The Obama-Trump Transition Was More Like Sedition

Barack Obama and Joe Biden may have given a public impression of the peaceful transfer of power, but they were working behind the scenes to sabotage the incoming president.

Bipartisan calls for President Trump to concede the election and work with Joe Biden’s transition team grow louder each day. In a joint op-ed, Andrew Card and John Podesta last week urged the president to start handing over the keys to the White House.

“[F]or the good of our country, and with the rest of the world watching, America needs to come together and start a smooth and peaceful transition of power,” the pair wrote for the Washington Post. “[A] delayed transition and the absence of cooperation between the outgoing and incoming administrations could hinder economic recovery, slow the distribution of a vaccine and, God forbid, put American lives at risk.”

The bipartisan Beltway ruling class measuring the Oval Office drapes for Biden now has summoned its biggest gun for backup: Barack Obama.

Right on cue and per his habit, the 44th president is on the scene to torch an already-smoldering body politic. Obama began his media book tour this month—timed undoubtedly to coincide with a volatile post-election period—and he is hard at work antagonizing his biggest political foe. (The first volume of his two-volume memoir, A Promised Land, is 768 pages long.)

In an interview with CBS News’ Gayle King over the weekend, Obama bragged about his handling of the transition between his White House and Donald Trump. “The peaceful transfer of power, the notion that any of us who attain an elected office…are servants of the people,” Obama explained with a straight face. “We’re not above the rules, we’re not above the law.”

The former president told a swooning Scott Pelley on “60 Minutes” that “there are a set of traditions that we have followed in the peaceful transfer of power. The outgoing president congratulates the incoming president, instructs the government and the agencies to cooperate with the new government coming in.”

If those remarks don’t make your eyes roll all the way back in your head and prompt a loud guttural guffaw, nothing will. Between Election Day 2016 and Inauguration Day 2017, Barack Obama and Joe Biden may have given a public impression of the peaceful transfer of power, but they were working behind the scenes to sabotage the incoming president and his team. Obama, on his way out the door, set in motion four straight years of internal insurrection.

It was sedition, not transition.

At the very moment Barack Obama welcomed Trump to the Oval Office on November 10, 2016 for a kumbaya photo op, his FBI was spying on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, and by extension, Donald Trump. Barack Obama’s FBI, under the corrupt leadership of James Comey, used fabricated political opposition research to convince a secret court that Page was a Russian agent and had conspired with the Russians to rig the election. Comey and Sally Yates, Obama’s deputy attorney general, signed the initial FISA warrant on October 21, 2016.

Comey’s FBI also was investigating three other Trump associates including his former campaign manager and Lt. General Michael Flynn, the incoming national security advisor.

After Trump won, Obama continued to stoke the fantasy that Trump’s election was illegitimate due to Russia’s “attack” on our democracy. On December 9, 2016, Obama amplified the farce by instructing his intelligence community to conduct a “full investigation” into the 2016 election.

A mere 20 days later, the review was complete; on December 29, 2016, Obama announced a series of weak retaliatory measures against the Kremlin. The so-called intelligence community assessment, authored by then-CIA Director John Brennan, was issued on January 6, 2017, exactly two weeks before Trump’s inauguration. The document claimed, without evidence, that Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered an “influence campaign” to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump win.

On the same day the intelligence community report was released, Obama’s FBI director and director of national intelligence met with Trump in New York City. Comey, citing what he later called “unverified and salacious” accusations contained in the Steele dossier, warned President-elect Trump on January 6, 2017 that the Russians might have a recording of prostitutes urinating in front of him in a Moscow hotel room—the so-called “pee tape”—that could give the Kremlin “leverage” over the new president.

But that weasel move wasn’t an instance of Comey going rogue; during an Oval Office meeting the day before, Comey told his boss that he was planning to ambush Trump with the unproven allegation. (Joe Biden also attended the infamous January 5, 2017 briefing.) Comey later bragged that Obama “moved his eyes up and down like a Groucho Marx thing” in approval.

A top Obama official then leaked details about the classified briefing to CNN.

“Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump,” CNN reported January 10, 2017. “One high level administration official told CNN, ‘I have a sense the outgoing administration and intelligence community is setting down the pieces so this must be investigated seriously and run down.’”

The Trump-Russia collusion hoax—concocted by Obama and his allies, promoted by the Trump-hating news media—officially was born; the pretext for the appointment of a special counsel, which happened four months later, was planted.

The hits kept coming. On January 12, David Ignatius reported on Flynn’s classified phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak. (Leaking classified government information is a felony.) Flynn, Ignatius suggested, might have violated the never-regarded Logan Act if he “undercut” U.S. sanctions against Moscow. Ignatius’ bombshell ignited another crisis for Trump’s transition team, already under full-blown siege from the phony collusion narrative.

Peaceful transition, my foot.

Obama lackeys engaged in other subversive tactics as they cleaned out their desks. Top White House officials, including Biden and Obama’s chief of staff, made several requests to unmask Trump aides caught up in surveillance. Clapper testified on January 5, 2017 to the Senate Armed Services committee, chaired by Trump’s arch enemy the late John McCain, that it was unclear whether Russian “hacking” changed any votes in the election. Clapper’s comments, however, were intended to imply that they had.

The first renewal of the FISA warrant on Carter Page was signed by Comey and Yates on January 12, 2017; the most powerful government tools designed to catch foreign terrorists were still being used against Team Trump as Trump prepared to run the country.

In many ways, a transition of power from a Democratic president to a Republican president never happened. Democratic Party apparatchiks still rule the administrative state; they’ve attempted to thwart President Trump at every turn.

As Lee Smith noted, Obama is the first president since Woodrow Wilson to remain in Washington D.C. after his term ended. Obama’s operation against Trump began before the election, accelerated during the transition period, and continues to this day.

Joe Biden doesn’t need a formal “transition” back to power. His people still run Washington, D.C.; Biden’s BFF, Barack Obama, made sure of it.

Just Like U.S. Democrats, Chinese Communists Are Compiling Dissident Lists

Article by Helen Raleigh in The Federalist

Just Like U.S. Democrats, Chinese Communists Are Compiling Dissident Lists

I never thought that my adopted home, the land of the free, would so soon start sounding like the one-party dictatorial state I left behind.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is reportedly in the process of creating a global blacklist of critics who have supported or funded the freedom and democracy movement in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The list specifically targets those who reside outside mainland China. The scale of the project might be massive because, in Taiwan alone, at least 6 million people support Taiwan’s independence, which is a punishable crime in the eyes of the CCP.

The Global Times, one of the CCP’s mouthpieces, promises such a blacklist is no “empty threat” but “a sword of Damocles” hanging over these critics’ heads “for a long time to come.” Anyone on this list “will no longer be able to set foot in Hong Kong, Macao, and the Chinese mainland, and it will also be very dangerous for them to travel to other countries and regions.” In fact, the blacklist will serve as a life sentence for CCP critics because they “will be held accountable for the rest of their lives under the laws, which means they cannot find a permanent shield for their crime, with the nightmare of being punished chasing them their whole life.”

No one should be surprised by this ruthless language, the existence of such a blacklist, and the CCP’s determination to crush every dissenting voice no matter where it is. After all, the CCP’s very own history, since its founding in 1921, has been written in blood by numerous purges of opposition. What is new today is that China’s economic and military power have so emboldened the CCP that the regime is willing to interfere with other nations’ legal and political systems to hunt down critics outside its borders.

Just over the weekend, Uyghur religious scholar Hemdullah Abduweli, who traveled from Turkey to Saudi Arabia, was arrested by Saudi police at Beijing’s request. He will now likely be deported back to China.

China’s Aggression Reaches the United States

Here in the United States, Chinese dissidents face constant harassment by Chinese agents. The Wall Street Journal reported that the Chinese government has been sending undercover security agents to the United States to station outside the homes of those it deems “criminal,” ready to “escort” them back to China. Both the FBI and the Department of Justice have publicly warned Beijing to stop these aggressive tactics.

In October, the U.S. government charged eight people, including Chinese and U.S. citizens, for helping the CCP illegally target so-called Chinese fugitives. The news of the CCP’s global blacklist is the latest proof that the CCP has no intention of backing down and will only intensify its effort to crush dissent worldwide.

People like me who criticize the CCP and call out its human rights violations understand that doing so might endanger us and our families. Yet we continue to speak out because it is the right thing to do, and we firmly believe the Chinese people have an inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness like all other people do.

It should surprise no one that critics of the CCP support President Donald Trump. His administration is the first in the United States since the 1970s to confront the CCP head-on, whether about the South China Sea, human rights violations in Xinjiang and Hong Kong, the trade imbalance, years of technology theft, or covert political influence campaigns planted by the CCP within the United States.

According to Vox, “Trump’s seeming willingness to confront China resonated with some Vietnamese American voters who recall the country’s imperialist efforts in Vietnam. For a segment of Chinese Americans and Filipino Americans, this same message also struck a chord.” Exit polls show Trump won 34 percent of the Asian-American vote, more than Mitt Romney’s 29 percent in 2012 and John McCain’s 26 percent in 2008.

While we are prepared to put ourselves in harm’s way for standing up to the CCP, what we didn’t expect is that our support for Trump would bring us post-election retribution from the totalitarian left in the United States.

The Left Wants to ‘Deprogram’ Trump Supporters

Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., former presidential candidate Evan McMullin, and other leftists all called for blacklisting anyone who supported Trump. Former staffers for President Barack Obama and presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg answered this call to action by creating the so-called Trump Accountability Project, which blacklists anyone who worked for, donated to, or endorsed Trump and his administration.

The purpose of such a list, explained by the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin in a tweet and interview with MSNBC, is to make sure Trump supporters will “never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society.” The Republican Party must be “collectively burned down” with “no survivors,” she said. Otherwise, anyone who survived the purge will “do it again,” meaning we will vote for people and policies with which Rubin and the totalitarian left disagree. Does any of this coldblooded language and the vow to crush any dissent sound as if they came straight out of the CCP’s playbook?

Apparently, creating a blacklist doesn’t go far enough for some Democrats. David Atkins, a California Democrat and an “elected DNC member,” calls for “deprogramming” all 75 million Trump voters because he thinks all of us belong to a “conspiracy theory-fueled belligerent death cult.”

“No seriously…how *do* you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook?” Atkins asked. “We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.” With crazy talk like this and no social consequences for it, is it only a matter of time before Democrats propose to build communist-style re-education camps to deradicalize 75 million Trump supporters, similar to the CCP’s internment camps for Uyghur Muslims?

Today’s Radical Left Mirrors Communist China

It is very clear that there’s less and less ideological difference between the totalitarian left in this country and the CCP. When both groups were in the process of obtaining power, they shouted slogans of “democracy,” “equality,” “freedom,” and “tolerance.” Once they are in a position of power, however, they reveal their true colors.

Both have little tolerance for different ideas and people who hold them. Freedom to them means having a free hand to reprimand those with whom they disagree by whatever means necessary. Democracy to them means if they all agree to punish dissenters, the punishment is thus legitimate and justified. Whether in China or the United States, totalitarianism is always about power, the power to force people to think and behave a certain way, the power to brand those who disagree as enemies of the state and deprive them of their rights and property.

I never thought that my adopted home, the land of the free, a place Abraham Lincoln called “the last best hope of earth,” would so soon start sounding like the one-party dictatorial state I left behind. My name is probably on both the CCP’s blacklist and the American totalitarian left’s. I consider that a badge of honor. It means I must have done something right, and I know I’m in good company.

They've Failed to Deliver: Rush Limbaugh Turns on Trump Legal Team

They've Failed to Deliver: Rush Limbaugh Turns on Trump Legal Team

Look, folks, I’m a good soldier, but can we at least agree that those who are quarterbacking the Trump legal effort regarding the 2020 voting irregularities has been a total disaster. Sidney Powell did a remarkable job exposing the deep state plot against Michael Flynn, including an avalanche of exculpatory evidence. Now, with the 2020 election, however, it’s gone off the hinges. The Trump White House has distanced itself from her—and what about these bombshells?  They promised new evidence. It has yet to be revealed—and even folks like Rush Limbaugh are noting this all looks terrible. What is going on? The clock has pretty much ran out here—and we’ve got nothing new (via Daily Caller):

Radio host Rush Limbaugh criticized President Donald Trump’s legal team, saying during his Monday broadcast that they had failed to deliver on promised “blockbuster stuff.”

Limbaugh argued that last week’s press conference, throughout which he had praised attorney Sidney Powell for “dropping bombs all over the place,” had ultimately failed to deliver anything useful.

[…]

“You call a gigantic press conference like that, one that lasts an hour. And you announce massive bombshells, then you better have some bombshells, there better be something at that press conference other than what we got,” he explained.

Limbaugh went on to say that a witness — even one whose identity was disguised — would have gone a long way toward bolstering the claims made by the president’s team.

“But you don’t — you can’t — I talked to so many people who were blown away by it, by the very nature of the press conference,” Limbaugh continued. “They promised blockbuster stuff, and then nothing happened. And that’s just, that’s not — well, it’s not good.

I mean, look, I will never believe that Biden won fair and square, but a judge isn’t just going to toss out ballots. That’s a high bar—it should be. And the Trump team apparently has not done well in convincing judges otherwise. This game is rapidly coming to a close. Now, as to the lack of evidence, well, there are issues there as well—but time is running out and so far, one could argue the legal front has been quite shoddy.

'Too bad there are so few honest reporters left'

Article by Frank Miele of Real Clear Politics in "World News Net" Services

'Too bad there are so few honest reporters left'

(My subtitle to that: "Too bad there are NO honest reporters left")

Easy question: Is it illegal to steal an election or not?

You would have to assume that it is no big deal based on the response to claims of widespread fraud in the contest between President Trump and Joe Biden. Big Media says the evidence just doesn’t exist, and most Americans seem to be lost in a blue haze of blind acceptance that whatever they are told by the talking heads on TV must be true.

This kind of unthinking obedience to authority is a frightening harbinger of an America that is no longer a nation of laws, but rather a nation of edicts. You can already see that unfolding in the sheep-like acceptance of COVID-19 restrictions that blatantly ignore the Constitution. But if you dare do your own independent assessment of facts -- whether regarding the efficacy of mask use in preventing spread of coronavirus or regarding the security of electronic voting -- you will quickly come to a different conclusion than that which is approved by Big Tech, Big Media and Big Money.

Unfortunately, most people don’t take the time to do their own research. They simply believe whatever is told to them. For those in thrall to the establishment media, that means they believe that Trump’s allegations of election fraud are “baseless.” Remember, the media made that declaration within hours of the election, long before any evidence had been presented in a court of law and before analysis had begun on the raw vote totals. Once that narrative was established, it didn’t matter how many affidavits were presented, how many witnesses came forward, or how much analysis suggested that the vote count may have been manipulated. The jury of the American people had already been tainted by Big Media to believe the narrative that Trump is a sore loser.

Don’t forget, the mainstream media -- in the interests of public enlightenment (now known as wokeness) -- have spent the past four years reporting as fact that the duly elected president of the United States is a liar, a tax cheat, a Russian puppet, and a racist. In other words, he is a con man who never should have been anywhere near the Oval Office in the first place. So why would anyone now believe his claims that Democrats used phony mail ballots, vote-counting software and foreign manipulation to steal the election? Most of the media is pretending that there is not even a real story to report in what, if true, would be one of the gravest constitutional crises in the history of our republic.

As Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said in his press conference Thursday, “The coverage of this has been almost as dishonest as the scheme itself. The American people are entitled to know this,” he warned the press. “You don’t have a right to keep it from them. You don’t have a right to lie about it.”

But, the newsrooms at CNN and MSNBC are keeping it from the public. They refused to even carry Giuliani’s press conference laying out the evidence of election fraud. As for Fox News, they covered it, and then put a reporter on the air to say the claims were “simply not true” or “baseless.” Clearly, we are not going to get the truth from the media. Has there been even one reporter for a mainstream outlet such as the Washington Post asking questions about the vulnerability of electronic voting systems to hacking or manipulation? Is any news organization demanding that the Justice Department or FBI get to the bottom of the story?

The loss of a free and neutral press means that democracy cannot work even if its elections were completely above board. The capacity of the people to self-govern is dependent on their access to true and accurate information. Sadly, the opposite principle applies as well. When journalism abandons objectivity in favor of an agenda, then the people are in the position of cattle being led to slaughter.

Thomas Jefferson described the abuses of a free press in 1814 in a letter to his friend Walter Jones:

“I deplore … the putrid state into which our newspapers have passed and the malignity, the vulgarity and the mendacious spirit of those who write for them… These ordures are rapidly depraving the public taste and lessening its relish for sound food. As vehicles of information and a curb on our functionaries, they have rendered themselves useless by forfeiting all title to belief… This has, in a great degree, been produced by the violence and malignity of party spirit.”

Ouch! Take that, New York Times! Take that, CNN!

Of course, it is just such a malign “party spirit” that informs almost all mainstream journalism in the Age of Trump -- a spirit that is visible in the hostility towards Trump himself, but also in the accommodation towards Democrats such as Joe Biden. Last Monday’s Biden press conference was a stunning abdication of responsibility by the media for its much-vaunted role of “speaking truth to power” — or at least asking tough questions.

Three of the first four queries were merely anti-Trump questions asked in a new way. Instead of asking Trump “How do you justify your unprecedented attempt to obstruct and delay a smooth transfer of power?” the reporters merely asked Biden what he thought about Trump's “unprecedented attempt” blah blah blah. Then the next three questions were about COVID, which after six months of campaigning, even Sleepy Joe Biden could answer with his eyes closed.

Isn’t the media going to hold Biden accountable just like they claimed to hold Trump accountable? Why not ask about the curious patterns of vote counting in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia that make millions of people think Biden tried to steal the election? Shouldn’t he be asked to support a full investigation to prove his victory was legitimate? How about a question about whether Hunter Biden will come out of hiding now that the election is over? How about asking the “president-in-waiting” to condemn the BLM and antifa violence that sent several innocent Trump supporters to the hospital two weeks ago?

How about our celebrity journalists celebrate their own crucial role as defenders of democracy? If they don’t want to “render themselves useless,” they need to swear allegiance to facts, wherever they lead, and not to one party. Or as Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana put it more indelicately, “They have to be equal opportunity assholes.”

But they aren’t — and sooner or later the American people will get tired of being manipulated. Journalism is supposed to give an honest account of the facts so that people can make up their own minds what they believe to be true. Propaganda, on the other hand, is a dishonest attempt to persuade people not to examine the facts for themselves. Journalism starts with facts and allows people to reach their own conclusion. Propaganda starts with a conclusion and manipulates people into accepting it as fact. You can decide for yourself whether what we have today is journalism or propaganda.

But the bottom line is this: Whether or not Donald Trump can prove his case in court should be irrelevant to the job of the press. What honest reporters ought to recognize is the significance of the allegation itself, the historical nature of the crime being alleged, and the importance to the future of our republic that the case must be heard.

Too bad there are so few honest reporters left.

‘INFURIATING.’ Mickey White decimates traditional media in BRUTAL thread on why Americans can never trust any of them again

‘INFURIATING.’ Mickey White decimates traditional media in BRUTAL thread on why Americans can never trust any of them again

The media have spent the last four years trying to find a way to beat Trump. From screaming about his tweets to pushing a now-debunked Russia collusion narrative they have done everything possible to hurt the president and as such, his re-election chances. To be fair, this editor doesn’t know that any Republican could have withstood the coordinated hatred and vile sabotaging going on by a supposedly unbiased media.

They’ve proven themselves more activist than journalist.

Mickey White penned the perfect thread about how many Americans can never trust anything the media say, again:

BUT TRUMP SAID YOU SHOULD INJECT YOURSELF WITH BLEACH!

Remember that nugget?

Idiots are still claiming he said that so clearly the media did their job.

They wanted us hopeless, beaten, afraid, and alone. Human beings are never more easily influenced or controlled than when they are scared.

Yup.

They did indeed.

On that note though, without Trump to b*tch about 24/7, we’re not sure what the media will do for clicks and taps. Their readers won’t care about their slobbering all over Biden and Harris being the dream team articles … the hate clicks were what was keeping them going.

And now?

So let’s be honest, in the end, the media have done far more damage to themselves than Trump.

The media is complicit in the fraud we see today

Article by Christopher Ryan in The American Thinker

The media is complicit in the fraud we see today

The Founding Fathers always worried that American democracy – which was a grand experiment – could be corrupted from the inside. They were right to be worried. In the past four years, we’ve witnessed America’s enemies trying to rig democracy. Those efforts came to fruition with the recent election.

There are innumerable signs showing this rigging. Some of the most common signs come from the media, which ignore blatant evidence that justifies indicting, arresting, or, at minimum, questioning Democrat elected officials. The media’s been doing this all year, especially with regarding to Biden.

On November 15, 2020, Ukraine announced that Biden is wanted in that country on Class A felony charges. The former President, Vicktor Poroshenko, is on trial for corruption and treason. We know Joe Biden’s role in this because he boasted about it. There are also taped conversations in which Biden discusses using American money in a way that would end up protecting his son.

Ukrainians actually refer to our senate Democrats as Democorruptionists.  That’s right.  A country we often add the qualifier “corrupt” to thinks we are a joke. Think of this: Vice President Biden concocted a scheme where he would perform certain favors with taxpayer money for a personal benefit. Ukrainian investigators have traced the transfers of millions of dollars from Ukraine to the Biden family.

The American media completely ignore Joe Biden’s role in this scheme. Vicktor Poroshenko is looking at life in prison and the media has anointed Joe Biden as the American President – and it is Ukraine with the corruption problem?  The media choosing sides breeds corruption.

The media, with help from the tech giants, has also hidden past election fraud. For example, famed attorney Lin Wood says that the voter fraud scheme in 2020 got trial runs in 2016 and 2018. However, Google and YouTube make it almost impossible to find links to information about either fraud or Lin Wood’s statement. These entities are setting and driving the narrative.

In September, Russia Today summarized a report explaining exactly how the Democrats intended the election to play out. Hawkfish, the Bloomberg funded data analytics firm, prepared a report prior to the election for Democrats that told them that Trump would have an enormous lead at the end of the night.

This landslide would be the most one-sided result since George HW Bush dispatched Michael Dukakis by 426 votes to 111 in 1988. However, according to Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn, it would be a “red mirage.”

In the days after, a steady trickle of mail-in ballots would swing the vote back in Biden’s favor, and could see the Democrat win by 333-204, according to one modeling prediction. A victory for Biden in this scenario would take nearly a week, with 15 percent of mail-in ballots counted every day.

Trump understood the implications:

Wake up, America! Our democracy has been attacked.  Joe Biden should have never been this close to the levers of power in this country.

Democrats who have not participated in this corruption must step forward now and add bi-partisan condemnation to this attack upon our country.  The media’s choice to hide Biden’s conduct with Ukraine was a direct attempt to thwart the will of the people.  Those responsible need to be brought to justice. For much for the world, America is an example, and it needs to lead the way.

With everything coming to a head on November 3rd through 4th – the successful selling of a corrupt former Vice President, combined with a rigged election -- all top Democrats should be scrutinized. Whoever receives Intelligence briefings needs to be closely scrutinized. Once Americans understand the seriousness of this, Democrats need to cooperate with investigations immediately.

What’s happening in America is too big to ignore accidentally and Americans know that. Instead, the media is actively ignoring it. The billionaire class through media & tech censorship has weaponized information against the American people. It is no exaggeration to claim CNN is the propaganda arm for this operation.  Those at the heads of the news organizations are in on this attempt to thwart the will of the American people.

The gig is up but you can still see those blindly spewing the propaganda against their own citizens. These people should never be trusted again.

This large-scale, national fraud is why the Founders decided that the popular vote does not elect the President. They gave to state legislatures, which most closely represent the will of the people in a given state, the ultimate responsibility for choosing electors. These legislatures need to be encouraged to step up and defend our democracy.

73 million people can be a formidable group

Article by John Watson in The American Thinker

73 million people can be a formidable group

While the number may be even higher when the smoke clears, we know that at least 73 million people voted for President Trump’s re-election. We also know this is an honest number. Regardless of the outcome of the fraud challenges, these 73 million people need to think about what they can do.

There are those in the Republican Party who opposed Trump all along, the self-styled #NeverTrumpers. Despite the president’s enormous successes, these still oppose anything Trump. Sadly, their hatred for one man was stronger than their love for their country. They just don’t see the writing on the wall that a healthy portion of America, Republicans and even some Democrats, was fed up with do-nothing politicians. They wanted someone who would fight for them and push back against the Left and the Deep State. That man was Donald Trump.

The Republican Party has something of a dilemma on its hands. To survive and fight for America the way President Trump has done, the party will have to change. Either the #NeverTrumpers need to leave the party, or the 73 million Trump supporters will. If we, as I am in that latter group, leave and form a new party, be it the American Party or whatever, I submit that a lot more people who have identified as Democrats would join us, given that the Democrat Party has been hijacked by radical leftists. A recent Rasmussen poll showed that approximately one-third of Democrats believe the election was stolen from Trump. No one likes cheaters. There are more than enough good people who still love America for such a new party to be a success.

What can 73 million people do? We now know that the big tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and the like are supportive of the Left. If a good portion of these 73 million people simply got off Facebook and Twitter and stopped buying from Amazon, the impact would be huge.

Similarly, it is obvious that the so-called MSM essentially elected Joe Biden by hiding the Hunter Biden stories that show corruption if not bribery in the Biden family. Recent polls have shown that many Democrats said that, had they known about Hunter Biden and Joe’s corrupt dealings, they would never have voted for Biden. This number is large enough to have denied Biden a victory or would at least have required even more cheating.

It’s time to end their power. Trump and his supporters should establish news outlets that report all the news, and totally abandon network news, leftist newspapers, and cable news.

The same goes for Hollywood, the NBA, the NFL, and any other entity that tries to tell us how to think. Close accounts with those financial institutions who say they will not finance or do business with anyone in the firearms industry. Don’t deal with companies who cave to the PC crowd.

Yes, 73 million people can be a formidable group. The enthusiasm is there. Let's harnesses their power for the good of the nation.

Why The Left Can Be So Ridiculously Self-Righteous Without Realizing It

What we saw in the lead up to the elections, and what we’ll witness for years to come, is utter contempt for Trump voters and conservatives in general.

American satirist Ambrose Bierce defined the presidency as “the greased pig in the field game of American politics.” If ever there was a year in which that is true, surely it is 2020. Most of us, in one way or another, have looked about as foolish and flummoxed as participants in a country pig scramble.

Yet if I were to offer a vote for most absurd, it would be those who indulged in sanctimonious screeds about the supposed threat of totalitarianism posed by four more years of the incumbent greased pig champion. Renowned linguist and leftist Noam Chomsky told The New Yorker in late October that Donald Trump is the “worst criminal in human history.” The worst. This is hyperbole worthy of “The Donald” himself.

Forget about Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, or Whitey Bulger, brutal murderers in American history. Forget about Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, and the rest of the dictators responsible for millions of deaths in the last century. No, supposedly, Trump’s unparalleled criminality is all there in the unreleased tax returns.

Or, how about the Boston Globe columnist who claimed on Oct. 31 that Trump supporters were equivalent to the Islamic State? Yes, the same ISIS responsible for systematic rape, genocidal murder, and forced conversions of Christians and Yazidis to Islam. The same ISIS that crucified Christians, violently tried to re-establish an Islamic Caliphate, and inspired deadly terrorist attacks from the Philippines to Orlando, Florida. But, you know, Trump has been accused of sexual assault, and he says lots of mean things. Same difference, right?

Also guilty of hyperbolic sanctimony are all the people who appeared on our Facebook feeds in the days leading up to the November election explaining that they don’t normally post political stuff, but this year is different because our very democracy is at risk. If we didn’t vote for the Democrats, they warned, we had exposed our stupidity, evil, and embrace of authoritarianism. This, of course, ignores the fact that Trump and the GOP are subject to the same democratic processes as every previous ruling party in American history.

I expect, also, that we’re supposed to overlook the fact that liberal mainstream media and pollsters told us for months that the GOP would suffer a resounding repudiation of their alleged authoritarianism (whoops). We are also obliged to forget that our democracy was supposedly very much at risk in 2016 when we last voted in a presidential election. If four years of Trump was supposed to usher in a fascist dictatorial state, he certainly screwed that up.

What we witnessed in the lead up to the elections, and what we will continue to witness for years to come, is unadulterated disdain and contempt for Trump voters and conservatives in general. Lefttist media and the technocratic elite who run the dominant institutions of our culture push a narrative of America in which conservatives are racist, sexist, authoritarian ignoramuses, while liberals are noble, virtuous, and intellectually superior citizen-scholars.

Now, granted, there are sexist, racist, and stupid crazies who self-identify with the right. Such behavior is disgusting and should be unreservedly rejected. And I despise the acrimonious spirit that has taken hold on both left and right.

The vilification of conservatives, however, has become worryingly mainstream. The people who express the most outlandish opprobrium for conservatives do not exist in the dark recesses of the Internet — they are journalists, lawyers, educators, government bureaucrats, and many other technocratic professionals.

Perhaps this sanctimonious self-righteousness explains the fact that Trump received more votes than he did in 2016. Americans don’t appreciate condescension, especially from people who have access to financial and professional networks that have largely shielded them from the worst economic effects of COVID lockdowns and quarantine. Nor do Americans appreciate folks who wax eloquently about human dignity and rights while endorsing the murdering of American children in the womb.

Willingly, I grant conservatives are just as prone to hypocrisy as liberals. Yet there is at least one important difference. Conservatives more willingly acknowledge that they are hypocrites. As most conservatives are religious, or at least more sympathetic to Judeo-Christian beliefs, they understand that man is fallen and inherently sinful. Also, as most conservatives acknowledge we are all sinners, they are less inclined to inflated views of themselves.

This matters more than one might think. Conservatives who acknowledge their own failings do not look to society or government to forgive them and give their lives purpose. No, it is God who forgives and restores. It is transcendent truths that give meaning and inspiration. Our saviors will not come from this world, and certainly not from public opinion or public institutions.

Not so, we are learning, is it for adherents of the left’s woke ideology. For them is an endless cycle of self-recrimination for conscious and unconscious phobias and fragilities that must be forever unearthed and confessed (although never absolved).

As writers like Rod Dreher and Ryszard Legutko note, the boundary lines for what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable behavior are constantly shifting. The result is a self-destructive victim culture that requires ever-new oppressors and power structures to discredit and dismantle.

Perhaps it is adherence to leftist ideology that explains this hyperbolic sanctimony and public pontification. The increasingly compulsory worldview on the left is now aggressively Manichean — one is either on board with the tenets of wokeism, or a bigoted homophobe to be canceled.

To burnish their ideological credentials, leftists must publicly declare allegiance to the new creed and chastise conservative backwardness. The former can find comfort, albeit briefly, in this virtue-signaling. Indeed, I’m ever-amazed how people are commended for their “bravery” and “insight” on social media for communicating the tritest anti-Trump tropes.

Yet one need not scratch deeply to perceive the fear that is present in such self-righteous acts. The leftist mob is fickle, and ever-eager for new statues to topple, new systems to deconstruct, and new enemies to discredit. In this brave new world, we are all one step away from being canceled for alleged bigotry, white privilege, heteronormativity, or some new disorder concocted by our pseudo-intellectual academic elites.

A hypocrite, says Ambrose Bierce, is “one who, professing virtues that he does not respect, secures the advantage of seeming to be what he despises.” In this rupturing America, we should all reflect on who, exactly, is that hypocrite.
