Evidence supports Sidney Powell’s claim about global election fraud

Evidence supports Sidney Powell’s claim about global election fraud

For the last two weeks, Sidney Powell was telling everyone that she could prove that our election was decided abroad by bad actors. Tuesday’s news seemed to confirm those claims. A retired military analyst testified in Arizona that the U.S. has captured the information that was sent overseas. Also, a November 25 declaration from an active duty military analyst was made public today, which says that, within five days of the election, the analyst was able to connect dominonvotingsystems.com, which is Dominion’s proprietary URL, to Belgrade, Iran, China – and Barack Obama.

I’ve been enjoying a delightful email conversation with Nick Chase, who’s written some deservedly lauded articles helping readers to understand how the voting machines could be used to send victory to Joe Biden. (See here, here, here, here, and here.) One of the things Nick explained to me is how information travels across the internet. I’m going to share his words with you because you’ll need them to understand how important this next bit of news is:

On the Internet, information is delivered in "packets" of bytes, each of which has header information identifying the sender and the intended recipient. When the recipient receives the packet, it verifies the packet and returns to the sender a message saying the packet was received correctly. This traffic passes through “routers” which are similar to the wireless router you might have at home, only on an industrial scale. The network routers also have switching software to determine which is the “most efficient” (fastest) route on the Internet to transmit the packets, as the Internet is a redundant system designed with many routers, paths and switches so it will continue to operate in case part of it goes down.

It’s entirely possible for a sophisticated, powerful agency to grab or reroute this packet traffic so that the data can be manipulated. With that in mind, you’ll appreciate the import of testimony that Colonel Phil Waldron (retired) gave during the hearing in Arizona about the voting machines used in the U.S. elections. As you recall, while the votes were collected in America, they were sent to Frankfurt, Germany, for final tallying and processing before being rerouted to America. According to Colonel Waldron, his “white hat” hackers recognized the packets going to Germany and obtained copies of them:

We shouldn't be surprised that Col. Waldron offers such extraordinary evidence. Last week, in Pennsylvania, Col. Waldron gave a master's class in how the Dominion voting systems are set up to enable election fraud on a massive scale. He talked about fraudulent elections in other countries, voting machines being connected to the internet making them hackable, stolen USB drives used for hacking voting machines, and inexplicable anomalies that showed that votes were preloaded for Biden before the election began.

Today, Col. Waldron’s testimony gained added heft when we got to see a declaration from an intelligence analyst at the 305th Military Intelligence Unit (“the Kraken” unit). The declaration has specific evidence showing that, on November 8, 2020,  Dominionvotingsystems.com, which is Dominion Voting System’s proprietary URL, was connected over the internet to Belgrade, Iran, China – and to “the Indivisible (formerly ACORN) political group for Obama.”

In the spirit of complete honesty, the declaration is almost completely unintelligible to me. All I know is that I find disturbing that dominionvotingsystems.com is connected to two of our geopolitical foes and to Obama’s political interest group.

Oh, and did I mention that it looks as if the Chinese government has an ownership interest in Dominion? You can check out Gateway Pundit for details that seem legitimate. You’re not imagining it that China keeps popping up all over 2020, first by giving us the gift of a virus that the Democrats used to try to destroy the economy and to pervert the election, and now as an active player in America’s vote counting.

I sure hope that Trump, who is being remarkably silent right now, is planning to reveal all in the coming week. Alternatively, if he’s unable for security reasons to reveal what’s happening, I hope he’s able to explain to the Supreme Court and the various state and federal legislators what really happened and why Biden truly didn’t win.

Daily Beast Editor Calls For "Humiliation" And "Incarceration" For Trump Supporters

authored by Jonathan Turley

We have been discussing the rising threats against Trump supporters, lawyers, and officials in recent weeks from Democratic members are calling for blacklists to the Lincoln Project leading a a national effort to harass and abuse any lawyers representing the Republican party or President Trump. Others are calling for banning those “complicit” from college campuses while still others are demanding a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” to “hold Trump and his enablers accountable for the crimes they have committed.”

Now, Daily Beast editor-at-large Rick Wilson has added his own call for “humiliation,” “incarceration” and even ritualistic suicides for Trump supporters in an unhinged, vulgar column. Wilson declared “[o]nly exposure, pain, humiliation, and (inshallah) incarceration will lead to a moment of reckoning for the GOP.”

Not surprisingly, Wilson is a key advisor to the Lincoln Project which was blocked recently on Twitter for abusive doxxing efforts directed at Republican lawyers.  His column captures the level of hateful rhetoric fueled by the Lincoln Project, which is funded by thousands of lawyers despite its attacks on fellow members of the bar for their representation.

“Remember, the Trump GOP is shorn of all ideological and philosophical pretense, and even when Trump leaves office, it’s not over. ‘His cultists’ reign of terror will shape elected GOP members as long as he and his foul spawn walk the earth unpunished. Only exposure, pain, humiliation, and (inshallah) incarceration will lead to a moment of reckoning for the GOP. It should start at the top and work down from there.”

Wilson notes that he is not interested in the “reconciliation” part of “truth and reconciliation,” declaring a “hearty f— no” to people calling for reconciliation. Inside he called for the “motherf—ers” to consider “seppuku.”

Just as I recently criticized Trump counsel Joe diGenova for his rhetoric about drawing and quartering Chris Krebs, I will assume that Wilson is not seriously calling for ritualistic suicides.  However, he is clearly calling for retaliation against Trump supporters as the Lincoln Project has carried out in its campaign.

Others like Elie Mystal, The Nation’s justice correspondent, have called for a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” to investigate “[a]ll of these moral and ethical failures … and that’s before we get into the actual statutory crimes potentially committed by Trump, his administration, his enablers, and his family.”

The call for a commission to establish the truth of past controversies is ironic given Mystal’s abuse of teenager Nicholas Sandmann.  We previously discussed the case and the example of one such segment involving “Above the Law” writer Joe Patrice in his interview with Mystal, where he attacked this 16 year old boy as a racist.  Patrice agreed with Mystal’s objections to Sandmann wearing his “racist [MAGA] hat.” They also objected to Sandmann doing interviews trying to defend himself with Mystal deriding how this “17-year-old kid makes the George Zimmerman defense for why he was allowed to deny access to a person of color.” Putting aside the fact that Sandmann was not denying “access to a person of color,”  Mystal and Patrice were comparing this high school student to a man who was accused of murdering an unarmed African American kid and even assailing his effort to clear his name as the media continued to label him a racist. Mystal continued to slam Sandmann in postings on “Above the Law.”  In one such posting, Mystal derided Sandmann for filing for defamation. Various media outfits later apologized or settled with Sandmann for their false reporting.

What is most striking about these views is how disconnected they are to the actual election.

Instead a “blue wave” and the widely predicted Democratic takeover of both houses, Republicans picked up a sizable number of seats in the House where Democrats have been reduced to the thinnest margin since World War II. The Republicans may retain the Senate and won handily in many state races across the country. Roughly 74 million people voted for Trump. I was not one of them, but that is roughly half of this nation. Yet, these writers continue to write as if the nation is now unified in rejecting the policies and priorities of the Trump Administration. It is the distortive effect of existing entirely in siloed media spaces where an alternative reality can be maintained and fostered.

My greatest concern is how the media remain detached not only from roughly half of the country but from reality. It has decided that it will cater to literally one half of the country and foster openly biased narratives of what is still unfolding in this country. As I previously discussed, the loss is considerable since the public now has a deep and widening distrust for the media.  The result is that our media is no longer viewed as a place for citizens to resolve questions over things like contested elections. There is only rage where reason once prevailed.

Despite Science, Fauci And de Blasio Kept Schools Closed To Hurt Trump

The nation was held hostage to a Biden win, and the education of our kids is still held hostage to the interests of teachers's unions. It's got to end.

American school children have been volleyed like ping pong balls since the start of the pandemic. The first indications that a serious plague was heading our way came in the form of hugely terrifying death projections. Those turned out to be false.

Then, it wasn’t long before it also became apparent that kids were not “super-spreaders,” yet Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases — and national darling — recommended in March that schools shut their doors. Now, along with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, he’s changed his tune, and they now both act like they always held their current views on the essential nature of education.

Setting the Record Straight

On March 16, only a week after de Blasio worked out at his gym and said coronavirus was no big deal, New York City public schools closed their doors to 1.1 million students. In a matter of days, many private schools switched to fully remote learning. Public schools, however, did not. By mid-April, remote learning was sort of happening, but for many kids who did not have access to broadband internet or the requisite devices, remote learning turned out to be no education at all.

De Blasio went quickly from claiming the coronavirus shouldn’t stop people from eating out to begging that the very economic engines of the city be shut down. By April 12, Fauci “gave his blessing“ to de Blasio to keep NYC schools shuttered for the remainder of the school year. When Florida Gov. Ron Ron DeSantis wanted schools to stay open, Fauci balked, stating, “If you have a situation where you don’t have a real good control over an outbreak and you allow children together, they will likely get infected.”

As teachers’s unions negotiated with local governments as to how remote learning would operate, teachers in the Seattle area said because there was inequity in tech accessibility, there should be no remote learning at all. The Los Angeles teachers’s union made demands about school reopening that had nothing to do with COVID-19 but were about social justice curriculum changes and the closing down of charter schools. And the schools remained closed.

We got word from Europe, which was hit hard and shut down before the United States did, that kids were not spreading the virus the way adults were. By late May, the United Nations reported that while some 1.5 billion students worldwide were out of school, 22 European countries were opening up classrooms to bring kids back to school. Among those nations, there were no school-based spikes in cases.

Dr. Scott Atlas, then part of the Trump administration’s COVID-19 task force, said in June that the science showed those under 18 “have little risk whatsoever from this virus” and that it was “obvious” that schools should be open. By summertime in Europe, there were concerns, but still, no school-based case increases. Trump was roundly derided for saying “In Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and many other countries, schools are open with no problems,” but it was still true.

Seeing the Light…Too Late

Mental health problems for young people deprived of education, social life, and activities contributed to rising drug overdose deaths among young people. By August, the CDC released figures that said young people were considering suicide at troublingly high rates. By September, Fauci was still saying schools needed to stay closed and De Blasio pushed opening day back to Sept. 21. Yet, by Nov. 18, per the CDC, only 123 people under 18 had died from the virus.

Even then, students could only attend in-person classes two days per week, and most of the city’s children would be at home. In New York, a school’s ability to remain open was negotiated with the teachers’s union, and it was agreed that if cases citywide hit three percent, schools would close. On Nov. 18, with less than 24 hours of notice, that exact scenario happened. Schools shut down and De Blasio said that even when the case count dropped to below three percent, schools would not automatically reopen.

When parents understandably freaked out, De Blasio took notice, and announced on Nov. 29 that schools were to reopen on Dec. 7. “We know that the health realities for the youngest kids are the most favorable,” de Blasio said.

This was a stark departure from his previous overwhelming concern, and he did not address the concerns of parents but instead touted his test and trace team, and the increased, mandatory, twice-weekly testing that would happen in all New York City schools.

Fauci, too, changed his tune, saying on Nov. 29 to “close the bars and keep the schools open, obviously you don’t have one size fits all … but the default position should be to try as best as possible within reason to keep the kids in school and to get them back in school.”

It’s clear now that what Fauci and de Blasio did was play politics with the education of America’s kids, who were held hostage to whimsy. Now, those who kept schools close now dare to say that they wanted schools open from the beginning?

Failing America’s Children

Teachers’s unions in California pushed for the school closures, and as they did so, they pushed for alternative educational institutions to be closed as well. There’s no reason for this. More than 98 percent of those under 50 survive the virus, children do not appear to spread the virus. This was true in May when the relevant data emerged from Europe.

Children are failing in schools, and other school systems, like New York, simply abandoned grading altogether. Allegedly, this was done to make sure kids didn’t lose out due to remote learning difficulties, but instead, it was done to hide the failures of the virtual learning models.

Were Fauci and de Blasio simply lying to the American people? Or were they just trying to make Trump look foolish? Trump wanted schools open, and he said so, but because “orange man bad,” media and politicians demanded that schools remain closed.

Instead of opening schools, Democrats terrorized parents into a state of quivering fear where they worried that kids and teachers would face wonton death if classes resumed in full. It was simply false, yet it was done to obstruct Trump and continue to write the narrative that he alone was to blame for the virus that originated in China.

The same party that has been touting the importance of education for decades upon decades forced a massive education inequity in this country, making it impossible for poor and middle-class kids to get properly educated.

It’s true, there’s nothing more important than educating our kids. Indeed, without being properly educated, they can be easily manipulated. And, while there are risks to the left-leaning curriculum, those are things that can be addressed. What is most damaging to the future of the country will be kids who can’t read, can’t do math, and cannot think clearly because they simply don’t know how. By depriving them of education while letting them fall into endless screens and idleness, we are poisoning our kids. For this, our nation will pay the price.

Schools were closed to stick it to Trump, and now that Biden has secured the win, schools are beginning to open. The nation was held hostage to a Biden win, and the education of our kids is still being held hostage to union interests. It’s time for parents to fight back and demand that reading, writing, and arithmetic take precedence over fear, ignorance, and vengeance.

The Hunter Biden Laptop Is Real And So Is The Corruption It Lays Bare

On October 19, 2020, a group of fifty former “intelligence officers” signed on to a letter branding the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop as having all the hallmarks of “Russian disinformation.” The letter was carefully caveated, no doubt out of necessity because otherwise many of the signatories would not have agreed to put their names on the document. Nonetheless, predictably enough, the mass media operating in support of Joe Biden’s campaign for President boiled down the letter to sound bites.

“The Hunter Biden laptop story is a hoax. This is a smear campaign. It is all a lie. Ignore it and vote the way we told you to.”

To my knowledge, none of the fifty individuals who signed the letter in question has seen the contents of Hunter’s laptop. I have. I have had unfettered access to it for days and continue to do so.

Here is my take.

There is no question that the material on the hard drive I have reviewed belongs to Hunter Biden. It is filled with emails, documents, text messages, and images that cover a span of many years. All of these have the associated metadata. Most of the emails are to known individuals with known email accounts. Anyone who has ever done even a cursory forensic examination of a laptop seized from a terrorist safe house or taken from a hostile intelligence officer would not believe for a second that all of this information could somehow be fabricated. Any attempt to do so would be detected in almost no time once the laptop was put under review.

As noted above, what is on the hard drive is not a few emails. It is the entire contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop containing data compiled over years.

The stench of corruption coming off the contents of the laptop is overwhelming. Leaving aside the pornographic nature of many of the images stored on the device, what the documents, emails, and other items show is a mass of shell companies and business dealings. The cast of characters on the American side consists largely of what I will call “princelings,” young, wealthy men whose only claim to fame is having a wealthy, prominent father. Chief amongst these, of course, is Hunter Biden.

All of these transactions ultimately have the same feel. Someone somewhere is paying Hunter Biden and his associates very large sums of money in exchange for influence. Factories are not built. Products are not bought and sold. Hunter and his henchmen bring to the table one thing – connections, and principal amongst these is Joe Biden himself.

This went on for years. The amount of money involved ran into the billions of dollars.

The business dealings in question took place in many countries, including some in South America that to date have hardly been mentioned. From a national security perspective, the most troubling are those that involved China. There, Hunter cut a wide swath. Many of the key figures in his business are senior members of the Chinese Communist Party. Some are known or suspect Chinese intelligence officers. There is no doubt that Hunter knew full well with whom he was dealing.

Is there a document signed by Joe Biden on the laptop saying he was formally agreeing to be an agent of Chinese intelligence and to do the bidding of Beijing? No. Not to my knowledge, although a full review of the laptop’s contents will likely take many more months.

As the signatories of the letter reference above know full well, however, that is not how all this works. Such a document would never be created. Instead, the target, in this case, Joe Biden, would be suborned over a long period of time, compromised, bought in bits and pieces, until he was reliably doing the bidding of his new puppet masters in Beijing.

Chinese United Front operations are well known. Among other things they involve sustained, well-financed operations to coop the elites of foreign nations and bend them to their will. The contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop paint a detailed picture of just how such an operation works and how wildly successful it can be. Exploiting Hunter’s own obvious personal demons and the evident desire of the Bidens to cash in big on Joe’s position as Vice-President, the Chinese, in particular, seem to have bought themselves invaluable influence. They may have forked over billions. What they got in return, like the entire South China Sea, seems to have been worth infinitely more.

Ultimately, every American is going to have to make up their own minds regarding which candidate they want in the White House. I won’t pretend to be able to make that decision for them. I can tell them this. The laptop is real and so is the corruption it lays bare.

How Trump Gets Justice for Election Irregularities

If the Election Day shenanigans amount to a clear subversion of the results, Trump has a path to a remedy through the state legislatures of the relevant states.

Just nonsense,” CNN quoted an anonymous former senior U.S. intelligence official responding to Donald Trump’s “baseless” allegation that Obama had candidate Trump’s “wires tapped” during the 2016 presidential campaign. A more careful look at the CNN article revealed hints of the truth peeking through from behind the carefully worded denials.

Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for Obama “denied” Trump’s allegation, stating, “no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice . . . neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen.”

Now we know that the Department of Justice was indeed surveilling the Trump campaign with the knowledge of President Obama. Did Obama ever “order” it? Probably not in so many words. But the substance of what Trump said in that fateful March 2017 tweet was true.

Trump gets things wrong. He exaggerates. He makes mistakes. But it’s wrong to characterize him as an out-and-out liar. When you unwrap his sometimes inartful declarations, you usually find a kernel of nuanced truth behind the bombast. Nobody cares when Biden lies because the lies follow the tide of the elite’s approved narrative. Trump is hated precisely because he sometimes correctly challenges official “truths.” He upsets the doublespeak and says the quiet part out loud.

Because of that history, I’m hesitant to dismiss his election fraud claims. And we’re seeing some familiar parsing by the mainstream media.

“There’s no voter fraud,” has been amended to “there’s no widespread voter fraud.” So should we all accept non-widespread fraud, whatever that means? I’ll leave it to other authors to inventory and assess the mosaic of statistical anomalies and anecdotal irregularities. Maybe these are just the product of wishful thinking by a sore loser. Our tech overlords, who so vigorously censor and undermine the pinpricks of election doubts, might be right. But if Trump is right, does he still have a path to victory in the 2020 election?

Let’s start with the assumption that the state legislatures of four or five states become convinced that voting irregularities have so compromised the true outcome of the popular vote that it cannot be determined using the rules established by the legislature. This could take the form of an assessment of outright fraud. But it could also mean election officials commingled so many illegal votes into the final tally that the real outcome can no longer be reconstructed after a thousand recounts.

In many of these states, courts and election officials changed ballot eligibility rules without the permission of their legislatures. As noted by the Wall Street Journal, “Democrats and their allies have been bringing [hundreds of] cases for months, many aimed at giving voters more flexibility in submitting ballots by mail during the pandemic—and counteracting what they say are Republican efforts to limit voting rights.”

But it’s not up to courts to change voting rules. The Constitution gives state legislatures the right to direct the manner in which electors will be chosen in their states. In the 1892 case of McPherson v. Blacker, the Supreme Court ruled,

The constitution does not provide that the appointment of electors shall be by popular vote, nor that the electors shall be voted for upon a general ticket, nor that the majority of those who exercise the elective franchise can alone choose the electors. It recognizes that the people act through their representatives in the legislature, and leaves it to the legislature exclusively to define the method of effecting the object.

In 2000, the Supreme Court cited the McPherson precedent noting that, “the state legislature’s power to select the manner for appointing electors is plenary,” and that, “it may, if it so chooses, select the electors itself.” The word, “plenary,” means, “full, complete, covering all matters.” This suggests that the state governor would not have the authority to veto direct action by the legislature directly picking the electors and setting aside the tainted results of a popular election.

The 2020 Supreme Court appears eager to have the state legislatures take the lead on resolving challenges to the final vote count. In July, the justices ruled, “Nothing in the Constitution expressly prohibits States from taking away presidential electors’ voting discretion.” The ruling concerned a state law that imposed a $1,000 fine on “faithless electors,” i.e. electors who did not vote for the candidate who won the popular vote in the state. While it did not strictly approve an after-the-fact intervention by the legislature, the precedent can certainly be read to permit that approach.

Thus, the real audience for these fraud and irregularity allegations are the legislatures of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. Ignore Attorney General Wiliam Barr. From his perch in Washington D.C., he can’t possibly assess state election shenanigans as well as the state itself. Ignore the media. Stop trying to follow the whack-a-mole patchwork of post-election court cases. A state legislature, not a federal court, is in the best position to craft a remedy to widespread fraud or irregularities.

If such irregularities were sufficient to have subverted the state legislature’s right to establish the manner of picking the electors, then direct appointment is the only effective remedy to protect that constitutional role. This is consistent with federal law which provides, “Whenever any State has held an election for the purpose of choosing electors, and has failed to make a choice on the day prescribed by law, the electors may be appointed on a subsequent day in such a manner as the legislature of such State may direct.”

Without that failsafe remedy, courts and election officials can simply ignore legislated election procedures. Further, state legislatures are accountable to voters and have the democratic authority that courts lack. Trump will have won nothing by convincing a rogue federal judge to award Electoral College votes against the will of a state’s legislature.

Voiding popular election results in an individual state is an extreme remedy that might not hold up in the absence of convincing evidence of irregularity sufficient to invalidate the popular vote within the state. Absent a state legislature’s vote to set aside a compromised result, I do not foresee the U.S. Supreme Court ruling to change the results.

Republicans control the legislatures in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin. The obscure members of these state houses will soon come under intense pressure by the Left to stay out of the election litigation.

If, as Tucker Carlson complained, Sidney Powell and Rudy Giulliani can’t back-up their allegations of sweeping election fraud or irregularities, we can reasonably anticipate that Trump’s path through the court system will reach a dead end and Biden will be president in January. But if the Election Day shenanigans amount to a clear subversion of the results, Trump has a path to a remedy through the state legislatures of the relevant states.

Tearing America Down Won't Build Your Life — Work Will

Article by Ben Stein in Newsmax

Tearing America Down Won't Build Your Life — Work Will

I'm fascinated by the life I led for about a month in Sandpoint, Idaho, this past summer and by what life is like in Southern California where I live most of the time.

Basically, what keeps rushing through my mind is how incredibly great life is in this country if you work. Yes, I know I get to live a charmed life.

But I worked for it and so did my parents.

I wish I could explain that to the politicians and commentators and complainers on TV.

My family has had a charmed life and I know it.

But the charm was work.

My grandfather was a 16-year-old from Detroit.

His father had disappeared, leaving the family to fend for themselves. Grandpa did that by stealing his older brother’s birth certificate that made him out to be 18. He used that to join the U.S. Army and enlisted in the cavalry. He learned to shoot a rifle from a moving horse or a slower donkey. He was sent to the Philippines to fight the Aguinaldo uprising of the native people against the Americans.

It was dangerous combat in the jungles.

But he did it and then came home and worked as a production-line tool and die maker at Ford Motor in Dearborn, Michigan, and then at General Electric in Schenectady, New York.

I imagine that as a thin Jewish boy in the Army in the early 1900s, he was the object of a great deal of anti-Semitism, but he never complained about it.

Instead, he worked very hard and sent money home.

His wife worked as a clerk at a small department store in Schenectady.

This turned out to be the salvation of the Stein family because my grandfather was laid off at GE when the Great Depression hit.

He worked at various odd jobs all through the horrible economic climate of the Depression.

He worked whenever he possibly could.

Nothing was beneath his dignity if it helped support his family.

My father left home at 15 to enter Williams College, probably the best small college in America. He worked as a dishwasher at a fraternity that did not allow Jews as members.

He entered every oratorical or writing contest he could to try to win $50 or $100. He went on to be the chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers, served on the board of many corporations, and became a famous economist and commentator.

He never stopped working. He was working in the hospital as he was dying of heart disease, with needles and tubes coming in and out of him. I have a notebook of his thoughts about 1999 Treasury plans to redeem long-term bonds and replace them with short-term bonds.

That notebook, not a computer, was, and still is, stained with his blood from where the tubes were not properly inserted into his body. Now, to be sure, my father was born with a super brain. But he was also born with the work gene.

To him, a man or woman was what he or she did with his or her brain.

In that vein, he selected a woman, a genius named Marina von Neumann Whitman to be the first woman member of the Council of Economic Advisers.

My mother was also a hard worker, but mostly in politics as a Republican Party publicist, operative, and helper in every campaign she could find in Maryland.

She also taught elementary school children in the inner city of Washington, D.C.

She would cry when she talked about how hard her students struggled to learn to read.

She later paid out of her own pocket for some of them to go to Howard University, and she was not a wealthy woman. My father was the author of a famous saying that explains much of life.

"If something cannot go on forever, it will stop." We might think of this when we hear the gloom and doom on the TV and the internet.

It’s called "Stein’s Law."

I have tried to carry on this legacy of hard work and helping those less fortunate than I am.

I have not even come close to the achievements of my pop.

But I have observed that with the rarest exceptions, such as a pandemic, my life gets measurably better the harder I work.

Protest marches don’t do it.

Carrying signs does not do it.

Setting fires does not do it.

Stealing does not do it.

Getting high does not do it.

Tearing down statues does not do it.

Claiming to be a morally superior person does not do it.

Work does it.

That’s what built America.

That’s what will build your life. I promise you.
