A Cautionary Note to Antifa and BLM Thugs Contemplating “Civil War”

“Civil war” has been a term much in use by both the Left and the Right these days. Try a web search on “civil war in America 2020,” and the result is dozens/hundreds of links to commentators speculating about the “coming war between Left and Right and who will ignite the spark” (and a lot of other related themes). The Left claim that “white supremacist and white nationalist militias” will get things started, and the legacy media have produced dozens of articles “investigating” militias and propagating that false narrative. One of the latest investigative reports on Oath Keepers and militias along those lines was published in the November issue of The Atlantic. It conveys the leftwing view of militias: crazy, fringe, gun-toting elements itching to start a civil war, and whom polite society should shun (and then disarm at the very least).

Funny how no “right-wing militia” has been responsible for the unchecked violence in Democrat-run cities and states over the past nine months. How many militia types have looted and set fires to businesses, obstructed public safety, illegally trespassed on private property, trashed public streets, and attacked video journalists and others? That would be the province of the left-wingers associated with Antifa and Black Lives Matter, not the militia movement. And as Twitter personality Rising Serpent reminds us, conservatives and Trump supporters (or, “right-wingers,” as the Democrat-media complex refers to us) don’t riot or commit acts of violence, with the most recent example being yesterday’s march of Trump supporters in Washington, DC:

 

 One could further argue that the Antifa/BLM rioting to date has been merely a dress rehearsal and practicing of unit-level tactics in preparation for the “real deal,” as their advocates have been announcing on social media in the run-up to the election. Here is what Newsweek reported on 20 October about “200 protests already planned.” The likelihood that those people have dispersed given the current state of the contested election is exceedingly low. In fact, they came out with a vengeance just last night in Washington, DC, to attack Trump supporters.

 

 

 What will happen when President Trump is certified the winner after the massive electronic voter fraud by Dominion Systems et al has been fully exposed? I find this short video instructive toward that end, as it focuses on the emotions of people that are being exploited – especially in the Left – and how a civil war or insurrection might start. Control the narrative; control the people. That is what the legacy media have been doing since “declaring” Joe Biden the winner despite the lack of certification by states that would give him the necessary 270 Electoral College votes to win. This video is a primer on how a “civil war” could be initiated:

 

I maintain that the militia movement is completely different than the caricature that the legacy media have made it out to be. Except for truly fringe elements in tiny numbers that are massively exaggerated by the Democrat-media complex, they are NOT “white supremacists and Nazis” but rather are well-disciplined and well-trained patriots who love and respect the Constitution and our Republic, and who are not about to let the Left destroy everything dear to them. Many are veterans and current or former law enforcement officers, too. Others are simply concerned citizens, avid hunters, and normal Americans who are aghast at the lawlessness displayed in America’s cities this past year by Antifa and BLM hoodlums.

To elaborate further on the militia movement, as well as to provide a cautionary note to those on the Left planning violent insurrection in the US, I asked a pal to weigh in on his thoughts and direct experiences with American militias. He is former Army special forces and a former CIA operative/contractor who has fought on the ground in insurgencies all over the world throughout his career. He is in and around the militia movement and knows a LOT of people therein, as well as their motivations, training, experience, etc. Here is what the man known to a select few as “Spear One” had to say:

The American civil militia movement is the largest and best trained para-military force in the history of the world. The elements of which militias are compromised are as follows (Note: None of the below includes the small numbers of White Supremacist or Racist Groups.):

Veterans. There are large numbers of veterans that have learned of war, and especially unconventional war, during our long years pretending to fight the insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan (referred to as “Afghaniraq”). Their skills learned in the formal training and in operations and their informal (unconventional) training at the hands of the enemy (that operate from the manuals and training supplied to Iran, pre-Islamic Republic, by both the U.S. Army Special Forces and the CIA). These vets have labored through the worse run combat operations America has ever fostered due to poor leadership micro-managed directly from Washington (US political leadership is more attuned to the bleating of the Washington Post then the needs of their troops or the requirements that must be met to win any kind of war). This poor leadership was adversely amplified by Rules of Engagement that negated any possibility to win, or even break even, in counter-insurgency warfare. These vets, between repeated rotations back to Afghaniraq spent their time taking care of each other (as the military did not understand their needs or would spend precious budget on soldier “life-cycle” systems support to little effect. These vets are literally chomping at the bit to tear into an obvious enemy of the US, namely, the socialists and anyone simple-minded enough to carry the socialist banner. Add in NO ROE and learned practices by terminal control of the target populations as taught by the Iranian-led Iraqi and Afghan insurgents. During their time between deployments, these troops were buying 4-Wheel-Drive vehicles, world class sniper rifles, world class combat pistols and world class (semi-automatic) military quality light rifles – and practicing maintenance, marksmanship, and putting aside fairly large amounts of ammunition (close at hand at this moment).

Large numbers of retired Special Operations Forces (or those with expired terms of service) that are prepared and trained to organize and lead Civil Militia forces. Add to the veterans core the large numbers of talented folks who are combat engineers who are not only trained and experienced at building and fixing, but are inventive and talented at breaking anything placed in their way. One does not need explosives to conduct demolitions – heavy construction equipment, fire and good ol’ 7.62 ammo are better than adequate to destroy anything that needs “interdiction” to support the goals of a counter-insurgency. These folks are organizing right now, and many are in lock-step with their local sheriff’s office and nearby active military units. Let us not forget those special operations personnel that matriculated into the Intelligence Community. All of their skills lying dormant while in the military were exercised while with the IC. These folks know how to deal with anything the government dishes out.

The National Guard. I am out of touch with that element but my experience in the past and limited contact now (Intel and Special Forces Guard and Reserve units) indicates that many, if not most, Guard units will “go over” to the militia once such militia stands up after the leftists start their insurrection. Reserve units would simply dissipate as their more effective members also head to the militia. Consider the possibility that these guys go over WITH their equipment. To explain: the feds show up with armored vehicles; the “new” Guard shows up with Bradley IFV’s and M1A1 Abrams tanks. And having drawn the accessory equipment and ammo time after time for training purposes, these guys know where to go to gear up. And even if without ammo, both vehicles trump police vehicles and provide good platforms to fight from utilizing small arms.

NOTE – the Intel and planning elements included above far outstrip that of the federal government in any given locale. and soon after standing up a non-electronic communications system would link all large formations in a way that totally negates the ability of modern monitoring, In fact, they will use government monitoring to run fakes and lure government elements into traps. Yes – these guys know that armed couriers rule, and that internet, cell and telephonic commo is for fools or baiting the enemy.

The active duty military. This subject is staged. First of all, realize that even if the military stays disengaged there will be yuuge AWOL numbers as the most dedicated patriots in the military head home to join their fathers, uncles, brothers and friends in the militia. Second – once (if) deployed against civilians, that AWOL rate doubles the first week – now taking their equipment with them.  Third – as seen in the past in Third World countries – there is the reality that at the unit level, the national headquarters (Pentagon) is not in charge. A rebellion at the O-4 and down levels would see serious large armed elements going over – with equipment – prepared to do what has to be done. The combat vets on active duty are known for fully understanding the “defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic” portion of their oath, and I have witnessed many of them stating that this is the “One Oath to Rule Them All”.  (This the view of this ground-pounding spec ops vet.)

Civilians. Although mostly not prior service, there are MILLIONS of civilians who feel strongly about the country and are prepared to stand up at the moment it makes sense to do so. Large numbers of these folks own a good hunting rifle that is the equivalent of any but the most specialized military sniper rifle.  Since 2008, these folks have also been purchasing military quality rifles and combat pistols. Civil training schools that specialize in close quarters combat training (often touted as “self-defense training”) have opened in all but the New England states. Many of these training organizations are quite large and staffed by prior military and LEO types, and most are fully booked all year long (okay, they close down for Christmas). This able and available civil force can fairly easily be absorbed into the above active and veteran militia after the Left initiates their insurgent actions. Also understand that there are untold billions of rounds of ammunition on hand with reloading of battlefield components a real resource. Speaking of ammunition – battle field recovery is well understood, and one must know that the trunk of every official LEO vehicle is a treasure trove of support items to include firearms and ammunition. There is enough ammunition on hand already to eradicate all known leftist/socialist threats and their add-on elements (i.e., the media, Islamic elements, LEOs siding with the socialists, and any federal officers attempting to interfere with militia actions that are required to end all socialist threats and actions and restore confidence in the federal government to the people of the US).

Relatives and support systems. Finally, as with all successful resistance forces, there is a large support element backing the militias – pre-screened by blood and life-long friendships. These provide surveillance, safe havens, transport, logistics, and hospital services. (This is the real reason the Nazis or Soviets – heck, even the Romans, back in the day – would go after family members well into 2-3 degrees of separation from a person they had caught and imprisoned/executed for anti-government actions.)

“Spear One” then provided this summary of the nominal goals of the militia movement:

The civil militia goal is to clean house once the Left initiate their insurrection in the streets – to harshly dispense with the violent rioters and looters, to protect people and their property, and to send surviving local, state and federal government officials who failed to obey their oaths to enforce public safety home and demand elections for their immediate replacement. (Not change the structure of government – simply to clean it out and reset as near to founding documents as possible.) A side bar to the goal is that for the next 200 years, no one in Washington D.C. or the state capitols will be eager to risk another uprising, keeping in mind that humans will always require regrooving at intervals – just as Thomas Jefferson once said:

And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.

“Spear One” finished up his commentary with this summary:

A US civil militia is real; it is just waiting for things perpetrated in the streets by the Left to get to a tipping point, or a call from a congressional coalition or the President to commence action. They are forming now and vetting personnel. A few have initiated a few simple international operations and are ironing out the bumps in organization (they tend to be decentralized). Each Spec Ops NCO can train up and lead dozens, and upon linking up with other dozens can form large paramilitary formations. There is no fear factor – a civil war now to save the country from socialist takeover (and the subsequent turnover to globalist powers) overrides all life issues and is abetted by that pesky oath taken by those vets and those militia members upon enlistment and reenlistment. An oath that is not forgotten and an oath that will always be in effect until each patriot’s dying day: “… defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic …”

On a personal note, when I go to Arlington National Cemetery, I stand humbled before the eternal formation being stood by those who went before me. There is nothing I would not do to stay faithful to those heroes of our Republic. The least of them seems better than me, and I would do anything to measure up, and perhaps earn their respect after the fact. The current burgeoning domestic socialist threat has to be countered and in such a way as to make the point clear – Against All Enemies – period.

“Spear One” provides us a REAL glimpse into the militia movement and its motivations, not the nonsense propagated by the agit-prop legacy media. These people are consummate patriots descended directly from the Founders, who are willing to lay everything on the line to defend, protect, and preserve our constitutional Republic. The patriotic militia movement will NOT let the Left’s brown shirts – Antifa and BLM – prevail. The brown shirts should think twice about inciting an insurrection because the result will not be what they think it will be.

How Much Fraud Could There Be?

Many have dismissed election fraud based on claims that there is no fraud, that the amount is small and incapable of changing results, and that the amount required to change results would necessitate an easily discovered coordinated effort.  Three months ago, these same people claimed that President Trump would steal the election through fraud.  They produced nothing to back their assertions, but they could have made estimates to show the minimal capacity for fraud.  How much fraud could there be, and can it be corrected before the vote is certified?

If election officials are in on the fraud, as the news about Dominion and the exposed shenanigans imply, it could be so extreme that 90 of 100 people vote for Trump and 100 votes are certified for Biden.  There would be 90 angry people saying, “I voted for Trump,” but fraud committed by election officials is almost impossible to correct.  The FBI has election crimes branches in all of its offices, but as Richard Pilger lamented, had a 40-year-old policy of investigating fraud after certification.  Attorney General William Barr recently changed that policy, but probably too little too late.

Corrupt elections are eventually audited, forensically investigated, and proven, and people go to jail.  I have heard dozens of retired Chicago employees brag about their role in frauding Kennedy into the presidency.  The subsequent indictment of 677 officials adds credibility to their claims.  Chicago saw 100,000 fraudulent votes fabricated in the 1982 Illinois elections, thanks again to corrupt election officials who went to jail.  Philadelphia, presently at the center of attention, also has its share of corrupt election officials.

Dominion’s systems could turn even honest election officials into unknowing fraudsters.  What kind of election software offers the ability to algorithmically alter votes as a feature?  It is a part of the auditing and testing system, but could easily be abused or misused.  And the Adjudication Module lets a “team” decide the voter’s intent.  We’re still at hanging chads?  What kind of election equipment company is named Dominion?

But what if the election officials were honest and Dominion free, and the fraud had to pass casual muster following proper procedure?

Impersonation

Walk sheets direct campaign workers to the homes of strong party supporters and regular voters, and contain the names, ages, phone numbers, addresses, party affiliations and voting histories of every registered voter.  This information is publicly accessible, available for purchase or obtained through campaigns.

Impersonation is one easy way to fraud.  I have heard a few stories from election judges who encountered impersonators.  Estimating a half hour to travel to a different polling place and vote, a fraudster could cast 24 votes on election day, with no need for fake ID.  Under the rules of many states, the fraudster walks in, proclaims their assumed name, scribbles and votes.  On the rare occasion that the signature is challenged, the fraudster bails.  Hitting 10 early voting locations every day, one fraudster might add another 300 to 400 undetectable votes.

Every year about 10% of people move, and about 16% of those move to another state, so playing the averages, about 3.2% of last elections’ voters will have moved away and are likely still registered, and it accumulates, and it shows in the walk sheets.  The fraudsters cross-reference the voting history lists and moving lists.  There are plenty of stale voters, enough that over 3% of the vote could be fraudulent through impersonation at the polling place.  A crew of 10 fraudsters could cast 4,000 ballots in a single county.

Three counties of 10-person crews impersonating voters, and Biden wins Georgia and Wisconsin.  Apart from fraud, impersonation also exposes innocent people to potential prosecution for double-voting.

Double-voting

Voters can take the fraud into their own hands by casting mail-in or absentee ballots where they have previously lived.  Forensic audits reveal low amounts of it, maybe 1 in 4,000 votes, a few thousand across a large state.  Double-voting depends strongly on the ethics and motivations of the fraudster, tempered by fear of prosecution after being caught in routine audits.  With Trump, motivation was likely strong.

Mail fraud -- Interception

The most vulnerable part of our election system is the mailed ballot.  The signed outer envelope has almost no security to protect the ballot inside, and there is no security to protect the envelope in its voyage.  There are many ways to commit fraud with mailed ballots.  Imagine a fraudster calling ahead with a message like, “Hi, this is Mike with the Lehigh County Republicans.  Don’t trust the Post Office with your ballot.  This Wednesday, we will be in your neighborhood between 1 and 3 to collect ballots and make sure they are counted.”  Ever the dutiful Republican, your 80-year-old mother fills out her ballot and Mike shows up at her door, just as promised.  Working with a driver, three minutes per stop, up to 20 or more ballots per hour, 160 per day, up to 6400 strong Republican ballots disposed of throughout the mail voting period.  A crew of amateurs did 900 in a week.

Mail fraud -- Flipping

But instead of disposing of those Republican ballots, the envelopes can be steamed open and the ballots replaced with Democrat ballots.  Steaming and stuffing an envelope might take about five minutes, so add one more person and 100 ballots are flipped per day, 4000 flipped during mail voting.  A three-person crew eliminates 6400 Trump ballots and gives Biden 4000, a 10,400 ballot swing.  If the driver and collector put in some extra hours to steam ballots, all 6400 could be flipped to yield a 12,800 ballot swing, with just three people and a robocall.

Restoring the election

Apart from punishing corruption months or years later, when against corrupt officials there appears little to do.  Despite apparently losing the election, was Kennedy removed from office and Nixon sworn in?  There is hope for Trump, but the courts must act uncharacteristically aggressively toward election fraud, ordering forensic inspections and audits at even the appearance of fraud.

Impersonation and double-voting can be detected through auditing, but those ballots are mixed in the box, identical to the others.  Some states may have ways to filter them, assuming they are discovered before certification.

Intercepted ballots are gone.  Ten people vanish 50,000 Trump votes.  Biden wins.  Get over it.  Even if people report, “these guys pretended to be Republicans and took my ballot,” there is no replacement ballot.  Flipped ballots are likely unofficial copies and might be forensically detected, if a court orders it.  If Trump is only 40,000 votes down and there are 200,000 fake Biden ballots (from a crew of 48 people), catching a fifth of those would change the result.  Hopefully, where the election officials stayed open late behind closed doors to receive fake ballots, the courts will order a forensic inspection prior to certification. 

The Democrat and media assertions are bunk.  Fraud occurs on scales that easily change outcomes and involves conspiracies that are discovered.  In 2020, there are dozens of potentially corrupt jurisdictions that have acted suspiciously, and dozens of other unconfirmed allegations, and any one of them could significantly change the result.

French Catholics Protest for End to Lockdown on Mass

 Paris (AP) -- With banners reading “Let us Pray” and “We Want Mass,” Catholic protesters held scattered demonstrations around France on Sunday to demand that authorities relax virus lockdown measures to allow religious services.

 

 

In the western city of Nantes, hundreds gathered in front of a statue of the Virgin Mary, some kneeling on the rain-soaked pavement, according to local broadcaster France Bleu. Similar gatherings were reported or planned in the eastern city of Strasbourg, Bordeaux in the southwest, and outside the Saint-Louis Cathedral in Versailles.

Devout Catholics sang hymns and protested for hours Friday at the landmark Saint-Sulpice Church on the Left Bank of Paris at a similar demonstration — but Paris police said the protest didn’t respect social distancing and violated an order against praying in the streets, so they banned a similar rally planned for Sunday.

 

 

With more confirmed virus cases in than any other European country, predominantly Roman Catholic France banned Mass and other religious services for the month of November as part of nationwide partial lockdown measures aimed at reining in infections and relieving pressure on hospitals. Churches and other religious sites remain open for individual visitors to come and pray.

The vicar general of the Paris archdiocese, Benoist de Sinety, urged churchgoers to respect the rules, saying Sunday on BFM television that such protests “aren’t useful.” However he called Mass “a vital necessity” and called it a kind of “suffering to not be able to go.”

 

 

While France is seeing signs that the current surge may be reaching its peak, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin appealed to believers to watch services online and avoid public gatherings while the lockdown is place. In a statement published on Twitter, he said he would meet Monday with religious leaders to discuss how the government may eventually open up services again, notably amid pressure to allow in-person Christmas celebrations.

One of France’s earliest virus clusters was traced to an evangelical religious gathering near Strasbourg in February. The region’s ensuing outbreak quickly overwhelmed hospitals, forcing France to send patients to neighboring Germany and Switzerland for treatment and prompting the French military to build its first-ever peacetime field hospital to relieve saturated facilities.

 

 To date, France has reported 44,246 virus-related deaths, and today COVID-19 patients occupy 96% of the country's standard intensive care unit capacity.

The Long Blue Line: “Into the Jaws of Death”—SM2 John Roberts and LCI-93 at Omaha Beach

 The most iconic photograph from D-Day is titled “Into the Jaws of Death,” which was shot by Coast Guard combat photographer, Chief Petty Officer Robert Sargent, from a landing craft approaching the beaches of Normandy. The picture’s name is horrifically apt as the morning of June 6, 1944, found Steward’s Mate 2nd Class John Noble Roberts and the crew of USS LCI(L)-93 (a.k.a. LCI-93) running into that hotly-contested piece of French shoreline.

 

 

John Roberts was born in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, on November 1, 1924. He was the oldest of 15 children whose parents were cotton farmers. He was working as a clerk at a grocery store and a waiter at the Silver Moon Night Club in Alexandria, Louisiana, when he was drafted into the Coast Guard.

Roberts attended Coast Guard basic training at Curtis Bay, Maryland, from June to July 1943, and then headed to St. Augustine, Florida, for Steward’s Mate training. In January 1944, he embarked a troop transport destined for the European Theater. On January 27th, he disembarked in England and was assigned to Coast Guard-manned LCI-91. He later transferred to Coast Guard-manned LCI-93 under the command of Lt.j.g. Budd Bornhoft.

 

LCI-93 was a new kind of amphibious assault ship, one of many such vessels crewed by Coast Guardsmen in World War II. Commonly called “Elsie Items” after the first two letters and the letter “I” in the phonetic alphabet, LCIs were unusual-looking ships—only 158-foot long with a square conning tower jutting up from the after portion of the vessel. Essentially, they were small troop transports that could land troops on hostile beaches.

LCI-93 had seen action in the Allied invasions of the North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. Now, with Roberts on board, LCI-93 would sail with the joint U.S. Navy-Coast Guard Flotilla 10 for Operation Neptune, the naval operation supporting Operation Overlord–the Allied assault on Nazi-occupied France.

As an African American, Roberts had experienced discrimination throughout his life. And, even though the United States military would not fully desegregate until 1948, cracks in its segregationist policies appeared during World War II. The Coast Guard led the way in having integrated crews on its ships and Roberts got along well with his shipmates.

 LCI-93 made its first D-Day run to shore at 9:45 a.m. with Roberts manning his battle station as an emergency messenger. Roberts’s combat role would be vital to shipboard communications if the LCI’s sound-powered phone system failed. When LCI-319 approached Easy Red beach, heavy German artillery and machine gun fire covered it with dead and wounded. The landing vessel ground over beach obstacles and the crew dropped ramps on either side of the bow sending into the fray 200 soldiers from the 1st Infantry Division (a.k.a. “Big Red One”). One soldier was caught shirking in the crew’s quarters and Roberts escorted him up to the bridge to face Lt.j.g. Bornhoft. Soon after, LCI-93 recovered wounded soldiers, backed off the beach, and steamed to the Coast Guard-manned transport USS Samuel B. Chase to embark more troops.

Dear Media: Give Us a Break About ‘Healing’ and ‘Coming Together’ — It’s Not Happening

It is beyond comprehension, in the most offensive possible way, that now that the liberal media believes that they have got what they wanted and overthrown President Donald Trump. Surprise, surprise, the activists posing as journalists are calling for the nation to “heal” and “come together.”

It’s not happening.

For over four years, Trump supporters have received a daily dose of hatred and vitriol from these Democrat pundits who believe that they are our moral superiors. We have been bombarded from every angle with mean-spirited and negative stories about the president, his family, his supporters, his cabinet secretaries, and his senior staff. They have spared no one, not even the First Lady or his young son Baron.

Right at the beginning of the presidency, Steve Bannon was depicted as Darth Vader on the cover of Time magazine. Stephen Miller was hounded continuously and branded as a racist to the point where unhinged protesters began showing up at his home. Kellyanne Conway was mocked from the moment she decided to show her love for this nation by wearing a patriotic dress to the inauguration. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was chased out of a restaurant by hateful militant leftists on their staff simply for being the White House Press Secretary.

CNN doxxed a random private citizen just because the president shared their meme on social media. 

We will not forget what they did to the Covington Kids, declaring that these young children had “punchable faces.” We will not forget the $32 million dollars that they spent on Robert Mueller’s bogus Russia probe. We will always remember that they impeached our president for a lighthearted phone call.

Beyond what they have said and done to us politically, these monsters also made excuses for our cities being torched and their residents terrorized — all in the name of Black Lives Matter’s false narrative. “Fiery, but mostly peaceful protests,” CNN’s chyron infamously read. No, we will not forget this, either.

For four long and expensive years, the media claimed that we needed a special prosecutor to find “Russian collusion” that did not exist, yet they cannot wait a few weeks to find out if we had a legitimate election or not? Give me a break.

If they want to “come together” and “heal this divided nation” so badly, they should be leading the charge to ensure that every legal vote is counted and that both sides can present their findings in a court of law to make sure that it was fair. 

Calls for sudden unity are both disingenuous and grossly naive. Why? They are calling for this unity on their terms. "Welcome, welcome," they say. And then on the same token, the same folks are still mandating that those who elected Trump (more than half the country) should be punished and boycotted for supporting the president. 

It is psychotic, but it is also totalitarianism textbook Communism. It's brainwashing, abusive, and far from kumbaya. The control is terrifying, and as much as they pretend to want peace signs, if you don't agree with them you are the target. 

Does anyone expect Joe Biden will call for unity for ensuring that the tech companies give equal voice to the left and right? Ha. 

We owe the radical left less than nothing. We owe them eternal distrust and contempt. They have made it clear how they feel about those of us on the right, and if their party comes into power, they should be treated the same exact way that they have treated us for these last few years.

Lou Dobbs Is Exactly Right About This One Thing

I’ve never been a huge Lou Dobbs fan, and that probably isn’t going to change. Having said that, sometimes, he is 100% right.

A couple of days ago, Dobbs interviewed re-elected California Republican Devin Nunes on the election “results.” Here it is reported on by Jason Campbell, who was James Comey’s figurative “bacha bazi” (NTTAWWT) while at the FBI and who now says stupid stuff for CNN.

 

 Dobbs is exactly right. This election has been so rife with industrial-scale fraud that we will never know who actually won. The idea that hundreds of thousands of people either voted only for Biden or voted GOP down-ballot and against Trump is, to say the least, unusual. Tens of thousands of votes cast for a single candidate are not, no matter what Nate Silver claims, a usual occurrence, nor do election officials routinely sort ballots into single candidate piles before tabulating them. We know that tens of thousands of dead people voted. We know that no signature match was carried out in many jurisdictions that now have exotic results. For all the voices in the media, on the left and on the quisling side of the right declaring questions about Dominion Voting Systems to be conspiracy theories, prominent Democrats made those exact same claims only last year. They were not conspiracy theories then.

 

 

If President Trump does not prevail in his legal challenges and if GOP state legislatures lack the testicular fortitude to do what they need to do, that is, select their own slate of electors, then what?

Should the Constitutional process play itself out and Joe Biden’s theft of this election be accepted, I would expect that President Trump will leave the White House. What I would not expect to happen is that either President Trump or any of us accept that this result is anything but the worst sort of blatant in-your-face theft possible. Biden loses his claim to any sort of support; he loses his claim to any sort of the benefit of the doubt. He gets no honeymoon. His decisions do not get the “praise when right, criticize when wrong” treatment, they get unremitting rejection as the acts of a usurper. I would hope that President Trump will stay in the public eye and on the road.

We could very well find ourselves in the position of George Washington’s army, the “three-percenters” in the early years of the American Revolution. Unable to win, Washington’s goal was to maintain an army in the field as a focal point for local resistance and as a symbol or the movement. He went from defeat to defeat, but always reconstituting, always learning, always growing stronger.

 The left can’t organize a cheating spree like this again. But our anger is not subsiding; it is getting stronger. Over the weekend, hundreds of thousands of people turned out across the nation to #StopTheSteal. We have to build on that anger and turn it into a political movement that in 2024 will retake the White House and ensure a theft like the one that we experienced on November 3 never, ever happens again.

National Mask Mandate and Possible Lock Downs




In the world of Republican politics, there are those who are desperate to get back to business as usual, and then there are those who understand where the party is going. Further, there are those who understand doing what’s right, even if it requires a fight. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is in the latter category.

She recently responded to Joe Biden’s proposed national mask mandate and his movement toward possible future lock downs if he gains the presidency. In doing so, she showed exactly why she’s a 2024 favorite.

“It’s a good day for freedom. Joe Biden realizes that the president doesn’t have the authority to institute a mask mandate,” said Ian Fury, communications specialist for Noem. “For that matter, neither does Governor Noem, which is why she has provided her citizens with the full scope of the science and trusted them to make the best decisions for themselves and their loved-ones.”

This is correct. There is no constitutional provision that allows Joe Biden, nor really even any state governor, to force citizens to wear a piece of cloth on their face. Biden himself has admitted that several times, though he’s then backtracked in an attempt to reclaim authority he wouldn’t actually have as president, if he becomes president.

The data behind mask usage is clear. They do next to nothing to stop the spread of the virus. Europe is seeing spikes despite widespread mandates. The United States is also seeing its highest case loads ever even after mask mandates went into effect in nearly every state long ago. California is locking down again, for example, despite having a mask mandate since before the summer. There is no correlation between masks and the spread of the coronavirus. Bureaucrats and Democrats keep pushing them as an effective mitigation tool simply because they want to be able to say they did something in order to cover their backsides. Admitting they can’t fix everything would go against their “government is all-powerful” orthodoxy.

In regards to lock downs, Noem laid down her position directly on Thursday, saying what a lot of more feeble Republicans won’t say. Namely, that they are a waste of time.

Noem reiterated her position on lockdowns Thursday on social media when she said they don’t effectively stop the spread of COVID-19 but have negative effects on businesses and the overall economy.

“We already know that lockdowns don’t stop the spread of the virus. However, they destroy small businesses and jobs, and they make it difficult for families to put food on the table,” she wrote.

This is also correct. Lock downs, to the extent they work at all, only operate to delay the virus. In the end, you force people into their homes, the chief vector for spread of the disease. When the lock down ends, which is inevitable, you then send out a bunch of cross-infected people and things only turn out worse than they would have. That’s why states that didn’t do wide-spread lock downs, but instead sought to smartly mitigate based on what actually works, have ultimately fared better than places like New York and Michigan.

Noem’s willingness to put a stake in the ground and fight are one of the reasons she’s a frontrunner for 2024. Republicans don’t want a return to fealty and boilerplate talking points about the glories of big business. They want someone who will stand up even when it’s easier to just bend the knee to Dr. Fauci or tell people to slap on an ineffective mask. Unfortunately, far too many Republicans, especially in Washington and in the conservative commentariat, haven’t quite learned that lesson yet. They will soon enough though.

Will the Real Winner be China?

Cheered on by the media, presumptuous Democrats are already popping the corks and picking out the drapes for the Oval Office, giddy that more than 70 million Republican voters will be handed their red caps and shown the door.

Not so fast.  Upended state election protocols, systemic machine software glitches, Stalinistic vote count irregularities, and ballot deliveries in the dead of night are not always enough to snatch victory from defeat. Fighting against the Tammany Hall playbook may be challenging, but each day brings a stronger indication that a reversal of fortune is forthcoming.

On the other side of the world, a gentleman sporting a thick bootblack pompadour and a disarming smirk nonetheless considers the prospect of an upper hand in the American presidency.  Xi Jinping has wagered this bet by hook into Wall Street, media moguls, show business, and academia, and by crook through the gluttony and hubris emblematic of some of America’s most powerful political families.

The Chinese are the epitome of patience, measuring history in eras and dynasties going back four millennia.  They have fought hundreds of wars, almost all of them internal and tribal, conveying valuable lessons on warfighting and the use of intelligence to defeat rivals of far greater strength and resources by turning those attributes against them.  Their spoken language and artistic ideographs are incomprehensible to most outsiders and vexing even to scholars of the Orient.  Simple words, such as shi, seem repartee spoken with a smile, but describe military and diplomatic schemes crafted to discredit or eliminate an opponent.  So long as we view China through a Western aperture, we will continue to overvalue their assurances while their ill intentions go unnoticed.

China and its sole governing entity, the China Communist Party (CCP), reign over a global empire, although not in the conventional sense of land holdings.  At its height, proud Britons claim that the sun never set on their dominion.  China’s empire is asymmetric, built upon the conscription of world leaders in finance, government, and the media, and the use of rapacious trade practices, intellectual piracy, and espionage.  Much of this predation eludes the five senses.

Historians point out that China began to chip away at American global superiority in the Nixon era, starting with the first overture to open China to the West.  The world was entangled in a Cold War and China’s common border, nuclear capability, and blossoming military posed an existential threat to the Russians.

Nixon viewed the Sino-Soviet border as a northern front in Asia that broke Leonid Brezhnev’s concentration on the United States and Western Europe.  America began courting the Maoists in 1972, creating a pipeline to provide the expertise and hardware needed to boost its military, technology, and economic health.  To this day, China cultivates sympathy and handouts from the West, assuring wealthy nations and world banks that continued financial and technical assistance will lead to the opening of their markets.  It is a gambit well-played.  Linger a step back from any tangible reforms while offering glimmers of hope to your benefactors.  This Nixonian notion of appeasement to China has since dumbed down the foreign policy of Western intelligence agencies, bow-tied GS-15s at the State Department, and every American president.

Gerald Ford stayed the Nixon course and became the second president to visit China in 1975.  When Mao died in 1976, Ford heaped praise upon a man whose Great Leap Forward had snuffed out the lives of tens of millions of Chinese.  In 1979, Jimmy Carter, just a pair of blue jeans away from the peanut farm, signed an accord with the People’s Republic, giving them full diplomatic recognition.  After the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Ronald Reagan lifted trade restrictions and increased sales of military equipment.  In response to the crackdown of a pro-democracy student movement in Tiananmen Square in 1989, George H.W. Bush withheld some military aid as a weak alternative to economic sanctions.

In 1996, Bill Clinton drew criticism for his approval to transfer secret nuclear missile and satellite technology to China.  After subpoenaed records disappeared and his Commerce secretary died in a Bosnian plane crash, the scandal faded from the headlines.  He followed up by normalizing trade relations and opened the door for China’s historic integration into the World Trade Organization while overlooking the issues of nuclear proliferation and human rights.

Bush 43 toed the family line but lost the automotive industry to a massive influx of Chinese auto parts brought on by low labor costs and Beijing industry controls.  Other American companies were battered by cheap knockoffs, but Bush refused tariffs on China imports in the belief that China was continuing to liberalize its policies.  Barack Obama, a globalist eager to diminish America’s position on the world stage, bent a knee to the U.S.-Sino relationship and visited China within a year of his election.  When he campaigned for the rise of China, Beijing took advantage of his idealism, slapped down his climate change goals, and began an aggressive military expansion in the South China Sea.

A half century of missing the head fake has finally brought China to box us into the turnbuckle.  In addition to decades of private sector and government technology, weapons and industrial transfers, America flung open its campus gates to Chinese students.  Today, upwards of 370,000 Chinese full-time undergrads and exchange technologists have flooded America’s most prestigious universities and research institutions.  They return home with bits and pieces of advanced military and industrial technology that can be readily assembled to replicate everything from aircraft carriers to socks.

Donald Trump has been a bull in a China shop for Xi Jingping and the CCP, knocking them back on their heels over their human rights record, international law violations, and intellectual property theft.  Throwing the American lot behind Hong Kong, he has ratcheted up import tariffs on Chinese goods, unwound unfair trade agreements, and turned back a policy of globalization that used American largesse to pay for the ills of the world.  Trump is a departure from the rollover presidents that Beijing has come to expect and is viewed as calculating, strategic, and a master tactician. No surprise that American corporatists in the deep pockets of the Jinping regime see the relationship as deteriorating under Trump, who is making long-overdue adjustments to the mercantile scales that will benefit both countries. 

All of this was before the pandemic.

The Wuhan virus has been of great utility to the American left, landing in the middle of a presidential election campaign, unraveling a robust economy, and opening doors to an unprecedented level of political chicanery that has subverted a presidential election outcome.  China’s early reaction was peculiar, cloaking a virological lab release by its proximity to a nearby wet market, immediately ejecting foreign scientists, medical experts, and journalists from the country, covering its tracks through the WHO, facilitating global spread through airline travel while locking down their own people, and hoarding medical supplies and protective equipment.  The devastating impact on democracies and world markets, particularly in the United States, smacks more of calculation and political dead reckoning than chance.

Giving China a leg up has eroded a century of American global dominance.  Using deception cloaked as diplomacy, the CCP has turned five decades of American rapprochement into a superpower status.  The renowned China scholar Michael Pillsbury points out in his prescient book The Hundred-Year Marathon that a 100-year plan to achieve world hegemony was hatched at the advent of the founding of the People’s Republic in 1949.  Xi Jinping is now poised to make that goal a personal legacy, bringing home the prize thirty years ahead of schedule and at little cost to their communist ways, trade practices, and continued oppression of human rights.

The stakes are high for America’s future if Trump is robbed of a second term and a crucial trade victory denied. If Joe Biden is gifted a seat in the Oval Office, it will be by means fouler than anyone, including the Founding Fathers, thought possible. He will play a Manchurian candidate for whom a vintage movie script could not have been more carefully written.

Before we get started, how many more memoirs is this narcissist going to write?

Rising Republican star, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem on Thursday skewered former president and current condescending-know-it-all Barack Obama over a passage from O’s soon-to-be-released memoir, titled “A Promised Land.”

As reported by The Blaze, the memoir, to be released November 17, is scheduled to be the first of a two-part series released by Penguin Random House, which paid a $65 million advance to Barack and Michelle Obama for the rights to publish both their memoirs. [Rolling-eyes emoji]

Hmm. I wonder how much of that $65 million Mr. and Mrs. Martha’s Vineyard plan to donate to Chicago’s Southside, their old haunt, where streets run red with the blood of black men shot to death by other black men every weekend — but I digress.

In one of several excerpts from the book released to the Washington Examiner, Obama suggested that Donald Trump’s 2016 election was in part because Americans “were spooked (of course he intended the pun) by a black man in the White House” —  which he partially blamed on former Alaska governor and John McCain’s vice-presidential running mate Sarah Palin for creating racial tension and “wild conspiracy theories.”

“Through Palin, it seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican Party — xenophobia, anti-intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, and antipathy toward Black and brown folks — were finding their way to center stage.”

Takes brass ones, doesn’t it?

But Noem took exception with O’s suggestion that the “promise of America” has not been fulfilled. (Michelle Obama was seen nodding furiously in the background. [sarc])

“Across the nation, people from all walks of life have poured into the streets to protest the deaths of unarmed Black men and women at the hands of the police. Perhaps most troubling of all, our democracy seems to be teetering on the brink of crisis—a crisis rooted in a fundamental contest between two opposing visions of what America is and what it should be; a crisis that has left the body politic divided, angry, and mistrustful, and has allowed for an ongoing breach of institutional norms, procedural safeguards, and the adherence to basic facts that both Republicans and Democrats once took for granted.”

Spare us the faux intellectualism, O. Besides being elected president of the United States — twice, and primarily by white Americans — you were handed a $65 million advance to tell us how “racist” and “imperfect” we are. Does that strike you at all as hypocritical as hell?

“What a ridiculous message,” Noem tweeted.

“What a ridiculous message. Obama had 8 years, including 2 with full control of Congress. He sent our jobs to China, left our healthcare system in disarray, our foreign policy in shambles & our people divided. Instead of blaming Trump, Obama should consider what led to 2016.”

Memo to Biden supporters: Congrats for bringing that back to America. Well done. [sarc]


Someone else disgusted by Obama’s book is conservative author, commentator, and activist Candace Owens, who on Friday night called the former president “despicable” during an appearance on Fox News with host Sean Hannity. As reported by Fox News, Owens said Obama was “the first president who left the White House hating America.”

“It felt like we finally had arrived at a place in this country where we could put the past in the past. Barack Obama became the president of the United States because White Americans supported him.

“And rather than show some unity, rather than show some respect for this country that gave him literally everything he has, he turns his back … and says, ‘Look at this despicable country. It’s broken.’ “He is the first president that has ever sat in the White House and come out … hating America.

“President Trump has spent the last four years making efforts to strengthen the Black community, doubling his support among Black women and “garnered 18% of the Black male vote.”

Daily Mail observed: “Candace Owens accuses Obama of hating America.”

Guess what, Daily Mail? Candace Owens was right. She was also right in going after the Democrat Party for continuing to play the race card, as contrasted by Trump.

“Do you think that [Democrats] could have the humility to pause for a second and say, ‘You know what, maybe it’s not because every single person in America is a racist.’

“People are standing behind Donald J. Trump because he is an effective and good leader who tells the truth and doesn’t … run on identity politics.”

Amen. Democrats have long been the party of identity politics. Purposely. Maliciously. Deceitfully. Democrats long ago learned that the only way they win the presidency is by turning Americans against one another; by class, race, sexual preference (yes, Mazie Hirono and Merriam-Webster, sexual preference), and whatever else it takes to “win.”

Incidentally, those of us who read Obama’s 2004 memoir titled “Dreams from My Father” learned everything we needed to know about the globalist; everything we needed to know about a man who believes that America is not only no more “exceptional” than any other country; but is, in many ways, in his eyes, far worse than most.

As was the case with how his globalist father before him, growing up in colonial Africa, viewed the then-British Empire, Obama views America as a country that only achieved what it achieved at the expense of the rest of the world; only achieved what it achieved through slave labor; only achieved what it achieved by ripping success away from others. How “odd” that today’s Democrat Party believes exactly as does Barack Hussein Obama and his long-departed anti-colonialist pops. Truth? Not odd in the least.
