by police is a legitimate one in some settings. But the matter is contextual. What else do officers know about the scene in which this is taking place? Have other mall fights in that area in the recent past involved weapons? Did those reporting to police suggest the fight was more serious than it was? We don’t know any of that, and we would need to hear from the police to learn it. But the narrative says police are always racist and blacks are always innocent victims of police racism.

CNN does not give us the perspective of police or the white teen, but they sprint right over to the local NAACP for their insights. In their analysis, the white teen was comfortably shown a seat by police. It is clear in the video that, after the fighters were thrown apart by the male officer, the white teen fell back onto the couch purely because of his position relative to it, and the female officer ascertained quickly that he was pacified and turned to help her colleague with the other teen. The NAACP perspective is useless if your effort is to understand. But the narrative is never about understanding. It’s about making reality fit the preconceived conception.

Here’s something I do feel safe betting on: if, when more facts come in, the narrative presented by CNN turns out looking more questionable than it already does after an objective look at the video, there will be no correction of the record. They will just rely on the public to forget the case and then eagerly move on to the next thing they can bend and twist to the narrative.

X22, On the Fringe, and more-Feb 28

Evening. Here's tonight's news:

The Crowded Road to Kyiv ~ VDH

To retain our deterrence abroad, we must tighten our belts at home, pump oil and gas, start to balance our budget, junk wokeism as a nihilist indulgence, and recalibrate our military.

One of the oddest commentaries about the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the boilerplate reaction that “borders can’t change in modern Europe” or “this does not happen in the 21st century.”

But why in the world should the 21st century be exempt from the pathologies of the past 20 centuries? Are we smarter than the Romans? More innovative than Florentines? Do we have more savvy leaders than Lincoln or Churchill? Are they more mellifluous than Demosthenes? Does anyone now remember that some 130,000 were slaughtered just 30 years ago in the former Yugoslavia, as NATO planes bombed Belgrade and nuclear America and Russia almost squared off?

Has globalization, the “rules-based order,” the Davos reset elite, the “international community” so improved the very way humans think that they have rendered obsolete the now ossified ancient idea of deterrence? Will the Kardashians and Beyoncé tweet our pathway to global peace?

How about transnational NGOs? NATO? WHO? The UN? Are all their recent records of service proof of our more exalted modern morality? Will some new engineered Wuhan virus alter human nature, end its innate ancient pathologies, and so eliminate war as we knew it? Are we not the League of Nations because Putin is now chair of the Security Council?

In truth, anything can happen to anyone, anywhere,  at any time—and has and will until the end of time.

So let us walk down the crowded road to Kiev.

The Russian Agenda

Putin feels that Russia was once a great player (defined mostly as “feared”) in world affairs. But now it—i.e., he— is not. He thinks if he can grab back some of the old Soviet Union’s now lost 100 million people and 30 percent of its territory, then his Russia would again become a superpower—especially given the natural wealth of his former Soviet republics.

He knows that the longer some of these republics are Westernized and become acculturated to the passions of popular culture, the more difficult it will be to coerce them into becoming Russian subordinates. So Putin feels a sense of urgency that in the past was not always his conniving trademark—but now perhaps accentuated by his age or health. UN Security Council Chair Putin’s pique at his supposed wounds is endless given his incessant citations of NATO bombing on kindred Serbia, the 2004 orange revolution, or the 2008 Ukrainian coup.

He feels we are decadent, soft, pampered—to the point of not replying to his provocations. So, he presses. In his Stalinesque mind, we purportedly do not deserve the power and influence we supposedly inherited at his expense, while his Russia, he boasts, is tough, religious, and deserves far more from the modern age than its current diminished status. Like Stalin, he has developed a visceral dislike of sermonizing Western elites, none of whom he thinks can box, judo kick, fish, shoot, or ride bare-chested at his level.

So, to the degree Putin believes in a cost-to-benefit analysis that any envisioned invasion will prove profitable, he will invade anywhere he feels the odds favor his agenda. And when he does not—if America or NATO offers a deterrent, if oil is plentiful and cheap, and if Western leaders are sober and strong rather than loud and weak—he will not so gamble. It’s really that simple. Feed Putin a hand, and he will gobble a torso.

Will Ukraine Survive?

In theory, Ukraine should not last, given the numerical odds against it. Mysteriously it almost seems unprepared for a massive invasion. Its roads are apparently not blocked and mined. Putin has been massing troops since November, so why did not NATO flood the country with weapons in late 2021 to ensure endless supplies of anti-tank and anti-plane missiles?

Still, the Russians may, we hope, have a hard time of it in Ukraine—if for no other reason than the country is larger than Iraq in both size and population. It has lots of supply conduits across the borders with four NATO countries that can finally begin pouring in weaponry. An invader that cannot stop resupply from third-party neighbors can rarely subdue its target.

So if in a week Putin cannot shock and awe the elite or decapitate the government, he will have a hard time subduing the population. Time is not on his side. Sanctions are worthless in the short term but eventually they can bite.

His tripartite semi-circular attack on Ukraine is uncannily similar to Hitler’s 1939 invasion of Poland from East Prussia, Germany, and the dismembered Czechoslovakia. But even Hitler who was helped later by the invasion of the Soviet Union from the east, lost 50,000 dead and wounded from a poorly equipped Polish army.

Fossil Fuels

Gas and oil, and thus who tried to curtail both, explain a lot of the current mess. The nihilist Biden decision voluntarily to cancel new pipelines, federal leases, ANWAR, and leverage loss of bank financing for fracking, and to give up well over 2 million barrels of daily production will be seen not just as an economic disaster. It was a strategic catastrophe.

When Europe, or indeed the West, is dependent on Russian goodwill to drive and keep warm, it can never be free. Ending American energy independence is not just an AOC obsession. Russian hackers in January targeted our Colonial pipeline, shutting down in a day over 1 million barrels of transported oil. The more we discount the strategic consequences of having or lacking oil, the more our enemies fixate on it.

A couple of questions for Joe Biden: Before he took office, was the United States begging Russia to sell it more oil? After he took office, why was it?

Why did Biden blow-up energy dependence? Could not tomorrow Biden reverse course, greenlight the Keystone pipeline, reverse his mindless opposition to the EastMed pipeline that would help allies Cyprus, Greece, and Israel to help other allies in southern Europe, and throw open new federal leasing to supply exports of liquid natural gas to Europe?

What is moral, and what amoral: alienating Bernie Sanders and the squad or keeping our allies and ourselves safe from foreign attack? What is so ethical about following the green advice of billionaires like global jet-setter John Kerry at the expense of the middling classes who cannot afford to drive their cars or warm their living rooms?

A Deterrent Military?

Factor in the Afghanistan humiliation, the walk away from $80 billion in arms and equipment, a $1 billion Kabul embassy, a multimillion-dollar refit of Bagram Airbase, the woke politicization of the Pentagon, the McCarthyite hunt inside the ranks for white rage/supremacy, the inane rantings of retired admirals and generals, the revolving door of four-stars to defense contractor boards—and in just three years, the military lost a half-century of American public support.

All this and more have eroded the global fear of the U.S. military. We have all but destroyed American trust in our own armed forces (only 45 percent of the Americans poll great confidence in the military). The woke threat is in addition to spiraling pensions and social justice overhead that make the defense budget lean on actual defense readiness. Enemies did not erode our military’s once feared deterrence, our own top military and civilian leadership did. Time is short, enemies numerous. Can we find any brave soul who will restore the military?

American Goliath?

America may be woke. It may feel it has transcended dirty fossil fuels and can thrive on wind, solar, and batteries. It may assume it is morally superior, and like 19th-century pith-helmeted British foreign officers, can sermonize to the world, from pride flags and George Floyd murals in Kabul to no need for security in Benghazi.

But we also are mired in $30 trillion in debt. We print $2 trillion a year in mockery of inflation. Our major cities are crime-ridden and the streets medieval with the homeless and sidewalk sewers. Race relations are the worst in memory.

We have no southern border. Nearly 50 million residents were not born in our country—and this challenge at a time when we have given up on assimilation and integration. The woke virus has warped racial and ethnic relations and is destroying the idea of meritocracy. We are in the hold of a Jacobin madness, in a top-down elite race to perdition. To praise America’s past is a thought crime. The ignorant, who have no idea of the date when the Civil War began, nonetheless lecture to the nodding that 1619 not 1776 was America’s real foundational date.

In short, the America of even 1990 no longer exists. To retain our deterrence abroad, we must tighten our belts at home, pump oil and gas, start to balance our budget, junk wokeism as a nihilist indulgence, and recalibrate our military.

NATO

NATO is now a mere construct. It was birthed and exists to do three things in Europe: keep America in, Germany down, and Russia out. Now Germany is up. America is out. And Russia is in.

The vast majority of the alliance’s members followed Germany’s anti-American prompt to renege on promises to spend a mere 2 percent of their budgets on military readiness. How strange that only thousands of deaths in Ukraine can soon persuade the arrogant German leadership that their own performance-art pacifism kills.

NATO’s richest and second largest member, Germany, polls a desire to become closer to Russia than to the United States. Does that mean they favor Putin’s invasion rather than NATO’s resistance? Sixty percent of Germans poll no desire to honor NATO’s Article Five clause of mutual assistance, and thus would not wish to aid a fellow member in extremis

Germany, on its way to green Lalaland, ignored all warnings about conducting a $1-billion-dollar per-day natural gas purchase from Putin. Think of the following absurdities: Germans no longer like Americans all that much. But they do expect them to subsidize their defense and to protect them from Russians, with whom in turn they are cementing lucrative energy deals. The latter will eventually make them dependent on Putin for 50 percent of their energy needs.

So what is NATO? In truth, 25 or so of the 30 nation members are defenseless. They rely on the United States to protect them from enemies in their own backyard. Only the NATO nuclear monopolies of Britain and France offer a deterrent umbrella over both NATO and the EU—on the quiet assurance that a far bigger nuclear American umbrella covers all of them.

We should simply ask those who will meet their promised military commitments to stay, and the others to go quietly in peace and follow the Swiss model. Why are there any U.S. combat troops in Germany? Are they there to protect the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russian attack? To reward Germany for spending less than two percent on defense?

China

For five years Americans were obsessed not just with Putin, but the left-wing myth that Russians were under all our beds—the tattooed, gap-toothed cruddy villains of Hollywood movies, the supposed Satanic colluders of the Steele dossier, the nefarious bankers who stealthily communicated at night with the White House. So we voluntarily gave up the old Russian triangulation card when we once played dictatorial China off against dictatorial Russia. The Kissingerian principle dictated that neither of the two should ever become closer to one another than either is to us. We gave all that up and instead hung on every word for two years of Bob Mueller, James Comey, and the lunatics at CNN.

Meanwhile, China birthed, and hid the origins of, a virus that destroyed the U.S. economy and undermined our entire culture. Thousands of Chinese are here mostly to aid in expropriating U.S. technical expertise. Add in the Uighurs and the now vanquished Tibet, and China outdoes even Putin in its human rights atrocities. If Ukraine falls, Taiwan will be the third nation that the West “lost” during the Biden Administration.

Leftwing Mania

On cue, an embarrassed Left now offers some surreal takes on why Putin went into Crimea and eastern Ukraine in 2014 and again into all of Ukraine in 2022—while mysteriously bookending the four invasion-free Trump years. We are told that hiatus was because Putin got all he wanted from Trump and rewarded him by not invading any of his neighbors.

Really?

Were Vladimir Putin and his advisors more or less delighted that their poodle Trump thankfully flooded the world with price-crashing oil? They were thankful Trump at least had killed Russian mercenaries in Syria?

Putin himself was content that the United States got out of his own advantageous missile deal? Was he thrilled that Trump sold once taboo U.S. offensive weapons to Ukraine? Did the Kremlin grow ecstatic when Trump upped the U.S. defense budget?  And was Russia especially thankful that Trump jawboned NATO into spending another $100 billion on defense? Did Putin clap when Trump killed Soleimani and Baghdadi, and bombed ISIS out of existence?

We are left being lectured to now by the ubiquitous retired Lt. Col Alexander Vindman, the political operative remonstrating America on its anemic response to saving his native Ukraine. All this from one of the key operatives of impeaching the one president who, unlike his progressive presidential predecessor, along with the Biden Burisma consortia, really did arm Ukraine and send it offensive weapons embargoed by the Left.

The useful Vindman may have been offered to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. But he never grasped that any country naïve enough to believe the Left’s empty promises about autonomy and freedom reified by mere liberal fiat will be sorely left all alone by its utopian patrons—once a nearby powerful thug invades.

Biden

Now we hear that midterm Biden has played the crisis wonderfully. The surreal progressive take on this crisis is that Winston Biden has corn-popped the “killer” Putin, metaphorically taken “the bully” behind the proverbial gym and given him a whomping, slammed his head on the global lunch counter, and in Biden’s deterrent fashion, called him a chump, one of the dregs, a junkie, fat, and a lying dog-faced pony soldier—and capped it all off with “You ain’t white!”

Joe threatened the toughest sanctions in history that on Wednesday would deter an invasion and by Saturday were never meant to at all. But Biden promises someday a “conversation” to decide whether at some time he still will issue the toughest sanctions in history. Until then, he invites Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy safe passage out of Kyiv—the quickest way to destroy the dogged Ukrainian resistance.

Left unsaid are the years of rapacious Biden family profiteering in Ukraine, a decade of leftist passive-aggressive love and hate of Russia, from obsequious reset to greedy Uranium One to pathetic “tell Vladimir . . .” to unhinged vetoing of sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

What a crowded road to Kyiv.

Col Douglas Macgregor Has a Slightly Different Take on Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Macgregor Makes Sense!

My spidey senses tell me that Col Douglas Macgregor will not be welcomed back on Fox News after he gave a rather different take on what is happening amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict that does not toe the common media line.  [SEGMENT HERE] Jennifer Griffin was furious.

The first presentation was during a segment with Fox Host Dan Bongino (below).   The second presentation of essentially the same analysis was with Trey Gowdy [SEGMENT HERE].  In both discussions Macgregor’s perspective reconciles the disparity between what the U.S. government, State Dept, and corporate media are saying -vs- what is visible.

Essentially, Macgregor is saying that Russia does not want to engage a civilian population and is making every effort to avoid civilian conflict in those population centers.  In part this is because Putin knows the Western approach is a propaganda war that would be fueled by what it would look like if population carnage took place. However, if Ukraine President Zelenskyy does not acquiesce to terms, Putin could easily crush those centers with artillery and rockets.  WATCH:

What Macgregor outlines would explain why these skirmishes always seem ‘off in the distance’.

The western government and media perspective is to make it seem like Volodymyr Zelenski and the rebellious civilian misfits are beating the Russian army because that frames a better story.  However, what Macgregor outlines is Putin not wanting to fuel the United Nations, NATO and State Dept narrative engineering, thus the absence of visible fighting.

The second segment with Trey Gowdy is HERE… and below:

Fox News Pentagon war seller Jennifer Griffin,
aka the female version of Mark Milley, was having fits.

The Left Abandoned Liberalism and Liberals

Progressive Democrats care only about power, money, and control.

In several countries around the world, the Liberal Party is actually that—liberal in the best sense of the word. They agree people should live free from government interference, intrusion, and overreach in their lives.

For instance, the UK’s Liberal Party “ . . . exists to create a liberal society, in which every citizen shall possess liberty, property and security, and none shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity. Its chief care is for the rights and opportunities of the individual, and in all spheres it sets freedom first.” In Australia, the Liberal Party stands for, “ . . . the inalienable rights and freedoms of all peoples;  . . . a lean government that minimises interference in our daily lives; and maximises individual and private sector initiative. . . . In those most basic freedoms of parliamentary democracy—the freedom of thought, worship, speech and association. . . .”

Democrats in the United States say they are liberal, but you can check out their meandering party platform here. There is nothing remotely liberal (see above) in this so-called platform. They have no solutions, only unimaginative rewards to buy votes from their constituents. The DNC site talks about recovering from the pandemic, building a “fairer” economy (whatever that is supposed to mean), reforming the criminal justice system, a laughable plank for “healing the soul of America,” environmental justice (eye roll), strengthening our democracy (even though we are a republic), a 21st century immigration system (which must mean letting everyone into the country who would like to come in unvetted and unvaccinated), providing a world-class education (apparently including critical race theory and normalizing gender dysphoria), and finally, renewing American leadership (led by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris).

Here in the United States and Canada, the word liberal has been perverted and taken over by the progressive Left, which is in no way liberal. In today’s America, Democrats are split into two groups, those on the progressive Left and classical liberal thinkers, who in today’s society have more in common with Republicans than they do with the progressives in their party, whether they choose to acknowledge that truth or not.

There is a huge difference between the Left and liberals. Liberals in the United States are free thinkers. They don’t conform to a certain way of thinking just because their party believes they should. They have humor and humanity. They find a debate with someone with different ideas entertaining and thought provoking. They can find common ground with people who don’t agree on everything. Liberals can laugh at their party and at themselves.

Joe Rogan, Tim Pool, Bill Maher, Marianne Williamson, Tulsi Gabbard, and even Dave Chappell are true liberals. They don’t try to impose their belief system upon other people. They would rather debate you. They are okay with losing the debate and will go at it with you again tomorrow. They have a sense of right and wrong. They make money by doing what they do, but they don’t sell out. They love this country and understand how great it is to be born here and enjoy what this country has to offer.

In exactly the opposite fashion, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and the squad are the progressive Left in America. They are authoritarian and they love control. These people don’t have a humorous bone in their bodies. Debate is not what they crave; capitulation to their will is. They will tell you they know best, and sometimes they actually believe it. Any opposition to their will is unacceptable. Rather than self-determination for citizens, they will instruct you on the best way to live. They will take any money or power they can get from any corner of the world, no matter how nefarious—as long as it enables their fight for power.

This miserable pandemic has been disastrous for nearly everyone except perhaps pharmaceutical companies and their investors. It has also exposed the Left’s leaders for who they truly are, completely the opposite of the liberals in their own party. Thanks to the progressive Left’s fascist tendencies during the China Virus plague, many of those liberals have begun to recognize the differences. Rather than side with parents and children, the Left sided with unions and school boards. Rather than side with the once applauded healthcare workers and first responders, the Left sided with those who made and imposed private healthcare decisions without the consent of those workers. Freedom loving truck convoys in Canada protesting government overreach were somehow a fringe “white “movement; although, despite repeating it over and over, even the progressive Left knew that wasn’t true.

Free speech has been silenced if it doesn’t conform with the party line. Conservatives and liberals alike have been canceled and banned from certain platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. GoFundMe decides what causes are worthy and which ones are not, and although Black Lives Matter is deemed a worthy cause, apparently freedom loving Canadians are not.

More and more liberals are awakening to the monumental shift in their party, once a “love, peace, and freedom” party that has now become everything they said they despised. The Biden Administration and its disastrous policies have helped them see the truth as well. As the progressive Left senses this change of attitude within what once was a united vote within their party, they will become more and more desperate and cling more and more to control. Power, control, and money is what they are after. Not humor. Not debate. And darn sure not freedom.

CNN Ukraine War Correspondent Admits Producers Scour Social Media for Content to Broadcast

CNN ‘War Correspondent’ Clarissa Ward accidentally explained why the public is confused about what the corporate media are saying about the Ukraine war with Russia, compared to what is actually visible about the Ukraine war with Russia.

During a segment with Brian Stelter, Ms Ward explained how CNN war corresponding in Ukraine consists of talking about material provided to her by CNN production crews who sit and scour through YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and social media posts to find the input material for their stories.

Clarissa Ward didn’t mean to expose how the propaganda of modern warfare is created, but she did.

Ward was thanking the people in the background of CNN who search social media for their Ukraine content; however, in talking about what they do, she affirmed what we already knew was taking place.

People wondering why there is no visible ‘fight’ in this war, now find the baseline which Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh was talking about last week.  The State Department, intelligence community and political participants in the U.S. government are constructing the “war” against Vladimir Putin through the prism of social likeability as a cultural weapon.

When the goal is to produce content that tells the “better story,” social media becomes the battlefield.  War corresponding is reduced to using the corporate media platform to enhance the social media battlefield.  Essentially you might call this “World War Reddit.”

The CNN war correspondent doesn’t even need to be in Ukraine, except for the fact they need some form of geographical context to create the credibility.  The actual content of Ukraine material for the broadcast can just as easily be assembled in New York, California or mom’s basement in Illinois.

The social media content extracted by CNN workers, stationed anywhere, is then transmitted to the network producers who assemble the material, and a “war correspondent’ puts on a helmet and appears live on camera in Ukraine to discuss it.

This is modern journalism, aka propaganda creation, aka narrative engineering, and why there’s a lack of actual evidence for anything being attributed to the narrative surrounding the war between Ukraine and Russia.  WATCH:
